We are quite pleased with our purchase and our dealings with Arthur Pigford, the primary sales representative with whom we worked, and with Jonathan Langford, who assisted us at one point, also. Both of these men are consummate professionals, knowledgeable of their products, and honest and straightforward in providing information and answering our questions. I had the pleasure of working with David Kim. David is extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, and has a wonderful personality. I wasn't immediately able to decide on the vehicle that I wanted and changed my mind several times. David, probably one of the most patient people I have ever met, worked calmly with me until we could come up with a plan together. Through strategic planning and David's expertise, my buying experience was a breeze. On the day that I decided to purchase, I was in and out within 1.5 hours! I settled on the Caviar 2016 RX 350 FSport. David set up everything in my truck and even volunteered to drive all the way to my home to program my garage to the truck if I needed. Now that's great customer service! I am typically a hard person to please and am very sensitive to people's spirits. I felt that, as soon as I met him, David would be the person to get me in my dream vehicle. David deserves infinity stars for outstanding service and a huge promotion as well!!Additionally, David did not once try to pressure me or suggest that I buy something I did not want or need. He listened to me and worked only to get me what I wanted and nothing more!

Bought my 2010 GS 350 from Hemnesy. Mark Hennesy is a great dealer. Not sure what my next vehicle will be, but it will be bought at a Hennessy dealership. They have professional sales and service people, unlike the chain dealerships. Completely different experience than the chain dealers. My ex leased a BMW for my son from a chain dealership. I went with her and it was a horrible experience. Take my word stick with a Hennesy dealership. I sent a friend to their Honda dealership and she called me and thanked me for the buying experience.

We have been dealing with Hennessy Lexus since the 1990's having bought and leased several vehicles.Our service advisor has been the same (Tony C.) for the whole time. We did look at some other makes and dealers occasionally but always came back to Hennessy. Both my wife and I think that this is a first class operation in both sales and service and far superior to the competition.

Hennessey Lexus of Atlanta is the best auto dealership one could ever hope to find. Their level of professionalism is far superior to most auto dealerships in the USA. Their service department is by far fantastic in that their sales people have been there a long time and are fair and honest and they give no pressure. I have been dealing with this dealership since 1992. I have purchased six automobiles from Hennessey Lexus in in the next few months I will be purchasing the seventh vehicle.

I just had my Lexus IS250 in yesterday for a dashboard recall. I guess while replacing, a few business cards, gift cards, and $10 cash were found. I was so impressed that all of the items were placed in my center console. The items were obviously 5+ years old, and whoever worked on the car could have easily taken the cash and gift cards and I would have never known. It just goes to show how great I feel with my car at this service department. I always feel in good hands with my service representative [Ray] and that I am never getting one pulled over on me.

I bought a 2004 Lexus SC430 at another dealer with a 5-day return policy, so I brought the car here for an evaluation. The car was gorgeous, black with a red leather interior. BUT the service tech came out to tell me that I should run away from this car, as it had major flood damage and was a New Jersey car. I ended up taking the car back and found one I loved even more. Again, I brought it here for an eval and this time everything was A-OK. I've been bringing it back for service ever since! A courtesy car was provided at no extra cost for service estimated to take 3-4 hours. Love the computer rooms and LOVE the home-baked goods brought in by the Customer Service Manager!!Thanks for all you do --

I talked to the online salesman and the finance officer before I came from about an hour and a half away. My instructions were that I am not driving that far if the deal would be different. I had already applied for finance at Lexus Financial. When I got there they already had the paper work and all the ins and outs ready. So far they have been true to their word. They even called me back after the contract was signed to tell me that they Lexus gave me a better interest rate. So I had to sign another contract, notice, saving me money. Now that's service for you. Would I buy from them again? I believe so.

