My transmission went out on my 2014 and Nissan took it to the dealership they had it fixed in 3 days Hurricane Matthew was in the process of coming and I live 4 hours away Mickey Downey met me at the dealership because it was closed on Friday as the hurricane approaching land so I could get my car because the dealership was closed you can't ask for a better service., he made sure I was taken care of I would always do service or business with Nikki Downey thanks Nikki this is Kimberly McKenzie

I moved to Florida three years ago. I bought my Nissan Leaf up north about five years ago. Since I was from out of state, I didn't buy it at Gainesville Nissan, however when I needed service, they were there for me. The Leaf has been a very reliable car and I haven't had to pay a single dollar for repairs since purchasing it. It is now almost 5 years old and soon to be out of warrantee. I brought it in today for a battery check (main battery) since the battery was below the threshold stated in the warrantee. Gainesville Nissan worked with Nissan corporate to get me a new battery, saving me $6,000.00. When it was going to take longer than expected to get the corporate OK, they provided me with a courtesy vehicle (without asking). Battery approved, it is now on order from Factory. Thank you Gainesville Nissan.

He then showed us exactly what my wife described. Buying the car was a smooth process. My wife was delighted. Six months later, my wife decided that she wanted a new car that had a navigation system. I scheduled an appointment with Mickey. He again listened closely to my wife and showed us exactly what she described. Once again, the process was smooth. My wife has a new car and I have one that is six months old. We are both delighted.

We recently purchased a used 2014 Murano from Gainesville Nissan. Ray Odabai sold us the vehicle and was great. He was very low pressure through the process and we didn't feel any of that sales pressure that we worry about when shopping for a used vehicle. The negotiations were straight forward and didn't unnecessarily waste our time. While we were waiting for the financing to come through he helped me get the car I had driven to the dealership back to my house (so my wife didn't have to drag the kids over to pick us up). We had an all around great experience at Gainesville Nissan and would definitely go back there for our next purchase.

I am one of those people who do not like shopping for cars. At the time, I was upside down on my current car but it was too small for our family's needs. I went to every dealership in Gainesville trying to trade my vehicle in. No one would talk to me. I finally went to Nissan and met Roger Pytko. He understood the situation I was in and he worked for days to try and get me into a Nissan Armada. Just when we were about to sign the papers, I changed my mind and decided on a Pathfinder. He put so many hours into the first car deal but didn't get annoyed when I changed my mind and he had to start all over again. I was so happy and impressed with his pleasant attitude and his concentrated efforts to make me a happy customer that we ended up trading a second car with Roger. Most other car dealerships in Gainesville would not have put this sort of effort into a customer who was upside down on their trade. We visited Gainesville Nissan looking for a new car for our daughter and ended up getting a great deal on a new 2015 Sentra SR for her. Mickey Downing was great and made the process very simple. We did not have to spend all day trying to make a deal. During that process Elijah Miller asked my husband if we wanted to trade our 2013 Altima for a new car. We told him we would consider it if the deal was right. He came back with the right deal and we traded for a 2016 Altima; and so ended up buying two new cars that day. The entire process for both cars was completed in about 3 1/2 hours. Mickey Downing and Elijah Miller are both awesome. Very friendly and treat you like family. No high pressure sales tactics. Ken Gendron in the finance department was wonderful too. Moved the signing of the paperwork along very quickly and was someone we also enjoyed meeting. Gainesville Nissan is a dealership we will return to for future vehicles. They take the hassle out of car buying. We will recommend them to all our friends and family.

