Tom recently sold me a new Tacoma and I feel inclined to share my experience. I was in the midst of a lemon law buy back and contacted Tom to test drive a Tacoma, which I ultimately purchased. He was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, and kept the process extremely stress free. I truly felt that he wanted to make sure I was happy, and that I was getting the vehicle that was right for me. He even arranged to have heated seats installed in the vehicle (not available directly from toyota on that model) prior to me picking it up. If I purchase another toyota vehicle it will definitely be from Tom.

I went in to get my oil changed at close to the end of my lease and was asked if I was going to buy or turn in my car. I said I wasn't sure. The service man asked me if I had time, that I may want to see if any special options were available since I was just about to go over on my allotted miles. To make a long story short: I drove home in a new car for the same monthly payment. I'm very pleased.

We worked with Tom Lombardo and after visiting 2 other Toyota and 1 Honda dealership in the area he was by far the best salesperson we worked with. He was extremely knowledgable about the car and went through all of the features in a systematic way. Even with this being our 3rd time seeing the car, he showed us many features no other salesperson had shown us. Also, he was able to clearly tell us the differences between the models without having to refer to the computer. I would highly recommend working with Tom when buying a vehicle (I would even say that it is worth driving a little bit further to work with him over some of the other Toyota dealers in the area)

I contacted Germain Toyota randomly looking for a highlander. I was fortunate enough to have Tom Lombardo answer my call. I honeslty have never dealt with a car salesman that was more vested in making sure that his customers got a deal they could afford and walked away feeling good about their experience Tom was so easy to work with and went more than the extra mile with every thing we needed. We had a very complicated situation with hail damage to our vehicle and a bad lease deal. Yet somehow the folks at Germain made it all work. We were so pleased with our expereince that we went back five days later and bought anothher car and because we live two hours away germain had it delivered for us. I can honeslty say this has been the best car buying experience that i have had and we will be stopping first to see Tom at Germain when the time comes again.

I was interested in a pre-owned car at this dealership, but was trying to ascertain the value of my trade or at least an approximate value before driving to Columbus. Sent an inquiry via Cars.com - my inquiry said please reply via email as I am at work and cannot talk. Next thing I know the phone rings, the employee never fully read my email. I let Juan know that I needed to get some pictures of my car and he gave me a basic outline to get together so they could give me info. I sent all my pictures of the car, never heard back from Juan - no reply, call or text. I get ahold of Juan the next day, he claims he did not get my email, please resend it (I can see the email went thru with attachments, but fine whatever I will send it again) - As I finish resending the email Juan lets me know to send it to a different person at the dealership. So I send the pictures of my car a 3rd time. No response. I guess these people do not want my business and do not care to service their customers. I was trying to make a major purchase here and I was met with EXTREMELY poor service, lack of followup and an awful experience. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone given the experience I have had, hope this can help others.

I always go here for express service to my Toyota and I've never been disappointment. The technicians are amazing and really know what they are doing. Some of the newer service advisers haven't been on par with Germain employees of the past but I don't they'll last long. The person I dealt with on my last visit was a little unfriendly and a bit of a know-it-all. Luckily another adviser stepped in to help and handled everything from there. I'll always come back to Germain because the service they provide is outstanding in the end.

My interaction on the phone as I scheduled the appointment was amazing - I got to speak promptly to a real person and they cared that I get scheduled promptly! When I arrived I was greeted by numerous people who left the impression they were delighted I was there. Service was estimated at 1 1/2 hours and took just under one hour!

