We had a very unpleasant experience with Russell Cunha, General Manager for Flood Mazda. As a consequence of Mr. Cunha's extremely rude and disrespectful treatment towards us, we left this dealership and purchased a vehicle from Tasca Mazda, where we received the utmost respectful and professional treatment.

I came to Flood Mazda to lease a CX-5 and found I was very impressed with the employees. Everything was handled in a professional manner. My salesman was Keith Peck. We discovered that we are neighbors too. Cody handled the paperwork and he explained each document I had to sign. Can't sayenough good things about these guys.

WeI had been looking at Mazda's on line, contacted Charles Metivier by e mail. He called and set up an appointment the next day, Our salesmen Keith Peck could not have been better. Very professional, no pressure went out of his way to answer any questions we had. The same went for Cody Harvey the Finance Director, the best! Never has been buying a car been this pleasant, Keith and Cody went the extra mile to make us comfortable. We love our new Mazda and would not hesitate to refer folks to this dealership.

I have to say that this was the BEST car buying experience I've ever had. I've always driven Hondas. However, I decided to upgrade to an SUV. So I started to do some research. A friend of mine told me to go over to Flood Mazda, because they had had a good experience there. Initially I was interested in the Nissan Rogue, Honday CRV and Mazda's CX5. Well after going to all three dealerships and comparing prices and quality, I went with the CX5. There wasn't even a question and I could not be happier. The interior is amazing. It has a cozy luxurious feeling to it and the ride is a dream. I definitely made the right choice and the body style and substantial feel to the car is awesome. I absolutely love it. Jeffrey Piscione, who sold me the car was with me every step of the way. He spent hours answering my questions and there was not even a hint of pushiness. I really felt he was completely honest with me and worked with Cody Harvey, the Finance Manager to give me exactly what I needed. They definitely went the extra mile for me and I drove out of the lot as happy as I've ever been. It seemed as though everyone who worked there was really kind and sincere. I just could not believe how genuine they all were. They really wanted to make me feel happy and comfortable with this major purchase. I'm thrilled. Jeffrey, Cody and Charlie were amazing. Total professionals. I plan on referring many people to Flood Mazda.

Best buying experience ever. Have been buying new cars for 30+ years. Drove one hour to Flood Mazda after locating the vehicle I wanted on their website. I got the car I wanted at a great price after trying to deal with a local dealership and haggling over a price for a car they had already sold to someone else.Flood Mazda is on a whole other level. Everyone was great to deal with. No problems, no pressure. Would definitely buy from this dealer again. Highly recommended.

I did a lot of research before I bought the Mazda. I checked with USAA buying service and they weren't on it, however because they are the closest to me, I contacted them by email. They responded quickly and I set up an appointment with Keith Peck, the salesman. He was personable, professional and did not put any pressure on me to buy anything. Other employees that I had contact with were also the same. Everything went smoothly and they took care of everything for me. I would recommend them highly. .

We purchased our previous Mazda CX-9 at a different dealer and we were so dissatisfied that we opted to have all of our service performed at Flood Mazda. Our confidence in their service department was the main reason for purchasing a new Mazda. We spoke with Taylor Trahan and test drove the car. I wanted to wait until we returned from a scheduled vacation before moving forward with the purchase. Taylor was very respectful of time and only followed up after we returned from our brief get away. When we decided to move forward with the purchase, I was concerned that our roof racks racks would not fit on the new rail system. He kept the roof rack and had the service department install on the car prior to pick up.If/when Mazda offers an AWD large four door sedan, I would seriously consider purchasing for my primary transportation.

My husband and I really enjoyed our visit at Flood Mazda. Kyle is an amazing salesperson. He not only knows absolutely everything about Mazda, he also knows his competitors. I was very impressed with the way the car handled during the test drive as Kyle had me put it through its paces while he thoroughly explained all the functions of the car. His knowledge and down-to-earth sunny personality were a breath of fresh air after dealing with the usual elsewhere. Cody was also very knowledgeable and professional, explaining all the paperwork and answering any questions we had. We have been telling everyone about how great the experience was and how great the car is, I feel so safe in it.

