Hard to imagine better service

It would be hard to imagine better service than I received on Thursday when I brought in my VW Golf after receiving a recall notice about its fuel pump. The letter from VW had stated that not all dealerships would have parts on hand, but I thought it was important to take it in for an inspection asap since I had smelled occasional unexplained whiffs of gasoline. I was delighted that the pump was in stock and was replaced within two hours! I also had the oil changed--pricey at $59, but I received complimentary services with it, such as a general car inspection and a car wash. I was so pleased to have a shuttle to and from my nearby gym so that I could fit in a workout while the car was serviced. Steve and Matt are both great to work with and true assets to the service department.

I took the shuttle both ways and both of my drivers were exceptional. They were kind and courteous on the road and drove carefully and very mindfully. My service consultant, Matt Bartelson, listened to me and heard what I was saying and treated me with total respect. He called me several times during the day to let me know the progress on my vehicle. He described what the problem was, how they were going to fix it, warranty coverage and said that he hoped to have the car done by the end of the day but if they didn't, he would get me a loaner card for overnight. My car was returned to me repaired and cleaned. From the moment I bought my car from Tiffany three years ago to today, I have been supremely impressed with the Falcone dealership. I will continue to promote your dealership from a deep sense of gratitude for providing me with the cutest car ever and the service to back it up!!

Another great experience with maintenance service at Falcone Service. Steve Halloran, my main man, was his usual cordial, friendly, and helpful self.I always check in with him first even if I have to wait while he's with another customer. Nothing gets done until I first talk to Steve. He always has my best interests to heart as do all the other members of the Falcone family. He got me right in, diagnosed the problem very quickly, and even saved me about $150.00 in labor by suggesting preventive maintenance.He also loaned me a beautiful 2017 Subaru Outback fully loaded in order to carry on with the rest of my busy day. What a car or should I say SUV. It was such a joy to drive while waiting for my Beetle.Thanks Steve! At the end of the day when Steve was preparing my bill, I looked over to Shelby Isner's office and noticed a model VW Beetle in her office. It looked just like my yellow 2000 VW Beetle GLX.I strolled over to her office and politely asked her how much she would take for it since it was a duplicate of my car. I was willing to pay whatever she wanted. She would not accept my offer but instead graciously gave me the model. I couldn't believe it and kept insisting she take some money for it but she wouldn't have it. Instead I gave her a big hug. You may ask yourself what does this have to do with service. Well to me if you show that kind of generosity and kindness in such a small manner as this, it isindicative of the care and commitment that runs through the entire business.I look at the little things that maybe not too many people do in this hustling, bustling world of ours. These things can tell you so much about an establishment. What it tells me is that I can rest assured that each time I visit Falcone Service, they are looking out for me in all respects because they all care. That's very special in this day and age. I had a wonderful car-buying experience with Falcone. It was pressure-free, relaxed and actually very refreshing. The whole team is down-to-earth and the most honest dealership I have dealt with. The sales rep Alex was energetic and friendly and great at his job. Gary, the GM and Jon the finance manager were equally great to deal with. Falcone encouraged me to shop around before I made my final decision, which is completely opposite of the attitude I received from other dealers. In fact, one of Falcone's competitors told me "I do not want to get into a bidding war." Falcone understands that customers need to feel confident that they are getting the best service and the best deal, and they are willing to provide both. There were no hidden surprises once I made it to the finance manager's office. I now plan to remain loyal to Falcone!

Coffee is wonderful! Especially at 7AM. Got right in and Brady listened carefully to my issues. An hour later, my service was done and I was on my way with a freshly washed car and a list of issues that might need attention in the next 6 months. Very nice waiting room with comfortable chairs and TV Very pleasant experience. Brady did a very clear explanation of what was done and answered my questions. I will continue to recommend Falcone to my friends.

