Actually Crazy Customer Service
I requested information about a car from this dealer using the cars.Com app. The salesperson texted, e-mailed, and called me shortly after. When I didn't respond immediately, the salesperson even e-mailed me to "remind" me of an appointment I had never made to see the car. I told him I had never made such an appointment and to not contact me further. Later, the salesman e-mailed me to say that he was sorry to have missed me at the appointment I never made and had gone so far as to cancel in advance. Not sure what they're teaching their associates but it was not appreciated by this prospective customer. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
Only place in DC I will buy a car
I just completed the purchase transaction on the 6th vehicle I have leased or bought from Fitzgerald for my family since 2002. Three Subarus, two Toyotas and now a Hyundai. They are a fair-dealing, straight-forward, no gimmick, no haggle dealership. I wouldn't shop anywhere else.

Excellent sales experience with Mike Halpern
Once again, I had a first-rate sales experience at FitzMall with the help of Mike Halpern as we shopped for and then leased a new Hyundai Santa Fe to replace an older model. He was knowledgeable about the pros and cons of the various models, provided the information for us to make an informed choice, without pressuring us about to choose a particular vehicle over another. Once we decided on a model to lease, he was prompt and efficient in handling the paperwork and arranging for delivery. He even brought the car to our home and drove the old one away on an extremely hot day, taking the appropriate time to educate us about the new model. Easy car buying
Other than the fact that this dealership building and interiors are somewhat dated, I have no complaints about buying a car at Fitzgerald Subaru. Both Peter and Jim, the salesmen who helped us through the buying process, were great. I especially love the "no haggle" pricing. I got a great deal and actually didn't mind the buying process.

Needed to purchase a vehicle and was not looking forward to the buying process. Found a used outback online and went to check it out. After looking over the vehicle, I went inside to talk to a salesman. Met Peter Camacho and was impressed by his relaxed approach. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, a welcome change from other salesman I have encountered over the years. He got the keys to allow me to inspect the outback. It was a beautiful vehicle. Told Peter I would return the next day for a test drive. He had no problem with that and did not try to use any pressure. Returned for the test drive, Peter had the outback ready to go. All during the test drive, Peter answered all my questions, and never pressured me. Decided to puchase vehicle and with no haggle policy, process was smooth and pain free. Bob in the finance dept. was very helpful and explained my options without pressuring me. Process was quick and pleasant. Also ordered cargo net and Peter made sure I got it before a trip I had planned If you are looking for a vehicle, do yourself a favor and contact Peter. You'll be glad you did! P.S. After buying the outback, I went on a two week trip covering over 2,300 miles. This included mostly highway driving but also some mountain driving. The outback handled everything perfectly.

Bought a car from Jay R at Fitzgerald Hyundai. No sales pressure and the whole process took about four hours. I identified the car I wanted, they had it ready for me, we took and test drive and then bought the car. Jay was really great and made me feel at ease with the whole process- he is basically the opposite of what you have experienced with car salesmen. The no-haggle prices were fantastic as well. A couple of things to mention: steer clear of Ivonne R, as she is irritating. I made the mistake of talking to her. Go with Jay instead it's worth the wait believe me. Also, there is a $299 paperwork fee, so keep that in mind with the no-haggle prices. Also, the F&I guy pushed the warranties, which was not as much pressure as some dealerships but still some pressure. I wish those guys were salaried like the salespeople, but such is life. Overall, I highly reccomend Fitzgerald Hyundai.

I recently went in to look at a new Subaru Forester. I knew what I wanted but was on the fence about buying or not. The sales staff didn't push me into buying anything but instead offered to take a look at my existing car and see what they would give me for it. I was shocked! (in a positive way). So I went home and looked at the trade in amount and the new car's selling price and determined that now was the perfect time to buy a car from them. The staff was very patient with me and within a couple hours I was driving off the lot. I know I'll be back, the next time I need to buy another car.

As a first time car buyer, I was especially wary of salesmen/women trying to coerce me into making a purchase. I had visited a few other dealerships and wasn't satisfied with either the used vehicles that had to offer nor the customer service. Then I came to Fitzgerald Automall at White Flint where Mike Halpern was very helpful and reasonable in listening to my concerns, desires, and respected my budget range. I had a great experience purchasing my car from Fitzgerald White Flint Subaru. I new the vehicle I wanted but still wanted to test drive it. I also needed to convince my wife although she was pretty much onboard. I worked with Kenny Li. Kenny worked really hard to serve us without pressuring us which can happen in these situations. I visited the showroom one day and he gave us the quote. I got three other quotes and came back a week later after I asked him to find the color I wanted. He went the extra mile and we set up a time. I provided my quotes and he beat every one of them. In the process, he was very patient with my wife and was very customer service oriented to me. Thanks Kenny for a great experience. After visiting other dealerships, Kimberly Francis in Kensington, MD really stood out because she was calm, knowledgeable and a straight shooter. The feeling of "no tricks" at Subaru is astonishing after you've been hugged and bullied by entire staffs of ignoramuses at other places. With Kimberly, you can take your time and ask questions -- and she always had the answers. You can also leave and come back (without fielding a lot of pushy phone calls between visits), and really get to know the car. It was also comfortable to be working with a woman on something as big as the purchase of a new car because I was on a learning curve, and that was okay! I will never go to Honda again.