My wife and I were looking for a pre-owned car and our credit union approved us for a $5000 maximum, but couldn't have more then 90000 miles...talk about tough. I saw a 2011 Chevy Aveo on Autotrader on the Flood Mazda lot. I emailed Flood from there site and asked how many miles...got an almost immediate response. The car fit all the criteria so we headed down from Pawtucket to test drive. We were met by salesman Taylor Trahan who was instantly helpful, friendly and most importantly NOT PUSHY. We test drove the car then sat down to talk and Taylor was great. He not only helped us to get the car but he and Cody Harvey got us a better APR and longer term. Great service, nice people and great price. I will recommend Flood Mazda to everyone I know.

We researched the cars we were looking for (2014+ Mazda 6, manual transmission) and Flood had a car that fit. We made an appointment to drive the car. The car was ready when we arrived. We both drove the car and liked it. We then did the paperwork and drove away with the car. Easy-peasy. We were driving home with the car in less than two hours.We paid cash for the car and were told the title would be sent as soon as our check cleared. We did get the title just not quite as fast as the expectation was set to be.We are quite happy with the car. The price was fair. I tired to negotiate but there wasn't a need to, nor was the dealership interested in haggling. So, I couldn't "steal" the car. I also didn't get "taken". I'll start off by saying that if you read any of the reviews that say anything negative about the Flood Mazda salespeople and their unwillingness to negotiate, then the reviewer must not have been very educated on the car they were looking at. The only reason the salespeople here wouldn't be willing to negotiate on a car is that the prices that they list on their website are really good prices. This isn't to say don't try to negotiate, just don't blame them if they don't have any wiggle room.Now onto my personal experience. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a car dealership. Kevin helped me from the start and made a great first impression. I had a very pleasant experience with the introduction phase. There was none of the typical pushy sales pitches that waste time and make things more frustrating than they need to be. He just listened to what I wanted and took me out for a test drive in the exact car I was looking for. The test drives were good. Though I know the area, he suggested a route that gave me a pretty good feel for the car (highway and back roads). He was also knowledgeable about the features of the car and was willing to spend some time educating me. When I came back for the second test drive and for negotiations, I had a similarly pleasant experience. Cody was the finance manager that helped us out and he was great, as well. I walked away feeling like I paid the price I wanted (great deal) and never felt pressured or ripped off. The personalities and level of professionalism of the people that work at Flood Mazda along with the great (and transparent!) prices make this the perfect dealership!

Fair price, no haggle, no pressure, great experience. Easy, efficient and got it done in a short time. Left Flood Mazda feeling like everyone won, dealership made their profit margin, and I got a fair price that was below the other dealerships I visited. The best thing was that I talked to Flood on the internet and the price I was quoted was what I paid. The price and fees were right on the internet for me to see. There were NO hidden fees, no "extra" costs or pressure to buy something I did not need. I had to drive an hour to get to the dealership but it was worth the drive.

I visited this dealership on August 7,2015 in hopes of purchasing a CX5. Th sales person was not very knowledgeable nor willing to work on a deal that would suit my needs. The manager would not come out of his office to help facilitate a deal as "I was too busy covering the phones for the secretary." I walked out and found a very professional dealer 2 hours later where I made a purchase.Send all the employees to customer service school,the manager being the first. Apparently being female and asking specific questions regarding price was a strike against me. Too busy answering phones and too lazy to "manage " just cost you a sale. And many future sales because I will not be referring anyone I work with your way. Sincerely, Your loss.

