From the moment we walked into the door, Erick Batista had great customer service. He was extremely kind and not pushy at all. As a first time leaser I did not know what to expect and was in partly a little overwhelmed. I usually hate stepping foot into car dealers but this experience was totally different! I went to Honda city in Levittown and my sales guy was Eric Batista. What a nice and helpful guy. He showed me all about my car, allowed me to take my time, answered all of my questions. He didn't pressure me into making a decision and just made my overall experience very relaxed. Compared to every single other dealership and car salesman I have ever encountered, Eric Batista was the best ever. Expect more business Eric. I already told all my friends to go to you. CAR LOOKED HORRIBLE!!!! When I went to tell the service manager about it, he got the service and parts director. BOTH WERE DISMISSIVE AND RUDE to me AND my father. Was told "Get in your car and leave. You'll just have to deal with it. We did what we were supposed to do." Waste of my time trying to deal with them. Called Honda Corporate about issue, FINALLY resolved. Except when when they were doing the work, more damage done to car. Service took no responsibility for it. I don't trust them.If you want your car to be abused and damaged, definitely the place to go.INCOMPETENT SERVICE!!DO NOT USE THEM!!!I even bought my car from Honda City, and this is how I'm treatedNow going to another Honda dealer, hopefully with better results.

Got my Honda CRV serviced yesterday at Honda City in Levittown./Bethpage. Tom Santoro was my service manager whom, I try to get him each time I have worked done there, because he treats me in a friendly professional manner. And, I know my car is treated the same way and in great hands with Mr. Santoro. He always goes the extra distance to explain all servicing, and also informs me of any upcoming items that I should be aware of. I get in and out of the facility pretty quickly, all depending on what is getting done. I feel 100% confident when Mr. Santoro addresses my concerns, and I have never had to return with any item fixed at the facility. Honestly, I cannot say that about other service centers and this is probably the first time I feel comfortable enough to make such a statement. Youre in great hands with Tom Santoro.

This serviced department exceeded all of my expectations. I have had horrible service experiences at other dealers. Theresa did a great job assisting me throughout the whole process and was extremely accommodating. I didn't feel like I had anything to worry about. All services and charges were explained to me in detail and Theresa also provided me with information as to what other services to expect in the future for my car. they told me i needed a power steering pump because it was leaking.. So i got my mechanic to check it out and there is no leak and doesn't need to be replaced.. I dont think thats cool to try to get $500 from me.. Then charged me $37 for a failed inspection , that my mechanic passed without finding anything wrong...Wont trust them anymore!

I purchased a used Toyota from Honda city..all started out great, they worked with us to get the price where we needed it. But when i went to pick up the car, everything changed.. they told us during negotiations that they cant certify it since it wasnt a honda but it would go through almost the same check and everything that was needing repair would be fixed,, well as i was walking to my new car, i was told by the used car sales manager that i would have to replace the brakes a rotors since there was a grinding. nothing was told to me before all the papers were signed..when i go to get the brakes checked at a service station, i was told they barely passed inspection...a few days later i noticed a rough ride when at highway speeds(first time on the highway)..the tires turned out to be choppy causing this. Even their service dept said the tires need to be changed to stop the rough ride as well as many various mechanics that i have been to and that the dealership should be replacing the tires.....the used car manager and general manager of the dealership are refusing to replace the tires...so now, the everything that was needing repair would be replaced, was changed to as long as it passed inspection... i was offered by the GM to pay for labor if i was to buy the tires...why should i have to pay for the tires??? be cautious buying from them.. they go back on their word once they get the sale!! i am also not happy with the service dept. i have been back many times due to issues caused by them.. I will never recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family,, btw, the salesman that i worked with was great. he was professional and courteous.

I have used a few other dealers for my service needs in the past and have been unsatisfied eachbtime. There is usually an unrealistic wait time, rude or nasty service people, know it all managers just to name a few. So going into my appointment I prepared myself for the normal showdown. Well, Theresa and the team at Honda pleasantly surprised me! I was greeted with smiles and kindsness, everything was explained thoroughly, the wait time was not unbearable and my needs were always the forefront of the conversation. Stopes in to Honda city 2 weeks ago with my wife's 2013 pilot for service. Oil change,they greeted me quickly and courteous, worked with Anselmo Paulino.. He was very knowledgeable and even told me about a recall that my wife's truck which was great since my wife has my 3 kids in the car...they where honest with me not trying to over sell me on maintinace. And prices are great!!!! I paid 50 bucks for a syntictic oil change, I paid 75 bucks at jiffy lube...need I say more u guys got me as a client!!!!!!

They lost my keys a few weeks ago after I spent over $1,000 on repairs. No real apology, no explanation and never reimbursed for my aggravation and loss of MY time. They cut me a new Honda car key but I wasted 1 1/2 hours going back to dealer for that.

Having been a repeat customer at Honda City in Levittown we decided to buy our new CRV from them. We tried to find the salesman who helped us previously but was off that particular day. We ended up with Samantha B. If you ever get her RUN to the nearest exit. She promised delivery the next day even though she was off telling us to see her co-worker who knew nothing about the deal. She scheduled nothing, never told the co-worker, and did not pull the car off the lot. She left it up to Eric C. who did a fantastic job. I would highly recommended Eric who handled the whole sale and made the delivery happen in 3 hours time. Thanks so much Eric for all your help

I was in need of a car to replace my lease that expired. I've owned Hondas before and the cars are by far, the best band for your buck. Low maintenance and high re-sale value. I usually deal with South Shore Honda but this dealership seemed to have a larger certified pre-owned selection. I did not get any hard sell from the gentleman (Mateusz Nowak) I dealt with while looking through MANY used CRVs. He was very patient and extremely knowledgeable despite his young age. Once I selected a car that I wanted, I was then working with their finance Manager who explained all options available to to finance the vehicle. They were very patient with me as I had lots of questions. All of the other staff I ran into there were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us to make sure we had what we wanted. I left purchasing a certified pre-owned 2012 Honda CRV EX. Without a doubt, I would recommend this dealer and specifically this associate if you're looking for a Honda. Massive selection and very competitive no haggle prices.