I love coming to Hennessey Lexus to have my car serviced. The experience is always a positive one because the employees are friendly and helpful. My service consultant, Tony Childers, is a beautiful blend of professionalism, warmth, and generosity of spirit. He has my back, and I trust that he has my best interest at heart. A few days ago, he went to bat for me. I took my car in on a Thursday for an oil change and a full inspection, as my warranty was expiring on Monday. The car checked out well. However, on Saturday, the lock mechanism malfunctioned. If the service department had been open , the needed part/labor would have been covered under warranty. When I brought the car in Monday morning, my warranty had just expired. However, Tony explained my situation to the powers that be, and....I am happy to report, that the warranty representative agreed to cover the expenses for the replacement part. Ken Haynes of the internet department was contacted after a referral.He confirmed my confidence in Hennessy as a dealer that they would do everything as professional as I would expect from my previous experiences. Remote Restart Dissatisfaction

My husband purchased remote start for my 2013 RX350 as a Christmas gift. When I went to pick up my car, no one even bothered to show me how to work the remote start. I had to ask for assistance and the person I located could not get it to work either. After getting my service advisor, David Levitt, and the Service Manager, they were able to figure it out. Not only is there an 8 second (instructions say 3 seconds ) lag to start the car but when I opened the door to get in and leave, the car shut off. I was not informed in advance that the remote start will start the car but turn it off once the door is opened. In my opinion, that is product default, a waste of car resources, and should be addressed. A family member of mine has a GMC Acadia with remote start (not an after-market product) and if the key is present when entering the vehicle, it does NOT turn off. I am appalled that GMC has a more superior product than Lexus and I will most certainly rethink my next vehicle purchase when choosing Lexus again. I also noticed that the service tech who worked on my car got a grease finger print mark on the light grey interior. I called and left a voice message for David Levitt to call me and he never returned my call. About a week later, Linda Dickerson called me to follow up on my visit and I informed her of all of this. To my surprise, that was a month ago with no response from her or David. I truly expect better service from a dealer who sells a luxury vehicle. My overall dissatisfaction is not just with the service I received from Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta but also with the quality of the Lexus remote start product. It seems illogical that inferior vehicle brands and after-market remote start products are superior to LEXUS.


Service is always a great experience at Hennessey.

I just leased my first car after owning cars for 40+ years. Chip Whatley made it simple. It was the easiest experience I have ever had in acquiring a new car. I love my new ES 350 and feel really comfortable and safe in the car. Saw the car on Wednesday, decided to buy it at the end of that appointment and picked it up on Friday. Hennessy had the color I wanted and the interior I wanted. Chip was incredibly patient in answering all my questions about the technology so that I felt comfortable with it. My Lexus 200CT H is the first car I have ever had serviced exclusivey by the dealer (I am a mechanic and prior to this I have done most of my own service and maintenance). Being a hybrid, I thought it better to let the Lexus dealer service the vehicle. After 40,000 miles and sevicing every 5,000 miles, I can say that Hennessey Lexus is great. Their work is first rate, and even my wife volunteers to take the car in because the waiting area is so nice!Great job all around so far!

This is Alabama Guy - I left a negative review just a week ago or so. I wanted to follow up and note that the dealer admitted that they had fallen down on the job by not responding to my inquiry regarding a vehicle price. I have to say that, although I ended up not being able to get out to Atlanta and the car I was looking at is now sold, the manager made a very good-faith effort to correct the error. He contacted me and dealt very professionally in trying to make the situation right. Hence the correction to 5 stars - sure, there was initially a problem - but anyplace can have someone make a mistake, or just have a bad day. The best sign of a good company is seeing them demonstrate a commitment to making things right when something goes wrong. The company's efforts to correct the situation in my case speak very well of this dealership and its management.

I tried to email the person listing the car on cars.com. His email didn't work, as he listed it as lexusOFatlanta instead of just lexusatlanta. Anyway, no big deal. I went to the dealer website and emailed, giving them my email and asking them to email me, so I could then ask a couple of questions. Their site only lets you put in 500 words, so I couldn't really ask my full question, and didn't want to email via cars.com, because I didn't want to give them my phone number unless I knew for sure I was interested in the car. I quickly received an email from the manager informing me I'd be contacted soon, which I was. The person listing the vehicle emailed me kind of tersely: "HOW may I help you?" Anyway, email can be a poor communication device, so I didn't let that bother me, emailed back, and asked a couple of questions. One of them was whether the price was negotiable. Well, I guess that did it - never heard back. Pretty unprofessional. I mean, even if the answer is "Sorry, we're firm on our listed internet price" - how hard is it to just email that back? I never cease to be amazed at companies that just blow off potential customers like that. Anyway, I wasn't looking at a high-priced Lexus, and since I was both long-winded in the email (I admit to that) - and had the audacity to ask if the price was negotiable (before driving a couple of hours to look at the vehicle) - which I hardly think is an unreasonable question, they just blew me off and never even had the decency to respond. Disappointing to say the least. Long and short of it, if you're looking to buy a high-end Lexus, and don't mention negotiating price, I'm sure they'll get right back to you, and likely be friendly as can be. If you're looking at one of their used cars, and might want to negotiate price even a little, apparently don't bother - you're not worth their time.

