After shopping around and looking at dealer reviews, we decided to purchase our Expedition from Heller Ford (about an hour away from us). I worked with Cory Bellot and he is outstanding. Everything was easy and efficient (most communications were done in text and email). They are very considerate of your time, and the flow is very good through the dealership (salesperson, manager, business). We will definitely use them again for our next Ford purchase.

My husband found the truck he was interested in at Heller Ford, El Paso, IL., thru the internet. From the first contact with DJ Wickman when he emailed my husband, to the final paperwork when my husband purchased the vehicle, DJ Wickman represented his company with a five star performance! Not only was DJ knowledgeable about ALL aspects of the Ford vehicles, he was pleasant and gave us a straight forward negotiations, which my husband and I both appreciated. DJ is truly an asset to the Heller Ford team, and my husband and I would return to this dealership, even though we do not live close, to buy another vehicle.

After several months of research and information gathering, I decided to purchase a new or slightly used 2016 Ford Fusion Titanium AWD. I shopped locally but quickly realized that dealers in my area either did not have what I wanted or if they did, we could not agree on price. So I expanded my search nationwide.This is when I discovered Heller Ford. I saw the car I wanted at a price I was willing to pay. I called the dealership, spoke to Mike Gannon who promptly provided me with all the information I needed. The car was a dealer demo or daily loaner in my desired color, model, and trim with an odometer reading of 5,597 miles. However, when I arrived at the dealership, the odometer read just shy of 6,000 miles. Okay, what gives? I asked the sales person who gave me a nondescript answer that on the face of it made no sense. He couldn't plausibly tell me why the descrepancy differed from what was advertised. I inspected the car, went for a test drive, and decide then and there to purchase the car. The process was quite convivial, comfortable, and convenient thanks to Mike Gannon and his associate, Kris Born.I still rate my experience as "outstanding" with one exception: Sell the car as advertised without excuses or need for an explanation that is not clearly stated in the product for sale.

If you are looking for a tremendous salesman, you need to see Cory Bellot. Cory in my opinion is one of the very best sales people at Heller Ford in El Paso, IL. This is our 2nd car that we purchased from him. When you work with Cory, he always has your best interest at heart. He will find out your vehicle needs and then suggest what best fits for you. He works to give you the best price on your new or used car, and if you have a trade, he shows you how they come up with the numbers that are fair to you. At delivery, he has the vehicle all clean and gassed up and takes time with you to go over the new vehicle operation and even setup your cell phones to the radio. If you have a question on the car, you can call or email him and he gets back to you promptly with the solution. Best part is when you are getting your car serviced, he may pop in and see how thing are going with you. Also down the road he will do follow-up emails if you have any questions. I recently happened upon Heller Ford in El Paso, IL after seeing a marked down Ford Focus on their website. I went onto the lot, and Pete Oldham came out to help. He took me on a test drive, and let me look at another vehicle on the lot before we went through the process of buying the car. At every point, Pete was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, or would get an answer when he didn't have it. I never felt overly pressured into buying the car which made the experience that much better. I would highly recommend Heller Ford for a future car purchase!

We were in a market for a new car for my college graduating daughter. While she had an idea of a car she wanted to buy - she was intimidated by a potential pressure and "aggressive" selling she might get from a sales person trying to sell her something she does not want and at a high price. She had selected Ford Escape as a vehicle of her choice and by looking through www.cargurus.com she found out that Heller Ford had a few 2013-2014 models in stock. We travel over 80 miles to the shop; and were paired up with Cory Bellot. And that is were the miracles began to happen. First - my daughter found the model/color of the car she liked which had all the features she was hoping for; second - we were able to agree to a very acceptable purchase price and MOST IMPORTANTLY the service was one of the best in my car purchasing history (and we bought over a dozen of vehicles for the family in the last 20 years). Cory was very attentive - there when we needed him to answer questions without hovering over us and pressuring us. He was professional, courteous, with great listening skills. We felt like he took care of us as we were his family. We will always remember the way he took care of us, and definitely will recommend the dealership and Cory to all friend and family.

We had always bought our vehicles locally but this time we ventured out about 100 miles from home. Was a bit leery about doing business with a dealer we knew nothing about. But we were very pleased with our salesman DJ Wickman. He took a lot of time with us and never pushed us into buying. Price was good and their offer for trade was in the ballpark. But what really impressed me DJ never once put my 9 year old vehicle down and try to pick it apart. Previous dealers have always made you feel like your vehicle is total junk no matter how good of shape it's in or how low the miles. We definitely recommend Heller Ford and DJ Wickman for a good buying experience.

