I have to say the sales agent we had ( clayton) went above and beyond to get us what we wanted..The staff was very accommodating to our needs.. The owner is very interested in how they did. Not only did we buy one car we purchased two.. ust about the sale, Manager or Owner Daryl seems pleasant but has no control or no clue of his staff. That or he doesn't care after the sale. Couldn't get in contact with salesman after sale.1.Was told when financing if i wasn't going to give a good review don't he rather we didn't give one. ( in a nice way..huh?!) We were asked for a payment date we preferred to be called in a week later and asked to resign paperwork for a lesser rate, which turned out to be a sooner due date.2. Was told oil changes came with the NEW car, for a matter of time. To find out today. It was only the first one! NOT WHAT WAS TOLD!3. Then, WAIT WAIT,,,,,,HERE IS THE BIGGY....I called to speak to Daryl the Manager, The FIRST time they hung up on me. THE SECOND time, i hung up it to so long, THIS TIME, They kept me on hold for (30 MINUTES) I screen shot it, THEN,,,,i went online to submit a contact met message in there website and someone CALLED ME BACK WHILE I WAS STILL ON HOLD (within 3 MINUTES) I told him i was on there other line and had been waiting for a manger. He tried to get me to buy another care (huh) AND Once on the same page, said he would have Daryl call me right back.......wow wow wow......BE CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE....THEY WILL GET YOU A CAR THEN GIVE YOU THE BOOT!*Service Department was Pleasant..Thank you

This dealership seems to have developed a culture in which everyone has the same goal - top quality customer service. Bobby Osiecki went out of his way to help me and he was not even my sales associate. Rob Montgomery is a competent and caring service advisor. He made sure my old Soul was serviced properly, but did not try to up-sell me parts that I did not need. In summary, I have had a good experience with each visit.

I started working with Amanda Riordan initially. She was very helpful and never dropped the ball on following up with me. After deciding on exactly what we were looking for, we then worked out the numbers with John Dew. He was extremely straight forward with the numbers. There were no games, no hiding information etc. We got exactly what we wanted for a very good price. In and out in about an hour and a half. I absolutely despise the whole car buying process, but Amanda and John as well as Dell, a newer sales guy, made it very smooth and comfortable. I'd definitely trade this one in and get another from the same place.

One of the first things I told the sales person was that I did not want a car payment that was $400 or more. I came out with a $415 car payment. I was never told about the warranty that the car came with for free, but instead I felt pressured into buying the separate warranty that ended up costing me several thousand dollars when I could have simply kept the one that the car came with. I later found out that I was actually charged more than the cars original MSRP, but when I called back to ask Brian about it he acted as if he had no idea what the MSRP was. I felt like I was stuck with a car that I had paid entirely too much for, and to make matters worse the car broke down on me 3 days later and I had to call Kia Road Side Assistance to pick it up. The car is a 2015 Optima with only 300 miles on it so the fact that the gas pedal and brake pedal began to malfunction after a few short days of having the car is a bit ridiculous. When I talked to Brian about possibly getting a refund or exchange he said that there was nothing he could do. I called and left him a voicemail to talk to him about the car breaking down on me and he never returned my voicemail. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone!

i'm not one to normally write a bad review on the internet for a company but here i am. i'm in management and i understand things happen and i know all about complaints. none the less i'm taking time out of my day for this. my wife has wanted a brand new car so she went to south blvd kia, she told her sales person (john dew, sorry john for calling you out.) that her payment couldnt be any higher than 300 a month. (sounds reasonable right?) after picking out a kia soul (she was very excited, and we love the car.) he says the payments would be 329 a month well thats not 300. well once you pay off your other car you can refinance after your first 30 day payment. ok so 329 for 1 month then we refinance sounds ok to me. so here we are time to refinance "hey john lets do this." umm oh you have to wait 18 months or you can go through your own bank. wait what? this is not what we were told. okie dokie lets talk to your boss. and the explanation from the supervisor " oh johns still new... lack of training" look kia this is a thousands of dollars. lack of training is an explanation for pickles on a burger. NEXT TIME TRY THIS *** " oh well mrs. blah blah, please bring in the paper work and we will sit down with our finance dept. and get this situation handled. i'm terribly sorry for the trouble. john is still new and will have to be retrained in these matters."***

