Smooth Salesperson -- But don't expect service afterwards

I bought an RDX from Paul a little over 3 years ago. The purchase experience was fine--nothing to rave about--Paul was a seasoned salesperson--and I got my car. Fast forward to my experience since, and I can only recommend you purchase at another Atlanta dealership.Paul suggested I get my front windows tinted by Acura--of course, with the standard Acura dealership markup. I paid the premium price so that I could have the Acura dealership behind the work and the tint would match the manufacturer's tint existing on the car. Wrong on both counts. Acura outsourced the job to a local tint shop--so the tint didn't match. And today, I had my tint tested, and it is illegally tinted. 28% tint as tested by an independent party -- which exceeds the tint permitted by the State of Georgia. When I called about the matter, I was told that if I was in Georgia, the tint shop could be asked, as a favor to remove the tint, but that was the only responsibility Acura was taking for the illegal tint. Acura blamed the polarization of the windows for the illegal tint. Nice to see that they take care of customers--and stand by their products--all of them. Why am I not really surprised? Well, it was a few months ago I was in the Service department -- my RDX had several incidents of being undriveable due to an error that popped up on the dash, caused the car to shake, and forced me to stop driving to prevent additional damage (due to the malfunction in the engine). Though I had the car thoroughly examined at the dealership of purchase (Jackson), nothing was found. Fast forward--I drive 640 miles to Maryland that very same day and receive a recall notice for my RDX in the mail that night. The notice advises me to immediately stop driving the car due to potentially dangerous airbags. The notice had been forwarded from a previous address so had taken some time to get to me. All I could think about was how disgusted I was that my car was in the possession of the original dealership and not one person thought to mention that my car had been recalled. Truly the antithesis of customer service. I have other anecdotes to share, but, have already wasted more time than planned advising the review-searching public about my experience. Don't be fooled by their gorgeous showroom and savvy sales techniques -- the moment you drive off the lot, you are no longer a responsibility.

We were recently in the market for another Acura and decided to look at all the dealerships in and around Atlanta. Since we had previously used Jackson Acura for our MDX, it was included in our search. There we met with Patrick McPherson who was very helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and a professional individual. Patrick worked with us and we ultimately purchased another Acura. He explained to us that his "word is his bond" and it truly was as there were some outstanding issues that he immediately took care of for us.We were impressed with his salesmanship and feel he is a tremendous asset to Jackson Acura. Pity that all salesman are not like Patrick. I would certainly purchase another vehicle from Patrick in the future.

I was in the process of working with a sales rep who was taking too long to answer my questions. I called the sales manager to get the requested information. The used car manager was rude and obnoxious. I will never purchase a vehicle from Jackson as long as he is there. And to think, I considered traveling over a 100 miles for an MDX. I can take my business where it will be appreciated. I rated them a one because I couldn't submit without a rating.

My wife and I drove all the way from Decatur, AL to purchase our second new RDX from Tejay. I had a great experience with Paul Silverman as my salesman. He sent me a very competitive quote on a 2016 Acura MDX. My wife and I came in and went for a relaxed and informative test drive. Paul knew the car inside and out, and had answers for all our questions. As we decided to purchase the car, we were very pleased at the straightforward nature of the process. Dealer installed "options" at great and inflated cost? None. High-pressure sales job on extended warranty and service contracts? None. We had our own financing lined up, but Jackson Acura offered an even better deal through one of their partners, saving us money and significantly undercutting what Acura's financing arm was offering.Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful, and the facility was beautiful. We will definitely come back to Jackson Acura for our next vehicle.

