Today I purchased a new vehicle from Glynn Smith Chevrolet. I have been conducting business with Glynn Smith and Mike Core for many years. I am not one to freely give out great reviews. In fact, I usually do not take the time to write reviews for anyone....good or bad. However, to not write a review in regard to the service I received today would be an injustice to the gentlemen I had the pleasure of working with. I have known Mike Core for many years and refer all my friends to Mike. MIke introduced me to Mitch Tolbert, who assisted me in selecting the perfect vehicle. What I like most about the service at Glynn Smith is that I never feel "pressured" to purchase anything. They are helpful, yet understand that I am capable of making my own decisions, thus serving as a resource rather than pushy sales reps. The atmosphere is friendly and they make all their customers feel as if nothing is more important than you are. I trust Mike implicitly, therefore when it is time to "make the deal" I don't have to waste my time haggling back and forth. I know that I will be offered the best price for a trade-in and the best price for my purchase straight out of the gate....there is no need to look any further. I purchased a 2017 GMC Terrain. I was referred by a friend and this was my best experience purchasing a vehicle! I drove from Georgia and it was well worth it! Mike Core was simply amazing! This dealership is fantastic. I had a "falling out" with another nearby dealership so I contacted Glynn Smith and was assigned to Mitch (Sales Rep). He was very quick to respond and get me in the vehicle I wanted. I was treated fairly and respectfully by all the staff. The financing officer, Mr. Michael Lee, was expedient in processing the paperwork and got me in the truck within about 30 minutes. Wow! I have purchased many vehicles from dealerships and this had to be the smoothest experience. I highly recommend allowing them opportunity to EARN your business, because they will. (One note: I actually bought a GMC but was only able to select Chevy in the menu).

Introduced my grandchild to how a car dealer should treat a person, she had had two bad very bad attempts to purchase a car. I had gotten cars from Glenn Smith in the past and my daughter had just purchased one from them.Walter was up front and did not give us the attitude of oh boy here is a stupid old woman, as the other dealers in Columbus,Ga.had. I had not intended to purchase that day but found a great deal and Walter worked a deal with a trade in that was just how we wanted it. Billy Edge was the most pleasant salesperson I have ever had! No bothersome contacts while I made up my mind on the new Equinox LS which I needed and could afford. He never pushed me to buy a car and was willing to help me find just the right ride! After helping me find a good color and trim level, Billy took me the finance department where I met Micheal Lee. There is no pushy-ness but they are willing to help when you are ready. I also have had a huge issue with one of my cars just once.....I took it there and within no time, they had the me in a another car and had my car without any questions while mine was being fixed. They have great customer support (enough to where I still drive an hour to shop there verses 15 minutes to my local one).

We really enjoyed our car buying experience, we got to take care home, we were able to negotiate a good price, they listened to our concerns, took the time to explain everything, and was quick and simple. Only one small mistake by forgetting to have us sign the check. I would recommend having bottled water, its the only thing I would change. I was quite hot and would have been much more simple that the water machine they had.

Once we decided on a purchase we then worked with Marc Jeter..Mr. Jeter is very nice guy, we had actually bought our 1st purchase from Mr. Jeter several years ago and now he is a Manager and he worked with us on our trade in and what we wanted our payments at. A Blessing

I was referred to this dealership by Byron Brown of Headquarter Nissan in Columbus GA. My past experiences looking for a vehicle have ended with either you need more money down ($2,000-$3,000) or a cosigner, so basically a big "NO". I drove to the dealership and met with Mr. Mike Core and Mr. J T Frazier, both gentlemen shook my hand and greeted me genuinely. Mr. J T Frazier talked with me not only about meeting my needs with purchasing a vehicle but also we conversed about other things outside of cars. Mr. J T Frazier constantly kept me updated on the process, which took a while but it was definitely worth the wait. Mr. J T Frazier advised me that he and Mr. Mike Core had got me approved and financed for a BRAND NEW 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. I walked into Mr. Mike Core's office and saw that he was eating lunch and never left his desk, working diligently to make my deal possible. After being told "NO" or you need this or that at other dealerships, these two gentlemen told me YES, not only that my deal was unbelievable, I honestly thought Mr. Mike Core was looking at someone else application and not mine. These gentlemen did not hassle me, leave me waiting alone, nor left me uninformed about the process. Mr. Marc Jeter made paperwork signing painless. Mr. J T Frazier advised me when he handed me the key to my NEW vehicle that he was unsure of where the second key was, he advised me he would find it and call me once he finds it. Well, Mr. J T Frazier called me the next morning advising me he has the key and would mail it to me promptly with no problem. I know this was a blessing from God that I met these gentlemen. They're not the stereotypical "Car Salesperson" you would encounter at a dealership looking to just sell you anything or hassle you. Mr. J T Frazier and Mr. Mike Core true inner person shows when you speak with them, which you can gather from the experience I've shared. An easy experience

We were actually going there to 'browse'....and had a certain kind of car in mind. First thing we notice is a gentleman coming to say hello. Harold is one of the nicest men you could meet. A true professional with good knowledge of the features and benefits of the cars. Bought a GMC 2500

My husband and I visited Glynn Smith Chevrolet just wanting to look a this GMC 2500 on the inside since we had rode through the parking lot many times at night only able to see the outside of the truck. My husband was wanting to buy a bigger truck to help with pulling our camper. Once there and inside the truck my husband fell in love. However we are expecting our first child so adding this larger payment was of course a major concern of mine but thanks to excellent help from Billy Edge and Marc Jeter we were able to agree on a price that we were comfortable with paying while also knowing all the expenses we have to coming up in the very near future. The truck is in excellent condition and is everything we wanted it to be. We will definitely consider this dealership again in the future when we go to purchase our next vehicle.

