Disappointed in Service Dept.

Have been a past customer with service Dept. With good services. Have a 2014 3500 Ram which came up with a DEF warning problem as traveling back into town. Called service Dept. and was told to bring it right in. Upon arrival was told they wouldn't do any service and go somewhere else. With the count down warning indicator less than 50 miles, this is unacceptable. With no suggestions of another dealership no can't go anywhere.

My Brother and I Both have purchased a 2016 Challenger R/T within the past couple weeks. My experience with Hendrick has been great, I also Purchased a Red 2013 Ram Express from there a couple years ago. Had nothing but great experiences with Hendrick Sales and Service staff.

Service department horrible

Want to be lied to go here. I called 4 times over 2 weeks to make sure they had the part and could accommodate my motor home. Assured they could do my airbag recall right away. Drove my motor home over 45 minutes and then was told it was a much bigger job than they thought and I would have to wait all day. Returned home then called the Dodge airbag recall #800. It's a less than 1 hour job. Less than 1 hour. Why did they lie? Good question. Ask them. I'm a single older woman so I guess they figured they could lie. Never ever go here for service. Even the other customers waiting said the same thing. Horrible service. The lie was so outrageous in the face lie I'm surprised lightning didn't strike him.

I had done my research on the Ram 2500 and 3500, and I knew my stuff. Brad's knowledge blew me away! Christmas Holidays

I Had a recall on my new Ram Rebel truck that I purchased from Hendrick CDJR in Hoover Alabama. I took my truck in and was greeted by 2 service advisors, Charter and Paul. They informed me that the part that I needed was on back order and it would be a few days before I would be able to get my truck back. It was a few days before Christmas and I had a trip planned to visit relatives for the holidays and needed my truck. They called and got my part put on the fast track and had one of the mechanics put it on as soon as it came in. When they called me on the 23rd and said my truck was ready I could not believe it. I had my truck back and did not miss any of the Christmas holidays with my family. Thanks to Paul, Charter and the rest of the Hendrick service department, they are the best!!!!

I originally went in looking to purchase a Challenger SXT Plus and my salesman Michael Jenkins, which is new to the company was very helpful in trying to get me in the right vehicle. After a few frustrating days of negotiations with the sales manager John Porter we were about to give up and move on to somewhere else. I went in one last time and asked to work with a different sales manager and Mike brought in Christie Taylor to help him out with my deal. To make a long story short Christie found a manager that worked us the deal we were happy with and we drove off the lot in a 2015 RT Charger. Brad Horton is the salesman that I worked with both times and is the primary reason I continue to use Hendrick. Most notably, Brad is by far the most knowledgeable sales rep I have ever dealt with in the automotive industry regarding the product(s) he sales. He has always been extremely helpful, personable, and worked with me to make sure I ended up getting a good deal that I was comfortable with. I've enjoyed the in/out process of dealing with Hendrick as a whole when I've both needed help determining what vehicle most suited me, as well as knowing exactly what I wanted and having Hendrick get the vehicle in-front of me. Furthermore, the customer service (and even with Brad post-purchase) has been on point. I've not once felt as if I was pushed to the wayside after I had purchased a vehicle on any day-2 service or maintenance visits or inquiries. Good Morning, My name is Monica Leach. I brought my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee into your service department this November for a recall on the ignition. The only questions asked was my contact and other information to get my car in the shop and service began. I have a 2011 Dodge Durango which I love. It was having starting engine problems and I called Hendrick's and the same day they towed it to the dealership. Paul Borge stayed in constant contact with me regarding issue, and 2 days later it was repaired by Johnny. I met both of these guys when I picked up the car, they both seemed genuine and provided great service. I don't see that often in today's world, so it was refreshing. Emergency service during Vacation trip!