Last weekend, I traveled from Tallahassee, Florida to purchase a 2015 RDX. From the onset of my contact Jackson Acura, I was most impressed by the honesty, professionalism and dedication to customer service of their employees. I first spoke with Mr. Paul Silverman, who provided me with a purchase price and details about my prospective new vehicle. He was forthright in providing me enough information that I would travel from Tallahassee to Roswell, Georgia to finalize the purchase of my new vehicle. In my opinion, Mr. Silverman is an honest and dedicated professional who clearly represents and upholds the dealership motto of Everything we do, we do with excellence. Later, I met the Finance Director Mr. Michael St. Clair. Mr. St. Clair was very organized in the preparation of all paperwork necessary to complete the purchase of a new vehicle. He was exceptionally knowledgeable of the financial aspects of a new vehicle purchase and was very personable. Finally, I met Parts Manager Mr. Steve Renaldo and Product Specialist Mr. Brandon Teague. Both of these individuals were extremely helpful in providing direction and guidance as to what items could better protect my investment. As a result, I purchased several items for the new vehicle. I must admit, I was apprehensive of driving to Roswell to purchase a new vehicle primarily because of past negative experiences with other dealers. Collectively, Jackson Acura employees changed my perception of the car buying experience. These folks are on their game-a highly competent and motivated group of individuals. If you need a new or used vehicle I would recommend buying one here!

I worked with James Moore on purchasing a used Honda Odyssey. He was very helpful and patient with me throughout the process. If I felt like something didn't feel right during a test drive, he took it right to the mechanic and had it fixed immediately. We took the car out several times to test drive until I was satisfied with the way the balance of the wheels and the breaks felt. He remained patient and determined to attend to my concerns throughout this process. I took the car to an independent mechanic nearby to get a pre-purchase inspection. When the independent mechanic noted some areas of concern, James and his manager, Dmitry, reinspected the findings and even drove the car back to the independent mechanic to watch them inspect it. After finding that the independent mechanic had fudged the information of concern, James and Dmitry made them refund my money for the inspection. I was impressed that James and Dmitry were confident in their vehicle and were willing to do everything they could to uphold the integrity of their own inspection and the dealership's customer service practices, in addition to ensuring their client's well-being. Thank you!

My family and saw an Acura TL advertised on Jackson Acura's website which brought us in. Even though the TL was just sold, James Moore (sales consultant) was able to direct us to some other great options. From the get go, James treated us like family and made us feel at home. He was definitely not pushy to sell but did want to earn our business. James showed excellence by listening and understanding our need for a vehicle while respecting our budget. He was able to lead us to a pre-owned Acura RL which fit our need perfectly. James took the time and went over all the various features of the car in detail. Since it was around lunch time and stomachs were growling, James suggested that my wife (currently pregnant) and 2 year old son take the car and grab some lunch to get a better feel of the car. Needless to say, we negotiated a great price and purchased the vehicle. James had our vehicle detailed and put a full tank of gas in the car too. This was the first dealer where I have purchased a pre-owned vehicle and offered to put a FULL tank of gas in the car! James showed more interest in meeting our needs than making a sale. In addition, Eric (sales manager) and Michael St. Clair (Finance Director), treated us well and with respect. Overall, I would not even hesitate to buy at Jackson Acura again. After visiting and test driving several cars at several dealerships, we decided on the MDX. We called other Acura dealerships and Jackson Acura offered us the best deal. James Moore is the associate who helped us from start to finish and he was one of the friendliest sales associates we have ever worked with! Popped into dealership one particularly frigid Saturday morning in a rental not expecting to find anything to buy as had been the case for the previous 6 months. First time here. Salesman James Moore convinced me to drive 06 MDX, how I still do not know. Instantly knew it was the right car when it started with no hesitation in that weather. Due to my personal time constraints i thought I would have to come back. Instead they had me in and out in 90 minutes which has to be a record for buying a car. Racing to return the rental and pick up the MDX and getting my college son to Athens proved futile with Saturday 285 Atlanta traffic enduring no fewer than 7 chokepoints around the city. Fortunately, one phone call, thats all , and they kept the MDX for me until the next Saturday since no kids or spouse were available to return until the next week. I am happy to report my kids very happy with MDX at UGA but I guess I will have to visit there to drive the car, it was gone that quick.

