I came to this place because my 2012 X5 was leaking oil on November 1, 2016. After 2 hours of placing my car there, the adviser call me. He informed me that the leaking problem is very terrible. Irvine BMW would need 2 days to fix it; and the cost is $2,800. I thought that was too much so I refused the repair. Irvine BMW charged me $170 for looking at my car.I brought my car to a Santa Ana shop. My car is completely fixed in one day November 2, 2016; and the price? $700.

HelloTo begin with a brief background about my selfI am a double board certiified MD in Neuropsychiatry and Sleep Medicine and also A Forensic Expert for the State of CAWe have been loyal BMW customers for over 10 years having bought more than 8 BMWs or soWe went to Irvine BMW and were greeted by a salesperson who took us to this other saleperson at the desk named MontayaThe sales person asked Montaya if he could help me, my wife and our 10 yr old, Montaya curtly replied "Why Cant you" After the other sales person explained why, he made us have a seatFrom the get go, Montaya at Irvine BMW was rude, condescending, tone of voice was irritable and made poor eye contactInitially we dismissed it off, when we asked about vehicles, I told him the two I liked and he quoted the price and mentioned "These are non negotiable prices" We had not even asked him if the prices could be bought downLong story short this behavior continued and he had someone named Peter show us one car, then we went back to himHe went to appraise our Car BMW 535i White with beige interior, Nav, rear view cam etc and in pristine condition and started talking down about the car and then demanded me "Get your registration" " Give it to me"I didnt hear any please or anything customer friendlywhen We went back in, my wife and daughter decided to stay back outside due to his behaviorHe went to his manager came back with the appraisal and threw the paper at me at which point I became assertive and said there was no reason for BMW customer service to behave this wayHe ignored and kept looking at the computer screenI requested to see his Boss, he said he will call his Manager Fred who came to me and started saying oh you are from a different country and maybe he doesnt know how to talk its unlike Montaya, I understand because I am from South AfricaI told him its not a cultural issue its a customer service issue, Fred went on to say My Teen Son behaves this way sometimes with me" I reminded Fred that Montaya was not his son nor was he a teenager at which point Fred said he was born and raised here and implied somehow this whole thing was our faultPlease give me a formal grieviance against Montaya and Manager Fred for being dismissive and making it a race and cultural barrierSincerelyDr RRC MD

Irvine BMW misrepresents needed repairs and tried to cheat me.I needed New Battery, Oil Change and Cigarette Lighter had no power. Service Advisor quoted $1400.00 for Fluid Checks; $800.00 for New Battery; and advised Thrust Bushings were leaking and needed replacement for $1800.00. I asked Advisor "What is leaking from Thrust Bushing?" Advisor said it's a "Technical Issue and needs replacement". I said "No Thanks" please do Oil Change and Service Cigarette Lighter. Wait 3 days and Advisor calls to say car is ready to be picked up. My Wife picks up car; No Oil Change, Cigarette Lighter not fixed, Battery was replaced -under warranty....? I look under car and inspected Thrust Bushings and they appear Shiny and Pristine -no leaks what so ever. I can't help but think Irvine BMW Service Advisors try to sell you anything to make a buck. In my case, Advisor quoted four-thousand dollars in repairs that were not needed. Quote for replacing "Leaking Thrust Bushing" was a lie. I'll never trust anything Irvine BMW tells me. I'll never go to Irvine BMW Again.

They are very nice and friendly when you buy or lease the car. They promise the moon and deliver nothing. And don't EVER lease a car from them. They will tell you all the things "that don't matter" when you return the lease and then they really get you when you try to return a car that looks better than the new ones in the showroom. They will get you for tires, little imperfections on the paint that was there from the factory, windshield, and everything is $400, $900, $300 for a tire with more than 3/16" depth left. I have owned and driven BMW's for 36 years, now I drive a beautiful Mercedes for the first time in my life. So much for loyalty by BMW.

I recently bought a car at your dealership. I worked with Brandon Kim from the beginning, the night I walked in and test drove a car and then in the days leading up to my buying it. Throughout he was courteous and informative and there was no hard sell, just quiet, confident responses to questions about the car and BMW product in general. When I took possession of the car, Brandon was there to help the orientation, which is not an easy thing to do. I appreciated his patience. This is my first BMW and after having had such a goo experience getting it thanks to Brandon, I'm sure the next one will be a BMW too. Thanks, Brandon.Frank D

At first my husband and I went to Irvine BMW and we couldnt find the car we want in terms of configuration, exterior and interior color. Brandon helped us for a special order. I came to the dealership needing to buy 2 cars. At first, I didn't feel like I got a lot of love from the salesmen, which is understandable because I came in without an appointment wearing a T-shirt and shorts. I asked for help, and the sales manager introduced me to Brandon Kim. Within two hours, Brandon and I agreed on a deal to buy 2 cars: M235i and X5. The primary reason I agreed to buy these 2 cars so quickly was because I felt Brandon was being honest with me and worked really hard to find the right car at the right price for me. At the end of the day, that's all a consumer can ask for, is to get a fair deal with an honest salesman.I was able to drive away with the M235i fairly soon after making the deal. But the X5 was being shipped, so I had to wait a while for it to come in. During that time, Brandon kept in touch with me on the status of the car. There was a point when the X5 seemed like it may not come in by the time he'd promised, he was willing to find ways to get me a loaner car. Fortunately, the X5 came right on time, so he didn't need to get me a loaner car, but it does show great customer service on Brandon's part.

This dealership has no consideration or concern for consumers. They just care about taking the the most money they can from unaware customers and then leaving the customer to the service department to clean them out of any money they had left over. Some of the sales guys there are incredibly deceptive and dishonest. The service center is equally bad because they try to push heavily overpriced and sometimes unnecessary services. Management is unresponsive and generally unavailable - not surprising in a shop like this. Be careful.

Terry Zwarka was great to work with, he gave us plenty of his time to explore the lot and find exactly the car we wanted. He went above and beyond to get us a good deal, matching a quote we had received from another dealership without hesitation, and even gave us his own dinner when we mentioned we we're hoping to get some food and the paperwork was taking some time. The financing at Irvine BMW was also great, giving us a better rate than any of the other dealerships we'd looked at, even taking a full percentage point off our APR for purchasing an additional coverage package that we we're already considering. (The APR reduction far out-values the added cost of the package as well, so that was a no-brainer).The dealership grounds we're very nice, especially considering that they we're undergoing remodeling. It was one of the nicest dealerships I've been to, including other luxury car brands, and after they are done remodeling I can only imagine it will be even better.