This was the best car buying experience that I ever had. Chip Whatley is absolutely wonderful! We did our homework and researched dealerships, prices and sales people the week prior. We visited the dealership and asked for Chip based on his very positive reviews and feedback. I will say that those reviews were right on target. When we got to the dealership in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday, we were lucky that Chip was available. He spent 3 1/2 hours with my husband and I and patiently let us test drive 3 different IS models so we could compare. When we were ready to talk numbers, there was none of the back and forth garbage that takes place at other dealerships. He gave us a very competitive price and there was no pressure. Chip was thorough, very responsive and very customer service oriented. He even put a red bow and a personalized letter on the car when I came to pick it up. These little touches go a long way. I just purchased a 2014 Lexus RX350 from Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta. I had contacted several dealership in the Atlanta area and surrounding states and almost purchased the vehicle from another dealership but Don Bonura was able meet my desired price. Don was prompt in responding to all e-mails quickly and even picked me up on the day of purchase and brought me to the dealership. He demonstrated all the vehicle features. I actually initially contacted Don Bonura via e-mail and upon my initial dealership visit, he was not available so I met Mike Kitchens who educated me all the vehicle features and even thanked me for my business when I went in 2 days later to purchase the vehicle. Overall, great experience with sales person and finance manager. It seems that Hennessy Lexus puts a significant emphasis on customer satisfaction. I never thought buying a car would be that easy! I wanted to buy a new luxury sports sedan and wasn't sure which one to get between Lexus IS250, BMW 328 or the Audi A4. Superb!We went in to get a smart key and were blown away with the service and courtesy of everyone there. We were assigned a "Service Advisor" (Michael Williams), who was beyond professional. Michael was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He really made us feel welcome. The dealership is fantastic. I admit, I have never been in a Lexus dealership before but I have been in a lot of other ones and there is really no comparison. From the handsome woodwork to the tasteful and comfortable furniture there was an elegance to the entire building. While all dealerships will offer coffee, rarely are you offered a variety of complimentary beverages, snacks and not just wi-fi access but terminals to access it. The entire staff went out of their way to be courteous and welcoming. The ladies at the cashier counter made paying a pleasure. The gent in the parts department was fun and I really enjoyed chatting with him. Of the several people I spoke to in passing not one failed to offer a smile and warm greeting. We live 100 miles from Hennessy, but we now plan on visiting them for all of our servicing needs and will, in all probability, be buying our next Lexus from them. Which, my wife has informed me we will be buying to replace this one when the time comes. And apparently Lexus' (Lexi?) are addictive and it doesn't take long to catch the addiction. I have bought many cars in my 68 years, including four previous Lexus cars with Mike Hudgens when he was previously in sales. When it came time to replace my wife's 2001 LX470 with 54,375 miles on the odometer ( not a typo ), of course I called Mike. I knew from previous communications from Hennessy Lexus that Mike was now in finance, but I knew he would refer me to a great sales associate. Mike connected me with Chip Whatley ( who claims on his card to be with Hennessy for ten years, yet he looks to be 21 years old ! ), and I have been totally satisfied with Chip's performance. Communication is vital in every business, and from the very beginning of our business relationship Chip kept me informed about the process but did not call or email me too frequently. My favorite example of Chip's devotion to excellence in customer service came when I told him that I did not have time to bring my wife to the dealership to see the car we wanted due to business pressures and an upcoming surgery. He graciously volunteered to bring the car to our home during a weekday afternoon rush hour... on his day off. This is the second Lexus purchase my wife and I have made. The first experience was pretty good, but we also attributed that to the high-end product Lexus puts out. However, thanks to Chip Whatley (sales) and Mike Hudgens (financing), this second experience was phenomenal! Both gentlemen are very personable, committed to both the product and customer satisfaction, and they were both simply a joy to speak with. Chip received our notice from the on-set with his quick responses to my wife's on-line inquiries, regardless what time of day she sent them. He was very thorough in his responses, and his estimates up front relative to what he could do for us in purchasing a RX350 and in assessing our trade-in value on our CT200h were pretty much spot-on. He spent significant time answering all of our questions and going over features of the automobile with my wife (primary driver). He is the consummate professional who makes you feel like you're the only customer that matters (although I know he treats everyone similarly). Mike Hudgens was very helpful in explaining the financing, the warranties available, and what each option provides. He certainly came across as looking out for our best interests. I've got one word to describe Chip, AWESOME!!! My wife had gone through a long process to decide what vehicle she wanted. After deciding on the RX350, and what essential options she wanted, I contacted several dealers we had met and Chip online. Chip was very responsive. He helped locate a color-interior combination that was hard to find. I was actually told by two other dealers that there was not one of that combination within 500 miles. Chip Whatley was terrific to work with on my IS 350. He was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. Not only did he answer my questions, he anticipated and addressed them in advance. Buying a car could easily be an uncomfortable experience, but Chip kept things relaxed and fun. I enjoyed my time spent talking with him and getting to know him. As soon as we got in the car for a test drive, we connected my iPhone via Bluetooth. Martin Garrix's song "Animals" started thumping. We looked at each other, both legitimately surprised by the quality of the music. I think he would say he knew the deal was done then. They will give you outstanding service and will meet all of your expectations, there was no pressure to make a decision right there and then which I really liked. I researched both the dealership and sales force on line and in person. After a luke warm experience with my initial in person visit, I directly called Peter Hennessy, who was out of town. His assistant Sherry had Steve Burrows, Sales Manager call me, and after discussing the situation, agreed that I should meet with Don Bonura. Don arranged to have the vehicle I was interested in, a Black 2014 Lexus ES 300h brought in from your sister dealership in Gwinnett. We spent four hours together. He took his time with me, taught me the features of the vehicle, took me on an extended test drive, and then we undertook the negotiation process. I never got a chance to show the research and printouts from Consumer Reports and my own calculations, as Don and Steve met and gave me a better bottom-line price on the vehicle than I was anticipating, within a few hundred dollars of my goal. Unfortunately, the assessment of my trade, my beloved 1998 Jaguar XJ8L (bought from Hennessy Jaguar and lovingly cared for all these years), wasn't as smooth, but after much head-scratching and many calls, we agreed on a price. Really the only unpleasant part for me as a buyer was feeling like the $589 Dealer Services Fee and $96 Nitro Fill of the tires weren't disclosed in the negotiations, nor were they included in the price I was given. Had the bottom line of the deal not still been within my comfort range, I would have balked. This was the only part of the process that felt dishonest and uncomfortable. Sherry, Steve, Don, and Mike could not have been better. Don in particular was patient, helpful, totally focused on me as a buyer for an extended period, and has followed up with me subsequent to the sale. He and I have an appointment next week to fully orient me to the car, and to facilitate a special request I have to remove some badging. I highly recommend Don and have now had two extremely positive experiences with Hennessy across brands. I miss my Jaguar, but I already love my Lexus and am getting the advertised 39mpg on my first tank of gas. If you are considering a Lexus you should contact Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta, and in particular ask for Don Bonura.