Juan listened to what we wanted and showed us cars until I found the one I LOVED. My husband asked some hard questions, and when Juan didn't know the answer, he went and got it. (He didn't try to b.s his way through it). He was professional, respectful, and really nice to work with. He did a great job.Robert worked with us to finalize the deal. There was no pressure, and in short order, he allowed for some negotiating on the final price, and we were happy all around.We worked w/Tyler on the financing. After leasing a new Tundra last week and having such a wonderful experience, I brought my 23 year old son in to lease a new Scion. I have to be fair here and explain how wonderful our sales rep Benard was. He listened, was patient, and worked hard to get our deals done. As a matter of fact, everyone we worked with along the way was great until we ended up in the finance office with Tyler Carr. Keeping in mind that I had such a great experience the week before it's hard for me to be completely negative toward the dealership as I really don't think that's fair. This review is really about our Experience with Tyler Carr. My son is 23 years old and certainly doesn't have the experience in all of the moving parts involved in buying a car. As we went into the finance office, the first thing Tyler asked is why we are not purchasing as compared to leasing. Having already explained this, we again went through our reasons. Come to find out, he was trying to push us towards a purchase for some rediculous term of 84 months. Then he started on gap insurance. I explained that it was tough for my son to get to the payment he was at and that the 30 dollars a month it would add to the payment would affect my him. I explained that we would purchase 3rd party gap for much cheaper. Mr. Carr looked us in the eye and told us we couldn't do that. Now I don't know all the ins and out of auto deals but I have researched this and know that we indeed could. Mr. Carr was very pushy on this issue to the point of arguing with us and then down right insulted us. After telling my son without the gap insurance and if he's in an accident, he would be looking at a bankruptcy. He then followed that up with this exact quote, "if he can't afford an extra 25-30 dollars a month, then maybe he can't afford the car". The last time I checked, that is the customers choice! After some more back and forth, we walked out of his office and ready to go somewhere else. We found our sales rep and explained that we were on the way out. Keeping in mind that this was my sons deal, I told him that he could do whatever he wanted as far as continuing with the purchase or going to another dealership. Because the sales rep Benard had made such a good impression on him, he chose to stay but agreed that we would not be dealing with Tyler at all. I have simply touched on what happened in that finance office as this review would be way too long to write. I am an extremely loyal customer when it comes to buying cars. I had purchased roughly 10-12 vehicles and sent so many friends and family to a local Chevy dealership over the last 20 years. The reason I was at Germain was because the last time I dealt with that dealership, there was a bad experience in the service department that quite frankly left such an impression that I won't buy another Chevy. (Purchased a Lemmon) Imagine if I had not been there with my son as he has no experience in buying a vehicle. The point of walking into finance is to sign your papers and leave with your car. Tyler almost blew the deal because he was selfish, insulting, and pushy. At this point, I won't condem the dealership as I am hoping it's just a bad attitude from one person. The experience with everyone else involved from Benard to the sales manager to Asher in finance was really good. However, as customers we have a choice of where we make purchases. Tyler Carr should remember this. I can say one thing for certain, if he is involved in any future deal.....not a chance!

I've been a customer at Germain since 1999, and it's the quailty of the Toyota cars that brings me back, of course; but the reason I keep choosing Germain is because of the great people who work there. I've worked with Kent Artusi the last three times I've bought my Prius in for its maintenance visits, and he's always so friendly and easy to work with. Thanks for your help, Kent - see you in six months! :-) Also, Adam Castin, who sold me my Prius in 2014, came over to say hi and spend a few minutes catching up while I was waiting for my car. That's why I will always come back here - people actually remember you from 2 years ago! Thanks, Adam - see you when the lease is up on the Prius!

Disappointed in a dealership we've used for years on 07/08/2016

We strategically scheduled an appointment for a Tuesday night at 5:30 knowing that we wouldn't face the crowds of the weekend when purchasing our car. Our salesman Kenny had already spent time with us during a weeknight before we arrived so we knew which car we were buying and were already sold on the car. Kenny was fantastic. We were only there to buy it. We didn't leave until 9:30! What is worse is that when we became upset about the wait, there was an excuse made that there were only two people who could do what we needed done and there were several people before us and "Kenny should have told us this." Throwing a fellow employee under the bus is never good and if Kenny would have told us we'd be there until 9:30, the car would have been purchased at Toyota Direct. When we finally got to the back, because my husband is a physician (which they only knew from our financial document) the man actually said "This is for all of the times you've made people wait." I have never experienced customer service like that in my life. I think Germaine is doing well enough financially to hire more people to finish financial documents. We were paying them a lot of money and were treated like we did not matter. My son who lives out of town, was driving through Columbus and wanted to have dinner with us which was very important to us. We told him we would be done by 7:30 or 8 since Kenny told us he had a class at 8 and that is why we scheduled at 5:30.I will never go back to this dealership and would suggest if one doesn't appreciate being treated like an impertinent number whose time has no relevance, they would choose another dealership.

We had been to many other car dealerships and researched numerous car options over the last 6 weeks and had not yet found a car to meet our needs. We located a vehicle online at Germain Toyota and called to find out if the car was still available. Tom Lombardo answered our call and had the car waiting for us upon our arrival at the dealership. We had wanted to check the Carfax and service records and he had these in hand as well. We were beyond impressed with Tom's follow through of our questions as well as his knowledge of car mechanics. If he needed to obtain additional information from a co-worker Tom efficiently navigated the 'where'/'who' maze and promptly returned with an answer. I spent two hours working with Amanda Lobach trying to turn in my lease and get into another car. We agreed upon a payment that would work for me and she took the info back to financing. Eventually, Amanda came back stating that I would have to pay $100 more a month than what we agreed on in order to have the financing go through. At this time I let her know that wouldn't work for me and asked for my keys so I could go on my way.Instead of retrieving my keys, she goes to get Craig Niehaus. He begins to attempt to explain the reason for the increase in the payment, which was all contradictory of what Amanda explained. Once again, I let him know that payment would not work for me. His response was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I plan to discuss this with the appropriate management very soon.I asked him multiple times if I appeared mad or if I disrespected him in any way. He refused to answer any of my questions, so I asked him for his supervisor or manager. After initially refusing to give me the information I requested, he responds that Steve Germain is his boss. He writes down an email address for "rnewsomeatgermainmotorco.com." I ask who this person is and he states the General Manager. I asked why he told me Steve Germain and he ignores me once again.My experience with Craig Niehaus was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had to endure. Craig should be careful of how he speaks with customers because I know most would not be able to keep their composure as well as I did.I'm looking forward to speaking with the appropriate management to discuss my experience in further detail.

