Had a great experience at Ferman BMW of Palm Harbor with Brian Gains as our Sales Associate. Came in with my husband with the sole intention of just test driving their SUV vehicles. I zeroed in on the X3 and had a test drive with absolutely No Pressure. Brian was professional, knowledgeable on BMW's product line and was so easy going. After the test drive I knew the X3 was for me and I was looking for a vehicle that was up on its lease with very low mileage. Shared with Brian my 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices and learned as we were half way home that a vehicle fitting my choices had been turned in and was not even in the computer system yet. We put a hold on the vehicle and returned the following weekend after it was certified prepared. I took another test drive, confirmed this vehicle was right for me and we purchased it that morning. Would highly recommend Brian Gains if you are in the market for a BMW. This is our 3rd BMW purchase from this car dealership.

The dealer repair work & my service adviser were great, but the loaner experience with Enterprise left a little to be desired. I had to wait a half hour for a vehicle and then the first one they could give me was a huge Yukon. Also, when I made my appointment on-line with the dealer, it wouldn't let me reserve a loaner, which may have avoided the dealer's need to send me to Enterprise.

He knew, and thoroughly communicated, the features and benefits of both the specific car model we were interested in, and what he felt set BMW apart from the competition.My wife found an X3 xDrive 28i with the exterior color, leather interior trim color, and options, she wanted on their lot.The negotiation went smoothly with Brian offering a very fair trade in on our car.After the sale was completed, Brian took the time to explain as much about the operation of the car's various features as out brains would allow. He then got us in contact with their BMW "Tech Genius", Sam Watts . We returned a few days later for an appointment with Sam and he walked us through how to use all the cutting edge technology the car had to offer.I would like to add that the meeting we had with their finance manager was also no-pressure. He outlined the various warranty packages available and the costs and benefits and left it for us to decide. Every member of the Ferman team we dealt with at the dealership was respectful and professional from the receptionist right on up. Way to go Ferman !My wife loves this new BMW X3. I took our car to get serviced at Ferman BMW. I received a call the next day that a porter was involved in an accident with our X3. The car was declared a total loss. This unfortunately was not the worst of my experience, that award goes to my interaction with the BMW dealership GM and Ferman corporate. I would strongly advise against doing business with this dealership.

Ryan and Kim were fantastic. I appreciated getting to communicate directly with the tech as I'm a car junkie and fairly car knowledgeable. Ryan was awesome getting warranty coverage on a pesky steering wheel noise and also let me know about a recall. he was careful with my car and super professional. I have been driving for over 55 years and, in that time, have purchased over 26 automobiles from dealerships. I have never worked with a better client advisor than Kenny Russell. His knowledge of the BMW product was impressive and he was very accommodating of my busy schedule. Throughout the purchase process, I felt I was being dealt with honestly and that he was sincerely interested in getting me into the vehicle that I wanted at a reasonable purchase price. Work that Kenny promised would be done before I took delivery of the vehicle was completed as he promised. I have never worked with a better client advisor. When I first got to the sales department there was nobody available to help me. I was then introduced to Sam Watts. Well he wasn't a sales agent, he was a BMW Genius. He knew all about the vehicle I wanted to purchase down to the technology and the performance of the car. Having somebody take me on a test drive that wasn't in the sales department really made this a no-pressure sale. He did such a great job at explaining and showing me all of the features while I was driving I felt extremely comfortable without having to make a decision. Never once did he ask me if I wanted to purchase the car or if I was ready to buy a car that day. I would definitely recommend this dealership or Sam to anybody that goes there. What a new way of buying a car.

I was contacted by the dealer requesting me to present my leased 528 for a pre-inspection to "prevent any surprises at the lease termination". First, let me say that I take great pride in the care of my vehicles, both mechanically and cosmetically. My vehicle is waxed (by me personally with Meguiars Next Gen2) every three months. It is detailed by me on a weekly basis. I was allowed 36,000 miles on the lease, and as of the date of the "inspection" the odometer showed about 26,000 miles. The car was stored nightly in my garage. In short, it was immaculate........or so I thought.My inspector, after looking over the car, complemented me on its appearance and remarked that it would be a keeper, meaning that the dealership would keep it for resale, based on its appearance and mileage.HE THEN PRESENTED ME WITH A BILL OF $800.There were two small (about 1 inch) scrapes on the front wheel rims that were barely visible to the naked eye. BMW would charge me $300 Apiece to "fix" them. There was a dimple on the front bumper about the size of a quarter (no paint missing). Repair cost: $100. A scratch on the rear bumper about 2 inches long. Repair cost $100. He also informed me that I would probably have to replace the tires, since they were very close to the margin allowed for treadwear.THOSE WERE THE SUM TOTAL OF IMPERFECTIONS ON THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR OF THE CAR. When I asked him what he considered normal wear and tear allowed in the lease, he did not give me a definitive answer.Needless to say, I was VERY skeptical of this procedure and decided to consult with another dealer in the Tampa area. He told me that his dealership did NOT do the lease termination, but used an independent agency. I called the agency, who sent an inspector to examine the vehicle. He was most complimentary and gave the vehicle a perfect rating, and also noted that the tires were within the legal tread ratings.I then turned the vehicle into the dealer. They handled everything very professionally.I found out that Ferman was given the authority by BMW to handle the inspections directly. As far as I am concerned, this is like giving the fox the keys to the henhouse. It is a TERRIBLE idea and puts the consumer at the mercy of the dealer. No chance of an impartial third party participation. I am still seething over this experience. I wasted many hours gtting this matter resolved. The well has been poisoned. I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealer to anyone.

