I came to this dealer to buy a new car because a year ago I bought a new 2015 Model Soul! and was very happy with it. The problem is it got completely totaled in a 4 car wreck on I75/85 in downtown Atlanta. I had a car in the lane next to me get hit, and go airborne, crashing down on the right front of my Soul!, and then another car hit me in the right rear trying to avoid the accident. My car was totaled, but my grandson and I were protected so well inside the Soul! that neither of us had to be hospitalized. Between "crumple zones", seat belts and great air bags, like the ones in the seats, we could walk away from this terrible wreck.So there was no doubt in my mind that I would get another Kia to replace the one that saved our lives.I bought my 2015 (first Kia I ever owned) at Ed Voyles in Smyrna Ga, and that was the place I felt comfortable shopping for my replacement vehicle. I went on line first because I wanted another ! model. It appeared there were next to none 2015's left in the Atlanta area, and only a handful of the 2016 model !'s . The only one that interested me was over in Chamblee, but the same Ed Voyle Ownership. I was happy with Ed Voyles in Smyrna when I bought my 2015, so I stopped in there. I was lucky and found the Salesman I worked with last year, Jeff Braum. I told him about the accident, showed him pictures and told how pleased I was with the car, and wanted a replacement. It got totaled but it saved my Grandson and myself from serious injury. I liked the car and had no complaints, and I was so impressed with its safety, that a direct replacement is the only car I would consider.I showed Jeff Braun pics of the accident, told him my story, and showed him a print out of the car I wanted. I did a lot of on-line shopping and and only found one in the Atlanta area that had all the options I wanted. It was a 2016 ( ! model again, an almost exact match except color, and I like new color more than my 2015) and Jeff was super to work with again. He worked with me on a price I felt was fair, and discounts.He personally went over to the other dealership in Chamblee to get the car and bring it back to Smyrna. He got it detailed, made sure everything was perfect, came over to my house, picked me up in his car and drove me to Smyrna. We finalized the sale in no time because the gentleman in Finance/Closing, Melvin Cain, was also great and very helpful. It was a Knockout, One -Two punch team.I am extremely happy working with these 2 gentlemen and this dealership, and appreciate the speed and amount of effort they both made in getting me behind the wheel of another great car.

Diana was an excellent customer service agent. My engine light was on and she explained their process for checking it out as well as checking routine items such as tire tread, fluids, etc. the shuttle driver was great as well. He took rah passenger's name Ned phone number so he could follow up to see if we needed to have the shuttle pick us up when our cars were ready. Turns out it was the gas cap not being tight enough... I would definitely recommend Ed Voyles for great service!

Dropped the car off for brake pad replacement. Diana was great. AAA dropped the vehicle overnight and Diana took it in first thing. She made sure the brakes were replaced and also checked and found an open recall. That was addressed as well. Then Diana took payment over the phone, left everything in the seat and left the car so we could pick up after hours. It couldn't have been easier.

A couple of weeks ago, after fueling my car up at a gas station, I could not get my drivers side door to open. I couldn't figure out why my door would not open, all of a sudden. My other doors would open, but not the driver's side door. Fortunately, I was able to climb over my passenger seat and open it from the inside. I researched on-line to see what could be causing this. I was surprised to find that a large number of Kia Sorento owners were experiencing the same issue. I called Ed Voyles Kia and explained what was going on and thought there must be a recall on this part, especially since there were so many people having the same issue. I was told they did not see an open recall, but that my vehicle did have a recall for the transmission gear shift lever. I scheduled an appointment to get that fixed and asked them to please take a look at the door. Once they looked at my car, I was called and told the issue was a door latch (which I already assumed after the on-line research) and that it was from "wear and tear". I am astounded that a door latch can break after five years. There are others on-line that reported it broke much earlier than that, some within a year. Those that were still under warranty did get theirs fixed, but my warranty expired last summer. I was quoted an outrageous fee to get the door latch fixed. The labor cost was even more than that. I was told it was because it was inside of the door panel - which I was already being charged over $100 to open up to diagnose the issue. I somewhat question if they even opened it up to diagnose the problem since everything that was in my door seemed undisturbed, but maybe they are just good at putting everything back in the same exact location as it was previously. I declined the service and picked up my car. I asked for the part number and the name of the part I need. I looked it up and was able to find the part on amazon for 1/3 of the cost that they were going to charge me. I am extremely disappointed with Kia for not honoring a replacement for a defective/poorly designed door latch. I am outraged with the quote I received from Ed Voyles Kia service department to get it fixed. I suppose my expectations may be too high, and that I have misguided thoughts that most people have a high degree of integrity and for companies to have higher standards.I will say that Diana is a pleasant person to deal with, she has helped me in the past, and she is very personable. I am assuming that most of this is out of her control, as she did try to get her manager to talk to me to see if there is anything she could do, to no avail.

