2017 car

They didn't use my income, used my fiance income. Down payment has been hard to come up with. If I had to do it all again I wouldn't have purchased the car, if I could have returned it is would..beautiful car just alot of money!

Pricing

The only thing I didn't like was the pricing. I couldn't get, just, a straight answer. I couldn't talk straight to someone. I talked to this person, then they go ask someone else. I felt like I was getting the run around. If pricing and finance was more straightforward it would be less stress and less time. Everything else was more than I expected, Everyone was great, very nice, personable, and catered to every need or want. Staff is great!

Love my Hyundai

I was just looking around that day ,I needed something more dependable and better gas mileage. My experience was great and I was treated with respect.I would definitely encourage everyone to go see Cookeville Hyundai. Mr.Glenn Zellner was very helpful and answered all my questions and was very good at explaining everything in detail about the car and the cars features.

2nd Hyundai

This is my second Hyundai Sonata purchase. The experience was very good. I was glad to see the technology part of the delivery has been slimmed down and was done by salesman instead of the dedicated person utilized in my last purchase. My salesman was very friendly, helpful and worked hard to ensure everything was taken care of-great job! Only slight negative was in signing final paperwork and reviewing insurance/maintenance packages, I felt this was a little pressuring and the finance person was not happy I did not take any of the packages. This is a personal choice that each buyer makes and although the individual may be disappointed they did not sell the add-on they need to keep that disappointment in check.

Amazing experience

My husband and I decided to just go out for the day to look at vehicles. We had been to a couple of other car dealers and I myself was not impressed with either the presentation or the prices. My husband suggested going to Cookeville and taking a look at the Hyundai dealer. I was a little apprehensive at first, but decided to go along with him, even though I was not looking to buy a new vehicle at the time. Once we arrived there, my husband went out to look at the vehicles, but I stayed in the car. I noticed he was talking to a salesperson and signaled for me to come and join him. Against my better judgment, I decided to join him and the salesman introduced himself as Eric Christiansen. He was very professional, but friendly at the same time. I was impressed with the knowledge he had about the vehicle and once we told him what we needed, he took us to see the Santa Fe. I still wasn't sure if that's what I really want it, until he suggested to take it for a test drive. I knew by the time we returned to the dealer, it was the vehicle I wanted. Eric was very instrumental in my decision to purchase the Santa Fe. He was knowledgeable, but not pushy, courteous and very professional. It was the best customer service we've had when purchasing a vehicle!

Good vehicle and experience

Good experience with dealership and sales woman. Because I have friends with Hyundai vehicles and they've been happy with their vehicles, I decided to check Consumer Reports on reviews of small SUV vehicles and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the Tuscon came in second, behind Toyota Rav4. After test driving the 1.6L turbo Tuscon, I was impressed with its' performance. It had good handling and acceleration.

good dealership only problem I have had is getting an appointment for service work since I live about 45 miles from dealer and can not get there any day which I don't want to blame dealership but they might look at extending hours on some days.

Everything met or exceeded my expectations. Hyundai is a quality product and this is my third Elantra, so there wasn't a lot of "selling" needed. BEST experience

I can NOT brag enough on Eric Deebanks! I have searched and searched for a car spending hours and hours at night on the internet trying to decide what car would be best, to deal with a dealership or to not deal with a dealership, called friends and asked their opinion and so much more. Finally, yesterday I called Eric and said please help me find a car. He asked me a few questions and said I have the car for you. I looked at it and fell in love. He showed be everything and could tell me every detail about that car. They let me test drive it that night and fell even more in love. Good experience!!! I just thought it took a little longer than necessary. Possibly could have finance guy explain a little more about the due date of payment, is there a payment book, etc. I was very tired by the end of the day! and yes, we were there six hours. I did a test drive on one vehicle, then purchased another---only change was the color: the sales person insisted I test drive this car as well, not necessary. But I did!!!!!

2017 Hyundai Elantra

The price I paid for my 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited seemed to be fair. The sales person was nice and seemed to be knowledgeable. I bought my last car at Hyundai of Cookeville.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Cookeville Hyundai for working with me despite my limited credit, and for giving me a more-than-reasonable price on a car I love to drive.