He was very patient and I liked that he didn't push me into buying my car quickly (even though I first went on the last day of the month, which I know counts a lot as agents try to reach their monthly goals). I felt the whole process was all about me and about my needs. I liked that before I test-drove my car, he asked me to first sit in the driver's seat and explain all the features of the car to me (as opposed to another dealer at a different place who sat on the driver seat and I could hardly see what he was showing me from my passenger seat). I purchased my first car on December 7, 2014. Mr. Feleke Kenaa was the sales representative who helped me through my experience and he was great. I told him the price range for the vehicle I wanted and the type. He was able to successful show me three types of Hyundai Sonata (Sport, Limited and Basic) before I made the decision to purchase the Limited edition. He was professional, kind, attentive and caring with myself and my family members as we went thru the buying process. Although it has been only a few days, I am deeply satisfied with my purchase. Mr. Kenaa was kind enough to call the next day to see how my car experience has been and I greatly appreciate it. I would recommend Mr. Kenaa for anyone's purchasing experiences.

Bought a used Subaru from them
I bought a used Subaru, pardon me - preowned, from them this weekend and I can't say that I enjoyed the experience but it wasn't painful like other dealerships I have visited. The salesman, Jay R. was quite helpful and willing to show us alternatives. We bought my wife's Sonata from them three years ago and I am thiniking I won't even go to other dealerships in the future. As long as we are in this area.
Bought a new car
I recently went in and traded my 08 Sonata for a new 15 one. Sales rep was Jay, who was very nice, straight forward and easy going. We had no problems at all. When it came down to price he very kindly did what he could and we settled on a good one. The process was over actually in an afternoon, from the test drive to signing the papers. He was also great in letting me get everything from my old car to my new one. And, he helped me set up the bluetooth and everything. Overall, it was a great experience.
Bought a 2012 Mini atb Fitz
This was a very good experience. Fitzgerald was the only dealership within 100 miles of our house that had the year, make, color and model car with the right miles and options my wife and I were looking for. The night before we went to look at the car, Ben T spent close to an hour answering my questions via chat. He was not trying to sell me the car as much as he was trying to honestly answer my questions which he did. I very much appreciated that because we were not disappointed in what we saw when we got to the dealership the next afternoon. That was important because I had to take a day off from work to go see the car. I've bought numerous cars over the years, so I like the idea of the no haggle price...However there was some haggling when it came to the price of our trade-in. In the end, Fitzgerald gave us a fair price for our trade-in and a few hours later, we were driving home in a new car.

I was looking for a lease on a new car. I received a great deal of helpful information on the Subaru as well as a thorough test drive. I opted for the Hyundai Elantra instead (I had already driven it elsewhere) and received an in depth introduction to the new car by the salesman. I worked with Jacob Camacho buying a new Outback 2015. I wanted a set of specific options hence the car had to be factory ordered. From the very 1st meeting to the vehicle delivery I got an outstanding service. Accurate information, customer focus, continuous follow up. During the whole process, there was no pressure at any moment. Price offered by the dealer was slightly higher than other dealer I checked but Fitzgerald matched the offer right away. Absolutely no complaints.

I just bought a 2015 Subaru Outback and I was very pleased with the services of Peter Camacho. He ordered the vehicle I wanted and kept me informed about its arrival. He always answered any question I had and he never pressured me to buy additional features that I didn't want. He made the entire car buying business a pleasure. This is my second Subaru from Fitzgerald and the service on my last one (a 2004) was excellent. That is the major reason I went back to Fitzgerald's for my new Outback.