I'm leaving 1 out of 5, and here's why. Last month, I bought a used car from here, with a paint gouge in the door. I told my salesperson, C.M., that we had a deal if they took care of the paint scratch. He agreed and I bought the car. C.M. explained to me that the paint person does the work outside, and the weather had to be nice. This was understandable, but I had to call them every time to keep following up, and got very few callback requests honored. After 3 weeks, I decided to also speak with the used car manager to get everything resolved in a timely manner. Patrick was very nice on the phone, and although he was going on vacation, he took ownership of my issue and passed my info to Dmitry, who was supposed to call me that afternoon or the next day. About 4 days later, after not hearing from Dmitry, I called to again try to arrange the paint work. Dmitry told me to come by Friday and they would take care of it. I asked for some details about the process, as I was concerned that painting outside with the pollen might be problematic. Dmitry said, "The guy does a great job, you won't even be able to tell". That sounded great to me, so I brought my car today. Dmitry asked for my keys and I said I would like to go wait where the car was being painted because I was working remotely, and may need to retrieve items from my car while it dried. Dmitry told me I couldn't accompany my car to the location, and he refused tell me where my car was going when I asked. I said if my car is going to a body shop, why is it a big deal for me to go wait at the location? At this point, Dmitry got really defensive and started arguing with me. THIS WAS AN IMMEDIATE RED FLAG. I expressed that I was uncomfortable sitting at the dealership for an indeterminate amount of time, while I didn't know where my car was. I also expressed concerns about the body shop being used, as MAACO is right down the street, and they are notoriously bad at what they do. Then Dmitry starts arguing with me and telling me this is basically how it works. I told him this was unacceptable for me and we would need to consider another option. At this point, he continued arguing with me, including in front of customers out front, and got on the phone with someone, I assume the paint guy. Finally, the paint guy shows up, but he took my car off site to do the work. When it came back, it was far from what was promised. Not only is the paint not matched correctly, it was obviously smeared on with the touch up brush, and it's not even smooth. Rough and uneven. I have done better touch up jobs in my driveway, but went out of my way to let a professional do it this time because it was in a very visible spot and it was larger than usual. I thought for sure with their experience, it would be better than what I could do, so I brought it to them on Dmitry's word, which was that "I wouldn't even be able to tell." 1 star is pretty fair. First, because I had to chase them on the phone for 3 weeks to get someone to take ownership of the problem. Secondly, Dmitry was not professional about the situation at all, and had a rude attitude with me when I questioned the details. Third, the actual work is not good. It is not even close to professional. If I had any idea it was going to be this bad, I would have done it myself. When I showed other people the work, the most common reaction was, "A body shop guy did that?!?!" The only real redeeming parts of the experience were that C.M. and Patrick were both cool and professional with me. As it is, this has cost me a day out of work, and now the cost of taking it to a reputable body shop to finally make it right. Very disappointed. I gave them all the chances to make this right, and I was very patient. With all of the positive reviews here, I was really hoping for a better experience. I gave them so many chances to make it right, and they basically spit in my face. The experience has left a bad taste in my mouth for Jackson Acura.

I purchased an Acura MDX from Jackson Acura. We worked with Zack Cruce, he was awesome and made you feel totally comfortable, no pressure at all. We inquired about a later model MDX but I wasnt in love with it. A week later, Zack contacted us and told us about another MDX that just came in that day he sent us pictures and the following day, I took it for a test drive and purchased it the same day. The dealership quoted us the highest amount for our trade better than the 5 other dealers we went to previously. So we were happy to trade in for a new vehicle. Steve McCarthy was great, he answered all my questions & concerns, the manegement in the othe hand was rude, I paid tge car if full but since a part of it was by check it was ok to make me sign papers that if the check bounded the will take the car back and I understand that but when I asked a copy of the title the maneger gets upset, he gets it for me but hand it to me in a rude mean way, almost throws it in my face and turns his head to the other direction, no one deserves that treatment, specially after spending over $22k, will not recommend.

