One of our favorite places . We have been buying cars from here since about 20 years . Never been anywhere else . We always go to either Kathleen or John , in total we have probably got 10-11 cars from them . Very ethical , professional and honest . We have got preowned cars and we added navigation , plastic on the bumper, and back camera . John and Kathleen , managed to get everything done in 1 day . We had got the car within 2 days paper work , and all the things we added . I don't think anyone would work with you and get the car ready so quick .

Great Buying Exeperionce

After speaking to every Benz dealership in the tri-state area I finally stumbled on this one. I was amazed by their level of professionalism and salesmanship. Buying a car is a grind of an experience BUT NOT WITH THEM!!!. Jeff and John made the interaction very pleasant and easy. Jeff reviewed every feature of the car in great detail. Before we left the dealership he insured that we knew how to use everything. Buying a car there was exiting (as buying a new car should be) He even went the extra mile and got my wife a flower. There are many good sale person but not this one

we considered two Mercedes-Benz dealers whom are nearby our house, Helms Bros and Ralley. We finally bought a new GLE350 from Helms Bros' Jason Chen. It turned out to be a very unpleasant experience. We got a fair price for a moderate equipped 2016 GLE350 after a marathon-styled negotiation. It's frustrated. Then picked up the car a few days later that was the nightmare began unfolded. We didn't look over the car very carefully on site.The next day we found out it has minor scratch here and there. The bumper looked like had been removded and put back for some reasons. We believed consumers should have been informed these issues at the first place instead of being fooled. We, as consumers, are vulnerable because we are have too much trust on the dealer. We have bought cars before but certainly it's the least pleasure have ever experienced. We do think honesty is very important for a business. We do hope they think the same way as we do.

My 2017 GLC 4MATIC !

Came in 2 days ago to lease a 2017 GLC 4MATIC and was greeted by Jason. Awesome dude also very very friendly! Treats you like family if you ask me. I leased a car not so long ago and he did his very BEST to help me instead of turning me down. I waited a couple of minutes and boom he came to me with good news and from there we went straight to the paperwork (which had me smiling) He's also a very patient person highly recommend. Not only that but anything you are unsure about you can have the confidence to ask him. Feels like your talking to your best friend or a brother. Went to this dealership to "look" at the E350 sport 4 matic. Spoke with Wilhelm Frank and John Kunz. They were very thorough showing me all the fine points about the 2016 model. I was expecting to buy a new car but I wasn't sure If I was going to go with this particular dealer or not. Amazing buying Experience

My experience with Helms Bro in Bayside, Queens and particularly with salesman Marlon Matamoros was very positive. I highly recommend this dealership because of the professionalism that everyone whom I deal with demonstrated. I had been looking to lease a sedan for the last three months and narrowed my search to a BMW 328i, Audi A4 or a Mercedes Benz C300 4Matic. I had come into the dealership just starting to shop around Kelvin kindly greeted us and answered all our questions we then decided to leave because we had just began our search. First class customer service

The dealership itself is a 4 star but our sales person is what makes it 5 star. Maurice, our sales guy, was so patient with us. Offered us test drIve without us asking. We test drove different car models, there was not even a tiny bit of hesitation when we ask to drive a couple different cars. Recommended us the GLC based on our needs; which we end up getting. There were some glitches when picking up our car, but Maurice made it work. Super patient when explaining each and every button in the car to my dad, even checked with us if we got home ok driving our new car in the heavy rain. Few days later after we got the car, he checked in again to see how everything was. Need I say more about how Maurice treats his customers? Definitely will come back to Maurice in the future!

Picked up a 2015 Mercedes Benz ML 350 on August 18, 2015. For my first 8 days of ownership I had to hand it into service and settle for a loaner car so Helms Bros can fix what should of been fixed. Asked Multiple times during my first 7 days I did not want the vehicle and wanted a different one but was not honored what is labeled on their Certified Pre-Owned section of Helms Bros website. From the beginning of my purchase I felt this place is way to shady for me. Management refuse to call their customers back when they promise they will. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM HELMS BROS AGAIN!!!!!! A big thumbs down to Suzanne Cochrane and Joh Kunz, they are the reason I will never return, Shame on you!!!!!