This may be a little long so bare with me but kinda like the title says, if you really want to know about the company, this will help A LOT. So I'm fresh out of college and was riding around in a 2003 Ford Focus. My Ford is a little old to say the least. I fear when I ride on the highway, we're going to break down all the time. After I graduated, I was ready to get a new car to go with this new chapter of my life. I wasn't ready to get a new car financially but I was ready in every other aspect. So I was online and ended up calling Jason Gregory. Jason kept in touch and found me a 2015 Chrysler 200 (which is exactly the car I was looking for). When I finally came in to look at it, I was instantly in love. I test drove it probably about 3 times and before I knew it I was doing paperwork. Needless to say, I ended up leaving with the car.Well when I came back two days later to finalize things, I realized how high my interest rates were. And on top of this, I was having no trouble getting the title of the Ford Focus that I was going to trade in. At the end of the day, this meant even more money owed. After interest and the title issues, my payments were considerably high. This of course was not their fault but over the course of 6 years, I'd be paying for the car and another car with the interest costs. I asked Rob if there was anything I could do. They ended up giving me my Ford Focus back and took the Chrysler 200 back. Not many dealerships would care about their customers more than a sale and for that, I'm extremely greatful for them. I'm sure if I went to another dealership, they would have not handled the situation the same. And although I'm leaving with my Ford Focus and not the new beautiful car I wanted, I'm still thankful to of had the chance to work with them.Thank you Germain Toyota!

I made an appointment with Jason, he was finishing up with another customer so we were in the waiting area Dave stopped by asked if we needed anything told a joke that got us laughing (most fun I've had at a dealership) Veronica stopped over to make sure Dave wasn't harassing us! While Jason was with the other customer I went on the test drive with Veronica & got a chance to check out all the features on the vehicle I inquired about. Jamie helped get the ball rolling by having me fill out the paperwork & taking care of my trade in, Jason tried to contact the finance company of my truck but they were closed so we decided to wait until Monday.While I was at work Jason got the information needed so once I got off work I just needed to sign the paperwork....so I thought, once I got there everything changed including the vehicle (for the good) Jamie noticed the mileage on the vehicle was incorrect so that changed the price but they had the same vehicle in a different color with the fancy push to start, I mentioned to Jason & Jamie that that vehicle was on my list that I brought in with me so good call & catch. Overall I'm very pleased with the service everyone is so friendly & helpful like a second family. I will continue to comeback & recommend Jason to anyone looking for a vehicle. I worked with Jason on trying to find a used car and he did an incredible job to help find me the right car, as well as preparing it for me before I arrived. I ended up not going with Germain as a family member was selling their car and gave a steal that any dealer couldn't support. Not only was Jason great, but the sales manager, Bill, was equally as good. When I felt that things moved a little too fast, Bill reached out and advised me that they will go at my pace and help me get into the right car. Though I didn't buy from Jason/Bill/Germain Toyota, I would highly suggest any friend looking for a used Toyota (or any used vehicle for that matter!) over any other Toyota/used dealer in the area. Great service, quick response time, and the negotiation was seamless (they aren't trying to take advantage of their customers). // I know this may come off to some as a planted review from someone who wasn't a customer, but please take this review as truth. Go buy a car from Germain, I can already tell you won't be sorry.

This is the second lease from Germain, my first Toyota was purchased from Germain. When Omar Jackson called to ask if I wanted to turn my lease in early for an upgrade I trusted him to have my best interest in mind (of course it would help him to). Omar was the sales person that I leased the other Camry from also. The process took less that two house, a record. I think one of the most important aspects of this process was that being a female and a senior citizen they did not talk down to me, I would have walked out had they. (I'm fussy about that) If I am still around when this lease expires I will be back, there is something very cool about having a new car. Ha My experience was positive but more importantly Toyota is dependable. Thanks again Omar and Tony (my finance "guy".

