Very negative experience

Considering speaking to ownership by request, a sales rep simply hunged up my call after saying (quote) "unusual the owner ask you to call and did not leave name"...The level of unprofessional customer service at Ford of Englewood really top the list. Like on prior reviews, i was also denied refund of a deposit after more than 3 months of misleading and dishonest information. Unbearable that Ford of Englewood, much more Ford Co, allows this poor quality of service while selling their vehicles, new or pre-owned

Will not recommend...

Not only my questions weren't answer directly, i was mislead, misinformed and mistreated...neither Mr Ditri nor Mr Aiello could offer honest answers, and at the end, refuse to return deposit without prior notice...i continue to be interested in a Ford vehicle but will never recommend this dealer nor it staff to anyone

OMG, I LOVE MY NEW 2016 FORD ESCAPE. sporty looking. yet classy. Very comfortable, nice ride and with all the latest technology. The Englewood dealer quietly tucked away...made my buying experience QUICK, & most of all STRESS FREE :-) Not like the Highway dealers where you could sit for Hours....They answered all my questions, and were extremely helpful from the salesman, Manager, (even the OWNER) to my new car prep guy. I would highly recommend this dealer to friends & Familyand will even consider my next new car from them in the future.Not for a while though, as I Love my new car LOL

Usually hate to write reviews but I feel I own one to these people of Ford of Englewood. Excellent customer service. We came to this dealer after years of buying from a Toyota of Englewood Cliffs. We were surprised by the caring people who work at the dealer. Specially Ramon Pena. He was by our side all the way through our leasing process. We came to the dealer and get off 1 hour after with our new car. Pain free. A total different experience compared with other dealers where we had to spend a whole day to buy a car and we'd been transfered from salesman to salesman to financing department and on and on before finally going for signatures. If you want to avoid this as well, I recommend you to visit Ford of Englewood. Fast service, warm environment. You'll feel like family there.

Ramon Pena's Amazing Customer Service

Ramon was an amazing dealer that I will never forget. He made me feel very comfortable with the deal I was making because of his vibrant personality and I would go back to him in a heartbeat the next time I get a new car. I never thought that I, as a 20 year old, could afford a car, but he made it possible. His efficiency made the long hours of sitting in a chair go by like seconds. Routine Maintenance

I was promptly greeted and was taken care of fairly quickly. Even though it was a busy morning, I was told it would take approximately 1 hour and a half to service my vehicle. At the hour and a half mark, the nice gentleman was handing me the keys to my car. I haven't had my car more than 4 months and couldn't be any happier with the employees and my FUSION!!!

I've been coming to Eglewood Ford for years to get my cars serviced. Unfortunately one of my cars gave out & could not be repaired. The team was honest with me & went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I was introduced to car salesman Ramon. He is very friendly, knowledgable, & like the service team treated me like family. I leased a Ford Expedition which I am extremely happy with. Ramon & the manager were awesome! I would have never thought I could give such a high review for a car dealership but Ramon, the Service team, & Englewood Ford deserve it! Thank you!!!

Defective product

I leased a brand new 2016 Explorer and took it home only to find out couple of days later that it has 3 dents on the passenger door and 1 dent on the door behind it. They were touched up and painted but very visible from certain angle. When took it back to the dealership, Sal the general manager denied doing any bodywork on the car. He blamed it on transport, and refused to assume any responsibility. This is my first experience with this dealership, and it has not been good at all. As a customer, buying a brand new car I deserve to have a spotless car free of any damage or repair. This place is the epitome of dishonesty and bad business practice.

Steeve moore - sales and leasing was very helpful in making the process of test drive and negotiating simple and easy. No pressure. Along with Jeff and Sal - sales mangers making the paper work simple.

Ramon was able to walk me through getting my first lease and put me in a brand new Focus in no time. His knowledge and professionalism will have me coming back when time comes to get a new car. The service department has been handling any issues I have with the car with zero headaches. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Exceptional Service

Exceptional customer service. I visited 4 dealers prior to visiting Ford and was blown away by their kindess, knowledge, and support. They offered us coffeee the minute we walked into the door and the process felt more like a conversation with a family member than with a business. Ramon was extremely flexible and helpful. This was the only dealer that let us test drive the car without their associates in the car wwith us, which made it much more personal. I went with ford because of their excellent service and quality vehicles.

One word for anyone looking to buy or lease a car. RAMON! RAMON! RAMON! He was absolutely amazing! He sold a car to 3 of my family members, I make the 4th. He was very honest and he will bend over backwards to get you the price you want. Most dealerships claim to have special pricing etc.. Ramon tells you up front about the rebates and different options you have. He even managed to get me out of my lease 6 months early and my wife's lease 2 months early. Now with four Ford automobiles in the family, I refer to him as "Uncle Ramon." If you want your car buying or leasing experience to be smooth and hassle free, I urge you to go see Uncle Ramon. Tell him Nephew Joseph sent you, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Buying and Service

My purchase of a 2014 Ford Fusion in June 2014 went smoothly. I have since been to the service department for oil change, tire rotation and a recall. All visits have been pleasant and professional. Whenever I have a question, it was answered. This car was my first Ford.

