We came all the way from MA to buy a 2003 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. From the first contact, every interaction was professional - and fun, too! These guys love what they do and instead of putting pressure on you, they put it on themselves to make sure you are taken care of. They were extremely helpful, honest, and easy to talk to. They also treat everyone with respect - as two women buying a truck, we met with none of the confusion and condescension we got from many other dealers. The pleasant experience comes from working with salespeople that know they have a good product, price it fairly, and go over the car in detail so they know it well. I actually waited a month to post this, just to say I've had no problems with this truck, we love it, it's exactly what we wanted. By the way, one of the questions on this survey is, "were you left alone", well, actually - yes, they let us test drive the car by ourselves. It was *so* great to drive it and talk privately about it without having a salesman in the back breathing down your neck. So, yes, they gave us time to talk about the decision, but were always there (via phone, email, or in person) to make sure we were all set. Great meeting you guys!

My reason I gave a high rating because I had an experience that was so stress free and absolutely pleasurable. The staff there are so friendly, have good personalities, and answer every question asked w/o a hassle. They did whatever they could to help me not only get a good finance rate but a reasonable payment plan. I can truly say they are a good team and work well with each other as well as with customers. The dodge dakota was purchased a couple of days ago and I was happy with the service and hospitality of the owner ( Lou ) and salesman ( Mike ) Tried to haggle with them but neither would budge on the price..So far the truck has been running fine. I have a rubbing sound coming from the front right side of the tire, but I think its because of possibly new brakes put on and it needs time to wear in...Again I thought the truck was bought at a fair price...

Very friendly, professional and helpful is how I would describe the staff at Highline and a very good buying experience overall. I went there after seeing a couple of trucks online and contacted them through their website setting up test drives. The prices on both were very competitive and I decided to purchase one of the two trucks. On the day we completed the sale they were nice enough to pick me up from my home and then when there was an issue with outstanding tax due they drove me back to my town so I could pay that off at town hall to get all DMV issues clear. I dealt with Peter Sell who could not have been more helpful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a used vehicle.

Everyone over at Highline Car Connection was more than happy to help answer any and all questions and concerns regarding the new car. I was unable to call during the day with restrictions at work and Charlie was more than happy to assist me via text messaging and even provided his own personal number to help make the process go smoothly for purchasing the new vehicle. They went above and beyond to assure that my car buying experience was a smooth process! There was no pressure into purchasing the car and everyone was super friendly. The condition of the car was exactly how they explained it online. I would definitely recommend people to shop here!

These guys did a great job. Super friendly, helped right away upon arrival to test drive a truck I was interested in. Very clean, well prepared. Peter Sell was very easy to work with, no pressure. The price was reasonable, spot on for what it was worth. I had a few administrative issues closing the deal, and had come from an hour away on the other side of the state. The staff found a way to make it work to save me a trip. Based on the quality of what was on the lot, competitive prices, and good customer service I would definitely look to buy here again.

Emailed back and forth with Charlie for a few days and got all my questions answered via email. When it came time to purchase I drove down to Waterbury and it was simple. Quick in and out. Respectful employees, who try their best to get you the vehicle that you are looking for. Usually sitting in a dealership can take up to hours and sometimes it is multiple trips back and forth. Here, it took and hour max. Couldn't of asked for a better experience when buying a car.

I knew what I was looking for when I got to HCC. I met Peter when I walked in the door and he got right to business. Showed me the vehicles I was interested in and NEVER pushed me outside my price range. He even jumped through hoops to help me with my car insurance on a weekend, which was probably a pain for him. Thank you Mike Lou and DanProfessional, no pressure quick and easy.I will not fluff this all up fact is these guys were great to do business with.Yes I read all I repeat all or at least 75% of the reviews I could fine both pro and con.I work with the public and can't make everybody happy all the time there are the difficult ones.Yes more than your are entitled too. If you buy a car as is what don't you understand that means you leave the lot you own it. Anyway we bought two, a 2004 as is and a 2013 with 60 days. Notice a problem with 2004 yes we will fix before you take and then on the way home noticed another problem. I waited till we went back to pickup 2013 to discuss it. Well before I could say anything Dan in services tells me your parts are here including the ones for the problem I noticed after I left the night before. Yea we noticed that when we prepped the truck for you two days ago.Great jobs guys

This dealer was great, applied for credit online, they were very prompt in returning my call. They worked with me on my time and schedule to come in to purchase car. The car was in FANTASTIC condition. Nothing back handed or "sneaky" was done. Car was all detailed, loan was easy and QUICK to process. Very friendly, professional and courteous staff. I've never had a car buying experience be so easy!

