We bought my husband's Wrangler from Rich Dzwonchyk in 2013 and when he felt it was time to trade it in and get a new one we went back to Rich to discuss our options. We initially went to see Rich in August or September but he told us there wasn't a large inventory of Wranglers at the time and it would be best to stick with our current Wrangler for the time being, they expected more toward the end of the year. We had brought the Wrangler in for brakes last week and decided to talk to Rich again about what was available, then my husband saw the Oscar Mike on the show room floor. Rich talked to us about pricing and we decided it was time to upgrade. Rich, C.J. (the GM), and the finance department really came through for us and got us a great deal on our trade, they made everything so easy for us too. We put a deposit down last weekend and came in this past Saturday to pick up our new Wrangler. When we got there they had all of our paperwork ready and all we had to do was wait for the extra key to be cut. While Rich was helping my husband setup all the features in the Wrangler, I went and spoke with Jim in service who helped me understand the maintenance schedule and he was also very courteous and helpful. I have only ever owned Jeeps and before finding Executive had never found a dealership that was worth going back to. Their staff is friendly, not pushy, and always helpful. When I had warranty work issues with my Jeep Cherokee over the summer Rich, John (the service manager), and C.J. (the GM) worked together to help get my Jeep back up and running. John knew my biggest issue in the past with the service department was the lack of follow up so he made sure to check in with me every step of the way. Bringing him in as part of their team helped this dealership immensely, sales had always been great but service needed a little help. Overall, we highly recommend this dealership, specifically Rich in sales. We have purchased 3 Jeeps from him and will definitely be back to see him in the future.

Just about 2 weeks ago I purchased my first car! I thought the experience was going to be a headache. I had gone already to 3 dealerships and their service was HORRIBLE!!!! I purchased a new 2012 Durango from this dealership and was shopping for an upgrade. I saw a certified used 2014 Durango in Wallingford and made an appointment to test drive it. I was introduced to Chris (the GM) who asked Tim Harris (the sales specialist) to assist me. I test drove the vehicle, which was in pristine condition and priced to sell. The vehicle was not what I was looking for and would have been a downgrade to the 2012 Durango that I had. Tim suggested other vehicles they had to see if I was interested. At no time did I feel any pressure to buy anything he had to offer. It was a totally stress free, non-pressuring experience from the minute I walked into the showroom to the minute I was handed the keys to my new 2015 Durango. Tim was very knowledgeable about the Durango it was pleasure to purchase from this dealership. I purchased a used Wrangler from Mike Vachula at Executive Jeep and he was amazing. I went to many dealerships, shopped around for months and months and finally after 2 visits to Executive found the perfect Wrangler for me. I told them my price range and max payment I wanted to make and the did great. Typically they loose me in Finance because they try to swindle me into things and I hate that, but Chris was great. The no haggle price and fair value on the trade makes the process so easy. They weren't pushy at all. I would hands down send all my friends and family to them. Car buying at Executive Dodge and Jeep in Wallingford is unlike any experience we have had at any other dealer. We have bought four cars from this dealership since 2009 and will continue to go back every time we need a new vehicle. All the employees over the years have all been so helpful and understanding of our specific needs when buying a car. This time around, CJ, the General Manager, took the time to sit down with us and explain our options as we were nearing the end of our lease. This was my first new vehicle ive bought in over 20 years, and the thought of dealing with a dealership was something that didn't appeal too me. But I must say that my buying experience was very good. My saleswoman, Brionna Magnoli (and all the staff who helped me) were Knowledgeable, patient, and worked super hard to get the kind of deal that I wanted. It was kind of funny though.. Out of all the Patriots on the lot, the one Brionna first picked for me to test ride was the one I liked so much I ended up buying over a month later, she knew haha. I have always HATED buying cars... I don't haggle well and tend to cave in under pressure. Never before have I purchased a vehicle without feeling like I've been taken for a ride. (and I don't mean a test drive!)Not knowing what car I wanted, I started browsing at local dealerships and left several of them feeling like I narrowly escaped the circling vultures trying to rip me to shreds.That all changed when I walked into Executive Dodge Jeep in Wallingford.With all my defenses up I shooed away the salesman to "research" the lot on my own. After nearly an hour I decided that I did need help after all and that's when I learned that Brandon is not a salesman, but a sales consultant, so I consulted with him. He listened to my list of things that I needed in a car, the things I wanted but weren't really necessary, and the things that would be nice but are completely unnecessary (and I probably couldn't afford). Without hesitation he said "You should look at a Dart, we've got one here that covers all of your needs and wants and has many of your would likes, too". I really liked the look of it from the outside and when he returned with the key and I got inside... this car fit me like a glove. Brandon hit the bullseye with his first shot.I was almost disappointed to find a car that I wanted so much, since that puts me at such a disadvantage in the next dreaded phase... Negotiating. WAIT... WHAT? No haggling? Best Price First policy? Open, transparent, honest pricing? They showed me what the car cost them, fees, taxes... minus the very generous amount for my trade-in, bottom line.... Done. No muss, no fuss, most importantly no pressure. So, of course, I walked away from the deal fully expecting a call saying "Come back, and we'll make you a better deal." That call never came because they had truly given me their best price, first. So, I wasted a day and a half of my time (and theirs) before going back to take possession of my shiny, new, sexy, sporty 2016 Dodge Dart SXT!I honestly believe that if I were the worlds greatest negotiator, with brass xxxxx and a heart of stone I couldn't have gotten a better deal on this, the perfect car for me, at any other dealership. If you're looking to buy a car, save yourself a lot of time, aggravation, and money by going straight to Executive.