I went to this Irvine BMW to return my lease and lease another BMW from them. During the negotiation the sales person Maz was very rude to me and was very deceptive in offering me a deal. He kept suggesting loaner vehicles to me which I thought were new cars. They also tried cornering me into leasing from them by saying I could only lease my car from Irvine BMW because "they put the paperwork in already" after hearing that i quickly left the dealership. They are not honest, beware of them trying to sell you their loaners and deceptive sales practices. Horrible experience, I do not recommend going to them. In my opinion the answer to that question is "ABSOLUTELY". Went to by a car in December and all was okay until I agreed on a deal. After that everybody from sales to finace to management went into slimy used car salesman mode. After a 2+ hour wait, during which our salesman and seemingly everybody in the dealership disappeared, to see a finace person we had every slimy sales tactic thrown at us from the bait and switch to the hard sell for paint sealant. After 5 hours at the dealership we were sent on our way with a cursory introduction to the car during which lies were revealed about satellite radio and other things promised during the sale. Several attempts to contact the GM or sales manager about the issues that came were completely ignored. I am sorry but I thoight I was buying a BMW, a luxury car. This place treats customers like they are drunk sailors on leave who they can take advantage of. Run, don't walk away from this place.

I got even worse service in the loaner car department. If time is not an issue, you have hours to kill and have very low standards, you wont mind taking your car here for service. My car has the extended warranty and the service consultant Justin Slogar kept arguing with me that I have no extended warranty but finding out after 45 minutes that he entered the wrong Vin number "go figure". I got the service papers and the rental request to which is covered under my extended warranty. I went to get my rental and I gave them my insurance ,driver license and credit card. The person at the rental desk tells me that I'm restricted from the rental and this needs a manager approval and he told me the manager is out now and should be back in 10 minutes. I waited almost one hour and 15 minutes for he majesty to get back . The person at the rental calls me to go at see the service manager Jose Fernandes. I went to his office and I asked him what seems to be the problem and why I am restricted from getting my rental . He would not explain why and kept telling me you are restricted with a bad attitude and hand gestures, then he asked me to leave his office cause he does not want to help me.I bought from this dealership two BMW in 2011 and do you think I will be back ,NO"I believe someone at this dealership should look into Jose fernandes attitude and teach him service manners and etiquette to how to deal with customers . Irvine BMW = CROOKS Let me start off by saying that I have never written an online review before, ever. However, the disaster that is Irvine BMW pushed me to write this.I purchased a pre-owned BMW M5 a few weeks ago. I went ahead and purchased from a main dealer expecting a car that has been properly inspected prior to my purchase. Boy, was I wrong! This car was purchased as a second/weekend car and I expected it to be without defects. At the very least they should have been identified prior to my purchase. The first time I drove the car at night I noticed the headlights pointing down. Also, noticed an oil leak in my garage. Furthermore, the car was making a high pitched whining noise from the engine on cold start in the morning.I took the car to Crevier BMW to get it inspected. Mind you at this point I had put only about 100 miles on the car myself. Crevier inspected the car and did confirm my concerns. The car has a broken engine oil cooler, broken headlight level sensor, broken thrust arm bushings, and defective a/c tensioner. Roughly $3,500 in repairs. It is absolutely disgraceful, that they would sell a car with such defects, especially the headlight level sensor and bad thrust arm bushings. These are safety items!!!Armed with this information, I took the car back to Irvine BMW to hopefully get these issues addressed. The car was there a few days until I got a call from their service manager, Jose. Jose basically denied any fault on their part and insinuated that I must have hit something to cause the damage. He basically called me a liar. This guy has the absolutely worst customer service skills of any manager I have ever dealt with.Meanwhile, I also called the manager of their used car sales, Brian Anderson, and did not receive a phone call back. I also called the General Manager, Howie, and did not receive a call back. I guess they were too busy bending over the next sucker. This experience has really put a bad taste in my mouth. The fact that they had no interest in helping my really shows their character. They definitely lost a customer for life.To add insult to injury, when I was picking up my car I overheard a lady complaining that it has been over an hour since the service porter told he would bring her car up.In conclusion, Irvine BMW did not properly inspect a car that they put on their lot and misrepresented it as a car without issues. They had no interest in making things right with me after I discovered the preexisting issues with the car. I would highly suggest that anyone interested in purchasing a pre-owned BMW, avoid this dealership like the plague.

My brand new BMW has about 4k miles on it and the "drive train malfunction" light came on and the car was undrivable. Called Irvine BMW, since that is where we had bought our three cars, and service lady rudely said they were just too busy and to perhaps call back the following Monday. Well now I am stuck. We called Crevier BMW and they said that a drive train malfunction has an obvious priority and immediately sent a tow truck and gave me a courtesy vehicle. Unbelievably bad service from Irvine.

I should have known that this dealership was trouble before I signed the paperwork for my car. I was warned by friends, but the salesman I was working with was a nice guy, so what could go wrong? I ordered my car exactly the way I wanted it, waited 3 months, and before I took delivery, the salesman had left the dealership. He was replaced by someone that actually told me to go somewhere else when I wasn't happy with something. Really? When the car was delivered, it had a rattle that was unacceptable to me and I stated it needed to be fixed before I took delivery of the car, and a couple hours later, it was. 8 months down the road, the rattle is back and these guys can't figure it out. Even worse, they refused to fix it and said that BMW NA told them that it was "acceptable". I'm glad they can decide these things for me! Why could it be fixed before I bought the car, but can't be fixed now? This has been the worst service I have ever had at any dealership, regardless of manufacturer. Irvine BMW doesn't care about the customer. Why do I say this? Well, they don't communicate anything to the customer. They had my car for 4 days, didn't work on it all, and didn't tell me anything. I found out when I read the service invoice that they decided what is acceptable to me saying that some cars rattle and I have to live with it. Funny the loaners don't have it, and neither did any of the other cars that I looked at. I wish I would have walked away from this dealership when I had the chance.I should have stuck with Acura since their cars are more reliable, but I loved the BMW. If you do get a BMW, do yourself a favor and go to Crevier, Sterling, or one of the many dealerships around the OC area. Don't go to these guys. I know this is a rant, but based on my experiences, they really don't deserve your, or any customer's money, so I'm doing my part to warn future customers. If my review keeps one person from going to them for a sale or service, I will be happy. Gary Temel, Rob Davis, and Jose Fernandez: thanks for nothing. Your lack of communication and concern for customer satisfaction is truly disappointing and is worth as much as I paid for this service: NOTHING.