Chafiq, the manager, provided a competitive rate, was very courteous, and we liked the no-nonsense approach with no gimmicks. His brother Reda, who was also part of the sales team, was informative and did not make us feel pressured when we test drove the CRV. We were also pleased with the no surprises at contract signing (as some dealers have), which made it a quick and smooth transaction. In addition, Chafique came in just for the signing because of our time constraints even though it was his day off. Marie and Jose processed the paper work politely and efficiently. We will recommend Honda City to our friends when their leases are up.

I walked into Honda City to check the Pilots , not expecting to get one. Everyone there was pleasant and helpful. They offered me a great deal. I ended up getting a 2015 Honda CR-V in less than 2 hours. I literally spent less than 5 minutes with the finance manager Reginald in his office.He was great! The best part of the experience was their sales representative Reda Bouattoura. He was there for me from the start till the end. Took me out for a test drive, made a great offer, filled the forms for me, offered me coffee, called my insurance for coverage and was there until the end to put on my plates and hand me the car. He explained to me everything about the car, even sinked my phone with the blue tooth and set-up the radio stations. I walked out very happy with a pleasant experience and would recommend him strongly if anyone is looking for a Honda car. ,

so after having a horrific issue with a Honda dealer in the Babylon ny /long island area I contacted Honda city, spoke to a service writer, explained the situation and what was going on with the CRVshe was amazing, never made me feel like I was just a number or dollar sign, she was nice , friendly, personable and extremely knowledgeabletook the CRV in for an issue that the other dealership (we found out afterwards) screwed upthe place fixed the problem did it quickly and professionally cant say enough for this locationif I ever trade in my car I would only come here and only deal with the same wonderful people I met there

Must share my outstanding visit to Honda city. I've always noticed a difference between service here (NY) and when I'm in my home in Florida. New York always seems rushed and non personal. still always good but today was a little different. I was greeted by a very nice young man that was very busy but very helpful and welcoming. The wait outside was a few minutes but I can understand why. Everyone was very busy. When it was finally my turn I was treated by a young lady terrissa. I normally work with Greg who is also very good but was off today. I gave her my problems with the car and asked if I would be delayed because it was so busy. She assured me that the service would only take an hour or so. To the minute she was done and walking me to front desk to do my paperwork. And by the time we were done, another young man handed me my keys and walked me out and showed me my car. Today's service was very comparable to what I get in Florida. Very nice, personal and punctual. Great Job..!!

I just purchased a Honda Accord at Honda City. I came in knowing exactly what I was looking for (model, features, etc). as well as the price I needed them to beat, and also agreeing to take on responsibility of returning my leased car. I mainly worked with the Sales manager, a friendly and upfront gentleman Chafik Bouattoura. The sales man we negotiated with ...Kaheem....was easy to work with. He did not drag out the process or attempt to convince me to consider options I had no interest in. But the crown jewel of my experience was Chafik. He has gone out of his way to help me ready my leased car to be returned to a lender that has a reputation for being quite unfair. On top of this, a few days after I purchased car I took it on a "girls weekend road trip" and a beeping news kept going of every few minutes. Since I couldnt figure it out I was worried and called the dealership asking for him. He immediately got on the phone and asked me the appropriate questions leading him to know it was a safety feature beeping and was able to tell me just how to shut it off. I felt like I was calling a concerned friend! I would go back to Honda City in a heartbeat!

I have been to the Honda city service a bunch of times with the civic and accord in that 9 year span I have had some bad service and some not so bad service so I take my cars to to my local gas station for simple repairs in between visits to Honda city. My aunt goes to Honda city and recommended RICHARD BAEZ. I've had a issue with my car overheating so I thought I would try him out ...my aunt was right HE'S GREAT. He kept me informed even when it was bad news. He told me what the car needed now and what I could wait to do. Pricing is a little higher there and even though I'm on a fixed income I will not go anywhere else for service. I'm glad my aunt recommended him. Honda city is a great and professional service department.

NEVER bring your vehicle to this location! This was the worst experience ever! My car was there for almost a month. In that time span my car was barely worked on. I dealt with Richard Baiata who was a professional liar and story teller. My car initially needed 2 parts replaced. One of the parts took 7 days to arrive. Then suddenly my car needed 4 more "new" parts. As per my insurance company my car was considered a total loss bc the repairs cost more than the car was worth. This was an absolute nightmare! I never had so much stress and anxiety dealing with a service station in my life! When Richard wasn't in, which was often, my car didn't get touched and nobody else could help me and didn't call me back. Now, I don't have my car and it's all bc of him and the manager!! They screwed me by trying to get away with making money off of my insurance company and being the professional liars they are, my insurance company's adjuster believed them. This is your warning! Never go there!! I would NEVER recommend anyone to this location. I would rate this service center ZERO stars!!

Went down to Honda City and met with Dan to check out some 2012 Honda Accords. Dan was very well informed, showed me a bunch of cars, found me an accord that I love and at such a fair price. After deciding that I definitely wanted to buy the car, there were a few clerical issues that had my father and I waiting at the dealership for almost an hour. During that time, Dan kept us company while we waited and was a joy to be around. Honestly, Dan turned would could have been a very tiring and drawn out process into an enjoyable one. When it comes to Hondas, the quality of car isn't what you should be worrying about; it's the process and the type of salesman that make purchasing a car either good or bad. Honda City and Dan Turin are class acts and I wouldn't buy a Honda from any other dealership or salesman.

Needed some recall work done on my Honda Odyssey. I called this dealer, since I'd bought this vehicle from them, and couldn't even get anyone there to call me back! Called once, they sent me to a voicemail box that asked for all of my information. Didn't get a call back at all. I then called the Service Area, and spoke to a Customer Service Rep. She wound up taking all of my information, and said that a "Service Advisor would get back to me as soon as they were free". Well, needless to say - it's a few days later, and I'm still waiting for this call back! No one called me back at all!This really irritated me, especially since this recall was related to an issue with the Vehicle's braking system (VSA) -- which puts me and my children at risk!! I wanted to get this taken care of ASAP, but it's apparently not possible to get this done at Honda City.So anyway, went ahead and called another Honda dealer (Millennium Honda, in Hempstead) to see if they could do this recall work for me. I was pleasantly surprised when it took me literally less than 5 minutes to make an appointment, and when they agreed to take my car in within the next couple of days. It was SO easy to make an appointment, and and the appointment time given to me was SO convenient. I really appreciated that. In addition, on the day of the appointment - I wanted to have the work done a little earlier in the day. They accommodated me and were able to take care of it! They were the COMPLETE opposite of what I experienced in trying to get this work done at Honda City.Unfortunately, the poor experience in this service area has given me a reason to try another dealer. We're going to get our Service done there instead, and will be purchasing our next Honda there as well. I'm posting this out there, in the hope they do a better job at Customer Service, especially as it relates to getting a Safety Recall taken care of!