Highly reccomend this deaership and Sales Rep, Mike Vachula specifically. I had been to 5+ dealerships with great sales reps, and Mike was best, by far. His very genuine, no b.s. approach and excellent responsiveness and customer service sealed it for me! He listened to my requests and didn't waste my time. As a jeep owner himself, his knowledge is high and personal. He truly cares about my satisfaction and it shows. Mike is trully an asset to the Jeep family. Unfortunately, I had to bring the vehicle for service after only 2 days of owning it, due to the engine light being on. That being said, I understand that is more of a manufacturers issue, and not necessarily a reflection of my sales experience. I have been very pleased with both the sales and service team's respnsiveness, while the issues are being resolved. The only thing that would make me happier, onew week after the sale, is if I was driving my jeep and not a loaner.

I purchased my second vehicle today from Executive Dodge and Jeep in Wallingford. I worked with Rich Dzwonchyk who is very personable. He took me on a test drive and showed me the vehicle inside and out. It was such a stress-free experience, I test drove on a Saturday and came back a few days later to purchase. No harassing multiple phone calls, emails or so forth to check up on me daily to see if I would purchase or not. The managers are all so helpful and work closely with the sales people. The dealers prices were even significantly lower than other dealers I was shopping around at in the area and they had exactly what I wanted. I spent an entire day at another dealership looking for the same car, when a friend recommended this dealership to me. It was pretty late in the afternoon when I arrived, but I was greeted warmly and taken care of immediately by the manager and staff. Nick was awesome, and he took his time with me until I found the right model, color, bells & whistles. He was patient and friendly. He made the experience fun and stress free. By the evenings end, I had been approved by their knowledgeable and friendly finance staff , and soon, I was driving home with my vehicle. I came all the way from Holyoke Massachusetts to buy my Hellcat, mainly because the dealers from Western Massachusetts and Northern CT were so inept. They insulted my intelligence and treated me with disrespect mainly Lia of Northampton. Then I met Rachael Markel from Executive Dodge, who answered all my questions, and was not pushy saleswomen who says, "I have 3 other people that want this car so you better hurry an give me a deposit". I can't tell you the disgust I had shopping for this car. Salesman from Lia of Northampton told me if you don't pay $7,000 over the sticker price you can leave. But not Rachael, she was awesome, and always available! Tim Harris "Product Specialist" explained the car inside and out, and made me feel like he genuinely cared. Jill was great in the financial department also. She was friendly, wasn't pushy, and answered my calls on the weekend.

