We went car shopping here about 3 years ago we told the salesman exactly what we were looking for. Of course he showed us everything else but what we wanted. We were expecting that from a salesman. But when he brought us in to meet his "manager" the manager couldn't even take the time to stop watching the basket ball game to look at us. I said I would never go back. However, I figured since it had been a few years maybe they change so today I brought my car in for an oil change. They called about an hour after I brought my car to recommend some other maintence, sure as brakes, wipers, filters. I agreed to the brakes. Then I called them like 2 hours later to see if my car was ready yet and they said no that they couldn't get the caliper to retract so I would now have to pay for a new caliper. Why do I have to buy a new one when they broke it while they were changing the brakes??? It wasn't broken before they started. Anyhow when I went to pick up my car I found out that the works oil change there is $49... When I questioned why it was not $39.95 like all the other dealers around and the commercials from ford they told me it was different oil. When I said the specific names of the 2 other dealerships and said no it is not special oil, that "the works" includes synthetic oil then they told me that they would look into it as other have questioned the price too and maybe I could come back for a refund. I will not, nothing has changed, I will never go back there now. They are shady and deceitful.

I bought an extended warranty through Gus Machado Ford with their lead financial advisor Frank Infante who took $500 cash and increased my monthly payments of the car. A year later my 2 year old car started having problems and when I went to Ford they said I HAD NO WARRANTY. Apparently Frank never recorded the warranty AND TOOK MY MONEY FOR HIMSELF. For the last year I HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR ALL REPAIRS since I lost the FAKE RECEIPT that Frank gave me. When I finally found it I took it to GUS MACHADO FORD only to be treated with attitude by the Financial Manager Cari who refused to be helpful. For the last week I have been without a car. I never write reviews but I can't believe this SCAM. NEVER GO HERE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEN MAKE IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IT BACK.

I was charged $107.00 for a diagnostic write up on my car which they gave me a total of about $1000 which they told me that will cost to repair the front seat which was locked and needed a new motor as well as my brakes needed a booster which was a total of $1500.00 in repairs i took it to another mechanic DJS diesel Performance fixed the electric seat for zero cost for the fuse was loose and the brakes that according to ford needed a Booster and Brake pump all it was is a hose that was broken that cost me $13.00. I wanted Ford to reimburse me for what they charged me which was a BS write up invoice to say the least. my contact information if you want to make this right is305-930-4209Carlos I have called 10 times ask for the service manager and have not received a phone call

so, you know how some people write, I wish there was zero stars ? This is the first time in my life I am THAT DISSAPOINTED. Please, if you or you have a friend considering buying a vehicle at Gus machado ford tell them they are horrible scam artists, go somewhere else. I called sawgrass ford for a compairason every vehicle I asked about on their lot was already certified pre owned and I spoke to a much higher class of employees in their used car sales department who didn't play games with me. Gus machado waits till you buy the vehicle and then tacks the CPO on as an option, then tacks on hidden dealer fees. Their sales man who sold me my vehicle led me to believe I was purchasing an already Certified vehicle from the start, he handed me documentation (which happened to be conducted at midway ford, at the time no one noticed the dealer name until I took it in as proof of CPO) then to lead me to believe I was buying a certified vehicle from a sticker on the windshield & he even explained the coverages while he handed me a pamphlet detailing a CPO vehicle. I came to machado expecting to purchase a ford certified vehicle. I was buying a ford at ford!!! after sitting in one at a Chevy dealer I thought "I should buy it directly at ford" so id be covered with a guarantee!I'm exhausted, one year later the car is failing from a sound that came with the car I thought was normal. the tires are bad ; one even came with a plug, the navigation sytem wasn't working, the door key pad didn't work, the back hatch was broken, the back seat was broken & one of the keys to the car they gave me didn't work even after I bought a new battery for it! Yeah.... I spent 30k on this used explorer... Wouldn't you expect to get a quality vehicle? After 4 weeks in a rental car, 6 trips with two sweet toddlers waiting strapped to a car seat for 5 hours each time, countless hours on the phone with ford & the dealership, text messages even Emails and lots of tears from all the anxiety... all for them to not treat me no better than a dollar sign, I'm DONE. I have asked them all 6 times to give me back my car and they have given me an excuse and sent me away. The service Dept. fixed my vehicle believing the used car sales had certified it and found out that the sales man screwed up from day one. now I am picking my car up and have to pay for services I never authorized just because I can't do it in anymore??? . I have wasted this entire month over this. To me Thats time with my children and my ignoring my health (diabetes) I am worth more than that. I can't bare to fight for it any more. The have beat me down ENOUGH. Gus machado you win I'm out but, NEVER again will u have my business. Update: 15 minutes after getting my car back from service I heard the same knocking sound as When I originally brought their service Dept the car !!! they were to fix a knocking sound and fix a recall on the door handles (March 8th, 2016) but, on March 17th I went to pick my car up and the door handles weren't touched!! however they were written up as completed by their tech. Had I not noticed the door handle was still broken they would have sent me home with a recall not fixed & ford would have paid them. Now they have replaced my Ac and a belt and my car still knocks... Like it did the day I came in. So obviously they either had no idea what was wrong with my car and had me pay for stuff they thought it could be Or they maliciously screwed up my car because they were tired of me. I'd like to believe that they just have no idea what they are doing but at this point ?!?!??!!!

