Positive Experience - Would recommend

The sales rep was responsive (he returned my calls and emails quickly). They worked with me on price. They found a better financing deal than what my bank could offer. When it was time to close the deal they had all the paperwork ready to go. From my standpoint it was a quick and almost effortless car buying experience. I would recommend them.

Horrible Service

I was shopping for a car and I had gone in to talk them down on the price on the car I had my eye on. I had spoke with the owner and he had told me he runs an honest business and he gave me the price I wanted and told me tax and title out the door and gave me a print out to take to the bank. I went back the next day to get a purchase agreement and they told me there was no way they could do that price and they made a mistake and if I purchased at full price I would get two free oil changes. Not to mention no one answers the phone. Worst experience ever.

Great Service at a great price!

I brought my vehicle in for service at German Concepts and was treated great. It was easy to drop my car off in the morning and the prices were way less than I was quoted at the local dealer. It was also nice to not be quoted a bunch of items that are not mfg. recommended like I was as the dealer. I will definitely bring my car back there from now on. They also informed me that they just recently opened Asian Concepts next door so I will be taking my Honda there as well. What a great find.

Audi Avant 2007. Great car-buying experience.

After looking and shopping for more than 14 months for that special car with a special feel and a fair deal, this faciltiy had it. I have purchased numerous VWs, Volvos, and other unique cars over the past 30 years. This group has it figured out. Great selection, no pressure, good pricing, and honesty and trust. Felt like part of the family

After wrecking my Mini Cooper I brought it to German Concepts but it ended up totaling. Sam in the collision shop was extremely friendly and helpful with my many questions. I decided that I wanted to go through them for my replacement vehicle. They helped me for 2 weeks until I decided on the perfect car for me. Roger and Mark were always helpful and really took good care of me. I will definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used car that they can rely on. Can't wait to purchase my next Mini from them :D

Great cars and good trade value

My wife abd I shopped for a van for our growing family. We stopped at a VW dealer who dramatically undercut the value of our domestic trade in. We assumed that German Concepts would do the same since they only sell German cars. Were we wrong. They not only gave us a great trade amount but also discounted the van to help accomodate our budget! This was a fantastic car buying experience!

What a great car shopping exerience

I am in the market for a German car and knew that German Concepts sells later model cars and just started the buying process. I stopped on Saturday and met Roger. While there were 3-5 other customers looking at cars and he was the only sales person working on the weekend, he made me feel like I was so important to him. He spent time answering my questions, demonstrating the features of the car I found interesting and still seemed to be doing this for the other customers on the lot. I will be finalizing my decision for a car later this summer. My only question is which quality car I will be buying from them.

German Concepts

I just bought a used car from Mark Frey which is the fourth in my lifetime and let me be the first to say I will not take my business anywhere else. German Concepts as a whole provided me witht the best and most personal care I have ever had in making a car purchase. I also took my previous car there to have all my repairs done and again will not take my business anywhere else. I trust Mark and everyone there to take care of all my auto needs and they also provide a number of excellent service contracts for those of us who are trying to avoid an expensive repairs down the road.

Our 2nd purchase from German Concepts...

Just bought our 2nd vehicle from German Concepts. Mark and John are great to deal with when purchasing a vehicle. I looked at 5 or 6 different cars and never once felt pressured into making an immediate decision. They are always willing to help and answer questions and remain patient with the customer throughout the buying process. Purchasing the car was as smooth as could be. Once I decided which car I wanted, I was in and out within an hour. No ridiculous dealer or doc fees either, which is great. I wouldn't say German Concepts is a great alternative to the dealer; it truly is a better option than the dealer. Paul and the service technicians are second to none. They are friendly and knowledgable about the cars. Never have I felt conned or swindle into a repair that wasn't necessary. With German Concepts, you get all this at half the cost of some dealerships.

