I've purchased four cars here now. My salesman Rachid was amazing. Right away we r for the best deal overshot the package I wanted and promised for the price e I was looking for. One trip to the manager aND we made a deal. I got a great deal with a better car than I tht I'd get. Anthony the manager made it all happen. A handshake sealed the deal. Not only did they give me what in asked for but went above and beyond, got me the best car for my dollar and made the deal happen in less than an hour. Guys know exactly the car one needs to go for.

As someone who has moved into US recently these guys knew exactly how to deal with such a situation. Not just sorting out the financing part, they were able to provide the right car options for us. We finally chose the new Elantra Limited Tech model. Again a special note for Iggi, who helped out in showing various models. He explained the features, the good n bad about each car which was very helpful in our decision making. Finally we got a car with all the top tech features, high fuel efficiency and economical.

Leasing 2016 Veloster

Salesperson was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Once you get passed the typical experience of the back and forth on price, everything went smoothly from that point. Salesperson even handled getting my insurance coverage directly with my carrier. He has since followed up with me for my second key and to see how I liked the car and if I had any questions.

Best Experience Ever

Today I went out with the intention of gathering information about different all-wheel drive vehicles as my car lease had only 2 months left on it and I was unsure of which vehicle I wanted to lease next. I visited 4 different dealerships before arriving at Hyundai of Paramus. I was instantly greeted by Lloyd Tomlinson from their sales team. He was friendly, informative, and not the least bit pushy. He only showed me vehicles in my price range which I liked. I had no intention of signing any documents today as I told Lloyd until his manager, James Cavuoto came over and made me a "deal I could not refuse". I had been to 4 dealerships before Hyundai and not one of them even came close to the price that I was given on my Hyundai Tucson. After I made my decision, Lloyd quickly went into action to get me out in a timely manner. Hyundai of Paramus may have just gotten themselves a lifetime customer. Excellent Experience Buying a Certified Pre-owned Hyundai

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Hyundai from this dealership. Iggi was my salesman and he was a true gentleman and very professional in his very calming and reassuring sales approach. He worked with his management to make the car affordable as I was coming in with no trade-in as my last car was totaled in an accident. Iggi arranged for an additional key fob that was missing , as well as, making sure that I got a regular spare tire and jack with the car. Everything he promised was delivered and I am very grateful to Iggi and the sales management at this dealership for keeping their word. I met Iggi at the dealership by chance after coming in from an Internet posting of the car I purchased and randomly met Iggi. Coincidentally, and unbeknown to me. my brother leased two Hyundai cars from Iggi and had nothing but the highest praise for him. I am normally very leary when it comes to working with large highway car dealerships but I recommend you work with Iggi if you need to purchase or lease a car as he is an honorable man who truly wants to make certain that his customer are happy with their new cars and the Paramus Hyundai dealership experience.

Best,most accommodating dealership Ever experience

This is the sixth car I've purchased so it's safe to say I've dealt with all kinds of dealers and dealerships. I can't say enough good things about this place. The sales man Jefferson was fantastic and it didn't feel in anyway that I was being pressured to buy. The manager James Cavuto was also super congenial. They both listened to my needs what I wanted to pay and got me into a beautiful 2017 Elantra Eco in no time (and the colour I wanted!!)...never once were a whole bunch of numbers thrown at me or tacked on before closing. They really came through for me and I intend on recommending them and heir services to every I know looking for a new vehicle.

NO Followup- Empty promises

This is the 2nd car I leased from Rt4 Hyundai - but it will be my last. In February I went to look at the new cars as my lease was coming due in May. I ended up loving the new Sonata Sport, they gave me a good deal and paid off the rest of my lease. What they did not do was send the APM reward program form to Hyundai Finance (which shows I have leased a new Hyundai) in April I receive a bill for over 2000.00 from Hyundai Finance for EARLY TERMINATION OF LEASE. I went back to my salesperson and he looked into it and realized that the finance people at the dealership never sent it - so it was sent. In August I received a Collection Letter that I was put into collections for failing to pay. I went back to the dealership with steam coming out of my ears - I was told they will resend it and take care of it, I demanded a copy. I went home wrote a fax and sent myself to Hyundai Finance the APP form, a copy of my new registration and a letter of explanation. I think it is all taken care of. Then I get a call from the collection agency telling me that the money I owe has been reduce by 2000.00 but I still owe for the wear and tear of 402.00, The bill I received from Hyundai Finance "explanation" was for Early termination nowhere did it say wear and tear. I was only informed of the wear and tear charge from the Collection Agency. And I was placed into collections for the 402.00. drove out of the dealership with my 2016 car in February and in August I am getting notification that I was placed into collections at no fault of my own.

Good place to get your car

The dealership is friendly and efficient. This is the second car I have gotten from them, and obviously would not have come back if I had been dissatisfied. A very good service department - they work with the customer, are efficient and do a good job overall.

No Follow Through...

We purchased a 2016 Elantra for my daughter about 4 weeks. I was waiting on getting everything the dealership owed us before leaving our review. The transaction went as expected, we relatively got what we came looking for. The sales rep Rey was amicable, his managers were typical car salesmen (a lot of talk, little follow through). And this was the recurring theme with our experience. The car was presented to us in satisfactory condition (washed and vacuumed). However, it was missing a second set of keys and an owners manual which took weeks for us to get and that was only after numerous calls and follow ups with the rep and dealership. Also, the daytime receptionist needs classes in etiquette. After all she is the first line of exposure a new customer has with the dealership and that experience should be a friendly and welcoming one. Overall, I don't think I'll recommend this dealership. I expected a warm, friendly as most of all responsive team of people. What we got were a bunch of rank amateurs just trying to do deals and move onto the next.