Excellent, and fast service. Technicians are very knowledgeable in their job and can pinpoint anything wrong with your vehicle. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking to service their Ford vehicle.On a more personal note, after you get your car serviced, you're offered a free car wash. I must say that the car wash service is horrible. This doesn't at all affect your car maintenance experience, but it'd be nice if the same quality of mechanical service was the same as the car was service; simply amazing.

I would NOT recommend having your Ford serviced by this dealer If you do, you can count on the interior of your vehicle being returned to you FULL of grease. It happens VERY time. This last service was by far the worse. I have taking up this issue with Service Manager and nothing improves. DO NOT HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED AT THIS DEALLER, unless you enjoy removing gunk and grease from all over your interior!

I was told I needed a new fuel pump and it was under warranty when repairs were started they decided it wasn't under warranty and it would be $700. It ended up that it wasn't the fuel pump at all. They did give me my $700 back but they didn't repair my truck. This is not the first time I've had problems with repairs at this dealership. .

After receiving a recall for my Ford Expedition I brought my truck in to be serviced and when I arrived I was greeted with a friendly face who asked for my reason for coming in and when I explained it was for a recall he directed me inside to the service area to be helped. We were concerned about having to wait a long time because we needed to pick up my grandson from school by 3:00 and he said if we are given a long wait to come back out and let him know. Therefore, we proceeded inside as he directed us and as we suspected we were given a long wait time. We then, went back out to the man who initially greeted us and he said he would be happy to help us. He then, brought us over to the Quick Lane and took care of us immediately and kept us posted with the progress of our vehicle. He was so pleasant and accommodating to us; we felt like VIP customers. He offered us, coffee, water and something to eat complimentary. We wanted to go have lunch and he told us where we could get a good meal nearby. We decided to go and the food was delicious. It started to rain and before we knew it Tommy arrived in a car to pick us up, because he didn't want us walking in the rain. He also, was able to help us with an order we previously made for the vehicle. The service was superb and the person who took wonderful care of us happened to be one of the managers in the Quick Lane department. It was a pleasure to be serviced at the Ford dealer Gus Machado Ford of Kendall.

My 2012 Ford Focus that I bought brand new and paid full in cash has been nothing but problems since the day I bought it. I have to take it into the dealer for service every few months which is ridiculous for a new car. Well most recently, on 9/4/15 my car broke down in the middle of a busy intersection. My son in law tried jumpstarting it but it would turn the engine over but wouldn't start up. The next day I had ford tow the car to the dealer for service. First of all nothing got done all weekend long, but they basically called on Saturday saying that they couldn't find anything wrong with the car and that it starts just fine. When I explained that it had been starting for the past week but then left me stranded in the intersection, they kept the car to try to recreate the problem. After a week, they finally did recreate and decided that it was a faulty fuel pump. They said it would be ready by Saturday 9/12/15. On Saturday I called and they said it wasn't ready yet. That they had to order the part and are waiting for it to come in. On Thursday 9/17 I called left messages, and finally got someone who said that the fuel pump won't come in until October!!!! What the heck!?!? Then they claimed that since I was so patient, they are going to use the fuel pump off another customer's vehicle since that customer doesn't need their car till November. This makes no sense whatsoever but at this point I just want the car fixed so I say ok. They say the car will be ready by Noon on Friday 9/18. I called and no answer. When they finally call back, they said they didn't recall telling me it would be ready by noon and that they just "got permission" to use the other customer's fuel pump and that it would take 4 hours to install. So now they are saying it should be ready by 5pm. We will see but I have lost all faith in this dealer. They continue to act shady, give me the run around and lie. They have had my vehicle for 2 weeks and its unacceptable. I will never go back there for a vehicle and urge all to stay away from there!

Service dept is the worst first you have to wait 15-20 to be acknowledge by someone, service advisers are always doing their own thing and don't even take to time to speak to customers. I took my care in for a recall which the technician did not complete he only checked the car and said the problem was not present at the moment even-though Ford said in their letter that a faulty sensor needed to be replaced. Due to this service the AC in the car stopped working I called them back and they refused to acknowledge that something they did caused the AC problem, there was nothing they could do I would have to bring the car in and have it serviced... in other words pay for the damage they did to the AC. Won't be going there again.

