I bought my vehicle here and bring it here for it's service as well. Most recently Mike helped me and was a pleasure to work with. He got me set up with another vehicle while mine was being fixed and made sure to keep me informed about what was going on with my vehicle. The work was done promptly and I haven't had any issues since!
Service department is awesome
Had a few issues with my jeep, upon talking with Shawn in the service department he reassured me that my issue would be resolved. Thank you caring enough to investigate and finally fixing our check engine light, running great now
Excellent service department
Had a bad experience with Chevy service department (3 hour oil change), so I was Leary to return. Tire light wouldn't go off... So I reluctantly called Chrysler/dodge service dept. they got me in right away and pulled a nail from my tire. Light still didn't go off... So they got me in the next day and found a faulty tire sensor. They even did my oil change and tire rotation while I was waiting. Only took an hour and was completely covered by warranty. Amazing crew! Will definitely go back!
Extremely rude management
I tried to purchase a used car from this dealership and the manager, Anthony, was so rude and confrontational. My former car had been totaled and he said over the phone he would need proof that my old car was paid in full. I came in and told him that I spoke with my bank and they advised there was no lien on the car, and that he can see it on the dmv website. He now decided he wanted a lien release instead. I worked with the bank and sent him the lien release the following day. He then called me and said that this process has just been too convoluted and will not sell me the car. After jumping through all of his ridiculous hoops, being approved for financing through Chrysler bank via the dealership, agreeing on a price, and test driving the car numerous times, Anthony decided he will not sell me the car. He has a condescending tone and is flat out rude! Worst customer service I've ever seen and huge waste of time. I've never had a dealership literally not want to sell a vehicle. I will never waste my time there again and will tell everyone I know about their awful service.
worst service i have ever had
Never felt like I was a valued customer. Jeep was in for more than a week, had to call several times to get updates. At two different times when I called , I was told the vehicle was worked on the previous day. I wouldn't go back here under any circumstances
Flawless....Thanks Ewald Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram
Turns out my terrible experience at Boucher Cadillac in Waukesha lead me to visit Ewald Chrysler in Oconomowoc. Great place to work with...no games and quick. Worked with Bruce and Amanda. Thanks to both for helping me. I suggest looking to Ewald for your vehicle before shopping elsewhere.
Used car purchase.
I recently purchased a used Chrysler Town and Country vehicle and the sales and financial people were fantastic. They answered all of our questions and showed us anything we wanted to see. A very good experience.

Purchase was quick and easy. With technology these days, the buyer can compare prices and knows when they're getting a good deal. I researched the vehicle I wanted on my own and when it came time to buy, I contacted several dealerships. In a matter of a few days the deal was made. Thank you to Ewald for keeping the process moving. No pressure from anyone. Felt like it was entirely my decision.

After settling on a used 2011 Ram, Brian worked with us to settle price and financing so that we were satisfied. The business manager gave us several options for warranties, carefully explaining them all to us. Since Brian was on pre-scheduled a vacation when we actually picked up the truck, another salesman filled in for him, showing us the vechicle controls, etc. Great teamwork & first class treatment by everyone at Ewalds.

Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee to this Jeep dealer to fix my car alarm that was going off all the time. After keeping the car for two days, they were unable to fix the problem. Their final solution was to remove the whole alarm system. The rip off costed $650, should I decide not to remove the system, they will charge me $500 just for their unprofessional diagnostic of the car. You are better off taken your car to a general mechanic, these guys are worthless technically speaking ....although they must be doing very well financially, ripping off customers !!!!!!

Jeff was well informed about the vehicle we came to see, was efficient in getting a test drive and pricing, and was professional yet friendly throughout the process. Amanda in the business office was also professional and efficient with a great bed side manner. We were in and out in record time and sincerely appreciate it!

I had a great NO HASSLE experience at Ewald Oconomowoc. Was able to negotiate most of the deal over email. It was well worth the drive from my house in Franklin.

Just bought a new jeep grand Cherokee! I love it. Very fair price and great finance arrangements. Better rate than I could get with my credit union. I serviced my old jeep there for a few years and always had a good experience. Thank you!