I was searching for a used F250/350 to replace my aging 88 Chevy 2500. I found a 2008 F250 Lariat on the heller ford site and went to look at it. Cory made it very easy to understand the process and made it a very pleasant experience. When I had a few issues with the truck after I bought it, Cory did all he could to make sure the issues were resolved, including purchasing a part to fix the truck out of his own pocket. Very happy with my experience.

Upon having another ford dealer evaluate my pre-owned vehicle purchased at heller, several issues were found that should have been discovered upon a thorough inspection prior to purchase. In particular, the rear brakes were not in working order. I feel this dealer compromised my family's safety and I would not recommend. Further, they were notified of this issue, and told me they would see what they could do to resolve the issue. They did not call me back, so apparently they can do nothing to improve their process. I would recommend an independent inspection if intending to buy a vehicle from heller ford.

I have now bought four cars from the Heller Stores. Great service and fair pricing. I live a couple miles from a local ford dealership but gladly drive 25 miles to do business at Heller. Even with a huge inventory, they were happy to locate the exact vehicle I wanted. They did not push me to they easy choice on their lot. Fair, honest and not at all pushy.

I recently purchased a used vehicle for my teenage son at Heller in El Paso. I worked with Travis Doubet and he was fantastic! Travis did a really good job of listening to what I needed in a vehicle and carefully made his suggestion of a vehicle. I test drove the car he suggested and was very happy with his recommendation. I took the afternoon to look at some other options and seriously consider the vehicle he recommended. I called him and asked, "should we consider this or that vehicle"? For each vehicle, he had a very good reason why it was not a good choice for our family. I felt that I could really trust Travis and I felt he was very knowledgeable. He even took steps to help me "sell it" to the teenager who my husband and I thought would balk at the vehicle. We have had the vehicle for 2 weeks now and we are very happy. I feel like we got a good deal on this vehicle. The best part of the experience was definitely working with Travis. He did a great job and I will be recommending him every chance I get. Thanks, Travis! You made what could have been a stressful situation much, much easier that I expected!