On Friday, January 22, 2016, my wife and I went into Germain Toyota on Scarborough Blvd. We were looking to purchase a new vehicle. We wanted to trade the Toyota Tercel we'd bought new from Germain in 1997, for a new Corolla. We met with Omar Jackson, a sales consultant with Germain Toyota. Omar was polite, courteous, professional and very helpful. At the end of what was a very wonderful buying experience, we drove away with a 2016 Camry with a monthly payment less than most are paying for the smaller Corolla at other dealers. Kip Henry, the finance manager was a delight as well. We've had a relationship with Germain Toyota for 19 years and I must say their service dept is number 1. Our Tercel had nearly a quarter of a million miles and I must credit its longevity to the Germain service dept. This may not be important, but in our 19 years of stopping in for scheduled maintenance, I have personally met or seen Mr. Germain walking through the Toyota store on Scarborough Blvd four times, he has so many facilities what is the chance of running into him even once. On Friday, January 22, he was there shooting a commercial! So for the best car buying experience and best price shop Germain Toyota and talk with Omar.

I was very interested in a Rav4, but didn't think I would be able to get into one because I had several months left on my current lease (a Nissan). I originally went into buy a car that I honestly thought was the best value for me but car salesman ended up showing me a car that was better all around for me as far as my needs and wants on the car were. Did the online quote and was contacted fairly quickly and salesman I was working with was very patient and willing to work around my schedule. Ended up buying a 2013 Camry SE which came cheaper and with less mileage than original car, so they look out for there people.

I was fortunate to be within a few miles of the dealership when my 2007 4Runner experienced a transmission issue while traveling Rte. 70E back to Western Pa. When I called the service dept. Omar was so easy to work with! After going through a bait and switch at another dealer I was leery and frustrated with the process. I explained to Omar what I did and did not want. He said he would hold the vehicle until I could get there. It was there as promised and I drove home with it that day. This is my second purchase from Germain Toyota and my second positive experience with them. I was extremely happy with my 2012 Corolla (apart from the fact that I wanted the cool touch screen and back up camera). I got an email from Adam on their sales team telling me that they could offer me a new car with $0 down and no increase in my payments. My first thought was "yea right, I've heard that from other dealers before." Adam came through though - without any hassle I got a 2016 Corolla S plus, $0 down, no increase in payments. They were true to their advertisement! Throughout the process, Adam was efficient and awesome to work with. Kip on the paperwork/financing side was very thorough in his explanation about the extra warranties and services offered. He was also very efficient. Overall, I had very little down time from start to finish. I have previous experience with the service department (maintenance only, I've never had an issue with my car) and again they've always been fantastic. I will continue to be a loyal customer.

I came to the dealership as a first-time minivan guy. While I attempted the online chat and text with a salesman, it just didn't have the right feel...I wanted a personal touch. Being new to the area and state, I had to bring my family in while I shopped the vehicles. Colleen Kofron was the first one to greet me, and boy am I glad she did. Let me just say, it was refreshing to see the transparency she displayed during the whole experience. She readily admitted when she didn't have an answer to a question instead of making something up, and followed through by finding it later, and she asked the right questions to help me decide what I wanted and needed. Colleen was very knowledgeable about the minivan I narrowed the search to, and spent some quality time explaining what everything did in the cabin of the vehicle (there are a lot of buttons as I got a Sienna Limited Premium). All in all, this was the most pleasant and satisfying dealership experience I have ever had. Bar none. And it was because of Colleen Kofron. Thanks, Colleen, we love the new ride! (Bill Adkins on the finance side of things was also outstanding. He knows his role and was very helpful. Sorry Bill - didn't mean to leave you out!)

I purchased a 2015 Avalon XLE that had 22K miles on it. The car is beautiful and I have been very happy with it, so far. However, the entire deal was soured when I was told that my car came with floor mats - although they could not find them the day I purchased the car. Fast forward 3 weeks; my sales person, Chris is no longer with the dealership, the used car sales manager tells another salesperson to tell me that the car didn't come with mats. I ask the salesperson if they were really going to ruin the experience over a pair of $200 car mats. He tells me "no, they are really more like $100". And NO - they are not going to provide them.It tends to be the little things that ruin a businesses reputation - and this is a small thing. I have multiple cars from Germain Toyota -3 to be exact. 2 new and this used one. Based on this small thing I will not only never buy another car from this dealership - I am going to tell every person I know that is the market for a new car to go elsewhere.Shame on you Germain Toyota.Disappointingly yours;Greg Hord

This past Friday I was in need of a new vehicle as my old van was sucking money out of my pocket as fast as I could put it in with its many, many needed repairs. I was done with that business! My very good friend recommended that I go to Germain Toyota and talk to Norm. So, that I did. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. I walked in and sat down with Norm and told him my circumstances, which were grim to say the least. With negative equity in my van, I wasn't sure what they would be able to do for me. Well, Norm worked his magic and, lo and behold, I was able to lease a brand new Camry! I have never had a brand new car before. To say that I was excited is an understatement. Now I have to be honest and say that my monthly payments were a bit higher than I wanted them to be, but that was because of the negative equity in my van and I really didn't have many options to deal with that. Norm and the other gentlemen that I worked with that evening were incredibly nice and I appreciate all that they did to help me get in a new vehicle before bad weather gets here. I now know that my children and I will be safe and I don't have to worry about breaking down on the side of the road in an old beat up van. Thank you Germain Toyota for doing for me what that other dealership wasn't able to do. I will be back!

