I had a great experience at Fremont. I recently purchased a new Ram truck and couldn't be happier with it. The sales staff were easy to deal with, and the financing options they have worked out great. I look forward to continuing a great relationship with all of the staff at Fremont in Rock Springs. I would easily recommend this dealership to anyone in the Sweetwater County area. They got me a great price, and was beyond comparable to pricing I researched in Salt Lake, Laramie, and Cheyenne. I'm not sure who checks out the cars for problems??? I realize that when you buy used it is as is where is. You don't expect the check engine light to come on after 138 miles. Mike said it would be fixed, sent the truck back and 6 hours later they came out with a bid wanting to know if we wanted to pay that much to have it fixed. My husband told them to take it up with Mike and he told them to fix it. They didn't have the right part so it was sent and the truck was fixed the next day. I am thank full that Mike fixed that problem. I have been asked to give you my thoughts on how you could make things better. Better communication about what is being done and better checking out and disclosure on what's wrong with the truck at the time of the sale. Since this we have found other problems with the truck that will be costly repairs.

My daily driver went on the fritz and I needed some wheels now. After doing my homework, I found my Jeep on their website. Although I live 150 miles away, it was well worth the trip to go to Fremont Motors in Rock Springs to pick up our new vehicle. Matt had the Jeep ready and waiting when we got there. We had paperwork completed in no time and we were on our way back home

My husband and I walked in with the intent to just look because we knew we needed a new car in the next few months. I gave them my list of needs and they found us an amazing vehicle. We purchased a used vehicle from Fremont not to long ago. It was a typical good buying experience. But what will really keep me going back is the customer service after the sale. We did buy used and didn't expect everything to be perfect but when our salesman called to ask us how everything was going I brought up a very minor problem. He made it his priority to get it fixed and make sure everything was painless, I've bought cars before and really expected to be told "sorry about your luck you did buy used". And that's why we will be repeat customers.

I purchased my car in a different town from another dealership, but they didn't have the Jeep that I wanted. The dealership located my Jeep on the Fremont lot. My parents and I drove up to pick it up, partially because my parents were going to look at trucks while we were there. When we arrived the main building was under construction, so we went into the trailer that is being used as their temporary building. When we walked into the sales office the girl at the front desk didn't even look up from her cell phone to greet us. A guy, I'm assuming a salesman, eventually said, "What do you ladies need?" I explained that we were there to pick up my new vehicle. The man just said, "Oh." He got up walked into another office (in ear shot) and told another guy, "there's someone here to pick up a car?" The guy from the second office came out and handed me keys and said, "it's parked out there." I understand that I didn't actually buy my car from them, but I did expect them to at least be friendly. Fortunately I brought my own screw driver to put the temporary plate on, as I was able to remove the dealer plate that has their logo on it. My mom took it in and gave them the plate ball and expressed that we would not be keeping that because of their poor customer service and the guy was uncaring and rude again. We went next door to Whisler to look at trucks for my parents, the people at that dealership were very friendly. My advice is to go to Whisler to shop for a vehicle in Rock Springs. I can't say who I worked with, because I never heard a name out of any of them. I can't submit the review unless I pick am employee, so I picked a manager so they would hopefully see this.

I didn't like that noone would tell me the price of the vehicle till i was signing paper work. Which the only reason i knew was because it said on my finace papers. Second reason i asked to have taxes figured in to my loan and was told no which is really hard for a average guy to hand over 4000 in a down payment then go spend another 2000 because they wouldnt even try for me.

