2015 VW GTI

Bought a 2015 GTI from Hall. I have worked with them in the past (parts department) when fixing my older GTI. Corey (salesman) did not pressure me into buying the car and communicated with me promptly through texts when I had questions between visits. I did a lot of car research so I knew what I wanted going in. Saw the car on cars.com and could not be more happy with my choice in dealership.

Must see Victor

Victor was an amazing salesperson. We have met many sales people along our 4 month car buying journey and he was definitely the one we liked the most. We met some 'slick' sales people who made us run away. In fact, we stopped looking for a month because a salesperson irritated my husband so much we dreaded walking onto another car lot. But you never experience that with Victor. He listened to what we wanted and never tried pressuring us into anything. I was persisting in getting a manual transmission car, which was proving to be quite difficult to find one that had a manual transmission and the luxury we wanted. We visited quite a few dealerships and every one tried talking us out of getting a manual. I'm guessing it's because if we were to get an automatic, their job would be quite easy. Victor was the only one who did not try to pressure me into an automatic, and was more than willing, and confident, he could find the car I would love. Which he did, we bought a VW Passat- and I couldn't love it more! It was great experience and he was an awesome sales person. Very knowledge about all the brands of cars and very personable, and relatable After we got the car home we realized we didn't have an owner's manual. I e-mail Victor about it and within the week it was delivered in the mail. I highly recommend Victor for your next car buying experience.

great buying experience

Bought a 15 passat tdi at what I feel to be a fair price. Josh Barkstrom was the sales associate and went out of his way to ensure delivery. If I purchase another VW it will be with Josh. This dealership, aka Josh, was the only one who when contacted gave me an "out the door price", I knew exactly what I wanted so it was very straight forward. The vehicle gets great mpg. I'm some what disappointed with some of the aspects of this model but not with the purchase.

First time buyer

A few weeks ago I was in the market for a new vehicle, a Jeep Wrangler specifically. The night before I had stopped at another dealership to test drive one for the first time, and the next day my cousins and I were in search of another to test drive so I could have something to compare it to. We drove near the VW/Mazda dealership where I just happened to see a beautiful Wrangler in the lot. We stopped to look at it and Victor Siehr was out to help us within a couple of minutes. I was surprised to find out it was within my price range and Victor asked me if I'd like to test drive it. Not only did he let my younger cousins and I test drive it on our own, but he also let us take the T-tops off for it. I loved it and told him I would return that night with my husband to test drive it with him. We did just that and Victor was extremely helpful in explaining the buying process to us. We told him we would think on it that night and return the next morning. We made it out to the parking lot before we turned back around and told him we had thought enough and wanted to purchase the vehicle. He was extremely efficient and helpful and made this a very smooth, exciting and fun process. I was very impressed by him letting my cousins and I test drive independently. What really lead me to choose this dealership over the first one I had stopped at was Victor's hassle/pressure free salesmanship. He didn't follow us around or lurk over us as we looked at the vehicle. He let us know that when and if we had questions or a decision he would be right inside and showed us where his desk was located. When we did have questions he was straight up and honest with us and always had answers instead of talking around the question or making it sound like it was a stupid question like the other experience we had. We are extremely happy with our purchase, the dealership, and the dealer, Victor Siehr. As previously stated, my first time purchasing a car was made exciting, fun, and went very smoothly and I have Victor to thank for that! The next time my husband and I are in the market for a car, Hall Mazda and Victor will be our first stop!

Finally a dealership that appreciated our business

After three horrible experiences trying to buy a used 2012 Passat we landed on Hall's website. It was a six hour drive from Missouri but after talking with Victor and getting everything we wanted and an extremely great deal with less miles then we had been looking at on the car we decided it was worth it! Victor made it a very easy process and always called us back when he said he would. Jake in finance was wonderful! He worked with us to get what we needed for warranty, a great interest rate and was just plain friendly! This was our first time buying a car and we had a lot of questions. Jake took his time and answered every single one. He even walked us through the titling process since we were out of state. We didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed and after we left the office we felt we had made a new friend. I would recommend Hall for anyone looking to buy a car and would send you straight to Victor and Jake for a great experience!

Internet to start sale process

I was very impressed when I was first searching for a car and I went on to the web site for Hall VW. First of all, their web site was extremely easy to navigate, especially for someone such as myself who is not exactly an internet guru. I asked for a little information and got a response right away from Elaine who works on their internet sales. She connected me with a sales person, Lynn. Bottom line, I stopped in on Saturday and looked at and test drove a few different cars and am happy with my purchase. I got a used VW with low mileage and look forward to having my latest VW for a very long time, same as my previous VW!

