Superb Buying Experience at Holiday Chevrolet!

After 10 years of driving a 1/2 ton truck (that I was still pleased with and did not have to purchase or trade in), I really needed 3/4 ton for my changing needs. I decided to give all Makes, Models, Types, and Local Dealerships a try. I always buy last years Model to catch rebates, incentives, etc.After evaluations and test drives, Holiday had the best inventory. And I was fortunate that Dakota Caddell (Sales) selected me as a person that was "just looking" that late Thursday evening in October.So with the Wife (Boss) whom dislikes vehicle purchasing - except for this time - we were at the dealership. The service department was very friendly. It took about an hour and 45 minutes to get me out of there but it was busy. I would recommend the service department. My truck buying experience was not great. It was very rush and the salesman showed me nothing on my truck. He gave me the keys and went to another customer. I didn't even realize I had free onstar and xm radio trials until I tried to set it up myself.

My experience with Holiday was very professional. I called, told them what I was looking for and what I wanted in a truck and they delivered. I called on Tuesday ( I'm from out of town) and I drove away in my new truck Wednesday. When I arrived at the dealership they had all paperwork ready and waiting. They never tried to sell me something else. Rachel was very knowledgeable and helpful when explaining all of the features on my new truck. She also followed up a week later to see if she could assist in anything else. I am totally pleased with my truck and the service I received from Holiday.

I hate high pressure salesmen and the blatant gimmicks that some people will use to try and manipulate you into making a huge investment.Buying a new vehicle has never been easier for me. David Johnson knew the answer to every question I had about my truck, no pressure, no sales gimmicks. David found out why I wanted a truck, found the best one with the options I needed, and made it work within my budget. This was like buying a car from a trusted friend. For once, financing a new vehicle was also stress free. Holiday uses a paperless process that made things a lot easier. Internet experience

I'm retired. Worked with Grand Prairie ford, Five Star Ford, and Grapevine Ford before my purchase. There version of Internet sales is talk to you and get you in. I finally made a deal with Grand Prairie Ford, went to get my wife, and they sold the truck. 2 weeks later I find what I'm looking for at Holiday Auto Group in Whitesboro Tx. About 60 miles from my home. The price was fantastic. Contacted them, soon I was called by Kraig Clements. He asked me to send info and pics of my trade, payoff, and lien holder. He also ask my limits on payment. After he processed that, he said it was workable. Only then did he have us fill out the online credit. The next morning he called and said deal is done. Payment was much less than my limits. Drove out, truck was temp tagged, full of fuel, and ready to go. In 30 minutes, I was on my way home. THAT IS TRUE INTERNET SALES! We will never consider another dealership again.

I have read a lot of good reviews about this dealership but it still makes me wonder why I didn't get the same treatment...the majority of people that do work there are nice but there is still this bad taste in my mouth with this dealership...dont get me wrong I love my truck but it has been like pulling teeth to get anything done regarding the tag ..the paperwork and the amount of time everything takes is just ridiculous..I talked to the GM on the phone and he didn't seem sorry or apologetic at all...

Great Price No Haggling

Searched a 750 mile sweep from my home and found the best deal by far at Holiday Chevrolet in Whitesboro Texas. One email followed by a short phone call and the deal was done. Great bunch of guys at Holiday Chevrolet and I could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Nic Greene (salesman) - easiest transaction I ever had.

Don't waste your time

Typical dealer games. Waste your time and gas driving 70 miles only to find they've sold the car out from under you after telling you it was available and please come in. Never again.

Price gouging

Not an honest dealership. Listed vehicle stock #CU125588 for sale online at $24k. Drove out and they told me it was sold. The very next day the exact same listing was back up at $27k. Apparently if they get a lot of interest in a vehicle they will lie to buyers and raise the price.

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle (5 years old) from this dealership. I had an issue with an interior trim piece that was not covered by the extended warranty. The service and finance departments worked together and replaced the piece at no cost to me. They definitely did not have to do this, but that's how great customer service works!

Needed a Larger Vehicle

I contacted Holiday Chevrolet about a certain vehicle I had seen online. My car is just too small to carry all the items I need to, my son is a junior archer, so I started looking for a vehicle with more cargo space. I really thought it would take a while, several days at least after I had located the one I wanted. Well, was I wrong......These guys got me approved and had everything waiting on me when I got to the dealership, it took about an hour to finish up!!! They were wonderful, and very easy to work with, I had an awesome experience at Holiday Chevrolet with Kraig Clement, and Travis (in sales).

Very pleased! Internet Sale!

Was looking for a hard to find Colorado in my hometown of Kansas City and none were to be found. Shopped the internet and found one at Holiday. Great no haggle price and helped me get a great rate. I drug my feet a little bit and the truck sold, but the team at Holiday bought another one from another dealer and gave me the same great price! Drivers brought it up to KC for a very reasonable rate. Doing a sale like this was scary not having made a large purchase like this online and by phone, but they made it easy and communications with them were were great. No hidden costs, friendly staff and got what I wanted! Couldn't have gone better! If they have what you want at the price you are comfortable with, go ahead and do it where ever you are!