Walked into Executive Dodge in Wallingford browsing for a Jeep vehicle and while in the lot was approached by Nick Mackay whom introduced himself and available to answer questions and took us on test drives as I was on a budget I was considering the Jeep Renegade and Jeep Cherokee. While on both test drives we conversed about each vehicle. He was patient, honest that he hadn't been a salesman for a very long time and if he wasn't able to answer question he got us an answer. He went over both vehicles with us which helped us make our decision to purchase the Cherokee. I would recommend this dealer and Nick. I,ve shopped and bought many vehicles over the years. My experience with Executive Dodge Jeep was one of the best. I dealt with 2 sales reps during the week long process. They were both knowledgeable and very helpful. What I liked most was they don't work on commission. They work on volume so there wasn't that pressure sales approach. Took my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee there for service, and for the second time, the car was not ready when promised. I called multiple times throughout the day to check the status of the vehicle, and was promised a call back, and never received one. It took me going down there for them to tell me the car might be available the following day. The previous time I dropped by car off, they had it for a week while I was out of town, and when I stopped in to pick it up, I was told one of the employees had taken it home to test drive it (with my permission) and he had not arrived yet for his shift. This was after I had called the previous 3 days to ensure it was going to be there for the start of that day. On both occasions, I was not offered alternative transportation or accommodations, and was forced to take cabs back and forth to work. The service members are insensitive, uninformed, and lack any concern for their customers. This will be the last time I bring my car here for service, and will certainly not be purchasing my next Jeep from this location. Proceed with extreme caution when dealing with any one from the service dept as they are misinformed and very unwilling to help.

I recently purchased a new Grand Cherokee at Executive Dodge Jeep. The experience was far better than past experiences buying cars and even dealing with other Jeep dealers during this purchase experience. The team is very honest and gets right to the bottom line. They gave me their best price on the vehicle I was looking at right upfront to avoid needing any negotiation later. Sales rep stays on top of the customer experience and follows up on e-mails and phone calls promptly. They also provide key information over the phone and email to me without making me drive in to the dealership for every conversation (which I experienced with other dealers). I had my whole family with me on the day I was looking at and test driving vehicles, and the team even made sure my 6 year old had a great experience as he got to "drive" the cars on the showroom floor and use a sales office to color and read for a while.The whole team ensures they meet you up front including the General Manager to ensure your experience is positive and all your questions are answered. The Finance Manager worked with me to ensure I was making the right choices on financing and did not miss out on any rebates available to me. Executive has a lot of their own offerings on top of Jeep like a lifetime powertrain guarantee which top off the deal. Their sales team is salary based with bonuses based on customer feedback (not sales commission) so they are focused on you not the price of the car you buy. In the end of the day, I bought a different Grand Cherokee than I went into buy but I truly feel it was the right one for me after the help of the team.I have three Jeep dealerships closer to my home than Executive (two of which I purchased from in the past) and I will always make the time to go straight to Executive for future purchases.

Not a bad purchasing experience, but I noticed a dent before driving the Jeep off the lot, they'd said they'd take care of it and to schedule and appointment with the service department. Since then I can't get a call back from my salesman or the service department to schedule the service, tried for over a month. After repeated attempts I'm taking my business elsewhere. Very disappointed.

I purchased a used ford from them after my jeep accident. Or was the only car on the lot in my price range. As a single mom I need to know I can put a roof over our heads and have reliable transportation to and from work. I didn't even have the car 9 days and it was in their shop for 5 weeks! Luckily I fought and the rental was paid for by them bc my extended warranty wasn't in effect yet. And now again today the car just dies on me while I'm driving. With my 2 yr daughter in the car on a humid 85 degree day. And now my warranty is in effect but rentals are not covered until it's diagnosed. So here im missing work and have to pay to have it towed from.Middletown to saybrook. This place is not selling reliable cars. They could careless what they are selling as long as the crap is leaving the lot and the money is in there pocket and im stuck with the bill. I do not recomemed this place to anyone.