I took my car in for service ( recall #15C03B) and it was done in a timely manner, however because of an oversite it took two days to complete the recall. A Better Q.C. Would have done the job in one. Also while I was waiting the chairs in the waiting room are very uncomfortable and not easy to sit in. Otherwise the waiting room is very pleasant to wait in.

I have a Ford Focus 2012. for the last 2 years I've been going to service every 6 weeks to have either the module, the clutch or the computer reset. There's a recall on the transmission so the warranty was extended to 100K miles, but every time i leave they tell me the problem is fixed yet I have top keep coming back, I ask Ford's customer relationship associates what will happen when i get to the 100K and this is no longer cover , but out of pocket and all i get is "Ford can not give hypothetical answers" but that as of today if that was the case there's nothing Ford will do for me." So the only solution presented to me, is buy a new Fusion with all the incentives the car has because of the recall and of course $3.500 to cover the amount i am upside down, which i don't have, and if i did, it will not be for a Ford. very frustrating to be stuck making payments for a car that needs to be service for a manufacturing defect. when in reality those $3500 that I am upside down do not make a dent in Ford's pocket. I work with 210 people that have a very negative impression of Ford's products after seeing the Odyssey that this car has put me through very disappointed and frustrated. Should have listen to everyone that told me not to buy a Ford

I financed a car. They gave me monthly payment interest rate and all that with one bank on the contract, then the finance manager told me I was approved by another bank with a lower interest rate meaning a lower monthly payment. When my payment book never cane in, I went to the dealership and they told him to just make payments there. So it's been 2 months of me going to the dealership and making payments on the lower rate. Now the salesman come to our HOUSE to tell us that the finance manager was fired for fraudulent practices and that my "monthly payments" have been withheld at the dealership towards a larger down payment bc I was never actually approved in the first place. Then wanted me to sign a new contract with today's date and the original miles. I said no, so they want the truck.

Spoke to Internet sales "Andrew" and agreed to $500 off advertised price. Sent over prequalified info and filled out their credit application to help expedite the process do to living 100 miles away. All ready to drive to Miami, and contacted them to make sure everything's a go. Then they decided that it was a misprint and I would need to pay an extra $3800?????? Problem being they already ran credit and wanted to run it again with inflated price. What the #+%!!!! Exactly why you don't deal with these people!!!! What a joke. They give dealers a bad name!!! Needless to say I'll be dealing with a local dealer.

On Monday, June 1 2015 I dropped my vehicle off at Gus Machado Ford of Kendall for service. The AC had stopped blowing cold air, a fan was making a high pitch noice, there was a clunking sound when you turned the stearing wheel and the transmission would shudder in low gears with light acceleration. I was informed by my service manager that the vehicle was ready to pick up on Friday, June 5th at around 4 PM. I picked up the vehicle the following day at 8 am before heading to a weekend class at 8:30. When the vehicle was brought to the front the engine light was on and the driver and I both noticed the engine was making an odd sound. I was concerned that the engine light was on since it was not on when I dropped it off. Tom De Dios, the service manager walked over right away after being informed by the driver that the car was not right. He called over a technician to take the car back and fix the issue. The Technician cleared the code and drove the car around the block and said its was okay and nothing was wrong with it. When I asked them what the code was for the engine light they quickly changed the conversation and stated that it was okay. At this point I was already late for class so I took the car. On my way home the check engine light returned, I also noticed that there was a message on the display saying that I needed to replace the left and right turn signal bulbs. I checked and both rear signals were not working. Later that day I wanted to put something in the trunk and noticed that the button on my keychain did not open the trunk. I also was not able to open it with the button on the trunk itself. I tried to unlock the doors and the lock/unlock button was not working. We walked through the lot and I picked a 2015 Ford Explorer. There was an excellent selection (50) from which to chose my vehicle. Al and I returned to his office and we finalized my purchase. I also met with the Finance Manager Felix. He was able to secure multiple financing options at very good terms. I selected the best of the choices for my budget. Felix was able to complete my purchase and also to transfer my existing title quickly. After the purchase was complete, Al Alvarez worked with me for about an hour going over the wonderful features of my new Explorer. The induction process was quick, I had access to WiFi, there was a large flat screen TV, a coffee machine and windows to the outside. The only negatives are that the waiting area is a bit cramped and the service manager sits in the same area making it hard for customers to talk on the phone in competition with loud service calls.

