I have purchased cars here and have had all my service and repairs done here The staff and facility are top notch and I recommend Honda Village without reservation Calvin and Joe at intake are always helpful and friendly as are the rest of the staff even when the volume of business is off the wall and everyone needs their vehicle "right away" Keep up the Godd Work

This place seems to operate in a very "old school" world where the customer-is-presumed to be wrong. I bought some parts from them and found them to have a very poor level of customer service. I would suggest you take any parts buying business elsewhere.

The last 25+ years ive only driven Toyota, drive them for 6 to 8 years than go back to the my same dealer for an other deal, needles to say that they would have done every thing in their power to keep my business no issue there, but this time I was in the market for a used Tacoma with some TLC ( low mileage trunk cover, steps, alarm etc..)and I know for certain a USED one would get me that, and just happened to drive near HONDA VILLAGE and saw almost exactly what I wanted at list the right color, the step, and so I stopped by to take a quick look, and the Sales Rep was gentlemen name YVES DUFOUR , needless to say the vibe I got form him was TRUE Professionalism, very knowledgeable but I had to go +think this over, few days after came back for a formal look and possibly test drive and again dealt with YVES DUFOUR who introduce me to his supervisors and I can not say enough about these guys Sales manager Mr David Rodriguez, the Floor Manager Mr. Jason Flynn, those guys are top on their game, knowledgeable, patient, and willing to work with every customer that step foot Honda Village, and again I used to just do business at Toyota dealers, and there I was at HONDA VILLAGE getting the deal I always wanted andthose guys are making these things happened for me Respectfully I would encourage others friends and family to bring their business to HONDA VILLAGE anytime.

Easy to schedule 30,000 mile appointment. I had purchased an updated Navigational System and the dealership installed it at no charge. Personnel are friendly, including the Service Advisor, John. He recommended an alignment, which I hadn't had done in a few years. I love the fact that the dealership offers free transportation, in my case, to/from my home. Rather than sitting around, I was able to get some yard work done. They also offer a free "loaner." When the work was completed, they picked me up at my home. To my surprise, when I paid the invoice, they had given me a 10% "goodwill discount."

My lease is ending on my car soon so I came in to see what kind of deals Honda Village had since I work in the area. I believe the rep I dealt with was Al Colon. Though I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle, Al was great throughout the process. Was nice to deal with someone more close to my age and he understood my concerns and needs for purchasing my new car. We couldn't strike a deal that day but when the time comes for me to get a new car I will be back down to talk with Al.

We went looking for a car, and had ZERO intention of buying that day. Joshua explained the Pilot we were interested in, and went over literally, every single feature and detail. We were taken aback at how much he knew, but more importantly that he was so friendly and down to earth. I can say that if we replayed this situation 99 more times were would have never bought a car with another salesman, but we trusted Joshua 100% and getting a new Pilot was a great decision. Sometimes things just happen, but my wife and I know for sure that Josh was the reason. We were unsure of which car to buy, it was between 2 different models and we were stuck. Our previous car had been totaled so we needed a car and fast. We had called around to several dealerships, but they all seemed too focused on how much they were selling the car for. We needed information and differences, and were getting frustrated. We looked at reviews online of dealerships within a 20 miles radius and decided to give Honda Village a try. Joshua Fink was GREAT. From the minute we walked in, he was personable, and so down to earth. He actually ASKED questions about what was important to us in a car, and what we liked about our previous one. The rest was simple....................All told, this was the best buying experience and Joshua is a very rare breed. If more salespeople took after him, any buying experience would be this efficient and positive. Kudos to Joshua, thank you so much!

I emailed the dealership inquiring about the 2016 Honda Accord, I wanted to test drive it. Joshua Fink responded by email and said that I could test drive the car that night. I came into the dealership and met with Joshua who greeted me and my parents with a big warm smile and was very friendly. I drove the car and loved it. I chose to give this dealership a really great review, and here is why . From the moment you walk in you are greeted by one of many great employees. And not like those people that give you attitude because they hate their lives,and SHOULD NOT be working a customer service position. So now from the front desk they will call for an available sales associate and they will not keep you waiting like some other dealers. So to make things short I was greeted by Joshua Fink who by far is the best sales associate that I've had in all my car buying experience. I went to this dealership with my friend who was looking for a used car. Mia helped us and was incredibly patient and thorough. Unfortunately they didn't have the car that my friend wanted, so she didn't buy there- but Mia was nice enough to call my friend the next day to make sure all her questions were answered and thanked her for stopping by.. Even though she knew we bought a car somewhere else! I'm going to be in the market for a car in about a year and a half, and I'm definitely going to see Mia first. It was such a different experience than at other dealerships.