Buying a car is one of my least favorite things to do mainly because of the "sales" process that you have to go through. (No offense meant) Buying my 2015 F150 from Mike Gannon at Heller was, to say the least, a very pleasant experience. Mike didn't try to push me to anything other than the vehicle that I was truly interested in, he was able to explain ALL of the features/options on the vehicle and he was just plain a very likable guy. I've purchased many cars over my lifetime. I say "many" because I'm old. This was my first car from Heller and it proved to be a wise choice because of the sales executive, Mike Gannon...of course, the quoted price helped. He was the most accommodating person with whom I've ever done business. He brought the Buick to my house and discussed in detail the car's features and benefits and fully answered all of my questions. There was no high pressure and everything was positive. I did learn to stand in the shade and talk with him because the glare of the sun off his bald head made seeing him difficult. Seriously, the follow-up after the purchase was important illustrating how much they appreciated my business. I would highly recommend The Heller Store. We were died in the wool GM people until last month, when we bought our first Ford from Pete Oldham at Heller Ford in El Paso. Pete had to get the car from the Pontiac store. While we waited, Pete provided us with a beverage and made sure we were comfortable. Once the vehicle arrived he plated it up and handed us the keys. Once we decided this vehicle was what we wanted, we were out the door in 30 minutes after signing all the papers. The process was fast, efficient, and we came away with a new car that works.Fast forward 3 weeks, I am looking for a brand new pickup truck. I go back to Pete Oldham and ask him to drive several new F150 models. He put in a few King Ranches, Platinums, and a Lariat. I believe I test drove seven new F-150's at Heller. Despite this, I still wanted a new GMC Sierra Denali. I went to four GMC dealers, including the dealer next door to Heller. I was frustrated by the process of buying a new GMC through the local dealers, and the last dealer lied to me. I walked into Heller frustrated and found Pete. We built a new F150 King Ranch up exactly the way I wanted it. He went to the desk to find one on someone's else's lot. He returns back to his desk with a window sticker for an incoming truck exactly like the one I want, same color and everything. Pete then goes back and works the best deal and returns with a deal that was far better than what the four GMC dealers provided. Pete was very straight forward with the process and I appreciate his candor in such a major purchase. I agreed on the deal and made a deposit on the incoming truck. My husband and I were looking for an SUV for me last fall, and after much research, we decided on a Ford Edge. We visited approximately 5 dealerships in the central Illinois area during our buying process, and were lucky enough to meet with Craig Roberts at Heller on a Saturday afternoon. After test driving a couple of the models, both new and used, that were available, we were still unsure as to whether we wanted a new or used vehicle, or even, what color/options we would prefer. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Craig was willing to find the perfect car for me, down to the exact detail, of even a used Ford Edge. I put together my list of color, mileage and desired options, and within 3 days, Heller had found my car! It was located in California and was immediately shipped to the dealership. I was nervous about buying a 2 yr old car this way, but it arrived in perfect condition and matched all of my desired options. I have been driving this vehicle now for 4 months and couldn't be happier with it and the exceptional service I have received at Heller. The first concern I had was when I asked the salesman (Rich Tom) about the previous use of their vehicle. It was listed as fleet, rental, &/or lease vehicle on the AutoCheck report. He said it was a fleet vehicle that most likely sat in a companys parking lot most of the time until it was needed for business trips.Next, I was shocked when the salesman came back with the market value for my trade-in & just laid a notecard with the number on his desk. I had researched the trade-in values for my vehicle on Kelley Blue Book (KBB) & NADA (published by a dealer association) websites. His value was 50% less than what those publications estimated. What was even more surprising was that neither he or the dealership was unwilling to negotiate the value of either vehiclethe vehicle I was interested in purchasing & my trade-in. I had never experienced a car-buying experience where there was absolutely no negotiation of values. He just sat back, implying that it was all up to me to decide whether I wanted the deala take it or leave it offer.I got a pretty good deal on their vehicle, so I decided to take their deal. After I left the dealership though, I had second thoughts about the previous use of their vehicle & the amount they gave me for my trade-in, so I emailed the salesman & the finance manager (Kris Born). It was after business hours when I left & they were closed the next day. In his response, the salesman reiterated that the values were firm & he wasnt willing to negotiate. He also mentioned that, since I was concerned, we had dicussed that the previous use of the vehcile was the fact that it was a rental in Orlando, Florida. We clearly didnt discuss this, so I then had serious concerns, mostly about it being a rental in a very poular vacation destination. However, the finance manager indicated the deal was final the second I signed all of the paperwork & there was nothing he could do to reverse. I had just given him a personal check at that point while I was waiting for my loan to be approved. They were closed the entire time before & after I sent my email, so Im pretty sure they somehow couldve accomodated me, if they really wanted customer satisfaction & to preserve their reputation. Apparently, they didnt. Although I still had concerns, I had purchased the extended warranty, so I felt better about keeping the vehicle. They really didnt give me much choice.I was interested in what they would list my trade-in at, so I checked their website later in the week. The price wasnt listed, but I noticed the odometer reading was off by 50,000 miles on the high side. I incorrectly signed the odometer statement with the inaccurate mileage. Again, I emailed the delearship, this time to negotiate the value of my trade-in since the wrong mileage was used initially. The KBB & NADA values were $1,200 different. I was willing split the difference, so I asked them for a $600 check to be sent to me, along with the corrected odometer form. The finance manager immediately responded & indicated it was just a typo & he wasnt willing to give me any more money for my trade. The store was closed, so he was unable to verify this for certain, especially given the time it took to respond. The next day he actually checked with his store to verify which amount was used. In other words, he clearly admitted that he didnt check before he initially responded. This is the second time the Heller dealership clearly deceived me. He sent me a generic form with the corrected miles & the date I was initially at the dealership. It didnt have a signature or anything else making it look official. It looked to me like it was a form they typed up the day I brought it to their attention to try to appease me. Apparently, they have no interest in correcting the odometer reading with federal or state agencies. At this point, due to my previous encounters, Ive lost all trust in the Heller Stores.I responded, & copied the sales manager, by indicating all of this was very deceptive & unfair. The finance manager again denied any wrongdoing. The sales manager didnt bother to repond. As a result, I indicated I would share my negative experience with anyone who would listen & would report them to the Better Business Bureau. Thefinance manager offered me two free oil changes as a show of good faith. I told them that wasnt even close to making things good given all they had done. I told him I was insulted by the offer. I guess theyre not interested in their reputation by trying harder to to preserve their relationship with me.I suffered financial loss due to the dealership's deceptive & unfair trade practices. I wouldn't have paid as much for their vehicle, or maybe not have purchased it at all, & I would've asked for more money for my trade-in.