Short version: I recommend this dealership and I would ask for Mike Z. as I was happy with him as my salesperson. I also really liked their finance guy Chris (if I recall correctly). In my experience their no-haggle pricing is very competitive and their process for paperwork and delivery is quick and efficient. Their parts guy was also very friendly when I asked Mike to bring me there for some touch-up paint and an oil filter.Long version: I owned an 07 Tundra that I loved. Decided to look around for a new truck but the 15 Tundra is basically the same as the 07. Tried the Silverado, didn't like it. Test drove the RAM at Robert's Dodge and loved it. However, the RAM at Robert's Dodge was a November build date and I didn't feel like the deal was very competitive considering it had been on the lot 7 months and sales were slow there. They didn't really seem to care about my business. In fact I asked the salesperson some questions and he said he wouldn't answer until two days later because he had the day off. In this day and age a good salesperson, working on commission, takes a few minutes to answer questions on her/his day off.I looked online and saw basically the same truck at Executive and felt I would give them a try. I used the online service and Tara helped me out and I drove down.I met Mike, took the truck for a test-drive, they gave me an out-the-door price (they are a one-price no haggle dealership) and an amount on my trade. Both Roberts and Executive offered me $15.5k for my Tundra which I felt was fair. I told them I would consider it and left. Within moments of me leaving, Mike called and said they would offer me another $500 for my trade to earn my business.The next day I asked to use the truck to ensure it fit in my garage. Mike had it detailed and ready and sure enough, it fit and I came back and completed the purchase.Ultimately the out-the-door price with Executive was $1300 cheaper than Roberts and all I gave up were step-rails and 4 speakers (yet got the regular and not short bed) so I found it to be very competitive.The paperwork and process was quick and easy and I never felt pressure or any tricks* that many dealers try to play.The manager (Mr Gallant?) also checked in to ensure Mike was taking care of me, a nice touch.Mike hooked up my Spotify to the UConnect, took a picture of me with my old friend the Tundra and off I went.*I deducted 2 points for the following:-1 They still hit me with the notorious "VIN etching". Since it was preprinted on the invoice and it was the only "bologna" they added, I quietly agreed but please know as a consumer you can always tell them to scratch that off. I didn't ask because I didn't want the hassle of waiting for redone paperwork and I had brought a check for the exact amount. I understand dealers are a business and they are there to make a profit, but the VIN etching is shady because you can do it yourself for $30-$40 if you really wanted it.-1 The truck, as ready to be delivered, needed a front-end alignment. I had to ask them for this rather than them catching it ahead of time. Some may say a small thing, but as I'm paying $40,000 for a product I should expect it to be aligned.Overall, I would refer Executive Dodge to a friend and would buy another car from Mike and this dealership. I do believe their one-price policy to be competitive so you can feel comfortable you are being offered a fair price without the fight.

I have never bought or leased a car before and the only time I have ever even been to a car dealership was with my mom for her car at hyundai. At hyundai, they took forever, wouldnt give a straight answer and seemed like they didnt care what the customer wanted. They sold my mom a car that later had so many issues that she had to get a different car and trade the one she had for less than a year back in. Anyways, I was going into the dodge jeep dealership thinking that it was going to be a pain in the butt process and that who knew what I would come out with. I walked in and met the man that I had been corresponding with online named Steve who was the manager or something who then introduced me to Michael Zygmunt who was the sales person that would be helping me out. This guy was amazing at his job! Nicest car salesman I've ever met. He made the whole process super fast and even put up with my stupid questions (because i know nothing about cars) and gave me all the information I needed. And, not to mention, that i LOVE the car I'm leasing. Its a great quality vehicle and I'm so happy with all the help that Mike gave me to get me into this awesome car!! I even had a minor issue with my car and they took it in to the garage and Mike helped me get into another car while they work on mine (its a window issue, nothing big wrong). Anyways, a huge thank you to Michael Zygmunt & Executive Dodge Jeep in wallingford!!!!!! Definitely recommend that everyone go there and ask for this sales guy because my experience was fabulous!

Looking for a new vehicle can be a long stressful experience even though most dealership salesmen are very eager to sell you a vehicle. However most of the time after you tell them what you want and what your price range is they try to sell you something that you don't want and can"t afford. I've been driving the same truck for 20 years and recently decided it was time for a new one but when I started to look around I was floored by the prices. Even used trucks were a bit more than I was willing to pay. Then I went to Executive Dodge and Jeep of Wallingford and found there prices to be more reasonable then the rest . When I was confronted by a salesman, I explained to him what was the ideal truck for me and what I was willing to pay , I was shown exactly that. We found the perfect truck for me at a very good price. The whole process was also very fast and painless. They took all the stress out of the process and it was actually a fun experience. All the staff there are friendly and make it a very comfortable experience. I highly recommend this dealership

