Fremont Motors Sheridan, and Matt Thums specifically, made my recent car purchase a pleasant experience. Matt was both informed and informative, timely, conscientious, and friendly. I sought an escape from the high pressure, impersonal, and seemingly unscrupulous dealers in my home city. Although my search took me out of state and hundreds of miles distant, my efforts were rewarded with a lower price, honesty, and integrity, I would recommend that any person intending to buy a Ford vehicle in this region at least give the people at Fremont Motors a call first, I do believe that in the unlikely event Fremont Motors cannot out compete another dealer, they will be the first dealer to say so and endorse a competitor, My only regret now ... Salesman Jake Vigil was straight forward in telling us about the features of two different cars, the Ford incentives and financing. There was no pressure to buy from Jake or from Sales Mgr. I needed a car with a lower payment, so I went to Fremont because that's where I got my previous car. It took a while to find the right one, but the people there were so helpful! Jake Vigil was our salesman. He bent over backward to make the buying experience pleasant and informative. His background in service was a real positive in answering our questions. The lot did not have the specific car that we wanted (color, extras, etc). Drew Porter worked hard to locate the exact car we wanted, worked with us fairly on the financial aspects of buying the car, and got the vehicle to Sheridan promptly.Kurt Layher did a succinct job in the paper work end of the transaction. My ranch manager recently purchased a 2014 Ford truck for the ranch. I was really impressed with it-- so many great new features, far better than the old one. I think I could even drive this one myself. Originally, I thought I'd get a Toyota Sequoia because I'd had one before and loved it. I drove one at the dealership (a 2014) but I didn't love it. I wanted to compare side by side with the Ford Expedition, so Matt brought over a 2016 for me to try. It was just what I wanted: big enough but not too big, 3rd row seats that folded automatically, voice Navigation system and the capacity to leave the AC running while dogs were in the car while keeping doors locked. The only downside for me was the 2016 had a split back seat and I wanted a bench seat. I called Matt the next day to see if he had found one with a bench seat and we looked at them on his computer, but two were King Ranch models and I serve on a board with one of the Alexander heirs and I didn't want to be driving a car with their brand on it-- I have my own brand, thank you very much! I had asked Matt to look for 2015 models because I thought they'd be less expensive and then he found a very lightly used 2014 that had all the things I wanted and so they brought it from another dealership and I bought it! Happy ending. Matt explained things when I picked it up and again a second time (I forget things). I stopped in again to have him show me how to program the radio and use the coded entry system. He told me about a dog step I could get for the trailer hitch, so now dogs are loving their new car and I can take them with me everywhere. Driving is fun again. I'm a happy camper!

The vehicle gave trouble 16 miles from the dealership. Not good. However, the sales man, MAtt, came through by meeting us after hours and giving us a loaner car. I am reserving judgement until I run the vehicle at least 1000 miles, with no problems, then I can give Fremont a good review. Matt Thums, however, is going above and beyond so I appreciate him as a salesman.

This was our third new vehicle from Fremont Motors in Sheridan. This was our second involving Kyle Hanson. In each case, our expectations were clearly stated and we drove away with exactly the vehicle we sought at the price we required. It should be noted that Fremont is a two hour drive from Billings and worth every mile. There are Ford dealers much closer, but none seem nearly as motivated in providing satisfaction.

When we were approached by Matt last Saturday, I enjoyed the time he took to make sure he had all the information about the qualities I was looking for in a new truck. On Tuesday however, I did not anticipate the length of time I was at the dealership. I felt obligated to finish the transaction through with either a yes or a no. At one point I felt alot of pressure into making a decision in just a couple minutes. When my wife and I had made the decision, we waited for almost two hours before we could talk to Kurt and sign the final paperwork.