I recently bought a Subaru BRZ from Fitzgerald Subaru. It was an easy, enjoyable experience - I was comparing the BRZ with a Hyundia Genesis coup, and even though it was different sales organizations they made it simple to try both out several times. Peter Camacho was the salesman, and he was knowledgeable and helpful, with no annoying sales tactics or pressure. Look him up if you're in the market for a Subaru.
Old fashioned quality and customer service!
Fitzgerald was recommended to me for maintenance of a 2011 Genesis with a navigation issue by a couple of friends. I dealt with Gil. Scott was also included on the communications. WOW! What a difference a dealership can make. A maintenance repair was totally mishandled by another dealer in College Park and I showed up skeptical and more than a bit frustrated with what had occurred over this issue. They knew the story of what I had gone through and did everything opposite to show me there are people and dealers - and ultimately car manufacturers - that are still customer centric. They offered me a loaner while they took care of my vehicle, that I declined - as I was more than willing to drive around without the navigation/radio unit for a couple weeks - as Fitzgerald did not sell me the car and was stepping in to resolve the horrible experience I had with another dealer. Gil was whom I dealt with most - and he was consistent and proactive with communicating with me. He showed me nothing but respect and even insisted on having someone drive me to the Metro so I could get to work, while they pulled the unit out - as there was a threat of rain. I picked the car up and it was working like a charm. And they had talked with Hyundai - and I assume explained to them what I had gone through - and they took care of the repair! It is working again - actually better than ever - as I have now features working that I did not know were available in the base model - but as I read the owner's manual they should always have been working. They also accommodated me with basic service for an oil change and safety inspection I requested at the last minute. Every person I dealt with there was friendly, outgoing - and had one thing on their mind - servicing the customer right! Obviously that philosophy comes from the top down. I keep my cars for a long time - and Fitzgerald will be servicing this one for many years to come! And when it is time to replace, I would not be surprised if I buy my next car from them as well! Good buying experience, TERRIBLE service departmnt
Tom Redlack was my salesman and he was very thorough and I felt very little pressure on his side. Believe it or not, Tom was the only one who allowed me to test drive the car before deciding because lot of the dealership I visited had a "look but don't touch" policy. Long story short, I ended up purchasing the vehicle. Unfortunately, the great experience stops there. A week into ownership I take my car in for the features I wanted to add. The check in process was horrendous. Being new to this dealership I really didn't have a specific person to talk. The first three guys brush me off and tell me they're busy and told me to simply "wait". My wife and I ended up standing there for a good 20 minutes frustrated that no one would take the time to help us. Finally, in comes Martin to save the day. Martin was courteous and immediately greeted us as he entered through the doors. He walked us through the process and provided us with a loaner car. Initially I was quoted 2 hours so I we decided have a nice lunch while waiting. The 2 hour wait turned to a 4 hour wait but, being optimistic, we decided to stay in the area to past the time. I'm from VA and going down the beltway and back up was not an option on this fine Friday afternoon (rush hour). 4.5 hours later we come back to check on the car and guess what? Apparently the car won't be done until the next morning so we decided to drive home and face the unrelenting traffic. I then come back to the dealer first thing in the morning and as I entered I noticed Martin busy with quite a few customers so I seek help from his coworker. This was the same guy who rudely brushed us off the following day but this time opted to help. I sign a few papers, grab my receipt and headed out the door to wait for my car. 25 minutes later still no sign of my car. Again, another gleaming light of hope and Martin was there to help me out. New Forester Purchase
I purchased a 2005 Outback Wagon from this dealer in 2005 and just purchased a 2015 Forester 2.5i Touring in mid-August. My salesman was Peter Camacho. I found the atmosphere there to be relaxed, not in the least bit pushy, and not hurried. In particular, dealing with Peter Camacho was a very pleasant experience indeed and I would unhesitatingly send anyone interested in purchasing a Subaru to Peter. I was trading in a 2010 Lexus i250, RWD, manual transmission, and the bargaining over the trade in price went quite well. I had considered trading it in for a 2010 Lexus RX350, but the Lexus dealership offered me a ridiculously low-ball offer for my Lexus and I left. The Venetian Red Forester I wanted was not supposed to be in/available until a week later and somehow they got into the dealership and ready to go almost a full week ahead. I left feeling quite satisfied/pleased at the final price upon which we agreed and if we when we trade in the 2005 Outback, we'll go back there again.
Easy, Hassle Free Buying Experience
I have purchased three Subarus from Fitzgerald's and have had my cars serviced there for years (and am extremely happy with how my car and I are treated). My most recent experience was yesterday, buying a Forrester from Peter Camacho. He is an easy to work with guy who delivered exactly as he promised. I am very happy with my new car and Mr. Camacho and the Fitzgerald team supporting the sale making the experience easy from understanding the options to servicing the car. My next Subaru will also be from Fitzgerald.
New Subaru Forester at Best Price
This Sunday I bought a new Subaru Forester at Fitzgerald. I shopped around and used some of the buying services, but ultimately chose Fitzgerald because they offered me the least expensive price for a car with the same accessories as elsewhere. One thing I appreciated about the buying process is that I was given a print out listing the price and add-ons such as tax so that I could make clear comparisons. Also, I was given a print out describing each car I considered. Peter Camacho was a great low-pressure salesman. I didn't have to deal with a barrage of e-mails and he remembered my likes and dislikes over several weeks. One day when he was busy, another salesman helped me, and I appreciated this cooperation.
Excellent Customer Service
I really had no idea what I wanted to buy since my favorite Jeep had unexpectedly blown it's engine and I needed something to drive. Jim patiently helped me test drive lots of makes and models as I tried to make the best choice that I could afford. I finally decided on a new Subaru CrossTrek. It's been a couple weeks since purchase and I love it!!! The gas mileage is amazing and it's quite zippee!! Jim also helped me through financing and even made that process easy and quick! If you are in the market for a new car please go by and ask for Jim you won't be disappointed! I had a lot of anxiety about the buying process but this was a great experience! Poor quality of work!
I took my car in for a 15,000 mile service. Part of the service was to rotate the tires. Not hard. I got the car home to find that they hadn't rotated the tires. People make mistakes. They forget to do things. It happens to all of us. What was disappointing was their lack of caring. They were unconcerned that I needed to take time out of my day again to fix something they forgot to do. It gets worse. They claimed to have pictures showing the work was completed. They refused to admit they failed to do the work. The rear tires had lots of tread and the front tires had little. Clearly, the tires were not rotated. The service manager said that you want to keep the better tires on the back to prevent fish tailing. Come on. You want the best tires up front on a car with front wheel drive. In effect he admitted that the tires were not rotated. I wonder what else wasn't done? They did wash my car. Offered a detailing of the car and credited me back $25.00. I don't know what your time is worth, but I value my time north of twenty five bucks. No apology for a mistake on their part. They wouldn't admit that the tires hadn't been rotated. I have a lot of experience working on cars, in fact I loved working on my old Triumph Spitfire. I feel bad for anyone, male or female, who may not have hands on experience with cars as Fitzgerald Hyundai will take advantage in their lack of knowledge.