Easiest car buying experience I've ever had

After I located a vehicle, that was in transit, I contacted the dealership through email. Walter Moore and I spoke, on the phone, for a grand total of about 30 minutes over the course of a few days. When the Colorado arrived we came to an agreement over the phone and I secured the truck. I drove into town two days later and spent about 30 minutes at the dealership looking over the truck, driving it, and signing paperwork. It was the EASIEST car buying experience ever! Me and my father went to the Glynn Smith dealership mainly because of Wes and Johnny Jones who work there. We didn't go expecting a deal, but we knew that we could get a great vehicle at a great price because these two men only sell the best cars. Wes was extremely helpful with helping my dad and I find a car for my fiancee. We were able to sit down and negotiate a price that was perfect for me. The time we had to wait for our credit reports to be checked and paper work to be filled out was a little on the lengthy side, but that was out of Wes' control. 2015 Acadia

We were shopping for a new family vehicle and went to Glynn Smith to take a look a few options. Mike Bedsole had been recommended to us from a friend. Mike spent quite some time with us in the 95+ degree heat while we looked at SUVs. He never rushed us to make a decision and let us take our time in deciding. It was so refreshing to not be hassled and pushed into making a decision of any kind. Mike took time to get to know us and treated us as more than just a customer. Once we picked the automobile, the financing was much easier and smoother than expected there too. Marc Jeter made sure to stay within the range we provided as a payment. I purchased a 2015 Camaro 2SS and had a very specific package that my wife and I wanted. Walter worked very hard to try to match our request. He was very patient and respectful, even though I am sometime very demanding and picky when it comes to my vehicle. I purchase a chrysler 200 from glynn smith in opelika. There were problems with the vehicle which they agreed tofix. After numerous of times taken it in for repair to a body shop it was determined that the part needed replacement. I was instructed to go back to glynn smith. Mike Core told me I tore the part up and asked me to step out of his office. I never once got hostile with him but was explaining what I was told to do. Thank God for cell phone because I called the body shop while I was there and put the repair man on speaker phone and he denied telling them that I had tore the part up he stated that he informed them that it needed replacing. Well They did replace it BUT the part came with scratches. Thank God I inspected the bumper before I left. I went back in only to find out they knew the scratches were there. Now I have to make another trip back to get the scratches fixed.

When talking to Mike, he explained every detail to me; The price of the vehicle,what my trade in was worth, what discounts and rebates I was eligible for, interest rate (Which was great), and what my monthly payment would be. Visiting other dealerships, I always felt like a number. However, after working with Kevin and Mike at Glynn Smith, I felt like a person. The transaction was very smooth and at no time did I feel pressured or agitated. These gentlemen are a true asset to their profession and Glynn Smith Chevrolet. I shopped around for about 6 months and this was by far the best dealership I visited. Even with knowing I wasn't looking to buy immediately, there was no pressure from these guys. I had been looking for a new truck for about a month....

I had been looking for a new truck for about a month. Having researched online as well as visited both GMC and Chevrolet dealerships in Columbus, GA, I only got the usual runaround and empty promises of getting the best deal. At this point being very frustrated I went online to the Glynn Smith website. It was at this time while searching their inventory I found a truck with the features that I wanted. It was late at night, so I filled out a request for a quote. The next morning I received a call before 10:00am from Billy Edge. Billy was very friendly and had all of the information on hand that I had submitted the night before. After a brief discussion he went right to work on my deal. He called back within 2 hours with a very good offer on the new truck. Having done my research online on all of the incentives and rebates, having just sold my old truck and having some GM reward points, I was in a great position to make the purchase. I countered with a final offer to see if the deal could be sweetened just a little. Billy went right to work on my behalf and called back within 5 minutes to say they could not meet my price but they were able to meet me in the middle. Now remember, at this point I have not visited this dealership. I verbally accepted the deal and advised that I would be in Opelika the next day. The next day I called Billy to let him know I was on the way. Upon arriving at the dealership the truck was parked out front all washed and ready to go. While the managers and I filled out all the paperwork, Billy went and filled the truck up with gas. This was the easiest car purchase. The deal was done on the phone and delivery went smoothly. I would recommend Billy and the Opelika Glynn Smith team for your next vehicle buying experience. I wish I had started off with Glynn Smith saving myself a month of frustration at the other dealers.

DISSATISFIED

I TRADED MY VEHICLE IN FOR A YUKON AND HAVE NOT EVEN HAD IT 2 WEEKS AND I AM ALREADY HAVING PROBLEMS OUT OF THIS VEHICLE NOT ONLY DID THE WATER PUMP GO OUT BUT THE POWER STEERING PUMP IS ABOUT TO GO AS WELL I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING A GOOD VEHICLE BUT HOW WRONG I WAS THE SALES PERSON WHO I DEALT WITH WAS GREAT AS WAS TWO MORE MEN I DEALT WITH I AM JUST SO DISSATISFIED WITH THE VEHICLE IT WAS SOLD TO ME AS IS BUT I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT THEY MIGHT DO LIKE A LOT OTHER DEALERSHIPS DO A 30 DAY WARRANTY OR A 48 HOUR LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT BUT NO SUCH LUCK.............