I stopped in to drive an outback and John introduced himself and in a very friendly and easy going manner talked about the outback as we started our test drive. At the end I asked about the best price for this vehicle and he explained the way they priced the car off the invoice. Amazing I don't have to worry about what the best price is. I know what it will be for every car on the lot. I loved it. Now it was just a decision of, yes, what color I really wanted. John checked the schedule to see what cars were going to be delivered in the next few weeks. And, yes, the car with the options and color I wanted would arrive in a couple of weeks. I went on vacation and when I returned the car was on the lot. My wife came with me to give the final approval. Of course, I want her approval. She loved it and so it was a done deal. A very pleasant and comfortable car buying experience. I love the car and it is good to know I have a great dealership standing behind my car.

My Crosstrek got a thorough oil change & inspection. My service advisor Brady was polite & seemed interested in the wellbeing of my car. I really appreciated the written checklist I received after the service was completed. The waiting room was comfortable and well lit, with a TV provided. I have no negative comments at all. First, I love my new Subaru Forester. She's my first new car in 14 years and I appreciate the great gas mileage and the bells and whistles that were not available in 2002. Second, I just took her in for her first service. It was for a recall. I scheduled on line -- very easy, I just picked a day and time. I got a reminder the same week. My car was taken back on time and returned to me in the time anticipated. Everyone was friendly, the waiting area was clean and bright and had wifi and snacks. I spoke with my sales rep Bert briefly while I waited. My experience with Falcone has only been great. It is not the closest Subaru dealer to me, but there was a definite difference in customer service with the buying process. That is why I will continue to take it there for service.

Steve Lloyd was great. Not too "pushy" but there when I had questions and wanted to talk seriously about the purchase. He got the exact car I wanted and was in contact with me telling me when it would arrive. The pricing on the Outback was very affordable and I appreciate how Steve worked with me. Working with the financial person was easy. He explained all options on warranties, etc... but without pressure. Many times as a single female you can be ignored at car dealers (it has happened to me many times) but everyone at Falcone was very attentive. They wanted to sell a car!!!! I would recommend Falcone to all my friends, family and everyone.

Accidentally came in a week early but the manager for us into the schedule regardless. Great waiting room for our our son to play in. Excellent service and maintenance was completed quickly. Somehow, after I made the appointment for our 12000 mile checkup, I entered the wrong date into my calendar. My wife and son showed up at Falcone at 7:00 AM an entire week early! They explained what had happened to the manager who told them not to worry and took them in anyway. Falcone has great waiting rooms (including a large kid-friendly room full of activities and a quiet room for reading) and finished the repairs in no time! Great service!

I have been a happy customer of Falcone SAAB since the beginning. I have bought several cars from them over the past few decades, and I have helped others in my family purchase from them as well. Both service and sales have always been excellent. My most recent visit was for a relatively minor repair--replacing a switch in the windshield wiper stalk. To my surprise, the repair required only 0.3 hours, so the labor bill was minimal. I recommend Falcone highly.

Working with Tiffany Compton was a super fantastic experience and I never had a better new car experience before working with her. Tiffany is very professional, courteous, diligent, knowledgeable about the Volkswagen products, highly organized, and truly caring for the customer's needs and concerns. She was able to find the silk blue metallic Jetta with the tan interior I wanted from another dealership as that color was not on the Falcone lot and had it transferred in record time. The car was exactly what I wanted, was all detailed and ready when I came by to pick it up (including having the temporary license plates on it) and also all of the paperwork I needed to sign was ready that I finalized the transaction in a perfect time without any waiting. The entire transaction was a pleasure! I was given a desirable price on the Forester and was given a fair trade in value of my Civic (better than the dealer I purchased it from offered). The staff couldn't have been nicer! Justin Poynter is a rock star and made my life so easy. We were able to test drive, get a value for my car, make a deal and apply for credit in less than an hour! I couldn't be more pleased. I would definitely purchase another car from Falcone!

My Service Writer, Steve H., was helpful with coordinating my needs, for the car being serviced, and for it to be detailed. The crowd pleaser is that I had a loaner car while you had mine! That is so helpful. Steve kept me in the loop, as the car was completed in stages, and I had an approximate time of completion, which he was able to meet.