On June 17th I walked into this dealership to seek out a brand new vehicle. I have never owned a brand new car before and by the time I walked into this dealership I was very much done with the whole "haggle your way through a great deal" with the other dealerships in the area. I stated my needs and concerns and came in armed with a wealth of knowledge but I didn't need to defend my position. I stated my wants and desires and they helped me meet my needs with what I could afford as well as a little wiggle room on their end. I believe that the car buying experience starts with this company. I was helped by so many people at Fitzgeralds. Marcus Reid the sales man who walked me through the process, Jeff S. I don't remember his last name but he is the manager there, Jay-R ( Marcus and Jay-R work as a team) who finalized the deal with me because the day I decided to buy Marcus was on his day off, but Marcus called me to make sure I was happy and that he, on his day off, would have them in service get the car prepared for me so that all i had to do is just sign the paper work and drive away. Seem-less work!! Greg Lewis the general manager who made sure I was happy with the process the numbers and any other products that I chose to buy. (Lifetime Buyer Protection Plan). I have recommended this dealership to family and friends and my cousin is now looking to buy from these exact same people. I couldn't be happier with my choice in car and the dealership. They have truly made this experience such a good one that my next car will be from them.

Knowledgeable and Pleasant
Could not have asked for a better sales person to show my mother and father-in-law an automobile than Kimberly F. She really knew her product. In-laws said that the test drive was the best they had ever been on and was very informative. Really wish I could have seen this meeting progress to a sale so I could evaluate the complete process, but another brand auto was chosen due to overall dimension preferences.

This was the first car I've ever bought and was surprised how easy it was. They don't haggle the prices, my sales rep Ben was really nice and gave me three options. No Gimmicks Car Dealership
Jay R from Fitzgerald was very prompt in response to my web inquiry. When we walked in, he politely presented us with the options on cars, financing. Unlike other dealerships, we did not see the car price increased by several thousands. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience; we walked out with keys to the car in our hands. Went to the North Bethesda Fitz Hyundai and had a terrific experience! Marcus Reid was attentive, thorough, and knowledgeable without being pushy at all. As a woman buying my first SUV, he patiently walked me through each feature and checked in to make sure I was understanding. Despite the fact that my husband was with me, he encouraged me to ask question since I would be the driver (something that did not happen at the other dealerships)I felt like he was very up front about what could and could not be done price wise and I left very excited and happy with my purchase!

We went to the White Flint Fitzgerald Hyundai to buy 2 Accent cars for our twin daughters. M. Ben Pamodou Touray was very courteous and helpful. Even though I did not purchase a car, Monday morning, he was calling me to see how I was doing and whether or not I was still looking for a vehicle. I couldn't have been happier with my experience buying my new Sonata at Fitzgerald Hyundai. I primarily worked with Ben Samntani, but everyone I encountered there was just great. Ben quoted me a price over e-mail, and when I got to the dealership to sign the paperwork, it was the same price, down to the penny. No junk fees or any of the tricks you hear some dealerships play just to get you in the door. They even made me a very generous trade-in offer (matching what I'd been offered elsewhere.) I had financing available through my bank; they gave me a better rate. Even F&I, which is normally dreadful, was quick and easy. They did everything they could to make it a great experience (and the car is awesome, too!) The only small suggestion I would make is if they could find some way to speed up the whole orientation process that Hyundai requires. (If you are buying with a spouse, you might want to consider "divide and conquer" - have one person go to F&I while the other does the car orientation. In retrospect, that would've moved us along much more quickly.) With all the technology in vehicles now, it takes a long time to go over all the features. But that's a Hyundai thing, not a Fitzgerald thing. You'll find that any dealer go to.

I recently bought a new Subaru Crosstrek from Fitz Mall from Jay R. This was my first purchase of a car from Fitz and indeed, it was the first new car that I have ever bought. Their prices were fair and inspired me to drive all the way from Baltimore to buy from them. I had visited a few Subaru dealers around Baltimore and didn't like the whole traditional sales process in terms of fighting for every dollar. there is a decent chance that I could have saved 50 more bucks buying elsewhere, but the hours of haggling and the whole process would definitely not be worth it. The car that I wanted wasn't available, so they gave me a loaner and I came back the next day and indeed, the car was there and perfect. The whole team were a class act and I left a happy customer.