My fiancee and myself recently ended up in quite a bind, do to our financial service for our then current vehicle.We were told by several dealerships that they could get us in a GREAT car, with the down payment that we had!... And nope, everytime it was bait and switch for garbage that they had as wholesale, which was unacceptable. I'm not putting my loved ones in a high mileage car with no warranty or service. After days of slogging through high and low end dealerships, we were dejected, to say the least. It was either bait and switch tactics, or the down payment was always $500 more than we had, no matter how much we claimed to have.At the end of a long day, my mother called me, and asked me why I didn't go see her guy "Mickey". At this point, I didn't know how anyone could help, but I begrudgingly agreed, because I also live two hours away from Gainesville.Mickey Downing met us, and got things going, as far as the financial bits. We worked out what I did and did not want, and my options therein. I was absolutely impressed with the new Sentra we drove, so Mickey went to work.The whole process took relatively little time, and Mickey made things happen, never even hesitating when we would end up with a bump in the road.It was literally one of the best days of my life, my first new car (out of eight owned), and a thankfully easy transaction. I understand why my mother has bought her previous two vehicles from Mickey Downing, he is awesome to work with, and not mention Gainesville Nissan is amazing in itself. I will be back.

The sales experience was top notch! The sales people and the sales manager bent over backwards to sell me a 2015 Nissan Leaf. The problem lies with the service department. The service writers do not EVER seem to return phone calls and they are never at their desks. The sales manager, Sam Griswold was rude and dismissive when I complained about the lack of communication. My brand new Leaf has had problems with the climate control fan going on and off at will. The service department is completely unfamiliar with this new technology and seems stymied. I finally had to call Nissan EV Customer Service who opened a case file on my car and told me the next step is to get an engineer to look at the car. Meanwhile, the service department of the dealer replaced the fan which seems to make the problem less severe but did not completely fix it. When they put in the new fan they broke the vent control on the right side of the dash so it cannot be used. My advice? Get your car serviced somewhere else!

We reached out to Gainesville Nissan after dealing with several unhelpful and difficult dealerships in our local area. From the very first phone call, we were treated with respect and straightforwardness. We traveled from Jacksonville to purchase our new vehicle for this reason. Upon arrival, we were very impressed with the continued professionalism of all staff members. We were directly helped by Brian, Eric, and Blake who were all awesome. We appreciated their laidback, no-pressure personalities that made for a smooth purchasing experience. Brain went the extra mile to find the exact model we were searching for and was able to deliver exactly what we were looking for with ease. Eric and Blake greatly assisted with the process as well. Eric was very knowledgeable about the particular model we purchased and shared his knowledge of all features offered, from the inside out. We appreciated Blakes caring, upbeat personality helping to make the monotonous task of car buying a positive experience. Overall, we definitely recommend Gainesville Nissan hands down. We recently purchased a new 2015 Xterra from here since our prior experience at thsi dealership was very good. At the time of my purchase, I was not informed that a cargo mat and cargo cover were optional. I only discovered I did not have these items when showing my new purchase to family and friends. Who also commented that the Xterra always comes with a first aid kit too. So, after completing a survey, I received a call back regarding my responses. I explained that I felt the service I received was average. I then asked about the items that I did not receive and was then told those are optional and still not given an option to purchase any of them. I also discovered that if you are a Gainesville Health and Fitness member you get discounts. The Dealership will pay your membership for 1 year and $100 under dealer invoice, plus all applicable rebates. None of which was mentioned to me. I will take my business to another dealership.

I used the online application to schedule an oil change and car wash. Specifically, I signed up for an oil change, tire rotation and DETAILED car wash. When they gave me my car back after servicing it, they had only put the car through and automatic car wash (it was still dirty). The service technician showed me the invoice that he had and it was completely different than what I signed up for. The invoice had oil change and quick exterior only car wash, and no tire rotation. I explained that I had signed up for something different and he was completely dismissive, saying that it's not on his invoice so it's not what they serviced. I asked another employee if I could speak to a manager and overheard the manager say "I'm busy, I'll get to her in a minute." He must be real busy because I still haven't seen him.