After listening to my Sister in Law's experience at this Dealership my Wife went down with me accompanying her and I must admit I was impressed. We were greeted timely and in a very approachable manner and most of all no pressure. After a brief time to explore the lot we were once again greeted by the same Sales Associate who was very attentive to my Wife and myself and not once did I get the impression this is just a Sales Associate out to make a buck , he genuinely cared and listened. From there the process progressed quite smoothly , Car picked out , Monthly payment desired and trade in assessed , from there it was just paperwork and financing which was once again smooth and efficient and everything promised regarding financing and all the other numbers involved were dead on and true to their word. With all that said my Wife drove away in a Brand New 2015 Mazda 3 and she couldn't be happier. A couple of Months later I went down and it was the same exact experience which tells me a lot about this Dealership .... they CARE . I had inquired about a few Cars on their Website and was promptly answered , I saw a Car of interest on their Website and drove down to the lot and was promptly greeted , I inquired about the car of interest and asked why there was no picture on the site , well my question was answered it was still being detailed and cleaned up , I was shown the Car midway through the detailing and was immediately blown away by the care and attention shown , I was politely asked if I could come back the next day and they promised the Car would be ready for a Test drive , true to their word and time given it was ready and I took a 2013 Mazda 3 Isport out for a drive and was totally impressed. Once back on the Lot the process began , I traded in my Car and received a very fair price and once again they worked with me regarding my budget and less than 2 Hours later I was driving away in my New (used Certified ) Car. My Wife and I were so impressed and satisfied with our experience that we recommended this Dealership to our Neighbors who inquired about our Cars and where we purchased them. Speaking to other people who have purchased from this Dealership, they all express the same type of experience and that speaks volumes in my play book.

I have now leased two cars from Flood, and they have been so helpful both times. My interactions have started both times with Charlie Metevier, who is warm and friendly and really wanted to make me happy. I was able to express exactly what I wanted (and did not want) and ended up feeling very satisfied with what I got and very comfortable with the people with whom I worked. I have to drive about an hour to get to Wakefield, but I will do it again and again because I feel good about them.

I just purchased a new 2015 Mazda 6 from Flood. They had the best online price around and also got me out if my current lease. I went to 10 dealerships looking at all kinds of cars, Flood was the only one who paid the remaining $1,800 in lease payments without rolling that into my new loan. I worked with Cody the sales manager and Taylor they were both friendly and helpful and got the deal done, no games or gimmicks! I would highly recommend going to Flood Mazda.

I initially went to a local Mazda competitor dealer and then went to Flood Mazda. My experience at Flood was so much better than at their competitor's. I never felt pressured or obligated to purchase and I never felt like I was being lied to. My salesman, Anthony Lombardi was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. My wife found this dealer after we had resigned ourselves to purchasing something used due to our requirements and budget not quite being aligned. We thought it was too good to be true when she stumbled across them and their new prices were competitive with the 2 year old used prices we were seeing up in the Boston MA area.I called and put a deposit down after a short chat (with Charlie) and was put in touch with one of their sales people within a few hours (Cody - great guy). There was no bait & switch, no pressure up-sell, and nothing but friendly people.We drove down that weekend & our new vehicle was waiting for us - exactly as it was advertised. The vehicle had 7 miles on the odometer. After a test drive they spent the next 2 hours on the phone finding financing that was competitive with the interest rate I got approved for before we drove down.They looked after getting the MA registration done for us as well.I've never had a smoother or more friendly and competent experience buying a new car. I highly recommend these guys. They're worth the drive from the Boston area.