I bought a 2013 Hyundai Sonata from Fitzgerald in November, 2012, and liked the process. Their web site showed the "no-haggle" price of the car, less tags, taxes, and dealer prep, so I knew going in what the car would cost me. When I decided to upgrade to a 2014 Genesis, I went to Fitzgerald, even though there are at least 4-5 other Hyundai dealers closer to me, simply because they are the only ones I've dealt with who don't play pricing games. Dealt with Mr. Kenaa this time. He was very patient, let me take the same car out repeatedly for long test drives, trying to establish if the shaking in the steering wheel and seat was typical of the car. We took another car out, identical except for the color scheme, and found that the vibrations were only in the first (my preferred) car. Steve, the service manager then took a long ride with me, and noted the same problem. He thought it MIGHT be a balancing problem, but more likely was a problem with one or more of the tires. Back at the store, the three of us talked with the manager, Pete, who suggested swapping the tires off the known good car. After clearing it with the "upstairs people," they made the swap, and I took the car out for the third time (plus the drive with its twin), and this time, it ran beautifully. So we had a deal, other than my Sonata's trade-in. They wanted to offer me $18k, I wanted $19,500, and we quickly settled on $19,000, which was very close to what both Kelly Blue book and the dealer's "Black Book" said it was worth, as well as being the same price CarMax had offered me for the Sonata a few hours before. It was a long day, because of the repeated test drives, which took about 1/2 hour each all by themselves, and then the time to swap the tires and for the service manager to take his own test drive after swapping the tires. I was there about eight hours total. But everyone there was unfailingly cooperative and respectful, which is a refreshing change from dealerships where I've caught them in the most brazen lies (a dealer once tried to tell me the wheels on a particular car were 14", even though I had the specs right in front of me showing they were 13"; we looked at the car's tires, and I said to the salesman, "Congratulations - you've managed to put tires that say 13 inches on them on your 14-inch wheels...") . I was happy with the price, and even if maybe someone else could have given me a somewhat better price, it wouldn't have been worth the mental turmoil. Good operation all around.
I returned today as earlier in the week the part ( a spring) needed to repair my gas tank cover was out of stock. The part came in yesterday and I was notified and able to make "a wait" appointment for this morning. Great service. Rishi Sehgal who handled the repair was very courteous. When he came into the reception area to notify another customer their car was ready in let me know I could come to get my car in about 5 min. Very thoughtful. Work completed on time and done properly. While in the waiting area the young lady at the service desk changed the channel for me from cooking to CNN and returned to increase the sound. She was very nice about my requests. Also I need to mention a young man, Andy, who brings the cars to the customers. I usually do not drive this car and he was very patient and courteous in explaining to me how all the heating/cooling, etc. buttons worked. Since this was a warranty item and there was no profit for the company it was very impressive how much everyone went out of their way to accommodate my needs.
I was in a hurry to purchase a new vehicle because mine had recently been dubbed a total loss. I had decided to look at both the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Honda Odyssey. I decided to venture to Fitzgerald because of the great reputation in my daughter's school and our church community - Holy Cross. When I walked in I asked for a senior rep, he was out for the day, but Mr. Ben Samtani stepped right up to assist me with my search. He immediately found me the color and features I wanted in the Santa Fe, and we took it for a test drive....I LOVED IT! I decided to also test the Odyssey just to make sure my mind was made so Mr. Ben and Mr. Pete suggested I go to a near by dealership to see if I could make my decision easier that day. I did and it was no contest, my dad and I returned to Fitzgerald and they ran the numbers, giving me a lower APR than my previously approved financing from my bank, but a higher payment that I wanted to pay. Mr. Ben and Mr. Pete suggested I look at a Sonata because it had all the features I wanted (Backup Camera, Sun/Moon Roof, Push to Start, etc) for less than the price I was looking to pay for a Santa Fe. Long Story Short, I'm so happy with my purchase it was the best decision I could have made, Mr. Ben and Mr. Pete did not feel like sales consultants but dear uncles assisting me in making the right choice. I look forward to buying another vehicle...from Fitzgerald and from Mr. Ben Samtani!!!