Just to clarify my only experience with Irvine BMW was through their service department and my review is primarily focused on their service department alone. I contacted Irvine BMW for the first time to have my front brakes serviced. It was a horrible mistake. Although they seem to look a professional, serious and reliable business to deal with when you drive through the dealership, as it turned out, it was very deceiving at the end. Their service department is very disorganized, poorly trained, disoriented, and without any level of discipline or professionalism. I am surprised how the BMW manufacturer lets BMW of Irvine stay in business. They have receptionists acting as service agents! and service agents backing up their receptionists for any situation that comes through. I called on Wednesday and I was forwarded to a gentleman named Stuart to help me with my service needs. I asked him to give me a quote for the front brakes that would include brakes, rotors and labor. He gave me a quote of $580. Then 5 minutes I called back again to confirm the quote I was given, and after confirming I drove to the dealership from Riverside, thats 48 miles away! to drop my car for service and I was assigned to a service agent, Miguel, that was present when I got there. Next day, Miguel emails me to give me a final estimate for the services to render. He was quoting me double much than what I was originally quoted for. On top of that, he would tell me that my car needs brake fluid maintenance and other additional services and was trying to convince me to include them in my service. I drove back to the dealership to ask for an explanation. I met with Miguel, and he would back Stuart, trying to make me look like an idiot and to prove me wrong. Then I decided to cancel my appointment and take my car to another dealership. I asked to talk to the service manager Jose. Jose asked me who gave me the quote and when I said Stuart, he says Stuart is our receptionist and shouldnt be giving you a quote. He is not authorized to give quotes anyways he said. He offered to perform the service at the quote I was given and I refused at that point. I wouldn't trust them to touch on my car. I decided to take my car elsewhere to another BMW dealership to perform the services needed. IF I trust or recommend BMW of Irvine? Definitely not. I would never take my car at any expense to them, nor would i recommend Irvine BMW to anyone. I ended up being fooled, wasting my time, wasting my gas, driving in traffic for nothing. This has to be the ultimate worst place for service. Stay away

Based on Irvine BMW reaching out very proactively I am revising my review and upping my score dramatically. A company can have a bad day or a bad employee, but how they (and any person) responds to that incident says more about them.Irvine BMW went so far out of their way to make this right that my fear is that I am hopelessly spoiled for their regular service. It also sets a very high bar for others to meet. I won't give 5 Stars due to the original horrible pileup of the first incident, but encourage anyone else to use them and be sure to speak up if things aren't going the way you think they should. Upper management seems determined to set a high standard for service and they will help see that it is accomplished. Natalie deserves special recognition and I hope BMW Irvine gives her a big raise because she is saving their business one cranky customer at a time

Bought my first BMW here and never again. The car I sold to Irvine BMW back in Oct 2012, Toll Road Violations still goes to me. Contacted in person, faxed, emailed them... that was a joke even with management staff (Andrew - Sales Manager, Benjamin Nguyen - Business Manager). I guess when deal is done, it's done. Won't see them again. Don't expect their professional customer service. They said they strike for the best... it's the worse. Coming back here? Take relaxed medication before you go.

I had a 3 year lease on a 2010 Mercedes E550 Coupe which was soon coming to an end. I visited Crevier BMW to look at the new 6 Series 4 Door Coupe. The sales pitch went something like this "call me when you are interested."I'm not sure why someone would visit a car dealer if they weren't ready to buy a car. To me, that would be like visiting your dentist because you thought you may need a root canal, but werent ready. So I visited Irvine BMW the next day. I met Paul Bailey, Internet Sales Manager, and he told me that the great thing about BMW is that many customers like to order cars. BMW provides a vast number of options, to personalize the experience. (The only option I could get on the E550 at the time was the lane departure warning)The timing was perfect. We went through all of the options and I placed the order.Paul called me the next week to tell me the White Ash wood trim was discontinued, but they were able to override on my order and get it done.I tracked the "build" on the BMW site every few weeks and called when the car was en route to the dealer. They had the paperwork ready to go.Irvine BMW gave me more than the payoff amount on the E550 Coupe, which still had three payments left!I received a nice discount off of sticker on a brand new model, plus a nice trade in value, and the 640 was waiting for me, ready to go, right in front of the showroom. The best part is that when I arrived, everything was pretty much done. If you think of this from the dealer perspective, they are doing a high level legal transaction with a lot of money on the line, yet they know you don't want to be there all day. From my point of view, I know it is a large transaction, and I don't want to be there at all! I think two hours is pretty quick, considering all of the details involved. Irvine BMW has a new car delivery guy. That's all he does. He walked me through all of the features, helped transfer my remotes, transponders and so forth to the new car. When my plates arrive in the mail in a few weeks, they are going to install them (including the front plate, which thanks to the State of CA requires someone to puncture a perfectly beautiful front bumper skin). At that time the same new car delivery guy will make sure I learned how everything works and the things setup according to my preferences (I've decided to install an iPod in the glove box rather than download everything) also are working well and am okay with my choices. The dealership is modern and clean with nice waiting areas, without being a museum. I dont think they have an espresso guy or a putting green, which leads me to believe they are more set up to get to the deal without taking all day, finding ways to keep you entertained, and justifying a higher margin. Irvine BMW feels like a comfortable pair of shoes.

At 45 I've purchased a few cars in my day, this was my first BMW. These people were great. They had a huge selection of clean, detailed cars, were polite, non pushy, and I got a great deal on a 2011 328i, and a more than fair amount for my trade-in with minimal haggling. After the sale, financing, paperwork and delivery were quick and efficient. This car is awesome. My salesperson, Patrick Murphy knew every detail about the BMW product line and I would recommend contacting him at Irvine BMW if you are looking for a great car.

In early December 2010, I brought my car in for evaluation of a steering problem that I was experiencing. After making many attempts to speak to one of the service advisors and many calls where I was left and forgotten on hold, I left several messages for the service advisors before I was able to schedule a time for the car to be seen. This was already a sign of deteriorated service at Irvine BMW. Finally, after I drop off my car, later that day, Albert the service advisor called me and told me the cost of Bushing and Control arms will be about $620. I asked Albert if all the parts (bushing and control Arms) are being replaced. He assured me that everything would be taking care of as indicated. Two weeks later, I took my car to an the independent shop for an oil change where I found out that Irvine BMW only replaced the Bushing and did not replace the Control Arms for my car. After several days and several calls, I was finally able to talk to Albert about my concern. He told me that the control arm actually did not need to be replaced! I was shocked! But I agreed to pay the $620 thinking all parts will be replaced.I raised my concerns by sending a letter to the service manager, but he never responded. I forwarded my concerns to the Dealer's General Manager twice, he never responded. Do not trust this dealership with anything! there are other places to get more honest and reliable service for your BMW than Irvine BMW.