Had been looking for a gently used, certified car in CT without much success. Luckily came across Flood Mazda in neighboring RI using the Car Guru website, and am so glad that I did! Charlie from internet sales was wonderful to work with and promptly answered all of my questions, and Cody Harvey was fantastic, too - He's a polite and pleasant sales associate who is very thorough in his work, yet never pushy. The customer service is phenomenal! Not only did another employee (whose name I'm not recalling) bring the 2013 CX-9 I was interested in to my CT home for me to test drive instead of my having to drive an hour to check it out, but post purchase, Flood sent another employee, Peter, again to me in CT to take the car for the mandated emissions test and then to DMV to register it for me. What a gift ! In addition to the great customer service, the price was wonderful- better than anything I'd found in CT for a comparable vehicle. We had already secured financing prior to our purchase, but the Flood finance department was able to get us a loan with an even lower interest rate. And because my car didn't come with a backup camera already installed, I was able to have that done for a fair price while we signed the multitude of papers that one needs to sign when purchasing a car. What more can you ask for in a car dealer??! I unhesitatingly recommend Flood Mazda to anyone looking for a pleasant car buying experience. We will definitely be repeat customers !!

After running into minimal or no response from two local Mazda dealerships in MA [Sentry west and Gallo] I hit the internet and found Flood Mazda in RI. After reviewing their inventory they had a car that fit my needs and wants. Sent an e-mail and made contact with Russell. He was responsive to my questions, his response was quick, he answered all my questions without hesitation and directly...no beating around the bush. I made arrangements to go visit the dealership and view the cars available that fit my needs and wants. When we arrived at the dealership and met Russell he was exactly as he was online. Personable, direct and friendly, he introduced us to Cody and the rest is history. Cody is so polite, very friendly and very knowledgeable. We took our test drive with Cody and he responded to my questions, as well as my adult children's questions directly and without hesitation. Explained all the features of the CX5. Once back at the dealership we finalized the deal....Flood Mazda is all about teamwork. All the employees I met Russell, Cody, Jim in Finance and the two in Service EXEMPLIFY the word CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Jim made the financing go smoothly, everything was prepared, explained fully and all done with the utmost professionalism.This is how a dealership should treat customers!!! My first time buying a new car. Contacted Charlie from Internet sales and arranged to see a new 2014 Mazda 3. Was surprised they did not pressure me at all. The salesman, Leo, just let my wife and I get a feel for the car. When we moved to financing they were upfront and didn't try any 4 squares or number tricks. Just simply showed me what my trade in was selling for and ended up giving me what I asked for. Even when my insurance company was taking a while to hammer out my new policy they were patient and calm, despite the fact we went past dealership closing hours. And they never asked for more than the advertised online price for the car. Which was almost $1000 less than other Mazda dealerships in the areaTo make a long story short, the salesmen were knowledgeable and respectful, the financing department was honest and accommodating, and no one tried to take advantage of us. We love our Mazda 3 and will recommend Flood Mazda to anyone who wants a great car buying experience.