I decided to shop for a pickup from Heller Ford because I heard, this dealership is the largest Ford truck dealership in IL. They have a huge inventory to choose from, however the truck I wanted was brought in from another dealership because they didn't have it on the lot. This wasn't a big deal, they can't have everything. I purchasing this vehicle because at the time I didn't know any dealership could transfer a truck like this, I thought this was something only large truck dealers could do. If I would have known this, I would have definitely purchased this elsewhere. The sales person I dealt with did not go above and beyond what he had to do to sell this vehicle. He was less than friendly at times. I would not recommend this salesperson to anyone, there seems to be quite a few good reviews on other sales folks at this dealership, pick another and have a better buying experience than I did.

This long distance transaction was flawless thanks to Peter.His communication was instantaneous, he provided good information and helped me negotiate the deal from 1900 miles away. He is professional, respectful and informed about the product he sells. Upon delivery of the vehicle Pete identified a small paint flaw on one of the doors. He immediately and proactively took action to resolve the problem. He acted as a liaison between me and the Heller body shop and arranged a loaner. I doubt if many/any salespeople remain involved with their customers after the sale is complete. Pete Oldham is an exceptional asset to the Heller team and I would not hesitate to refer friends or family to Pete.

I found Heller Ford on the Auto Trader website. I was looking for a used electric car when their listing came up. I emailed the dealer asking about the car, and Cliff Sage responded. He answered all my questions and made the process very easy, I ended up purchasing a 2012 Mitsubishi i-MiEV at a very competitive price. I came down with a trailer, loaded up my car and was on my way. I spent less than an hour at the dealership. I wanted to keep going, I had to drive 250 miles back home. Car purchase was simple and fair. I looked for weeks and Heller kept coming up as offering cars at a good value price,. We had a verbal agreement for a repair. Since I live out of state, the repair was to be done at another Ford Dealer. That dealer overcharged-'looked grim for a day or two, but Neil Heller got personally involved and they lived up to every word. I am the kind of person who has always begrudgingly dealt with car dealerships. I understand both sides are trying to make the deal as advantageous as possible for themselves but have generally left dealerships feeling used and unappreciated; felt like my intelligence was being discounted I was being spoken down to. I had a mind-blowing experience when shopping for a used truck with Cory Bellot at Heller Ford. He had helped my girlfriend shopping for a new vehicle and she had a great experience with him so I set up a meeting to look at a used truck I saw online. As soon as we met he told me "We can take this truck out but before you decide anything I want to show you one we just took in on trade." My first thought was "uh-oh, here we go", but I was surprised to find out the truck he wanted to show me was actually less expensive, and in much better shape - he was actually HELPING ME to find a better fit for what I wanted. The experience was top-notch from then through the sale, with him even going out of his way to tackle a service concern I had shortly after buying the truck. They even replaced the brakes before I picked the truck up as a result of their own inspection, after I had already signed to buy the truck. With most dealerships I would have expected them to send the truck out the door as-is and gladly welcome me back in a couple of weeks to charge me for the brake service. Heller Ford, and Cory Bellot in particular, seem to have a refreshing new approach (which is actually a throw-back to the older approach from before my time) to being in the car sales business - treat the customer with respect and appreciation, and go out of your way to ensure customer satisfaction. I now consider myself a loyal Heller customer, and will always give them the first shot at my business moving forward based on my recent experiences.

The dealership had a very nice selection of used Ford Fusions and the prices were very reasonable. I was not local to the dealership area and Ross Ketcham, a salesman with Heller Ford, was extremely helpful with my all my questions and requests for information including, photos of the worst blemishes inside and out. The car appeared to be in in excellent condition based on the website photos but Ross found a few small scratches and dirty looking spots on a seat. I asked if these could be repaired and he said they would try. A few days later he sent me photos of the damaged areas which were significantly improved. When I visited the dealership and saw the car there were no surprises. The car had recently been and vacuumed and the condition was as Ross had described. Ross had copies of all of the services performed by the dealership ready for me to review (and keep when I decided to purchase the vehicle). The price of the vehicle as reasonable based on my research. I highly recommend Ross as an excellent salesman.