I use the service department only because it's the closest Nissan dealer to me the advisors are the worse very poor customer service. Every time they wash my car they get into the car with wet feet. The managers are ALWAYS either in a meeting or away so it's very hard to talk to a manager when you have issues. Also to take the car 25' to service they are forever adjusting the seat and ac as if they are going on a comfort trip.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! The first time I had my 2014 Altima serviced here the tire maintenance light came on the next day. I was told it was just a sensor. Ok, no big deal. I started having issues with my key fob and starting my car. The car either says the "Key ID Incorrect" or "Key Fob Not Detected" and I cannot start the car or unlock the doors for several minutes. Imagine how much fun this is in Florida heat with an infant!! Also, the media display often turns completely pink and displays the back up lines regardless of which gear you're in. So I took the vehicle to them Friday April 3, 2015. They tell me right off the bat, the car needs a new battery (that's what''s wrong with the fob). In a 2014 that was bought brand new?? Ummmm....ok. They also said the media display needs to be replaced and the part will be in next week. Now, the tire maintenance indicator is now off. When I get home and take my infant out of the car I notice my passenger hubcap is missing. I have called them four times, left three voicemails, and emailed the manager and no one has answered any of my calls or email. In addition, I get in the car this morning and it won't start because the "Key ID Incorrect". So what did the service department do to my car since the fob wasn't fixed, the battery wasn't replaced, and my hubcap has disappeared? Your guess is as good as mine. And since no one will answer the phone or return messages, I'm going to assume they're all too busy outside using my hubcap to play Frisbee. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! DRIVE TO OCALA, TALLAHASSE, OR EVEN ORLANDO!!!

I drove off the lot today in my brand new 2015 Nissan Sentra all thanks to Elijah Miller, Roger "Doger" Pytko III, and Tim Swayzey. These three wonderful gentlemen made me feel at ease and guided me through the process like professionals. Elijah was very nice and helped me through emails to do what he could to get the process in motion. Roger, who was so willing to help me get a vehicle that he came to my house and picked me up, helped me through all of the paperwork while sharing his friendly personality and clever jokes with me throughout my time at the dealership. Then after most of the paperwork was finished, Tim helped me seal the deal and got me past the final steps to get me on the road. The entire process was fairly quick and I could not be happier! I would definitely recommend Gainesville Nissan to anyone. They will genuinely do whatever it is that they can to help their customers!

Nissan's have been in my family for almost two decades and I absolutely love the cars. However, my car is getting old and I needed to schedule some maintenance. When I called Nissan, the woman who answered seemed like she didn't have time and didn't care about my call. While I was asking her a question, she transferred me to another person which I found extremely rude. When I got through to service they didn't seem much more interested in my call. The first time I talked with them, they transferred me back to the original mean lady. The second time no one answered. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TAKING MY CAR TO THE GAINESVILLE DEALERSHIP FOR MAINTENANCE. TAKE IT TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP!

I went in to get the oil changed in my 2012 Quest S. Mickey Downing is always there, we were talking and he showed me a 2012 Quest SV with 20K LESS miles than my van, plus bells and whistles. We dickered over price, I drove it home overnight, talked to the bank and decided it was too much, so I took it back. With Mickey's help, the price came down to what I could pay, PLUS they switched my almost new Michelin tires onto the "new" van. Mickey has always bent over backwards to help both my daugter and me with two recent car purchases. Should I decide I need another van or car, I will definitely go back to see Mickey Downing at Gainesville Nissan!

I took my Murano here for an oil change and a knocking noise under the hood. I was told the noise was from worn parts and that the front ($325) & rear ($570) motor mounts and the right & left control arms ($850) were in need of replacement. The $1,745 total included 7.5 hours of labor. The labor and tax were not broken down on the estimate. I asked what the hourly labor rate was and was told that it varies depending on the work that is being performed. I called another Nissan dealership which quoted me a lower price for after-market parts. Chris, the service advisor, told me he doesn't recommend after-market parts and agreed to give me a $150 discount. I approved the work at 10:30am and received a message that the car was ready at 3pm. That's 4.5 hours if the mechanic skipped lunch (not likely)! I tried calling back before my wife picked up the car. The receptionist transferred me to voice mail for both the Chris & the Service Manager at least a dozen times. No one returned my call and apparently there is no way to page anyone in service. If you need your Nissan serviced, do not take it here!