I went to Honda City to help my parents buy a Civic. We dealt with Debbie Edelsen (Salesperson) and Marie Iacono (Finance Officer). We couldn't have had a better experience. My parents' were rear-ended and their car was totaled - so they needed a replacement vehicle ASAP. They were also extremely shaken up by the accident and very anxious during the "new car buying process". After visiting numerous car dealers - we ended up choosing Honda City, primarily because of Debbie and Marie. They were so incredibly patient and understanding with my parents (English is their second language). They weren't pushy in any way and helped walk my parents through the process as painlessly as possible. My mother thought that she would never be comfortable driving again - but Debbie spent so much time explaining the ins and outs of the car so thoroughly, that it worked wonders. She treated my parents like they were her own. My parents now absolutely love their Civic. We all highly recommend Honda City and, especially, Debbie and Marie.

I've always been wary of car dealerships, to many bad experiences in the past ..... That being said I took my Honda Accord in for service at Honda city I was met by service advisor, Teresa .. She made me feel at home she took the time to explain everything that was being done, she was extremely professional I explained to her how time was an issue for me and I needed to be at a meeting within an hour or so and she expedited my car got me out in 30 minutes !!!! Bought my wife's car here in 2012. Sales guys are willing to negotiate and I was able to get a great deal on the trade in and the new CRV. The service department is a differerent story. Prices are too high and they'll argue over every little thing. Had to fight with them to fix the A/C while the car was still under warranty. They wanted $525 to replace a side view mirror. $55 to plug a tire and the list goes on. Always trying to upsell. In short, get a new car here, but STAY AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

We were referred to Hondacity and Dan Turin by a friend who had just purchased a CR-V. I was in the market for a used car, I had no idea of where to begin having had a 1998 BMW. I happened to stop by Honda City just to look at the used car lot. I was fortunate to have Dan Turin introduce himself. He was friendly, straight forward and easy to talk with. I told him my financial situation, and my car needs. WE FOUND THE PERFECT CAR! and the loan was approved! Daniel was very professional and went out of his to see that everything ran smoothly, and even set up my navigation system and showed me how to work all the feautures in the Civic EX. To my surprise, I came home with the car the same day! I would definitely recommend Mr. Turin if you want a professional, and caring salesperson!

I walked into Honda City about a week ago and right away was pleasantly greeted by Nico Levinas . Within 2-5 minutes Nico had the car i was interested in upfront, running and a plate on for my test drive . He specifically went over the whole car in detail inside and out . Even though i went to 3 other honda dealers before visiting honda city he was able to provide me with info that all other 3 salesman at the other dealerships combined couldnt do. We then took a ride up to his inventory where i was able to hand pick my own vehicle and inspect it of any physicall damage before we even worked out numbers . When we got back i told Nico where i wanted to be around in payment and he met that objective the first shot . We didnt spend any useless time going back and forth haggiling and having to bring in sleezy sales managers that promise you the world and try to hammer you into buying the car . Because of the experience i had with Nico i took the car home the same day and couldnt of been any happier. As long as i lease with honda i will forever get my cars from this young gentleman. I highly recommend Nico Levinas, go see him at Honda City for your next honda. He was amazing and the other staff at the dealership are very pleasant easy going people. Thank you so much nico!!

I went into the used car lot at Honda City and I was very surprised by how good the service was. Mateusz and everyone at Honda City made buying my Nissan Maxima much more enjoyable then I thought. Went in with my Nissan Altima lease up in 5 months looking for a better deal (had previously went to Legacy Nissan in Westbury in which they couldn't satisfy and walked out); Joanna showed me various models, let me test drive two cars, and was very helpful in the negotiations. I ended up getting a better value car, with less money down, and smaller payment than my previous lease (and with a newer, more accessorized car)! If you happen to see this dealership, keep driving. What brought me to this dealership was the woman I spoke to the night before I went. As it turned out it was the manager, James, mother. The reason I went there was because of her. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! I dealt with Raymond, the salesman, who was lovely. He showed me a car, that was $14,999 and I offered $13,500. He brought my offer to the manager who said, NO, $14,000. I told him I wanted to pay $13,500. With that he showed me another car with more mileage and that car listed for $13,999. As I sat at Raymond's desk, he was called in the office right next to his desk and was told to leave me sitting there to think. I sat there for 10 min or so and when he came back, I offered $13,000 for the car. Well the manager heard my offer and was beyond rude. He came out and started talking to me about TV's and making offers. I got up, told him that even if he was to lower the price I wouldn't buy from that dealership. HE IS BY FAR THE MANAGER FROM xxxx!!!! If you want to be treated like class, go to ADVANTAGE HONDA IN MANHASSET!!! From the minute you walk in to the minute you walk out, you are treated fantastic.

While shopping for a car I originally went to North Shore Honda. I had a firm price from them, and was ready to buy. Soon after, I found out that Costco offers a no haggle price for Hondas, and City Honda was on their list of participating dealerships, North Shore was not. I figured it was worth a shot. I immediately called City Honda with the competitors price and was told it could be beat by over a thousand dollars, but I had to come in because Costco pricing was not available over the phone. The following day I spent an extra hour in traffic only to be told the price could only be beat by $200. That sucked, but the salesman was cordial, and admitted to a mistake made with trim levels. Of course this was only to get me in the door, but oh well. Took my new price and drove to North Shore and bought the car that same night. What really pushed me to write this negative review was, about every other day since I went to City Honda, I've received a phone call. Every time we speak I tell them I've already purchased a car. Today it's three weeks later. I get another call at 7:30pm on a sunday. Today I was less cordial and made my promise to write a review of my experience.