So I went to Honda Village to look at some cars. I was greeted with a happy warm welcome. I was surprised that I wasn't approached by a group of salesman. I then was introduced to Jonathon Dias. Jonathon Dias actually wanted to know what I wanted. He told me that he was not a "typical car salesman". I entered Honda Village with trepidation thinking I would be intimidated like I was in the past in other car dealerships. Enter Barry, the most personable and non intimidating salesman I've ever met. We immediately connected. He gave me a great deal (which I know because I had visited 3 other dealerships and he beat their price). He is also great on follow through. I brought my car in for service as I had received various estimates for brakes, shocks, and a couple other ailments. In talking with Joe Panichella, I was provided with the most reasonable estimate, quickest turnaround time, soonest appointment and just truly amazing service all around! Then, about 8 months later, we purchased another car (used, at a different dealership) for my mom and brought it right back to Joe who was able to give it a top to bottom tune up and again, very fair price and it's running like it's brand new. Scott was there for me when I first stepped into Honda Village. He was always showing me what was available to me if I choose to add to what I was looking for. Scott kept me informed when we had to work with my insurance company about a very small issue. He worked within my budget which meant a lot with me. Scott even brought the car to me because of a minor delay that had nothing to do with Scott at all. If I decide to leased again I will be looking for Scott. I have had a very bad experience with this place with both my vehicles. I brought in my Honda civic for air bag recall. When i picked up my car the dashboard where they changed the bag was cracked. I had to bring it in again in which they couldn't do anything about it. I brought it for a 3rd time which they changed the air bag but when i picked it up my car had a huge dent on the side. A few days ago I took my odyssey because i had door problems. It took 4 times me taking it for them to actually fix it because previous times it was fine. It was "the cold" weather making my door act up. When i picked up my car it had scratches and chips all over the car! I tried taking it the body shop i trust in working in my car which i know they do an amazing job and i was told that they have their own shop that does all Honda work and they're "the best" the last thing i need is messing up my car just like they did with my Civic when they "fixed it"!! This dealer is a joke! There's always issues, they can never get things right the first time! They're so unprofessional!!

I'd done my homework by the time I arrived at Honda Village; I'd compared prices on line and visited or spoken with sales reps at three or four other local dealerships. I was due to test drive a 2013 Honda CRV at another dealership the following day. I only dropped by Honda Village on the way home from running an errand because it happened to be en route. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision that turned out to be a very good one. I met sales agent Jim Samson and told him what I was looking for: a 2013 or 2014 Honda CRV EX-L with no more than 20k mileage. He showed me what they had in stock, but none of them met the scope of what I was looking for. Then Jim placed the prospect of a new car on the table. Would I consider it? I honestly hadn't even thought about a brand new car, assuming it to be out of my price range. And of the half-dozen salespeople at other dealerships, not one had even suggested . But Jim made a great offer, and later agreed to my counteroffer based on another price I found on line from another dealership. There was no hard sell, no tense moments, just a super-friendly, relaxed interaction. When it came time to discuss financing, I was concerned that the great price I'd negotiated would be undone by less than favorable terms. Not so: Ivo Petrov in the financing division walked me through the options carefully; I got an interest rate and extended warranty plan that I was very happy with. This is a great dealership with a staff that is not of the fake, high-octane, super-aggressive vein. I enjoyed the experience of buying from Honda Village. You'll get the same deal you can get at dealers who do bigger volume, but with less hype and less hassle. Ask for Jim Samson; great guy to buy a car from!

I set up an appointment two weeks ago and he blew my mom and I away. Jim cared not only about our needs, but also about our fears and anxiety about this new and exciting chapter. He had so much knowledge in answering our questions . His charisma and way about the industry made my anxiety instantly subside. When I got behind the wheel I fell in love with the car. it was almost like he read my mind. He showed us the most beautiful color CRV. I felt so comfortable in it. As he showed us the features in the car, he really incorporated his personality. We returned to purchase our second Honda Fit from Manny Zabatta. He is honest and fair, and we did not feel any pressure, in what can many times be a very stressful situation. He explained each step of the process, and we felt we were dealt with in a very up-front way--no fooling around, just down to business. This is not to say that he was not friendly and courteous--he just made the process as easy as possible in the nicest way.