I had just purchased my 2014 Mini Cooper from a small dealer, and brought it to Fermin for a minor repair. Charles Drivas, Service Manager, was so very helpful! I had never had a Mini before, and Charles was wonderful in explaining all the features and how to program everything. I thought I was doing something wrong, but it turned out to be a defective radio/computer system, which was covered by the warranty. Fermin had to keep my car overnight, but I was not I convinced at all, they provided a rental car at no charge. Great customer service! Charles checked my warranty, and took care of so many items, when I left, I felt like I was driving away in a new car! Excellent customer service!

We had no intentions of buying a vehicle that Sunday we drove into Ferman BMW. My wife and I parked and casually strolled around the lot looking at cars.Not immediately but rather in the appropriate amount of time a sales person, Brian Gains, came out to greet us.We were immediately put at ease by his demeanor. Let me begin by saying I have purchased many cars ranging from Range Rovers to Mercedes and beyond. Had tire trouble so I called and right away was given an appointment. Car receipt was excellent--those kids outside are so nice and effective. Inside, waited a bit but after 1 hour they bought my car to the front. A suggestion: Improve out-going car paperwork process because my car was out front for more than 15 minutes ready to go but was withheld allegedly due to the paperwork.

I had excellent service from both Charles Drivas and Kenneth Russell in servicing my car and re-installing my mini car's Bluetooth. Charles Drivas was very polite, organized and thoroughly communicated to me what needed to be completed for my mini's annual checkup. He was helpful with information on a needed bike rack for my 2015 model and directions on where I wanted to go while my car was serviced. He also made sure that my loaner car was ready for my immediate use and communicated to me the final paperwork before I signed off on completion of work. I've purchased 32 cars in my life, both new and used. I mention that to give you an idea of my perspective on buying cars. My experience with Gary Mack at the BMW dealership was top notch. I ordered my car and he communicated every change in status, delivery status, pictures of them taking the car off the truck, etc. He was wonderful to deal with and I would highly recommend the dealership and Gary in particular. When I ordered my car several major items where wrong due to salesman error. They say you get a $100 referral fee. The gal who referred me never me never rcvd it. And I referred a friend ( who bought a mini) and never rcvd it. Shouldn't say your going to do something when you have no intention of doing it. I am definitely buying another mini in 2 years but not from Ferman

I drive a 2015 BMW X1 and love it! My iPhone wasn't syncing with the Bluetooth in answering or making phone calls. I stopped by Ferman BMW in Palm Harbor and was referred to BMW Genius Kenny Russell. Kenny was extremely proficient, professional and courteous. He worked on my issue diligently and discovered that my vehicle needed a computer update and my iPhone needed to be rebooted. While he was working with me, he saw that I am still currently using my portable garage door opener. He programmed the opener in my vehicle and gave me precise and easy to understand instructions on what to expect when I got home to complete the programming process. It worked like a charm! I would highly recommend Kenny for any technical assistance with your BMW vehicle. I will definitely keep his business card for future reference and referrals.

Kenny Russell was the awesome BMW Genius at Ferman that showed me the intricacies of my new 2016 535i. I've been dealing with this dealership since 2009. Joe Cleaver was my SA from then until 2015 when he moved to sales. Jamie took over his position and is fabulous! She makes sure I am aware of what needs to be done and how long it will take. I purchased my CPO 2012 135i from Mary Keller. I was pleased with her ability to understand my needs at the time. She did a great follow-up after my purchase and kept in touch to make sure I was pleased with my purchase. I just purchased my 2016 228i from Joe Cleaver and I can't say enough about his ability to find exactly the vehicle I wanted. The best idea Ferman had was having someone like Sam Watts to make sure their new car buyers are aware of how to use every button and function in a new vehicle. He is the "guru" of gadgets and my BMW has plenty of them. I am now very capable of using all functions available.