I thought I was going to be a repeat customer. (I bought our 2007 Accord here.) My wife and I went back this past Sunday to do a trade-in for a new Accord. We negotiated pricing on a new car (2014 Accord), and returned today to pick a specific car and do the paperwork. We showed up, only to find they had no cars left for the model we wanted. (Way different from what we were told on Sunday and yesterday on the phone!) That was bad enough, but what followed is inexcusable.We were then handed off to a very sarcastic sales manager (James Tarantino). He first told me that he had a car in the model we wanted (which he had been holding for a friend), shook my hand to congratulate me on our new car, and then said he was going to get the paperwork so we could complete the deal. However, he returned to tell us he had to renege on the offer. I even offered to cover the $1500 incentive Honda was giving the dealers to sell 2014's so we could buy a 2015 at an equivalent price, but he wanted more money! When he started lecturing us about how this was all our fault because we should have done the paperwork on Sunday (just another of his repeated insults), we left. What a total jerk! I still can't believe the way we were treated. I will NEVER go back to this dealership.

Dealt with James Tarantino (Sales Manager) & Wilfredo Estavez.Here are the facts:Was very specific about most important feature being NavigationWas advised 2014 Civic had navigationAfter deal was done was advised that navigation was not built in butrequired an APP, a cell phone & an HDMI cableWas told that I would get the HDMI cables free of charge & vouchers for 3 oil changesto make up for the "confusion"Went to the dealership twice to pick up the cables - was given excuses as to why they were not there. Was told Wilfredo would drop them off at my house (2x) but that did not happen.Phone calls to Wilfredo & James went unansweredFound out my phone was not compatible with the navigation Bought new phone (based on info on website) James said he would give me yet another 3 vouchers for oil changes to make up for the cost of the phone Was told that I could pick up cables at Honda Service Picked them up and realized they were all for Apple devicesFound out that the navigation is only compatible with iPhoneLeft another message for Wilfredo which was not answeredWent back to dealership and Wilfredo said he never got my messageExplained and he said we needed to deal with JamesJames, upon seeing me, said he heard the bad news. It was a horrible experience. My company was purchasing a new car and the initial quote given to me was acceptable. James offered me a fair deal for the new car being purchased as well as a fair deal on my trade in. He did not offer anything in writing insisting that his handshake was enough. My company was ready to write a check for the car so it was a cash deal, no financing required and no matter how many phone calls, visits, emails, texts we sent following that "handshake" the deal could not be closed. Do yourself a favor and never visit that dealership. I love Hondas but that location is horrible. FYI I got my crv from another dealership and paid cash a week later for less money

He was not willing to help to pursue other financial options rather he was insulting and was trying prove his superiority in knowing finance really well. Which he does not I believe. Cannot believe we have such mangers .. Where one of the imp point in management says customer is everything .. It's a disgrace. I would not recommend this dealership for any sales activities.

Took my 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid in for a complaint about the suspension and a harsh ride. They replaced a control arm bushing but left the stabilizer bar bushings loose. One fell off while driving. Took it back to have one tightened and the other replaced. The vehicle still had a hard ride; I suggested inspecting all of the motor mounts. They claimed to have found no problems on two separate occasions. I finally took it to a different dealer, within half-hour they found a bad transmission mount. BTW vehicle was still under warranty.

Not a horrible experience till I got to the "Finance Manager" . She began trying to tell me that I was better of earning my .5 percent interest in the bank and finance a car through them at a 3% interest rate . When I asked her to explain she just said "Well it's accumulating interest " .when I said I'd be losing money every year she just said . "The difference is like $3 a month ". Which was really about $50 a month plus the loan origination fee. Then came the "alarm and remote start" . No thanks . But how about an extended warranty ? . Which you can't "purchase after the deal" . False information you can purchase warranty's for used cars yourself through a 3rd party and you'll save on the commission that the dealer charges. Overall I love the car but hate the 2nd "salesmen or saleswomen in this case " that tried to push her products by providing false information . And after 3 days my XM radio had stopped working when I called the dealership they said "you have to contact XM radio we have nothing to do with that " Gee thanks for helping ...Probably wouldn't recommend them , but as a disclaimer just be careful of the "Finance Manager" .

I visited Honda City when my Honda Accord lease was about to expire. I had dealt with them previously and had an ok experience. Not this time. They tricked me into going with a different finance company for my lease - I had always been with Honda Financial, and they did not mention it was a new company. I discovered that I had a different finance company when I called Honda Financial to ask a question. They couldn't find the new info in their system. I thought maybe they were late in getting to them, but then I received a letter from the new company - suspiciously called "Hann Financial" - awfully close. When I called to see if I could change this, they said it was too late! The sales manager was an arrogant at$$. On top of that, they did not send the required paperwork to the insurance company. I received a note from my insurance company letting me know I needed to send some paperwork.....which then turned into a phone call telling me I had to get pics taken of my new car for them because they had not received it yet. I've had to do more work for this car lease than any other! If you are looking for a Honda on Long Island, AVOID this dealership at all costs! They do not value their customers, and their blowhard sales manager will condescend to you as if you have pea brain the size of his own. I'm sorry that I can't take the car back and go somewhere else!!

Received letter in Aug 2013 stating lease end in Oct 2013. Go to dealer August 28 where salesman calls honda finance and tells him lease ends in October so dealer stamps and states they would pay one payment. They tell me to disregard bill cause it might cross in mail. I receive another bill in October and after investigating with finance company they tell me lease doesn't end until March 2014. Salesperson doesn't understand what happened, owner refuses to tAlk to me, and I'm getting run around for a week. They tell me I made the mistake so I should pay for two cars when the dealer has possession of one. They will do nothing to remedy their mistake. So now I have to go to court because they will not admit mistake. Two months is a long time and I discovered mistake. How can you run a dealership like this. Yes mistakes happen, but it shouldn't take two months for you to receive a letter from finance company and not answer them, have car on lot and expect a Loyal customer to pay for your mistake. Terrible way to treat repeat customer who will never buy another honda

Hello, I was at Honda city on Sunday and the owner or branch manager (Keith)was extremely rude and arrogant. We had a very nice salesman who treated us nicely. We were almost about to close the deal and while we were going through last negotiations ,Keith steps in and says "take the deal or you may leave"' he also added there are 11 other dealerships out there and you could go to them. This is our 4th bad experience with this dealer. We were there at 4pm to sign the deal and trade in our car, since we had done our homework we knew what to expect for our car so the negotiations went for a while longer..Keith says " you are holding all of us from going home and keeping all of us away from are families"... It was a big purchase for us.Keith's tone was very bad and unacceptable. I feel very bad for the salesperson since he worked very hard.We would never ever go back to this dealership as they treated us like dirt (especially if you make them stay a little over )I would never recommend this dealership to any one.