I was down on my luck and was in need of a good quality car. I was turned down by my bank and other dealership due to my lack of credit history. I was referred to Gainesville Nissan and as I was parking my car I was greeted by a Mr Mickey Downing, who was an excellent salesman. Ill be honest, my hopes weren't high due to my previous encounters with dealerships but Mr. Downing assured me that he would put me in a nice car with affordable payments and he did just that. He work tirelessly to not only get me approved but to get me in the car I wanted and at a EXTREMELY GOOD rate. If I hadn't came into Gainesville Nissan and met Mr Downing there's no telling what id be driving right now. My hat goes off him and his team.

I recently purchased a Nissan versa. I shopped around at a few dealers in Gainesville and nissian was my last to visit. mickey was the first to greet us .he was very helpful with all our needs and concerns and wasnt pushy like the rest. we spent alot of time at the dealership going back and fouth looking and test driving. Through out the lengthy process micky was there working with us to make sure we didn't just settle and that we were still with in our price range. I recently visited Gainesville Nissan to get my truck serviced, while i was there waiting i started to browse the inventory and was greeted by Micky one of the sales men. I explained to him i was just browsing while I waited. He didn't try to sell me on anything but he did make sure my wait time was as comfortable as he could and continued to check on me while I waited. after talking with the service department i decide to find micky and told him about the repairs , cost, millage and pay off. He set down with me went through some numbers and showed me what my options would be if I wanted to up grade, after viewing the newer trucks and a little negotiating I was able to upgrade to a newer truck without any hassle. Just wanted to say thanks to Micky downing and the rest of the guys at Nissan. will continue to go to nissian for any future issues and would highly recommend them.

We went in with the intentions of helping my mom purchase a new car since she hasn't had one since 1992, she drove home a 2014 Nissan Sentra with an excellent payment and coverage. We had a great experience back in 2012 and didn't bother looking at any other local dealerships. 'Roger Dodger' won us over with his confidence and easy going nature and before we knew it, we were out the door test driving a stunning 2015 Nissan Altima, a step up from out 2012 Nissan Sentra that we traded in. He worked hard crunching numbers to make it possible for us to get a good trade in value for our car which was still in excellent condition with the Xzilon protection; he got the remainder of our warranty paid back and applied to the new loan which certainly helped a lot! And the engine warranty is just unbeatable. He charismatic personality was a huge factor in our purchase and we look forward to coming back to Nissan yet again for a new car. Last week I purchased a new 2015 Nissan Altima from Gainesville, Nissan. My rep was Mickey Downing. I couldn't be more pleased with the level of professional service that I received both before the purchase, during and after the purchase. Mickey was very knowledgable about the car and was a pleasure to work with. He helped me get in the car I wanted near the price I wanted to spend. He assisted me with returning my rental car and followed up with me after I drove my new car off the lot to make sure all was going well. I had a great experiance buying my new Z from them. I went in for a service on my wife's Rouge and started to look around for fun. Mickey, my salesmen understood I was just looking and put no preasure on me. I said I was interested in see something fun and he showed me a Z which rocked my world. I asked if I could trade my wife's car in on it and the rest was history. The salesmanger was profesional listened to me and we cut a complete deal in 1/2 hour. The finance manager was excellent and got me financing better than my credit union. I love the car and better yet when my wife saw her new car come home and not her Rouge she loved it too.