Upon my first visit to Hennessy Lexus on December 31. 2013, Don was very attentive to my personal situation concerning the new car purchase within a time frame that would include the incentives offered, although the car I desired was not immediately available. Chip is the ultimate professional and provides superior customer service! He listens to his customer's needs, offers solutions to fit the buyer, stays in constant contact, and always has a smile! He was repectful, didn't pull any "sales tactics" because I was a women and was a true consultant to ensure I got the right car that fit my needs. It was a great teaching lesson for my two college age daughters who were involved in the process of what they should expect when making a major purchasing decision. I was looking forward to a good experience at Hennessy Lexus. I had an appointment at 3pm and when I showed up I was informed the person I had the appointment with (Chip) was unavailable. I completely understand this can happen. So I was willing to work with another sales person available at the time. Eric introduced himself and we went for a test drive. I have never met someone less interested in letting me know why I should consider lexus or Hennessy. Intact he made me so uncomfortable... Letting me know that these would be "expensive"... Code for "not for people like you". I visited many dealerships before and never felt more judged. I am East Indian.. And I shared this with a few others... Who to my surprise felt the same way. After a short drive... I had enquirer if there are any 2013 models left. The first thing Eric mentioned in response was he had another appointment and he cannot be tied down. I really felt like I should have left. But I just hung around in the lobby till he came back and let me know there were 2 left. I was so disappointed and actually will not consider buying at Lexus or at Hennessy. I have never written opinions on any website. But I thought I will be doing a dis service if I did not register my experience. I chose to go to Hennessy because they have rave reviews. But my experience was nothing short of horrible. Beware!