I was initially searching for a Ford Escape and was in touch with TJ. TJ was originally very helpful, and let me know the options that he had before I drove 2 hours to their dealership. TJ also got me in contact with Kris, who is Financing, who gave me alot of information on financing and rebates if I chose to purchase a new vehicle. I then decided that I wanted a Ford Edge, and TJ again was very helpful with letting me know what was available at this dealership with the options that I wanted.I picked out on Edge that I went to see last Tuesday. TJ informed me that this was a vehicle that they had just received, and had been through service and was getting detailed while I was on my way there. When I drove the car, once of the brakes seemed a little off, and TJ told us that he would have it checked out. I decided that I did want to purchase this vehicle. My boyfriend had to leave, and told TJ that the car neeed to have all rotors and brakes replaced. TJ assured us that he would have this taken care of. I waited at the dealership for 3 1/2 hours, when I was told that the vehicle was done and good to go. When I drove the car home, my boyfiend (who is a certified mechanic) noticed right away that none of the rotors or brakes had been replaced, and the only thing that had been done was the front rotors had been rotated. There was also alot of wax left inside and on the roof from being detailed. He called TJ and questioned why they did not replace everything, as he was told would be done. TJ said that he would get information and call us back the next day. The next day, we tried contacting TJ several times with no response, then finally I received a text from TJ that he no longer worked at the dealership and could not help us any further.We then contacted Heller and spoke to Jim (sales manager I assume?) who told us that they would come pick up the Edge the following Monday (this happened on Wednesday) and replace the brakes and motors, and would also re-do the detailing that was not a good job to begin with. On Saturday, my back right side brake locked up and was smoking. On Monday morning, my car was picked up and I let the guy know about the brake issue from Satruday. I was contacted Monday afternoon by Jim who told me that everything would be completed on Tuesday, and the car would be returned to me on Wednesday. On Wednesday at 11:30am, I called Jim to check on the status of the work since I hadn't heard from him, and he told me that all the work had been completed, and it was about to be detailed, and would be returned at approximately 3pm. I received a message at 1:45pm that the car was still not satisfactory, so they had ordered a part that would be delievered the next morning. At 1pm on Thursday, we were contacted that the work was almost done, but they were unsure it could be brought back in time before I got off work, but they could bring it early the next morning (Friday) I assured them that I would wait at work for the car to be brought back. We requested that Jim send a sheet detailing everything that had been replaced.When I received the car back at 5pm,I noticed right away that nothing had been detailed again, all the wax was still inside the doors, and the console and steering wheel were covered in dirty fingerprints. When I got home, my boyfriend looked at it and knew immediately that only the rear rotors & brakes had been replaced, and there is nothing anywhere in the vehicle showing the work they had done.It took FOUR days to replace 2 brakes and 2 rotors. I have not been back in contact with Jim regarding the issue, but I am very disappointed. I will not purchase a vehicle from this location again.

I made a call and from the first phone call I felt like they were willing to work with me to get me in the right vehicle. Ross Ketcham is the man when it comes to customer service. He got with us when we first arrived and made us feel like family. He wasn't pushy or trying to sell us a car that we really didn't want. He just made our car buying experience very relaxed and stress free. Thanks to him and Heller Ford we are now the owners of a 2013 Traverse that we are very pleased with. A very clean car with low miles for a great price. I have been researching used vehicles online for close to a year and in earnest for the last couple of months. No dealers close to me had what I wanted. We stopped at Heller Ford on our way to a conference and got there after closing time. Ron Kizer made us feel welcome and went out of his way to get the details on the Jeep we were interested in. We were unable to see the Jeep that night because they were putting brand new tires on it. Instead of my driving forty miles back to the dealership the next day, Ron arranged for sales associate Frank Hill to bring the Jeep to me at the conference so my husband would also be able to test drive it. I could not believe how they went out of their way to help us. Everyone we worked with was friendly, helpful and low pressure. I love my new to me Jeep and even though they are close to 100 miles away, Heller Ford will be the first place we look the next time we are vehicle shopping.