My wife and I decided to purchase our second Subaru at Falcone because of the wonderful experience we had buying our first Subaru (a 2012 Forester) four years ago. We especially appreciated working with Mr. John Franks. We felt he understood our situation and was able to quickly get us into the car we wanted with a minimum of time and effort. Under normal circumstances my wife and I hate shopping for cars, but our twin experiences at Falcone made car buying more of what we wanted the purchase to be like: efficient, no pressure, and a genuine desire to sell the right car at the right price. We have brought the Forester to Falcone for all of our service requirements and will add the new Impreza to that lineup. The Service Dept. is excellent. I keep my cars forever and run them into the ground. So, I wanted a Subaru because of their longevity and their safety records. I was referred to Falcone Volkswagon Subaru by two separate families who had nothing but great things to say. And they were right on the money. I dropped in without an appointment to see Justin Poynter and he took me in stride to answer all my questions and get me set up for a drive. He then arranged a drive for my wife a few days later. Easy to work with. A real pleasure. One of the biggest reasons for shopping at Falcone was the fact that Bob Falcone has stayed and invested in the area when other dealer have fled to the surrounding counties. He is a good taxpaying business owner who is trying to make a difference in the city of Indianapolis. We got a great car at the right price from a neighbor we trust. What else could a guy hope for?

All employees were very helpful and thorough! Best car buying experience I have ever had! Our sales lady Tiffany spent ample time going over everything, she made us feel very comfortable. Moe was excellent and upfront concerning extended warranties and financing. Lastly, Justin went over all of the features of our Forester. He walked around and even got in the vehicle to walk us through everything. To top it all off I love my new Subaru!

Brought my 2015 Outback in for 12,000 service and was waiting on it. Brady came in and told me the service technician found that the seam in the radiator had come apart and needed to be repaired, which would be covered by the warranty. It's not a problem they've seen, so they would have to order the radiator. I was given an Outback loaner (nice and very clean!), as they wouldn't let me drive my car home and bring it back in when the part was in. I got a call a day earlier than expected that my car was ready and to come in any time that day to pick it up. I threw them a curve ball and asked Brady if there was time and resources to check my a/c before I came in and he said yes. It wasn't an hour later when he called me to say it was ready and my a/c was okay. Thanks to Grady and Falcone for going the extra mile when it was my fault for not mentioning it when I came in originally. Both Falcone Subaru service advisors have been courteous and honest every time I've been in for service and it's very much appreciated!

I always enjoy bringing my car to Falcone and getting the chance to catch up with Brady and Ryan. They are always very friendly and helpful. The accommodations are excellent and allow me to continue working during a weekday without any interruptions. They have a wonderful spread of snacks and beverages as well. I choose to drive 45 minutes to have Falcone service my car vs. the closer Subaru dealership, which is 10 minutes away.

I must say my recent experience (May 18, 2016) with Falcone was exceptional. I was there to get an inspection for a recall issued by Subaru. Unfortunately, my Outback was part of the recall, so they needed to keep my vehicle. I was very disappointed to learn that they were having trouble acquiring the needed parts and would need to keep the car for several days. They were providing a rental, but it was still going to be an inconvenience for my wife. To my surprise, and delight, I was told by the Service personnel that they had been creative about taking care of my vehicle. They discovered they were able to perform the repair immediately since they found that the part needed for my vehicle was available after all and I would get my Outback the next day. Then, about 2 hours later I received a call that it was ready to be picked up. I was very pleased since my wife would not have to be without our new Outback, which we love. Thanks to the Falcone team. I am a very happy customer.

Retiring a 1999 Saab 9-3 Convertible

I brought my 1999 red Saab 9-3 convertible for service in order to get it ready for driving this summer. We had not had many problems although some issues had come up since the last service. I had purchased the car as used 8 years ago and had very much enjoyed the experience of owning it and driving it as did my sons. We found at this visit, much to our dismay, that the car had suffered severe rust damage to its underbody that rendered it dangerous to drive and essentially unrepairable. We appreciated the support of. Ryan and took his advice to let the car go. We took it to Pidk A Part this morning and let them have it for $230. Perhaps I will be able to find another Saab someday, but will have to live with the wonderful memories for eight years.