My car sat at this dealership for 2 weeks and I had to call service agent Diana Bell numerous times to find out the status of my car. I made a complaint with her service manager, who then lied to me about my car issue being discovered. After that, I demanded to speak to the General Manager, John Schibi. John came up with a temporary solution and told me I would hear from my service agent the next day. At 4:30pm the next day, no one had called me so I called and was told to pick my car up. Two weeks later and they were unable to solve the issue my car had. After they seemingly forgot that they had my vehicle and failed to update me daily, the experience picking up my car made things worse. The service rep checked in my loaner and then stood near me for 10 minutes picking at his fingernails and didn't notify me of the low gas tank. Instead he allowed me to wait 10 minutes next to him only to have someone else tell me. After I came back 20 minutes later I noticed my car was not waiting for me, as if 2 weeks wasn't enough. Instead Diana Bell was sitting in her office chatting with another agent and the service rep that checked me in was chatting with a Cashier. While waiting another 8 minutes for the service rep to bring my car to me, I ask the cashier for the name of the General Manager and she replies that she doesnt know how to spell his name and doesn't even bother to ask a colleague or look it up. When my car comes, after 2 weeks of sitting in their garage, I notice that they didn't even run it through their car wash, as it is customary to do at dealerships. The service rep gets out of my car and I notice that he does not remove the standard paper mats from my car where he and the mechanics have undoubtedly transferred oils and other car fluids onto my mat. Even after hearing me make all of these complaints and seeing how extremely irate I was, neither the service rep nor Diana Bell offered me a simple apology. Instead, Diana said, Have a Merry Christmas.

Salesman gave me a price for a Kia Sorento SX with or without my trade in which was supposed to include everything (taxes, fees, etc). When I'm ready to buy they added another 6k to the price I was given talking about that my original price given to me didn't include taxes and other fees when originally they said it did. I have everything they said they were going to offer me in writing but now they have amnesia.

My wife and I were looking for a car (Kia Sportage), We left with a New Kia Soul. Our sales person was Mr. Joe Ramsey III. Joe greeted us in the parking lot before our scheduled appointment as we were looking for our car, We saw the Black Kia Soul and my wife feel in love with it. Joe then said, "Let me go get your keys!" He claimed our car right on the spot. We then went inside the Business and the place was Awesome. Hot dogs and hamburgers cooking on the outside, and popcorn popping on the inside. the smells were great. We were there a few hours, but we were well taking care of in the process. Blake assisted me through the entire process. I initially called to find out if they had the Kia Soul model I wanted with specific features. Blake kindly offered to walk outside to the car while I was on the phone and confirm the specific features I was interested in. Over the phone, he confirmed each of the features I wanted in the car where in fact available on the car they had in-stock. I was impressed by this. I decided to go the dealership after work to look at the car. I arrived late, around 7:00, and Blake had the car out and ready for me to test drive. This made is quick and easy to get started on my test drive. When we returned from the test drive, I presented the price I wanted to pay for the car, and Blake accepted the offer with his manager. I have to see this was the best car buying experience I have ever had! Thank you, Blake. You were so helpful and professional.

From the moment I arrived (9:00am) to the moment I departed the dealership (6:00pm), I had a great experience buying my car from Joe Ramsey. Joe was patient, knowledgeable, and not pushy. Ed Voyles dealership was impressive in many ways. They have more "on the lot" inventory of vehicles than any dealership I have ever stepped foot on; their prices are better than any other dealership, hands down (thank you!), and the hamburgers / hot dogs they grill for their customers at lunch time on Saturday are the best ever (many thanks to the grill master and the dealership!). If looking to buy a new Kia, do yourself a favor, go to Ed Voyles and request Joe Ramsey as your salesman.

