I made deal to lease a new Acura MDX, Sales lady Lauren who was very sweet went and and forth with manager to make deal happen. However, i was in first a week ago and was told if put new tires on my trade, the trade in will be higher., which it was. Then they gave me updated numbers this past Saturday, which weren't good. Then Monday morning last day of month, they notify me while at work, to take deliver tonight if i want MDX and gave better lease price. Only problem is i had to make deal at night, when im tired being up all day. And i told them this earlier in morning. So i got to dealer,and my sister who also met me there, said seat was too small so i didnt take car. However, that wasn't only reason. I was annoyed that they asked me to put on new tires which i have to pay for when credit card comes in, on top of security deposit for lease. yet add stated security deposit waived, which dealer failed to do. It turns out seat was OK. i contacted dealer this morning, and they ignored anything i had to say. And they are Friendly Acura?

I was looking for a 2017 RDX AWD w/Advance Pkg in white diamond pearl with a parchment interior. Our local Acura dealer did not have one and did not know when they would get one. They wanted $500 to locate a car for me. Went to acura.com and searched within 100 miles and found 5 available at 4 dealers. Sent email to all. Friendly responded within minutes with a great price and in less than an hour I had a deposit on my car. Received an email from Friendly's business mgr with delivery options to review including videos before picking up my car. Also, all paperwork was prepared ahead of time which made everything so easy. We had an appointment to pick up the car, Our sales person was with a customer and the business mgr was a little behind but other employees stepped up to offer us refreshment, showed us my car and installed my license plates. This was the most straight forward, easiest car purchase of my life.

I was searching for a nice Acura TL for our grandson on the net & after seeing a few cars in NJ & the Bronx, decided not to deal with them as they were either trying to hit us with hidden fees or their cars were in poor shape, high mileage & not as described. Found a '07 TL listed here & submitted my information. A few minutes later my phone rang - This is Rich S. from Feders Acura. I said Rich S? Do you know who I am? Rich G?. he asked. I said "Paladin". Rich said come down & we'll make you a great deal. I happen to know Rich for many years from my business & told him that I would be there that afternoon. My grandson was not with us , but he gave me carte blanch to find him the right car as I have been in the business for over 20 years & if we could get this car within his budget. I e-mailed him the link to the car & he said - Go for it! My wife & I arrived & I examined the car & then I test drove it - A WINNER! We sat down & figured the right price & wrote the deal. My grandson picked up the car yesterday & was much more than pleased with his new TL. While we were waiting to pick up the car I chatted with the GM, the owner & the finance mgr. (all great guys). These guys are 100% professional & know how to properly run their business. Weather you know someone in this business or not - This is a true first class dealership & I would highly recommend it to anyone! Haven't had the car service there yet, but from all I hear their service is some of the best in the area. In a nutshell: 1) Good inventory - both new & used. 2) Their honesty & respect. 3) Very fair pricing & honest financing 4) I prefer to deal local & want my business & tax dollars to stay here.

I generally like to use a local business for sevrice but this is one time where I have to go else where. When my husband and I were looking for a pre-owned SUV we discovered this dealership. The quality of the cars were not good and we ended up buying our car at another dealer. They did not seem to really care about the quality of the pre-owned vehicles and it was a turn off for us.. Happy I found what I was looking for at another Acura dealer. However I thought I would use the dealership for service. The first few times I took my car their the servcie seemed fine. However I recently went in after getting a coupon card for a summer special to have oil change, inspection and etc. for $59. I thought this was a great deal.. When I got my car back it was not washed as per the coupon. I was a bit annoyed at this as it was part of the coupon.. Then my frustration got worse when I drove my car home and had a horrible trembling in my tires. I was not able to turn around that day to have it looked at so I made another appointment to come back. I was told not to drive my car and I am very fortunate to have another vehicle that I can use. When I brought my car back the service person acted like I inconvenienced them for their crappy work. My tires were so unbalanced it was ridiculous. My car was still no washed and I got an attitude from the service person when I made the inquiry. I also find it very insulting that customers have to pay for refreshments and snacks. I would never expect this from a luxury car dealership. I owned Lexus vehicles before and never experienced have to pay for refreshments or not having my car washed. Even the Nissan dealer on 17K offers refreshments. Needless to say my car still did not drive a 100% and I took it to Honda. When they ran the balance check only the fron was balanced and the back was grossly off.. Unfortunately this dealership will not be seeing me or my vehicle again.. My suggestion to them is don't advertise services that you are not going to provide especially if you don't want to be reported to the better business board.