Very straight forward buying experience. Most times it seems the dealers "believe" that customers want to banter back and forth; not so for me. The people here are really nice, you'll like them! I find buying a vehicle is one of the most stressful things in life. I went to several dealerships that had the car I wanted. I first spoke with Amanda who is a sweetheart, I made an appointment and met with Frank. I told him exactly want I wanted and how much I could spend, I did research at home. I dealt with the finance guy and Frank they both were straight forward with me I did not want to do the dance. The other dealerships were just not being straight with me it was an awful game and I did not want to play. I found that the internet price was never the real price, but that's OK. I bought a Kia Soul and am very happy!

Our salesman was rude, offensive, condescending and pushy. I was offended when he talked to my husband like an idiot, gave us unwanted advice on our credit basically saying since we were not a 700 or higher we needed to lower our expectations, and during a supposedly unrelated story told us that young people have no respect and used to never interrupt their elders. I will never recommend this salesman, ever.however, when we finally got to talk to someome else who turned out to be the manager he was very friendly, accomadating and was one of the reasons we bought a 2013 soul. I also recieved wonderful customer service from the service department, the finance department and the parts department. These departments and the sales manager are the ONLY reason i did not leave.

First let me say, I honestly did have a great sales experience, and I was appreciative that my payments got lowered when I bought my car. This is the only reason I'm giving the dealership a two-star rating. However, everything since buying my car has been a disaster. For one thing, it took them more than a month to pay off my trade. I had to call numerous times to follow up and make sure that it was done, and I was constantly assured that it would be handled, and that my account would not be 30 days past due. That was not the case. I had to call that bank several times since and try to work with them. They will not work with me, and told me that they had to report it because they didn't receive payment before the 30 days had passed. If I had known that Folger Kia really would have failed in getting the payment to them, I would have sucked it up and just paid the extra month for a car I no longer owned. That's a mistake I will never make again. It's difficult to rebuild one's credit when things like this happen. Now let me touch on their customer service after the sale. Every time I called to speak to someone about this issue, after being told that the finance manager with whom I had been working up until about two weeks ago was no longer with the company, I was told that the person I'd need to talk to was either "not in the office that day" or not at her desk. I left several voicemails and none of them were returned. I was even laughed at once by the receptionist, when I was trying to find someone to help me with this problem. It was extremely rude and unprofessional. Then when my license plate FINALLY arrived last week I asked that it be mailed to me. I confirmed my address on the phone at the time, and now I find out today that it's been mailed to my OLD address. Now I have to take even more time out of my day to go there and get it because of another mistake that Folger Kia has made. I really feel like this whole experience since the sale has been a nightmare. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle here, and I'm a loyal Kia owner. Buyer beware!

My husband purchased a Kia Sorento in late December, my Mother-in-Law purchased a Sportage in March and I leased an Optima yesterday (turning in my VW lease three months early.) I must admit that the features available from Kia are above any vehicle I tested - cooling seats, lane monitoring, back up camera/ sensors and push button start were all on my "musts" list... Darol and Brian made them a realty at price that matched my existing lease payment. Thanks to Eric and Darol I picked up my new Optima and completed paperwork in under 45 minutes - a plus since my 8-yr-old son was in tow with me - they were very nice to him too, asking if he was my "agent." I would highly recommend test driving a Kia, I truly feel you get more amenities for your dollar than any other car on the road today.