I bought a new vehicle here years ago and it was the best choice I have ever made. Now years later I have chosen them again. And yet again they never cease to amaze me. I live in Gillette and was not able to come up to Sheridan to check out what I wanted. I called to see if I could get approved and a day later I was approved! Best news ever! Then we got the ball rolling with what I wanted and I had a new car by Friday! The best part of it all was that he came all the way down to Gillette to bring me my new purchase! My wife and I were on an extended trip traveling from Florida to the West Coast via Yellowstone and our 2008 Ford Edge broke down heading over the mountains towards Cody. The tow truck picked us up and drove us back to Sheridan and we left the car at Fremont Motors on a Sunday evening. I described our situation, writing it on the overnight drop envelope and posted our keys, not knowing how long it might take to hear back or what the damage to our car was.The next morning at about 8:00AM we were contacted by Brent in the Service Department and he had already had the car looked at and gave us the news that the radiator hose had failed and that the onboard computer had shut down the engine. I was very grateful that he had been able to diagnose the problem so quickly and that it was not more serious. By 10:00AM (if not sooner) we were back on the road again and 7,000 miles later the engine is still running smoothly. Brent and the service team were exceptionally professional and helpful during what could have been a very stressful time for us, but I felt well taken care of and would highly recommend the service team at Fremont Motors Sheridan. If I lived closer than Florida I would use them for all my maintenance work!

My wife and I had a great experience with Fremont Ford. We went in after work which was around 5:00 and all of the staff worked with us and did not leave until all of the paperwork, etc., was finished which was around 10:00 p.m. We felt like Luke, our salesman, the manager, and Kent all worked hard and kept an upbeat attitude even though it was hours after their dinner time and on to their bed time! We were able to drive the vehicles we were interested in and were able to get the information on each vehicle, pricing, payments, etc., and were given time to think about what would be best for our family. The truck was detailed and filled with gas for us to leave in which meant that the detail staff had to stay late too. We were very impressed that everyone was so dedicated. That type of dedication is very hard to find in America today! We work with the parts department through our employer and are always very impressed with how they handle our orders and deliveries. It's a great dealership!

We had a truck breakdown south of Sheridan. We were given the option to get reman engine or but new (injectors).After much consideration, we decided to go with new. They want an answer right away on a vehicle you are interested in, they don't give you time to think about the purchase you are going to make and harass you throughout the day. If you want to test drive a vehicle they think you are buying it. I had a terrible experience with this company. I was assured The deposit I gave them was refundable. When I told them I was not able to come see the vehicle because of some important matters that came up and I was no longer interested in the vehicle. The manager contacted me and tried to guilt trip me into buying the vehicle from them. He told me I could not have my deposit back unless I bought a vehicle from them which was not told to me before I agreed to the deposit. He told me that Amanda worked hard for 3 weeks to find my perfect vehicle and she was disappointed that I did not purchase from her. she did not look for 3 weeks she looked for a week and a half. I told them I was not in a hurry and I was looking for the perfect vehicle, they kept pushing this certain vehicle on me, after I told them I was uncertain it was what I wanted. I was being harassed about making a decision. I told them I am not getting the vehicle. Now I am getting text messages asking if my sister wants the vehicle. I do not live in Wyoming I live in Montana I do not think I should spend $200 in gas and drive 2 hours to come test drive a vehicle or be harassed about my sister buying it.

First off, Logan in service is excellent. I have no complaints about him. I bought my 2012 Ford Focus about three weeks ago. On the way home I realized the cruise wasn't working. I took it back the next day and the code said something about the steering wheel module. I was immediately put off that they hadn't checked that first. They first suggested I bring the car in next week. Then Noelle, my salesperson, said she'd get me a loaner and I could leave it there. I was then told the GM, Matt, wanted to know why I couldn't come back the next week. They finally got me a loaner with the assurance it would be tended to immediately. Matt never came out to speak to me. I walked into his office and he never even stood up. He was a condescending jerk.I called Noelle on my way home to insist they check out the entire vehicle. She kept telling me she was sure it was nothing.However, 24 hours later I still hadn't heard a word. I called and found out it hadn't even been looked at yet. I called the salesperson and left two messages. She called me back an hour or so later and said they were getting to it. at 4:00, 30 hours after I left the car, I was told it was finished. All they did was clear a code. That's it. Nothing else was checked.Today I realized there was no oil change sticker on my windshield. I took the car in and asked why there wasn't one, since I was assured at purchase that they were taking care of it "right now." I discovered there had been NO service done on the vehicle. If there was anything done, it's not noted anywhere. This car had a sticker price of $15,900 and not one lick of work was done on it. Is it because I was a woman alone? Maybe. Is it because they're crooks? Quite possibly. I will never give them my business again.