I wanted a new car I could make some adjustments to for a wheelchair lift, and my old one would not work. So I did my research and selected a number of cars to look at. Gainesville Nissan was the 3rd dealership I went to, and I went to 4 more after, but their car (Altima) and price brought me back. I was determine to fiance a Chevy Camaro when I visited Gainesville Nissan but the negative equity on my trade in was causing a few problems with the banks. I was advise why the banks was turning me down and I giving other vehicle options that the banks would have approved but nothing what I wanted however Mr. Roger did what he was able to do and I went home in my pre-owned Camaro. Mr. Roger is an excellent car salesman with an amazing personality very friendly and funny. If it was not for Mr. Roger dedication and loyalty to his job and customers I wouldn't be driving my car. Bought a 2014 Nissan Rogue. I am averaging about 28 MPG. I love it. It is roomy and easy to maneuver. Gainesville Nissan has given me excellent service. I noticed a small paint chip on the hood after I had driven the car home. I called and asked if they could maybe put some filler paint in the chip and they repainted the whole hood. It was awesome and no hassles.

Also we received two decals and registrations in the mail can not get any answers from the dealer final called DMV to get the answers that we needed. Not a very happy customer.

At my daughters urging, I went with her to look at SUV's. She had already been to Gainesville Nissan and talked briefly to Mickey Downing and was impressed with the way he talked to her, even though she was in a hurry. I immediately found him very helpful, he listened to what she needed and why, let her drive the vehicle she was interested in. When it became evident she could not afford that one he showed her a 2010 Nissan Rogue that was slightly older, but only had 25,000 miles (which impressed mom) and which she liked. We looked it over and she decided to try to buy it. At this point the "fun" began. She has limited income and was very specific in what she wanted to pay! The people at the dealership worked tirelessly until we came to an agreement on the price. There was never any pressure on her, which I appreciated! They seemed to understand that she meant what she said. Then we started trying to finance, one place only wanted to finance in my name, but it is her car, so thanks to Jim Brown in Finance, he worked until he arranged the financing in both names, but, with her as primary. The car had just come into the dealership, had not even been cleaned up, so they did a beautiful job of cleaning it up and making it look like a "new" car. She is very proud of her purchase. We were very happy with our experience and will be going back. In fact, I have a 2012 Nissan Quest purchased from a different dealership which will be coming to Gainesville Nissan for service in the future also.

I had bought a Nissan and soon after suffered a total loss. I immediately filed all proper documents to insure the loan was taken care of. Then I purchased my second Nissan. The total loss destroyed my credit, thus preventing me from buying a new home and leaving me in complete distress because I was not given much assistance from the dealership, Total Warranty Services, or NMAC. These three groups were not actively assisting me. I would constantly be redirected, placed on hold, and then told they would call back and yet they never did. It is challenging to try and solve this problem when I have no one willing to communicate with me. I have been extremely patient over the past 3 months and yet I have still not met a resolution.

We had been researching used cars for 2-3 weeks. When we arrived at the dealership to view one specific SUV, we were told it was not there and the Internet sales guys weren't there every day so sometimes things aren't updated instantly...well what about three weeks? Of course, the other two SUV that we had mild interest in we're also not there. The salesman proceeded to sit down at a computer and pull up his own website to view inventory...something he could not even navigate (we had to show him the buttons to push). In this day and age, what company can't update their website for three weeks? Answer...a bad one.

At the end of summer my husband and I decided to upgrade our Nissan Altima for the newer version 4dr (we traded in the coupe). Our sales guy was magnificent, very friendly but overall knowledgeable when it came to Nissan products etc. The process was lengthy but pleasant and the finance person was friendly and easy to work with. After about a month of having the car we noticed that the car had a leak in the floor and the carpet was soaked. We took the car to the dealership in hopes to find out what was going on with the car and hopefully get it repaired with no issues. Our service advisor was less than helpful and the service technician didn't know what he was doing and we had to go and talk to him personally about the carpet being wet etc. for them and the lead technician to understand the problem. We were then told that we needed to leave the car for at least a week because the entire carpet needed to be replaced and they also needed to find the leak and fix it. They rented a car for us and we trusted that the problem was going to be fixed. After about a week the car was ready for pickupwhen we got there we were told that the car had two leaks on the floor (which were fixed) and the carpet had been replacedno problems so farwhen they returned the car to us not only the car was filthy inside and out but several parts inside the car were broken and scratch know have in mind this was a month old car so needless to say we were extremely upsetwe talked with the service manager who assured us that they could fix all that and also told us how sorry they were. We agreed on having all these things repaired at no cost to us of courseafter we took the car home the same day we noticed more things scratched and damaged so the next day I decided to take it back to them and let the manager know to which his response to me was "You are scrutinizing your car, any car is going to have scratches no matter how new"to me that was like a slap in the face considering that was NOT how we delivered the car to them and NOT how we expected the car to be returned to us. After about a week or so of waiting for the parts they replaced them and apologized for the inconvenience once againat this point it was too latethe customer service had been bad, they damaged a brand new car and made me feel like I was too critical. We left several messages for Michael Ferro the dealer's manager to which he never responded and we also submitted a complaint directly to Nissan.After this ordeal we DO NOT recommend their service dept., very poor management and poor quality of service NOT to mention how they DO NOT respect your personal property!