Prior to agreeing to purchase that vehicle, using my 2009 Honda Pilot Touring as a trade in, I asked the sales person and the manager if the new vehicle had everything in it that I had in my 2009 Honda. I asked that question after they inspected the my 2009 Honda with the keys including the remote start key fob. They replied YES so I went ahead with my purchase. However, when I went to close the deal, after securing insurance from my insurance company, two items that were not on the new vehicle paperwork were the remote start and the running boards. I could not accept a vehicle without the running boards because my wife is disabled and she would not be able to enter the vehicle without the running boards. They insisted that were unable to add these items without additional cost. I offered to pay for the remote start and asked them to work the running boards into the deal. They said they could not do that. The end result was I cancelled the sale and purchased the new vehicle from a different dealership. My 2009 Pilot was originally bought from Honda City but after they did not back what they said I would never buy another vehicle from them nor will I refer anyone to them. Bottom line is I spent a lot of time for nothing.

I seriously thought I was part of a Saturday Night Live skit when I visited Honda City ----every bad, stereotypical experience you've ever heard of from a car dealership / salesman took place during this visit. The receptionist/greeter TEXTED FOR ABOUT 3 MINUTES, AFTER SEEING ME, before stopping to ask if I needed help...AWFUL!!! Then she told me someone would be with me in a minute because she "couldn't see around the car to know which salesperson was available." REALLY? When I did finally see a salesperson, Frank Rossano, he used every cheesy, stereotype of a line for what he was "going to do for me" and then proceeded to come up with a quote that was incredibly insulting and about $80/month HIGHER than two previous quotes I got from other dealers.

We bought our 2013 Civic Hybrid through the Costco program, so there was no haggling over price. I also got what I expected on my trade-in, which kind of surprised me, but I guess my expectations had been lowered from when I bought my previous car and got killed on the trade-in. My main drawback was that the salesman told us you can't get a Honda Civic with Nav AND leather; that there was only either/or. We had asked about both. We weren't sure we wanted to spring for the leather anyway, so after we bought the one with NAV and figured out we could have gotten both, we let it stand and figured we'd saved a grand and had the decision made for us. We didn't have time to wait for a car to be custom ordered anyway and wanted to buy it that day. But, we were a little resentful that we were misled. As noted, though, the price was good as it usually is with Costco, the trade-in was good, and everyone was super friendly and not terribly high pressure throughout. I'd do the Costco program here again; I might be a little more thorough in my research beforehand, but this time, we were in a rush and we are quite satisfied with the car.

This is the shadiest place of business Ive ever had the misfortune of dealing with. WHAT KIND OF PLACE DOESNT ALLOW YOU ACCESS TO THE GM???? I came in through the Costco program to by a 2013 Accord V6 Coupe w/ nav for the agreed price of just under $31K. My salesperson CHRIS PENA guaranteed that he would have the car for me in 2-3 weeks. At week 2 I was told they were unsuccessful in locating the car, but they had one in a manual trans or one in a color I dint want. He was gracious enough to offer me the cars I didnt want at the same price, which they HAD TO sell it to me for anyway because Costco pre-negotiated the cost. Finally 3 weeks after that Chris calls and tells me my car is there, he was looking at it, and how quickly could I get there. I explained that I was out of state for work and would be in the dealership 2 days later to pick it up. I arrived at the dealership after transferring my car insurance from my trade-in to the new car and registering the new car with my town (I live in an incorporated village where a parking permit is required). I sat with financing, completed all the paperwork, and ordered a remote start. I was told the care would be ready in about 2-3 hours. Almost 6 hours later Chris Pena calls to tell me they made a mistake and the car wasnt automatic, it was a stick. They had the car for 3 days, were supposedly putting a remote start in for 6 hours, and no one noticed this? I wasnt shown the car because I was told it was being prepped. Never mind the fact that the first 2 numbers VIN tells the salesman if the car is automatic or stick. I personally think that they did have the correct car, but found someone willing to pay sticker or more prior to me returning to town. I think they were trying to pass off the manual trans that they had sitting there for WEEKS as the mistake. They were unwilling to try and swap one of the 2 accords they had for the one I wanted, I was told they didnt have a swap manager, then I was told the person who handles swaps is incompetent, etc. I would ask questions about how this could happen and be given 3 different answers by Chris after questioning the validity of the responses he was giving me. The next day I went back to the dealership and asked for the GM. Chris tried to stall me and brought me to every department in the place. After insisting for the 5th time that I wanted the general manager, some 20 year old sits down and tells me hes the manager. When I asked him if he was the GM he said no, he was one of the sales managers. I told him that I did not need to speak with him, as I wanted the person in charge of the entire dealership. He proceeded to stare at me, as if trying to intimidate me, for over 2 minutes without saying anything until I had to ask him to get up from the desk and stop trying to stare me down. I asked for the GM AGAIN and the sales manager told me he was out for the day. When Chris Pena got back to the desk I questioned why he would send over a sales manager when I asked for the GM. He proceeded to tell me the GM was busy with another customer. So, was he busy with another customer, or not in? I have called 5 times since then and been transferred to a different extension each time I ask for Dennis Buchanan. Long story short, went to Babylon Honda, and Tony Fuoco got me the car that was unattainable in 5 days. Not only did he honor the Costco price when he didnt have to, he gave me a little extra discount for the horrible experience I had at Honda City. The GM of Babylon Honda has already called me to ask about my purchase. Thats a professional place, with honest people. Youre better off spending your money there, at least they return calls.