I didn't know much about the process or car before walking into Fitzgerald but Feleke was more than willing to educate me on everything I needed to know. After purchasing the car, Feleke called multiple times to check in and make sure I was doing okay with the car. This review is long overdue; simply because I've used dealer Marcus Reed multiple times, leaving a satisfied customer each times. I was so impressed with Marcus the first time I bought my car, that I used him for a second time; and also recommended him to my sister and she bought her car from him too. My sister and I are not particularly savvy car purchasers, but Marcus took that as a time to teach us and have patience to ensure we understood the process and paperwork, rather then looking at us as easy prey. Great Car Buying Experience
We wanted to replace (and upgrade from) our 2010 Hyundai Accent, so we searched online for a 2014 Elantra. Fitzgerald Auto Malls' Web site had the most detailed information about the cars of any of the Web sites we tried, and it had a black Elantra Limited with all of the features we wanted. After we checked other dealers, Fitzgerald clearly had the lowest price for the vehicle we wanted. Ben Samtani handled the sale, and he was very, very helpful. He walked us carefully through all of the many new features of the 2014 Elantra Limited. (If you shop for a Hyundai at Fitzgerald, ask for Ben Samtani!). The sales process was quick and painless. This was a very pleasant car buying experience.
New car purchase
I recently purchased a Sante Fe Sport from Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Rockville. My salesperson was Feleke Kenaa and he was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the different features of the car. He seemed to be forthright and honest, without being pushy. This dealership was able to locate the exact car I wanted with the features that I wanted. Another dealership told me that what I wanted was unavailable in the metro DC area. This was a pleasant shopping experience and I would recommend this dealership, and this salesperson. So far, I love my sante fe sport, and have received many compliments on it.

I needed to purchase a car fast. I had purchased a car from Fitzgerald Automall (Germantown) in the past and was very please with their service. Great Hyundai Purchase from Fitzgerald Hyundai
I have lived in the Metro Washington DC area for more than 20 years and never felt that Fitzgerald Auto Malls ever tried to "cheat" "lie" or be dishonest with me. With that being said I do feel very differently about the Sales Department vs. the Service Department. *FULL DISCLOSURE - I used to work in the sales department and never worked in the service department. I rank the Sales department as a 5 star because I have never had an issue with a salesperson either giving me direct answers to my questions (sometimes in writing other times directly connecting me to the manufacturer representative for confirmation). I (or my family) have purchased 5 Hyundai vehicles and 2 Chrysler vehicles plus 4 used vehicles of varying brands. I have to rank the Service Department at 3 stars because I have noticed a shift in the pricing philosophy. When I first purchased a vehicle with Fitzmall it came with the green book and was a lifetime program. The price was $339 more than internet price but came with a loaner car and service discounts. Now it is over $600 and the booklet is gone; however, there are cash/credits for service. I think the new program is not better - but that is my opinion. I have not received any explanation that is satisfactory to me as to why the change. I am certain it was a business decision - it is just not one I prefer. My salesperson this time was Larry Payne. I leased a 2013 Hyundai Azera from him after my 2004 Hyundai Sonata was totaled in a collision on I-495. The process took 20 minutes to land on the car and once the I made my decision the car and the paperwork were ready within the requested time frame. I arrived for delivery and the car was cleaned and ready to go as planned. The finance person Kathy was professional and efficient and we were in and out in less than 10 minutes. The process was painless and the team of Pete Hemnani, Larry Payne, Kathy, were fantastic. I would also like to thank the guys in the detail and wash bay. They cleaned my car and prepared it for delivery on a very cold and snowy day without complaint and were fast and efficient. THANK YOU!!!!
Fitzgerald Auto Mall - excellent sales and service
Rishi in the service department was so impressive in helping me with a warrenty issue I decided to give Fitzgerald a go for the purchase of a new Hyundai. Rishi introduced me to Marcus Reid who took the time to listen to myself (a woman) and to understand what it was I was looking for. My inclination was to replace the vehicle (sonata) with a more updated version. Marcus took the time to let me test drive 5 different vehicles, displaying limitless patience and fielding my novice questions with unbounded knowledge of each of these vehicles. I feel in love with the 2014 Elantra GT "style package" and am happy to say I got the car I wanted. This was not only attibuted to Marcus but also Pete (sales manager) in securing the great financing and fair pricing for this vehicle. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend this dealership to everyone - too bad they don't have dealerships in every city, as everyone should have access to such a great buying experience!!!!
Waste of time
I kept getting emails from the dealer but every time I sent an email questioning the mechanics and quality about the car I never received an answer. So I just trashed any correspondence that didn't have answers to my questions.