I was replacing my 2006 Grand Cherokee, and Rich made the process as painless as possible. He worked very hard to find the right vehicle with all of the extras that I was looking for, and never pushed for things that I wasn't interested in. The whole process went very smooth, and I was able to pick up my new Grand Cherokee within a couple of hours all waxed and serviced as promised. During the delivery Rich went over all of the features in detail explaining all of the new goodies that the 2014 had. I jumped back and forth between a few vehicles and finally purchased a new Dodge Durango and couldn't be happier with the vehicle. Went for power steering fluid leak. They said I needed a new radiator because there was no coolant in the radiator nor the reservoir. Told them I had checked coolant level that morning before taking vehicle. Radiator was full and the reservoir was at least half full... I asked where is the coolant on the ground if it leaked out. Tech said it must have evaporated. Tried to get me to spend over 800.00 dollars on new radiator and an additional 800.00 on a service. Had them replace coolant went to my mechanic who checked the radiator, all checked out okay. Dealer also said there is no after market replacement parts. (2009 Jeep Wrangler). The power steering leak was what they call normal and not serviceable... I guess they had to try and find something to get in my wallet...Do your homework before going to this dealer for any type of service.

My sales experience with Executive Dodge was excellent. The sales staff wre all very courteous. Daniella was extremely knowledgeable about the Dodge truck I purchased. I pride myself on being a well prepaired consumer when I decide what product will meet my needs. It was refreshing to to have a sales rep that actually knew more about the product then I did. In my almost 30 years of of vehicle purchases that has never happened. Chris Rogalin, who runs the financing dept, worked hard to get the numbers on my monthly payments close to where I needed to be. He explained the finace rates and answered all my questions thoroughly. Since my purchase I have brought my truck in for a couple of oil changes and one minor issue with the truck. All my visits to the service dept have been handled on time and profesionally. I have been looking at SRT 8 Challengers for quite awhile. I happened to be in Wallingford and decided to stop in and actually sit in one to get the feel and to see what they are all about. I bought my very first automobile from Executive Honda back in 2000 and was pleased to see that the customer experience continues to be top notch throughout the years. They were very friendly and welcoming before they even realized I was a repeat customer. Even though I knew exactly what I wanted going in and what I wanted to pay for it, Rich was very thorough walking me through all of the features. I loved the passion and enthusiasm he showed for the car I was buying. After the test drive, Dave & Rich offered me a great price on the car despite it only having 5 miles on the odometer and coming fresh off the truck. Finally, in came Chris with a great financing rate and a warm approach to the financing process. Finance managers in dealerships tend to be the pariah jamming all kinds of extra services and fees. Chris made mention of what was available, but quickly moved on when I was not interested in the additional features. I came to Executive looking for a pre-owned Honda Civic with low miles. I was in contact with Nick prior to my visit and told him what I was looking for. He checked his inventory and offered to send me a picture of the car that he thought would fit what I was looking for before I even came in. Nick sent me a number of pictures of both the interior and exterior of the car, and included basic details about mileage etc. Confident that the car was one worth taking a look at, I came down to the dealership. Nick had the car parked right out front waiting for me. We looked the car over inside and out and Nick explained every single feature to me. He really knew a lot about the car which was surprising since this dealership specializes in Dodge and Jeep, not Honda. He was incredibly thorough and did not leave one knob in the car untouched. We took the car for a test drive and I was sold. Nick sat down with me and we ended up agreeing on a great price. Throughout my experience with Nick, I felt very comfortable and never felt pressured. He left his sales pitches at home and seemed to be more concerned with getting me in the right car at the right price. I am writing to warn everyone about the dishonest and unethical sales practices at Executive Dodge Jeep in Wallingford, Connecticut.I live in Indiana and after looking very seriously for a Hummer H3 for over six months, I found one on Executive Dodge Jeep's website that seemed to be just what I wanted. I called to ask about it and the salesman told me it was "pristine." He offered to send me photos from his cell phone. (The dealership had only posted a stock photo on the internet.) He sent me several pictures, all low resolution and taken from a distance. However, on the phone he assured me over and over again that the vehicle was "pristine" and he added that he couldn't find a flaw on it anywhere. This H3 only had 27,135 miles on it, but it was nevertheless a 2007 so I would have expected at least a few minor imperfections. Therefore, I asked the salesman point blank if it had any paint chips from rocks and he said no. I asked him to look along the edges of the doors because that is a common place for dings, and he said there were no dings. I asked about scratches, and he said there were none anywhere. He said that the paint job was perfect, that the vehicle was immaculate and he repeatedly used the word "pristine." He also told me that the vehicle had never been in an accident.The vehicle was priced at about $3000 under the kbb.com value for a 2007 H3 with low mileage in "excellent" condition. I asked why it was priced so low and he told me it had been on their lot for a couple of months at a higher price and it hadn't sold, so the General Manager decided to lower the price and post it online to move it. He also said there were several people who were considering buying it because it was such a "steal" so if I wanted it, I'd better put a $1000 deposit on it right away.Well.... I believed him. Am I stupid? Naive? Maybe. I'm one of those people who is honest to the bone, and I always trust people and think that they're honest too. I should know better by now. I got a loan, bought the vehicle, and had it shipped to Indiana. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! Upon receipt of the vehicle this past Sunday, I noticed immediately that there are tons of paint chips and scratches all over it. Many of the scratches are very long and DEEP -- down to the primer and bare metal. I also noticed right away that the vehicle appears to have been wrecked. The red paint on the grill does not match the red on the rest of the vehicle and the hood doesn't align with the grill but rather sits at least 1/4" below it. I felt sick to my stomach. I knew in an instant that I had been PURPOSELY lied to and ripped off. The driver of the transport truck knew I would be upset. He commented that the vehicle had a lot of problems and said that it looked like a contractor had owned it because it was so banged up. He gave me a copy of the Bill of Lading and pointed out that he had marked seventeen major defects above and beyond minor nicks, dents, and scratches found on any used vehicle. He showed me where he had put an s after several of the defect abbreviations to indicate that there were multiple paint chips and scratches in those locations, and he told me he had to track the General Manager of the dealership down in order to get him to sign the document, but he did in fact sign it.I called the salesman and asked him why he told me the vehicle was "pristine" and he said "It IS pristine!" I told him there were more paint chips, dings, and scratches than I could begin to count and that the vehicle appeared to have been wrecked, but he stuck to his story and repeated the word "pristine" several more times. I told him I wanted to have the vehicle shipped back at the dealer's expense and I expected a full refund. It was Sunday so he said he would talk to his General Manager the following day and they would try to resolve the problem.The next day I called the General Manager myself and asked for his help. However, he echoed his salesmans sentiment with regard to the vehicle, proclaiming It IS pristine! and adding that hed had the vehicle on his showroom floor and everyone who saw it oohed and aaahed over it. I told him I did not want to debate the definition of the word "pristine" because it was a matter of opinion, but the fact remained that the salesperson told me the vehicle had absolutely NO paint chips, NO scratches, NO dings, and NO flaws of any kind.After a lengthy discussion, the General Manager offered to have the vehicle "detailed" for me saying that the scratches would "buff out." I told him that I'm no body shop expert but I'm smart enough to know that scratches that are down to the primer or bare metal don't just "buff out" and paint chips don't either. He said that I had purchased a used vehicle, that he wasn't going to take it back unless it had structural damage, and that I had gotten a "bargain" on it implying that I had nothing to complain about. I replied that it was no bargain in light of the fact that the body is in such poor condition and furthermore, the fact that the vehicle is used is not a valid excuse for deliberately concealing the truth about it. I asked him if he would look at photos of the vehicle if I sent him some and he said he would. I sent him 43 close-up photographs showing the scratches, paint chips, and misaligned hood. The photos speak for themselves. He has acknowledged the receipt of the photos but so far, he has not commented on them.I agreed to get estimates for detailing (although I did not agree that detailing would resolve the problem). Thus far, I have talked to people at one detail shop and two body shops. All of them have had the same opinion that buffing will only remove surface scratches and that the vehicle needs extensive body work to remove the deep scratches and paint chips which are on every panel of the vehicle. Exactly! They also agreed that the front grill was probably not original because the paint on it doesnt match the rest of the vehicle, and they noted that the hood is very misaligned both indicators that the vehicle has probably been in an accident. They explained to me that repairs which are not turned into insurance and not completed at a dealership do not always get reported to CarFax. To make matters worse, both body shops noticed that there are two melon-sized dents on the roof of the vehicle possibly from a garage door opener closing on it or from hauling 2x4 boards or other similar construction materials.Executive Auto Groups motto according to their website -- is Treat Every Customer Like Our Best Friend and they refer to their honest and courteous staff. When Executive Dodge Jeep knows that a vehicle has numerous deep scratches and paint chips and deliberately lies about it to make a sale, it not only discredits their parent company and tarnishes their reputation, it leaves their customer feeling ripped off and victimized. I may have been incredibly foolish to believe what the Sales staff at Executive Dodge Jeep told me on the phone, but that doesnt excuse their dishonesty.I am still trying to resolve this problem with the dealership. I believe that they should restore the vehicle to the condition they represented to me as the buyer or honor my right to cancel the deal and recover my losses. However, because I dont feel like much progress is being made toward a resolution, I have decided to share my story online. If I can save even ONE person from making the same mistake I made in trusting this dealer, then the effort to post my experience on the internet will be well worth it. My husband and I have been shopping for a truck for approximately one month and were looking for either a used Ford or a used Silverado. This is what led us to the Executive Dodge dealership. They had a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500. When I called I spoke to Steve and explained that I wanted to look at it because it had a crew cab, low miles, but I was most concerned about the towing capacity because we tow a 7100 lb. 29 foot 2010 camper and would like to have maximum towing capacity of at least 8000 lb. When I arrived at the dealership the truck was conveniently parked out front and running since it was a hot 100 degree day. I met Nick who was polite and started to take my information, but since I really wanted to know the towing information, I stopped him because the truck was dependent on this. He quickly went to Ryan, the used car manager, who had Chevy experience and researched it. He explained why this would not be a good choice for me due to the towing limitations. I have to say I was quite disappointed because the truck was beautiful, but I truly appreciate his honesty because he could have sold me this truck and I would have had problems with it because it would not have been able to do what I wanted it to do. Both men were courteous and extremely helpful. They located another truck; a Dodge Ram. We made an appointment to see this truck. Unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations...there was too much body work that needed to be fixed, but Nick said he would keep in contact with us. I recently purchased a used Kia Spectra at Executive Dodge-Jeep and overall had a very good purchase experience. The sales person was courteous, reasonable and low-key, and worked out a good competitive price with me, and the dealership delivered the car in well-maintained tip-top shape. The dealership may have been a little aggressive in urging extended warranties, but discussions after the purchase reassured me that I got what I needed. Finally, this dealership promises a strong emphasis on customer service. I received a customer satisfaction survey right from the start and follow up calls to see how happy I was with my purchase. I am new to this dealership, but signs are very good that its service department is going support me vigorously in the future to keep my Spectra in good working order.