Great experience

We bought our Tiguan in March. We worked with Scott Holpfer. Scott was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, he gave us tons of information about the car and he was just a really nice guy to work with to buy a vehicle. The facility was nice and clean. And the process to purchase and receive our vehicle was pretty fast...the guys got us out and on our way. The Tiguan is a wonderful car and we are very happy with our purchase. Simplified & Personalized

I decided to buy a new car after considerable research & driving, and had it narrowed down to 2-3 vehicle preferences. My 1st foray into the world of inter web pricing was a little spooky, to say the least. After all, I didn't grow up with computers, and I don't purchase big ticket items like this very often. With just a click on a tab, everything happened so fast, of course, and I had a number of contacts. Choices, choices... Now what? OK. Here's the deal. Are you listening, people? I chose Hall Motors for some very specific reasons, and one of them was not because I had family living in their vicinity - although that was a side benefit. Talk about first impressions? Two words - Elaine Rupp! In my opinion, she is definitely an unheralded gem at Hall, diligently working behind the scenes in cyber space, as it were. You know the phrase, Keep it Simple...? Well, Elaine did just that for the company. Ease of web-based access was so direct with her, as opposed to some other dealers where I would sometimes get multiple contacts from different people at the SAME business, all representing as so-called Internet Specialists. Elaine was the real deal, and more, being personable, ever-pleasant, respectful, diligent,and accommodating. She accomplished her role with expertise and aplomb. Then came the day I had arranged with her to visit in person, and the inevitable hand off to a floor sales person. I have to say I was fairly disappointed about that. Sorry, Victor, but it seemed we had developed a bit of a relationship of sorts by then. This is not to take anything away from his professionalism, and he possessed all of the aforementioned positive attributes. Our dealings were straightforward and fairly transparent. Well, there were a couple speed bumps along the way before I pulled the trigger and purchased a fab Mazda 6, but they were quickly rectified by him. And get this, he picked me up from my home the day of the sale! This was a considerable distance for him, but sure helped me out tremendously. What was it I said about simplifying? The rest of my experience at Hall Imports? Every one I came in contact with was quite friendly (Gabriel! Maybe VW next time. :-D). Jerry also earns kudos for his efficient finance work with me. What else can I say? Go there. You'll see. Pretty certain you won't be disappointed.

Bought my first car, very happy!

I came to Hall Volkswagen looking to buy a new Passat. I was greeted by Scott H. and he was able to get me behind the wheel and test driving immediately. I didn't feel like I was being pressured and felt very comfortable. Overall, I was very pleased with the service I received and would recommend this place to anyone.

I just helped my daughter get her first certified used Mazda. Percy Chambers was our sales associate. He was helpful, respectful, and patient throughout the entire process - a very direct, honest, and clearly experienced sales associate to work with at all steps along the way from test drive through delivery. I noticed some sales awards near his desk and it is clear that he has earned them by the way he does his job! Of course, as part of the deal-making process, the used car sales manager and then the finance manager both came and discussed price and financing, so it was not only Mr. Chambers who talked with us. In the end, though, my daughter held firm on what she was willing to pay and I was very proud to see she stayed with her pre-approved credit union financing. I'm happy to report that Mr Chambers and the used car sales manager looked over her trade and ultimately offered a very fair price for it, which cinched the deal. In the end I saw my daughter get an excellent no-nonsense deal at Hall and witnessed how she received stellar service from Mr. Chambers. Since my daughter is pleased with her first car buying experience, I am too. I'm happy she now has a safe, reliable, Certified Mazda 3 as I watch her drive off to her first job after college!

My wife and I recently had an excellent experience purchasing a new Mazda3 from Hall after visiting several dealerships. Our sales associate, Kevin, greeted us right after we arrived and provided his insight as we discussed what we were looking for. He accompanied us on a test drive, explained the key features of the vehicle, and arranged for the exact car we were interested in to be transferred over from another Hall location. We came back the next day to test drive the car and Kevin helped us get the right price. Andy, the business manager, was also great to work with as we ironed out the details of our purchase. Soooooo, i got my first car!! Josh barkstrom was my sales man and thank god for him. He was patient and a great sence if humor. He made sure my step dad and i were comfortable and answered any question we had. 2 months now ive had my mazda 3 isport, and anytime i have a question hes right there for me, helping me out, and by this being my first car trust me when i say that i have plenty questions lol... i highly recommend that you check this place out. Great Buying Experience