He did not pressure me in any way and took time to explain and simplify the car buying process. He was not selling the car, he was helping me buy the car. Good Service experience
Great customer service!!! I have been experiencing some unusual problem with my new hyundai Santa Fe 2013. Andy and Brian from The Rockville Fitzgerald service department have been very helpful and responsive in finding and resolving the problem with the car. The unusual problem actually required the service tech John to come all the way to my house to trouble shoot. John was very professional and took his time to figure out all the possible cause of the problem. The malfunction appears to have been resolved so far and Andy, the service manager called me a few weeks after the repair to follow up with the result.
Another Great Experience
This was my second trip to Fitzgerald Auto Mall, in which I leased a Hyundai Elantra. Both times I met with Feleke Kenaa, who was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I also couldn't help but notice that all the personnel throughout the dealership were very friendly. As far as my personal experience, I got exactly what I wanted and was very satisfied with the terms, price,etc. I was also given various scenarios and comparisons so in the final analysis, we covered all bases and got the best deal for me and my budget.
Sonata Hybrid leased, a great experience
The buying experience here was fantastic. we went in and the car we wanted to test drive was waiting for us. Our salesman, Marcus Reid, was patient and pleasant. he gave us all the information we asked for and made sure we didn't have to wait unnecessarily. He was attentive and focused on us, not distracted with other customers. We told there where we wanted to be on a monthly payment and they offered two options for leasing or buying. The facilities were very nice, there was a great playroom for my 3-year old daughter. We leased a new vehicle and have been very happy so far with the process.
Exactly what I needed at the price I wanted
I recently walked into Fitzgerald Hyundai and was helped by Feleke Kenaa. Feleke's professionalism made it easy for me to narrow down my search to a specific Hyundai Sonata. They did not have the color I wanted in stock, but they gave me a loaner Sonata and I had the exact car I wanted the very next day. Their no-haggle pricing made buying this car a breeze. There was no hard sell, no "going to see the manager", and no need for me negotiate. I would gladly refer this dealership, and Feleke specifically, to any friend of mine wanting to buy a Hyundai.
Car Buying Experience
We wanted to replace our 2006 Hyundai Sonata, so we searched online for a 2014 Sonata. Fitzgerald Auto Malls' Web site had the most detailed information about the cars of any of the Web sites we tried. Fitzgerald also had the lowest prices. Ben Samtani handled the sale, and he was very, very helpful. He showed us the many new features (compared to 2006) of the 2014 Sonata. After we completed the sale, he made sure our mobile phones were linked to the car's Bluetooth, and that we familiar with the car's controls. Overall, this was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had.
We recently purchased a new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from Fitzgerald. The car buying process, which can normally be long, arduous, and stressful, went very well. The model we wanted was not in stock at the dealership, but that was not an obstacle. The dealer went out of their way to find the identical car at another dealer at the original quoted price. The fact that Fitzgerald Automotive always goes out of their way for customer satisfaction is a key reason why we have bought a number of cars from Fitzgerald.

I highly recommend Fitzgerald Auto Mall's Hyundai Service facility and Mr. Ken Horn, one of the service managers. When making a left turn recently, the front left axle on my 2002 Hyundai Elantra separated. Upon inspecting the damage, Mr. Horn said it should never have happened and asked Hyundai of America to authorize repairing the car at no charge. The Fitzgerald company supported his assessment and Hyundai agreed to cover the cost of the repair -- a substantial savings for me. Easiest car purchase we ever made
Buying our Subaru Outback from Fitzgerald Automall White Flint was the easiest auto purchase we've made in forty years! We had done our research, knew what we wanted, and had contacted several other dealers. No one could match the price and ease of purchase that we got at Fitzgerald. We contacted them online and received a response from Peter Camacho. We told him what we were looking for, and although they did not have the exact model we wanted in their current inventory, he said he would find what we were looking for. It was worth it to us to drive nearly an hour to make the purchase. Peter was very helpful, gave us some options that we hadn't considered, processed the paperwork, and walked us through the features of the car. Great service, speedy communication
I had a lot of work done on my car, and the service staff was capable of giving me a solid estimate. They just listened to the car's noise and nailed the problem. Really great communications as well, to keep me informed of the repairs process and get me on my way.

Earlier, I reviewed my initial experience purchasing a car with Fitzgerald Automall White Flint Mall, Rockville MD. The car was in shipment at the time of the purchase. Fitzgerald Automall was upfront about the probable delivery time. The car came mid-January as they predicted could be the earliest delivery date, but they made were clear that could take until the end of the month. I made the purchase in late December. I was very happy when they called a couple of weeks ago and said the car had arrived. Again, the process was transparent, efficient, and I was not subject to a lot of inaccurate information. The sales person, Kimberly F., took the initiative and followed up informing me about the delivery date the entire time. This was absolutely the most positive car purchase I've been a part of. Over the next few years I can only hope the quality of the service will equal the quality of the sales experience. I highly recommend the Fitzgerald White Flint Mall dealership to those looking for a fair market value without a lot hassle. Just shop around and see if the price they offer is competitive...let them know if you don't think so....I found out it was competitive. Note: the only slightly off-putting experience was a brief discussion about "warranty" options. These may represent a value to some, but did not to me. The irritating portion is that I had to sign an acknowledgement that they attempted to sale me the warranties. I believe that is a franchise requirement from Subaru, not the dealer. That said, the sales persons responsible for this aspect of the deal were very respectful and considerate of my decline.
We just bought a 2014 Veloster from Fitzgerald in White Flint. This is my first new car and I'm very happy. Our salesman Jacob Camacho was awesome. He spent almost the entire day with us and was very friendly and patient. I would recommend him if you are looking for a new car. I am very pleased with the whole experience and love my new car.