I searched all over the southeast looking for the best deal on a 2015 MDX. I wrongly assumed that Jackson Acura's prices would not be competitive. After getting the typical dealer run around with the other dealers I spoke with, I reluctantly sent in a price request to Jackson Acura and received an immediate response. My family of 5 purchased a 2015 MDX from Paul last weekend. Our experience can only be described as STRESS FREE! My husband and I came to Jackson Acura with our 3 children, under the age of 10. We were able to test drive, and purchase the vehicle with great ease. My children had snacks, and were given crayons and coloring books. Excellent experience. Purchased a new 2015 MDX. Salesman, Paul was great to work with. The process was straight forward, transparent and painless. The dealership brought a small knick in the paint to my attention when I picked up the car (I never would have noticed this until later). Overall very good experience in the trade of our 2009 Pilot. Dmitry Gumanov and Arthur Melman did a very good job of working with us on a fair trade for both sides. No high pressure, which was greatly appreciated. Both of them were complete gentlemen and highly professional.My next door neighbor takes his '14 MDX to Jackson for service and raves about how good the Service Department is! Our MDX has developed an intermittent 1-2 second vibration at around 1500-2000 rpms. Contacted Dmitry, he checked with the Service Manager and reported back to us that they have a fix for this issue. Taking car to the Service Department in about a week. Hopefully, this will be permanently resolved. Otherwise, I absolutely love the MDX and so far, my experience with Jackson.

I found the car I was looking for online one evening and submitted an inquiry. I quickly received a call the morning of the next business day from Arthur. We scheduled a time to test drive and when I arrived he already had the car out and running with the AC on. Pretty awesome if you ask me. The sales process was pretty painless and I felt like Arthur was on my side which wasn't what I'd expected for a car buying process. I recently purchased a lightly used MDX from Jackson Acura. The entire experience from beginning to end was the worst I've ever had at any dealership. They were lucky - the only reason I purchased a vehicle from them was because they just happened to have the car I was looking for in the colors I wanted and at a slightly used price that no one else had. The first time I stopped in, no one greeted us and we just looked around. I wanted to test drive and the salesman (I won't name) just sat in the back the entire ride. He only offered information if we asked. Otherwise, he was on his cell phone and actually took a personal call! After we finished, he let us look at it and said, "OK thanks". He could take it or leave it. We agreed not to buy from them. However, when they received the used car I had been wanting, I decided to give them one more chance. We came in, this time the same salesperson a little more friendly but still the same attitude. When I came in a few days later, check in hand to pay CASH, the guy my salesperson referred me to wasn't there. We walked into another guy's office and he just sat there and said, "Yeah?" I said I was there to pay for the vehicle. He said, "OK...? And....?" I made a face and said the man I was looking for wasn't in yet. He said, "I guess I'll do it then." Now I should have just turned and walked out. Seriously?!? We finally finished, they didn't ask me anything or say thank you, and handed me the keys. I will NOT get serviced there in the future!!

When I called to talk to the internet sales manager, Paul, he was friendly and candid with me. He immediately gave me his best price on a 2014 MDX I had seen online. He was very straightforward. There was no haggling. When he knew I was going to have to travel 120 miles to come pick up the car he offered me gas and some price matching to compensate for my drive. He even called me prior to the purchase to let me know the dealership was having a sale running that weekend to offer the reduced sales price! That was exceptional service. I would definitely purchase a car from him. He was very easy and prompt to work with.