In 2010 my wife bought a Kia Soul, after getting rid of her Honda Civic she had for 13 years. Her Soul is a black limited edition 5 speed, with heated leather interior, satellite radio, cd player, ipod mp3, blue tooth, power windows door locks sunroof mirrors, and 18 inch wheels. It's black with a dragon design on the hood and rear deck. Great gas mileage, fun to drive sharp car. We both love her car. I was on my 5th Volkswagen and was a die hard VW fan through 13 years. After having to put this one in the shop for a second major engine repair in less than a month, and over 117000 miles. I decided it was time to try something new. I went to Kia met George, who showed me a 2012 Kia Soul Exclaim they had taken in trade for a 2014 Soul. I liked the car a lot, but I told him I was gonna take a last look at VW just to make sure. I came back later on in that week, sat down with George and Daryl. 2 hours later I drove out with my own Kia Soul. Mine is a 2012 Kia Soul Exclaim. This car is loaded with everything. It came with two tone heated leather interior, satellite radio, cd player, ipod mp 3, satellite navigation, touch screen, push button start stop, blue tooth, back up camera, power windows door locks mirrors sunroof, and 18 inch wheels. I am absolutely crazy about this car. I didn't even test drive it, until I drove it home. Having driven my wife's car over the 3 years she' had hers, I knew it would be good. I can't say enough about the customer service they provided at Kia, everything I asked for they got me. They worked the deal until it was something I was completely comfortable with. Now we are a 2 Kia family, I recommend them to everyone I know. My friends are surprised to see the quality and features that I have in my Kia. I ordered a small part for my Kia Spectra. When I brought the car in to have it installed, Ralph from the service department assisted me. I informed him about the part, he found it in his system, and then indicated he was going to speak with one of the mechanics to get a price quote. I was in the customer lounge when he called me into the garage area. Both Ralph and the mechanic told me that for the $40 part I purchased, it would cost me between $200 and $300 to have it installed, and with no real value added to the car. They recommended I not go through with the installation and instead, refund my money for the part. Wow!! Imagine a car dealership being honest enough to tell a customer the truth; secondly, to save them money; thirdly, to allow a woman to speak with a mechanic (which I would prefer doing) and lastly to do it with respect and courtesy! The other Kia dealership I have been dealing with would have installed the part, and then socked me with a $250 bill, no questions asked, and never would have even considered letting me speak with one of their mechanics. I was so impressed, I told Ralph and the two wonderful ladies in the cashier's office that while it's less convenient for me to drive to Kia South, I was going to make it happen. Seneca has been incredible to work with and you can tell he definitely cares about his customers. On December 10,2012 my wife and I had the best car buying experience at Folger Kia South! Soon we exited our car Darol was the first person to greet us. He was genuine and on our side. We didn't feel pressured at all and he appreciated the fact that my wife did her research on the 2013 Kia Soul! We asked to speak to the manager and he also came out friendly as ever and willing to help us out in any way. We were already financed with a blank check in hand when we came in for a visit. Both Darol and the manager made sure we purchased the car at the exact price we wanted!! Prior to our visit we went to Folger Kia East! They were the typical dealership....the saleswoman was inexperienced, she did not know what to do with us because we did not need "their" financing. They tried to rob us on price but, we weren't budging because we knew exactly what we wanted to spend. East also tried to lower price by us NOT accepting the "free tv" they offered to customers purchasing a new car that month. Needless to say once we entered Kia South we were very frustrated but Darol made us feel a lot better and they were extremely fast and accurate....we were in and out with our brand new 2013 Soul in 45 minutes! I bought a new Kia Soul and it was a wonderful experience. This was a big decision for me and they were so good to me. I was treated with respect, friendliness, kindness, and not hurried in any way. Since i wasn't familiar with Kia I had lots of questions and Jay and Ralph were very patient with me. My wife and I set out to find us a new family car of some type. We originally set out to fnd a good used car. Well with no luck happen for bout 3 weeks my parents took the time to stop by Folger Kia South and talk with Mr. D.C Craig. They had prior experience with him since he sold my younger brother his Rio a few years back. My parents are pretty old fashion and don't believe in change when it works good the first time. So they took me and the wife up to Folger. D.C met us right away at the door and started out showing us what he had to offer from the Rio up. He first showed us a Soul. Nice car great price but just wasn't our size. He then asked what we have now which was a 2 door accord. He then showed us an Optima. Good car but my wife felt confined by the dash. I had nothing but bad experiances with a different kia dealership in kansas, called Kevin from Folger while i was still there, told him my plight and he was shocked with the horrible service they provided and guarenteed that it would be better when i got home and could come in to folger. i told him the deal i had and the specifics for the car i wanted. it was there when i went in the day i got back. filled out the paper work, had a few hiccups worked out with Jay that all went relatively smoothly considering everything. afterward had to talk with marcus about financing, that took a little while (you know banks!) but after all that was done i left same day with my new Kia Optima Ex! took four days in kansas with repeaded calls and them running us around (Bob hope kia is bad news) took one day with Kevin and the guys at Folger. had two little issues that we got fixed up after i had the keys, since then havent had any problems. ive got nothing but good words for them thus far and hope to keep it that way for the life of my car, and with that warrenty!