My husband and I were on the way for vacation in Florida (with our 100 lb. labrador!) when the emergency charging light came on in our 2011 Dodge Caravan! We were only 2 hours into our 9 hour drive, and we quickly looked for a dealership in Birmingham, AL. The best dealership/service department Ever was the one we found! Hendrick Chrysler Dodge in Birmingham, led by Chris Colburn! Although his service department was swamped (we could tell!), Chris welcomed us, said he would take a look at it, and escorted us to the service lounge, chocolate lab in tow! Fantastic service in Service dept. & Collision Ctr

I experienced the best service I have ever had in the Collision Center and Service Department at Hendrick Jeep. Even though I have never had any experience in these departments of this dealership, Amber and Jimmy Cole in the Collision Center made us feel like we were old friends getting special treatment when we brought our Jeep in after a minor accident. I seriously could not believe how helpful and informed they were. Not only that, as busy as they were, they couldn't have been more patient with or friendly and kind to us. Paul Borge in the Service Department not only ensured that the service was performed in a timely manner, but also performed needed recalls that another dealership in town informed us couldn't be done for 6 weeks. I went to Hendrick CDJR in Hoover to see the new Ram 1500 Rebel. I am so glad I did. The staff was great. Brad Horton was my salesman and he was very knowledgeable. He took his time to show mw all the features and did not pressure me. Chris handled my financing, and he got me an unbelievable rate from the bank that put my payment exactly where I told him I needed to be. The manager of the store, I believe her name was Tonya, even came out and thanked me for my business. Outstanding Service Experience

My family and I were traveling back from vacationing on the Florida Gulf Coast to our home in Kentucky when our 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan blew a heater core supply/return hose assembly spewing coolant all over which lead to the engine to begin to overheat. We were on I-65 just south of I-459. The van was towed into the dealership on a Sunday afternoon. I talked with Paul Borge at 7:30am on Monday morning and he was confident they could have us back on the road that day. Not only were they able to replace the broken part, they also were able to take care of an overlooked maintenance item they brought to my attention that left unattended might have resulted in another roadside breakdown. We were on the road at 12:30pm Monday afternoon back on our way home. Paul and the entire service organization did an outstanding job getting us getting us back on track after our breakdown. Thanks to all!!

A man by the name of Mr. Paul Borge helped me with a problem I had with my Jeep Liberty 4dr Rwd Sport 2011. The back light on the passenger side was not coming on and there was a problem with the connection between the light and wiring.This was not the first time I had problems with this light.He was nice, respectful and very knowledgeable about my car and the service it needed. The problem was fix within 30 minutes and I was so happy I didn't have to miss work.

I had a great experience servicing my car at Hendrick Jeep. Having been to several dealerships for service, usually my expectation is that service falls flat. As opposed to the usual, I have to say that Hendricks is great! The repairs were completed on time, and timelines were communicated to me. The employees were upfront about the work, and they even pushed through several recall notices that other dealers told me would take months! I would absolutely recommend Hendricks Jeep as a service provider, and I would definitely not go anywhere else. Paul was my contact, and he was exceptional!

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Mr. Michael Jenkins, went above and beyond the call of duty, his took care of my wife and I, he knew it would be a waiting game dealing with a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy purchase, but he made the deal go quicker by contacting the attorney the lender etc. Mr. Jenkins even took vacation but still call and check on the status daily of my documents. After that in step the finance young lady Mrs. Brittany she was AWESOME as well and very knowledgeable about the banking and the whole Bankruptcy process. Mr. Jenkins even had my car delivered to my house at 12 Noon last Saturday. I will definitely be using these two people again.

The staff members were very courteous and helpful. Especially Paul and Henry. I was pushed for time and had a lot to do. Paul called the courtesy shuttle to help me finish some errands while getting my car serviced. They were conscious of my time and very efficient Henry, the driver was very nice and welcoming.

Very disappointing

I was very excited to purchase a jeep from Hendrick but was disappointed in how Haley our salesperson kept me, my wife and newborn waiting while she was texting and was on Facebook while we were trying to get her help and purchase our vehicle. My wife really wanted the new 2015 Jeep Cherokee so I agreed to go ahead and purchase it and over look the rudeness. Then only to get with Brittany in financing and have her to throw a pen across the table and very rudely say sign there and not show me where to sign after I turned down all the extras she tried to get me to purchase. Such as extended warranty and others I felt I didn't need due to it being a new vehicle. Overall I was very disappointed with my experience with Hendrix.