Although I have not yet actually purchased a car from this dealership, I felt compelled to comment on the terrific responsiveness I have received from it and from Eric and Jason in particular. sedan versus hatchback

I bought a hatchback accent last year and after going on an out of town trip with two other people, one being a child, we discovered that we needed something bigger. I was pleased with my new vehicle, pricing, style. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the fact I was told it's the same car, just a year newer and in the style of a sedan, but after the paperwork was all done and I went down the interstate I noticed that it wasn't just like my other car, I do not have cruise control. I didn't notice it in my test drive, considering I was told it's the same car I wasn't looking for things to be out of place. So if there is a next time I will definitely look to ensure that I am getting exactly what I want.

Great sales experience

I decided to trAde in my Silverado due to gas mileage. I put in $200 last week. I wasn't for sure what I wanted. My salesman, Clint Spivey, suggested a Sonata Hybrid. I wasn't for sure about a hybrid. Clint got me three vehicles to drive so I could see what I liked best. I ended up buying the hybrid. I set my cruise on 75 this morning. I got 40 mpg! I'm excited to see my savings from 12-15 mpg to 40. Great people! Great dealership!

The easiest new car i ever bought

This is the first new car or used car that I have bought this easy in the 30 plus years that I have been buying cars.

Greeat delaership, friendly and helpful

I visited the dealer 3 times to look at and test drive vehicles. The sales personnel and sales manager were helpful and courteous. I do not like to be pressured to make a decision. I told the salesman and manager that on my first visit and they respected that. No calls in between visits. If I had gotten any, I would not have bought a vehicle from them. Great sales staff!

Worst experience purchasing a vehicle

This was the most painful experience that I have ever went through.I was spoken too very disrespectfully by Steven Bilrey.I was told of one thing and miss lead as to who was paying off my trade in.Mr Bilrey and Shawn both told me they would pay off my vehicle and that would be close the the trade in offer voucher I had with me. The trade in voucher I found out is only a gimmick to get me in there and did not even come from the cookeville dealership.I have ask for the owner to contact me many times and he has not.I spoke to Jennifer Boles and she said if I came back I would be treated with kindness and I went back she said she would check on my. Mr maccanahey settled the deal with me and I noted his kindness and respect. Jennifer did it come back to check on my nor did she have the pay off amount for me as she stated she would on the phone prior to my having to take off work and come back. I lost 2 half days of work. I was yelled at and hung up on by Mr Bilbrey, and I was left to fin for myself at the dealership when I came back. This was not an fair deal and I hope that my new vehicle is going to be a good car. I would still like to talk with the owner about the way the deal was written to confuse customers, even Jennifer said it was confusing and she didn't understand it.I wonder when u come back for an oil change will I get the cold should, I certainly hope not.

Impressed

I had a very bad experience at a Chevy dealership in Iowa and it really made me anxious thinking about purchasing another car. Jeff made the experience pleasurable and other staff were great with my 15 month old while he was running around touching things in the lobby. Auto searching for SUV.

I was out looking for an auto on Friday, March 25, 2016 when I spotted this Toyota Highlander setting at Cookeville Hyundai. I stopped to get a closer look. There came a car salesperson and he introduced himself to me as Glen. He ask if I had any questions and what exactly did I have in mind. Finally, a test drive with him, back in the showroom. WE kept negotiating and three hrs. later, I drove the car to where my wife was and together, we decided this was the right on for us. Glen was gentleman like, very courteous, tried his very best to convince me that we could not go wrong with this Toyota Highlander.I believe he was correct! I had test driven a few auto's around the area and glad this one caught my eye.

Amazing Service

My wife and I went in to purchase our first vehicle and were greeted with excellent service and a friendly face. As the sale progressed we continued to receive excellent service. We would most definitely give it a five star.

Good and Bad of the car

I love my new Sonata, but I don't like the smart phone remote start, we have a little dog and need more than 10 minutes and need to start it every time, but sometimes it sends me a message that I need to try latter, when we are at a restaurant we need it then and every time to re start, I paid $400 dollars for a smart phone mainly to use the remote start, not happy, now looks like I will have to buy a separate remote start with a push button to manually remote start my car.

