The service was horrible. Hub City Ford kept my vehicle for 3 weeks before starting service. Upon buying the vehicle I was told that I had a warranty for the life of the loan, only to find out after 3 years that I don't. And then the part that was so called fixed isn't and the service advisor Paul Laurent said that he guaranteed that it was fixed.

First off, don't accept their suggestion to "schedule an appointment" to speed up your service.. I was told over two weeks ago when I took my vehicle that they were busy and would not be able to look at until the next day and was offed to make an "appointment". So, i did just that a week later. I dropped my vehicle off a 7am the time of my appointment.. Three days later i called for an update and was told they haven't even looked at it.. I called Friday afternoon to speak with someone about a status up date and was transferred to voice mail. Two days later i still haven't received a return call. So, my assumption of their "appointment" is only to drop your vehicle off for it to sit in the parking lot until a week later so don't fall for it! I did not send my vehicle there for a transition change, only for a tune up. furthermore, this is the second time this has happened to me with their service center.. I will NEVER use this place again, i will do my best to keep everyone I know from using HUB CITY FORD.

There's just no way to describe Hub City Fords service dept. other than a TOTAL ripoff. I brought my sons Mustang in for an oil change and to have them examine a problem of water entering the passengers side floor board. I knew it was either the condenser drain pan where the plug has a tendency to clog or the cowl where one or more of the grommets may be worn or missing. There is a service bulletin on both of these items. Service bulletins are problems that exist but are not safety related and are unwarranted for recall. In a nutshell, you pay for problems with a service bulletin whereas Ford pays for problems with a recall. To continue, Scott Toucet met and checked me in for the oil change and I requested they look at the condenser drain plug and the cowl to see if there was any problems. Mr. Toucet explained it would be a $102 Bill JUST to examine/diagnose. This would not apply to further repairs. Mind you, these are both service bulletin items. I said never mind, I'd do the diagnosis myself. Just change the oil in my sons car and let me know how many centimeters were left on the brake pads. A little while later I received a text that the car was ready. I met Mr. Toucet and he explained that the pads were below .5 centimeters ( not good) and the rotors were too worn to true up on a lathe. Folks, on your vehicles brake pads you have brake wear indicators which basically let you know that your pads need to be changed by simply making a chirping sound. If you ignore this and get to the grinding noise every time you put on your brakes, then it's too late and you'll have rotor damage. I told Mr. Toucet that I've never heard the chirping nor grinding noise so I was skeptical of his info. He continued with further bad news of the tie rods needing to be changed as well as fixing the water problem. He proceeded to hand me an estimate to fix these items for a mere $2700.00. What a heck of a guy ( insert cynicism). I paid for the oil change, took the car to Sears where I found out the brake pads were right at 2.0 centimeters (chirping would be soon letting me know to change the pads). And the rotors were at 3/16 which has plenty of room for turning (true up). While the vehicle was on the lift at Sears, I checked the tie rods myself and they were fine. I had Sears change the pads for $264.00. I'll fix the water problem on my sons car myself. I wouldn't let anyone from Hub City Ford paint my chair.

Just don't get your body work done there.

Bought a new Ford Explorer about a year and a half ago. I live in Lake Charles, but chose Hub City because I kept getting the run around at Bolton Ford in Lake Charles. Our salesman was awesome, very down to earth and friendly! He made sure we were getting every available discount and rebate available.A few months later, I had some trouble with the SYNC system in my car. against my better judgement, I brought it to Bolton in Lake Charles. "They couldnt find the problem." Go Figure! So I called and made an appointment at Hub City. Turns out there was a recall on my system, they fixed it in one day and gave me a rental while I waited.

Simply the worst service experience I have ever had. Took my truck to Hub City Ford for a simple oil change. Got the truck back with the following problems: First the oil change. When I checked to ensure the oil level was properly service, noticed the oil was pretty dirty. Bottom line they did not completely drain my oil. So a rushed crap job. On the drive home, a car pulled up along side me at a traffic light to tell me I was dragging something under my truck. Pulled over only to see my protective plate was not replaced and secured properly. So I was dragging the bottom protective plating for the engine. Again, a rush, poor quality job. Bottom line, I love my truck. On visit to that circus that Hub City calls a service department and I'm ready to ring their neck. Avoid, avoid, avoid....