Service delivery

I own a 2006 Jeep Wrangler which was brought in for service back in January of this year for shifter problems (automatic). Correction were made and other service recommended by Service Writer - Paul was performed. I was very pleased with the service. Then last week there was again a shifter problem?(service was in January and the vehicle was driven less than a 1000 miles)The staff of Hendrick from Service Writer - Paul to the young lady at the cashier went out of their way to get to the bottom of what the problem? Excellent experience every time

I have purchased two Jeep vehicles from this dealership and always used them for service. Their location is very convenient and most importantly, I have an excellent experience every time. I usually work with Paul but all the service staff is very professional and knowledgeable. One of the things I appreciate from this dealership is getting a survey call a couple of days after taking the vehicle to service. I have provided feedback on things they can improve and actually they have done it. I would definitively recommend this dealership for service, they do an excellent job.

Terrible Service

Normally I would never write such a thing, but I have literally had the worst experience dealing with their service department and have no other choice. Do NOT take your vehicle to this place. On 5/28/15 I had my Chrysler van towed to their service department because it wouldn't start. The woman on the phone couldn't promise it would be looked at that day, but for sure the next. 5/29 I called my service advisor to see if I could pick up my vehicle, I was informed nobody had even looked at it- nor were they planning on it, but was promised the right mechanic would be working the next day 8-5 and would get to it. 5/30 never received a call, left 2 voicemails and was never called back. 6/1 I called to tell them I was coming to get my car to take somewhere else, but was then told they finally looked at it and it would be a fuel pump replacement. The parts were available locally and the van would be ready that day or the next. The evening of 6/2 I call and was told it wasn't ready, but for sure the next day. Well I am currently writing to you and was now informed after speaking to a manger that the vehicle may not even be ready tomorrow 6/4. This is horrible service, I could have had the vehicle serviced by the lowest of low service shops many times over in a 7 day period and may take longer than that. Save your time and your money- do not go here. I have been paying my own bill on a rental car from Enterprise this entire time.

I just want to say how I appreciate Paul Borge and the mechanic for working on my Van 4-16-15. I would recommend them 100%. My wipers not turning off even when the engine was off was a major concern for me since I never knew that could happen. After they fixed the problem, Paul even took the time to show me what to do if that ever happened again and explained everything until I could get to them for service. What I also noticed is the concern the Service Consultants in general had with customers. As I was sitting in the nice comfortable waiting area, I observed how the SC would come in and sit with their customer and explain what they did, or what they found. Read before you make a mistake!!!

My problem was that I was used to a good, customer focused dealership. I did not find that at Hendrick. My Jeep required a radiator replacement. 1)What should have been a half day repair turned into a two and a half day repair. 2) I don't deny the dealership wanting to make a profit.... but $1,400 for a radiator repair is nothing short of OBSCENE. 3) After picking up my vehicle upon completion, I got less than 5 miles from the dealership and had to return it so they could put the car back together correctly. My grill nearly came off on I-495. After completing their on line survey and expressing my disappointment with my Hendrick experience, vowing to NEVER EVER return to the their property, I receive a phone call from the service department offering me a $200 credit. Umm, let's see, if I accept the $200 credit, I'd have to go back to the dealership, right? As I am a man of my word, that will NEVER EVER happen. Tell you what Hendrick..... send me a check for $200 is you feel that bad about your screw ups. In conclusion, should your vehicle break down and require the service of a Mopar dealership, run, (don't walk) away from Hendrick as fast as you can!

Service probelm but was fixed

I always go to services department to have my 2007 Dodge Caliber maintenance. I had a problem with the services I received, I took car back to dealership and Paul handled everything for me and made it right.

Collison Repair

As alarming as a fender bender can be, Hendrick Chrysler repaired my 2011 Honda Accord and they did a beautiful job. The staff went out of their way to make sure the repair process went smoothly. It was incredibly helpful that the insurance, rental car and repair shop were handled in one place. It certainly decreased my anxiety level. I would definitely recommend Hendrick Chrysler for collison repair if someone finds themselves in this unfortunate situation. You can trust them to do a great job and try to help you in any way they can.

