Could not believe how quick and wonderful everything was! We were toward the end of our lease and my husband went in just to have the car checked and to see what our next step would be, the very next day we had a new car!! It was great! I recommend you see Chaz Goodman who is professional, courteous, very knowledgeable, and no pressure. I was trying to decide between the different models, and Chaz took his time to explain the features. I had very little paperwork to deal with as it was all taken care of by Chaz and Paul Hoffman. The car at delivery exceeded my expectations. Chaz showed me how all the features work and set up my phone to sync with the audio. I just Love my new Civic!!

My husband and I went into Friendly Honda on the hunt for a new used minivan... We had previously been to a different area dealership and had a very bad taste in our mouth. Upon arrival at Friendly Honda our experience started to change from bad to amazing, we were greeted with a friendly hello and offered beverages. Our sales rep Peter Arvanetes was helpful, knowledgeable, very kind and the number one quality honest from the get go. He helped us pick the van that suited our needs without any hassle. I walked in there just to check out my options for a new car. The sales associate took the time to find out exactly what we wanted and needed rather than sell me to most expensive. I actually thought I needed a larger car but after we looked at the floor samples a smaller SUV was perfect for our needs. Everyone helped with the accessories that would be best for me and worked with me financially. That was so refreshing! I even went home to measure to make sure the car would fit in our garage because we had recently made a modification and the length was less than standard. I would tell all my friends to check out Friendly Honda before they bought anywhere else.

I worked with Justin Tomasulo, and my experience at Friendly Honda is always positive, and pleasant experience. The Sales Team is wonderful. I truly enjoy working with the sales Team. I drive from Brooklyn, NY, which is a two hour ride. But i would rather drive 2 hours to get that service then sit in our local deal and be schmoozed to buy a car. They are very honest and i have never been forced to buy a vehicle. I have never received that type of service at any Honda dealership in the Tri-State area. I would recommend the trip up to Friendly for positive buying experience.

First of let me start by saying thank you to Tom Muff. I came into the dealership looking for a Honda Civic Si but had very little hope I would get one. I explained to Tom of my poor credit and usually that would make a sales rep not even care anymore because obviously the sale most likely would not happen. But Tom maintained a extremely professional attitude and even checked a found a Si that was $4000 less in price. Within 1 hour I was committed to purchasing a vehicle. Carlos secured us a great deal, as well as the car which was not an easy feat with these cars being new and limited quantities hitting dealerships. We had worked with them, and another Honda dealership. Carlos not only answered all of our questions, but worked hard at getting us to where we needed to be with our payments. Coming into a dealership the last thing that you want is to be pressured by a salesman. The atmosphere at Friendly Honda was professional and made the entire process very easy, despite the amount of steps that need to be taken in order to complete the purchase.I entered the dealership around noon and left with a car later that day. I thanked Rick for making the process so easy. I have never been more comfortable with a salesman in my life then I was with Rick. There is always the anxiety that there will be high pressure when you go to a car dealership. I brought my son here to purchase his first car. We had been to 3 other dealerships before Friendly and had a horrible experience at each of those. We felt lied to, like we were given the run around and felt like because he was purchasing a lower priced, used car, they had no interest in helping us. As soon as we walked into Friendly Honda, we were treated like gold. We were introduced to Tom Muff, who knew exactly what he was doing, respected our budget, and was very genuine about wanting to find the perfect car for my son. Anyone would be crazy not to go to Tom when looking to purchase a vehicle. He is a gem! When we picked the car we wanted, we dealt with Colin for financing. Colin has got to be the most respectful, knowledgeable, and polite finance manager I've ever met. We didn't feel talked down to, bullied, or disrespected the way we have at so many other dealerships. Colin got my son financed with the monthly payment amount that we had told him we wanted from the start. That is unheard of because usually a finance manager will get you financed but bully you into a higher monthly payment. Colin is serious about his job and making sure his customers are happy and set up for success. We will never go to another dealership for any of our vehicle purchases. As a matter of fact, my husband and I are now purchasing a vehicle from Friendly with Tom. Friendly is so lucky to have Tom and Colin!