Although I found the vehicle I was looking for 45 minutes from my house, I have to say that Highline Car Connection was worth the drive. They have a great inventory of vehicles to meet the needs of all customers. The original truck I was interested in was no longer available, but with the assistance of Charles I was able to look and test drive other trucks until I finally found the right one for me. Charles gave me great information, many options and allowed me to have my own time to consider with no pressure.While my wife and I waited for my trade appraisal, we met a gentleman by the name of "Willy". We had a good chat and that made me and my wife feel comfortable and welcome. I was Financed on the spot by Lou in finance. It was an awesome and painless experience. He answerd all our questions and made the process easy to follow. On the day that we picked up my vehicle it took less than 15 minutes. Our paperwork was all set. I must say this was the least I have every waited for delivery of a new vehicle.During my drive home, I found out that my truck might need a rebalancing of the wheels. I made a call to Dan in service. At the beginning, I thought I was going to get the "Well you probably did something to it Mr. Dones" (lol), but that was not the case. Dan immediately made arrangements for me to come back and my issue was resolved. I had a great experience and highly recommend Highline Car Connections. Their team will take great care of you. I drove from New York ... walked in looking for a black accord coupe left with a red one even though I hate red the car was in great shape .... Kevin the salesman made it very easy and smooth everything done in one day I don't have great credit and was approved with less interest rate then my state of New York great price ... I even work for a dealership and it was easier buying from them then my own dealership and that says a lot!!

Recently I was in the market for purchasing a reliable used car. I had a specific car in mind and checked out several local dealerships. I went to Highline Car Connection which initially did not have the car I was looking for, so I left my name and phone number with the salesman. A couple weeks went by and I got a phone call from Peter Sell, one of the salesmen at Highline. He told me he got a car in that he thought I would like and invited me in for a test drive. I was very excited. My father and I met Mr. Sell at Highline and sure enough he had a beautiful Honda Accord which was exactly what I was looking for. Mr. Sell was very thorough in telling me all about the car and I never felt pressured into buying it at all. Mr. Sell was very knowledgeable and comforting as we worked through all the details of the purchase. I had a great experience dealing with Highline and specifically with Mr. Sell. I have had the car for about a month now and its just perfect! Thank you for the great customer service! I will definitely tell my friends and family about Highline Car Connection.

From the start my experience was amazing! I called and wanted to look at the car 30 minutes before they closed and they were still okay with it. Once i decided to buy the car the process was easy and diligent. When time came for me to pick up the car and my friends who said they would help me pick up the car, last minute told me could not. Highline Car Connection was there to help me out! They sent someone out to pick me up and bring me to the dealership in order to bring the car home! Excellent customer service! I bought a 2013 Ford focus from them, I've had nothing but problems since day 1!!!!!! This is the third time it's been in to be fixed in the last 2.5 months, this time the transmission went!!! Save your money and go somewhere else. The owners Mike and Lou are rude xxxxxxxx, both jokes. Of course it's not their problem, going down to the DMV and callingthe news to embarrass them on national television. Stay far away from this place. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This dealership is terrible. Purchased a vehicle from them and they sold it to me without the lock for the wheel lugs. When I mentioned this to them they had no interest in my issues and was very hesitant about rectifying the problem. There main focus is to get your money and not show the customer that special type of care you deserve when purchasing a vehicle. I will never walk into this crooked dealership ever again. Also when I went to pick up the vehicle it wasn't even ready no detail or nothing whatsoever. Had to literally wait 2hrs for the delivery of my vehicle. Very unorganized as well.

I recently purchased VW Routan from Highline. I also purchased Infinity G35 a few years ago from them. Great experience on both occasions. Employees were professional and very knowledgable regarding all the vehicles I was interested in. I personally dealt with Peter most of the time on both occasions and he did not remind me of a typical used car salesman. He listened to me in what I was looking for and did not try and push me in any other vehicle just for a sale. I was very pleased with my overall experience and recommend this dealership to anyone that is in the market for a used vehicle.