Had to talk about the experience at Hennessy Lexus with Don Bonura. Love new cars and hate buying them, guess we've all been there. Met Don after an internet request and tested the new IS 350 F Sport. That car is amazing and the experience with Don was as well. Test dive was more the the "roll it around the block" experience I've had before and Don knew the answer to every question. Not a bit of pressure, just info and impartial advice. So, went in not knowing if I wanted to do this and worked up to the F Sport. Although a new model and not staring at you like a thousand Camry's on the lot (you know, with the balloons hanging from the hoods) Don found the perfect car the same day coming in to port. Got it a week later and was very impressed with the delivery experience. Price was fair, trade in price was great, service awesome and the car is incredible. Never had such an uneventful dealer experience, and that's saying something. Go to Hennessy and ask for Don, I'm going to when I get tired of the F Sport. Sorry Don, see you in about 10 years.Glenn

After seeing the car at my local dealership in Birmingham, Alabama, I called around to see pricing from competitors. Of all the dealerships, Atlanta not only offered the best price, but the absolute best service. They were able to get the EXACT car I wanted without adding to the cost and truly made me feel like I should get the exact Lexus that I wanted. This dealership lives up to the Lexus standard. They were able to get my car on site within two days of the request. Chip worked great with my husband and I who are in professional school to get the Lexus student offers. Upon arrival, the car was waiting in the showroom ready to go. He walked us through the vehicle and never made us feel rushed. He introduced us to Lexus mechanics so that we could talk through the specs of the new hybrid we were getting. The paperwork was ready when we arrived and we left the dealership in just a short hour or two from when we arrived. Not only did they give me confidence in the Lexus brand, but I feel confident that we will buy from Chip in the future. Atlanta was more than worth the drive for us.

I recently purchased a new Lexus GS350 from Chip Whatley of Henessy Lexus of Atlanta. I shopped at a number of dealerships for other makes and another Lexus dealership. Chip and Henessey were the most professional and low pressure sales person and dealership I encountered. I was selecting between two models. Chip took the time to set up multiple test drives and explain key differences that helped me make my overall decision. He was truly concerned that I get the right car with the color combination and euquipmen that I wanted rather than trying to push someithing currently in inventory. The service department at Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta left me utterly unimpressed upon my last visit on the evening of April 24. Upon arriving, I was not greeted as per usual. Instead, the valet waited aimlessly a few feet from my vehicle with a seat drape and floor mat in hand and without speaking swooped in as I exited the vehicle to place them accordingly. I walked in and alerted the cashier that I was having an issue with my CD player and would like to speak with a service advisor. She smiled and called Brad Woodstock over via telephone. And thus began an utterly awkward interaction. Brad greeted me with a very aggressive handshake, which I found disturbing, asked what brought me in, and proceeded walking outside toward my vehicle. I thought this strange as I usually sit down with an advisor, explain the issue I'm having, review my service history, and from there they communicate the problem to a mechanic. Nevertheless, I followed Brad to my car, showed him that my CD player was not responding, explained that I had a similar issue in the past and asked if it might be covered under the original factory warranty since it was a recurring problem. Brad prodded me with questions about whether the car was certified and if I had purchased it new--information that I felt he could have easily determined had we sat down and looked at my service record. I explained that Lexus of Kendall in Miami, Florida had replaced the CD player in 2009. But after a few minutes of fiddling on the computer, Brad told me that the service department was closing early to host an employee dinner and that I should make an appointment to come back and have someone investigate my concerns. With this advice, I informed Brad that I was leaving and would visit Nalley Lexus Smyrna instead.While I applaud Hennessy Lexus for celebrating its employees with dinners, I do not feel it appropriate that an employee would use such an event to shoo a customer out the door without regard. Since living in Atlanta, I have trusted Hennessy Lexus with servicing my 2007 IS 250. I have had the pleasure on most occasions of working with John Duncan during my visits. And he has been a true gem--always kind, compassionate, and overwhelmingly helpful and attentive. Sadly, due to his career as a pilot, John only works in the service department on Saturdays. Therefore, I had the misfortune of dealing with Brad during this Thursday visit. And what a misfortune it was. I previously lived just around the corner from Hennessy which made it convenient to have my car serviced there. But as this is no longer the case, I do not find it prudent to drive from Midtown Atlanta for such subpar service. I will not be returning but think it wise to inform you of this unfortunate interaction in hope that action will be taken to avoid the recurrence.Truly,Angela Sturrup