Brought my car in for a wheel sensor and was informed they were required to do the open campaign recalls on the car. I reluctantly agreed due to horror stories about getting work done that was not explicitly called for. Got car back two days later and upon receiving the vehicle it was noticeably running roughly, drove approximately 1 mile before an SES light came on. Took car back and spoke with Ernesto the Service manager, while he seemed somewhat apolgetic he also let off the air of not really caring, Left the car with him on that Saturday morning. Monday morning the SA Brook calls and says he has a repair order and my key whats wrong. Obviously Ernesto did not care as he mentioned nothing, I go thru the whole series of issues and they get to work again on the car. Call back that night from SA and says it was the software that was not reset they reset it and everything is fine. I ask them to double check. The SA calls back next morning and states oh they had to replace another injector (now 5 out of 6 replaced) and the car if fine for now? The lack of communication and professionalism is beyond comprehension, the horror stories are true folks. Brook the SA was a nice guy but really does not know a lot about the car and Ernesto is just not very customer centric nor able to deal with conflict resolution very well. He simply wants the car to disappear via a buy back because his service department cannot fix the issues. Beware basic maintenance is fine any in depth issues go elsewhere.

None of the usual dealer games where you are quoted a very high price then try to go down. I made my offer, they worked hard and gave me the best deal possible which I was very pleased with. I made an appointment for 7am Monday morning so i could pick up my car before 10am, and dropped my car off sunday night. I was assured the car would be ready per scheduling. At 9am Monday i got a call from the advisor asking a question and he told me they had not even started on my car and it would be ready by 2pm. when i asked about a loaner he said i could wait in the line at hertz, there was nothing he could do for me to help me (i have a broken leg and was trying to avoid the HORRIBLE experience of that hertz line!!!). So i made other arrangements to get to work. At about 1:30 the service advisor called to say my car was ready - i asked about late pick up and he said no problem call the cashier before 7pm to pick up no later than 9pm. At 6:15 i called the cashier - they said no, there is no such thing as late pick up. so i asked for my service advisor who said he would have to approve it and couldn't i pick up my car in the morning, they do not like to let people have late pick ups. i am so frustrated with this dealership and their bad loaner car problem and bad communication in service that after buying THREE cars there in the last 18 months i feel that i cannot buy from them again due to their terrible service. it is really sad because their sales person (I had Terri and she is FANTASTIC) was so very good.

I was really afraid of the whole new car buying experience. I went to and called other dealerships around Southern California for several months and they gave me horrible customer service. I think Cerritos Acura was the worst, they literally told me "you don't need your parents to buy this car do you?"After calling several BMW dealerships on a Friday afternoon and getting quotes, Peter Lam was the only one who called me back after my initial conversation. He was courteous, knowledgable and patient. I walked out that night with my first new car experience and it was great. We negotiated a price match with a quote we got from a farther dealership. Was when the body had just switched so only got 1500 off a nearly 40,000 dollar car. They told us they had the car in stock that we wanted but it was off site and would need to be prepped. So we were told to come back the next day at a set time. We called to confirm the car was ready. When we got there we were ignored in the waiting area for over an hour. I finally asked to speak to a manager and the salesman working with us finally came by to tell us that the car was not there. They did not bring it up. He told us pick one off the lot and we will make it worth your time with a discount. We spent some more time picking out a different car. It had a different suspension set up. When we asked to drive it the sales person actually responded why do you want to drive it you already have a BMW and drove one already. (we had a previous model). As if he was not annoying enough, he would disappear without telling us where he was going, and when with us, would constantly ask, what about this one, whats wrong with this one. When we went back to negotiate the new discount, the guy actually took 50 dollars off the price, and then looked at me and said that worth your time. We had wasted three hours. I should have gotten up and left then, but I did not. They did not prep the car well. We had to bring it back because there were tape marks on the hood. And they lost a set of keys so we had to come back. They did not explain anything to us, basically we could not even get the key out of the ignition, since BMW had changed the ignition set up. This was our second car purchased from them and will be our last. We have bought two GM cars, a honda, a mitsubishi, an acura, and an infiniti, and this was above and beyond the worst dealership experience period. Do not go here.

Mr. Tran worked with me in his office to get everything taken care of, including adding the vehicle to my current insurance, setting up my cell phone, going over the options, warranties, etc. I did not have any problems throughout the entire transaction and drove my BMW 382i off the lot within 24 hours. They do not care about their customers, nor does it seem they want repeat customers. I will never consider going back to this dealership even to service my vehicle. During the finalization of the sale of my vehicle I inquired about the extended warranty program. I was informed by Danny W in finance that if the program had not kicked in I could cancel and receive a refund. I was completely lied too. Not only did they not provide me with any paperwork at the time of sale in regards to the extended warranty, but they are not honoring what they promised, or better said lied to me about. I ended up financing my vehicle so the sale was complete with the extended warranty, but they sold me an extended maintenance program. Now that I am moving out of the country and would like to cancel the program they are informing me there is nothing they can do. I have paid near $3,000 for a service I can never use and, "sorry there is nothing we can do". I am spreading the word about this dealership. I will never purchase anything from them nor my family, who have always been loyal BMW owners, nor my friends or anyone who asks me about my Mini Cooper. Such a disappointment. The purchase of a new car is suppose to be an exciting experience, but not at Irvine BMW. They are out to lie and cheat the customer, very disappointing.

Purchased a used, extremely low mileage 2007 non BMW vehicle for below the current market values that any American made car of this caliber would be desired by an older and somewhat experienced car trader like me. Sales staff and closing agent were all helpful and well experienced in the car business even though I felt a bit uncomfortable in a non-American made car dealership. Would I buy another car from them? yes as long as if the car was American made and designed by American US citizen.God bless USA!

Make sure that you get everything in writing and receive a copy of all documentation (i.e. warranty, credit score) that you are entitled to under the California Buyers Right law. The dealership will not volunteer this information; therefore, it is important that you request it. As far as warranty service, the dealership can be misleading and cut corners if you allow them to do so. Do not accept anything less than what you are entitled to and know your rights prior to visiting dealership.

I just bought a 2007 650i, but from a non-BMW dealership due to the amazing deal they were offering. My car only has 15,000 miles on it, so needless to say it is still under full factory warranty and still under the free factory maintenance period. So now I am on the hunt for a dealership to be loyal to for service and parts on this vehicle. Living in Orange County, Ca., it is understood that BMW's are everywhere, so naturally the dealerships are expected to be very busy. Google maps told me that Irvine BMW was closest, so I have been trying to call them for the past few days to talk to a service advisor about why I should chose their dealership. I do not mean to sound entitled, but most dealerships make upwards of 70% of their profit form service alone - therefore this should not be overlooked on the customer service side of things. Since I was repeatedly not able to get anything other than voicemail each of the 5 times I called - I began to lose faith in the dealership. If this is how they treat a potential customer, I am frightened at the though of how they would deal with an established, let alone disgruntled one. So I call one more time to let them know that I am having trouble getting through, and it dawns on me - between the impatient main receptionist, the 'too-cool-to-waste-my-time' service receptionist, and the frequent transfers to voicemail, that this place wants nothing to do with me. Well, Irvine BMW, the feeling is mutual. I just got off the phone with Sterling BMW, and they took plenty of time to talk to me about the service that they offer/loaner cars, etc. I was only made aware of this website because of the horrendous stories posted on the web about Irvine BMW's 'conflict resolution' methods. Do yourself a favor, drive a few miles further for a dealership that knows the value of customer retention.