I'm not even sure where to begin with this review. My wife and I needed to upgrade our truck to a large pickup in order to pull a new fifth-wheel we were considering. We started this search sometime in late February. I was hoping to get away with simply stepping up to a 3/4 or one-ton pickup, but when we mentioned the possible weights of the trailers we were looking at Ryan knew right off the top of his head that we would need a shorter gear ratio and a dually. He took the time to pull up the information, and sure enough, he was right. We started off thinking we would be fine with an SLT, but couldn't decide which of the higher gear ratios or transmissions we wanted to get based on the way they would drive and fuel economy. (And the fact that the Aisin transmission is an extra $3000) If a truck came in that had a different combination that we wanted to drive, Ryan had no problem letting us take it for a spin, even if it was several trim packages higher than what we were originally wanting. There was never any pressure in any capacity to make a purchase or order a special truck. Unfortunately for us, driving these Laramie trucks compared to the SLT's caused us to have a change of heart as to the trim level we would be getting. We absolutely adore the Laramie Longhorn.Looking at all the options, I was very intrigued with the factory air assist. While intrigued, I wanted to take one for a test drive to see if it made a difference in unloaded ride quality before we ordered our truck. Eventually I was able to find a dually equipped with the factory air suspension and I didn't notice the difference or the ride, and neither did the salesman that rode with me. I made the decision that we did not need the air ride and that I would be ordering our new truck the following week. Pulling into Rock Springs I decided to swing by the dealership to see if they had received any new trucks in my two-week absence and to let Ryan know we would be making an order. It just so happens that they had just taken delivery of an absolutely beautiful red and gold Laramie Longhorn MegaCab Dually with the Cummins diesel, Aisin transmission, 3.73 gears, the fifth-wheel prep package, and NO SUNROOF. (I've had a sunroof on all my trucks. Definitely a waste of money as I never use the things. So this is a positive) Basically the truck was optioned out perfectly with the exception that I didn't care to have the CD player or the automatic wipers/auto-dim headlamps. Not a big deal. The truck had literally just been delivered and the plastic wrap was still on all the seats, but Ryan took me out to look at it anyway (did I mention it was in the middle of a storm?) and again- NO PRESSURE! We brought the truck home yesterday. Ryan and Bill were extremely competitive in their pricing and gave us a great deal on our trade. We are incredibly happy with our experience and will be purchasing our next vehicle from Fremont as well.

HiI Just purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT from Fremont Motors Inc in Rock Springs WYI had literally contacted 25 dealerships from California "where i live" all the way as far back as Chicago and Ohio to find the best deal in the country. Best deal for a brand new car was my GoalEvery dealership i delt with had the Word "NO" in their vocabulary.Mind you, i was being super aggressive with my pricing. way way below MSRP. thats all ill say about that!These other dealerships were hell bent on racking me over the coals and were not being respectful of my knowledge of How to close a great price on a car, my great credit score which enables me to get a low apr% on a purchase and my understanding of what a good deal looks like. Even for an in demand SUV like the Jeep SRT,I dealt with BoB Baker "fleet sales" and Bill White GM of the dealership.I have never met either guy and they were talking to me as if they knew me for years.they never undermined me, never made me feel like a kid at40 yrs old and they let me be the boss and call the shots.Bob and I were pretty close on price but i though there was more room in the deal and i simply asked to speak to the decision maker.without skipping a beat, he said heres Bill White GM, ask him yourself.wow a GM thats not afraid to get on the phone and close the deal.Thats impressive and thats what closed the deal. Once again He said yes.Bob came back on the phone and said,... well that was easy!it was easy because these guys want to sell cars not hold on to them like some of these other amateurs.long story short they had the car i wanted, they gave me the price and they new how to close a deal.good for them.Grant Cardone would be proud.By the way they gave me a door to door delivery on a flatbed from Wy to CA at an awesome price one day after i closed the deal and mailed them a check for the deposit. The flatbed driver was the coolest 75 yr "old school" former race car drivers named Roger.we drove the SRT for an hour straight testing it out. to make sure it was perfect, and it was.The car was exactly how Fremont described it."not a scratch on it"from my experience nobody has the ability to travel 20hr w a car on one day notice, it usually takes 1 to 2 weeks to get a transport like this done.so happy right nowit was my pleasure to write this.hope it helps anyone that reviews dealerships before their purchase.all the bestRob

The salesman here will not deal what ever is on the sticker price is what the charge . Tell you that there is no way they can come down on price. I guess the think that the inter net is not telling us the whole story . Well I can go west on i80 and get dealer cut backs up to 3,000.00 . But yet Fremont says the can't come down at all lol . The owner says we will take care you whatch your bank account . Can't see much improvement fro. The other owners . So I'll be going to utah or Denver to buy a new jeep. That's right take the money to utah again for this reason . Shop local and pay a lot more . Can get the same jeep 3,000.00 cheaper out of state.