I've been going to Fitzmall since 2007...bought a terrific 2007 Vera Cruz from them. In 6+ years I have had virtually no expenses (outside of routine oil changes / maintenance). And when I do go in for service...they have an excellent focus on the customer. Rishi, Ken, Ismael...are all great. They pull up details quickly, are respectful of your time and accurately predict when the car will be ready. Sales folks are equally impressive...if you have to buy a car, work through the sales manager Pete. We spoke last week while I was waiting on an oil change. He will get you the best value on a car, period.
Great all around
I have a Subaru Legacy 2000. It needed some serious repairs/maintenance and I decided to go for it and drive the car into the ground (which might take another 14 years). The service personnel are always available, helpful, efficient, polite, etc. No complaints. I'm sure I could find a place that costs a bit less but these guys know the full service history of my car (even though I didn't buy it there, as my employer had a special discount elsewhere) and I believe they are honest, which is priceless (the headlight blew as they were bringing back the car after service, they replaced it for free immediately, which was a great chance to spend time test-driving the 2014 Outback with the extremely helpful and polite sales staff). The loaner office is right there, they gave me a 2012 Nissan Versa which was fine (in the past I have had Infinitis and Mercedes from them even though I had to pay a bit more, and once they gave me a new Subaru Forester that the manager had recently test-driven). The sales staff really know about cars too (not just the ones they sell): these are serious car people.

I purchased a 2014 Santa Fe Ltd from sales consultant Feleke Kenaa. Mr. Kenaa did an excellent job throughout the process. He was knowledgeable about the model; took time to answer all my questions; applied no pressure whatsoever; handled the paperwork efficiently and courteously and with intelligence. I am happy to recommend this dealer and in particular this sales consultant to any other customers. I was pleased as well with all the FitzMall staff who participated in this transaction. While there was some waiting around while paperwork was completed, the dealership has a nice woman who comes around and offers refreshments and answers questions as well while the customer is waiting. That's a nice touch.

I purchased a 2006 Subaru Outback from Fitzgerald AutoMall and was most pleasantly surprised by every aspect of the purchase and the process. They were courteous, not high pressure, extremely helpful. The car was well priced, extremely clean and mechanically very sound. Lennox Gibbs, the sales agent, was stellar. Three days after purchasing it a car ran into me causing damage to the tie rods--and their service department fit me into the next days schedule and completed the work in a day. Excellent Service and Competitive Pricing
After buying several cars during my lifetime, this was perhaps my best experience doing so. The sales approach was not full of gimmicks to get me to buy just what was available, but an effort to help me find what I wanted. I never felt pressured and research trying to buy the same car elsewhere let me know the price was more than competitive. Oddly, all this happened with none of the normal experiences required to get a decent deal on the car "you" want verse the deal the car dealer wants you to make. The sales person Kimberly F. was professional and extremely well informed about the product, outlining the inventory, and laying out the options. Making the deal with her was outstandingly efficient, but I must also admit I was very surprised the "managers" didn't throw a monkey wrench into things last minute...."Been there had that happen" several times. I think this was a win-win for Fritzgerald Subaru and myself. They made money, I saved money. I think they have taken the approach and trained their staff that you make more money "selling" cars then "jerking around customers". Simple, but effective. Buying a car at Fritzgerald Auto again would be a no-brainer.

Excellent Subaru Service
My wife and I presently own two Subaru Outbacks (2005 and 2010) which we purchased at Fitzgerald Automall. Prior to the 2010, we owned a 1997 Outback which was also purchased at Fitzgerald. During these many years, we have continued to use Fitzgerald for our service and repair needs. The customer service department is staffed professional people such as Ken, Andy, Martin, etc. who are not only very knowledgable but are very pleasant and make a sincere effort to follow through so the agreed-upon service or repair is 100 percent.

7500 Mile Checkup/oil change
All in all, we got a great deal on the 2013 Forester we now own. We traded our 2010 Forester for it because of the deal we were offered. No complaints there. Actually, we bought our first Fitzgerald car in 1983 and have purchased 4 or 5 others since then. So we are a Fitzgerald family. Having said that, I must also admit that I usually seek service elsewhere because of the cost.

I purchased my 2004 Subaru Outback new from Fitzgeralds. I have had it regularly serviced there and have been extremely satisfied with the service I have received. Ken Horn, my service advisor, has always been helpful, responsive to my requests, and he does not suggest services that are not needed. His time estimates for repairs are accurate and he consistently keeps me informed of progress when my car is in for servicing. Because of my experience with Ken, I would buy another Subaru from Fitzgeralds and I definitely recommend Ken Horn to others as a reliable and trustworthy service advisor.

Great Buying Experience
They gave me a fair deal on a "Handyman Special" used car with a list of needed repairs to pass state inspection. No pressure, no haggling.
We have purchased two Subaru cars from Fitzgerald on Rockville Pike and had a wonderful experience with all those involved. Both cars were and are being serviced at the dealership. I can't say enough positive remarks about their Service Department. Over the years, I have worked with Martin, Andy and Sara and they have been outstanding as Service Advisors. They have been honest in their dealings as to what should be fixed and what can wait. If my car is going to be in the shop all day or a good part of the day, I have been offered the use of a loaner car. I should know as my Subaru Forester is 15 years old and is like the Energizer Bunny, it just keeps going. I highly recommend Fitzgerald for both buying and servicing cars.