I went in needing to relinquish my leased civic halfway through the life of the lease and buy a crv. There were so many complications in my circumstances and each time a new problem arose, my sales associate, Peter Arvanetes, and finance manager, Colin O'brien, seriously worked so hard to resolve the situation in my favor. I almost cried when I was handed the keys to my CRVSE and I definitely did pass on a handshake but hugged Peter at the end of the process! We came to Friendly Honda after going to 4 other dealerships in the area and not being successful at any one of them. When we arrived at Friendly Honda Peter Arvanetes went above and beyond our expectation of a car salesman. We had a bad experience with a previous purchase we made at Healey Chevrolet where the salesman there took advantage of us and gave us a very bad deal and bad truck. Peter was able to offer us more than any other dealership for the trade in on the truck and find us an awesome car that fit our needs perfectly. Jim in finance also was very helpful and spent a lot of time finding us the best interest rate and plan that fit into our budget. This was my second lease from Friendly Honda. Laura Sterling is awesome!! Each time I came in I told her what I wanted and what my price range was and she delivered both times! The first time was in 2012 where she helped honor a deal that was featured in NJ and even came in on her day off to deliver my first car with Friendly. This time I told her I waned a similar deal but upgraded a bit. I got all the "pizzazz" (bells and whistles) I wanted for this car. I'm only paying a $40 difference from my previous lease. I wanted a the blue 2015 Civic EX, but they didn't have any in their inventory. My only choice was blue, and she made sure we had the blue one in a few days... 2 days in matter of fact. She also kept great contact through the deals on status. The finance guy named Paul was extremely friendly and helpful as well. I would highly recommend Friendly Honda (and I always do) to anyone who wants a quality car with a staff who wants to get you the car you want and can afford. It felt like they wanted me to have one of their cars and was going to do everything they could to get me in one. That's not always how it's been with other car dealers I've dealt with in the past. They will always get my business with this kind of service!

I had broken my ankle the day before I was going in to sign the paperwork for my new car. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. My initial salesman was busy with another customer when I got there and the others helped me so that I wasn't stuck waiting around while in pain. They worked together as a real team. The next day Carlos, my original salesman, called me up to see how I was doing and to make sure everything went well with the purchase and pick up.

When you have an excellent product, there is no need for high pressure sales...just let the product sell itself. That's just what Friendly (and Danielle) did. Other dealerships have the sales person riding along, going through their sales pitch while you are test driving the car. Danielle gave us the keys, said take all the time you want and be sure to take it out on the highway. After the test drive, we did a little dickering and arrived at fair price. I am very happy with the car snd the buying experience.

I saw a Honda HRV on line and thought it checked off box on my new vehicle wish list. It is a small SUV with excellent safety, great gas mileage, and all wheel drive- with a 5 star safety rating. I wanted the safest car possible to drive my long distance to work every day, and to transport my precious cargo- my kids, ages 8 and 13. I loved the Honda HRV the minute I sat in it. My sales man Larry was knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely personable. I walked into the dealership at 11:30am and was driving home in my new car at 5pm. Chaz was full of information (and if he didn't know something, he made sure he found out before we walked away from the demo car!) and he was no-pressure. In a weeks time I went from holding this dealership in high regard to never wanting to set foot in it again. The service department lies to cover simple little mistakes by their technicians. To make a long story short, the tech got dog food in my a/c ducts while changing the air filter. Rather than simply cleaning it, he pretended not to know. when I picked up the car I could not use the a/c on an 89 degree day. I called to complain less than a mile down the road. The following week I returned to have them remove it. They then told me I had refused to have it removed the day I was there!! Really? I spent over $900 replacing four tires when I only needed one but refused to pay $57 'knowing' there was dog food in the a/c? It's illogical! I paid the $57 and demanded a refund of the $500 deposit I had left to purchase another car. They lost a repeat car buyer ,rather than admit a simple tech mistake and a $57 fix! How do they handle significant issues these days? Is owning ford too spreading them too thin?