Great Service from Hendrick Chrysler

I came in to see Mr. Jenkins to see if I could purchase a car. I knew that my credit was ok but it did have a bankruptcy on it from 2005. From the moment that I came in to his office, I was treated with kindness and respect. I told him what i was looking for and he went out of his way to make it happen for me. I have been in situations where I tell them what kind of car I wanted then the salesman wanted to put me in a car that he knew he could sell, never tried to help me obtained what i really wanted. Mr. Jenkins put me in the car I have dreamed of owning. Then I got to meet the finance lady Ms. Brittany and she was awesome as well. She went to work and got me the best finance deal with a great warranty. What has impressed me also is Mr. Jenkins didn't quit at the sales part, he has texted me to see how I loved my car and he has helped me when a Malfunctioning light came on and he was off the next day but when he came back to work, he texted me to make sure that the service guy helped me out. Helped out even when they didn't have the car I wanted

I had just moved back from living overseas after graduation and had a job but no car. He showed me around all the options on his lot as well as numerous other locations that can ship cars in to his. But in the end I ended up finding one at another dealership over in Atlanta. Despite the fact that he had no financial incentive to help me purchase a car from another dealership, he rode along nonetheless and helped me navigate the process of purchasing this car from the lot in Atlanta (all my previous cars had been bought from people off craigslist).It took a bit longer than expected (the dealer did NOT want to budge on anything), but at the end of the day I had my car and that was what I had set out to do. This selflessness shown went above and beyond what I had expected from the "car salesman" image I had in my head from before this experience. In the future, I will be sure to send anyone I encounter looking for a new car to Brad's direction.

Bought a new truck

Bought my new truck from Brad and it was a good experience, he has the most knowledge of any salesman I have ever worked with. If you have any questions he will know the answer. I spent a lot of time looking for the right truck and he was very patient with me. We looked at 4 or 5 trucks before I picked the perfect one. When I shop again it will be with Brad.

Exceeds expectations!

Brad Horton made my car shopping experience 10 times better than I could have ever imagined. He seemed to genuinely care that I ended up with the best car for my needs, not just the easiest one to sell me. I don't have a lot of car knowledge and he spent a lot of time answering all my questions and was very knowledgable of all the different cars I inquired about. Would recommend to all friends and family.

Brad knew what I wanted

I came to Brad looking for a new daily driver to replace my old BMW. I told him I was looking for certain features like Bluetooth, heated seats, etc. Brad already knew I had an attraction to performance, so by the time I arrived at the lot, Brad had a car ready for me to test drive, a 2011 Mustang GT/CS. When I first saw it, I complained that I didn't like Mustangs (I had previously been an import fan). Brad asked if I had ever driven one, which of course I hadn't. So we hopped in and went for a drive. Less than 15 minutes into the drive I had decided that I actually like mustangs, and that I had found my next car. Turns out Brad knew what I wanted better than I did. Thanks!

Salesman experience

I bought my vehicle from Hendricks Dodge. Throughout my life I have purchased many vehicles and this sales experience was beyond imaginable. Brad Horton knew everything about every vehicle I looked at and also inquired about. My intentions were to buy a different car when I arrived but with his knowledge and experience he was able to show me the difference in the options and also the price versus what I was previously looking at. Long story short he put me in a better car with lower payments and I can say without a doubt that I would buy from him again. Another thing I appreciated is that I did not feel pressured into buying at this time and he was very professional. Great Job Brad Horton!

Salesman would not return calls

Salesman too busy trying to be the first salesman to engage all lot customers, rather than take care of one customer at at time. Never returns calls or does what he agrees to do. Like pulling teeth and hours of waiting in showroom to get him to do anything.Won't be back...

My service visit on 2/11/15 for my 2014 Dodge Avenger.

The reason for my visit was for an oil change and to have diagnostic check on the key switch and gear shift. Recently I've experienced the key able to turn vehicle off and removed while car not in park but any gear such as drive.

Tire Trouble

I drove my daughter and family from Huntsville to Hendricks to pickup a car they had purchased late on a Friday afternoon. We realized that I had a screw in the tire of my Jeep Cherokee. Upon arrival my son-in-law asked if they might be able to fix it while we were there. They said they could not repair it but Evelyn called tire places near the dealership to help me find a place for repair. At almost 6:00 I found it could not be repaired and needed a new tire. I went back to Hendricks because the tire store did not have the right tire for my Jeep. The service department went out of their way to accommodate and help fix my problem before I had to drive back to Huntsville alone . They worked late, put on a new tire, and did it with professionalism. Gunter Watkins and Paul Borge made sure my car was road-ready, with a smile, at almost 7:00 pm when I am sure they would have much rather been somewhere else.

This was my first time for buying a new car off the lot and Robert Hooks did a great job assistaing me. I even gave up and was going to go home and they gave me a better deal. I will return to them for sure.

Above and beyond what I expected!