OMG!! Let me tell you these guys were the best!! I found the car I wanted by way of their website. Paul emailed me right back and answered all my questions. Oh this was on a Thursday night around 11 pm. I thought I would get a response the next day at least. But Paul answered that night. We drove up to Roswell on a Saturday and the car was ready. We just finalized the paperwork, Paul went over the car with me and we finished up with Jim. Who by the way has a good stash of candy. Wait did I tell you that we drove 2 1/2 hours to get this car? We have an Acura dealer right here in town but they weren't that interested in making the numbers right. But Jackson Acura did. They not only care about selling cars but they care about the buyers needs also. One of the questions above is would I recommend this dealership. YES!!! It is well worth it. I recently traded my 2007 MDX for a 2014 RDX and I chose to deal with Jackson Acura in Roswell because of the service I have received over the years , principally from Nick Covino , my service rep .When I bought the RDX I dealt with Clarke McDaniel who was very professional and did not employ high pressure tactics to sell a car .When the sale was completed, Clarke introduced me to Paul Silverman who assisted in orienting me to the new car . I'm in the Military, and i came to Jackson Acura to purchase my dream car. There were some mechanical issues that they claimed to have fixed. Two weeks later I had issues with my suspension. I brought it back, a 2hr drive to have the service manager tell me that air suspension systems are not covered in their suspension warranty policy. Now I have to pay almost 1.5k to fix it. Thank you Jackson Acura for killing my dream. Its a shame to think this is the type of behavior and individuals I fight for overseas.