It was easy for me to want a second Lexus after NEVER, EVER having a single complaint about the first one! My unique challenge is that we reside over 140 miles from a Lexus dealership; limiting my car-shopping, for the most part to the computer and a GS 350 brochure. I narrowed my search to Hennessy Lexus of Atlanta on Peachtree Industrial Blvd because their website is the most user-friendly I came across; and they keep a very well-stocked new car inventory(from which I found the ONE I wanted). Thankfully, I contacted Don Bonura after reading his glowing reviews written by his previous satisfied customers. His reply to my initial email was prompt, yet personable. When I mentioned I needed to reach an agreement before arriving in town, Don gave me a great price. This was fantastic because he eliminated the stress of haggling and back-and-forth negotiations. My report card gives Don Bonura A+s across the board for his knowledge, patience, thoroughness AND an extra Plus for great personality. The dealership itself is a beautiful and modern sight to see with tall open spaces and State-of-the-art technology. I went into this dealership on a whim to look at used cars. It was my very first stop in what we had planned to be a full day of car shopping. There really was no reason to look anywhere else. Klaus was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I am very bottom-line, budget orientated and I appreciated the fact that he took time to look for vehicles within our budget without trying to up-sell us. My experience with Angel Mercado was the icing on the cake of the wonderful experience we had at Hennessy. Thirteen years ago I bought an RX300 from this dealership. Last week, after 198,00 wonderful miles, I sold it to my 16-year-old neighbor. I knew I wanted another RX; so I contacted four dealerships via the internet. Three of the four ignored my request to communicate only by e-mail and called me. Only one, Chip Whatley at Hennessy Lexus Atlanta, communicated only by e-mail and answered all my questions about options and prices. We visited one dealership before heading to Hennessy and meeting with Chip. Not only was he able to beat the best price of the other dealership by over $500, but he was also a total pleasure to work with: personable without "glad handing"; smart; totally knowlegeable about the vehicle; and, most important, not stressful to deal with. I received an email from Hennessey advising of leasing specials available thru dealership. Mind you, I was definitely not in the market to buy anything but their advertised specials were totally 'off the charts'. The offer to lease a 2013 GS 350 for $399 with $3999 down was a little hard to believe. I called my local lexus dealer and asked them if they could match the deal at Hennessy. The salesman laughed and commented that they can't sell me a GS 350 for that and swore it was going to be some kinda bait and switch. I told him that this was what they were advertising on their website and that I did not believe a Lexus dealer would try to pull a stunt like that. I called Henessey on Saturday around 4:00. Spoke with Chip. Told him what I was looking for. About 30 minutes later, Chip called back and advised that dealer had a higher priced car in my color selection that they would let me have at the special lease price. He told me that he would put a sold sign on it rite now, email me a list of items I needed to bring to the dealership on Monday to sign off on deal.This car was for my wife.... Went to the dealer after work on Monday to close the deal. Everything was just as adverised...even better. The car was outstanding, the service was outstanding. Everyone we met and talked with that day was bending over backwards to make sure that this was the most pleasant car buying experience ever. They totally succeeded! The whole process took less that two hours. Now that's what I really call outstanding service. The car was left overnite so that dealer could install pinstripe. The next day we picked the car up and we've been happy happy ever since. Thank you Hennessey Lexus for your standard of excellence.