Friendly Honda has gone totally down hill. This last week I was lied to repeatedly by their service department and then by a salesman. During a simple air filter change the tech apparently got dog food into my air conditioning system and left it there. Then when I called to complain not five minutes after leaving, they acted like it was my fault. Since I was unable to use the AC any longer, I was forced to return to them again. At that time I was told that I had refused to have the dog food removed and pay the $57. Really? I bought four tires when I needed only one and spent over $900 that day, but refused to have the dog food I allegedly knew was in the ducts removed for $57...on an 87 degree day with high humidity...seriously?? After having bought several cars from them I will buy my new one next week from someone else! Two weeks ago I would have told you they were the best dealership in Dutchess County, but I guess all the best people must have gone to Ford. Very sad!

We have been going to Friendly Honda for many, many years and have typically not had many problems. However, over the last couple of visits the service has gone down tremendously. No surprise they haven't received an award in many years. We recently went to renew a lease and our sales person and the finance person were so incredibly rude and condescending to us. The way they spoke to use was as though they were speaking to children when all we did was simply ask to see the lump sum split out so we can see what all the fees were. Not an unreasonable request. If they didn't screw you with a fee for not bringing your lease back there, I would never get my honda from them again. I LOVE Honda's - but would choose another dealership in a heartbeat. It was even worse when we went to take delivery on the vehicle. The condescension and pretentiousness never ended. The worst customer service we've ever received there and anywhere else. Go to another dealership for your honda.

Went last month to look at a used crv for my daughter. Car needed some maintenance, test drive revealed tire noise (car had snow tires on it). Spoke to male and female salespeople and a manager for two days. Female salesperson not willing to be flexible on price. No call back from salesman for followup. Guess that they want that car to sit on their lot rotting away (car is still on their lot today and price went up by $1,000). There are better car dealers out there that are flexible and are willing to work out a fair deal with a customer; this is not one of them. A competitor of theirs, Atlantic Honda on Long Island, outsells these guys because they will work on deals: that is why they are successful. BTW, bought a better cuv for a lot less at another car place.

A low-pressure, insightful presentation provided me with useful information, but what sold me was the car itself, and the reasonable price. I have just bought my 3rd Honda from Friendly Honda, and I bought a Honda specifically because I wish to continue with this dealership. I have experience with 2 other-brand dealerships in the area (husband's cars), and do not wish to deal with either of them again. I researched cars of the body-type and transmission I wanted, and there were 3 or 4 options available, but Friendly Honda was my choice because I'm familiar with their business ethic. Friendly Honda people are genuinely helpful, they always provide a loaner when I need one, and they have even solved a surprise problem within a few minutes of when I drove in, so that I was hardly inconvenienced at all. The sales representatives are friendly and not at all pushy, offer advice when asked, but don't try to sell me something I don't want. When I came in 2 years ago to discuss buying a car, Papa Mbaye spent most of an afternoon with me, and then I didn't buy at that time. When I definitely wanted to buy, this year, I knew which salesman I wanted to talk to!

After some really awful experiences at other dealers, I was pleasantly surprised to find Friendly Honda's unrushed, straightforward, no-nonsense approach towards me. Chaz Goodman was extremely knowledgeable about his products, and patiently either answered my questions, or went off to get a correct answer no matter what I asked. When I felt I was ready to buy, the process was as easy and Chaz and Brian, the financial officer, walked me through every step, no surprises. The accessory and service options were explained to me, but I felt zero "up-sell" pressure. The car was prepped and ready for pick-up the same day. If only all dealers were like Chaz and the Friendly team!