I wanted so much for this to be a positive review. I came with my wife to the dealership to be sure we were all on the same team after a few unfortunate comments were made about the extended "bumper to bumper" warranty we purchased when the car turned out to be NOT Certified Used (as advertised). I brought the car in for service to the A/C as it was not working. I also asked for the oil to be changed. Positive: The car was fixed under warranty, even though both the condenser and the compressor were bad - without having the additional "co-pay" charge. Also, the dealership brought the car to my wife, saving her the trouble of having to arrange a ride to get it while also dealing with morning sickness. As I said, I REALLY wanted to say good things... But... Despite having to remove the serpentine belt to replace the A/C parts, the dealership put the frayed and sketchy belt BACK ON! Now I have to arrange to have this replaced. ALSO, the oil change I requested was not done. IN FACT, the car was DOWN 2 QUARTS OF OIL! This, despite the fact the car is one of the many that is using too much oil, which I'm sure they know, and they appeared to have topped up all the other fluids. My wife, who is expecting, drives this car daily. She relies on it and pretty much insisted on a Subaru. She shopped for it specifically and we went to Falcone based on their reputation. So far, I don't think the reputation is an accurate one, or the quality has fallen WAY off since last surveyed. I do hope the folks there make this right. If they do, I will be glad to be as honest about their efforts as I'm being now. These are NOT SMALL THINGS. Someone made a choice to put a bad belt back on the car and to skip a requested oil change OR TO EVEN CHECK THE OIL in a car that has problems! I look forward to being contacted about how we make this right. ASAP.

I stop by twice in one week and not once did someone ask me,if I needed any help, or if someone was helping me. There was ttwo people on the lot and one was with a customer, but I have been at other dealerships and the have been ask even if they were with someone.I got and my car drove off went to another dealership were they seem to want my business. Customer service goes along way.

I went there for a diagnostic test, i was extremely dissatisfied with the service. they charge $95 dollars for the test, while most places charge 40. they told me i needed new brakes but when i went to meineke to have the brake pads replace, they told me the pads were in very good shape. i told them my headlight weren't working and look to see if it had a short in it, the told me the only thing they could do is to restore it back to factory setting. they wanted to charge me close to $ 400 dollars to it, the problem was so simple i got it fix for $ 37 dollars. i told them to drive the car and see where the smoke was coming from, the guy told me the car was not smoking but as soon as pull of the lot, i could see smoke coming from the car. the wanted to charge me close to a $1000 dollars to fix all the problems, i got everything fix for $157 dollars. I always thought mechanics were crooks, this dealership just confirm that. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

My husband and I have made two purchases at Falcone now. On the first purchase, we had seen a Mini Cooper listed on their website and went in to test drive it and potentially buy it (which we ended up getting). We were told had a couple from Chicago driving down to see it that day, and although they had been encouraged to put a small refundable down payment to hold it, the couple did not. Sorry for them, but good for us. The process was very smooth and pressure-free. Bert went out of his way to create minimal stress for us, and the owner was there working, himself, on a Saturday morning. I was impressed at the staff's professionalism and hospitality! Then we needed to trade the Mini in for a 4-door a few months back, so we went back to see Bert, because he was just so nice and down to earth compared to other car salesmen we had experienced in the past (at other dealers). He wasn't in the office so we worked with Dan (I THINK that's his name) and he was good too, but we were honestly looking forward to helping Bert get the "credit", but it wasn't like that -- Dan and Bert jumped in and out of the transaction whenever they could to help get us out of the door happy! What I really love about this dealership is that it doesn't feel like a dog-eat-dog environment. At Falcone, it's more like they are a family and realize that if they all give 100%, they'll all succeed in the end. When we finally were about to drive the VW off the lot, Bert (although he wasn't the one who "sold" us the car) took the time to go over some neat features and offer some personal insight about the car's components. This was on a Saturday and then on Monday, Bert realized we still needed to sign a couple documents and personally came to me and my husband's workplaces due to our special circumstances and availability. Overall, great experience now twice and highly recommended for a no-nonsense, straight-forward, pressure-free purchase! And if you've seen Falcone's commercials, "no dealer fee --EVER"...it's true!