They sound nice but they are scammers

Went to look at a car, was told it had two small 1/4 inch nicks in the paint and was otherwise nice. Was told it was a local Indiana car and they had done the maint work on it so they knew it. The actual story is the car was a Chicago car, had been beaten up in city life for 4 years, had been maintained by Fletcher Jones in Chicago, and they bought it off auction. The beaten up part was the worst part of it. It had a huge swirl mark on the rear bumper, the clear coat was peeling of in large chuncks behind each rear wheel, the front lower bumper had been rammed into a curb and was shredded and separated and the whole piece no longer rested in the correct position. And the hood had discolorations from sitting outside in the sun. It was and is an abomination. This is all through Roger at German Concepts.

Body shop work is awesome!

I orginally purchased my car from Mark Fry at German Concepts and have enjoyed it every second! He helped me get the exact car that i was looking for and at a lot cheaper than what I ever expected. I've had service done here and it is simple, fast, and easy to get quotes and get set up. I hit a deer several weeks ago and a lot of body work needed to be done. Insurance would cover it, but I wasn't quite sure how the process would be done. I brought my car in and got the initial estimate from Sam in the collision center and he took care of the rest. He had the insurance adjuster come to us and he made sure that I would get all new OEM parts to replace everything. There was a problem with the supplier of some of the parts, but German Concepts ended up sending someone to Chicago to get the broken part replaced so that my car would get done on time. Paint job is phenomenal and my car looks brand new! I can never say thank you enough to Sam for the work that he had done and how easy the entire process was. The guys at German Concepts go above and beyond to meet my needs every time!

Enjoying this MINI since purchase

I Bought a '03 MINI Cooper S here 10 months ago. The first thing that attracted me was the great price that was already on it and the low miles, but what made the entire process so simple was the salesman, Mark. No pushy salesmen, no complicated processing, just great used luxury cars at a great price. Even the people at the service counter really get you what you need, I've taken it back several times for service which has been awesome every time. They don't push you to get things that aren't needed, but they always make sure you taken care of very well. I will continue to go back whenever I need anything.

Found my car and brought it home the same day!

Easily the quickest and easiest car buying experience that I have ever had! I had been taking my BMW to these guys for service for 3 years for much better price than the dealer. So when it came time for a change I visited Mike to buy my next vehicle, and am I ever glad that I did! I did my research, decided on a Jetta Diesel and price was the first thing that led me to german concepts. Found my vehicle on the lot for thousands less than other dealerships, and even though Mike let me know they would find another 1 for me if I wanted something different, bought my 2010 TDI and brought it home the same day! And the icing on the cake was that they even gave me the price I needed for my trade! Very knowledgeable about Volkswagen and the best part is, I know I can bring my car there for service and not pay high dealer prices! Thanks Mike!

Outstanding Service

My family has bought 2 vehicles from Mark Fry now and he has been great to deal with. They are not high pressure at all and it makes buying a car much more enjoyable. The service dept. has been friendly and easy to work with as well. They have also provided me with free loaners when my car was in for service. I would highly recommend German Concepts.

Personal touch matters

I have been to German Concepts several times over the past 8-9 years. I bought a used Passat from them several years ago and have loved it and the service they gave me after the purchase. Mark Fry is who I have dealt with and he is outstanding. I like German cars, so I stop in occaisionally and he still remembers me! The personal touch at GC cannot be overstated. Mark and the guys at German Concepts are top-notch. These gentlemen treat their clients like true professionals and sincere. I've purchased 3 vehicles from them and never felt like I was being "sold" anything. The service department is clean and while they aren't the cheapest, you can expect quality work on german and brittish cars at much much less then dealer prices.

Service & Sales have been excellent. My whole family has their German cars serviced here. They also detail my car twice a year. They always go the extra mile to take care of me. Why buy new when they can find you a perfectly used car for a much better price and also provide high end service???

Pleasantly Surprised

What a great experience. We have purchased two cars from German Concepts now and the sales and service depts. have been great. There was no high pressure in the sales dept. and they were very willing to work with us. The service dept. has been very helpful and easy to work with as well. It's nice to find a place that treats you the way you want to be treated. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a car or a good place to get your car fixed.