To date, my family has purchased 5 Toyotas over the past 16 years at Germain. Mom is still driving her 1999 Camry, sis loves her Solara and my son couldn't live without his big Tundra that he uses for camping and hunting. For that reason, I went to Germain to buy my "retirement car" - a beautiful Camry that I'm sure will last me many years. Then a few weeks ago when my daughter in law's vehicle literally died, I called Norm and we decided to go shopping. In a matter of hours she became the owner of a RAV4 -- and she loves it! Germain has wonderful sales folks and Norm is among the very best! Thanks again Germain.

I was noodling the decision to pay off my car or leasing and accidentally hit "all" when I did an internet inquiry. Everyone did contact me and I was overwhelmed!!! Amanda was so nice and answered all of my questions and was willing to let me come in and just run the numbers and look at all of my options. I appreciate that because I run like crazy from hard aggressive sales :0) Anyway, she spent time with us and let us see all of the options. We were able to make an informed decison that was best and we have a wonderful car for the trouble. I can not recommend her enough. Just had my first leasing experience with Germain Toyota. There were ups and downs but overall had an excellent experience here. Germain ended up quoting me a higher lease price than another dealership for a 2016 Corolla. I was able to negotiate (after half an hour) to get the same rate as the other dealership and decided to settle on it due to location of this dealership (close to my home). I then received a call from another dealership saying they would upgrade to the S model for no charge. I felt terrible at this point, because while I did get an excellent deal, I could have gotten a better offer (thank human nature for having grass greener on the other side). I discussed with Mark who touched base with the general manager and was told to come next morning to get things "fixed."I came in the next day and was greeted by both Mark and Rich. I was hoping I wouldn't have to spend 2-3 hours discussing and trying to negotiate the offer again. Instead, Rich already knew of the situation, and told me he would upgrade me to the S model without charge. He was fantastic, easy, and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with his service.I just wanted to thank Rich and Mark for the great work that they put into the dealership. I noticed that Rich responds to people's reviews, good and bad. It takes a good boss to do that - and he was great to work with. Thanks for helping me with the lease!

At no point did I feel pressured into purchasing a vehicle that was priced above my means nor did I feel harassed or annoyed like I did with some "persistent" individuals at other dealerships that bombarded me with calls and generalized-mass emails. I didn't buy something the first day I went to the dealership, but when they had the vehicle I was looking for, I went straight to Luci Green, and she got a deal together that was done quickly and well within my budgetary means. I was treated fairly and with respect by Luci Green and the other employees of Germain Toyota and will definitely do business there again.

I usually do my own mechanical work - I taught auto-tech at Marion Franklin H.S.Since buying the 2013 Tacoma 4X4 new and it has factory warranty I decided to let the dealer do this work. I was pleasantly surprised when I was met by a service rep. Clayton - he listened to my "complaint" and processed the proper paper work to have the truck checked out - the only unfortunate problem was the fact that the problem had several service bulletins issued about the vibration in this truck - he explained this to me and I went home - 3 days later I went back and told Clayton to forget the problem and focus on the rumble in the truck - he took me to Ralph Cumston - Ralph drove the truck and stated he would get a new driveshaft for it - today 9//3/15 my truck is fixed . In less than a week the problem was solved and I am a happy truck owner - After completion of the work the service writer Robert finished up my experience - a really nice person !! If Steve Germain reads this I want to thank him for his excellent staff in the Fl/ dealership . My sister had a problem with her van and went to see if someone could help her solve the situation she had. Matt Shultz was there to help her - he went way above his job to get her problem solved - two and a half days ,he worked with my sister and I'm sure lost sales he could have made to help her out - she said if she ever buys another Toyota Matt will be the one she goes to - he is an outstanding person and I was glad to meet such a kind and compassionate man in your dealership Dan Truex

We were unable to find one in our home state of Indiana within our price range so we began looking in Ohio. That's when we found the PERFECT one at Germain Toyota of Columbus. We immediately called. My husband spoke to someone (Marlon I think) that said he would call him right back.. but he didn't. My husband decided to call again in the morning. He spoke with Luci Greene. It was still available!! One down side was that they were not able to take a deposit over the phone to hold it for us. So after reviewing the Carfax and photos we decided to jump on it and purchase it over the phone. The process was very simple and they gave us a great deal on our trade in. The next day they DELIVERED it to our home, savings us the 3 hour drive. We realized after they left with our old car that we forgot our daughters favorite CD in the car. A quick email to Luci and she put it into the mail for us!

