Dan Dobie and all staff
I just purchased a 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500. It is my 17th or 18th vehicle purchase from Dan. The process went smoothly. Dan and Larry were very accommodating to me and that helped the process even more. I noticed two issues when I drove it: Leaking windshield washer reservoir, and a check airbag indicator light. These two problems were corrected and I was able to take delivery of my truck yesterday. Bob and the service staff are great to work with and they get all my vehicle maintenance business. Rapids GM is is great place to do business. Sincerely, Randy
Great people, great deal!
Our salesman (Nate Davies) and the sales manager (Jake Lorentz) were helpful and pleasant to do business with! I stop in at Grand Rapids GM many times to visit with Leigh Lonson and the rest of his staff. Nate Davies is a superb salesman, although I don't even think of him as a salesman. He is most helpful and possesses strong people skills! Last but not least, I challenge you to find a better deal than what Grand Rapids GM will offer you! It as always was a most enjoyable experience!
New meaning to the buying experience!
Buying vehicles at Grand Rapids GM is like no other buying experience I've had. Nate Davies, our sales consultant, was most helpful and concerned with our satisfaction. There was no pressure, and in fact, it was a fun experience! Leigh Lonson and his staff have always created a relaxed, customer comes first atmosphere. I challenge anyone to beat their prices as well!
Used 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche--Nate is the man!
Big thanks to Nate Davies for helping me find my new ride! Grand Rapids GM knows how to take great care of their customers!
Great Service and Clean Facilities
They went out of there way to come down on price and new tires! without me requesting! Grand Rapids GM took great care of me. Thanks Nate for my new 2012 Impala!
Buyer Beware!!!
My husband and I have purchased 3 vehicles from Grand Rapids GM in the past year and a half. Unfortunately all 3 times we had a not-top-of-the-line experience. The first vehicle we purchased was a used Audi. When test driving the Audi, we noticed there was a brake light illuminated. When we spoke to the salesman about the light, we were assured that the brakes had been checked by service and that they were fine and that it must be a warning light issue, not a brake issue. After purchasing the vehicle my husband discovered that it was actually the brakes and that they were so bad that not only the brakes needed replacing but also the roters. This is not cheap fix with an Audi, we were told "sorry, there's nothing we can do to help you with that" by GR GM. The second vehicle was 6 months later, we purchased a brand new 3/4 ton Chevy truck. There was a dent in the rear bumper from a plow in the lot that the salesman arranged to have replaced. When I brought the truck in to get the new bumper it was not replaced properly and caused further damage to the rear of the truck. I brought the truck in 3 times to have this fixed being told each time it was corrected. Once the service manager asked me to bring it in for the day which would require me to take time off of work, I just gave up on it. We should have learned by now but honestly, we liked the salesman and wanted to continue to bring him our business and felt none of this had been his fault. The last purchase was a Dodge Minivan 2010. We were told that service looked it over and it was good to go. We purchased it in May 2014 and by July 2014 with barely 1000 miles put on since we purchased it, the A/C had to be charged three times and the front brakes replaced. Now the check engine light is on and the AC does not work in the back of the van. We have 2 infants and a young child that we cannot take anywhere on hot days because the back of the van does not cool down. When we called the salesman who we've been working with to see what we could do to trade the van in and not end up losing a ton of money, we were told he would call back and he never did. While I understand that used vehicles are sold as-is, you have a certain expectation that when you go to a "reputable" dealership and you buy a vehicle for many thousands of dollars that you will not be buying a hoopty that will render itself useless within 3 months of purchase. Unfortunately, we will be taking our business elsewhere in the future and I recommend if you are reading this you do the same.
I wouldn't do business anywhere else!
I wouldn't do business anywhere else! The employees were helpful and genuine to my requests when looking for my vehicle. As a single woman buying my first car independently, I didn't feel taken advantage of or pressured to instantly make my decision. The vehicle choice and buying process, as well as routine services needed after my purchase have all been pleasant and extremely helpful. Grand Rapids GM comes highly recommended from this proud customer!
Low Prices and Great People - right up front
Nate Davies is one of the best sales consultants I know. He cares about the customer and gets you a great deal right away. I would send all my friends and family to Nate
Will not go back
I would not go back to there place of Business. Being a single woman they thought that they could give me half of what my car was listed on Kelly Blue Book for a trade in value. My car was super clean and very well taken care of. They did not even drive the car. They treat a single senior lady like dirt as far as I was concerned.