I just bought a Kia Optima. I worked with Joe and he was AWESOME! I procrastinated about shopping for a car for months because my last experience was not enjoyable to say the least. The sales men were super aggressive and I don't like that. Joe was extremely helpful and patient. In not the easiest customer because I have lots of questions and I'm very very picky and thoughtful before making large purchases. Joe managed me very well. I couldn't have asked for better service. After calling every dealership in the Atlanta area, I found the exact vehicle I was looking for and Joe was able to track it down for me. From the moment it left the port to be transported to Ed Voyles, Joe kept me informed every step of the way no matter what time of the day it was. Even during late hours Joe and Larry in finance were always available to answer the phone whenever I had a question. I purchased a Caribbean Blue Soul EV+ out of state and not only was the whole process smooth and problem-free, Joe even went as far as arranging the transport so they can ship the car right to my door! I don't know how I can recommend working with this team more. Thanks again guys.

Went into Kia and was not very excited about car shopping I had went to cobb county Kia a year before and had the worst experience of my life!!!!!!!!!! I called an spoke to Sinjin 30 mins into coming in, Told him I totaled my car and was looking into getting a 2015 Kia soul. He told me to come right in and that he would be waiting on me. Sure enough when I came in with my mom Sinjin was waiting on me and my mom. He was very VERY nice, He knew a lot about cars and A lot about Kia as well. He was very open but also did not talk my ear off, he did not try to get me to look at other cars that I didn't want and most of all I appreciated his honesty. If I had ran into more car sales men like this I wouldn't Have been so terrified to car shop. I left with a 2015 Kia soul, he walked me thru every step. Thank you SinJin It really means the world to me. This guy deserves a raise and Hopefully he is with this company A LONG time. I always liked the Kia Soul and I trust Ed Voyles dealerships. I purchased a Honda Civic from Ed Voyles Honda last year. I don't have the best credit and I went in with doubts because I only had $700 to put down, I wish I would have come to Ed Voyles sooner. My salesman Blake was the best and he made everything easy, even charging my phone for me. The finance man was also very great, I asked for a monthly payment under 300 and he made it so I could have gap coverage as well as extended warranty for $249 a month. I'm very grateful and I love my Forte.

Purchased a 2016 Kia Sorento SXL V6 in January from Ed Voyles Kia. I went there because I felt something was wrong at Cobb County Kia (i.e. getting ripped off). I sat down with Blake to review my options based on my finances and learned that I was able to get an SXL for roughly $100 less per month than an SX at Cobb County Kia. He explained that the Ed Voyles franchise does not allow any add on's on to ANY vehicle they sell, so you are strictly negotiating for the vehicle itself and not dealer added options that a consumer may not want. He was extremely knowledgeable and took my time into consideration by trying to move as quickly as possible to answer any and all questions I had. He went a step further when I explained that Cobb County Kia had not provided me a second key fob for my 2013 Kia Optima. He quickly got me some information on whom to contact about this. A few weeks later, I had my second key fob (programmed to my car) and a check from Kia for a full reimbursement. He had won me for life, single handed to the Ed Voyles group. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful, kind and aware sales associate. Made sure to keep in touch via Text to make sure that all was going as I had hoped with the new car and made sure to let me know that he was available to help however he could. AWESOME experience.I also had the privilege of working with Diana Bell in regards to my Key fob programming on my Optima. She worked just as quickly as Blake in the service center to get me in, and on my way so I could resume my day. I will be calling her exclusively for any and all appointments that I need to make.Thank you Ed Voyles Kia... from the sales associates (Blake specifically), to the business manager, to Tahir, to Diana.... I stopped in to test drive a Kia Soul after having been without a car for 7 months due to a near-fatal car accident. Mike Lehman helped me in not only test driving, but trying to figure out what would be the best option for me. I never once felt pushed, pressured, or uncomfortable. In fact, I actually spent two hours (after only test driving one vehicle) at the dealership simply talking to Mike over my car searching, my accident, financing options, and general life stuff. He was not only kind, but personable, quite funny, and genuinely concerned about both my welfare and how best he could help on the car front. My 2013 KIA Sorrento presented with a weird symptom last night. The running lights and tail lights on the left side would not turn off and stayed on all night. At least it started this morning and I was able to take it to Ed Voyles KIA for repair. Since I didn't have an appointment they would have to work me in and I knew I might be there most of the morning, but such is life. I had only finished one cup of coffee when the service writer asked me if I had added any aftermarket items to the KIA. I couldn't think of anything like a radio, speakers, GPS or etc. that had been added so the answer was no. He said the service department had discovered a non factory wire and a fuse attached to the battery. I was really intrigued and a bit suspicious of what this might be. I followed him to the service area and talked with the technician who was not sure what it was for either. Another technician came over and asked it I had added a trailer package which I remembered we had done two years ago. He said that the V6 came with the towing module but that it had to be added on the 4 cylinder which I have. That was the culprit! It had nothing to do with KIA at all and boy did I feel foolish. They were very nice and buttoned the front back up and sent me on my way to see my trailer guy. No charge! Fantastic guys! I'll continue to go back from now on. Thanks again. Five stars guys, keep up the great customer service.