This is about the best car buying experience I have had since my first car I bought when I was a teenager.My daughter called me crying this past Christmas Eve that she had been in an accident. My first question was are you okay. Where are you and immediately I was on the way to Fayetteville. Her car was beyond repair and already loaded on the rollback headed to the garage.I got home and had to find another car for her to drive. Send an e-mail inquiry on availability of this car late on Dec. 24th.December 26th, I a got a call from Clarke McDaniel a used car salesman with Jackson Acura. Within a matter of minutes he answered every question I had about this car even describing the scratch and missing 'H' emblem in the trunk door lock area with a picture to our cell phone.We made a deal over the phone!! I recently purchased a 2010 Acura Tsx (December 19, 2013) and the sales representative Clark MCDaniels was very helpful, friendly, and patient, and listened to me and what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend. He thoroughly explained all the paperwork I was signing and the financing process although I had my own financing. My car was certified which included additional benefits and Clark McDaniels made sure all that I received all my paperwork showing what the certification included. He made sure I had a full tank of gas, and cleaned the interior,,a car wash, a new set of floor mats and took care of the emission of the car prior to me picking it up. I was taken on a tour in the showroom, parts and service department. Another sales representative Chege Maina thoroughly explained to me the blue tooth, xm radio, and voice linkage in the vehicle until I was comfortable. Mike in the Financing Department was very thorough and efficient in completing the final sale of the car.I loved that Clark McDaniels was never pushy or demanding in me making a decision with the purchase. I am very pleased with the service I received. I would without hesitation return to purchase my next vehicle. His salesmanship was a welcome relief from the sales tactics used by the salesmen at the other dealerships I'd visited. He allowed me to browse without standing over my shoulder, to test drive without forcing me to decide, and he gave me, what I believed, was his honest opinion about the cars I was looking to purchase. With my brother in tow, I returned 3 days later and decided to do an extended test drive on both cars. I was in the market for a new or 1-year-old used Acura RDX. I shopped my local market of Jackson, MS quite extensively and was really disappointed in the service I received by the sales team at my local dealership. So, I began researching online via Autotrader.com and stumbled upon a 1-year-old service loaner with low miles at Jackson Acura and it had the interior and exterior colors I was wanting.I initiated contact by sending an online request and got an e-mail response and phone call from Clarke within a couple of hours. It was a Saturday and they were super busy on the lot, but Clarke answered the questions I had initially, and followed up later that day when things slowed down. He gave his cell phone number and made himself available to me at any point over the next several days. By Monday, I had put a deposit down on the vehicle to hold it until the following weekend when I could make it to Roswell to get the vehicle.Upon arrival, Clarke had seen to it that the vehicle not be washed until just before my arrival so that the rain they had been having wouldn't undo their efforts at giving me the best possible first impression. The vehicle was just as described and in perfect condition. The ONLY issue was that I didn't realize until just before we pulled away was that the car had only 40% oil life remaining even though Clarke had been informed and so I was also told that it had just been changed. It would've been nice to drive away without having to deal with an oil change sometime soon.The dealership itself is a truly beautiful and state-of-the-art facility with amenities far greater than what you'd expect from a car dealership. I first met Clarke when I stopped by Jackson Acura on a whim one day. My intent was to start looking for a new/different car as mine was 9 years old and it was just time. Clarke immediately came to help me but not in a pushy way, just was curious what he could do to help. I was up front that I was starting to look - just starting - had owned an Acura in college and liked the brand. I told him I was probably 6-12 months away from purchase. At most dealerships, the sales person would have blown me off like a hot potato. First, my initial price point was not very high and secondly, I was not planning to make a quick decision. Clarke encouraged me to look around, talked to me about what I wanted and was just generally a very likable and helpful guy. He never made me feel like I was wasting his time, never made me feel like he had other/better things to do. I stopped by a few times over the course of maybe a month. During that time, I visited several dealerships around town. I drove other cars at two different dealerships in Roswell (one a well known dealership and luxury brand). Hands down, my experience with Jackson Acura and Clarke were superior to the other dealerships in every respect. Clarke was never pushy and I always felt he was honest with me. He followed up when he said he would, which was really refreshing. He offered to let me take the car home for a "real" test drive in my everyday life. He made that offer on the first car I found on his lot that I liked and I refused..that car sold the next day so the second time he offered, I took him up on it! As it came time to purchase the car, Mike got involved and we negotiated the price. Mike was professional and I think quite fair. Most importantly to me, particularly as a woman doing this solo as my husband stayed home with our son, I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. I felt both Mike and Clarke were being honest every step of the way. I actually have been trying to figure out how to write the owner of Jackson Acura to share my experience but hopefully he will read it here. I ended up purchasing a 2013 RDX with Tech Package and I love it. Great car, luxurious, comfortable...everything and more than I could want or need. As mom to a toddler and two dogs, this car is perfect - small enough to maneuver and feel sporty but big enough for a family road trip. This is a long review so if I could summarize my experience, I'd say I felt they were honest and treated me respectfully and fairly. Personally, I do not think there is much more you can ask for when going through the arduous process of buying a car. I would recommend Jackson Acura without hesitation. On May 18th the 2012 Honda CRV my husband and I were driving was in a bad accident (a roll over) and was totaled. I was looking for a white MDX on Autotrader when I found one at Jackson Acura. When I called for information I was quickly taken care of and all my questions were fully answered. I made several calls to ask questions as I thought of them. They were always gracious, particularly Arthur Melman. I put a deposit on the vehicle and unexpectedly had some family issues to tend to which pulled my attention away from the MDX for a bit. Arthur was absolutely wonderful and very patient with the many questions I had and answered them fully. If he didn't know he made sure he found out the answer or referred me to someone who could answer my questions. Because I was buying the car at a distance (I live in the midwest) and could not see it first hand before buying I had a friend in the area go see it on my behalf. They received my friend graciously and warmly and assured her that everything would be perfect for me upon my purchase. I was originally going to have it shipped but could not get it done quickly enough and so I decided to fly in to pick it up. Reggie was kind enough to come pick me up at the airport so that I would not have to take a cab to the dealership. When I arrived all the paperwork was ready and available to be signed. Great price on a great car. I noticed a problem with the braking, during the test drive. Once I purchased the Tahoe, Arthur insisted they keep it and check it out, and then loaned me a great MDX for 3 days while they shop went over whole brake system again.After I got the car, on a rainy day, I noticed that the touch paint we discussed had not been done and that the DVD player was not functional. Arthur invited me in at lunch the next day and touched up the paint and found 2 DVD's stuffed in the player. He and the shop team fixed both issues and got me on my way in time for a 2 pm meeting.Since I bough the car as-is, and the issues that were addressed were not part of the written agreement, I was concerned about the follow through on the part of Arthur and Jackson Acura. I needn't have been worried. They were faithful to our verbal agreement and went above and beyond my expectations of service.I look forward to visiting them again,when my wife is ready to by her own MDX.