Purchased used 2002 Lexus RX 300 in December 2015. Everyone seemed helpful and courteous at time of sale. Then, when I called to advise them that the tires on the auto had dry rot and starting to bulge out, they didn't want to hear it. Of course not. Replacement cost is over$800.00. Yes, you purchase used cars as is, but their inspection claimed that tires were good.. They claimed I had buyer's remorse after I advised them of other repairs that I paid for. Would never advise a friend to purchase there. The company does not want to work with the customer to resolve the problem. Attitude is, oh well. You have buyer's remorse. Ridiculous.

I recently purchased a truck from HCC and couldn't have been more pleased with them. First off, they have a great selection. I went there knowing I wanted a newer pickup, and I was able to try out a bunch of different makes, models, and trim levels before I finally came to a decision. I'm sure I drove the salesman (Charlie) crazy trying them all, but he was great. I never felt pressured, I never felt that "used car salesman" vibe that we all know. And when it came time to talk numbers, Charlie and Lou were able to give me a great deal on my trade in, and a great deal on the truck, to get my payments where I wanted them to be. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with them again in the future, or recommend them to others. I'm a very satisfied customer, driving around in an awesome, new truck.

I went in just looking casually for a ford truck.the sales men pete who is great showed me the truck i wanted test drove it we did the paperwork and drove it home the next day. everything went smooth and easy no pressure no gimmicks even called me the next day to see how i liked the new truck and if everything was up to my expectations. i would go back to buy another vehicle in the future.

Our son recently totaled our 2004 Honda Pilot. It put us in a position that we had never been in before. We needed to find a quality used car in a hurry. We wanted another pilot and we stumbled upon one at Highline. We had no connection to them whatsoever. Our salesman Charlie came through on every promise and he fulfilled all our expectations and our requirements for the used vehicle. A day after purchasing a $26,000 truck from them I felt a vibration at 50 miles per hour I take it back to them and after supposedly balancing the tires they tell me they could not fix it and that it's not a safety issue so they're not going any further with it. And my brother also purchased a car from them and so did his wife and all three of us only received one key for our cars. These guys are the worst stay away !

I purchased a 2008 Honda Civic from Highline back in August. The lot had a tremendous selection regardless of what you're in search of. At first I arrived and browsed around for a while before going inside. Other than a couple polite offers to help there was no one swarming me or pressuring me about what I was looking for or what I wanted to spend etc. I finally went inside and it was so simple. They understand that this is a business like any other. They want to make a decent living and I wanted to buy a reliable vehicle worth the price assigned to it. No messing around or being persuaded this way and that. They're here to put you in the car you chose. And they'll do everything in their power to insure the car is in the condition they have advertised. I chose the car I wanted and initiated the purchase through my bank. Now there was a discrepancy on my banks end that Highline didn't have to take any part in. But Lou being experienced and having encountered this issue before, got on the phone and made it happen. I head out and I'm good to go. I a few days later I noticed some sway and bounce in the rear of the vehicle. I called to speak to the shop and they checked my purchase agreement which had no warranty. they were not liable to service my car. Now in used cars there are a myriad of things tat can be wrong and even the most skilled mechanic could miss it. The integrity is in how you handle something noticed. Lou had me bring the car in and they replaced the rear suspension for free. Now every situation is unique of course, but I was blown away. Now here I am 6 months later and I love my car. it's needed nothing but oil changes. Thanks you Highline Car Connection!

We bought a car there and told we will be giving 2 keys. Take the car home and put one key away and use 1 of the keys for a while. Then we final try to use the new key. It doesn't open the door. Try in ignition. It does not fit. Call Highline. Speak to 3 people. The say "We gave you 2 keys." But, one key doesn't work. Reply So, we gave you 2 keys. They refuse to supply 2 second working key. Spend $15k and they refuse to give you they second key they said you would get before purchase. What jerks.

