I live 200 miles away and, literally, pass 5 other dealers to get to Jefferson City. that should tell you all you need to know. On two of my purchases, I was physically unable to visit the showroom to take delivery. In both cases, they delivered the car to me - full of gas and freshly cleaned. Superior service. The overall experience and process was fairly smooth and relatively painless. The only this is that I thought the %APR should have been better for my deal. Toyota offered me a 0% APR for 72 months with $1000 down on a new prius-c. The lowest I was able to get at Hyundai was 3.5% fpr 72 months and that was with a $3500 trade in. The only reason I got a hyundai was because the vehicle drove more smoothly and had more get-up-and-go. I also do not like getting calls for surveys or emails for surveys. Usually because it's trying to either figure out a way to pressure you into a car or find a way to harass you via email and regular mail about their products. The salesperson I worked with understood me and my preferences on things and presented information to me in a way I appreciated. Also, she found me the car I wanted to look at (in the lot behind the dealership that isn't open to everyone) instead of trying to sell me a car I didn't want because there wasn't one readily on the front lot.

I went to another dealership and came away with the feeling because I was female that I couldn't buy a car unless my husband was with me. When coming here Nathan took time to talk to me without my husband. I was politely greeted when I arrived and asked what I want to see. They presented several options to me, while never pressuring me or upselling. I was able to comfortably drive each vehicle and made my selection without any pressure from Josh the salesmen. The whole experience was excellent and I could not even negotiate the price. I felt it was below what I had intended to pay and I was able to use my choice, military and preferred owner discount on top of what the price was. Choosing to purchase a 2017 Hyundai Elantra was basically a no brainer after our experience owning a 2011 model. The sales staff that we worked with (Earnette Smith and Amanda Self) were both friendly and professional in aiding us match our needs to the car, as well as helping us get the most for our dollar. There was never any "pressure" or "hurry" to close the deal. This was one of the main reasons we returned to Hyundai in Jefferson City, MO, to purchase our new 2017 vehicle.

The dealership is very customer service oriented. They are persistent without being aggressive. The salesman met me as I pulled in. We went over my needs and what I'm looking for in a vehicle. I had the opportunity to test drive two cars. We did find a car within my budget. In terms of pricing, I should not complain. While, in hindsight, I could have worked out a better deal, what is more important is that the dealership is ready to work with the customer. If a customer does his/her homework, the dealership is ready to meet that price or come close to that price.

On 12/24/15 I went to the Kia Dealership to find the car I wanted. I went there because I had only really looked at the Kia Optima's. After test driving the Optima, I was still unsure and I test drove a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Eco and I fell in love with it. My car salesman from Kia got to come with me down to the Hyundai store, which I thought was really nice. His name is Duane Mobley and he was phenomenal to work with and he made sure I understood what was going on (I was 17 and buying my own car), even though my parents were there with me, it could get pretty confusing, but Duane made sure I got everything I wanted and if he didn't have the answer to the question I had then he would hunt down the answer for me. Nathan Hays even dropped by my salesman's table to make sure everything was going well! (I had looked at some cars with Nathan the previous Summer) Brian Mertz did my financing and he was very thorough throughout the process and explained everything as well. My dad had recently bought a truck from JM in Columbia and he said he was so impressed with how they handled my sale (because being 17 and buying a car, some people don't take you seriously and ask what the parents want because they assume the parents are buying) and that he would be purchasing from the Autoplex next time! I dropped off my azera off for service after it had thrown multiple codes. When I picked it up I experienced the same problem. The part that was replaced had not only failed but had sent a piece into the engine which was affecting the timing advance.. Devon the service writer was great and easy to work with even though I was very fraustrated. He offered to supply the labor which was a lot of hours and I would pay for the parts. I came by and saw they had my engine tore down the second time. I felt like they bent over backwards to take care of me and earn my trust. After talking with the mechanic I feel they have the customers best interest at heart and are good at what they do. Ask for Devon he will take care of you.

I researched at home for hours, found the car I wanted, which was located a little more than 3 hrs from me in Jefferson city. The salesman before I arrived said that the vehicle was in great condition, no interior spots, exterior looked great and according to the website which I assumed was accurate included the rear dvd entertainment system for my kids. When I arrived we began to talk about the features and I mentioned the rear dvd entertainment system first, and he said that it wasn't on the vehicle. And he acted like I was thinking of a different car. So I pulled up his website at his dealership and saw that it was on his website as well and he acted like he didn't believe me. So I showed him my phone and he said well that's really no ones fault. Then I finally said well lets at least look at the vehicle because I drove all this way maybe I can just get a portable one or have one installed. So I looked at the vehicle and it was in terrible shape, the leather was completely worn and cracked and not taken care of which could of been explained over the phone. It looked like a dog was in the back of the vehicle and scratched the back of the trunk. The rear back seat on the passengers side had a spot in the door that was about 3 inches wide 4 inches long where it looked like someone took a knife too it. The exterior for the most part was pretty clean a few spots here and there. And then I get the biggest news that it doesn't have the towing package and that it appears that the reason all of the stuff was missing is that the vin number was mistakenly incorrectly added. Which of course was no ones fault it was an accident. So I told him that well that was pretty much it because without the towing package the vehicle was completely useless to me. He said that he thought that a towing package could be added by them, so I said okay go check with the sales manager. Which I already knew from my research was going to be very expensive because Hyundai's towing package includes drive train upgrades, transmission intercoolers, wiring and few other things that are very expensive to add. He comes back out and tells me that he can just add a hitch. We start arguing in front of the store because I am telling him that according to other Hyundai dealers that this is not possible due to the towing capacity not being 3,500 lbs which is what I needed. he starts arguing that he wouldn't lie, blah, blah blah, and so I told him that never mind I was leaving. I left and not five minutes later he calls me confused to why I left, really! He tells me that I was confused that not only can they add the hitch on but that is because the car has the trailer prep package already on the vehicle, and that I misunderstood what we was saying. Hyundai Sante fe SE comes with an optional trailer prep package, and towing package, or nothing. The trailer prep package includes everything except for the hitch, so he could be telling the truth, but he is just now mentioning this after we were arguing the parking lot for 15 minutes that you didn't need the towing package. He said that I should call the third party that will add the hitch and see if they say the same thing that he says. I say that's fine, I will call them. I called them and then said one minute I will check. He comes back on after about 45 seconds and says yeah, we all here think we can get that done. REALLY YOU THINK, I AM GETTING READY TO SPEND 14,000 DOLLARS ON A VEHICLE AND YOU THINK YOU CAN DO IT. no thanks. So to make sure that I covered all my bases I called the Corp office line for Hyundai america at (800) 633-5151. He verified that I was correct that you needed either the trailer towing package or prep package to tow 3500 lbs on the Hyundai sante fe and that without this package it was limited to somewhere around 1500 to 2000. 2000 lbs difference could shorten your vehicle life span and put your life in danger. Don't buy from them, they are extremely untrust worthy.