I bought a 2001 325i BMW from Jackson Acura. The very next day the heater fan stopped working. By Saturday the crankcase valve blew out for $1,000. After this I went back and forth with Eric trying to get this car in shape so it could pass the Georgia State Emissions test and get registered.All the way along Eric kept giving me his shiny excuses and promised that he'd "do the right thing". I found out later that it's illegal for Jackson to have sold me this car without that inspection. I still have not decided what to do about this. I began my search for a used vehicle several weeks ago and started looking online. Found several cars of interest and ran out to test drive some to see which one would fit my budget and lifestyle. I visited several dealerships in my area. Test drove a 2008 Infiniti M35 at Nalley Infiniti, 2007 Mercedes E350 at Malones Automotive and a 2006 Acura RL at Jackson Acura. Each of these sedans had plenty of luxury and bells and whistles to satisfy any car enthusist. The sales approach at Malones Automotive and Jackson Acura was about the same. Courteuos and friendly. No pressure tactics at all. Very attentive when expressing the type of vehicle I was looking for. I felt very comfortable making a purchase at either one of these dealers. It was finally between the Mercedes E350 and the Acura RL. Each car drove great, plenty of power, very comfortable, lots of built in toys, etc.. After days of debating, I decided to go with the Acura RL. Let me tell you why. When I first met Steve Cronin I new he was someone I could trust and would handle my purchase without any surprises. He was friendly, honest and listened very carefully during my initial visit. I test drove the vehicle several times. He returned my phones calls promptly and emails too. Negotiating a price was easy and no haggling took place. He allowed me to take the vehicle to my mechanic for 15 years and all he could find was several recalls which had not been performed by Acura and the alignment which was slightly off. Which Jackson Acura took care of immediately. The car was a One owner vehicle and was also Certified by Jackson Acura. Low miles for a 2006 which came with an Acura warranty of 12Month-12,000miles and 100k Drivetrain too. Steve Cronin took care of all the paperwork, all of my requests and was very professional in his approach to selling me a pre-owned vehicle. The experience was absolutely great at Jackson Acura and it was all because of Steve Cronin and the staff at this dealership. Thanks Steve. My family enjoyed meeting you and our experience purchasing this RL was wonderful. It was by far the best we have ever experienced.

Awesome experience at Jackson Acura mostly due to our salesperson, Doug Smith. Doug is the consummate professional...knowledgeable and helpful, but he is also a really nice guy who gets along very well with people. He made this the first car buying experience that we actually enjoyed...never thought I'd say that!The dealership is great...coffee bar, internet connections, wide screen TV...but, It was Doug who really made it a breeze and is the real reason we would return!BTW...this was a pre-owned car and not one of their brand...which only makes the experience more exceptional! I think the dealership is probably ok based on my research. And my experience is only one of a test drive on a new Acura so far. However, I thought I should mention that the salesman who we dealt with was not so great. He was sufficiently professional but pretty unfriendly and cold, spoke so low it was almost a whisper, and repeatedly tried "leading" us around from spot to spot while we were busy looking at something else, which was annoying. He had the whole "I'm so super cool, I don't have to walk fast or try hard" thing going. He would give short whisper quiet answers on the drive, seemed annoyed if you deviated from his preset test course (I grew up here and know the area like the back of my hand, he's from another country), and looked bored. He also kept asking "which color" even before we had indicated if we even wanted to buy one, which is a real pet peeve. That's like discussing the wedding before you go on your first date. We agreed later it made us nervous how strange he acted. It probably put me off the Acura I was testing enough to make us hesitate to even talk price that day. We tossed his card because we both agreed if we did go back we wanted to deal with someone more pleasant. Maybe he was having a bad day, but we arrived in an upscale luxury brand car and are (lower) middle aged and well groomed, and really just got the vibe that he didn't like us too much. Not a great way to sell a car, I'd say. The dealership is beautiful, with all the upscale doo dads (coffee bar,etc) which makes me wonder how much more the cars there cost! : ) But it is convenient to the area and I would not hesitate to give it another try and hope for a better experience. Next time we may contact the internet manager. They always seem to have it together more than the guys who walk the lot. But someone there needs to do a better job of selecting sales persons. This guy had the personality of a dish rag.