I am a former MINI owner and have had a LOT of problems with MINI service there at Irvine MINI so I was hesitant to go over to the BMW side when thinking about getting a pre-owned3 series. On the first trip on the lot I noticed one particular sales guy avoided us completely to help a little old lady (easy sell?). I sure am glad he passed us up though because the service we got from Renzo was stellar. He was able to show us quite a few cars and once we selected the perfect one he got the price down. He also gave me a very fair value on my trade-in (after a bit of haggling which is expected). He spent quite a bit of time with us and even entertained us when we asked for a free shirt LOL.A+ for Renzo!

Terribly organized dealership! I bought a used 04 Mini there a few months ago and it was the worst car buying experience of my life. the only reason I stayed was that they had the car of my dreams there. I actually went to look at other dealerships because I couldn't deal with how incompetent they were. They gave me wrong information on several occasions and they have people there that have no idea what they are doing. Aaron the sales manager was nice and Dan was courteous but some people there were literally nasty and irresponsible. I won't name names (Alex) but I was disappointed overall by the lack of professionalism.

The service department at Irvine BMW has basically broken every rules possible for a car maintanence business. In summary, during the few times I visited for routine maintanences and repairs, they have:1) lost a part on my rare bumper;2) refused to do inspection on an apparent (visible) car malfunction, because the "on board computer reading shows no error code";3) kept the car in beyond promised schedule, without any notice;4) kept customers (not just me) waiting over 1 hour for a 5-minute shuttle, EVERYTIME;5) the service advisor "Gary" printed the receptionist's name in the "service advisor" blank on the sign-off sheet to cover his track. It is pretty clear that the service department in Irvine BMW simply does NOT want to provide service at all, and hopes everybody can just forget there is a service department there.

When I got to the dealer they said the tech could look at it in about 20 minutes. After about 15 minutes Phil said they would like to look at the car longer. I was given a loaner car for the day. That night I received a call to let me know my car was ready, with NEW sunroof, and the car was being washed. I drove down there the next morning and the car was ready. No hassles, complaints, and everyone I dealt with was very friendly.I am GLAD I gave Irvine Mini a chance after all the bad news I have read about the service dept. on this site. I purchased my used 2003 BMW Z4 at Irvine BMW 3 years ago. I love the car but the service at Irvine BMW is the worst I have ever experienced. I have had my car in for service 5 times for the same problem and it still is not fixed. I have waited as long as 25 minutes to pickup my car. I brought the car into the dealer to have the convertible top replaced. I waited 2 hours to talk to a Service Foreman who makes decisions about this type of repair. I was told that one Foreman was due at 8:00 and one was due at 8:30 so I arrived at 8:15. Neither had arrived at 10:15 and I had to leave with no explanation or apology from the dealer. Finally I left my car at the dealer for a week and when I picked it up I was told that the mechanic had damaged some parts and they were now on order. I received a card in the mail a few days ago indicating that the parts arrived and would be returned in 15 days if I did not bring the car in for the repairs. I called Friday to make an appointment and I was transferred to the service advisor's voicemail because he was on vacation til Tue. Why would they send me to his voicemail if he is on vacation?? Then I arrived at the dealer today and was going to leave my car for the repairs and was told that the technicians who work with my advisor were also on vacation til Tue and my car would have to wait til they return to have it repaired. I indicated that I needed it repaired right away and the service advisor said that he would try. Then he told me that only 2 of the 3 parts had arrived. Now, I had previously called the parts department and was told that I would be notified when all the parts had arrived. I was furious. The Service Manager was sitting right behind the service advisor and when I asked him why I would receive a card in the mail when all the parts were not available he said "Talk to the parts department". I assumed he worked for the same dealership as teh parts department. If the Service Manager had shown any concern for my situation maybe I would have been more understanding, but he obviously did not care or did not want to get involved. I know he ignored me since he was close enough to hear everything I said to the service advisor. From my point of view this dealership has no interest in retaining customers and has no concern for their customers. I strongly recommend you consider a different dealership when you buy or service your BMW.

just leased a x3 from franz in the internet dept who was a pleasure to work with. i came in prepared (having read edmunds "prices paid and buying experiences" discussions etc). he got me the lease deal i wanted ($300 over invoice plus they made $200 on the acquisition fee - ie 825 vs 625) - so they made a fair 500 on the car. worked out great - 0 down $510/mo incl tax for 24 mos in a brand new x3! in the finance dept the manager (suni) threw in floor mats ($130 value) which was very kind of him. on my trade they paid me about 1000 less than the car averaged wholesale but that was fine as i didn't want to get ripped off by carmax or deal with selling privately.a couple years ago i had a bad experience at irvine bmw turning in a lease that i got from someone else (glendale bmw - dominick there is good to work with too) because they nit picked the car to death and i ended up with a couple of penalties. i also had a bad experience getting a radiator repaired there a few years ago which i finally had to go to crevier to get fixed. i decided to give it another try because they are so close to me and since the guy at crevier didn't call me back nor did glendale bmw offer me a fair trade-in value.

I will never get my BMW repaired at Irvine BMW again! Here's the latest event: 740iL overheated and "Service Engine" light came on so I brought in the next day. I received the quote: $2100+ for the radiator hoses, rear hoses and valley plate pan. Then, they would see if the radiator, water pump and thermostat needed repair. I sensed something was wrong, so I paid $145 for their diagnosis and had my car towed to Cove Motoring in Newport Beach ($60 tow charge from Irvine BMW). Bottom line: THe mechanics at Cove ran all the pressure tests, replaced the radiator and rear hoses (valley pan plate was fine!) and charged me.....$260 (incl tax)!!!!! I am FREE!! NEver going back to Irvine BMW!!!! Here's something hilarious: I saw other cars being towed at the SAME time as mine! Anyone with half a brain will skip going to Irvine BMW and get the same service from an independent BMW mechanic for a fraction of the price. If you're in the Newport Beach area, I highly recommend Cove Motoring (talk to Ted). R. Dwells