I would highly recommend Feders Acura. I dealt with Joseph Gil and he went above & beyond to, get me in the price range I wanted. I would highly recommend him if you are planning on purchasing a vehicle from Feders, just because of the experience I had w/ him. And I will admit, I'm very picky & I knew exactly what I wanted. Please don't get me wrong... Every emloyee at Feders Acura was extremely professional & very friendly from the moment I walked in. But normally when I go into a dealership they overwhelm you the minute you walk in. Then make me feel pressured to purchase a vehicle. I did not get that feeling at all. I was very comfortable plus, I am extremely happy and satisfied with my overall experience, especially & the price. I did my research and priced my vehicle at many other dealers. I was in the market for a pre-owned car and just happened to stop by Feders, they had one car that caught my eye. After test driving the car my Fiance and I went inside to look at the figures, we had two cars to trade in as the down payment.They initially offered us decent prices for our trades but weren't really willing to budge on the car price.I told him where i wanted the payments to be and how long i was willing to take out a loan for (five years).Its not like we were asking for $5,000 off, we just needed about a $1,000 to put us around the numbers we needed. We ended leaving that day and doing some research on the car, we found the same car similar mileage around the same price or a little less however they were about 2 hours away. We called Joe back about two weeks later to see if we could work something out,he told us to come in(which is about 1 Hour away) and he would do everything he could and stated "we will still honor the trade in prices that we gave you". We initially went to Feders on Dec 17th and two weeks later put us into the new year.So we drove out to Feder's and sat down at the desk Joseph told us the value of our trades went down 1000 a piece because they are now another year older however the price of the car they were selling did not go down in value at all even though it too was now another year older. We decided this was not the dealership for us thanked Joesph for his time and left. Later my fiance received a very unprofessional and really un necessary email from Joesph saying that it wasn't his fault that we refused to finance for 6 years and that our trades went down in price, the price of the trades "is what it is".I will Never go back to Feders I would rather drive 2 hours away if needed to buy an Acura.THE POINT TO THIS REVIEW IS THAT THEY ARE VERY DECEIVING AND THINK THAT THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH WHATEVER THEY WANT BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONLY ACURA DEALER IN THE AREA.

I found the staff, espcially Brian Larkin, very courteous, helpful and prompt. All my questions were answered and I did not feel "hounded" as I do at most car dealerships. I also think the car helped sell itself, but Brian made the experience enjoyable, not a hassel. He is a true gentleman! This is our second Acura with Feder's and Joe Krupp. We were recommended by a dealer in Brooklyn who we had leased several cars ( not Acura ) before. My first Acura RL was purchased in 2005. The car was sold to me by Brian the friendly car salesman. Since my 2005's purchase, it was serviced exclusively at Feder's Acura for over 7 years & 165,000 miles. The service department at Feder's is wonderful. Chris Sampieri is always friendly, helpful, and gives you an appointment that works with your schedule. The car is always ready when promised.When I went to bring my 2005 in for service on May 9, 2012, I did not see myself walking out with a new car. My husband accompanied me to the service department, and before he let me drop it off, we "looked" around. I was dropping the car off because my screen that displays everything went black. The car was also developing a shake that, I feel, was never going to go away, no matter how many times you tried to fix it.So, seven years later, helpful, friendly Brian the car salesman is still with Acura :). To be honest, there is no other car out there, that has turned my head, that made me shop around. I bought a 2012 Acura RL in a different color. This time Graphite. The best part is, the car has hardly changed. Some things have been reversed in position, but you adapt.So that is why I bought another Acura RL & from Feder's Acura.

