Friendly Ford is rightly named! Everyone I have ever met here have been very welcoming. When I bring my car in for an oil change or maintenance, the service has been spectacular! Ronald Eling and the rest of the team does a fantasitic job! Friendly Ford never tries to sell me on maintenance I dont need, like other companies do. Though it has been eight years since I bought my Ford Fusion from here, which I love, I certainly will be a return customer in future!

This was my first experience with Friendly Ford. This is a new job for me so I wanted to have my ford dealer close to my work, this way I can drop my car off and pick it up later. Friendly not knowing me from adam and getting me in right away and taking me to my place of work. Then they called me with an update on how things were going with my car and picked me up when my car was done. I would highly recommend this dealer to my friends and family. They got the car in and out quickly for my oil change, and topped everything off. Reasonable pricing, especially when you factor in their rewards system. They are very straight forward with anything and don't force anything on you that isn't necessary.

Carstar did an awesome job with my repair, but there choice of rental car service is horrible. First I waited over an hour for pick up then enterprise says here's a free upgrade for your wait. I'm feeling better about the wait, but then when I return the car they wanted to charge me for the upgrade. To sum it up make other arrangements for a rental if you take your car there.

I simply drove to this dealer, entered the quick lane and warmly greeted by Ms. Fantasia. I asked for the service and inspection promotion, I had no appointment and received immediate attention. The service was completed and a recommended repairs list generated. A consultation by Scott, their service technical adviser followed. I applied my rewards dollars I had accumulated from previous service visits and brought the promotion cost down even lower. I took my Edge in for routine maintenance and for a recall. I was met promptly at the service door by Dominique when I drove up. She was friendly and knowledgeable. I was kept informed of my car's needs by Scott with understandable explainations and the time it would take to complete. I did not feel uncomfortable asking questions and asking for clarifications. I never look forward to needing service just like I don't like to go to the dentist, but Friendly Ford made it a positive experience.

On 9-10-2016 my 2011 Ford Escape stated running very poorly and a check engine light (wrench) came on. I showed up at Friendly Ford at 7:30am on Monday 9-12-2016 without appointment. Steve Vihnanek checked me in and I explained problem plus I told him I think I need brakes and oil change. I told him I would like to wait and he said no problem. A short time later Kathie Fitzpatrick (Service Advisor) came in and said engine part that broke was under Ford Recall and would be replaced very quickly no charge and she also said I did not need brakes yet and they would check again at next oil change. I was given my car back all fixed in less than 90 minutes. I could not believe this could happen so fast without appointment. I was sure if I went to a different dealer I would be waiting much longer and would also had brakes done because I had asked not because I needed it. I would not take my vehicle to anyone else. Kathie has always taken care of my vehicle and always had my best interests in mind. Best place for service.

My 2012 Ford Focus suddenly developed a problem and Ron made an appointment as quickly as possible for me. I am a senior but still working every day and I need my car so I was not only worried about not having transportation but also about cost! I was given a lift home by a very polite young man and he offered to transport me to work if necessary. Ron kept me informed of the progress of the testing etc. I informed him how worried I was ahout the cost and he assured me that he would check with regard to the warranty. By mid-afternoon I was able to pick up my car and there was NO charge!! I cannot tell you how grateful I am. Ron and you staff were outstanding.Thank you!!

I have had a recall for my airbag for over a year and have been waiting for parts. After continous calls to Joe Cotton and not getting any results we tried Friendly Ford. Yes they fixed the problem but the drivers side of my car had black stuff all over it. The roof on drivers side has a greasey hand print on it. They never reset the date and time on the car. I expected more. It was my first time bringing my car in for service. Disappointed !

He wrote my ticket, and worked with me to get my problem diagnosed and ultimately repaired. Scott was friendly, and provided service above and beyond the normal service visit. Over the time I've worked with Friendly Ford, Scott has been helpful beyond normal expectations. He is a joy to deal with, even when you get a larger than expected bill. First class service experience, and great follow-up on this visit.

I Believe overall Ford did a good job on my car, but the only flaw was when I saw that they cracked the inside of my door. I'm sure it was an accident, but one of the main reasons I am giving a 100% EXCELLENT across the board is because they didn't argue about it. The manager on duty that day came to the car to look at it and said we will order you a new one and correct our mistake. I alter called in to see if they received the part and spoke to Jake. And he said it should be in April 16th and to call back to verify.Thank you Ford for being professional and putting customers first. I wil definitely recommend you to my family and friends.

I took my car in on Saturday morning for a lube oil and filter. Before they did the LOF, they looked over my car, and found something that will affect the safety of my vehicle, and let me know about it. There were a number of things that should be taken care of, and I explained that I could not afford to have the work completed at this time. They numbered the most important things that really need to be taken care of, and told me what can be done at a later time. I never would have found out about this if I had taken my car to Jiffy Lube.

I took my car in for a recall and when talking with Raphael he mentioned the need for some body work that we sustained in a recent car accident. He mentioned that the body shop worked with the insurance company doing the work so that I didn't need to have any further contact with the insurance company that was paying for the repairs. Then my contact with Paul the body shop estimator was great and smooth to be able to handle all the preliminary estimates over the phone and have them look at my car while it was there for the recall anyway.