My car lost power on northbound 73 on a Sunday late afternoon gradually coming to a complete stop. Irvine BMW was the closest dealer and so my 740iL was towed there. I left the required filled-out envelope with my key and my mandatory signature (which states the dealer has no responsibility for any vehicle left with them - what is one supposed to due at that point?). I received a call the next day from the service department stating that my fuel pump was faulty. There was no fuel pressure found but there was internal damage. I told them to "go ahead" and replace it. At 5:30 pm I received another call and was told they could not finish that day. I said that was fine because I could not make it there by 6 pm. When I picked up my vehicle the following day I was hit with a $2,051.94 bill for repairs. The fuel pump was listed as $379.90. One item listed was a "cover" for $110.01 and I still don't know what it is. There were an additional 80 miles on my odometer. And they had sold me the wrong batteries for my remote key. A few days later, I smelled a strong odor of gas and discovered my car was heavily leaking gas under the car. My roommate removed the back seat bottom and discovered a puddle of gas sitting on top of the fuel pump! The gasket had not been tightened down and the O-ring was missing. He temporarily fixed it in order to return to the dealer where it could be properly repaired. BIG MISTAKE! Mike called to say they were sorry that the O-Ring was missing and they would take care of it at no expense to me (too late). He then proceeded to tell me that the other problems we discussed that he thought could wait, can no longer wait. I asked him, "What other problems?" as we had discussed nothing else. He said there was a coolant leak, the power steering hose had a leak and the right and left valve cover gaskets needed replacing. He further stated that we had discussed these problems. I know for a fact that we did NOT discuss this. I phone my regular mechanic whom I trust and he couldn't understand how the O-Ring was missing because every fuel pump he ever opened had the O-Ring included. He also said all the "problems" were areas that would sweat and maybe they interpreted that as leaks. Upon calling Mike back he said, "Oh, not missing, the O-Ring was faulty." He couldn't get one until the next day and I would have to leave my car overnight.. or I could come and get the car and bring it back the next day. Wouldn't that mean that gas would be leaking and spilling out again. Might my car catch on fire or blow up? He offered that solution three times, obviously not concerned about the consequences or the liability it could bring to himself and the dealership. My car is still there and after reading the many negative comments about this dealership, I am VERY worried, to say the least.

I was in the market to replace my 2005 BMW 525i with a 2007 BMW 530i or a 2007 BMW X5 and like all customers have been receiving quotes from various dealerships within Southern California via the Internet. After looking through 3 different quotes, the one I received from the Internet sales manager, Sean Teaque, was one of the best and he was also the greatest in responding and answering any questions in a timely manner. I made an appointment to meet with Sean on Saturday, February 03, 2007 and I arrived at the dealership at 10:45am. Unfortunately, Sean was with another customer at the time and told me that George P. would assist me until he was available to come back and talk with me about the quotes I was interested in going over with him. To make a long story short: George was very impersonal. He could have cared less about me or the model of car that I was interested in purchasing. George never offered me to test drive anything even though I expressed interest in both vehicles. George left us cooling our heals in his cubical while he went off to get an appraisal on my trade. Never came back to check his customer?? Where is this guy???? After 25 minutes! Once he did return from obtaining the appraisal for my 525i, the first thing out of his mouth is we got a problem. The only problem to me was his low ball wholesale quote. I dont think this is a good way to begin the negotiation process with a potential customer by turning the process very negative. He did not return the title of my car to me. I finally had to insist he return it me. Accessed my BMW Lease account without my permission. After that, I was infuriated with him and just left. Not only did he waste my time, but I had just driven from Riverside to buy from your store. I have purchased many makes of cars including BMW, Mercedes and Lexus but this is by far the worst treatment I have encountered at a high-end dealership. I have also sent a letter to Damon Shelly and the GM of Irvine BMW. After reading other readers problems, I can see why neither one of them has responded to me. STAY AWAY FROM IRVINE BMW.

Last week my wife mentioned to me that the iPod adapter in her 2004 325i was not working - plugging in an iPod did not give the usual 'BMW' display, and pressing the input button gave the 'no disk' error. so she called Irvine BMW and they asked her to book it in and they would fix it.The service guy left her a message that the iPod would not work because the car had XM, but they have changed the oil for her.Well yes she has XM, but its a $50 Roady XT rather than an XM direct unit, get this - it is not connected to the radio - it uses FM to transmit the music. She relays this message to me and I am already for a fight as I am at a loss as to how this might cause the iPod adapter to stop working, I figure that this is going to be 'interesting'.She calls the service monkey - Billy - and gets his Voicemail - she leaves a 'what the heck are you talking about' type of message. Actually it was a fairly harsh message, but I digress....We get there at about 3:30 and seek out 'Billy', he says that they have changed the oil, but the iPod adapter does not work with XM. My wife points out that it has worked for many months, Billy is absolutely adamant that BMW say that the two cannot co-exist and stops short of telling her that she is stupid - but only just. Finally I step in, I point out that the XM unit is not connected to the radio and the the iPod adapter simply stopped working a week ago, he just keeps repeating that BMW say that they two cannot work together, I explain, quietly, but forcefully that he is completely wrong. He just keeps stating that XM and iPod are mutually exclusive - obviously I am not getting through to him so I raise my voice and realize that I am causing a scene asking if he understands what I am saying. He says he understands, but it is pretty obvious that he does not understand me.I explain - pretty forcefully - that the XM unit is not actually connected at all to the head unit. I actually offer to bet him $1000 that it is not connected and that it therefore does not use the same inputs as the iPod / CD Changer. He however is adamant and will not be persuaded. He then tells me that the iPod adapter in the car is not a BMW one ? (yeah thats why the iPod says 'BMW' on it and the instructions for the unit are marked BMW and in the glove box. Eventually he calls the the service tech over, this guy also re-iterates that BMW say that you cannot have both XM and an iPod. I think that this guys is about as 'technical' as my goldfish and say so.I bet this guy $10,000 that he cannot find a connection, and that the XM unit that I am using does not even go close to the CD changer inputs. It finally dawns on him that the service monkey that had written the report simply saw 'XM' and figured that it would not work - he calls the head tech. The head tech (who appears to be a smart cookie) offers to take a look, and if the unit is faulty will swap it out for me - hooray.Billy meanwhile tells my wife that she should be more descriptive on her fault definition, apparently writing 'iPod adapter broken' was insufficient and he tries to tell her that the confusion is all her fault.30 minutes later The head tech has swapped everything and it all works, apparently the unit was 'faulty' so he replaced the whole kit.I give them 1's across the board, the attitude, the 'quality of fault finding', the extreme level of aggression and arrogance from Billy was utterly uncalled for. Considering it took the head tech less time to fix it than we spent yelling at each other I can honestly say that the experience was utterly terrible. Finally, they 'washed' the car. I am not sure exactly what they used to wash it, my personal theory is that they probably used a secret combination of muddy water and wire wool. There are so many swirl marks in the paint now that it is almost criminal. The only 'good thing' was that there was no cost, except the emotional and future car detailing ones...