Horrible Service and General Management

As owner of S63 2015 i had certain expectations when it comes for service. WORST DEALERSHIP EVER. Sales staff tries hard to make a sale but SERVICE Dept MUST ensure customers return. Well, I am NOT returning as a customer and will make sure that NONE of my friends and colleagues even considers HELMS BROS.Please remeber, Susan (owner/manager) is the BIGGEST PROBLEM at HELMS in my opinion.Respectfully,MIKHAIL ILYAICH

I had come EMRACE issues with my new C300. My service advisor was Daniel Rhee, who was very professional. He was genuinely concerned with my time constraints, and gave me occasional updates while I waited. He let me know exactly what was happening, and my alternatives if my car was not fixed in a timely manner. Daniel was a pleasure to deal with....I appreciate his help.

Pleasurable experience

I've been searching for a car to lease for about a year and when I decided on the GLA 250 Helms Bros. was the dealership I choose. Not only for the prime location but, for their reputation for being professional and courteous. Marlon was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and made it feel like a was dealing with friend. Daniel handled the financial aspect with speed and efficiency. My mother was empressed as well and will return when she is ready to purchase her car. Overall my expierance was excellent.

This is a "first class" dealership for a "first class" car. Nice showroom, and the employees are courteous and professional.My salesperson, Maurice, gave me seamless buying experience from sale to delivery. He has a great attitude and really wants to help his customers. He reads his customers well, and presents cars to the customers based on the wants and needs. 2015 c300

Everybody wants a good deal when they go to a car dealership. I was disgusted to myself that i was lured into something that will be my problem and misery for 3 years. It all started from not knowing the car he gave me is a demo car instead of a new one. Kevin keeps on saying its a new car for the business to be done and over with without holding any kind of morals, standards and quality of service. The first day i went to get the car, It was not even ready that i have to drive to the service center to set up the gps. I got the car june 17 2015 and I've been going back and forth tho the service center 8 times. With all the hassle and aggravations I'm going through right now, this will be my first and last time i will come to this place. Biggest mistake I've done and it was such a lesson learned from me.

Professional & knowledgable

This is our second time leasing a Mercedes Benz from Jeffrey Stampler! He is extremely helpful and has great knowledge and expertise. My Father had come a few years back to get a SLK250 and was happy to have met him. The lease was up for that car so we went back to get a C300 and Jeffrey knew the car very well inside and out. He taught me exactly how to use the car since it was different from what I had before. He was very straight forward and was so kind!! I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a car at Helms Bros. Overall experience 10/10!

2nd Time Lessee

This is my second lease of a GLK350 from Herman Ospina (Internet Sales). No hard sell, no bait and switch, and everything exactly as promised. And I never leave home - Herman delivers the car and paperwork to me and takes my old return car back with him. Excellent service and an excellent experience for the second time. Highly recommended.

Fair and straightforward

I generally have my full armor when it comes to dealerships, but I have to say dealing with Helms Bros and Peter Fearon was a pleasure. I was coming in from out of state (PA) and from initial internet contact and figuring out logistics, through the final sale, everything went off without a hitch and I feel like I was dealt with fairly and honestly. The negotiation process was smooth (including trade-in) and reasonable. I got a little less for my trade than I wanted, but Peter was able to work with me on the price of the car. I did get my own financing beforehand so I can't comment on that piece of things.Overall I walked away feeling like I got a fair deal without a ton of game-playing to get there. Despite being under no obligation to do so, Peter even arranged to take the car (an Infiniti not a Mercedes) to a local Infiniti dealer for an oil change and service before I picked it up. I would certainly recommend both Helms Bros. and Peter if you're in the market for a car.

The service staff don't give update of status.

Just like what my title is. Also, they don't return your call, and they don't have a loaner car for warranty repair. They had to rent a car from enterprice which asked me to pay extra insurance. I have never experienced that from rallye acura. I will consider try rallye benz for my next service. But I have pre-paid maitenance program, I don't know I can switch or not. But I really don't recommand this service center.

Excellent, Patient Service for First-Time Lessee

My husband and I were first-time lessees who had traversed the tri-state area in search of the right fit in terms of a dealer. We definitely wanted to establish a long-term relationship with the dealer we chose. We were certainly not disapopinted by Hels Brothers. Before making the trek to Bayside I touched base with Rich via phone who was incredibly helpful and followed through with the car availabilities promptly via e-mail after our phone chat. He was extremely patient as we decided (over a period of a couple hours!) which car to go with at the dealership. And when we returned to pick it up he had someone pick us up from the train station, took us thorugh a lengthy and helpful tutorial on all the new features, and even helped us install the bumper guards we brought. Overall, RICH DELIVERS THE TYPE OF SERVICE YOU EXPECT FOR WHEN YOU GO TO MERCEDES! We're only a couple months into our lease but are already looking forward to renewing with Rich.