Drove from Springfield to El Paso to check out a vehicle I saw online. Didn't end up liking it and was showed another vehicle that the salesman thought I might like. I did like it and wanted to purchase it. The vehicle I was interested in purchasing had a broken reflector, small dent above it and a chip in the windshield. Salesman brushed it off like those things were no big deal and said they would not fix any of them. If he had really wanted to make a good impression, they would have fixed those few minor things without a fuss. I also was not sure whether I wanted to trade in a vehicle and told the salesman that. Tried to get a bottom line price without a trade in, but he kept pushing and trying to figure in the trade. I ended up buying it anyway because I really liked it. I also had to replace the windshield wipers within a week after purchasing and they didn't bother to change the oil in it before selling it so I had to pay for an oil change within a few weeks after I brought it home. Will not purchase a vehicle here again!

We went to Heller after having visited Uftring in East Peoria where NO ONE even came out of the dealership to help us, Velde in Pekin whose salesman was less than knowledgeable about the vehicle we were looking at. We met Ross Ketcham who was very knowledgeable on the vehicle we purchased. He was not pushy or overbearing. We ended up ordering our vehicle and Ross kept us up to date on the status of the truck. Upon delivery Ross went through and helped us set up our phone SYNC before we left the dealership. He has since followed up to see how things are going. I would recommend Ross to anyone looking for a vehicle. Very pleased!

I had been looking for weeks, maybe months for something with low mileage and reliable. I scoured the Internet almost daily. It kept taking me to cars at Heller Ford. They had the best looking vehicles at the best prices. I drove the hour to their lot on a Sunday, knowing they were closed, but wanted to check out the cars on their lot. Wow! They have a huge inventory. Excited to test drive one, I spoke with Cory and drove the hour drive back up there. Cory was very professional. He answered all my questions and even had the car warmed up for my test drive. I didn't purchase that particular day but a couple of weeks later, I found myself back at Heller Ford. On valentines day no less. I test drove one, then gave Cory all my "specs" on what I wanted on a vehicle. He pulled around to the front of the building in a very classy, white SUV. I didn't even get out of the parking lot before I knew this one was for me! Cory wrote everything up, walked me into the finance office where Chris worked his magic, and voila! A new car for me. Or should I say, Happy Valentines Day present to me!! Anyway, I highly recommend Heller Ford. I will definitely be looking there before any other place for any future cars. We live in Iowa & had been looking for a 2015 150 4*4 Lariat with some special options , We finally found it at Heller & purchased the vehicle sight unseen . The sale was done over the phone .Craig made us feel very comfortable & we didn't have a problem purchasing the truck with out seeing it. We wanted it rustproofed & undercoated & had to travel 3.5 hours to pick up the truck. Craig Roberts made sure the truck was done & full of gas when we arrived. He made the transaction very easy . I do wish we would have spent a little more time going over the navigation program. The truck is beautiful & has lots of options & technology so there is a lot to learn. Craig said to give him a call with questions but we are trying to read & learn on our own first. I would recommend Heller Ford if you are looking for a friendly, family owned business who cares about their customer.