We have purchased many vehicles from Germain Toyota. This particular instance is the first time for a new car. We bought a 2015 Highlander. This has been one of the most enjoyable experiences for a purchase ever! Chris Davis, our salesperson, is genuine, knowledgeable, and a no-nonsense type of person. I trust him and that's huge this day and age. I think he always has had our best interests in mind while we shopped for a new car. Every person we have encountered over the years at Germain have been exceptional and outstanding. And that includes servicing our vehicles at Germain too. The new facility is outstanding and modern. I've had interactions with 3 service individuals over the past 4-5 months and each one has been courteous, friendly, but more importantly knowledgeable. They have always taken the time to answer thoroughly any questions I've asked them. When I bring a car in for service, and it's almost always been routine or scheduled maintenance, my car is taken, the service performed, and returned when promised. It doesn't get any better than that. My most recent visit at Germain was for routine service on two cars; an older 2009 Camry and an hour later a 2015 Highlander. When the Camry was completed I was waiting for my wife to bring in the Highlander and I was asking the service person a quick question and there was a knock on the glass wall separating the service kiosk from the sales area and I looked up and it was Chris, our sales person for the Highlander just saying "Hi." The best part is I was happy to see him!!! This has been a very positive experience and I'm happy to be a Germain customer.

My Salesman is a young man Chris Davis. I found him to be very helpful in listening to what I wanted and working to find the Tacoma that would fit my needs. He knew when to be assertive and when to back off and let the situation develop. We had a minor problem develop after the deal was finalized on an option, but due to the relationship we had formed, we were able to resolve the issue with minimal financial pain to either party. I also had a good chuckle as my new work truck, being in the Nursery Business and the truck less than a week old, returned to the dealership to pick up a personal item left in my trade in. The truck was filthy and covered in mud and dirt. Chris just laughed as he handed me the returned item and said, "That's the way they should look, not all waxed and pretty!"As to the vehicle, I have 1500 miles on it so far without a single issue. I would highly recommend Germain Toyota, Chris Davis, and the Toyota Tacoma.It should also be noted that in visiting 2 separate Chevy Dealerships to test drive a Chevy Colorado, 2 separate sales associates either completely failed to respond to me or responded 2 days after a promise to get with me "before the end of the business day." If they worked on my sales staff at my company I would have a serious discussion with them about the definition of respecting the customer.

I initially bought a 2011 Hyundai Elantra from David Backherms, after having issues with it I was told that they'd fix it since it was within the return policy but I wouldnt be able to recieve a loaner car because they "dont loan cars at Germain." After talking to one of the managers I was able to get a loaner car no issue. I was then contacted by Mr. Backherms who stated that even though they didnt know what was wrong with the car they were going to send it back.After a 10 minute conversation, in which I told mr Backherms that I didnt want the car back if it wasnt completely fixed and that I wanted a full check up on the car, he told me they were still sending it back since they couldnt find anything wrong. 5 mins later David called me and told me that they found the issue and were going to fix it.After having more issues with the car, I spoke to the GM Greg and asked to get a new one since it was within 3 weeks since I had purchased my car. He Okay'd it which was very commendable but on the day I was going in to meet with them, they told me Greg couldn't negotiate with me because it was a busy Saturday, which I didnt appreciate.I eneded up picking out a Certifed preowned Toyota, during the negotiation process I was informed that I couldnt get my $1000 back that I put down on the car because they were going to lose that in transfer fees alone. They ended up giving me about 1800 off but after the $1000 I lost it only ended up being about $800 and although I feel like they should have done more for mee for all of my incoinvences I still believe I got a decent price on a great carwhich has given me 0 problems except for the tires which were not up to Certified standards and Germain Toyota gave me brand new ones for less than half price.I also wentg in for an oil change 3 months later, and it cost me close to $100. At that time I was also informed that they were no longer rebuilding the car wash that was a selling point in my decision to buy the car initaillyThe reason I waited so long to write a review was because I wanted to make sure I didnt bash Germain Toyota because the people were friendly and I still believe they are a great dealership however my purchasing experinces did not reflect that.