bought a $20000 car from this place, should have known when they said you buy as is with no warranty, but I have had so many problems it's only been 5 weeks, the car doesn't start some days, no manual, waited almost 3 weeks for my extra key and paperwork to even put it on the road. ridiculous, horrible customer service after I bought the vehicle and would call abt anything (spoke to mike) he was rude and acted like I was annoying them. well I just bought a 20,000 dollar vehicle from you people. Dealt with Mike at h.c.c.. We spoke a few times over the phone. I was hours away coming from Massachusetts. I filled out in online application. He told me I was approved he told me I needed 1800 down. After my long all day ride 3 hour ride! And taking the day off from work. Got there and Mike said the bank bailed out. He wanted 3,000 down and the car payments for the month were so not affordable! He kept saying let me go talk to my boss!!!! Boss was rude and a Scam artist. Very unprofessional there. Mike and his boss. Boss was also rude to us. Didnt seem to care.Waste of my day, my . Time. Rude and they are all scam artist and all lie.... don't wast your tim!!! . I bought a car from Peter Sell at Highline Car Connection about two years ago. Found out today that the car had been rear-ended before I bought it. I was told at the time of sale that the car had never been in an accident. I was already annoyed and insulted with my experience at HCC, but this was the final straw.I felt pressured into buying the car for thousands more than it was worth. They showed other customers the car I was interested while I was there, even though there were comparable alternatives. The entire process felt rushed and uncomfortable.Once I had paid for the car, they told me that I could not drive it home because they didn't realize I would be registering it in Massachusetts. They told me this after photocopying my Mass. license and after I gave them a Mass. address. Very unprofessional oversight.It was winter, so I had them put the winter tires that I had leftover from my last car on the new car. Come spring-time I realize they gave me four mismatched tires, rather than the four that were originally on the car when I test drove it. Turns out that two of the tires they gave me were egg-shaped and caused a violent vibration that haunted me for over a year until I swapped out the tires. I of course didn't realize this until it was far too late because I had them put the winter tires I provided on the car.Overall, a very shady operation. Peter Sell was the least shark-like out of the group, so I can't imagine what it would have been like to deal with the other bottom-feeders. I would never buy another car from Highline Car Connection and would not recommend them to anyone.

I drove an hour to buy this car and had to leave empty handed. This dealership preys on middle to low income families and does not treat them with the respect they deserve. High Line Auto has a variety of used cars, but the service is terrible. Evan and "Lou" are the epitome of sleazy car salesmen. When I wanted more time to process the deal we had worked out they tried to rush me into purchasing on the spot. Aside from that they are not honest businessmen. When I negotiated the best possible deal for the car and was ready to buy they were rude and disrespectful. I pleasantly asked the manger for his last name and he asked me "why do you want to get all in my business". The Honda I was interested in still had the previous owner's belongings in it. They were asking $21,000 for it and they hadn't even bothered to clean it?They are total con artists. On the bright side, I walked out with my cash, my trade-in, and my purchasing power. THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!!

When I purchased my vehicle from Highline Car Connections, the owner, Lou, promised me that my vehicle would have free oil changes for the life of the car. I called today (04/17/14), and was told they no longer offer this deal. I spoke with Mike today (4/17/14) and he was very rude and offered no apologies. He hung up on and me and when I called back to talk to Lou he threatened the police on me. I told Mike I would show up in person and ask for Lou and he said I wasn't allowed on the property and actually sent the police to my house. This place is nothing but a rip off and everyone working there loves to lie and offer false promises until you buy the car. Once you buy your car they treat you with the worst level of customer service I have ever endured. Please be warned this place is Horrible and they have pages of complaints on the better business bureau with a bad rating!

The salesman and entire team at the dealership worked with me to meet my needs and I am very overjoyed with my new suburu outback. They took there time trying to find me the right vehicle because I am having twins and need space, but wasn't looking for anything gigantic. I was shopping for a Honda Civic and kept coming across Highline Car Connection in my searches. I called and and found out that the one I called about was already sold, but Evan said that he had others that were available that were similar and directed me to their direct website. I was impressed that their direct website was 100% up to date and it had many pictures of each car. I made an appointment to come down and see a few cars for the next day. When I arrived the next day I drove two cars and picked the one I liked best. I was replacing a car so I didn't have a trade in. They explained to me they work with many banks and they could arrange financing for me and because of my good credit, I would qualify for a good interest rate. We worked out a price that I was happy with and I returned my rental car and had them drop me back at Highline and drove home my new car all within a few hours. My car was clean and I was very happy. Overall, I was very impressed at their selection, honesty, and proficiency in the process. It was the easiest car buying experience I have had.

