We came in to buy a second car, the sales people were great. Joe Garland helped us with our purchase but I have to credit all the rest of the sales people also for entertaining our kids so we could have a conversation and take our time. Joe was not pushy or rushing us into anything. We ended up having many laughs with the finance manager Gerald and by the time we walked out of his office I saw my kids dancing and laughing even though they should have been cranky after a very long ride. This was the easiest car buying experience we have had. The guys there seem honest, genuine and easy going. If we need another car I will be going to George Coleman Ford.

Finest experience yet with a dealership. I have bought new Ford vehicles every two to three years all my driving life of 40 years from several dealers closer to me, one for the last 25 years until I went searching for something better. Since purchasing an F-350 in 2002, George Coleman has become our #1 choice for purchasing a new vehicle. It is a friendly, small town dealership that works hard to please the customer. Reggie Small was a great sales representative, and Brandon Small educated us well in using the great technology in our new Escape. Gerald Jordan, business manager, explained every option as we closed our deal, with no high pressure tactics and was so friendly and personable. Everyone at George Coleman is friendly and helpful. It was a very comfortable experience rather than a stressful one. With our truck we already know that the service department does a great job with the maintenance. We received a lease buy-out offer from Ford on our 2013 Edge and chose Coleman Ford to convert our lease to a 2015 Escape. The process was not without a few hiccups, (though I suspect Ford's marketing folks may have been a bit out in front of the dealerships on this one). So let's talk about the new car and the "deal-of-deals" Joe Wright put together for us. The Escape Titanium is loaded, newer, cheaper, and fits better in our garage. Joe is an honest up-front kind of guy, proud of the dealership's history and reputation for integrity and fair play. Coleman Ford is a friendly and easy-going environment for car shopping and deal making, and I'll be sure to return in 36 months -- give or take.

I found the people at George Coleman very easy to work with. Joe was very helpful and will consider working with him the next time i need a car. Ford Motor Credit ,however, was a terrible experience, It did not concern them that i had a password on my credit . They where very rigid in their process and it did not concern them that access to my credit score had to be opened up for the world to see. This exposes me to risk and identity thief. I will never talk or do business with them again and will consider legal action if i suffer any negative impacts due to my credit information being exposed . They can take their process and ____ .

My first visit to Coleman Ford was 1998, on a Saturday, just near closing time. I'd had a battery problem with my Ford Escort, I pulled in the Service area, to have them check my battery, they did. It needed replaced and even though, most everyone had left, the service man took the time to charge and change out my battery. The people were so nice I said, if I ever need another vehicle, this will be where I come. Fast forward to 2013, I'm now retired, married and we're looking for a new truck. I insisted we come here. The salesman we met was Cadillac Black. He never pressured us in any way and was so friendly. We took home our F150 in August 2013. Today, we just upgraded to an F250, in order to have more power pulling our fifth-wheel. The people in this dealership go above and beyond for friendly, pressure free service. We'll be back, I'm sure!

The Service Department has been great to us for the past 6 years. With over 230K on my old F-250 I was not excited about going through the process of purchasing a new one. Jake walked me through my options based on what I was going to tow. When he did not have the truck i wanted he found one specifically based on my request. The test drive, trade in, and purchase was so simple. 3 business days from my first visit to the delivery of my new 250. After the sale Jake took time to go over the vehicle, set up the Sync, and made sure i was comfortable before i drove off. GREAT EXPERIENCE !!!

I bought my first truck from George Coleman Ford in 2005 and while it was an excellent experience, I decided to shop around when searching for a new truck in 2014. I visited a couple Ford dealerships in the Greenville area and was either immediately attacked with shady business dealings or not taken seriously. As a woman and a business owner, needing a truck that met the needs of her farm, I was referred to Joe Garland at George Coleman and never looked back, nor bothered to return the calls of the other dealerships I walked out of. Joe not only went out of his way to confirm the hauling specs of the vehicle I was considering, but he found the absolute truck that I was looking for, down to interior color and features. His initial price was fair, well to the low side of similar trucks on the market, but even after I had mostly committed to the vehicle, he worked with his manager to reduce the price even more. I bought the truck sight unseen and will always remember his call to say, "This is a beautiful truck," when it arrived at the dealership. When I came the next day to finish paperwork and drive off the lot, the experience was doubly compounded by the amazing staff who took care of my every need. I will be purchasing all my future vehicles from George Coleman and referring them to everyone I know. Thank you so much for the pain-free truck buying experience!