This is the place to go if you want a good car at a fair price within a short time. I had just moved across country and had 1 day before I had to pay for another week on my rental. I had done my research, knew the vehicle I wanted to test drive, and it was all warmed up and waiting for me. The set price was fair, it was so clean you'd never guess it was used, and the salesman, Cory, was very helpful...gave me a ride when I needed one, and a full tank of gas. The financing part was fairly painless...sure, I could have done better if I'd walked in with a pre-approved loan, but not better enough to worry about.No one tried to push undercoating or identity theft protection or life insurance, which I really appreciated. When I found out that I wouldn't be needing to drive all that much and wanted to cancel the extended warranty, they were helpful and did it (as far as I know...haven't gotten confirmation paperwork yet).The CarGurus website combs through online prices at various dealerships in an area and reports whether the offered prices are bad, fair, good, or excellent. Heller had more "excellent deal" ratings than any other dealership in the area. Even if you're not sure what kind of car you want, I feel like you could walk in there and get some good advice and information, even if you ended up buying elsewhere.I love my 2013 Ford Focus Titanium, and I love that I don't get flashbacks to a negative buying experience every time I look at the car.Thanks, Cory! No one likes the price they pay for the vehicle they purchased, but on a positive note...My experience at Heller Ford was not dredful as I had experienced with many other auto dealerships in the past. Like many dealership, it would take almost all day to complete a sale transaction waiting to agree on the price; going back and forth from the pit boss and the salesman. This was a simple transaction. I knew what I wanted, we talked about price, they gave me a fair offer on the trade in and we talked about options. It seems like I was in and out of there. I had options added to the 2014 Ford Raptor that did not allow me to take the vehicle home that day. However, Salesman, Rich Tom kept me in the loop when parts would be in and OFFERED to deliver the new vehicle to my home, which is 40 miles away. Kudos for going beyond my expectations. That's what customer service is all about. If you have a bad experience you'll tell 100 people. I'm changing things up...I had a positive experience and I'm telling 100,000 people and then some. Rich Tom (our salesman) simply made the long drive to Heller Ford worth our considerable time and effort. Rich considered our rather specific and considerable vehicle needs as well as our rather specific and in-considerable family budget and worked very hard to find the right vehicle for us. He actually found it in the service department as it had JUST been traded for. He was able to get it washed and out of service for us to look at and drive. With absolutely NO pressure, Rich helped us to examine the vehicle and assess a couple of repair/maintenance needs. He assured us that the dealership would take care of the issues we, together, noticed and agreed were problems---and that they would complete the thorough inspection/repair process they had already begun. We agreed upon a very fair price (the dealership ALREADY had it priced very fairly via KBB, etc.) and we signed paperwork to agree to purchase contingent upon our approval of the repair issues. Rich called us several days later and we were able inspect and drive the vehicle (again, with NO pressure). We agreed that the dealership had done a great job of attending to our concerns and the deal was completed very openly and very quickly. Thank you to Rich Tom for taking such great care of us. We drove away proudly in our 2004 Chevy Avalanche, and took with us a genuine feeling that we had not only made a good deal on a great vehicle, but that we had also made a new friend ! For my first new car buying experience Rich was the best!!! We love our Fiesta and have recommended Heller to our entire family. It was very easy going and we were not pressured into buying something we didn't want. recently bought a 2011 F-150 had key issue after writing a review which I didn't think anyone read, which I had never written a review. It seemed to excite a few folks. I have been contacted severaltimes by Rich Tom salesman which sold me truck, really nice guy and offered to pay out of his own pocket which I would not accept. Problem I had was attitude of service department which Rich said that Ricky was a nice guy. Guess he was having a bad day. Since then Rich offered me remote starter at 1/2 price so I'm still out $175 but will be well worth it when it's 15 below.I wish they were more people with a Rich Tom attitude and a positive one. While they were of course helpful in making a sale, we have not once received a phone call to see how we are liking or disliking our vehicle. In fact, my husband left a message to be contacted about something that had to be repaired and was never returned a phone call. After their maintenance check we were told everything was great. However, when we took it to an actual Toyota dealer, they found several things that needed to be addressed and should have already been taken care of before we purchased the vehicle. We are glad we got the vehicle we wanted, but will never go through Heller Ford again.

This is the fouth vehicle that we have bought from a Heller Dealership, and the second from the ford dealership. They were great to work with, they found the vehicle I wanted in the color I wanted, and they met the price I was wanting to pay, and gave a more than fair trade in on my vehicle. On my other vehicle I had they did maintenance on it, and took care of it without any problems, and when I needed a loaner vehicle they made sure I had one. However there were few things that he and his co-worker (Dan Pozzuto) promised me as a good sales pitch and to gain the customer confidence but could not fulfill so far.I tried reaching out Dan Pozzuto for some unreasonable charges on the work order for just replacing the air filter (though they should have replaced it free of cost before selling the vehicle) and till date he didnt contact me back inspite of several attempts to reach him directly on his cell, through the office reception and through Cory as well. At the time of Pre-sales he boasted that the only time he doesnt pick up the customer's call is when is asleep. But unfortunately that's not true. I have been extremely disappointed with this. And i strongly advise fellow customers to not trust his words.Cory promised me to replace the broken accessory of this vehicle and i am still patiently waiting for him to get this fixed and its been over 3 months now. Though he has been responding promptly to my emails and giving affirmative responses, i didn't get a productive response so far and i am still waiting for that.Overall, i think that their sales team is good with the only caveat that they may not full-fill on a timely fashion the promises made during pre-sales. I request the Heller ford management to make a note of it and improve these areas for building better customer confidence and for encouraging customers to continue business with Heller in future.I would like to rate my experience with Cory 4 stars out of 5 and 1 star out of 5 for Dan Pozzutto.Thanks.