We Bought A Lemon

Our family bought a van from Hyundai and were assured it was in good condition. We were told that if there were problems they would make it right. Less than two weeks we made a call to them that it wasn't working properly and were brushed off. By day 19 it wouldn't run at all. Their response was to back out of all the promises they made and tell us we made a big boy decision and that's too bad. Part of our contact was tires at cost, and they didn't even do that. Before we bought the van they kept saying "we're a big time dealership and have a reputation to uphold. We won't sell you junk. We sell that to all the buy here pay here's you've been looking at. We'll make it right if there's a problem." Now they are downright rude and dared to say it's too late to fight it with an attorney. We'll see.

Enjoying my Tucson

"So far I am happy. Will know more after my first maintenance check up on my Tucson. Dennis who sold me the car and set things up was very help full. Brian helped out also and Jeremiah was a very helpful in the electronics department. No pun on Dennis or Brian but as they say "" see a young person for all this new age electronic equipment"" and that's where Jeremiah came in."

I don't have anything to add already told my experience on a survey thing. Overall my experience has been good only had one thing that I thought needed improvement & already told it in another survey. But I plan on being back & will tell friends & family they need to check ya'll out 1st.

Outstanding service

Eric demonstrated great ability to offer outstanding service to service members and Veterans deployed overseas. The price was straight forward and Eric was able to exceed my expectation, this is my very first Hyundai, but, with service and pricing like the one provide by Hyundai of Cookeville, I am sure I will keep the brand in mind in future purchases.

I was treated with respect and dignity. Salesperson was very helpful. I was allowed to take a vehicle home to determine if it was what I wanted. It turned out that there were things that I felt I needed that it did not have and chose a different vehicle.

NO PRESSURE

Title should say it all...the guys there are extremely courteous and friendly. NOT ONCE did I feel pressured into buying a car that I DID NOT NEED. I arrived at the dealership In Cookeville, TN and I drove away with a car that I came for. Great service first new car

My wife and I love our new Tuscon and had a great experience with Cookeville Hyundai. We got a fair trade amount from our old vehicle and were able to get everything feature wise in a new car we wanted at the monthly price we wanted. Both glen in sales and Wes in finance were both awesome to work with.

Fast Sales Service

I purchased my BMW last night at Hyundai of Cookeville from E.C. From the test drive - to the financial service and then cleaning - this was by far the shortest time I've ever been at a dealership. It normally takes 2-4 hours from start to finish- I was there less than 90 min total - That's from the test drive - the deal - financial - cleaning my new car and out the door. No sales pressure - Go see E.C. is you're looking for the best deal without the hassle of dealing with a "Used Car Salesman. He let's you buy your car - he doesn't sell it to you. Trust me when I tell you there's a difference. You tell him what deal you want and he brings it to the management - NO SALE PRESSURE - It's nice to see this.

Great Service

I really had no plans to buy a car. I was just going to start looking because my 2009 car was getting up in mileage but still looked good & was running good I wasn't in no hurry to get rid of it. I didn't think I could get a brand new car in my price range & not get less of a car. I didn't want to loose anything I already had on old car which was electric locks & windows, rear defroster & side mirrors, fog lights, in addition to that I also wanted GPS, backup camera & heated seats. Thought I look get ideas on how much I have to save up which was going to be hard I'm on disability on limited income. A salesman came up wanted to know how much I could afford not thinking they could work in that price range. At 1st he showed me cars under the price range but they didn't have what I wanted, they had less on them than my old car had on it. But when I spotted the car I wanted him & the general manager did everything they could to get me in a nice car that has everything I wanted except the GPS. And they worked with me to get it in my price range & gave me a decent price on my car for trade in value. If the car had GPS would have been perfect but it has everything else so overall I am very pleased.

Fast and Easy

After talking to Eric Deerbanks about a Trailblazer i found at they're dealership,I asked him to give me an idea of the value of my trade-in over the phone because i had to travel over an hour and a half to get to the dealership. We came in for an oil change on our 2013 Elantra and we looked around the showroom while we were waiting. We fell in love with the 2016 Tucson. Our salesman Jeremiah was very professional, very helpful, went the extra mile to help us.

I have bought several new cars over the years, but this was the best experience I have ever had. Clint was very knowledgeable and patient while I was deciding which car would be best for my needs. Clint made what is usually a stressful decision, a pleasant and fun experience. Franklin thoroughly went over all of the features of my new car, making me feel very confident on how to use the special features.