I was very impressed--and actually surprised--that the leasing of my Honda Accord at Honda Village in Newton was as pain free as it was. I first made contact with Jim Samson at Honda Village in Newton via email on a Monday afternoon, and after exchanging a few emails with Jim and starting to believe that he would be responsive to my needs, I changed my plans for the evening so that I could go to the dealership. Jim had indicated during our email exchange that Honda Village would be able to meet the lease terms I was looking for (I had done my homework well and knew what I was after). What remained to be determined was what I would be given for the 20 year old Honda I was turning in; in fact, I had told Jim what I wanted for the car. After my car was checked at the dealership, Jim came to tell me with a big smile on his face that they would give me what I wanted for it. So the deal was done, just like that, in less than 8 hours! The following day I went to the dealership to complete the paper work. I left for home around 1 PM and barely had time to get my stuff out of my old Honda when Jim called at 4:45 and asked when I could pick up the new car! By 6 PM I drove out of the dealership in my new Accord! The whole thing from first contact to new car pickup had taken less that 30 hours! Working with Jim was a pleasure, He was knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. In addition, he had a good sense of humor. I will certainly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a car.

Great experience here. Went to buy one car.Ended up buying two. Outstanding salesman, Edgar -low key no pressure-very knowledgeable about Hondas! My husband and I each bought a car. Went back next day to discuss finances, etc. Ivo was also low key, no pressure. We ended up buying no extended warranties but unlike other places, there was no "warnings" about how bad this is. Got 2 very good prices on our cars. Also, we didn't spend hours sitting there listening to sales pitches! We were in and out very quickly. The facility is clean and conveniently located. We were offered water and coffee as soon as we arrived. My husband and I both hate buying cars, but at Honda Village, working with Dave, the sales manager and the rest of the team there, it was a pleasure and I would recommend the place to anyone.

Edgar Monterrosa was fantastic--we came in to try some specific used cars and he showed us want we asked for and when my husband and I couldn't agree, guided us to a model we are both very happy with. He was trustworthy, patient, and knowledgeable and made the experience low-stress and surprisingly enjoyable. The other team members in the showroom deserve kudos for creating a family-friendly and welcoming environment. They gave my kids popcorn and water and went so far as to set up my daughter with a coloring book and crayons while we completed the paperwork. Really a great experience and I highly recommend this dealership and salesperson.

Last week, I made the decision to visit Honda Village following a recommendation from a friend, to work with Georgi Stoev. Prior to going to Honda Village, I visited three other car dealerships in which I had a less than average experience. However, thanks to Georgi, I cannot imagine having a better car shopping experience. He was extremely friendly, accommodating, attentive and knowledgeable about the various types of cars and services available. After making my decision on what car I wanted to purchase, I learned that the dealership did not have the color I wanted. However, at no point in time did Georgi try to persuade me into getting another color just to make a quick sale. He also worked with me regarding my price range, which allowed me to purchase a car stress free and without any regrets. I feel as though Georgi went out of his way on several occasions to make sure I left Honda Village a satisfied customer, and I am glad to say he did. I would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a Honda to see Georgi at Honda Village in Newton!

Excellent Top Notch Service After a less than satisfying experience with an alignment and tire balancing job at Town Fair Tire I decided to give an actual Honda service dealership a try. Skeptical at first because of the "dealership price" reputation, I had more than one bad experience with the previously mentioned so called tire experts. I was not going back for a third time and hoping they get it right this time. As it turns out everything TFT thought was wrong with the way my car drove had nothing to do with it. Had I kept replacing and changing everything they suggested I would have spent way beyond what I did to have Honda Village fix my car issues. The service was excellent, the time was swift and above all they got it right the first time and it was such a relief to get what I payed for. The Service Advisor (Phil Simmons) was straight up and honest, he went out of his way to put me in a loaner vehicle while my car was being serviced. As I waited for the loaner to be brought out to me I was greeted and treated with a red carpet treatment by the General Sales Manager. My Service Advisor (Phil Simmons) kept me informed previously, during and after the job was done. Such a relief to finally get what I payed for and to get it done right the first time.

