Great Staff

Hall Ford's staff is incredible. I actually bought my used vehicle sight unseen because Hall Ford's price was the best in the nation. My salesman Mike White went above the call of duty in every way that he can to make my unusual car buying experience a positive one. Mike had a very positive attitude and met all of my requests. He even met the driver of the carrier truck that was picking up my vehicle on a day that the dealership was closed. The vehicle I received was in as great condition as Mike described it. My finance manager Toney Smith made the final step of purchasing the vehicle a breeze. We had an issue with my loan from my credit union and Toney worked very hard to resolve the issue. My sales manager Stewart Straus was also very accommodating. I was very nervous about buying a vehicle sight unseen, but the staff at Hall Ford put my worries at ease with their incredible service.

Straightforward

Everybody was very polite, straightforward and answered all of my questions. They did not pressurized me and at no point I felt like I had to buy a new car right away. They had good suggestions and I felt like I got offered the best options for my needs.

We [wife and I] believe we "got lucky" when meeting Dallas as the first rep to greet us. Although the "process" seemed interminable, at no time did we feel uncomfortable or "pressured" during the negotions. We came away with what we believe to be the best answer to meet our current wants. Was it our "dream car", no, but it was the car that we needed. My only concern was the high mileage, but the overall condition and appearance was more than satisfactory. Several of the other associates provided able assistance during the process and all was explained to our satisfaction. We appreciate the professional and courteous manner in which we were treated. The Hyundai Elantra we purchased has a majority of features we desired and runs and drives well as of this report. I would definitely do other business with them should the need arise.

My Experience with Hall Automotive

Upon shopping around at other dealerships, I was lied to, went through a bait and switch ordeal, and had price offered by salesman increased by the sales manager. I made the decision not to stick with the dealership after 10 years of loyal service.I researched and wanted the Honda Accord, but due to my finances was unable to achieve it. My salesman Thomas Johnson (TJ) was determined to find me the right vehicle that I could afford with the options I needed. TJ offered me the Hyundai Sonata very close to my price range. Typical Used Car Sales

I found them to be the stereo typical used car salesmen, tell you anything to get your signature on the bottom line then rescend it all after the deal is sealed. The entire experiance has been quiet stressful, I traded in an automobile with no payments that sometimes left me stranded for an automobile with payments that leaves me stranded and the service department always respondes the same, get it in to us and we will check it out, ok, I have to find someone to get it to start so I can bring it in then they will not address the issue because it is running. The salesmen told me that the car was still covered under the 100K mile bumper to bumper warranty since it had less than 50K miles, service department advised me, "No this does not transfer to second owners". My feeling is at this point that if they can not make the car reasonably dependable, I will set it back in their parking lot where I got it . Will never reccomend this dealership and will advise against anyone visiting this dealership.

Awesome experience

I had bought a car (at another dealership) because I'm moving to Arizona and wanted something safe and reliable to drive across the country and live in a place where I don't know anyone. I had issues with it within the first week and was able to return it but was stranded carless because I had traded my old car in. My mom referred me to someone at Hall Elizabeth City who promptly got on the job of looking for the perfect car for me. The service was amazing. They turned a bad situation into a great experience: I got a better car for a better deal!!!