We were traveling West from Montana to Wisconsin in my 3-series BMW, and had an alternator go out. We made it to this dealership, and the staff there was incredible, even before we thought of simply purchasing a new vehicle. A salesman had a tech come out and check the alternator strength, which confirmed our thoughts. Glynis was extremely kind and thoughtful, allowing us to use the dealerships phone to go through our Plan A, B, and C. We settled on trading my car in to purchase a new (used) vehicle. Glynis was very helpful during the entire process and really knew what I was looking for, instead of BS'ing me around. Matt was also very kind and a pleasant reminder of our home state. I chose Fremont Motors because i have done business with you in the past. My experience with Glynis was the best I have ever had with a saleperson. I wasn't sure which vehicle I wanted so I requested multiple units to drive. I couldn't decide on my first apperance so I requested to meet with her again the following morning to drive a few units again and she made sure to be there for me at the time I requested. On Saturday, August 11, 2012 in the late afternoon, our 2000 Ford Windstar (purchased new in Delaware) used its last transmission function at the bottom of the exit ramp into Sheridan, Wyoming from I-90. We limped it in 2nd gear (the only one working) off of the roadway and obtained a ride to Fremont Ford.I was greeted by Jim Sutton who listened to my tale of woe of medical issues with my wife, financial trials from the cancer treatment, and now a worthless Windstar to boot. He introduced me to Kurt Layher and we began a search for a replacement vehicle.With the assistance of Derek Hall, we obtained financing at a reasonable interest rate and arranged to drive away in a 2005 Ford F150 FX4 on Monday. It had been traded in that day and needed to be detailed.I felt no pressure to buy needless extras, even though they were offered and explained to me. I remained comfortable. I researched the truck on Car Facts as well as KBB and am satisfied that I received an excellent deal all the way around.On Monday when my wife and I picked up the truck we noticed a sensation and noise from the drive train as we cornered right or left. Enter Kenny Phipps and the Service Technician whos name escapes me. They determined that it was a normal design of the drive train to clutch the rear wheels as it cornered for better efficiency. No mechanical deficiency.If I lived in or near Sheridan, Wyoming, I would buy my next vehicle there no second thoughts at all.

We were traveling to the Big Horn mountains from Wisconsin when I noticed a nocking in my engine. It was a Saturday and was able to find a local service station near Sheridan. He listened to the sound and said he would not go up in the mountains with my truck and he would not be able to get to my truck until Thursday. I asked him if he new anyone else in Sheridan or should I go to the Ford dealer. He said to definitely go to the Ford dealer. Logan the service advisor happen to stop in on his day off. He took a half hour to try and figure out the problem and it looked like it could be serious. He also said it would probably be Thurday before they could get at it, it was the week of the 4th so I wasn't surprised. At the same time I was considering buying a new truck instead and was talking to Glynis Johnson about that.She was very helpful and understanding. Not surprisingly I couldn't get the trade in value I would have liked considering no one knew exactly what my problem was. Under normal circumstances, I woundn't hesitate buying a new vehicle from Glynis or Fremont. I let Logan know that if there was any way we could get the truck buy Thursday so we could get home, I certainly would appreciate it. I never expected it to happen. We rented a car and had a great five days in the mountains. Well, they did get to it on Tuesday, ordered the new camshaft we needed which came in to late on Thursday for them to finish until Friday morning. Fremont Motors in Sheridan is probably "The nicest and fair" car dealer in the nation. I have lived in a lot of different states in the U.S. and have never felt most "at home" with ALL of the people that work there. The service and sales people are the best I've ever dealt with. We were vacationing in Sheridan when our Expedition started acting up. We saw the Ford Dealership sign and pulled in. No, no, "Great" doesn't begin to cover it. This was far and away the most excellent experience I've had with buying a rig. I found it online, looked over the online window sticker (that's an awesome feature BTW) calculated its value to me and made an offer. Within 15 minutes, we had a deal. But it gets better. Jayson worked stuff around and got us the extended warranty AND knocked $1,000 off the bottom line. I drove back to Billings, grinning so hard that my face hurts today. I knew what I wanted, I knew what I wanted to pay and got an even better deal than anticipated. Oh yeah, these guys are the bomb. Terry met us at the door, keys in hand and Jayson plowed through the paperwork in excellent time. It was 20 minutes from the time we pulled onto the lot until we were heading home in a new truck. THIS is how to buy a vehicle and THESE are the people to buy it from. It's 134 miles from Billings to Sheridan and dealing with these folks makes it worth every inch. Greatest experience in buying a car ever! I did everything online. From finding the 2011 Ford Edge I wanted to trading in my 2007 Ford Fusion. The financing was all done online also.