My wife and I were looking to trade our 2005 Honda CRV and had been looking at vehicles. We narrowed our choices to the Subaru Outback 2012 or 2013, Honda CRV 2012, upcoming Hyundai Santa Fe 2013 and the Kia Sorrento 4 cyl. We decided to pursue the Subaru Outback and began looking at area dealers. We started talking to John Franks the salesman at Falcone. He introduced me to the owner. Our process of purchase was over 2 months of me doing research, talking to John Franks, etc. We were looking at the 2013 due better mpg and better cvt transmission. Falcone does the Subaru employee pricing which was good, so what was left was negotiation on the trade in. After a few back and forths we received what we needed on the trade to get the monthly pmt down. The overall process was awesome. John Franks is so patient and very friendly. My wife got the go through the technical review with John as the kids were in the car seats in the back (I stayed in the dealership while it poured down rain). It was a great experience and Im hoping my Mom and dad go there and buy a car. Anyone looking for a Subaru definitley go to Falcone and ask for John Franks!

My wife and I purchased a new and used car from Falcone. From the second we walked in the door, we knew we would be happy with our decision to purchase from Falcone. I had called earlier in the day for an appointment and was greeted by Bob Falcone, the owner. He then spent the better part of 2 hours walking us through the process of buying our new cars and put together a financing plan that fit our needs. We went to a South Side competitor (anyone from the area will know who I am refering to) first and were very unimpressed with their sales team. We are a young couple and believe the sales team did not take us seriously. Knowing that the OWNER OF THE DEALERSHIP worked directly with us through all the paperwork should say more than enough about this place. My honest opinion gives them 5 stars on all the categories listed above. From Bob to Tiffany to Rick and even Duke, this team was FANTASTIC. Even if I move to Alaska, I will still only buy from this dealer. I honestly cannot speak highly enough about this group. You owe it to yourself to check them out.

I wanted to buy a new car and asked for additional, specific, information. None of my questions were answered, instead I just got a form response to "Come in and try out a car". (Without having my questions answered, I didn't even know if they had the car I wanted.) I had a car in for a replacement part and the service people didn't know they didn't have the part in-stock until AFTER they tore down my car...I had called ahead to confirm they DID have the part and they assured me they did...but it turned out they really didn't. I have been waiting for months now and haven't heard any feedback about when, if ever, my part will be available...I did call several times, only got service's VM...left messages and still nothing! I give up...it should NOT be this difficult to spend my money.

Appear to be very uninterested in selling vehicles. After initial internet and email correspondence with them, very hard to get a response from them. They didnt seem to care about selling a vehicle to me. After I went to see it the first time it took forever to get someone to help me and then it didnt start. They were suppose to get in touch with me after they found out what the problem was - I had to continue to contact them - several attempts. Even after purchasing the vehicle when I had to take care of some things, the person I needed to address some things still would not contact me after I left several messages and emails. I am sorry that I really wanted the vehicle therefore had to do business with them for it. Will not deal with this place again.

Falcone Dealership is an outstanding establishment. Including great customer service and wonderful help when needing to purchase a new or used car. They have a great selection of new and used cars. I have had my eye on a certain used vehicle that was located at this dealership at a unbeatable price. When I came in to look at the car and give it a test drive the wonderful sales person, Tiffany, greeted me with a warm welcome. I test drove the vehicle and fell in love instantly. I knew I wanted this car. There were just some little details on the car that I asked could possibly be fix (some scratches and worn floor mats). Being a 6 year old vehicle I knew it wouldn't be in the best condition. But Tiffany had no problem in helping me get those mishaps taken care of. Then I spoke with the owner, Bob Falcone. Great man. He deals with every customer who is interested in purchasing a vehicle, which is a great thing. He too reassured me that the little mishaps on my dream car would be fixed at little to no cost. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. When it comes time to get myself a new car, Falcone Dealership is the first location I will go to, no doubt about that!! Thank you Falcone Family! -KA