I recently purchased a 2015 Mazda CX5 from Flood Mazda and I can not say enough good things about my experience with the employees at this dealership. My sales person was Joe Comforti and he was absolutely fantastic. He made what is usually a difficult, stressful experience, a complete joy. He made me feel very comfortable in my purchase and was extremely helpful in educating me about the vehicle. Having dealt with my fair share of "sleazy" sales people, Joe was a breath or fresh air. I have had my Mazda CX-5 for a month now and I love driving it! I appreciate Joe Comfortis patience with me and especially am grateful for his NOT being a pushy salesman which drove me away from other dealerships. I had looked at this model in November and with the holidays, put car shopping out of my mind. When I returned in February, Joe seemed to be very pleased to see me and let me test drive it again but was not pushy with me. On my third visit to Flood, after having almost bought a CR-V that day, I returned to Flood because I could not get the Mazda CX-5 out of my mind. My hesitation about this car was the fact that it was a Blue Reflex Mica Touring with black cloth upholstery, the ONLY thing I did not like about the car. It was suggested that I put Sand colored leather in but that really did not appeal to me. When I returned to take one more look at this car, Joe recommended that I look at color swatches. This was the answer to my prayers. My car is the classiest Mazda CX-5 zooming around Rhode Island with its gray leather upholstery. The application of the leather and heated seats was done so well and even little details such as the panel on the inside of the door was matched with the gray. It looks stupendous and my friends are very impressed in how it came out. I am so happy to have dealt with Joe and I left there feeling like I had made a new friend for life! I have been raving about Flood Mazda for the past month and hoping that we continue to have a good relationship. Of course, I must thank Russ and Jim for helping me with my first time lease. My only problem is that I LOVE the car so much, Im afraid that I will go over my mileage limit! Thanks to Flood Mazda, I am driving a fun and classy car! I am very picky, ask a lot of questions and require a salesman that is very patient. That is exactly what I got out of Charlie at flood ford. he never let on that i was driving him crazy or wasting his time which made me feel comfortable. The most common thing I have seen with salesmen is how pushy and arrogant they are and how they love to talk down to women. The worst is, is when you are telling them what you want or your concerns and not only do they not listen, they try to tell you what is "good" for you. We were given different price quotes by two different salespeople. The price presented to us on a new vehicle increased over one thousand dollars from the price advertised on the vehicle. Originally, we were given a trade in price of $1,000. We were told they might be able to give us more. They said they will see if they could find a buyer. I know that dealers don't look for buyers for trade-ins but went along with it. The next day, Nick said that they found a buyer for the trade for $2,000. Joe called and said that he could get us into a new or used vehicle for under $200 a month. The vehicle is for my 20 year old daughter who has excellent credit, a good paying job, and a good down payment. When we arrived at the dealership, the price quotes were over $200 a month for 6 years. I said not acceptable unless my daughter decides she can afford it. Joe then said that I being her mom would have to co-sign. There would be no way that she could qualify for a loan otherwise. That upset me! So I decided that we would shop for financing on our own. In the meantime, the used car that my daughter wanted decreased in price by $1,000 on the internet. I called Nick to see if it was available. First he said it was sold then called back 2 hours later to say it was not sold. We rushed down at 6:30PM on Friday, a 45 min ride to Wakefield, to put down a deposit. Now, the buyer for the trade "backed out". Was told they would try to find another buyer. They took my credit card number for the deposit but never charged my card per either Russell or Cody (not sure). He also said he would take the car off the " front line " I signed a purchase agreement subject to the trade. The next day Nick called & said he had not heard anything. He would call me Monday. I never received a call Monday. My daughter & I shopped for financing. She got approved on her own by a credit union. Nick did not call Tuesday or Wednesday. I called Thursday morning. He said he was out sick all week and was playing "catch up" He said he would try to find out what was going on and would call me back in 1/2 hour. He never called!! Now any saleman who is trying to sell a car would definately return calls. I called Friday morning. He told me he knew where we needed to be financially and they could not give us $2,000 for the trade now that the car we wanted went down in price by $1,000 & suggested other trades that had come into the dealership. I said we do not want other trades. We want the 2010 Mazda 3 that we put on deposit one week ago. Even though we were deceived by them, we would take the $1,000 on the trade. He said that he would have to check to see if our car was still available! He would call me back. At that point, my suspicions were confirmed. He called back 5 minutes later to tell me that our car was sold. I was furious!! My daughter was heartbroken. He said he did not sell it and still suggested other trades. I said that we cannot do business there because of the lies and deceit. Basically, we were treated like fools and absolutely not taken seriously at all. So, we went to Tasca Mazda where we met a very kind and pleasant salesman, Tom Sabetta, who worked with us for 4 hours and got my daughter into a 2013 white mazda 3 financed on her own by Mazda with 2.24% financing with payments under $200 a month. He even helped her get insurance quotes. We were even treated to lunch! I guess Tom took us seriously! A big thank you to Tom for saving the day. Mike Flood advertises transparency, value pricing, simple tade-in policy, and respect. Unfortunately, we did not experience this at Flood Mazda. Also, my husband loves the Mazda CX5 and will be considering this in the near future. We will go see Tom Sabetta at Tasca Mazda!