I went to Honda City because a colleague of mine suggested that I go there. She had a great experience and hoped that I would too, especially since my car was totaled by Hurricane Sandy and she hoped that I would not be more inconvenienced. Unfortunately, I was unable to share her love for the place. When I got there, Alex R helped me out. He was good - a little aloft, but that was okay because I had immediately informed that I was only interested in test driving a car, getting as much information as I could, and that I had NO intentions of buying a car today. I asked to test drive the Fit (because of its price, I had to think about it) and the Civic (which is what was totaled). They didnt have any 2013 Civics, which I thought was odd because in Brooklyn they did, but it was okay. He gave me some information about the Fit, which was really good and it really helped. He got the 2012 Civic and I test drove it. He was great! He was absolutely fantastic, not only because of the test drive, but he answered all of my questions about the car, both 2012 and 2013, and it was a great experience. Then we started talking numbers. I asked specifically for a ball-park figure, within a couple of hundred dollars, so that I had some number to work with. He made a work sheet based on my job, my record, etc. He broke down the numbers for me and explained where different costs would come from, etc. The price he quoted was reasonable and I had actually decided that I would get the Civic...only, I did not want to get it that day. I did not verbalize this, but he convinced me to come back. A really GREAT guy! No pressure, nothing. I then asked Alex R for a copy of his worksheet, so that I could remember all the information he gave me. He said okay....THEN, he brought over his manager, Herbie. Herbie is full of energy, which is great. But he was very very - did I mention, VERY? - aggressive. He asked me what he could do for me to get me to drive the car off the lot that day. I repeated to him that I was not going to buy that day, and I had already made that decision. But that Alex had already answered all of my questions and I would come back. But that was not enough for Herbie. He insisted that he "knew me" and that all I needed was to quote him a price and that he would see if he could make it happen. He mentioned something about $500 Flex money, so that he would take an additional $500 off the price of the car. He wrote a quote on the worksheet. It looked good, but I was not buying that day. I asked him how long that quote was good for, but he did not answer. He then crossed out that number and wrote another. But the whole time he said that he "knew me" and that I could go on the internet and do the research, but that I needed to buy THAT day in order to get the price he quoted. Herbie did not listen to me, as the customer, in that I was not going to buy that day, and that I only wanted to have ball park figures. He acted like he was doing be a HUGE favor by lowering the price $100 or so.I asked for Alex's business card, so that I could go back to him. But Herbie did not recognize that I did not want to buy. He kept on pressuring me to buy a car that I was not ready to buy. He basically acted like a bully. It was very very disturbing. I had come there to make a well-informed decision and to be able to get a replacement car for the one that I had lost. Instead, Herbie ruined the whole experience and made me feel that I should NEVER get a Honda again. So, perhaps I should thank him - I will now most likely be getting a Toyota.

I'm not exactly sure why this dealer gets so many good ratings. I came in here after having visited Huntington Honda ("HH") and was not impressed at all. I dealt with Nathan, and though he was nice at first, he ultimately did not provide a comfortable car buying experience. I told him that I was aware of all the features the car I was looking at (2012 Accord) and that I just wanted to talk about numbers. Even after hearing this, he continued on with his normal sales pitch and attempted to have me test drive a car. He didn't get that I was an educated buyer and knew what I was getting into. Let's just talk numbers, please! I get that car salesman have a job to do and going through the whole pitch is part of that job, but what do you do when you deal with a customer who knows what's going on?! It's called adaptation. Sadly, this did not occur.Nathan brought his manager to talk with me after I had told him the great quote I was getting from HH. I felt as if I was in trouble and that I had done something wrong. The whole time I was made to feel as though I was stupid and did not know what I was talking about. My time was completely wasted and I did not gain anything but a rough estimate on the car I wanted. Without further detail on the numbers, which is all I was looking for, I decided to go back to HH, where I ultimately got my car.I even dealt with a salesman at HH who used to work at Honda City ("HC"), and he said that the salesman there were trained to deal with customers who had just visited from HH. HC knows they can't beat HH so they resort to other tactics. I didn't stick around to find out what those tactics were. Skip HC. Go to HH. You'll be glad you did.

In the month of January of this year, my mother and I had the opportunity in meeting one of your sales representatives named Debbie Edelson. She had helped my mother in such a way that I needed to write this letter to you and share her story. My mother's past sedan had unfortunately caught fire in a rare incident due to a tire blow out on an expressway that month. Although nobody was hurt, she was left car-less, and a bit upset about what to do with her current situation. To make matters worse, her car insurance was not able to pay for the damage ensued because she didn't have full coverage at the time. It was a bummer indeed. My mother was left confused and wasn't sure what outlet to take. Certainly buying a new car would be a big investment and the thought of leasing was all too new for her. We decided to visit Honda City to look at whichever model car would suit her needs.This is when we had the pleasure of meeting Debbie. Unsure of which kind of car to focus on, my mother could not decide whether to get another sedan or SUV. Debbie was more than beyond helpful and had shown her the new CRV that was in the showroom at that time. After seeing the car, my mother had fell in love with it. It was because of Debbie's genuine friendliness and comfort that placed my mother's trust in her. Something she really needed that day.We checked Nissan, Hyundai, and Toyota that afternoon. There was no question that between the trustworthiness of Debbie, and the quality of Honda that made my mother decision to lease her new CRV that day. Debbie was more than patient, helped us out with our financial decisions, and most of all put my mother's mind at rest. To top it all off, Debbie had taken the time much later that evening to show us the whole car from top to bottom. She showed and explained "every button" and described it's function in detail. We chose to return to Honda City after being very satisfied with our previous purchase at this dealer five years ago. Our salesperson, Laurie Corke, helped us back then with the purchase of our 2006 Civic, and it was a pleasure to have her assist us again for our new CR-V! Her sales style is so comfortable for us, since she basically lets the automobile sell itself. When there is a question, she is very knowledgeable and honest with her answers. When it comes time for the numbers, she is just as professional, and we once again felt that she would do her best in order for us to be completely satisfied with all facets of our purchase. Upon delivery, Laurie was just as friendly, helpful and informative. Also working with us on our purchase was Manager Herubeys Santos. Herubeys was a true gentleman, and when we realized that we would have to postpone the delivery by a few days due to a personal matter, he was very understanding and gracious. That is one of the wonderful things about this dealership - we never felt any pressure or sense of obligation. They really do try to work with the customer to make the buying experience as pleasurable as possible. The same could be said for Finance Director Marie Iacono. We never felt pressured into buying any additional aftermarket items that we were not interested in. She was very honest and straightforward about the pricing, and her knowledge of all of these items and services was impressive. Our salesman, Alex, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I can't believe he's only been there for 1 month or so. I wish I had a daughter I could set him up with! He took us through a thorough examinatin of our car and taught us about everything we needed to know. The manager was nice and even took us back to see our new car since we couldn't take it the same day. Why? Because at Babylon Honda, where we had previously visited, the dealer said they had the car but not the paperwork. We ordered the car on Monday and by Friday they still said "They didn't have the paperwork." I don't believe that. I think they sold the car and were waiting for another one, or something like that. We had to go back and get the deposit back (that day) and so we still were on that lease. It just had to be straightened out the next day. The salesman, Charlie Kennedy really showed us no details about the car. The management did absolutely nothing to keep us there. They even tried to give me a my money back with no receipt that it was charged back. So back to Honda City. The finance manager was extremely helpful and made us change our mind about our intended deposit. The manager took my husband back to look at our new car and then he took me back to look at the car, so we could both see the car we were getting and that it was just about ready to go. Alex was exceptional. I would recommend this dealer to absolutely everyone. I'm just a little sorry that when we bought our Maxima (make no mistake, I do love that car), we didn't check out Honda City first and buy either a nice CRV or a fully equipped Accord. Maybe next time!