Terrible experience. I was in search for a 530i with premium / sports package. Having been to other BMW dealership, I was shown all kinds of neat options that was included with this package. To my best understand (as a consumer and not a bmw sales rep) that the premium / sports package included various options like Navi, 20 position adjustable seats, heated seats, dakota leather, etc..., So with the basic knowledge of this in mind, I sent and email to Irvine BMW and a shady character by the name of George Panouvic whom I corresponded back and forth with for about 3 weeks via email in regards to pricing and payments. When he finally got down to the price I wanted we set and appointment to come in to complete the transaction. Upon our visit, he stated to tell us that the all the options come with additional cost and blah blah blah. Basically what It comes down to was a big waste of my time, having sitting in traffice for about 2 hours and all they try to do was the ol' Bate and Switch tactics. Get you in and try to sell you on something cheaper. So for all you future BMW buyers, AVOID IRIVINE BMW AND ESPECIALLY AVOID THE SHADY CHARACTER BY THE NAME OF George Panouvic.

Irvine BMW has the worst sales/service experience that I have heard of. When purchasing my vehicle I was paying in cash and did not plan to haggle the price at all. For any easy customer like that one would think that the sales people would jump at the chance. Instead it was as if I was putting them out. Then after purchase, a year later the car has been in the service shop at least 4 times, and everytime it is a pain to get an appointment and find out what the actual problem is. On top of this they expect that you have other modes of transportation. No loaner cars are provided even when a brand new car is not working properly. I am very unhappy with this dealership. I also agree with previous reviews that the receptionists are very unprofessional, rude and unpolished.

We went to Irvine BMW because we had been there before and appreciated the attentive staff and their willingness to back off when we just wanted to look at their certified pre-owned Z4s. When we went over last weekend, we had a good idea what we wanted. A.Z. was our salesman, and he was intelligent, responsive, accommodating about a test drive and answering even the hard questions, and he understood our needs exactly because he asked questions of his own and remembered the answers. After we decided on the car we wanted, we enjoyed a tri-tip and salad lunch from the grill they had fired up under the portico. This gave the finance department a chance to get our file together. We were soon in Ali Vossoughi's office, where the paperwork had been fully prepared for us. Ali went over every document with us, as attentive as A.Z. to our questions and answers. In the end, we had an agreement that matched exactly what we had settled on with A.Z.Our experience with Irvine BMW was the quickest, most pleasant automotive transaction we have ever had with a car dealer. We have since had three followup calls from A.Z., one to be sure we were happy with the car, second to followup on a small repair that he had handled in 20 minutes, and the third to wish my husband a happy birthday ... he even remembered the date we had mentioned as being a special day.I would recommend this dealership in general and the two gentlemen who handled our needs in particular. There was an air of dedicated service that I have seen only at a Lexus dealership. My husband has had five Lexus models in the past 15 years, and we have always considered those dealerships to be top-flight. Well, look out, Lexus -- Irvine BMW had taken your playbook!

My husband leased a car at Irvine Bmw 3 years ago. Over a year ago, when we were looking to get married, he tried to sell his car. When his car wouldn't sell he decided to look on carfax and found out that there was odometer fraud on his car. He immediately looked into it and foundout that it was like that due to a clerical error by BMW. He walked into Irvine BMW to talk to the GM and was given the run around for over 3 hours. He was told that the Gm was not there and the used car manager wasn't either, then as he was leaving, he saw them both leave for lunch. He contacted Irvine BMW by phone and they blamed the DMV even though we had proof that it was their error. They told him not to do anything and they would fix the problem. Well, they never did anything and he had to get a lawyer involved. They told our lawyer that they fixed the problem a month ago (over a year after we originally contacted them). Well, we went to trade the car in the other day and were told by the dealership that it isn't fixed and that the car is still branded. Now we have to deal with this all over again and Irvine BMW doesn't care to help! It is disgusting!!!!! NEVER NEVER do business with Irvine BMW!!!!!!!

I have been in the market for a new X5 for a while now. When I was finally ready to make the purchase I went to Irvine BMW as they are my "local" dealership. Upon walking into the showroom I noticed both receptionists were eating lunch. They looked put off by the fact that a customer was coming in and was about to disturb the meal of double cheeseburgers and fries. Judging by the way they were shoveling them in they must have been the best burgers on the planet. After standing in front of them silently for 30 seconds and wondering if I was in some bizaro world where car dealerships don't want to sell cars I asked the lady closest to me if she would call a salesman to help me out. After the eye rolling she picked up the phone receiver and proceded to dial an extension...no answer. She then said that...now get this "There is nobody available to help you." I replied "Excuse me...there is NOBODY that can help me?" Not even a 'Sorry, but have a seat and I'll keep trying' The bottom line here was that NOTHING, not even a paying customer was gonna come between her and lunch. At this point I turned around and walked out complety in shock. I would really love to know how good business is at Irvine BMW if they are turning customers away at the door. Having read a number of posts on this site I see how they treat the customer after the sale. But a pre-sale customer...heck that's the honeymoon stage. They should be schmoozing me. At least offer me the lame self-branded bottle of water while I wait for someone to become available. If you have found this site while trying to decide where to buy your next (or first) BMW please, do not give one penny of your hard earned money to Irvine BMW. It is my opinion that you will regret it.

I needed to take my car in for emergency service due to a check engine light and very rough idle. David Stosich was my service advisor, and he treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy. He worked hard to get my car taken care of in a timely manner. He was the ONLY service advisor at the dealership on the Saturday that I needed to drop off the car. He had my car back to me promptly and took care of all the warrenty paperwork without troubling me at all. David was knowledgeable and very friendly. I never would have expected such excellent service from a dealership, especially since I didn't purchase my car there.

My partner and I purchased two vehicles in July of this year. One was a new BMW X5 and the other was a certified pre-owned 330 CI.While the X5 has been great the experience and have had no problems. The 330 CI has been the complete opposite. While the car itself is actually OK I have had to deal with the following issues:At purchase we added into the contract (and made a down payment ) the prema plate option, six CD changer and the extended maintenance option. The car was left at the dealer to install the options mentioned. The next day , we were notified the warranty was offered to us in error and BMW would not honor it. After a short discussion with the GM we let it go and they ended up paying for the perma plate option. In addition the prema plate was not done but by mistake they installed a security system. A week later they finally got it right and took possession of the car.Since that time I have exoperienced the following:IRVINE BMW kept the check for the first payment in lieu of sending it to BMW Financial. They then denied it was cashed by them and spent the next two weeks proving them wrong.ALL four rims started peeling. When we showed the pre owned manager he agreed to repair them and asked us to kleave the car and they would repair them. The car was dropped off for repairs and three days later ratjher than picking up the car repaired, they accused us of causing the damage to the rims and refused to do a thing. three days later and 12 different individuals looking into the situation they agreed to repair them.As of today 11/15 the registration on this vehicle is still not submitted to the DMV. BMW called and said they overlooked this by mistake. This was after bringing the car in to get the smog certificate done which they did not complete and apparently the paperwork was returned. Meanwhile we are driving a car that is not registered, has expired tabs and they won't return my phone calls. From the the local Irvine BMW management to BMW North America no one returns phone calls or e-mails. Only when we physically go into the dealer and demand to see the manager do we talk to someone and even then it is all BS! They are completely inept at resolving any situation and it will most likely fall us to take more time out of our schedules to get this resolved at the DMV ourselves.