Made nearly an hour trip to purchase a vehicle. I emailed over all of my documents (income verification, title of car I was trading...) to give them a chance to work on things prior to my arrival. I called to notify the sales person I was dealing with that I was on my way up, he was not there and nobody else was familiar with my file. The sales manager (who could possibly be the owner) told me to take the trip up and I would be taken care of. The sales person who met me was nice and very knowledgeable. After test driving a few cars, we decided on a vehicle to purchase. I was trading in a 2012 civic EX-L with 8700 miles. Through research online I was able to find close to 20 cars with same year and similar miles selling between $18705 and $21000 with the fair market purchase price being $19934. The car I was trading was hit by a deer and had minor body work done to the right side of he car. I accounted for that when I ran the "fair market" trade in value for this car which was put at $16385 - giving the dealer a market spread of $2,000 to $4000 when re-selling. The car I was looking at was priced at $14990 (this number was about $900 above fair market value for a purchase from a dealer). When we sat down to work on some numbers I was told they would offer me $14000 for my car. I understand there has to be a starting point for all negotiations, like it or not, so I took the next move and said, that is over $2000 below fair market trade in value for that car. The sales person said unfortunately that is the best number they can put on it and they don't have any room to move on the car I was interested in. With that, without any solicitation or request for assistance, the sales manager (again, could also be the owner) got up out of his chair and walked over and said in very condescending tone, "look, it's a civic. It's not worth what you want and the only place you're going to get anything even close to that number is going to a Honda dealership where they can certify the car." After a brief discussion, he completely dismissed me and walked away. I am not sure if this is how they set the tone for their negotiations or if they actually didn't want to do business with me. I was ready to purchase a car, no financing needed and this guy just dismissed me. I made the decision at that point, I didn't want to buy a car from them. I picked up my stuff and left. The next day, I found the identical car I was looking at, with 50k miles less and priced nearly 2k under it's fair market purchase price. It still had 30k miles left on its full bumper to bumper BMW warranty and guess what...with out a single bit of negotiation they offered me $16000 for my civic. Nope, it was not a Honda dealership. The sales manager at Highline either doesn't have a good understanding of his business OR he is just and arrogant fool who lacks the basic skills needed to work in the field of direct sales, either way, as long as he is associated with that dealership, I would steer clear of them. This is exactly the type of dealership that gives used car dealers a bad name.

All I can say is WOW :( I go through the whole process of buying this car and it comes down to negotiation. I start asking the service manager questions about the financing and attempt to start the negotiation process. The manager (name of unknown, because he wasn't even professional enough to give it to me) immediately turns into a total JERK! He takes the defensive and wont give me the information I am asking for. Let me first tell you that I have bad credit but regardless he still stands to make a sale! He flat out tells me "we won't negotiate". REALLY????? Has anyone ever heard of a non-negotiable car purchase (other than Carmax)? He was a complete xxxxxx to me, After literally 3 minutes in his office I walked! We are talking about the purchase of a car that has been for sale for 4 months, yes 141 days to be exact! I wasn't asking to take away all his profit, I agree that they are in business to make money, but to flat out say I'm not negotiating ANYTHING. Thank god I didn't buy a car from him, what if I was the uninformed consumer who bought the car for the sticker price....why would I want to deal with someone like this if the car need service or had a problem within the warranty period? No thanks, I'm good...that's all folks. STAY AWAY!

Shady Dealership.I do not recommend this dealership due to the shady ways of the owner and/or sales people. The sticker price is very high... and they sold me a car with a loose lug nut. Yes a loose (loose enough you could twist off easily) lug nut. I drove miles down the highway with this... I couldn't even fathom what would have happened if my boyfriend didn't notice. I should have returned the car right then. Anyway...they fail to disclose pertinent information such as car fax reports and the owner has an "I'm better than you attitude". I purchased a used Mazda Protoge5 with 80000 miles on it in Febuary from Yankee Auto/Highline Car Connection. Within an hour after purchasing the vehicle it would not start without being in Neutral. I brought the car back and the salesman Charlie explained that the wires may have been dirty and to try again. I did and it worked. A week later the back hatch on the vehicle completely rusted off rendering the door inoperable. I went back to the dealership and was told I had to pay for it to be fixed and I refused and asked for a refund on the car the manager began to shout and cuss about how he wasn't going to fix it and that if I got a refund it would count as a repossession on my credit even though only a week had passed. Highline played to my ignorance of buying a car for the first time. Three months later the engine is now completely blown Highline hangs up on my phone calls and refuses to do Anything to fix my car. I have a warranty on the vehicle and they are no help because of various loopholes in the contract. I am very upset because I now do not have a car to travel back and forth to work and I was clearly scammed by horrible business practices