I completed my purchase through the Costco Auto Program at HondaCity last Saturday. I hate going to car dealers and negotiating for a great price. This was genuinely a pleasurable experience. Never thought I would say that about working with a car dealer. I worked with the manager Herbie Santos and the salesman Charlie over at HondaCity. Herbie was real gentleman no pressure, extremely helpful and very responsive... and got a a great price. Highly recommended I would do it again.

When leasing my new 2011 Odyssey I had a very good experience dealing with Debra. Most of the negotiations where done over the phone before even meeting the salesperson. The appointment was set we picked up the car and were on our way in less than one hour. The paper work was simple and Debra spent an unlimited amount of time with us going over all the features. The first full day we had the car the alarm was not functioning properly. That same day we took it to the service center and it was fixed within 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone leasing or buying a new vehicle.

A colleague of mine who had worked in car sales recommended that I talk to Glenn Christian of Honda City since he new Glenn as a no-nonsense, up-front sales professional. On Sunday 8/22/10, on the way to an early dinner, with my family, we visited Honda City and requested Glenn. I told Mr. Christian that I was interested in a Honda Accord LX. Glenn explained that Honda was running a major sale and showed me the dealers price, I countered. Glenn then took my offer to the sales manager and much to my chagrin, my offer was accepted. I also told Glenn that we were in a hurry and that we could not stay hours to work out the details of my offer. I am not exaggerating, we completed the preliminary paper work within 37 minutes. I was skeptical that my offer was truly accepted and Marie assured me that whatever was on the table was what I was required to complete in order to purchase the LX.On 08/23/10, Glenn had the LX ready for me. I executed the remainder of the sales contract and now I am satisfied owner of a 2010 LX Accord. On 08/23/10 I was at Honda City less than 40 minutes.

I went into the showroom looking to purchase a 2010 Civic Ex and stood around for approxiamtely 5 minutes before I had to approached two salesmen having a conversation and ask for assistance. I was greeted by Steve Cirillo, a nice guy but a little rough around the edges with his sales approach and overall product knowledge. I test drove a Civic DX-VP, a stripped down version as I was told keys weren't available for the Ex that I was interested in. Upon agreeing on a purchase price I was then introduced to Mr. C. Wayne Wellington, the finance manager. While not overly pushy and generally pleasant to deal with, he informs me that the general manager will not take my deposit on a Mastercard because "it costs them big bucks to process the transaction." Needless to say, once I informed Mr. Wellington that I wasn't concerned with the dealership's expense for processing credit card transactions (in not such clean language and requesting a face to face meeting with the general manager, this individual then "calls" Mr. Wellington and the transaction is completed. Overall, while I would still recommend the dealership and wasn't treated badly, the sales staff could use a refresher course in customer satisfaction and left a bit to be desired.

I would definately recommend Honda City's service department. I have not found a more honest knowledgeable service advisor on Long Island. Rich took care of my Honda Element problem with professionalism and honesty. I will start bringing in the E for routine service - it's good to find people who know what they are doing.On the other hand - I had requested (through the internet) a quote on a new Honda. I did receive a note acknowledging they had received it. I also got a call from the internet consultant - but missed it. I called back - 3 TIMES - to speak to Charlie. Well 3 strikes and your out - I never received a return call. Enough for begging for a quote!I recommend their service but certainly am dissapointed with their lack of sales interest. They are not the only dealership on Long Island with this problem - seems in general with Honda dealers - they do the boilerplate response and then their job is done.My job is done also - Hondacity has won my servce business but even though I am paying cash for a new car - they won't know that. Three strikes - your out!

No problems at all. I had a very professional saleswoman. She explained every aspect of the deal, and took her time going over every feature of the vehicle. Everything was above board and straightforward.Pricing was mediocre, about $100 more than Millenium and PS, but $400 cheaper than Huntington. It was really the saleswoman and the convenience of the dealership that clinched the deal for me. The first price she gave me was the final sales price. She wouldn't haggle, but I respect that. I want a dealership that's going to be around for a while. Inventory was OK, but not great.

I leased a car here, and bought a car here. The first time I visited, I got an amazing deal on the lease with no hassle. The sales woman was magnificent and gave me a very fair deal. The next time I came back to buy a car for my wife, I got a very good deal on a left over Civic. The finance guy talked me into an alarm that he told me would cost about $250. I did not want an alarm to begin with, but thought at $250, why not? He told me what the lowest interest rate I could receive was and what my monthly payments would be. I wrote everything down to be sure I remembered everything correctly. A few days later, I picked up my Civic and signed the paperwork. I saw the monthly payments were the same, so I assumed everything was fine. When I got home, I realized that I was charged $800 for the alarm. When I called the finance person to get an explanation, I was yelled at and told that he gave me the same monthly payment and he did not understand what that big deal was. What happened is that when I came in, he lied about the lowest interest rate that I could receive was. He actually gave me a higher rate. Later on, he jacked up the price of the car and lowered the interest rate to obtain the same monthly payment. I was angry and wrote an e-mail to the dealership, they never responded. Like a jerk, I decided to give up and not pursue this issue any more. This was a few years ago, and I am still upset that I did not follow through. The next time I buy a new car, I am going to see if they can fax or e-mail me the contract so that I can review it thoroughly before I sign it. My advice: Try to get the contract to take home, or ask the dealer to send it to you before you coe in and sign. If the dealer wont send you a contract ahead of time, PLEASE READ IT VERY CAREFULLY FROM FRONT TO BACK. The finance guy pressured us into signing the agreement quickly. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS! Spend the 10-20 minutes it takes to go through the whole thing. I lost $550 because I did not spend 10- 20 minutes reading the contract. One additional story about their service center: My Father recently brought his 2008 Honda Accord in for maintenance and he was told that he needed an oil change. The owners manual clearly stated that under the most conservative schedule he was not due for another oil change for 3,000 miles. The guy had the nerve to tell my father that he cant believe everything he reads in the manual. My father is a pretty bright guy, so he said good day and walked out.