We were in the market for two vehicles, an SUV, and a sedan. On the first day, we test drove a few vehicles, and I liked the Sorento, and the Optima. I am completely impressed by the service, the courtesy and respect I was given the moment I walked into this dealer. This is my second purchase through the Ed Voyles family and I believe the service that I received at Ed Voyles Kia was the among the best. I went through Truecar.com to obtain a price and salesman Glenn Stevenson contacted me via e-mail. Glenn made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed during the entire process. There was no high pressure. He did not talk up the car, to "sell" the car, because honestly the car sold itself. He was simply there to answer any questions that I may have had about the car. Glenn was a very nice person that made you feel as though you were friends for life and had been since you were kids. I was also impressed with this dealer as they empower their employees to make decisions that do not create a high pressure situation. I was not going to trade may other vehicle in as it was not in showroom condition to get the best deal in a trade. Glenn mentioned it to me and since i was not going to trade it anyway, I decided it was okay for them to look at it. Amazingly they came back with a price on that vehicle that surprised me! Another aspect of my purchase was the financing portion of the deal. I had already had the financing in place when I walked in. Glenn just mentioned and in no way pressured me to look into financing through them. I thought we should at least look into it. I ended up financing through the bank that they had affiliations with because they were able to get me a 3.3% reduction in APR. My 73 year old mother recieved a letter from KIA . The letter stated there was a malfunction to the stop lamp switch, which could cause her car not to have BRAKE LIGHTS !! The recall was at no cost to her. They did a "ROUTINE 10 POINT INSPECTION " . They charged her with the follow ~ stated on the paperwork ~ "AT THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST'" Replace engine air filter, cabin filter, cabin air filter, rear brake pads, air fuel inducton, tire rotation and tire pressure service, 4 wheel alignment, and a 30.00 charge for MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES AND DEDUCTIONS !! She was then put in a rental car which was claimed to be another free provided service and was charged 35.00 more dollars. Her total bill came to 609.09 !!!! OUR FAMILY IS OUTRAGED FOR KIA RAILROADING OUR ELDERLY MOTHER, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED !!! We went to the dealer to try to reduce our car payments through a new car. This was clearly stated when we sat down. Were told that a pre-owned was red. Wife obvjected to color. NO mention of 2013s on the lot. Saw a TV ad stating that Ed Voyles 2013s were at $139/mo. I realized that we had a higher balance on th other car and that 139 might not be had, but the $339 payment is higher than what we came in with and we are now a loser. I know that I cater to my wife and in this case should not have done so. I am unhappy with a salesman who steered us in a direction that benefitted him and not us.Basically it is my own fault, but really wish that our initial desires were truly considered.