Buying a car from Gainesville Nissan was the worst experience ever. The salesman was okay, but the managers and all other people have been the rudest people I have ever dealt with. We would leave messages and no one would ever call. Every time we did finally speak to someone they would pass the buck to someone else to deal with. It took a month for them to send the payoff of my trade in vehicle to the bank. Every time we would talk to someone they would say it was taken care of or it is my bank not doing what they needed to do to get the loan finalized. After going back and forth with the bank and Gainesville Nissan it was brought to my attention that Nissan had filed our paperwork away and never finished up the loan with the bank. The customer service really stinks!!!! We took another car in to see what was wrong with it. They wanted us to pay $600 to repair things that weren't even broken. The worst thing is we bought the car from them 6 months previous! We took it for a second opinion and found out that Nissan had lied about things being broke. Wasn't a thing wrong with it!

Calvin was the first to greet me and immediately understood what I wanted in a car and never pressured me into anything other than what I wanted. Calvin was so hospitible; I felt like I was dealing with someone I had known my whole life. From the purchase with Calvin to the Finance dept where I met Jim, it was one of the easiest transactions I have ever had. Jim is a hoot and serious at the same time and again I felt I had met another family member. Everyone in the store was so genuine from the customer service person, to the title folks, and the service dept. Calvin called the previous owner for me so I felt more comfortable about purchasing the car so I could ask them questions. After the purchase a few days later, Calvin called me to let me know he had followed up with the previous owner and asked if she had a spare remote to the car and she had brought it by the store for me. You could tell that these people really like each other and want to help each other out for the good of the customer. These people just earned our family vehicle work for all of our cars from the oil changes to the serious stuff.

I Bought my 2013 Nissan Versa brand new off the lot. I was so excited, my first new car. Six months later its has real bad sucking of wind coming thru the back doors " that they tell me that it is coming from the mirrors". It is has a shifting problem, That they tell me nothing is wrong but if you don't have your seat belt on you are going to eat the steering wheel. They have replace the heat shield twice, first time it came off driving down the interstate second time at 7 months my husband removed it when it started making noises, now this will be the third time the heat shield will have to be replace at 8 months.In the mean time i took it to another dealer ship and they fixed the doors with new seals that GAINESVILLE, would not fork out the money to fix and told me there was nothing wrong...They are also checking the transmission. I will not buy anything else from them. I have been waiting for 7 weeks for the manager from the dealer ship to call me after leaving 4 messages. Do you think they have returned my call NO! Then they say please don't give me a bad review cause if you do i want get paid... I really don't care anymore.

I received wonderful customer service from Evertt Young. I came in looking for a used car but Mr. Young explained that a newer vehicle could provide the warrenty that wasn't availble in a used car. He also provided insight on rebates that were available to me as a recent grad. I would invite anyone to give Mr. Young and the staff at Gainesville Nissan an opprotunity to show them the options they have available.

The salesman my wife and I worked with was great but the "Fleet Manager" pretty much ran me off because we were not ready to buy that day. He was dismissive and condescending. Unfortunately for his salesman, we are no longer considering this dealership.