I have dealt with Dennis in the past. And he always got me into what I wanted. But this visit was the visit that made it all come true. I have talked to Dennis and the rest of the staff about my dream car. The 1970 Hemi Cuda and the Dodge Challenger. I had just bought a 2009 Challenger a few months ago. Very nice car. On this visit I want in to talk to Dennis about a problem I was having with my truck. Dennis help me with the problem by setting up a service appointment. Then it all came true. Dennis showed me some pictures of a car he had just took in on trade. It wasn't the 1970 Cuda. But it was the next best thing. It was a 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Yellow Jacket. I wanted this car. A few days later I took my truck in for the service work and went in to talk to Dennis. I had come up with a deal to get the car I wanted. My deal was. I was going to trade in my 2014 truck and my 2009 Challenger for the 2010 challenger and a use truck. I then talked to Dennis and Ryan together. They would not do the deal. They would not take my truck in on trade. Witch I was ok with. Reason being is my truck was paid for and it. So I told them to see what they could do with the Challenger. With in a few hours I was the proud owner of my Dream Car. Thanks to a lot of hard work the sales stuff at Fremont Motors. And I still have my truck.

Before I want in to buy my trucks I had already found the two trucks I wanted. When i went down to Fremont I went in and told Dennis witch trucks I want. and by the end of the day I left Fremont with the two trucks i had picked. I had been looking at a Jeep for about a month. Needed a vehicle I could easily tow 4 wheels down behind a motorhome and this seemed to be the best choice for me as many of the newer vehicles can't be towed like this without some modifications I didn't care for. Also being in Wyoming and loving the outdoors it was a perfect fit for me. After hours of internet shopping I decided to purchase locally and the dealer having the model I was looking for was a no brainer for me. I could have gotten a better price out of state, but decided to keep my money local. After hearing some horror stories of friends having trouble with local dealers, (ie warranty work) after purchasing out of state, it played part in my decision. I hope Fremont Motors won't let me down.

We originally went in to look at used 1/2 ton trucks to replace a 3/4 ton truck we didn't have a need for anymore. The dealership had decent used inventory for what we were thinking, and then we saw a half-ton Megacab at their Riverton store that intrigued us. Fremont had the truck shipped down to Rock Springs for us to check out. The truck had a few imperfections that would be common on a vehicle with 80,000 miles, however we were unable to come to an agreement on price as I thought $29,000 was a bit too high and we passed on the vehicle. The salesman was professional during the process and didn't seem to hold our decision against us, and he continued to work with us on other possible options. When I purchase vehicles, I'm in no particular hurry to make the deal. My wife and I were checking out vehicles at other dealerships, getting an idea for what else might be available, when Ryan (sales manager) asked if I had thought about purchasing a brand new truck. I told him that I had, and had already generated a control number, but I didn't feel like spending that kind of cash. He explained the rebates that were currently being offered on the SLT Ram pickups and combining that with my Partner Plan discount of 1% under dealer invoice, I could be into a brand-new truck for a few thousand more than the used truck we were looking at. When all was said and done, we ended up really liking the new truck and the price of that truck, and had a great experience with this dealership. We did run into a recall with the coolant hoses and the new 150,000 mile coolant. Apparently there is a reaction with a bad batch of hoses that causes a terrible smell. I contacted the dealership about this and they got my truck into the shop right away and gave us a new Chrysler 200C as a loaner until the truck was repaired. It took about a week for all the parts to come in, but the dealership did not mess with us at all. Looking at the internet, there were a lot of dealerships that refused to acknowledge the problem existed, and there are a lot of unhappy customers out there. What a shame. I also ordered a shell through Fremont to be installed on the truck. The shell actually came in yesterday after right around five weeks from order (which was expected.) They drove the shell down from Lander to install it on to my truck. The installer was a super-nice guy and didn't mind that I was watching over his shoulder while he was working on the wiring. He was very detailed and thorough, which I certainly appreciated. Unfortunately, when they went to put the shell on, we discovered that the wrong size shell had been ordered. Darnit! They have ordered another shell and hopefully it will be in soon.