Now, I live approximately 200 miles from the dealership. Chip answered an email inquiry about an ISC that I was interested in and we began corresponding about the new car I wanted. After many emails and phone calls, we found the car I wanted and made a deal. Chip was always courteous, never rushed my decision, but was always prompt to respond to me. I've been in communication with Chip Whatley since June 2012 while I was deployed in Afganistan. When I first went to the Lexus website and built my RX 350, Chip Whatley emailed me within a few hours and then followed up with a phone call, he was very pleasant, but most importantly, not a pushy sales person. This was my first Lexus purchase, I never test drove one before, and Chip was very informative, he answered all of my questions and I test drove two different vehicles, so I can see and feel the differences between the ES 350 and the RX 350 before making my final decision. Chip was the best new car salesperson I have worked with and made this my best car buying experience I've had out of my 4 new car purchases. Most of the process was conducted via phone and email. Chip was very responsive and competent. He searched inventory throughout the country to try and find the exact build that we were looking for and also explored having a vehicle built with the options and package that we wanted. In the end, we purchased a vehicle that Hennessy had in inventory at very good price. To finalize our deal, Chip even worked with me on his off day. When we went into the dealership to take delivery of our new RX350, the process was quick and Chip took extra time to walk us through all of the features. Don Bonura was very professional and knowledgeable about the car, which was brand new (2013 RX 350). They did not initially have the exact vehicle I wanted, but tracked one down quickly and it arrrived a couple of weeks later exactly on schedule. The transaction was handled quickly and professionally, no sitting around waiting, and Don spent a lot of time explaining all of the bells and whstles to me before I left. Chip Whatley was also very helpful during my initial visit when Don had to leave to take care of another customer who already had an appointment. Chip Whatley is far and away the best car salesman I've ever worked with. From start to finish, he made my car-buying experience relaxing, stress-free and - listen for it - fun! I guarantee you I've never had a fun experience buying a car before I met Chip! Chip is friendly and personable, he listens intently to everything that's said so he knows what's important to his buyer, and he is incredibly knowledgeable. I trusted him completely to help me choose the right car for how I live. Once I decided on my RX 350, Chip went to work to get me the price I wanted to pay. When he came in with the thumbs up (yea!), he breezed through the paperwork and proceeded to explain everything about the vehicle to me, including features, warranty, roadside assistance and maintenance. He even recommended a service rep that he thought would be a "good fit" for me when it's time for my first scheduled maintenance. While Chip was going through everything, he had a team at work on my new SUV installing cross bars, filling it up with fuel and making it sparkle. Then Chip sat in the RX 350 with me and set up my bluetooth, my speed dials, and my audio. He showed me how to use all the cool features on the screen, he helped me adjust my seat and mirrors, and he answered all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. When I drove off the lot I was ready to go - nothing else needed to be done. Thanks to Chip, I felt totally comfortable...not like I was driving a "new car" off the lot, but like I was driving "MY car" home.Everything at Hennessy is first class. Everyone I've dealt with there is amazing and I've always had a positive experience, whether it's to buy a new vehicle or to have a maintenance check. To me, though, Chip is the face of Hennessy. I called the dealership because I was interested in coming to see the new 2013 GS. The dealership assigned me a sales manager that I could ask for when I arrived. I got to the dealership asked for my sales associate and he was very friendly. He showed me around the car and answered some very basic questions that I had. I was not interested in the color combination that was available. There was a very limited number of 2013 GS cars available that had all of the options. He took down my information and said that he would contact me if more came in. I was very disappointment that he did not offer a test drive having driven 20 miles through Atlanta traffic to get there. I left the dealership with a bad taste. I did more research on the cars and the web, monitoring the online inventory over the next few weeks at dealerships up and down the east coast. I still had not test drove the car which I was comparing with against the Audi A6. I was out another weekend test driving the A6 and I wanted to compare the GS drive. I reached out to the Lexus dealership again and asked for a different sales manager as I had not heard back from my original sales rep. I was assigned another manager who was a little more eager to do business. He went over the car with me in detail and I was finally able to test drive the car. He took down my information and all the options that I was looking for. The only thing that was disappointing is that he lacked follow-up. I not sure if the reason for lack of follow-up is that there is such a limited inventory for a fully loaded GS or that there is such a high demand that the managers sell to those that come into the dealership. And once they walk, they let them go. The only reason for me walking out with purchasing is that they didn have the vehicle that I wanted. After another few weeks I came across a fully loaded 2013 GS that I was looking for. The only problem was that it was at the same dealership where I had the last 2 lack luster encounters. I heard from a friend that Chip Whatley was the man to see at the dealership. So I deceived to give the dealership another try. I must say that I am pleased that I did. Chip was amazing. I feel like he listened to what I had to say. He was aggressive but not overly aggressive. And he didn try to sell me on something that I did not want. He was willing to wait for the sale if it meant searching for the right car and delivering it at a later date. I walked out of the dealership with the car that I wanted and loved. Amazing experience. We had a somewhat unusual situation in that we were looking for two similar vehicles to be purchased at the same time; however, one had to be driven by a family member to a different state, while the second one needed to be picked up in a week. Additionally, we weren't anticipating finding exactly what we wanted on this trip to the dealership, so we were not even able to pay the day of the purchase. All of these problems aside, Chip was able to locate two identical vehicles with the exact specifications we were wanting. One was already at his dealership and another was able to be delivered in the time frame we needed to get it picked up (the next day actually). Additionally, he and the entire dealership were incredibly helpful and accommodating in working with us to purchase the vehicle, even though we were not able to physically pay for the cars that day. After lots of paperwork and background/credit checks, we were able to drive the first vehicle off the lot with no hassle whatsoever. Chip put a lot of faith in us and treated us like valued customers, and as such, we really enjoyed doing business with him and made it our number one priority to get all the necessary paperwork and funds back to the dealership in a timely manner. Additionally, he has followed up with (unobtrusive) e-mails, just checking up on us and making sure we are satisfied with our purchase and that we don't have any additional questions or problems with the vehicles. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be using Hennessy Lexus in the future should we decide to stay with Lexus for our next vehicle.