I am so furious with this company, more specifically the salesman Doug and sales manager Randy. I went to look at one of their vehicles that met all my criteria at a reasonable price. I called before coming and spoke with Doug and arrived at about 5PM and they closed at 7PM. He showed me the car and allowed me to inspect it. I found an oil leak in both head gaskets and the front right rotor had excessive wear indicating a braking issue. Both of these could be dealt with, but I asked how we could deal with these issues. Other than those two things, the car was great and we loved it. We expressed this to him and asked if he could have his service department evaluate it. He said sure and and he would give me an update the next morning. Before I left, I spoke with the sales manager Randy and told him how much we liked the car and wanted to see what the service department thought about the repair issues. Well, I did get a call the next day at 1PM, but it wasn't to tell me what the service would be. Instead, they informed me that the car was sold to someone else. I couldn't believe it. I asked him why did they not even try to call me to tell me someone was interested and were about to buy it. Doug told me that I didn't put a deposit down. I said, that you never even mentioned that I needed to put a deposit down and that we were going to settle up the next day. I told him that he knew how interested we were. Then I asked why Randy allowed the sale to happen knowing after I went out of my way to meet him, shake his hand, and express my keen interest in the vehicle? Why did I not get a phone call? The story goes much longer, but the bottom line is that, in less than 5 business hours, the sale person Doug and the sales manager Randy sold the car that I clearly expressed interest in right out from under me without a notification until after it was too late and sold to someone else. This is no way to conduct business and is very unprofessional. It is people like this that make people hate the car buying experience. Thanks for nothing.

I am a first time car buyer, I was unsure of the process and all it would entail. I had a lot of people and family helping me and even took my brother and boyfriend with me so I would not get ripped off. After dealing with the AMAZING people here I have to say that I am confident that I could have gone in there alone and gotten just as great a deal. They are the nicest people and are truley helpful. I was in and out in probably an hour. Not only was my expirence buying amazing but after leaving with the car I realized it needed to have the front end aligned, all I did was pick up the phone the next morning and called--they are taking care of everything. I am so glad I went with this dealership thye are outstanding!!

In the market for a Ford F-150, V-8. This vehicle will become a towing/hauling truck in time. Decided to stop by George Coleman based on their reputation and previous encounters. Immediately met Cadillac Black, who was the most laid-back, friendly car saleman we'd ever dealt with. Since he had what we wanted on the lot, we began working with numbers. No hassle, no pushy salesman, just a friendly, down to earth transaction. We had a trade in, which they offered a fair price without even seeing the vehicle. We left that evening feeling very confident this would be the place to buy. We returned in the morning for a test drive. We loved the truck even more. This was a cash transaction and again, no pressure to finance. They "threw" in floor mats and a free oil change. They also cleaned the truck inside and out. (not that is was dirty) Love that new vehicle smell. They handled the plate transfer and insurance setup. We felt like valued customers when we left. I can't say enough about this delaer. I bought a used vehicle fom them last week and when I got it home I noticed a small piece of plastic was cracked on the covertible top. I called Randy Looper and he had me bring it right back in. When I got there Randy, the sales manager, the service manager, and Mr. Coleman himself were waiting. They took one look and said that it would be fixed or I could cancel the purchase. Can you believe that in this day and time? They kept the car for a couple of days before returing it to me with a brand new convertible top. Plus another full tank of gas. I have made many car purchases in my 60 years but never have I dealt with a more honest and reputable dealer. You abosutlely cant go wrong at George Coleman Ford. I drove 2-hours from Columbia to make my purchase from them and will do it again on my next purchase

My husband and I were looking for a new car and decided to go here. In the process of checking our credit, which we were working so hard to build back up, we ask the salesman to please have them check only 2 creditors because of our last experience with another car dealer. Come to find out that they were not going to give us any leeway on our trade in so we decided against the new car. Parting ways friendly until we started getting letters from different places they applied for loans to with denials. My credit rating has now gone done 8 points becaus of that. I will never shop there again, or recoomend. Obviously they only care about what they are going to get out of it and not what the customer wants. Thanks for nothing.