I had purchased a 2009 MDX and was very satisfied.Any time I had service performed my car came back spotless.The service manager could not be more helpful.When I traded my MDX for a 2012 MDX Brian was great.He programed all the necessary toys which was neat.When I had a question referencing one of the accessories Jim was kind enough to help me out. I would recommend this dealership to everyone I know. It is a pleasure to come to the showroom and deal with pleasant people. Your service department is also knowledgeable and very helpful. Bought a so called certified 2010 Acura MDX from this dealership. Not long after taking possession of the vehicle the left rear tire kept getting low so I took it to Firestone where I was told that the tire had a plug installed in it that was leaking. When I called our salesman Ian at Feder's to tell him about it I was treated like he could care less! "What do you expect me to do" is what I was told. Inspect your vehicles a little more closely especially one's that your dealership is classifying as CERTIFIED is what I expect you to do Ian and take responsibility. If you are selling a vehicle as CERTIFIED put a new set of tires on it or at least make sure that someone inspects the tires. These particular tires cost me $265.00 for one tire which I personally think Feder's should have paid for since the vehicle was sold as a CERTIFIED VEHICLE!!! I didn't damage the tire and if I was I would have taken responsibility for doing so. I thought going to Feder's Acura would be different experience than dealing with the hundreds of other sleazy dealerships in the area but I was wrong and this confirms it, Feder's is just another sleazy Orange County dealership that only cares about the sale and getting the vehicle off their lot!!! Our family loves our MDX but one thing I know for sure is that I won't be going back to Feder's to purchase my next one!!!

I was in the market for a pretty rare pre-owned 2008 Acura TL Type-S. It is a very limited market, and it didn't help my chances of finding the perfect car given that I wanted extremely low miles, a like-new vehicle, and one of 3 acceptable colors.I did some searching of Acura's certified pre-owned inventory, and came up with approximately 8 vehicles in the entire northeast (mostly NY and NJ) that met my criteria. So I decided to plan a road trip from Boston and take a look at the vehicles available, with no serious intentions of buying that day. Feder's was the first dealership I visited. I was greeted by Joe, and he was very personable yet not overbearing the way some car salesmen can be. They pulled the car up within minutes and we were off on a test drive. I loved the car (though I may have been trying to contain it at the time). I told Joe I was going to look at a couple other cars in the area, but that very he very well might see me back later that day. I thanked him for his time and set off for NJ.New Jersey was a different experience. I visited a few dealers there, and wasn't particularly "mistreated", but I definitely wasn't blown away by their customer service at each of the NJ dealers except one that was quite pleasant to deal with.I left the last dealer in NJ and called Joe to say "I want the car, and I'm on my way back." As I said above, the market for this car is very limited, so I knew I didn't have much bargaining power. Even so, Feder's pricing of the vehicle was very fair in my opinion, and they fixed the things I nit-picked about without hesitation. I should also note that because I live in MA, dealing with titling, registering, and insuring the car was less than easy due to MA's idiosyncrasies in law. Jim dealt directly with my insurance agent in MA and they worked out every detail so that I could drive the car off the lot a couple days later.I came back 4 days later to pick up the car. I'd rented a car for the drive out to NY state, and Joe picked me up at the rental agency (on his day off, mind you). As promised, the car was ready to go and it looked beautiful. We breezed thru the paper work, and I was out the door in about 40 minutes.Bottom line: everyone I worked with at Feder's was pleasant and professional, and I would buy a car from them again with no hesitation.

I recently leased my third car through Feder's Acura, and once again their quality of service exceeded my expectations. They have friendly, courteous staff who have excellent knowledge of their product. The salespeople I worked with painlessly lead me through the lease return process, and even helped me with the selection of my current leased vehicle (of which I am extremely happy). I was pleased with the price deals, as well as the personal attention I received at Feder's.

I called and spoke with a salesman, confirmed that they could come to the same price another dealer offered (invoice). They asked if I wanted to put a deposit down on the car, and I told them I would just drive in and see them soon. I arrived and spoke to Joseph Gil. He told me that they would not honor the price, and that they wanted $1000 more than invoice + fees. I told them that was dishonest and deceptive. He agreed and told me they had deceived me to get me to come in. I then left the dealership as I was not willing to do business with them.When I got home, I had a follow up offer (the first offer was automated) from the original dealer for $500 under invoice, no fees (just tax and licensing).Feder's excused their unprofessional, shameless, deception by saying that the car is in high demand and flying off of their lots. That they have customers waiting 2 months for the car. I saw the car on the lot. It was dirty, had "Last AWD until the end of the year" in grease pen on the window. Obviously this car had been on the dealer's lot for more than a month. Another lie.