Extensive online searches pointed us to Gus Machado Ford of Kendall since they had the largest selection and the vehicles that most closely matched our desires. I called the Sales Department and spoke Roy Ramsay who took the time to search the lot to see if the vehicles we were interested were still available. This was of significant concern for us since we live in Key West and had to travel three hours to the dealership. Roy confirmed the vehicles were still available so we made an appointment for the following day, and the rest is history! We are very satisfied with our new Escape! Our only minor complaint with the buying process was how long it took once we made our decision which is somewhat understandable since it was Thanksgiving weekend. Otherwise the customer service was exceptional! Ask for Roy if you're in the market for a new car!

I have had my Mustang serviced at Gus Machado Ford since I bought it in 2011. All of the time the customer service has been outstanding by Mr. Tom De Dios, and most of the time my needs are met. There have been a few times where they could not figure out a problem and I had to take it back a couple of times. Also, their replacement windshield wipers are not very good and a tire repair they did was questionable. Overall, I would say close to a 3.75-4.0 average.

My wife and I were looking for a used car. We found a great Nissan Cube at a fantastic price. I emailed the dealership and was called within 15 minutes. We went that night to look at the car and take it for a test drive. We came back, wanted the car and was out with it in no time. The whole process could not have taken more than 2 hours max. They even extended the warranty for 2 years and gave us 3 years of free oil changes and tire rotations. Being that the dealer is in Kendall and we live in Miami Lakes they even topped off the gas tank for us. Overall great people who take care of customers.

11.04.2014 8:15am Brought my 2006 Explorer with about 74000 miles to the service department for an oil change. Mr. Tom De Dios, my competent and courteous service representative, noticed the radiator reservoir was empty. I stated that I have not noticed leaks on my driveway or the smell of burnt coolant. He suggested doing a 60,000 mile service which includes oil change, transmission flush, etc. for about $675.00. I signed for the work order. Received a call from Tom at about 1:00pm. He said the radiator was leaking and has to be replaced. The rear sway bar links were bad and needed replacement. Total cost will be about $ 2,000. I ordered the go ahead of the job. 11.05.2014 5:15pm Picked up my Explorer and drove home. On my driveway, I opened the hood to look at the new radiator. I noticed the reservoir was half-full with liquid with a slight tint of green. I also detected coolant smell. I figured the smell was from spills during radiator replacement. 11.12.2014 2:15pm Brought my Explorer back to see Tom. I complained about the loud engine noise when I started going from rest at stop signs. It sounded like a big garbage truck taking off right beside me. Tom said that could be the fan clutch working extra hard to cool the engine. We both detected the smell of coolant. He offered me coffee and snack at the new canteen in the waiting room. Tom took the Explorer back to the shop. After about 15 minutes, Tom came in to take me into the bay where the Explorer and the mechanic(s) were and showed me the leak from the thermostat housing. I questioned the original diagnosis of the source of coolant leak and the replacement of the radiator. Tom was very understanding. He appealed on my behalf to his boss who agreed to absolve the labor cost of replacing the thermostat assembly and I pay for the part(s) of about $ 195.00. I told Tom to go ahead and also to check the front wheel bearings because of noise I noticed when banking to the right. I left. At about 5:30pm, Tom called to tell me the left front bearing was bad and needed replacement, cost about $550.00. I told Tom to go ahead. 11.13.14 2:00pm Picked up the Explorer and drove home. On my driveway, I checked the reservoir level. It was almost empty. I called Tom. Tom said come on back. I did. At the service department, Tom confirmed the extreme low level of coolant in the reservoir. He drove the Explorer with me to the back of the shop and have 'Frankie' to check it out. 'Frankie' did and filled the reservoir back up to the proper level with 50/50 mixture of coolant and water. He also cleaned the surfaces of various covers under the hood to remove dried residues of splattered coolant. On the way out of the shop, we encountered the shop chief named Will. Tom related the whole story to him and my expressed disappointment and my loss of confidence of the service department. Will told Tom to write it up and send it to him. Tom test drove the Explorer with me on neighboring streets for about 10 to 15 minutes. All seemed fine. I drove home. The vehicle runs quiet and smooth. Checked coolant level and it was still at the level filled. 11.14.2014 8:00am Checked coolant level before starting out. Perfect. Temperature gauge needle was at the bottom of the gauge. Perfect. Cross my fingers.

I purchased a 2013 BMW from Gus Machado Ford. The salesmen were friendly and responsive when the sale was not complete, however immediately after the paperwork was signed Gus Machado's true colors emerged. I try to contact their "financing" department, used car sales manager, the sales person, and even the general manager several times per week and they are utterly unresponsive. When I actually do get a response they give me the run-around and I have not received one call back. Final straw is that when I finally did receive an equity check they owed me it was short-changed. Gus Machado Ford of Kendall has by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I would suggest to stay away!