I am writing because your service department, especially Diana Bell and a unknown technician went out of their way to help my wife on Friday, Nov. 22,2013. We live in middle Ga. and my wife was in town for a few meetings when she struck a curb and blew out a front tire. She was very distraught being in an unfamiliar place and the end of the day on a Friday no less. After calling Kia customer service and finding out some disturbing news, about not having even a space saver in her car, I contacted Ed Voyles service dept and spoke with Keith, he is the shop foreman. He checked to see if they had the correct tire in stock, which they did, and then gave the information to Diana Bell. He told me to call back and talk with Diana Bell after calling and updating my wife. It was after 5 pm when the tow truck got to my wife's location and although it was a short drive to the dealership, at 5 pm on Friday afternoon it took some time. The whole time waiting for the tow truck we were not sure if we would be able to get the car repaired and out before closing time. One technician stayed late repairing my wife's car professionally and Diana Bell assisted my wife with all the details. They were able to complete the transaction quickly and efficiently with a fair price. I have to be honest that I was concerned with all the things that were not in our favor as far as, being from out of town, late Friday evening, very rare tire that was needed, and a woman on her own. But the service dept, especially Diana Bell, Keith(the shop foreman), and the technician all were very fair and helpful beyond what we could have expected. I went to Kia with the intention of looking at cars for a future purchase. I'd say that I was 90% sure that I wanted to purchase a car but was looking for ideas on this specific day. I went online approx. 2 weeks ago to view but was not sure. I went to another dealership (not a Kia dealership) prior to visiting this one on this day. Upon arrival, I received a very warm and friendly reception by James Robichaud. He asked if he could help me and what I was looking for. After talking for a while, he asked where I was from (I'm from NY and did not have a Southern accent). Hmmmm, we are both from NY. He introduced me to the other staff, they were just as welcoming. Another on this team lived in NY and was from my old neighborhood, hmmmmmm. I am a firm believer that nothing is by accident. Mr. Robichaud and I walked, talked, and viewed many vehicles. He spoke about each car we viewed, the incentives to purchase, the financing process, and about the team who actual speak to the banks for finance approval. I felt no pressure and actually very relaxed. The Kia team seemed to be a very cohesive group who worked well together and know their product (James, Fred, and Andy). After receiving all of this information, I realized that I was past ready to purchase my new car. James, you know your stuff! To help me be comfortable with my decision, I was allowed to take the car for a test drive AND take it overnight. What! I could not ask for anything more. This gave me time to think about it AND PRAY ABOUT IT, I knew I would have an answer. Well today I am happy to report, I purchased my car and am VERY, VERY, HAPPY. The entire process was smooth, no pressures, and quick. I want to add that to my surprise the APR was well below what I expected and I met my monthly payment amount less $22. After a week of going back and forth with the salesman on your very limited number of options and almost 4 hour negotiation on Saturday I thought that I would be able to get my wife a new car by Monday. I bought a car insurance and a cashiers check for the down payment, and when I went to the dealership today Andy Ratliff was kind enough to let me know that my loan was no approved, why didnt they told me that on Saturday???, actually when I left the dealership on Sat, my understanding was that everything was signed and approved and they were just waiting on my down payment, I even sign contracts!He explained to me the reasons for the denial and I dont have a problem with than, my issue is that nobody told me that on Saturday and made me waste my time and money, I now have a car insurance that is going to cost me $30 to cancel (which Im expecting Ed Voyles Kia to refund). Going back to your question on how I like my new Sorento, the answer is not very much, my experience was everything but wonderful and Ive already expressed my complaints. Again, my issue was not about the loan denial, was about the communication. I might be able to buy the car without the loan but Im strongly considering doing if from a different brand and/or dealership.

My wife and I were in today looking to buy a 2013 Kia Soul and Tony W. was our salesperson. Tony was a very nice guy (nothing bad to say about him)and super cool to our 4 yr old son! We test drove the car and went in to work up numbers on our trade in. We didn't have the trade in with us but Tony say could work up est. number based on questions about the car and vin # so we started. This is when things went bad! Tony came back with and insult of an offer so far off from what kbb or autotrader said was worth for trade in that it was not even funny.I don't know the sale mgr name but he has no clue how to do his job and cost the dealership a sale! What really made me mad was as we walked out of the dealership the sales mgr come following us out saying he would offer me more money (close to what I thought it was worth)and wanted to shake my hand.... I said no and I wouldn't be doing business with someone who insulted me and we left. I would never buy a car from this dealership!