First of all Paul was extremely easy to work with - the type of guy who can cut through the bull and get to the important things: price, APR and what you'll need to get with the car - for an overall picture of what you're spending. Paul is also a person that knows what he's selling inside out - and shows you everything in a way so as not to overwhelm you and give you enough info so you can use the feature and explore more as you use the car more and more. And he's a man of his word.Mike was great to work with on the financing and the add-ons you need and the ones you dont need. He's a no pressure kinda guy that laid the options out for you and told you what most people prefer to get. Traveling around Atlanta on business,I stoped by Jackson Acura where I found the service dept. to be one of the friendliest and most honest and upfront with their service process. My Acura was completed in a timely manner and they even washed it up for my all with out having an appointment. The sales person we worked with was actually great but the sales manager that was brought in to "close" the deal was horrible! He kept saying he wanted to "earn our business" but his tactic was to try to guilt us into buying a car right then and there. He practically called my husband stupid for walking away from just a great deal - he only came down $1,000 off of the list price on a $35,000 car. The facilities are beautiful and the inventory was good but I would NEVER go there again nor would I recommend Jackson Acura to any of my friends or family. We did end up buying an Acura at Ed Voyels Acura - what a difference!

Jackson is a new dealership in Roswell. It is impressive with large panes of glass, marble floors, coffee bar, etc. But, don't judge a book by its cover. This is a classic example of putting all thier effort into appearance, and very little in to employee experience. I brought my car in because the engine was running rough. After many delays and days (and no straight answers), I finally walked back to the service area to find that my cars cylinder head had been removed, because the mechacnic (and I use that term loosely) had damaged the valves while trying to diagnose the problem. Needless to say, I will never trust them with my car again. You have been warned.

This is a new, clean, and beautiful dealership. When you drive into the service bay it's like pulling up to a Marriott. There's a coffee bar and waiting area with a beautiful wall mounted big screen plasma TV. You are greeted professionally and politely. Who pays for all this -- YOU DO!!!I called ahead and received a quote for the dreaded timing belt replacement service. When I arrived I spoke to a different Service Rep. who quoted a price $200 higher. After insisting on finding the original Rep. who quoted the better price, the new Rep. relented and matched the quoted price. Let the games begin ...They were very disorganized. They couldn't find the keys for a loaner and couldn't figure out where their paperwork was being printed. It took over and hour to leave my car and get out of there. The next day they called to tell me that a CV boot was torn and that they could fix it for $370. The price seemed a little high so I asked for a better deal and they offered a 10% discount. I authorized the repair and was told the car would be ready by the end of the day. I was left a message that we needed to discuss the bill but was given no indication that the work wasn't done. Arriving before closing to pickup the car, I was told that they couldn't complete the CV replacement. The car was still on the hoist in the service area. They told me that the studs on the wheel in question where cross-threaded (a.k.a. stripped) and they couldn't remove the wheel unless I authorized an additional $300 to repair the stripped studs. WHAT A SCAM!! How can replacing a couple of stripped lugs possibly cost $300 dollars? I angrily declined the repairs to the CV joint. It's obvious at this point that I shouldn't have brought my car here for service. They themselves probably stripped the lugs with an impact wrench since the last time the wheels were rotated they were hand torqued and not likely stripped. The next day (now day 3) I picked up the vehicle and took it to Tires Plus for the CV replacement. The CV repair cost $100 less and that $300 dollar charge to repair stripped lugs was done for no charge. I will NOT use Jackson Acura again for either service or purchase of my next Acura. If you must use Acura Service I recommend Acura Carland on Satellite Blvd in Duluth, GA. They overcharge, like most dealerships do, but are competent, established, honest, and professional. I tried Jackson Acura service because it was too close to home to resist, a mistake I won't make again.