Bill Cotton, is the man. He made this whole process happen with a speed and ease that removed the usual stress and struggle that is normally associated with auto service and maintenance. I had been experiencing an issue where my Ford Focus would jolt when it was shifting, it felt like being in a manual transmission car with a first time driver, all the time. I brought it in, Bill took a looked it up in the system found that the clutches were part of a Ford recall, ordered them no problem; I was in and out. The only hiccup in the process was that the parts were backordered 6-8 weeks. However, sure enough Bill called back 7 weeks later, had an opening in the schedule that day. I was at work that day but he assured me they'd have a rental available for me to take as soon as I dropped it off. The hand-off was quick, I was able to go about my day without any trouble and had my Focus back the next day, she's been running smooth ever since. Thank you, Bill.

My wife and I have always been pleased with the quality professional service provided at Friendly Ford. This time was no different. When dropping off our Explorer for routine oil change and service there was a small back up in the drop off area. One of the mechanics came out and said it would be a couple of minutes and asked if I had time to wait or if I had to leave. This was beyond his duties I think. It was only a matter of a couple of minutes and the service writer got to me. The employees here always greet you with a smile and are courteous. They always take the time to answer any questions and alert to you to future service areas that might need to be addressed. They certainly live up to their name of "Friendly".

I was having severe issues for almost a week with a different dealership. Called friendly and spoke with Matt and explained my situation about a bad fuel leak and about how long my vehicle was sitting at the other dealer untouched. Matt advised me to bring my vehicle by them and they would try to get my vehicle asap. Towed my vehicle to friendly they received it at 1:30 pm got a phone call at 2:30 pm same day and was told they found out why and what was causing my fuel leak. I was advised that the part was special order and that my truck would be done on Friday and sure enough my truck was done on Friday. Can not be any happier with this dealership.

As you can not really see a alignment I trust they did a great job. Scott got me out of there in less time than was quoted which was a big plus. My but concerns your wanting to charge me to investigate a noise (Creaking sound when braking). I have been a customer fro many years and almost always do whatever is recommended. In this case the problem could be something simple and I thought you would at least check it out. I declined to pay an investigative fee.

We brought our newly purchased used 2013 Ford to Friendly for service and an additional day was required to obtain the parts necessary. I called at the end of the second day expecting to find out our total amount due, only to be told that they would need to keep the car a third day. We never received a call from the Service Department explaining that a third day would be necessary nor were we asked if that would be a problem. Being without a car that third day was going to be a problem, however everyone in the service department had left for the day and there was no one I could speak with about our transportation problem. I was transferred to the Quick Oil Change technician who assured me there was nobody there that could help me, I asked for a general manager, no luck there either. I was transferred to the Sales Manager who actually helped me by lending us a used vehicle for the next day. Thankfully someone was concerned about a customer. When we picked up our car there were no paper carpet protector mats in place and we had oil/grease smudges on the carpet. It's the details and poor communication which prompted our less than stellar report. The car was properly serviced and the broken a/c was fixed, I'll give them that much. I guess I'm used to the top notch service we've received at Woodfield Lexus and were disappointed here.

Brought my F-350 for new brake pads and rotors. My windshield got an unreparable crack the same day. The guys at the dealership called for me to have somebody come out and replace it while they worked on the brakes. Thorough inspection showed that there was a leak in the radiator. The service technician personally sat with me and explained the issues he came across and discussed options I had under my extended warranty. Terrific positive attitude from everybody.

My service advisor Scott promptly greeted me as soon as I drove in the service area I told him I was there because my brake lights were on and low brake fluid message on the dash I explained the problem he wrote it up and showed me to the waiting area and offered coffee, he did not just dump me there to wonder what was happening, he came in often to keep me updated on the status of the vehicle inspection, came back with the written estimate and pricing and went over the findings, and pricing of each item, there were a couple of major safety issues that were found during inspection that needed immediate attention, when I needed more info he went and got it for me, since it would take several hours to repair I opted to go home and come back later, Scott arranged for a ride to the Metra station for me so I would not have to walk. When it came time to pickup the car I was pleasantly surprised to find out my car was being washed for me. Friendly Ford has a top level service dept., and Scott is the best. I appreciated the ride to the train, the car wash and most of all the entire vehicle inspection because without it the ball joints, found to be a safety concern during inspection, could have failed and caused injury to me, severe damage to the car or caused an accident,

I had just purchased my vehicle. I had cleaned it myself then brought it in for an oil change...When they were finished they brought my car up front and the kid who cleaned it drove thru a puddle of clay ish looking dirt and was all up the passenger side of my car. After i left i had to go home and re rewash my car. not what i expected from my first experiance at a dealership and 40 bucks for an oil change was a lil steep considering how they gave me my car back.

I had one item that I was hoping would be a warranty issue but was warned before hand that it might not be and wouldn't know until they got into it Communication and explanation of the consequences was excellent. Unfortunately I bought my Ford at another dealer closer to my house and when I called to schedule an appointment as my Sync Screen wasn't working they told me it was 2 weeks before they could get me in. I called Kathy at Friendly and she was super friendly, knowledgable and helpful! She scheduled me for the next day and even solved a tire issue that I was having. I never write reviews but I was so pleased with the service that I received at this dealer that I felt I must make sure it is known.I have a new F150 and was having transmission problems. I went to several dealers and most did not want to even deal with my problem. I was told that I should go back to the dealer where it was purchased, and even that dealer did not want to take on the transmission problem. Matt Yockey at Friendly Ford had to be the most proffessional service person I have dealt with in a long time. He was very knowledgeable and friendly on the phone and took care of all of the problems very timely. His communication throughout the process was great. I will definitley be using this dealer for my service needs in the future and will recommend them to friends and family in the future.
