Always a great experience with Mark. Just purchased my 3rd CRV and 4th Honda. Mark goes above and beyond to make sure I get the best options and service. He has been "my" sales rep since 2008 when he personally delivered my first Honda to Banner Elk from Hickory. The service department is great too! I live in Hickory now but even when I did not, I always brought my Honda's to Hendrick Honda in Hickory for service. Always Clean, welcoming and the best service anywhere!Everyone I have met at Hendricks has been great to work with and always welcoming from Mark, Daryl in Service, JR and Jeremy in finance and JR the dealership manager. I would like to thank everyone at Hendrick Honda Hickory for the professional, honest manner in which they conduct business. The process from speaking with salesman Joey Lankford, to sales manager Jeremy Phillips, to completing the paperwork with business manager Shaun Haynes couldn't have been easier. I am not a fan of the process of buying cars. I do not enjoy the "work" it typically takes to feel as though I'm getting a fair deal. However, this couldn't have been easier or more enjoyable. They were able to quickly find the specific car my wife wanted, get it to the dealer in a timely manner, secure financing, and complete the purchase flawlessly. I have to say that when I contacted the dealership I never expected to own a car 24 hours later. As my credit score isn't great I thought there would be no help in exchanging my old car for a newer model. However thanks to the extensive connections that the sales staff have they were able to get me approved in less than an hour. The whole buying process was easy. They made sure to get me out on time as I had to go to work later in the day, and all options were explained to me until I understood what I was getting. Everything said and done I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

Shaun was exceptionally patient in describing all the options and being upfront about finances. Villy was great about teaching me some of the pertinent things for operating this new (much more technologically advanced) vehicle. We were provided top of the line sales and service, all performed with the sales guy, Mell!! Our son was hit and it totaled his car. We had been looking for 2 weeks with no luck. We finally found one thru Hendrick Honda of Hickory and what we found out was the car was located about 4 hours away. The very next morning Mel contacted us and said that the car was at his location and ready to see. We drove from Winston-Salem, bought the car! It had one thing show up on the computer that needed to be fixed so we returned and had it fixed. Again, Mel was spot on, with both the sale and service. He also provided us with a temp vehicle to go eat lunch while they repaired my son's car. We will certainly remember Mel for any future needs with a car and the top of the line service we were given.

I came in with a 2010 Harley, relatively low credit, and no down payment. A few hours later Rick had me driving home in a 2016 Honda with 11 miles on it. He even let me swing by my apartment to pick my fiance up during the test drive. He's a professional, friendly guy that will take care of you and go to bat for you. You're not likely to find this kind of service at many other places... I highly recommend.

Lee was so helpful! We had our car transferred from another store but decided late enough that the service department had closed so the inspection had to be done on Monday. While there on Monday, Lee invited me to the company luncheon. I was very impressed with the culture and team approach that was obvious from just observing. I believe that if you treat your employees right they will genuinely treat your customers well and they can tell the difference. I would greatly recommend Hendrick Honda of Hickory (and I live in Charlotte), Lee, and I worked with Grace over the phone. From the first moment talking to anyone including the gentleman that showed me to the lounge, I felt like they genuinely wanted my business but also make you feel very welcome.

I would recommend this Dealer/dealership to anyone. From the moment I got there to the moment I left I was never pushed or shoved to buy anything except one thing. Kelly S did a wonderful job and was honest about everything. Shaun(if that was his name, sorry man if its not.) was honest when it came to all the warranties and really only pushed and shoved me to buy one (with my girlfriends help) but I ended up get the Extended Warranty and I would recommend that to anyone as well. Was not even supposed to be going there the day I got my car but I'm glad I did. If you need a used or new car GO HERE!

Despite dreading the whole new-car purchase scenario, we had a positive experience with sales rep Bob Scanlon, who made the whole thing relatively painless. From our first walk onto the lot, to the day we drove away in our new Accord, Bob was patient and extremely helpful with our questions. Everyone we dealt with at the dealership was helpful and happy to see us, even when we showed up unscheduled on a Sunday wanting to take yet another look. We knew what we wanted and came prepared, and everyone at the dealership seemed amenable to working with our requests. We felt low pressure to actually leave with a car on any particular day we visited, which in the end resulted in a happy purchase.