Hi Eric,As I sat in the service waiting room today, I had a chance to read some of the handwritten notes sent by your customers to thank you for the great deals and service you offered them. Larger dealerships don't always give you the best prices and service when it comes to trading in your old vehicle to buy a new one. You were able to give us more for our 2010 trade towards the new 2012 purchase. Both Steve at the KIA dealership and Andy at the Jeep dealership were more interested in making us a Happy Ewald Customer rather than just pushing us into buying any new car. Amanda was helpful in handling the paperwork and giving us additional info. John handled the service request in a very helpful and timely manner. We are so happy to be dealing with you and your team again, and thank you for all you did for us. Best wishes to all.

Came in on a Saturday to look for a new car/van. Found a Town and Country that was loaded and beautiful. Price was fair. Did a trade-in. I hate to haggle for a price. I told them what I was willing to pay, they brought the manager over, and we came to a fair price. It took awhile for the financing person, but she was awesome. The banks closed and we still did not finish shopping for the best rates, so they sent me home with the van for the weekend (gas included!)It gave me the opportunity to test the van and we went back on Monday for final paper work. Rate was better than we were initially told-nice bonus! No real negative issues, except it was a wait and it would have been nice to have been offered something to drink. I was told they had a vending machine. Bottle of water would have costed then about 25 cents!

This was the absolute worst experience at a delearship I have ever had. They tried to push me around and trick me into buying a vehicle making it seem like I was trying to steal a vehicle from them. Don't go to them if you want to haggle they don't want to hear it.

We purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee from Eric Ewald at Ewald Automotive Group. I hate it when a salesman or sales manager is not extremely knowledgeable about the car you are buying and the competition. Eric is the opposite. He has excellent knowledge of the Jeep line and all of the competition. He is friendly but not pushy. He is also accommodating, and we were able to purchase a new vehicle at a good price with an excellent value for our trade. There was no haggling. We will give Ewald Automotive the first shot on our next car purchase.

We had searched the Internet. We visited dealers in Milwaukee, Franklin & Reedsburg. There was a pair of FWD vehicles at Ewald Oconomowoc, we were also shown the Patriot...the Compass had just the package we needed.Jeff even sweetened the deal because we made a repeat visit.Fine job done by all.Ray S

I was interested in a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and checked several sources to locate and price the vehicle I wanted. Using the internet and visiting a number of dealerdships I was most impressed with the car buying experience at the Ewald Dealership. While working with Eric Ewald and Bruce Lavine I was given a very thorough presentation of the vehicle. This was something I had never previously experienced when looking to purchase a vehicle. The vehicle price and finance rates were the best that I was able to obtain without having to negotiate. I highly recommend th dealership.

I bought a used 2007 Town and Country and went to Ewald Chrysler in Oconomowoc for routine service. For the two years I had service there, I never left feeling good about the experience. The last time I was there (which will be THE last), I forgot to mention an issue during the write-up and he got mad at me because he had already printed the sheet. I guess it was my fault for dropping off late on a Friday. The issue never did make onto the work order.I approved the work order for $220 dollars and got a call that the repairs would be $900. When I asked her to explain what the repairs were for, she said she would have to call me back after talking to the tech. I instead went to get my van because they would be closing in an hour. I got there and told her I did not have time to do the repairs, I got the magic total for $220. I indicated I would not be paying $220 dollars for an oil-change, so she dropped off everything but the diagnostic (the info I had already given them in the hopes to save the rip-off $40 bucks they charge to plug the van into a computer) and the oil-change. The brakes I has replaced previously have been squeaking since they were put on. When I pressed the service manager, he said if I had put on the ceramic pads, I would not have had the problem. I think a reputable dealership would not offer a pad that squeaks continuously and if they do, they should mention it before the work is done. Finally I spoke to Eric Ewald who runs the dealership. I asked him to waive the diagnostic and we could just go our separate ways. He told me he does not pay customers go away and would not waive the charge. Well, I've gone away and won't return. Just makes me regret not paying a little more for the Toyota Sienna. Next time.