We purchased a used 2012 Jeep Cherokee from Fremont just recently. Coming from a sales background, I am familiar with the car salesman stereotype. This was not the case with my experience. ALL the staff were accommodating and pleasant. Allen arranged an alignment for me, and had the Jeep detailed before we took it home. They were fair with me on our trade. I will be going back for sure.

First I think the communication between your sales person and myself was adequate, but I had also sent him an email that was VERY SPECIFIC on the products that I wanted added which included a over the rail spray in bed liner and a 2.5 " leveling/lift kit from Rough Country. The spray in liner (tough liner) I am more the PLEASED with and am impressed with the quality. The second item (leveling/Lift kit) was a major disappointment. What did I really get? A Trail-master leveling kit that online cost $90 with a rebate of up to $30, maybe $60 total in this product, and no paper work of the measurements before or after the alignment. On the Trail Master web site they provide this form for easy printing, YET I DON'T HAVE ANY PROOF (PAPERWORK) OF THIS DEALERSHIP INSTALLED KIT IF THERE BECOMES A PROBLEM. Also, by email I had mentioned the above items and the price was agreed upon that the bed liner would be $400 and the Leveling/Lift kit from Rough Country would be the price that is found on their website of $150. Labor for installation was negotiated in as no cost to the buyer (myself). Being satisfied with this agreement the transaction was completed.I would not recommend this dealership after this experience, but what is really disappointing is that not only did they lose one customer (myself) they also lost the possibility of my son purchasing a vehicle from this establishment. And for what? Less that $100 to purchase and install the requested leveling/ lift kit.

We purchased from Fremont Rock Springs because of the excellent service we've received from Fremont Toyota at Lander on a 2007 Tundra. We looked at new Toyotas at Lander but, as we are getting older, wanted to buy a vehicle in Rock Springs, so, we decided on Fremont Rock Springs. Also, we've known Dennis for a long time and trust him. I put the price as OK because dealers don't deal much on Jeeps and we knew that going in.

I brought my car in for warranty work and my car was severely keyed while they had it. The company took no action to resolve the issue on there own and didn't ever want to have a police report done until I demanded it. When I talked to the service manager he laughed at my complaint that I wasn't happy about my car needing to be repainted saying "what do you want??? A new car?" After several calls they are only willing to pay for my deductible if I turn it into my insurance. I don't feel that it should be my insurance company's and definitely not mine to resolve the issue. Fremont should take full responsibility for damage that happens when my car was in there hands. Dirty business practices.Follow up letter from the general manager said that they are not responsible for any damage that happens on there lot and I should be happy that they are willing to pay my deductible.

Bought our truck and tire pressure light was on and they said they would fix it. They filled up the tires that day and said it should go off. Drove it home that day and called and brought it in the next day and they said the tires were over flated and now the light should go off. It didn't so called back that same day and they said they couldn't work on it til Tuesday so brought it to them Tuesday and they wanted to charge us 301 dollars for a part which was broke already before we bought the thing.

Well my wife and I went in to look at a truck. We didn't know that I would come home with the new used truck the same day. I can really say that Mike and Sam down there will do whatever it takes to make your deal go or you happy with the way it turns out.
