Ricky was very helpful for us We had exchanged emails for a little while I had done my research so everything went smoothly. Jim was also helpful. I ultimately decided to opt for the warranty but visions ( with their games) came back with a credit score 72 points lower than Jim got here, so in the end because of higher interest rate had to pass. And, I was having a terrible day on my pick up day and the customer before me was late, holding up my process, but ricky was pleasant and made it all great!!!

2017 Camaro SS

I bought this car in early August 2016. I researched this car for about a year...traveling on weekends to Chevy dealers within about 2 hrs drive from the Binghamton NY area to include Scranton PA, Syracuse NY area, Elmira NY and I even went to Albany and Rochester. The car was perfect for me and I looked at MANY. However, what sold me on this dealership vs just having it transferred to another for me was the fact that the salesman, Badr ElHamouri and their business manager, Jim Mushock, were first-rate class acts. Badr knew more about this car than I did, and I had spent several hundred hours pouring over this car in research. That in itself is an accomplishment as I am meticulous, thorough and an engineer. Jim Mushock made the financial transaction PAINLESS. Im 50+ years old. I have never had an automobile transaction be completely painless. Not only that, but he got me the very lowest price than any of the other dozen or so dealerships I sat down with over the year produced. I hate writing reviews for anything, but this one had to be written. I will be buying from these two guys again if they are still there when the time comes.

Pick up truck

My friend Tim Mooney had just bought a pickup truck from you guys and had Lou as a sales person. So when I went to Gault's Auto, I asked for Lou. Lou was very nice and made me feel at home. I know Lou is new there and was very helpful and if he couldn't answer any of my questions he asked Georges Yammine for help. With a little work Lou should be an asset to Gault's Auto and will be a good sales person!

Worst experience ever

I bought a 2012 Silverado w 17k miles in Nov. 2015. Within 30 days I emailed the Chevy dealership that there was something wrong with the transmission. They ignored, ignored n ignored it until finally addressing it. Couple times in the dealerships having me try this and that and waste 10k miles. Finally they said they could do anything. I addressed it to GM Corp and they said best they could do is 3,000 consumer cash on top of dealership trade in which is 28k. I just paid 39k. So I continue fighting and fighting and finally get them to take it for a week and fix it. They changed a couple of sensors and all good. The guy said if I didn't get it fixed I could end up being forced forward when breaking. So good thing I got it fixed huh. Nope, worst then when it started. What happeneds is when I break I can hear the gears clunking if my windows r open from underneath the car. The truck revs up between every shift and it feels like it's forcing me forward. Every once in awhile when accelerating it will hesitate quickly then keep going. Slowing down and accelerating again I heard clunks from my feet. Traction control light went off along with Stabilitrak. They fixed those but not the issues. So I'm sitting here with a truck that was 39k that came with these issues and is documented that were there from the get go and I'm being told it was a risk I took when buying a used vehicle. Not to mention it's certified... which apparently means nothing. So I escalated this to Alicia Bolero Davis's office who is a top executive in customer relations. Who I thought I'd be speaking with then I get their secretary who says she will look into it. Not like I haven't been doing this for 7 months now. And says that the trade in is only 28k because once I drive it off the lot it reduces it's value. Well I get that part in a normal scenario but this truck came damaged. She had no response to that. And says unless I can prove the guy said I could be pushed into traffic at anytime that she can use that. Even though I have plenty of messages with them saying he was gonna get fired if he kept talking to me and that everything about my files got locked up. Sounds suspicious to me. And I even addressed the comment he made about my trucking pushing forward into traffic in a text message and the response was they will see what they can do... Let's see what Alicia boler Davis's office has to say... Will update my experience

No attempt to offer to fix issue w/ vehicle

Recently bought a used GMC Envoy from them. Less than 30 days and only 800 miles later both front wheel hub assemblies went bad. Called and asked if they were covered under the 60day/3000 mile lemon law warranty. After being transfered to the sales manager then the service manager then to another manager, was told that no they were not. Asked if they would do anything to help since had the truck for less than 30 days and had only put 800 miles on it before the hubs went bad. Was told "no can't help you". I live 50 miles from dealership and was not worth it for me to drive down to have them look and tell me they would not cover it and then pay to have them replaced. As a business owner I would not just tell someone that has a problem w/ my product "sorry we WONTdo anything for you". An offer to cover labor or part of costs or something, but just "NO, we WONT cover that". Not at all impressed by this dealership. Will never buy from them again and will be sure to inform anyone looking to purchase not to go there.