I ordered a brand new Ford Fiesta from Hub City Ford in February of 2012. It came in in March, and I signed the papers March 5. While John always seemed to be busy and I never could just walk in and talk to him as someone was always in his office or he was away from his desk, he was always very nice. Over a year later I had to bring to car in because it was making a strange noise (turned out to just be a rock wedged in the suspension system, nothing wrong with the car) and he met me when and where he said he would and even remembered where I worked and asked me how my job was going. I'd asked for a loaner car and got one, albeit almost emtpy. I couldn't go anywhere but straight home from the dealership with the loaner (I usually do my shopping that evening, but couldn't because I didn't want to find myself stranded with a car out of fuel) and then straight back again, but overall, the experience was fine. Service was fine too, friendly, but wouldn't tell me when my car was going to be fixed. All I got was "we'll let you know." Ok.....will it be 2 hours, 2 days 2 weeks? How long? Nothing. Finally after wasting an entire day at the house monitoring the phone like a hawk to make sure I didn't miss it, I call him back around 415pm. He says "oh yea, the car is ready, it was just a rock." Ok....I live at least 30 minutes from this dealership and the service dept closes at 5. I found out a 2012 Ford Focus loaner car is a fast car!! I go pick it up and it had been washed and fixed. I had to re-adjust the seat as someone had moved it, but I would recommend them. I mean I understand others have had bad experiences, but I don't find this to be the case. I find them to be honest. Heck, John gave me the best deal in the area, and it was the closest dealership. I bought the car with a check, no financing, and his final price was exactly what was quoted over the phone. I seriously recommend John. Oh yea, John even took me in his personal vehicle back to my parents house, where my used car was that I was selling. I don't remember why exactly I needed a lift, but he gave me one. Top dog salesman he is! Oh yea, for someone needing a cheap, reliable FUN TO DRIVE CAR, I highly recommend the Fiesta. Guys, even my DAD, who likes big trucks, drove mine and said "now that little car is FUN to drive!" Yea, tell me about it, that's why I bought one!

In 2008 purchased a vehicle, deposit was not added in with my financing by their mistake and instead of refunding deposit it was placed in a vehicle maintaince program. When I tried to request refund due to not needing vehicle maintaince program, I could not get help from anyone, even after calling and emailing various managers to include the customer service manager. Now I am having a problem with the radio and back defrost, I take it in for service and I am told it would be almost a week before it is checked, so I make an appointment and was told after bringing the vehicle in that it would still be 2 days before the car is checked. Of course my warranty should be expiring soon, I wonder if it is in 2 days? NEVER THE LESS I WILL NEVER BUY OR BRING ANOTHER VEHICLE FOR SERVICE FROM THIS LOUSEY CAR DEALERSHIP AND SERVICE KNOW AS HUB CITY FORD IN LAFAYETTE, LA.

I went to Hub City Ford in upper Lafayette, LA. there is a dealer there that is wonderful. He greeted me with a big smile and firm handshake. He wanted to talk abou financing first. I have a very small income, do to me disabled. There is nothing out there for people like me who needs a car but is not able to fiance one. He said he would try to see what was available. He worked on this for about 3 days. He would call me whenever there was a deal that he was going try. He knows his job, and did try a lot for me. Hub City has as very good salesman there. It was an extreme pleasure dealing with him. I don't have his name, but he works in the preowned car lot. Thank u for giving me the opportunity to do this. He well deserves the praise.