My name is Joseph and my family just moved to this area from Kirkland Washington. I have two experiences with the Honda of Newton service center and both were positive. I was concerned with the reviews on Cars.com but I dont always believe everything I read. Ive been to places based on good reviews only to have a not so good experience. I dont now anyone at this dealer and this review was not solicited by anyone. Located just off the I90 with lots of shops and restaurants around. The location and service are excellent! The service professionals have always been friendly and helpful from the time I called for an appointment to the time I left. The service managers are practical and gave me a fair assessment on what I did and did not need for winter in Boston and they didnt try to sell me extra services beyond what I came in for. Overall, this is a great shop. Id give them a 4.5 star rating just to keep them honest and hungry for customer satisfaction. Maybe they dont have Lexus hot cookies but Id be concerned if they did. Waiting area is finesocial and relaxing atmosphere with free shuttle service, wifi and private work desk stations. And, they have a new fancy hot drinks machine...and today theres Dunkin Doughnuts - bonus Merry Christmas! Ill be back for future service and purchases. I was pretty unimpressed with Honda Village. The sales guy Tim was fine, typical car salesman. Ivo, the finance person was wonderful. When I picked my my car, 2011 Accord (which I LOVE and am really happy with) we found it had some rust on the bottom panel of one of the doors, no big deal- they were great at making an appointment for it to get fixed. It took 3 days longer than they said and upon pick up we noticed that the car was slightly damaged between the time we dropped off and picked up.Back to the body shop it went .After picking it up for the 2nd time and a thorough inspection of the car before leaving I get in to drive away and notice the mileage looks off. The paperwork for the work on the car states mileage at drop off and mileage at pick up. Why were there over 300 miles put on my car? Per the website the autobody shop is in Brookline. So that tells me- some employee took my car over the 4th of July weekend, drove it 300 miles damaged it and left it hoping I wouldn't notice. I bet this review gets no response from the team at Honda Village!

I had a very bad experience with Honda Village. First, the finance manager (Ivaylo Petrov) tried to rush me into making decisions. I had to wait at the dealership for more than 3 hours before he was able to come up with the best rate that he could get for me. The rate was much higher than I expected with my credit score (795) and he tried to convince me that is a good rate. I asked him whether he was able to find better rates for me, but he told me he did not have enough time and the branch was closing. I wanted to wait for the next day and make my decision since the rate was so high; and he told me that if I did not make a decision that day then the vehicle price I was offered will be voided. I felt that I was forced to make a decision..... After 1 month, I finally have time to go to my bank and see what rate they could offer. Just for your references, the new APR is half of the rate that Honda Village got me. On that same day, Ivaylo then tried to sell me a bunch of additional coverage offered by the dealership. Again, he gave me maybe 8 different things. He explained it very briefly and forced me to make a decision right away. He told me I could not get any of these coverage the moment I drove off the car. I picked one of the coverage, but after I went home and read the coverage more carefully, it was not the same as what Ivaylo described to me in the dealership. There were many limitations that he purposely avoided telling me. Second, I also had problems with David Rodriguez, the General Sales Manager. A few days after I purchased the car, someone from Honda American Company called me and asked me to rate my dealership experience. I, of course, did not give Honda Village the best rating. After another week, I had some problems with the car. The car has roughly 50 miles on it. I gave the dealership a call and got transferred to David. He told me he could not help me because he received my review from Honda American Company. Since I did not give them a good review, he refused to help me. I tried to tell him why I gave such ratings. He was not listening and he even yelled at me on the phone for 20 minutes. At the end, I asked him to calm down and even apologized to him because he did not receive bonuses due to this review. He just hung up on me. I would not recommend this dealership.

I recently bought a 2013 Honda Fit Sport from Edgar at Honda Village. He and I connected via email and phone about price and fees before going down to look at the car and finalize the sale. Edgar was very responsive and was quick to reply to my emails and calls. When I did go in for the paper work, Edgar was very friendly and not at all pushy. He listened to my financial limitations and worked hard to meet them and he did. There was a lot of transparency and no pressuring to make a decision. Between my wife and I we have had to purchase for different cars in the past 12 years and I have to say my experience at Honda Village was by far the best. I went here because they offered the best price and they did not try to fast track a sale or be deceptive. I can honestly say that I enjoyed my car buying experience.

If I had to do it all over again there is no way I would buy from Honda Village. I repeatedly had to call them on "errors" in how they calculated fees and when we finally negotiated free oil changes, they ended up reneging on that aspect of the deal. Lied to my face and continuously gave me the run around when I tried to get resolution to the situation. The kicker was when they delivered me a new car that had not one but two issues with it which required me to go back twice to get each fixed. Go elsewhere!

I sent a note to the GM, but got no response so it seems there's no urgency from him to satisfy customers. Tom moved things quickly and made the transaction painless so no issues on the sales side.

I was very interested in one of their used cars. A friend of mine, knows better in car's mechanic, went before me checked the car and made a good deal, in exactly 15 min, I came to finish the sale and get the car. I get inside the car to test it, and suddenly another sales person, comes and tells me, "This car is sold, what are you doing?! Please, get out?". That was very unprofessional and rude. I wasted 3 hours, and drove 1.5 hr. to get to this dealer! What kind of business is that? I was a new customer, and that's dishonesty!!! That was a different and very bad experience. I wouldn't recommend it to any of my friends!