I was in an unfortunate accident that totaled my car. For the last week I have been looking at cars at many dealerships in my current city of Bloomington-Normal, IL. I called and spoke with Rich, I inquired about two different cars one being a Dodge Avenger, and the other a Chrysler 200. They had both cars and when I got there he had them both pulled up front and ready to be test driven. I only drove the Avenger because I actually knew this car was the right car for me after being test driven. The staff is great, even the finance manager is very helpful. Only bad experience is with Business Mgr Garrett. My 1st bank loan was refused, even after they had checked with me by phone. Next day, with no prior conversation, I was being placed with the 2ndbank offering--this was already done when I walked in to pick up my new Ford. I had already requested Mid-Illini Bank in the beginning--NO you were not using them because they were too high. I have found that is not true & that I COULD have had my loan from them.I am now placed in the position of paying $95 to change banks, if that is what I want done.

I just bought a used SUV from Heller Ford and couldn't be happier about the car and the experience. The sales person really listened to my families needs and was happy to let me test drive a variety of SUVs to help me get comfortable and make the right decision. Unlike those other places that get annoyed when you want to test drive a couple of cars. A used car fit into my budget and was confident it met the high quality standards of Heller Ford. I was car shopping with my son, and I wasnt sure that would go over at the dealership. The first experience was pretty good, the second was good, our next experience was absolutely terrible - causing us to buy from Dennison Ford in Bloomington, but this purchase was excellent as far as customer service, friendliness, and overall expereince. Mostly due to our salesman, Gerald Krotke. The finance manager was a good guy, but the expereince was dreadful. When we hear the pitch or already know what we want of don't want, then leave it at that. It ruins the expereince from that point when the pitch becomes a painful and almost deal breaking expereience.

I'm a returning customer and beyond happy. To put things in perspective I flew out to El Paso twice specifically to purchase vehicles from Heller Ford and drove back home. I can not say enough nice things about this dealership, both times I've got exactly the truck that I originally wanted at the price that I was expecting. Everything was done over the phone or e-mail so when I got there all I had to do is to enjoy a nice cup of coffee, the company of wonderful people and professionals, sign on the dotted line and take off in my new vehicle, as happy as a clam. The selection is excellent, financing options are readily available and offered, but the best thing is the superb customer service, you'll always feel that you're a valued customer. The dealership also followed up a few times after the purchase just to make sure I was absolutely satisfied and happy with the experience and the vehicle. Heller Ford was great from the initial phone call. We had looked on the web site and called to set up a test drive, on our way to the dealer Jerry had called to let us know the truck was pulled up, fueled, and ready for us to take it for a spin. Our first impression of the dealership as a whole was fabulous. Jerry greeted us with a smile and handshake and also told us the best route for our test drive. Jerry was very helpful and informative. He answered all our questions and even explained a few features on the truck we had no idea about. A few laughs and little paperwork later, we driving off in our new truck. To my surprise, our buying experience did not end there. We received a follow up call and e mail from Heller asking if we were satisfied. I did not feel pressured to respond positively, if there was anything i was not happy with i would have felt very comfortable discussing it. However, we were thrilled with our experience from beginning to end. This is not the first new vehicle I have purchased but this is my first Ford. This is the fifth vehicle I have purchased from Heller Ford and the sixth vehicle I have purchased from the Heller Stores (one being purchased at the Pontiac dealership). I purchased a 2006 F-150 King Ranch in December of 2005 at Heller Ford in El Paso, Ill. I was very satisfied with the purchase and followup by the team at Heller Ford. My truck has been great and recently I decided to do an internet search of the inventory at Heller Ford for a new 2012 F-150 King Ranch. I found exactly what I was looking for and submitted a request to Heller Ford. Within 24 hours, Michael Masterson called me on my cell phone and said they had exactly what I wanted.Dealing long distance, Michael and the sales team made me a very fair offer for trading in my 2006 on the new vehicle. My wife and I drove the 2 1/2 hours to the dealership to test drive the new vehicle. We were thrilled with the new Ford F-150King Ranch and within a short time, had signed the deal, traded in our old truck and drove home in the new one. Michael made the purchase effortless, arranging for any needs we had immediately. The dealership is clean, quiet, and the final paperwork was done in a private office, a situation you don't find too often anymore in other dealerships.