New Car Purchase

Due to a recall on the ignition for the Camaro our purchase took longer than usual. However Page and John kept in touch and made sure that in the end we were completely satisfied. On top of that John worked some serious magic to get us in the monthly payment we felt comfortable with and we ended up with more than we expected. To be honest, no matter where I move be it NY, FL or the Fiji Islands I'll always buy my cars from Holiday Chevrolet. NOT a good experience at Holiday Chevrolet in Whitesboro, TX

The Service and Communication from the dealership has been VERY POOR since the date of purchase. I sent 3 days worth of E-mails to the salesman I delt with Kraig Clement and got no response. So I called and talked to Gregg Hodge (Sales Manager) and he said that just isn't like Kraig to do that. He has been really busy. They did not get the check delivered to the License Bureau when they said they would, so i got to waste an hour in line at my local DMV. I had to wait 3 days to get a call back from the finance department after leaving voice mail messages. My XM radio quit working, so I E-mialed Gregg and Kraig for 3 days in a row and NO response from either of them. I asked for 2 hats and Kraig said I would get those. Still waiting on them to come in, their out. But they told me to call and remind them to send them. So nice that I have to call and remind them of something they promised me. So, luckily I got to deal with Mary (in the title transfer office) and she was fabulous on over nighting the check for the tags. She was VERY honest and admitted that they dropped the ball on not getting the check delivered on time. Mary is the only person that has been helpful and straight forward. Then I was contacted by David Johnson in the Customer Service Department to see about my issues. Gregg Hodge said he would get back with me, but never did. David said that "E-mail wasn't working correctly" and "it's the end of the month so the finance office is really busy" All excuses in my opinion. I have never heard of any service company being O.K. with a 72 hour or longer turn around on answering E-mails or Voicemail messages. Maybe by day 4 I will be contacted by someone about the XM radio not working. I tried the chat option today on the website and the guy said he will turn over the details to the "team". I am very frustrated that when I was looking at buying the Suburban I got my E-mails and phone calls returned within minutes and now that they have my money. It takes 3 plus days and me having to try and contact 3 different people to get any kind of response. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE

My experience was very unbelievable I didn't think I was able to get the car for the price I was quoted over the phone. He had three cars pulled out just like he said he would. The price was even lower than expected. I'm overwhelmed. I drove 90 miles and don't regret it one bit. David is a man of his words, no game playing like most sales men. 2013 Tahoe LTZ

I was well satisfied with my auto purchase experience. I contacted Ryan Roberts in advance to make sure the unit I was interested in was available. He said it was and that he would have it up front for me to look at upon arrival. He was good for his word, and David Johnson showed me the vehicle. It was indeed what I expected, and both Ryan and David were very courteous and helpful through the whole experience. I did not have verification of my USAA membership (which was worth $750) and Ryan provided the information I needed to get the verification delivered to the dealership. I was also on a tight schedule, and both these guys were very accomodating with regard to getting the paperwork done quickly and efficiently. I am well pleased with my experience at Holiday.

Best deal found - Worth 3hr drive!

After searching new 6.2L Silverado inventory from numerous sources, Holiday was the only dealership with a unit available for purchase, so this was instantly a +1 for them. After talking price, they were far and away cheaper on an upgraded model, compared to standard Silverado's, so another +1. My trade unit had a couple of mechanical issues, so I hadn't received stellar appraisals from other dealership, so optimism was low on that element of the deal, but they topped other appraisals by $4k, so yet another +1. The ultimate vehicle I desired would include aftermarket options, so with Ryan's patient assistance in working with 4 Wheel Parts, he was able to put together the perfect package of tires/wheels/lift/boards/bedliner/etc at a super competitive bargain......yet another +1.Through financing, delivery and follow-up, Ryan was A+ and would definitely recommend dealing with him and Holiday Chevrolet in the future!

Trust and Confidence

I have been dealing with Holiday Chevrolet since 2004. My husband and I purchased a Suburban in West Texas but lived near the Holiday Chevrolet dealership and they have done almost all the maintenance on that vehicle. It now has 330,000 miles on it and our son is now driving it. We met Kraig in 2011 when we decided we needed a 2nd vehicle. I had used their website to check the used vehicles available and found our newest Suburban. Kraig showed it to us as well as comparison vehicles and once decided on he worked to get us the best deal and financing he could. Our son needed a 2nd car so we gave him our first Suburban and once again turned to Kraig for a 2nd vehicle and couldn't have been more pleased with his help. We loved our last vehicle but my husband was caught in a terrible hail storm in West Texas and it just destroyed it. I have never gone by myself to look for a vehicle, but this was one of those circumstances it was necessary for me to do it. I called Kraig and he was just super. I was put at ease and felt the trust and confidence with him to decide what I wanted and felt he had my best interest at heart. Thank you Kraig Clement for making a stressful situation very easy for me. I only wish that more dealerships would learn from all the departments of Holiday Chevrolet how customers should be treated. My husband and I will continue to be loyal customers.

Execelent Car Shopping Experience!

Car shopping is always difficult, dealing with greedy sales people, looking at lemon after lemon, and the stress of spending a large sum of money... Holiday Chevrolet made it easy. I started the process by searching online. I corresponded back and forth with the sales people and the price and truck were as advertized when I showed up. They even fixed the few flaws the truck had in the pictures that were posted online. I really appreciate that because I had to drive over an hour to get there. There is nothing worse than feeling disappointed or lied to after a long drive as has happened time and time again. I can't say enough about the sales team and finance team that made my purchase such a smooth transaction. They didn't try to up-sale me or finagle numbers to get more money out of me. Holiday Chevy has it right! They were friendly, congenial and helpful. They were trusting of us and that inspired our trust in them. We initially contacted them online and they do work with you based on that. Highly recommend this method. Their finance manager is awesome! Very nice too! I was looking to stay in the Texoma area and I believe I have found my dealership to go to!After our experience, we recommended them to my brother-in-law who was in the market.