Before I start let me say that I am not one who usually goes on and writes reviews online. I also am not some squeaky wheel, trying to get the proverbial grease. I am however a consumer who went into Germain Toyota and 3 months later finally walked out with a dependable car. Also, this is just my situation and this is in no way trying to lower the credibility of Germain Toyota, there are plenty of excellent reviews online and at points they went above and beyond for me and I am grateful for that. However, my car purchasing experience was anything but smooth, in fact it was hell. At one point I was in the Germain dealership at least twice a week. I walked in on December 28th 2014 and bought a 2011 Hyundai Elantra with 51,000 miles on it from David Backherms. I told Dave that I needed a car that would allow me to get and from school and something that would be reliable. During the initial transaction David told me he had worked with Germain Toyota for a few years and seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about the car and got me in and out of the dealership fairly quickly, this was also aided by the fact that I didnt haggle too much as I felt the price was fair and also I was on a time crunch. Within 3 weeks the brakes began to make a crunching sound and the car wouldnt always start on the first try. I called David and he told me to bring it in as it was still within the initial dealership warranty of 60 days and 2000 miles. I obliged and when I got there, David told me hed send it off to service for me and get the brakes resurfaced. I thanked him and asked him about a loaner car as this process wouldnt allow me to do my daily functions without one. David told me they didnt give out loaner cars and I would have to either rent a car, for $35 a day or see if my parents could drive me around. I didnt think that was the truth and ended up speaking to Rob McClurkin later that week. He told me that it sounded like it was an issue with the starter and he then proceeded to set me up with a loaner car, no problem. When I told David about this he told me he didnt know they did that, and that he should have asked. Fair enough, everyone makes mistakes, no biggie. Later that week Dave called me and told me that they could not find out what was wrong with the car and that they were going to send it back. I told him that I didnt want the car if they didnt fix it and he told me they didnt find anything to fix, after a few back and forth sessions of this I asked Dave to speak to a manager and I was given the run around about how they wouldnt be able to do anything about it and so forth. I reminded him that they were the ones who got me a loaner car when he told me they didnt loan out cars. We had a 10 minute conversation and I ended it by telling him, if they sent the car back, unfixed that they could keep it and Id like a different one. Our call ended at 12:56pm, David called me back at 1:01pm and told me they found the problem and they were going to fix it. What a coincidence. After getting my car back I had more trouble with it and I ended up having to swap it out, which was an entirely different issue within itself. Management was extremely difficult to get in contact with; I called Rob McKlurkin multiple times and didnt hear back for 2 days. The only time I would receive a call back from management was when I would call Greg, after which anybody who hadnt called me in the previous days would call me within the next few hours. On the day of the purchase I was told that I had to make a decision on a car that day, otherwise Id have to drive the Elantra back home until I could because they were losing money on the loaner car! The day I went in to chose another car, I was told Greg was busy and I wasn't going to be speaking with him directly. I felt like this was a bit disrespectful, since they were so courteous while I was purchasing the car and I felt like since the original car I bought was faulty that I should be a top pri

I had just had a really bad experience with Germain Honda of Dublin before I arrived at Germain Toyota. I was in a grumpy mood and skeptical that I would find the car I wanted. I was greeted by a very sweet tiny blonde, whose name I didn't catch. She immediately greeted us and asked how she could help us. We told her we were looking into cars, used ones and she promptly introduced us to Chris Wilson. He was all smiles and very clean cut professional. I explain my bad mood and he immediately jumped to what I was looking for, our price range, our credit and what we looking to do for a per a month payment. He ran to ask his boss what he could do for us. He came back with 2 keys, and I don't know if he was reading our minds or not but he took us straight to the regular prius, not the c. (prius c is smaller and my husband is an extremely tall man). I fell in love with it. He wasn't pushy, but knowledgeable. He was very pleasant during the test drive. Just chatted with us and made me feel calm. I got a really good vibe from the car. He pointed out cool little tricks that the other dealership hadn't. He just made the overall experience wonderful. He let us take our time looking at it (every nook and cranny). When I hinted to my husband that this was the car, we noticed it was out of our budget but he assured us it would be within our monthly budget. We went back inside and it all felt like a whirlwind. He filled out the app for us which I secretly loved because I hate filling out papers. Within 20 minutes I was ringing their ridiculous bell signifying that I had just bought a car. As ridiculous as it felt, Chris seemed genuinely happy for us (and not just because he had sold a car). We were then passed onto Asher Puri for our finance part. He was amazing, he was able to give us a deal of a lifetime with an interest rate my husband and I didn't think we could get. His boss Robert, although we didn't work with him directly, interrupted our finance session to pull Asher to the side to share an even better deal for us. Between Asher and Robert we walked away completely happy with what we were going to be paying. Asher kept the mood light while we discussed the hardest thing about buying a car and really made us feel like we were making the right decision. We were then handed back to smiling Chris who seemed thrilled to do the hand over of the car. Between these 3 individuals, they made us Toyota customers for life.