I didn't know if I could afford a new truck with my trade in. The team called me at home when needed, was there on Saturday to finish paperwork and enable me to take my Silverado truck home that Saturday. We bought a 2011 Buick Regal from Ryken at Gault a few weeks ago!! He was WONDERFUL to deal with!! He was not pushy, which was a BIG plus for me!! He let us make the decision and didn't try to tell us what to think! We knew exactly what we wanted and he worked with us! When we said that another dealer had a similar car for less money, he looked it up and IMMEDIATELY matched the price at the other local dealer! He had us done and in our new car on the same day! This dealership is awesome !! I literally bought my car from the comfort of my home. I told them what I was looking for and within a day I had a car in my driveway to test drive . I ordered the color I wanted and within another day it was delivered to my home . All the paperwork and financing was all completed by the dealership. I only had to make one phone call to verify that I wanted the new car put on my insurance . Everything else was done for me! I got the car I wanted and didn't even have to take any time off work . The customer service by Tom and his team in incredible ! You won't regret buying a car from them !

Love My Chevy 2500HD From Gault Chevrolet

This was by far the best buying experience I have ever had. I shopped in Ithaca and it was like playing a card game. What I mean is they kept trying to play with the numbers with my trade, wanted me to finance at a high rate [their local credit union}. They were very pushy with their rustproofing, warranty to the point were it was uncomfortable. I left not feeling good but thankfully I found Gault Chevrolet online, drove down got a much better interest rate, decided to get the rust-protection and the warranty but at half the cost. Do yourself a favor give them a try.

I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2011 Silverado from Gault Chevrolet. Gault gave me a great trade in value on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata which enabled me to purchase the Silverado. The truck was in perfect condition, clean inside and out. The dealers were great and my finance manager Jim was the best. I would strongly recommend Gault to my friends and family. Poor Experience in Sales Department

I was trying to purchase a new 2013 Chevy 1500 Silverado. Salesman suggested a 2013 because of all the rebates and incentives. I had a Chevy 2500 Silverado to trade in. The sales guy told me when I was all said and done with my tradein, rebates ect, taxes and tags ect what the total price was going to be and came to an agreement. They sent all the paperwork to my bank. My loan officer called me to clarifiy some information to have everything ready for me to sign. The price of the paper work of the truck she had was $3,000 more then what the sales guy originally told me not to mention I asked him a couple times prior. I called the business manager talked to him. He kept telling me there was a miss understanding on my part. Customer always right dude. The sales guy was poor anyway. He would never return my phone calls when he said he would. Told me he was going to fax out the paper work to my bank and never did The business manager at the time faxed it out. The owner of the business he will not return your phone calls either. No deal made.

WOW....just bought a beautiful new Avalon from Gault Toyota! Went in to buy a Camry, but after talking with sales person, she told us about the new Avalon and the benefits for that vehicle. The sales person was very knowledgeable of both models. The facility is beautiful, up to date and impressive. Thorough review of all features by sales person and met sales manager who will be handling future maintenance. Owner came by to shake my hand and thank me for my business. New 2500HD Crew Cab

Gault gave me a fantastic cash price on the 2500HD, and after we settled on that, we discussed a trade. They offered me a good deal on the truck I traded also, about what I was hoping to sell it for privately. Very happy with my deal, and the sales force was great to deal with. Very knowledgeable about trucks too, which is as important as the selling price.

I bought a new MAlibu from Andy at Gaults and it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. The way they sold the car I was under no pressure and even dealing with my trade in was great. Andy showed me everything abut the dealership before I even sat down to buy the car. Overall I have to say the process was great all the way down to Jim getting our zero % financing. I would strongly recommend anyone to buy there, I've been to Botnick's and Mathews chevy stores and they don't even compare. I had the oil change done at about 3k miles and the service people were great, they even offered to bring me to work or up to the mall to shop while my car was being worked on. In their waiting room they have wireless internet so this was a big help.