WOW I do not know what dealership the people who wrote the bad reviews went to? It is a totally different experience than I have had.I have leased 3 brand new Accords EX-L V6's and my best friend bought a used Accord (basic) from Honda City. They bent over backwards for us. Each deal was done very quickly and we got the color we wanted and the price was always lower than any competitors. They explained all the features and changed the license plate. After 4 cars and a relationship since 2001, I am very happy the way I have been treated. Whenever we wanted a test drive we were allowed to take extra long rides.We were always introduced to the Sales Manager and Service Manager, so that we knew who they were.When I walk into the dealership I am always asked if I need help.I guess you always hear about the complaints and never the more than satisfied people.I never had an argument or was treated with disrespect. THIS IS THE DEALER TO GO TO.

While buying a car at Honda City was a good experience, their service center is AWFUL. I feel that they rip you off - their prices are extremely exorbitant compared to price quotes I've gotten elsewhere. In addition, they will do anything and everything to come up with excuses why NOT to honor their extended warranty. Here's an example - my air conditioner stopped working. It should have been covered under my extended warranty. Honda City told me that that part of my warranty was voided due to a car accident I had had over 5 years prior. However, they quoted me a price of $1900 to fix it. I went to the collision service shop who had fixed my car years ago. He looked at it and said that no way in the world was that due to my accident all those years ago. If the accident caused it, it wouldn't have waited 5 years to fail! He wrote up his report that I submitted to Honda to no avail. Additionally, he wound up fixing it for me for $900 - a whole $1000 less than Honda City had quoted the repair.That is one example - there are others as far as price quotes go.


Stay away. THey will scam you, rip you off and not even...

Stay away. THey will scam you, rip you off and not even blink. I went there a while ago trying to lease a car. I had a trade-in but only wanted to use a part of it as downpayment (about $1200). THe rest, as I specifically told the salesman, I wanted back via check. I told him how much I wanted for the car. HE replied that it would not be a problem and they would cut me a check for the difference. We went out for a test drive and even started talking about colors, while my trade-in was being inspected. Upon our return to the dealership, the salesman went to speak with the manager and gave him all our information. He came back and we quickly agreed on a price (which I thought sounded too good to be true). We were already shaking hands when I asked the guy what the exact amount of the check I'd be receiving would be. His response - "What check?". They accidentally happened to forget the entire deal about giving me the difference between the "total out of pocket" and the value of my trade in back and just calculated the deal based on them just taking my car as it was (car was worth close to $9,000). THis would mean that I was leasing that vehicle at at least $6,000 over the MSRP!!!!!! Outraged I replied that I even said I wanted to pay about $1200 out of pocket. what happened to that? They just looked confused and pretended that the conversation never took place. I ran out as fast as I could.Dont even bother with this place and these people, they are in this business to rip people off and nothing else.

I went to see and possibly purchase a USED 2007 Honda Accord EX Sedan Stock # 27986 that was listed on Honda City's website as a "Demo" with 5,220 miles on it. I test drove it and decided to make an offer. Then as soon as they saw I was interested their attitudes became very obnoxious trying to tell me that this is a "new" car even though the car had 5,220 miles on it. They claim that the car was never titled to anyone only "used" by the manager for his personal use.(but it has 5,220 miles on it). I told them if that's the case and they say it's "new" than I should be entitled to a FULL warranty starting the day I purchase the car. The sales employees at Honda City told me that the warranty would be from the original inception date when they got the car not when I purchase the car and that I would loose the 5,220 miles off the warranty because the vehicle had this mileage on it. I told them this is a Bait and Switch because on Honda City's website this vehicle is listed as "used therefore I should be eligible for the used car warranty which was better than the new warranty. They refused to budge and told me if I was not happy than I should buy a car someplace else.How could a car driven by the manager for his own personal use, have 5,220 miles on it and be considered "new"? The definition of used is "previously owned or used by another".This was a total scam and they should be fined for misleading ads. They did however offer to sell me a 2007 Accord with 4,373 miles on it as a used vehicle but not the car that had 5,220 miles. Go figure a car with less mileage is considered used and the car with higher mileage is considered "new". These sales people should be reprimanded and sales commissions should be lowered for any unethical practices that are done. They need to be reported to any website that consumers go to before buying a car. DO NOT BUY FROM HONDA CITY.

This dealership is a nightmare!!! I would NEVER go there again my expirience was so bad that I called Honda to complain about them and how they need to be shut down. My nightmare began like this went in looking for an 07 Accord EX-L was given an affordable price to lease the car I agreed and gave them a 500 deposit and signed a contract. About 20 mins later after I was moved to another section due to wanting extras on the car I was told that my credit score was not excellent which is what they based my rate at. I asked them how stupid can they be I was 19 and they knew that due to having my license. Alberto spoke with me and told me he would call me in the morning... I got my call back it was almost 3pm and was told in order to acquire the car I would have to pay 7000 down on a LEASE!! I told them to terminate my contract with them due to them being DISHONEST and went to another Honda dealership which gave me not 1 problem and was given the SAME car at a much better price.. Word of advice to anyone go to BARON HONDA in Patchogue they are the best!!!!

I visited Honda City after checking out there internet prices for a Accord and then calling up their sales who said that they would be willing to discount the price further. I took the long journey to Long Island and then was shown the car, but when the time for negotiations came, the sales guy wouldn't give me a chance to talk about decreasing the price or even to think about it. In fact he was downright rude and threatening. And this when I had a legitimate reason to think about -- one of their certified cars had scratches and a very conspicuous scrape on the bonnet.I would never go or speak to these guys again.