Yesterday I called Germain Toyota with a laundry list of repairs for a very nice, but neglected 2008 Yaris. Today it is shining like a top and purring like a kitten, without taking me to the laundry! I got my car serviced at Germain about a year ago, when my car was having all sorts of issues. They were honest with me about what I needed to get fixed and what was not too concerning. I drove 150 miles just to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. After speaking with the staff online, they had everything ready for my visit to the dealership. I was able to purchase the certified preowned vehicle at the price I was looking for. I could have easily purchased a similar vehicle in my hometown, I'm glad I visited this dealership instead.

I worked with Chris Wilson and was very impressed with his professionalism. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and very helpful. I did not feel pressured and he tried to speed things along, per my request. I am not one that likes to spend all day at the car lot and I feel I was able to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I love my Toyota and would greatly recommend Germain Toyota!

Germain Toyota is a great place to buy a vehicle. My salesperson was David Backherms however Brian Scott was also very helpful while David was finding the Camry I was looking for. I was at the dealer on 4/11/15 because I was stranded in Columbus with 4 kids and wife, due to a bad batteries that I just purchased over two month ago from Joseph Toyota. When I went to the dealer, I spoke with two men, one at the service desk and one at parts department and both nicely refused to help, unless I was setup for service. Before he can set me up for service I was able to switch it myself in less than 5 minutes with a pair of pliers, right on the parking lot. Thanks God I didnt send my wife. For what I went through on the road at 9PM with kids and wife, I was expecting the dealer to give me the best service I have ever got before. As a loyal Toyota driver of 25 years more than 8 cars I was very disappointed.

I came across a Volkswagon that I was interestes in, so I did what is recommended and emailed the dealer to check availability. Two days later I receive an email that says "hi" nothing else. I respond back...nothing. Then I receive an email two days later that is titled "I am concerned" that is filled with specials, but nothing that relates to my car choice. I don't have time to sit and wait on hold anymore, so I assume the call is gone. Then the following week, (yesterday), I receive an email and call from Bernard, the guy who send me the "Hi" email, and he assures me the car is still there and I can come and check it out today. I ask about extended warrenties and such. I've already have a Carfax report and an appt at MAG to inspect it. I'm 95% sure I'm buying it. This morning I receive a follow up call from Bernard verifying our appt.Then I hop online to check if it has a tow hitch installed and can't find it. I contact the dealership again and they say it's been sold!! It was sold this weekend... So the entire time I spoke with Bernard on Monday, the car had been sold. Wow.... So they let a guy email and call clients who has not even been trained to verify the cars existance first?

I was very pleased with the service and expertise of the salesmen and the business manager. Shawn helped me get money back on the car I traded in by helping me cancel my old dealers warranty. I was able to get a few hundred dollars back that I would have never gotten without his knowledge. I will be buying my next car from Germain Toyota!

I picked out a 2012 Toyota Rav 4 online, and had to drive 2 1/2 hours to pick it up. Everyone I dealt with was excellent! They were understanding, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The whole process was organized and problem-free. I have not had such a great experience at any other dealership, and I will return to Germain Toyota for any vehicle purchase in the future. In August, 2014, our 4-Runner lease was up and we really hadn't been able to decide what to do, especially considering we had high miles, drove it a lot more than we thought we would! To help us filter out of our predicament, we requested Leo Treadway, the same rep that brought us to our 4-Runner to begin with. We almost couldn't imagine working with anyone else (although, the rep who showed us other used vehicles as we debated was also VERY nice and informed!) When we went back to make our final decision, Leo took our current situation into consideration and after a lengthy discussion about options and studying other vehicles as well as the merits of keeping our own, we finally decided to BUY our 4-Runner. Leo then helped us determine our need for warranties, explained the different loans and various terms we had to choose from and offered his recommendation. At the end of the day, we drove away in our beloved 4-Runner and as of this date, found the warranties he recommended have already come in handy - we do put on a lot of miles! This review reflects service we experienced from Leo Treadway back in August of 2011. We were looking to purchase or lease a Toyota SUV coming from a Durango. Leo spent a number of hours with us, asking probing questions and showing us specs and vehicles, all of which he used to arrive at his recommendations for a 4-Runner while also showing us other vehicles and options we had burning questions about as we finalized our choice. By the time we were finished, he was able to locate a 4-Runner in the color we chose with most of what we were looking for, worked with us on a lease price and had arranged to have the options added we required to the one he found. He was very well-informed, extremely professional and personable, easy on the eyes- what a winning combination. A true pleasure to work with. As many questions we asked and back and forth between option we went with him, his responses were knowledgeable, articulate and his demeanor remained friendly and patient. As first-time leasers, we had a TON of questions. We walked away with a vehicle that suited us and that we enjoyed - he also helped us when we ran into (user error) questions shortly after we took it on the road.