I went in and was fairly new at buying a vehicle, and every question I asked I was looked at as if I were dumb for asking a question. When he was on the phone with my insurance company, he continuously rolled his eyes and put his hand in a fist slamming the desk. It was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. We couldn't get the insurance worked out as quickly as he wanted to, so he told me to just leave so I don't have to be frustrated anymore or come in again (because he was sick of dealing with me). Stefan was great, but Stephen was nice in the beginning, but just got angry as time went on and it was extremely unpleasant. When I asked about the extra $500 I noticed on the lease he drew up, he told me that was my rebate for being a repeat customer (but no one had told me I was getting a rebate previously) so I asked about it. He proceeded to tell me 'it didn't just fall from the sky, it's always automatically included' as if I was already supposed to know I was getting an added discount. I absolutely hated the sales side. But, I have had experience with the Service at Flood Mazda and it was awesome! But, I definitely will not be going back there to buy another car, or trade in a currently owed vehicle. STAY AWAY. Very nice people, was happy that the local Mazda dealer was able to come up with a competitive price to Mazda dealers further away. Had everything set up and agreed to before the car was transferred from another dealer (stick-shift Mazda5's are hard to find) and options installed. The paperwork they pulled out was *completely* different from the agreed upon pricing and financing. They were trying to finance $1,600 more than what should have been at our agreed to price. They finally came down on that so that I was "only" paying $300 more than the agreed to price, but in the process had to ditch the 0.9% financing I had qualified for a slightly higher rate. The financing and total price including tax, title, and registration fees was part of the original agreement with the salesman setup days in advance. In the end, I paid just a hair more for the car. They blamed it on an inexperienced salesman, but I find that rather difficult to believe. I'm almost positive this was their intended sales tactic in this case. On a plus side, a number of our friends in the area are Mazda owners, and state that the service shop at this dealer is truly top notch. I guess in the long run, having excellent car service is more important than the sales experience. I certainly don't mind paying just a little more for the car if that's what needs to happen, especially for such an affordable car. Being baldly lied to however is completely inexcusable. I would have asked for my agreement in writing if there had been any shred of ambiguity on what we would pay, and what the financing was. The agreement was made crystal clear on multiple occasions with the dealer, and I decided to take them at their word. If you buy here, make sure all agreements are in writing before committing, and double check all the paperwork before signing. They certainly didn't go out of their way to highlight the $1,600 price increase they tried to sneak in there. You can count me exceptionally disappointed. I will never buy another car through Flood Mazda again. Love the car though.

Very nice people, was happy that the local Mazda dealer was able to come up with a competitive price to Mazda dealers further away. Had everything set up and agreed to before the car was transferred from another dealer (stick-shift Mazda5's are hard to find) and options installed. The paperwork they pulled out was *completely* different from the agreed upon pricing and financing. They were trying to finance $1,600 more than what should have been at our agreed to price. They finally came down on that so that I was "only" paying $300 more than the agreed to price, but in the process had to ditch the 0.9% financing I had qualified for a slightly higher rate. The financing and total price including tax, title, and registration fees was part of the original agreement with the salesman setup days in advance. In the end, I paid just a hair more for the car. When I visit a retailer intending to make a purchase, I expect to be treated with honesty and respect. Flood Mazda, unfortunately, fails to live up to either of these basic expectations. The sales staff at Flood disrespect both the time and the intelligence of the consumer.My girlfriend, a first-time car buyer, visited Flood to take advantage of a well-advertised promotion for President's Day. Before visiting the dealership, she was assured that she qualified for the promotion in question. When she arrived, however, she was met with 'I don't know who you spoke to, but...' and was coerced through various means into agreeing to a purchase that cheated her out of at least $1000 over the advertised price. I will spare you the details.The sales staff and management at Flood Mazda exemplify all of the most unpleasant stereotypes associated with car salesmen. Unless you would like to deal with a dealership whose personnel are smarmy, dishonest, and disrespectful, I would suggest looking elsewhere for your new vehicle.