Thanks to the labor day sale I was able to get my 2015 Mustang financed for 72 months at 0.0% interest. The car is great and when I had a small problem Sal and Ramon went the extra mile providing me with free detailing making the car look SOMEHOW even better than it did the day I picked it up.

This dealership Englewood Ford is the BEST. When you go to Englewood it is like returning to your family's home. The salesmen don't know how to help you. They are going to your dad's house. The service dept is the finest. The head of service Tom is very professional and again like family. I have a 2015 Fusion. I had to return to have a re-call service. I enjoy going back to the dealership. I love my car and many people stop and ask what type of ford is it. I get many compliments.

Our vehicle broke down on a Friday. We was told that our vehicle could not be repaired until the following Monday. Then we showed up on Monday to check on the status. & they said, "Oh no! We had to order the part. & it won't be in till Tuesday." So then we came back Tuesday. & they said, "Oh the part isn't here yet. It won't be here till 3:30. & then we can't guarantee that we can't guarantee that it will be fixed by the time we close today." We had been told that the part had been coming from Harrisburg, PA. We literally had JUST passed by that town & could've picked it up if they had asked! GRRRRRR

The sales manager is a very knowledgeable and courteous Sales Manager for Ford. Mr. Ajello explained all the new technological additions that the new vehicle has, and made sure that I was completely confident and aware of how to work the new Ford Escape 2014 before my husband and I left the showroom with out new vehicle. Salvatore is an asset to the Ford Company of Englewood, NJ, and desered recognition and high accolades for his high quality of service in which he treats his customers. Went for service work on my 2012 Focus. Transmission was not shifting correctly. Tom and his mechanic fixed the problem within 2 hours by reprogramming the trans. Car works great. I have been buying from Sal since 1989 and Dominic a few years later. No better people to deal with. Can't wait for my next buying experience (March 2014). I have been buying Fords since 1961 (1958 1st one) and have had no real problems with any of them. This dealership and Fords are tops.

I bought a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer from Ford of Englewood Inc. The dealer made it seem like a sweet deal, but he didn't mention the car was flooded and that it was dangerous to drive. He presented a car fax that didn't report the real history of the car. The car frame was painted in black to hide the rust and therefor deceive customers. I drove this car on a highway without knowing this and now I realize I'm lucky I didn't die. I was doing a regular oil change when the mechanic informed me that the frame of the car is "severely rotted" with some broken and separated parts. A licensed car dealer should not put a car like this on sale because it puts people's lives in danger, but unfortunately Ford of Englewood doesn't care about the safety of the customers. This dealership refused to give my money back and failed to show any type of professionalism.

Purchasing a vehicle over the internet is always risky. This time it clearly didn't go well. The vehicle had been smoked in which was opposite of what was communicate prior to the purchase. I had point blank asked if the vehicle had been smoked in and Steve told me no. They tried to cover it up by leaving the doors and windows open and putting some sort of air freshener in the truck. All that did was let dirt and leaves get inside. It also seems the vehicle had some paint work or body work done which was not revealed prior to purchase nor in any of the available reports. This was discovered while detailing the vehicle for the smoke smell. Then on transport the bed cover blew off the truck. Obviously someone failed to put it on correctly prior to transport. Lastly the truck arrived dirty inside and out. Now I know its going to get a little dirty during transport but not mud on the wheels dirty or visible dirt inside the cabin. Would I buy out of state again? Possibly for the right price and with more information. Would I buy from Englewood Ford again? No way.

My husband and I, after much talk, decided that it was time to buy a new car. So, we selected Englewood because we had our Mustang towed there and it was closed to home. We got there around 3:00 pm and the place was empty. They had a black mustang and asked Phil if there were any others. The guy was so cold and dry, and he said "No". We we stood there, looking at each, for a minute or so and that was that.Come on, only one mustang in the whole dealer? We walked out.

Went to see and test drive a truck I saw on Autotrader. Phil was very "whatever" about the whole thing. The truck had no turn signals but he sent me on my test drive anyway. This is the first car I'm buying by myself so I was unaware that when he made me leave a deposit to run my financing that I shouldn't have. I've decided against the truck and now I'm getting the run around on getting my deposit back. After multiple phone calls and visits I still haven't been refunded.

These are the most rude, arrogant, old bastards I've ever encountered. They are truly devoid of personality and customer service skills. They did everything they could to do as LITTLE AS POSSIBLE for me when I went to get my car serviced. Mind you this is a car that had myriad RECALLS due to poor build quality, and yet they act as though they're doing you a favor for fixing their own crap. They want to charge a "diagnostic fee" for checking out a loose door panel that just has to be snapped in!Avoid this dealership at all costs unless you like being abused and treated as if your business is worth ZERO to them.