I had originally stopped in at Hall Imports to test drive a GTI. I called ahead and spoke to Josh Barkstrom who was immediately helpful and got the GTI washed and ready for me to test drive. I was running late to the appointment, and he had the courtesy to call and see if I was still interested. Traffic was bad and I was seriously debating waiting for another day to go in, but he was genuinely interested in our pursuit of the perfect car, so we made the trip! The GTI turned out to be not the perfect fit for me, but after a family member suggested the GLI instead, Josh found one on the lot for me to take out, and we had a great time driving the little red car around town! He has unparalleled extensive knowledge of not only the cars he sells, but also competing vehicles of the same class. His passion for cars is evident and that's not common amongst most car dealers, especially when I had been out in cars with other salesmen who knew less about the cars than I did. Long story short, I returned the next day to buy the car. While I filled out the paperwork, Josh was in back helping to detail the car himself. All in all, it was a great experience and I highly recommend Hall Imports as a dealer.

Great sales staff and wonderful facility

I worked with Josh, he was wonderful and helpful. I made him sit in the drivers seat so I could see how a tall person fit. Also, While I haven't had to use the repair center for any repairs, I did stop back to help explain some features of the car and they were wonderful.

I recently leased a Mazda 3 from Hall Mazda and it was the BEST car buying experience I have ever had. Percy Chambers is a down to earth genuine man who made the experience so easy. He found exactly what I wanted and delivered it when he said he would. Percy is kind, considerate, knows the vehicles he sells and wants you to be happy. Josh Barkstrom at Hall was a pleasure to work with. We literally kept him ALL DAY while we test drove different used Jettas and Passats. He was really respectful of my budget and was very accommodating to my mom, my husband and me, we all asked a lot of questions... We made the trip over from Madison and it was totally worth it. Josh even went to a different lot to pick up a Jetta for us to test drive and got a Passat moved from inside on the middle of the showroom floor so we could take it for a spin (ended up loving it and taking it home!) The finance guy was also super easy to work with and was very honest about the available add-ons and their value. I think I got a great deal and so far I have been very happy with my 2014 passat S. I've already put 10,000 miles on it and haven't had any issues. If you are in the market for a new or gently used VW, I would highly recommend Hall Volkswagen and particularly Josh Barkstrom.

Great Staff, Excellent Experience

My wife and I have had some bad experiences with some dealers but we had a GREAT experience at Hall VW. When we showed up, Scott immediately was there to help us out, and not in one of those typical auto dealer predatory attitudes. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and asked a lot of questions to try to find the right vehicle with the right options. There was absolutely no pressure, and what really made me happy was he did not just talk to me and ignore my wife. He treated my wife as an equal partner in the process and SOOOOOOOOO many dealers treat women like second class citizens. There were no tricks, no typical dealer tactics, and Jake was precise, honest, up front, and most importantly FAST! The team at Hall did what they said they were going to do, and they delivered. I would most definitely recommend!

Purchased a Certified Used mk6 gti from this dealership. Within 1 week of ownership I had transmission grinding issues. Ended up taking the car to a different dealership to have the transmission and clutch replaced. Hall refused to pay for any of the parts that failed on the car that I had for all of 600 miles.They only seem to care about the sale and not what happens after AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCTS THAT THEY SELL.

Yet, after speaking to the salesperson (Ted Porter), I decided that the quality of Volkswagen as a product and the low price made sense in the long run. It was a good deal. What impressed me about Ted and was not only his knowledge, but also his supportive and friendly attitude. The same was true of Jacob, who took time to explain the options for financing. There was no rush. They gave us time to think and ask questions. We decided that the excellent resale value, gas mileage, and quality, made the car we decided upon a wise choice. We made the investment, and I am really glad we did. I am thinking about another vehicle in the future.

My 8th VW. Hall treats you right

Recently leased a new VW CC from Hall (my 5th VW leased from them). Great experience as always. They've always made the extra effort to get me the exact car that I want which can be a challenge as I enjoy driving stick. Thank you Lynn! Love the new CC. Will be back in January when our Tiguan lease is up. Annual maintenance is a breeze with excellent service staff, quick turnaround, and a shuttle to & from the office.

Great car buying experience!

About 2 months ago, I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned VW CC from Hall and I couldnt be happier. The CC has really become my all time favorite car and is an absolute pleasure to drive. I had found myself in a tough spot when my previous car suddenly quit on me, and the sales professionals at Hall came to the rescue and got me into my dream car in amazingly short order. Although I took my time and test drove at least 3 different models before settling on the CC, the entire process took only a couple of hours. They got me a great finance rate that my own bank couldn't beat! Jerry, Gabriel, and Andy were extremely professional and mindful of my time, and before I knew it, Gabriel was explaining the cars features and even paired my iPhone and showed me how to use the hands free calling features. I am really happy that I found this dealership and would recommend them without reservation.