I used the Costco auto program to help me find the best deal on a new Kia Soul. I am a recent college graduate buying my first new car and my dad was able to call Fred and he gave us ALL the information we needed to know about leasing or buying, including numbers. That was great! While we were filling out all the financial info online, Glenn called me and asked if I was going to come in that night to get my car. He was able to have the team get my car ready to go before I even got there. He also remembered my name from another website, CarWoo! I was using to find the exact Soul I wanted. Even though it was close to closing time when I arrived, they stayed open while I filled out all of the paper work and I was able to drive away in my Alien Soul that night! I was so disgusted with the car buying process and was actually on my way home (following my husband in the other car) when he turns off and goes to Ed Voyles. I was furious, because I was so done with the process, but he convinced me to come in, and Travis took over and turned my entire experience into a positive one. We now have a new Kia Soul (to replace a 2003 Rio and 2003 Spectra), and Travis, the manager, and the man who appraised our 2 cars, went out of their way to make us happy and satisfied customers.

AB was the first person to introduce himself when I was in the showroom. I was in looking for an Optima SX Turbo, Premium Touring pkg w/ UVO system, Titanium Metal. He took the time to show me inventory in that color, researched inventory and was proactive about contacting Car Max Auto Finance about my pay-off amount.I appreciated that he was willing to give me his time and was interested in establishing a buying relationship that I trusted right away. I also appreciate that he walked me through the purchase process and pricing on paper (which another dealership in the region was not willing to do). We were able to find the inventory immediately with only 42 miles on the odometer. We visited Ed Voyles Kia on Saturday. We were very pleased with our sales rep Tony. He was fantastic and no hassle. We were quite surprised that we were able to pick up the car on the same day. Not only did our needs get met we didn't leave frustrated. We were quite frustrated with another car dealership and thought lets give this one a try. Travis takes the old time stigma out of the "CAR SALESMAN". Travis is knowledgable, articulate and eager to please his customer. From first contact I could tell that Travis was sincere and was someone that I wanted to help me find the vehicle I was looking for. He did not disappoint. Travis immediately went to work searching the region for the vehicle I wanted; color, options, etc. Since the Optima Hybrid with Premium Technology package is a rarity, I was pleasently surprised when he contacted me by e-mail the next day and notified me that he had found my vehicle and had a driver enroute to procure the vehicle for me. Travis came to work on his day off to meet with me and 4 hours later I was sitting at home with my new Optima Hybrid in the garage. Larry Hayden was also a pleasure to work with, as he was subbing for the business manager, who had the day off. Larry flawlessly and seamlessly executed the business process (financing, disclosures, warranty coverage, and final paperwork), even though his primary job is New Car Sales...Hoo-Rah and Semper Fi to this former Marine! Our experience was very pleasant. AB was our new car sales advisor and he was very helpful with the whole experience of buying our first Kia. He really listened to our wants and needs; and went to great lengths to show us different cars in our budget. After we chose the car for us, AB and the finance department really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM BEGINNING TO END!!! I went into Ed Voyles Kia in Smyrna simply to look color options for the Optima. I wasn't planning to purchase for 1-2 months. However, from the point of contact with my salesman, A.B. Chad, I knew I was in the best hands. With the help of the sales manager, Tahir Ilyias, it became the right time. The difference in A.B. Chad's genuine care as a salesman made you forget he was a salesman and he quickly became a friend instead. He listened, gave advice, and went out of his way to get me in the car I had my eye on with NO PRESSURE. Even after the paperwork was signed and the deal was closed, A.B. returned on his off day to fully explain all of the features the vehicle offered, and he made sure I had a clear understanding of how to operate all of my new gadgets. Getting rid of my V8 Explorer was not something I considered a trade-in option in this economy. However, Tahir Ilyias, worked with me with a honest approach and low-pressure presentation making me comfortable to look at the options they could offer.