I had a great experience dealing with Charlie and Mike and I felt confident that my daughter would have a quality used car. Its great knowing that my daughter can just bring her car up to get free oil changes whenever she needs them! Nothing but lies at Highline. Pictures of the F150 I was interested in showed running boards and plow hardware. Advertised w/ 101k miles and running boards. $12995. Got there to find no plow hardware,no running boards and 118k miles. Price unchanged. I was 1st told it was bought at auction and always serviced at Ford. Later I was told it was on consignment and NOT bought at auction. I ran the VIN at ford and found it to have never been serviced at ford and had 3 outstanding major safety recalls on it. I was told in august it had been there for a month, but the pictures had no leaves on the trees..later admitted it had been there since winter. Given the varied stories I chose not to buy it. When I got my deposit back I personally witnessed them using photoshop to remove the dents and scratches from the truck for its new listing. Now the ad was correct but they raised the price to 13995. Too many lies, and editing the photos just isnt right. After I pointed out why I chose not to purchase it they got really nasty in emails about me wasting their time and playing games with them. Sorry, but they wasted my time with their lies, but im glad I was on to them or I would have been sorry later Im sure. I will never recommend them.

I went to this dealer completely new to the car buying experience, when i pulled into the place i was able to look around freely, i was asked once if i needed any help and i told the man i was just looking around. I was left alone and not pressured, when i found the car i fell in love with i was able to test drive the car right away and since i wasn't familiar with the area they sent someone with me so i didn't get lost. i was able to take a nice long test drive and and really fall in love with how the car drove. they gave me a very reasonable offer on my trade in, a 98 Honda civic, and after a little bit of paperwork i found out i was approved for a loan with a very reasonable interest rate. i picked up my infinity g35x the next day, it went through a complete safety check, i got new brakes all around and new tires too! they even gave the car a full detail, it looked like a brand new car. if your looking to buy a used car this is the place to go!!!

It was such a bad job, I couldn't believe a professional did it. I asked to see the receipt. They refused. I called the upholstery shop they said they took it to and they said they did not do the work. The owner of Highline then refused to fix the items and said the car was "as is". I have contacted an attorney.

Very Friendly, but overpriced, was quoted a specific price and told he would write it up, he gave me a card which had the title sales manager. When I asked for the carfax he left and came back and said he had to talk to the sales manager (which I was under the impression he was from the business card he gave me). He produced the car fax but said he was not able to sell the car to me on the price that he quoted me that the sales manager would not allow it (The quoted price was the mean selling price of the cars that I had been looking at, so it was not by any means a "low ball price"). When I asked why he was going back on his word he stated to me "I was going to write it up and ask the sales manager to approve the deal" I was under the assumption that write it up meant sell it to me for this price since I was at the stage that I was going to write a check for him (which he did say that the dealership typically doesn't take buy he would "OK" the check for a deposit on the car since the car needed a few repairs before I could take it anyways. They are not reputable, they go back on their word. I did buy the same car for $1500 cheaper at another dealer.

I think the overall experience was very comfortable and there was no pressure for me to purchase anything. They also gave me the number for a company that lowered my insurance rate $100 a month. They might not budge from advertised pricing very much, but their pricing is very reasonable, especially in comparison to other dealerships (and the fact that you get free oil changes for the life of the car is a nice plus as well)

Just be careful, the mis-represented the mileage on my car, ad said 100,000 miles, but odometer read 118,022 and lou defended the misleading advertising. I noticed another car on their website listed with 100,000 miles, but when questioned they admitted 112,000+ miles were on the odometer.Also, there is a replacement radio that disables the 6 cd player feature of the original radio in the car. Just sneaky!They are reluctant to lower their advertised prices for any reason.