On Saturday night, my brother was driving his 2003 M3 on Culver Drive when the car suddenly lost power and ABS lights started to flash. This is the third time his car has had issues (but that is a whole different story)!Anyways, my boyfriend and I went with my brother on Sunday morning to drop his car off for service. We pulled into the service area and there was a man helping out some customers. He said to go inside and speak with the receptionist since the service department was closed. When we went inside, there were two receptionists sitting behind the counter with their homework spread out. Neither one once smiled or stood up from her seat to greet us. My brother explained the problem with the car and asked what to do. One girl handed over a blank Irvine BMW letter sized envelope and said to write his information on it and proceeded to continue to read her Chemistry book. He had to ask what information they needed and what is going to happen to the car. Only then did she say what the process was. The very least she could do is close her book! In the meantime, my boyfriend was checking out the new M5 when a saleswoman quickly approached him and said, "Want to wrap this one up?". Amazing how quickly she was there to help when we were looking at a new car. Where is the service AFTER you bought the car??As we were leaving, we saw two salesmen standing outside. My brother started to complain about his experience inside with the receptionists. The asian sales guy kept on referring to my brother as "Bro" and "Man". He said, "Hey Man, I feel ya. I'm here just trying to get a date". What is that supposed to mean?? We were livid when we left. Neither salesmen said anything meaningful to help us, but instead made the situation worse. Irvine BMW seems to give great service when you are in the market for a new car. After you have the car, they could care less about your problems as they obviously have better things to worry about, such as their Chemistry homework and getting dates!! Very unprofessional and unexpected especially coming from a high-end name like BMW. Do NOT go to Irvine BMW!!!

In late 2003 I was in the market for a 5 series BMW. Understanding that there will be a new design out in 2004, Crevier told me that there will be a 4-5000 dollars discount for the 2003 model if I wanted to stick with that look. Being a smart shopper, I went to Irvine BMW to shop around before I put my money down (I want to shop at least two or three before, I know that I am getting the best deal). Little did I know that when I walked in my sales rep. John (did not remember the last name) asked me how much do I want to pay for the car from the sticker price (??When do you ever pay sticker plus for a car??), then I told him that Crevier BMW and Edmund informed everyone that on a 2003 model that there is a 4-5000 dollars discount program offered by BMW USA. He then proceed to the manager's office and didn't came back until 20 minutes later and told me that they are liying and they will get into trouble by doing so, that he will never do business with Crevier. ????? I walked out of that dealer and know that I will never returned there again, because I would not buy a car from a dealer that gives no discount and charges extra from sitcker for standard option. Will surely enough when I was in Crevier BMW to purchase my next 5 series, I saw that guy John from Irvine BMW there to do inventory trade (Gee, I thgouth that you don't like Crevier BMW and will never be there). Please people, don't ever go to Irvine BMW I have another horrifying story to tell.

We went into the Irvine BMW dealership on May 29th. Finally after walking around for 15 minutes, someone came out with a smile. He didn't have any clue if he could get a 325i that we were looking for, so he asked his manager.

This "Manager" out of the blue, said that this is how all of the cars come since there is a lot of money in Orange County...... that we should try Riverside because it is much hotter out there and we may find what we are looking for there. What the temperature had anything to do with the car is beyond me. He politely refused to go inside and search their database.

Based on his recommendation, we proceeded to Riverside. Randy Halcomb was very professional and moreover determined to assist with our needs. He gave us a great deal. I recommend Riverside BMW and would purchase a vehicle in the future.

Insurance repair for a vandalized (broken) driver side window. Took two weeks to fix. When I received my car back it had a dent in the top of the trunk and multiple scratches on the driver side door. When I aske them to buff out the scratches they tried to charge me $150 for a detail. The dent I have to live with because there is no proof they did it. But I am sure it happened while the car was at their facility. Also the inside door panel was not attached properly and was rattling. When I brought this too their attention, they tried to blame me. Overall, I think this dealer treats you as if they are doing you a favor for helping you. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my friends or family. They treat you like they don't want your business... so that's why I go elsewhere even though they are closer to me. They have a beautiful facility, but don't let the quality of the building be a substitute for the quality of individual that they hire.

Came in with a price match. The sales person checked with someone and said it wasnt a problem. Ask me when I was ready to buy. I told him right now. Then he told me that they were super busy and asked if I could come back the next day. I said "sure", in fact I really did (because i was in the area again). Ralph handed me over to a finance manager who told me that they couldnt match the deal. Sorry Damon Shelly, guess you missed out on this sale. Ended up getting my car at New Century the following weekend.

They tried to sell me a 7 series that had been bought back because of software problems. When I asked to see the service records, they told me that the service department was closed until Monday. After three hours of waiting they tried to sneak in a sign and release document stating that the car had been repurchased from a disatisfied customer. Be careful in dealing with this group.

Arrogance! I arranged for my friend to drive an M3 on a Saturday with this guy's assistant. When they arrived, the assistant had already left for the day and Mike Sawtelle told them that no arrangements had been made for them to drive the car. He then proceeded to tell them that they don't just let anyone drive the M3 and that especially high school kids come in to drive the car. He belittled to make them feel inadequate to drive the car. Now they are in their mid thirties, he is an architect and she is a corporate attorney. They are hardly inadequate or incapable. This experience sent them right to the Infiniti dealership where they bought a G35. Unfortunately the arrogance displayed by the dealers translates to the product, which is a grave injustice to the manufacturer and the product itself. If anyone is going to buy a BMW, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!

They have good inventory, but the sales department is arrogant. They made several mistakes when trying to do my financing. They didn't give me a good deal on the trade in. The front light was fractured and the bumper scuffed but I didn't notice until I got home - I heard nothing on the way home so I must assume it occured at the dealer. They didn't accept responsibility even when I reminded them they didn't go over the car with me in good lighting. I was left standing for 10 minutes on several occasions. Often for the sales person to greet new customers walking in.

Brought a 325ci there to fix a rattle in the subwoofer of the HK system. It took them 3 tries and 2 loaners to fix it. On the third try, the GM gave us an attitude for bringing it there, even asked us "where did you buy your car? oh that other BMW dealership? Why didn't you just bring it in there to fix it?" When I went to another dealer and asked about irvine BMW, people just say they hire a lot of cheaper under qualified mechanics. Which explains the fact that they can't insert a piece of foam properly to make the sub deck top rattling and after 10 days worth of rentals.

Their sales is nothing to be desired either. A bunch of arrogant people who think my younger age could not afford to drive a bmw... I ended up buying one elsewhere.