Just purchased my first car on Saturday from Hall Ford / Hyundai of Elizabeth City! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. My salesman was Tyler, who was so patient and helpful. He was not the typical car salesman, he was so friendly, honest and REAL! They have a great team of people working at this dealership and that is really what sold me the car. They were easy to talk to and did not pressure me into making any decisions. This is my second Hyundai and my first experience with Hall Hyundai in Elizabeth City. These are the most courteous and attentive dealership I have ever dealt with. My salesman,John Signorelli made the experience a very good one. John listened to what I wanted, found it, and then made the paperwork and financing go by quickly. Everyone, from the finance department right on down were pleasant. All in all this was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. Best dealership I have been to. I have bought 2 cars from a different dealership but this one has been the best! The salesman was friendly and very knowledgeable. He let us test drive all the cars we wanted without making us feel like it was a hassle. He definitely made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole experience. Everyone involved in the process was extremely nice and the manager was willing to work with us so that we could get the car we wanted. At no point throughout the process did I feel pressured into buying. It was also a shorter process than I have experienced in the past. I drove two and a half hours to get to Hall Hyundai to look at an 2012 Sonata. I have a dealership that is close to me, but they dropped the ball and never called me back on a car i was interested in. As soon as i got to Hall Hyundai i met Jack hardy. Very nice salesman that knew the car well from bumper to bumper. The other dealership never went over much of anything and was trying to push me into a used 2011 Sonata. Jack did not presure me into anything and was very helpful in the decision making of buying a new car. Jack and the dealership kept in contact with me over the next few days while paper work and details were finalized and i could make the trip back to Elizabeth City, NC. to pick up the car. The sales manager Mike as well as finance manager Toney Smith were super cool and put you at ease with the whole purchasing process. I found this car on the internet, received a competitive out-the-door quote from sales manager, gave a counteroffer, agreed on final price, gave a deposit, and picked up the car a week later. Stephen Schaeffer and his sales manager returned every phone call and email. They were willing to help with transportation also. Never have I had such a great experience buying a vehicle. The Manager and Staff were more helpful than I can explain in such a small entry. First off, I knew the vehicle and all the accessories I wanted and no where could I find this vehicle. The manager (Mr. Vendt) and salesperson (Shannon) went out of their way to find a vehicle that had all but one that I had requested. The last accessory (auto start) was ordered and installed prior to my arrival. Shannon was very helpful and definitely did her homework because she was able to explain every button, switch, and Navigation/Bluetooth feature. (This had never happened before in my experience in buying vehicles) Then it was time to meet with the finance manager (Mr. Spiva). He had us watch a video that explained all the programs that HYUNDAI offered and when it was done he explained what each feature would cost if we wanted to purchase. I was very comfortable in the fact that he did not put any pressure on us to purchase the extra warranty packages. I had always avoided these because of the pressure that other places had put on me. I just want the car and to leave. My new 2011 Santa Fe was cleaned and ready for my departure when all was done. All of this took less than three hours and most of that was explaining the features of my new vehicle. I love this vehicle! I would highly recommend Hall Elizabeth City to anyone.

I enjoyed my experience at this dealership. I have never purchased a vehicle in North Carolina, and my goal this time was to purchase in Carolina. I was very fortunate to pick a dealership that was friendly, who knew how important customer service is to the overall experience, and who are hard workers. Every single person I came in contact with were helpful during every part of the process. I have wanted a Hyundai Accent for years and I did not think I would be able to get a new one. I drove away with a 2011 Accent with 22 miles on March 4, 2011. I have had a smile on my face since that day. I am extremely happy with my purchase and every time I look at that car I smile. It is cute, economical (great on gas :), did I mention cute? Everyone thinks it is a cute little car and they are very surprised at the space inside the car. I currently owned 2 Hyundais and am partial to them. Quality is key. I went to this dealership because I wanted another Hyundai Santa Fe or Kia Sorento. Upon arrival I met Glenn Wiggins. I told him the 2 vehicles I was interested in on the lot and let him know that I was also looking at Kia's. I also told him he had 1 hour to convince me to purchase one of his vehicles. Glenn was very helpful and busted his tail to make sure I was satisfied. At 45 minutes Glenn, Todd and I came to terms. I am very pleased with these 2 gentlemen. Tim, in finance, was also a pleasure to work with. All of the other staff members were very friendly and very helpful including Stephen Schaeffer. Hall Hyundai E-city was the best, I will recommend them to those I know. We purchased a new 2011 Hyundai Sonata yesterday at Hall Ford/Hyundai in Elizabeth City and we were very pleased with the experience we had. We met the GM, Nick (by chance when our daughters started playing outside at a local ice cream shop) a few months back and from the onset felt very comfortable talking with him. With that, we knew we would decide to purchase a new car from his dealership. When we decided to start looking, we called him right away and we had a positive car buying experience. Shannon was wonderful to work with and made the sales process very easy. She was very professional and knowledgeable about the car and industry.