After a not so positive experience purchasing our 2014 Honda Accord EX-L at Hendrick Honda Concord, we decided to have all of our service done at Hendrick Honda Hickory. Hendrick Honda Hickory is a Godsend for Rick Hendrick, as we experienced their excellent Service Department each and every time we serviced the Accord. When our 2014 Accord was lost to an accident, it was a no brainier to look to Hendrick Honda Hickory to purchase a new Accord. Being Accord owners since our first experience with a 1993 Accord SE. Which performed above expectations for 20 plus years and over 285,000 miles before being lost to a Hit and Run driver in Charlotte.This is where good fortune looked my way. I did an online search and visited the TrueCar website and was overwhelmed by the feedback my email box received. I believe it was the positive caricature traits and a sense of really caring about my needs that led me to Bob Scanlon's email. He was the only dealer I replied to or had contact with throughout this process.After years of purchasing vehicles for my family and helping others, I know all the tricks and sadly have seen it all. Honestly, I was not looking forward to going through it all again.Then stepped up Bob Scanlon. A man ready to do whatever it would take to honestly earn my business and that he did. Firstly, Hendrick Honda Hickory did not have the Accord we were looking for. Bob set out and found several Accords he could have for me in a couple of days. But as I was researching, I decided it would probably be better for me to purchase a 2017 Honda Accord Touring rather than an EX-L with Nav and add up to all the features we wanted. This didn't bother Bob one bit who agreed with my decision and set about finding the Touring model in the color we wanted. One day later it was not only in Hickory, but it had tinted windows and a nice pin stripe to boot. And he made all of this happen with no extra cost to me. Bob helped me get no haggle or trickery price on the Touring that is lower than the average price per TrueCar plus five upgrades added to the vehicle. And he did all of this with a smile and absolutely no pressure on me. This is why I am very happy to recommend Bob Scanlon and Hendrick Honda Hickory to anyone out there looking for a new Honda. From the beginning right up to and after driving the car off the lot, Bob was right there making sure this monumental experience was not only pleasant, but well handled so there were absolutely no hiccups. I came by searching for a used car and the sales rep. that I dealt with was not helpful at all. I told him my price range and what I was looking for, I even showed him some pictures from the site of the cars that I wanted to see. He seemed incredibly annoyed by my price range and kept saying "we don't have that car here" when the cars I pointed out were in view! After I finally asked "well do you have anything that you suggest I look at?" He replied "not even close to your price range" and walked away. Completely unprofessional. He had called me about my airbag recall on my 2011 Honda CRV; he said "Come on in I have a deal for you on a 2015 CRV." I didn't make it easy for Mel either every figure he quoted me I had some outrageous figure in mind to throw back at him, however he knew I was joking with him!! After the test drive I was nervous as a cat this car is loaded and I am not crazy over all these "bells and whistles!" Mel reassured me that I was going to love the car when I got use to it. They do not care about there customers they only care about themselves and how to get out the easiest . Darryl Watson and James Conley are awesome. Everyone at the dealership is professional, helpful and knowledgeable - sales, finance, detailing, showing me how to use my car. Getting my car serviced, was in the show room and in walks my good friend James Conley that has now sold me three cars in the last 4 or 5 years. The service dept. is great, the waiting area is great with computers, tv , popcorn - what else could you ask for - that the work is done properly and it always is! James and I spent some time together and I ended up buying a 2016 CRV -EX. James knows what he is doing. Next time I want another SUV, I will just call him with make, model and trim package - let him set the price and do the paperwork and I will come in and pick it up! He is honest, works hard to get me the right price and no pressure. I love Hendrick Honday and my CRV. All professionals, helpful and everyone makes you feel at home. If BMW or Lexus offered me a similar SUV for an even trade, I would not even consider it!

I called for an appointment and spoke to a very helpful and friendly lady who set me up immediately. I arrived at the appointed time, was warmly greeted by Shawn Millsap who had my records available and was ready to start. I told him I was concerned about tire wear and he immediately checked the tread depth and agreed that I needed four new tires. He got the brand I wanted and conducted the service all within two hours. The car was washed and sitting on brand new tires in the time estimated. I drive a good distance to have all my services performed on both my Hondas here in Hickory, avoiding my local dealership which is considerably closer. The waiting room is comfortable and the staff keep the customers informed of what is happening. You can buy a car anywhere, but you need to maintain the services so pick an excellent facility like Honda of Hickory and you will never be disappointed!

I know that Monday can be one of the most busy times for car service departments since most are closed on Sunday. From the beginning we were treated like VIP's at Hendrick Honda of Hickory. It was our pleasure to work with Zachary Cannon in purchasing our CRV. I had not bought a new vehicle since 2007 and I was not sure exactly what I wanted. My husband and I visited Hendrick Honda Hickory and I saw the HRV. I knew that was the car for me! I wanted AWD and to add fog lights. Mark Buchanan started the search for what I wanted and there was not an HRV close enough to bring to the dealership. He ordered the HRV for me and kept me updated as to when the Ocean Pearl HRV would arrive. I picked it up on April 15th. It is perfect! Jonathan Benfield had the paperwork ready for me to sign and the features of the vehicle were explained to me by Villy Vongsayarath. It was 90 minutes from the time I arrived until I drove off the lot. This dealership is friendly and welcoming to women. My requirements for a vehicle were listened to and acknowledged. It was the best car-buying experience I have ever had!

Shaun Hayes and Stuart Allen made our experience an incredible one! We had purchased a vehicle 6 months ago and it was a bad fit for our family. We were concerned we would lose a lot of money by trying to trade. We were wrong! These guys found a way to get us in a beautiful minivan without losing money. Being recently widowed and buying my first car, I came into this very nervous and uncertain. I had taken my 2008 Honda CRV to a different Dealership 3 times regarding my brakes over a 7 month period. The first time I was told I didn't need brakes. The second time they said I did need brakes so they supposedly fixed them. I took it back a few weeks later and was told they just needed to lubricate the brakes that there wasn't anything wrong with them. Finally, I took my Honda to Hendrix Honda and Hector Lopez fixed my brakes. By this time the rotars were ruined on the front and had to be replaced, and the rear rotars had to be sanded down. What do you know???? My brakes are working great and I don't sound like a train when I come to a stop. Thank you Hector and Hendrix Honda. I have contacted the other dealership over this unnecessary issue and sent them a copy of the bill. I told them that I expected them to make it right and the man fixing their brakes doesn't know what he is doing and I had go somewhere to get them fixed. I have always had good service from this other dealership until this incident over the brakes. I am going to give them a chance to make it right and discredit their reputation at this time. My husband is bedridden. I needed to buy a car that would be able to get him to the doctors. I have never brought a car with out him. I email in and Rick Mclure call me back and went over what my needs were. He asked me questions that help him get the right car for all our needs. when I came in rick had the CRV that we talked about waiting for me to test drive. He went over everything. I changed my mind and wanted to look at the Civic. He was very patient with me. I think we must have test drove 10 cars and SUVs. When I had questions about finance Rick got Bryan Nichols the finance manager for me. Bryan was GREAT he answered all my questions and showed me my best options. They were both great. The whole dealership went above and beyond to help me and my husband get the BEST DEAL I will always go to Rick and Bryan to buy my next car.