I had questions and concerns regarding my new vehicle after I took it home. My dealer, James Velez was/is impossible to reach. He gave me his business card, I tried reaching out to him on all numbers provided, to no avail. I even tried the email address... Never replied. I called the dealership, Route 4 Paramus Hyundai, left 5 messages for him.. Not one call back. When my registration came in, he was with other customers. Another employee put the plates on my car. He didn't even take 2 minutes to come greet me or check to make sure I was being taken care of. While making a sale, he seems like he's very concerned about his customers and their satisfaction. Once the deal is done and he's made his sale, it seems like he cannot be bothered. Bad customer service.

We have been in the market for a while now, and had visited all the dealerships on Route 17, in search of the perfect car for myself, and my husband. We walked into Hyundai of Paramus, not intending to go home with a vehicle until we had evaluated all of our options. We met with Eddy, who took his time with us, even though it was half an hour before close. We took a test drive, and without making us feel rushed, went through all the numbers with us. The deal was so fantastic, that we left with the car the same night :) Eddy the sales person, and the GM Jesse, were absolute gems. We took home THE car for us, and we are LOVING our purchase.

New Sonata

A few years ago my uncle bought a car from Paramus Hyundai. My wife and I requested the same salesman, Bryan Gombocz because he was so professional and we felt no sales pressure from him. Bryan made us feel comfortable and gave us options we were able to afford. Hyundai should be proud to have an employee like Bryan. He is the BEST! Worst ever

Still have an unresolved dent in my brand new car, the finance guy slipped in an additional 2500$ so called extra wear and tear coverage. Also came in to get my plates and the receptionist must have thought I was invincible she had a full 15 min conversation laughing and giggling about personal things as I was standing there then proceeded to say I'll see you later hung up and checked her cell phone messages as I was standing there still waiting like I didn't exist

My experience

Although I love the vehicle I purchased, I am overall disappointed with the customer service aspect of my purchase. I was made false promises (regarding the waiving of my last 2 payments on my previous lease). I was never informed that I was to cancel my autopay so that I wouldn't get my previous lease terms automatically deducted. When I followed up, I was told a check would be cut to me for the last 2 months payments. It has been well over 3 weeks, with still no check in the mail. Lastly, I had an agreement with the salesperson that stated I would pay $1500 down total (including all fees & etc). Upon meeting with finance team, I was told I had to pay an additional $380 on top of my already agreed upon $1500. This was never explained to me, and when I asked the Finance person why I was being charged this additional fee - he said this is standard payment always required with no further explanation. Lack of follow-up from both my sales person and calls unanswered from the finance team, just made my overall purchase feel unsettled. I can not say I would refer anyone to this type of service, and in 3 years I probably will not be renewing another lease with this dealership (which is a complete contrast given my first lease, and is why I decided to renew in the first place).

Dont shop at rt 4 paramus hyundai

One of 2 receptionist attitude is horrible. She needs a class in customer service. Leave messages for sales rep over and over because issue with car we bought. No return phone calls. Zero help from management. I wouldn't recommend to someone I don't like. All and all a horrible let down and will probably not buy hyundai again because of this dealer

Hyundai Sante Fe Vehicle Family Car

horrible experience

this dealership ripped me off for about 500 dollars in taxes and DMV fees I was not responsible for. Buyer beware. They will tAKE your money up front, make a mistake and use your money to pay for their DMV mistake.

Overall we had a great experience. There was some confusion regarding the mileage we initial spoke about but the dealership worked with us and gave us what we were promised. The only reason I gave a good verses an excellent review was because they couldn't locate the paperwork we initially wrote up the quote on.

Bluelink was not working form begning

My bluelink features did not work from the begining. Car was not tested properly at manufacturer as well as dealer side. It also had two recall before i purcahsed car but they did not fix it before handing over to me. Edi(salesman) was helpful to all the way.He did everything in his power to make thing rights but upper management and service department made it worse. He made attempts to resolve issue with the bluelink but neither service department know how to resolve it nor people at bluelink tech supports know what they are doing.

My experience here was fantastic and my sales employee got me to exactly the price I was looking for! Once I agreed with the offer and car, the process went quickly and I left that night with my new car!

Over $1,000 for brake pads and brake fluid flush.NO THANKS!!

If you think paying over $1,000 for a brake job is a fair price, then this place is for you. The job only included front & rear pads and a brake fluid flush. Rotors and calipers are NOT included in the job. Are they INSANE??? Once I refused the service they wanted to offer to do the job for 25% off (still over $700). First, if they can offer me 25% off then why not charge that price from the start. Very Shady pricing and WAY over priced even with their so-called discount. I guess they like making their money off the uninformed. I know how much brake pads and fluid costs and I know how long it takes to perform a brake job but I guess they are hoping you do not. I will never have them service my car again. Even if I need any future warranty work, I will take it to another Hyundai dealer.

My best interests

After spending a few days pricing this vehicle through "leasing brokers", I thought I was going to lease the vehicle through one of them. Then I walked into Paramus Hyundai with a few questions about the Genesis, and found a staff that definitely made me feel that they had MY best interests in mind. I walked out very satisfied and not questioning whether I was treated fairly or taken advantage of. I felt that I got a great deal and very satisfied.

As a young car buyer, I was very hesitant to purchase a car, but the entire staff at Hyundai of Paramus made me feel very comfortable and confident in my decision throughout the whole process. We have been a customer of Hyundai of Paramus for several years. We are on our fourth lease.