Please I beg you, do not buy a car from this place. I bought a Certified 2006 Jeep Commander Limited from them in February 2009 and it has been a nightmare ever since. They seem great up front but as soon as the deal was done it went all down hill from there. We agreed to buy the car but had some concerns and they assured us that they could take care of them. There were some scratches on the car that we wanted someone to try to buff out and a large scratch on the rear bumper that was very visible. It took bringing the car back to the dealership 4 different times to get this completely resolved, and I live more than an hour from where they are located. On top of that, as part of the Jeep Certified program, they are supposed to include two keys. Well they did include two keys but one of them was broken off at the part that attaches to a keychain. I brought this up to them and they said they could do nothing about it. After asking 4 more times, they finally said, well maybe we can fix it, let's give it to parts and see what they can do. Three months later after still not receiving the key and being assured over and over again that it had been mailed out, I wanted to know what they were going to do about it. They said "Nothing" and that they were not "required by law to provide a second key." UNBELIEVABLE. Finally, from the very beginning I noticed that the front brakes squeaked considerably and I brought that up as well. They had the service department look at it one of the multiple times I brought it back and said that everything looked fine, they "reset" the brakes and it was fixed. Well it wasn't fixed, and the next time I brought it in to my local Jeep dealership for regular service, I asked them to look at it. They said if they had sold me the car, they'd replace them at no charge. So I went back to Executive Jeep and told them I wanted it fixed. For once they actually agreed to do something, but of course only after having driven the car for three months with squealing brakes. I hope no one else has to go through the amount of frustration and anger that I went through with these complete morons. Once again, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM EXECUTIVE JEEP DODGE OF WALLINGFORD.