I used USAA Buying Service to locate dealers who were willing to give special consideration to Military and Retired Military families. USAA directed me to two dealerships, one of which was Hennessy. I received a very prompt email and follow-up call. Chip Whatley quickly sent a list of cars to consider, and after I identified the one I was interested in, gave me a very good price quote. He handled everything via email and telephone so that I only had to make the 144 mile drive to Atlanta one time to get my car. I can't imagine any better, more accommodating service. This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Don Bonura exceeded my expectation and made it effortless. I had bad eperience with another lexus dealership and was almost turned off from Lexus, but I'm glad that after researching online, I read great reviews on this dealership and the go to person is Don Bonura. Chip offered a very fair price in his initial email reply to my inventory inquiry, whereas a competing dealership offered a much higher price for an identical vehicle. Chip answered all of my questions and when he didn't know an answer, he said he would get back to me, rather than making up an answer.The only point during the process where I felt typical dealer pressure was in dealing with the finance group where they really pushed the extended warranty and played up the potential for costly electrical failures (I'm buying a Lexus, not a Chrysler). I understand that the finance person likely receives compensation for up-selling such coverage, but after I say "no" I don't want to be questioned on my motives nor made to feel as if the car is going to fall apart without the coverage. Despite my 40% down payment and repeated statements that I felt comfortable paying for repairs outside of the warranty period, the finance person kept acting as-if cost was my reason for declining additional coverage. Chip explained later that coverage can be purchased any time during the initial factory warranty period if desired; this was never brought up in finance.Overall I had a great experience shopping at Hennessy and I would highly recommend Chip. However, if you will be financing your purchase, keep in mind you will have to put up with some pressure and mind tricks.