Walked all the way down the lot, looked at trucks for about 15 min. Walked back to my truck & was never approached by a salesman. Ended up buying my truck from another dealer. That salesman from the other dealer still keeps in touch and makes sure everything is going ok. I was in a wreck and the dealer i bought the truck from is 3 hours away so i had the insurance company send it to Hub City for the work. They are slow! No one car answer any questions about anything; cant give you a date for anything. I got tired of waiting on my truck to get fixed so i called Hub City to see what they'd give me on trade in. Salesman told me to come up there and meet him the next day. When i got there he couldn't tell me what they'd give me for my truck. If he didn't know this idk why he told me to come up there. That was the whole point. So he said he'd figure it out and give me a call back. Never heard back from him. Day my truck was supposed to be ready I called and was told that it wasn't ready. When they washed my truck water was coming in the door? Nothing was wrong with my door when i took it to them. & I told them that i hadn't seen the taillight on the estimate a month b4. They acted surprised that the taillight was broke and they had just discovered it after having my truck for 3 months now. When 1 part was back ordered they apparently stopped working when there was much more work they could have had done. The back ordered part was a break line. That could have been put on after all the work was done. I have never heard anything good about Hub City. I talked to five people now that have all told me bad things about Hub City. For sales or service go anywhere but here. Worst ford dealership I've ever been in.

Check engine light came on, engine running very rough, brought in for service, mechanic said it was bad plug and wire. Tune up was performed less than 12 months prior, so I thought mechanic was not right. I refused the service and brought car home and changed the plugs and wires myself the very next day, the result was the car never ran any better, it was still running rough. As I looked over the vehicle more closely, there was a HOLE in the intake manifold so it was getting more air than fuel. I brought it back to the dealership because how could the mechanic say it was a plug and wire when a moron could tell it's not running good because there's a HOLE IN THE ENGINE! I was told that the catalytic converter was blocked and that made the exhaust back up through the EGR valve and burn a hole in the intake manifold because it is made from plastic (ford junk.) That is the first intake I've seen made of plastic and the last ford I'll purchase. Cost of repair is estimated at $1200 parts/labor, because the emissions warranty is 80K miles, I have 81250. 1250 miles over. Isn't that lovely. Ford manufactures their cars to last just over the warranty. My wife's 10 year old Honda accord has 150K miles on it and the catalytic converter is fine on it, and I'll bet you that when it does go bad, it wont burn a hole in the intake manifold because the intake on the Honda is made of METAL, not the crappy plastic that melts when it gets heat going through it. Obviously Ford's engineers where absent the day the college was teaching molecular dynamics and how plastic melts at a lower temperature than exhaust heat. This still does not excuse the fact that I paid $100 to be told by the service department that my car was not running right because of a plug and wire when clearly the ignorant mechanic MISSED a hole in the top of the engine and mis-diagnosed the repair needed. Ford has made my wife and I lifelong Honda customers. Hub city Ford has made us lifelong customers of any other dealership but theirs. They should change their name from Hub City to Hub Sh*tty Ford because their service department sucks, scammed me out of $100. Hopefully Ford is one of the companies that fail with the economy going bad. May the fleas of 1000 dogs infest the carpets of that dealership.

I recently purchased a used chrysler about 45 days ago from Hub City Ford. I went to have my oil changed and I was told that the oil pan plug was stripped and they wouldn't be able to change my oil. So I took the vehicle back to the place where I purchased the car(Hub City Ford) and the last oil change occurred and explained to the used car manager the cituation. He told me that his mechanics don't due work like that and to take the car somewhere else. I asked him If he could help me in any kind off way he laughed in my face and told me that this isn't a chrysler dealer and that they don't service chryslers there, but they sold me the car less than 2 months ago at that location and I also purchased their extended warranty. I took the car to another dealer that doesn't sell chrysler cars and where It wasn't puchased and they fixed my problem for $15 dollars.I had the worst experience ever in purchasing a car there and would not recommend Hub City Ford to anyone. They have horrible service. Once they take your money you are on your own. It's sad that I had to go somewhere else and was treated so poorly over a $15 dolllar repair. I will never purchase anything from there and would advise anyone else to do the same unless you like to receive poor service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