We called alot of daelerships and Folger Kiea stood out from the rest because of the luck of walking in and meeting Brian Purser right from the entrance door. He was very helpful from the get go. I wanted a Kia Soul but I wanted certain things and a certain color. Of course what I wanted was nowhere in site in the southeast region. I told Brian that he would be the salesperson that I would purchase from no matter what. Having had experience of all types with car salesmen including working with them over the years, Brian was a breath of fresh air. He listened to everything I asked about and said I wanted and from that point forward we moved on for the search of my vehicle. I wouldve waited for however long it took because I wanted to work with this young man. He is extremely kind and patient. From the beginning I believe the thing that made him different from anyone else that I had dealt with was that he was sincere and honest. He never made a comment that I didnt appreciate. We purchased a 2012 Kia Soul from Kia South last weekend. Our salesman was Brian Purser. He was friendly and not to pushy. We made the purchase on the second visit to the dealership. On the first visit I made it clear I was just looking and wasn't going to walk out of the dealership with a new car. He didn't push the matter too much like some salesmen which I thought was nice. When determining a final sales price Brian showed me the dealer invoice with the dealer price for the car and the dealer price for all options. His figures matched mine. The average consumer can get these figures off the internet and dealers know it. They're still going to try to make extra money with undercoating and finish protection but this has been the case for years. During the finance part of the purchace they're going to show you all the extended warranty plans and blah blah blah. Do yourself a favor and think about this before going to the dealership because this will add a significant amount to the purchase price and take more time hagling over the cost. I rated the overall experience good instead of great only because it took over 4 hours to complete the transaction (including test drive). I did a lot of homework on the vehicle and compared best prices from several dealers, both local and non-local. Ricardo worked very hard to get me the best price for the car I wanted, while offering other solutions all along the way. When he knew I was only interested in one specific trim/package combo...he made it happen well within my budget. He had a great price compared to others,and he was extremely enjoyable throughout the process, very friendly and knowledeable.6 weeks later, I decided I needed a larger vehicle for my growing family's needs - I was thinking of trading in the Optima after just 6 weeks! Absurd...I know. Even though my credit isn't the best in the world, Brian treated me like you would treat someone who had $50,000 in their pocket and could pay cash for any car on the lot. I have shopped many dealers and I have come to dread car shopping. I would rather have dental surgery without anesthesia than go car shopping or take my car to a dealership to be fixed. But after my experience with Jerry and Folger Kia that has changed. My wife bought her first car ever and though being nervous and unsure we were treated with respect and empathy. At one point, Jerry said to my wife "I know this is a big decision. Please take sometime to think about it and we can talk it over tomorrow. " At that point I was sold. I am giving the rating because I want to thank Folger for taking care of my problemin such a professional and caring way. I had a power steering pump to go out andI was a good ways from South Boulevard. I made it and when I got there if I hadturned the wheel or whatever the pulley that held the belt for the power steeringwould have come off. They said they had never seen anything like that before. Long story short I got there around 3:l5. The accessed the problem, talked to Kevinabout a loaner and I was on my way by 3:45. They always care and treat like a queen.I got my car back the next day. They also got me a rebuilt pump that save me a lotof money. I am a young senior citizen but still need all the help I can get. The overall experience was excelent. My dealer Mr. Wilson Gilbert was very understanding and receptive to what I wanted. He allowed me to explain my budget and what i was looking for. Once he understood he did not try to change my mind or sell me another car. He acctually tried to give me the best deal I could get. As for the finance team i can say nothing less. What a wonderful experience it has been for my husband and I to work with this dealership!! Adam (sales person) was fantastic! I initially called the dealership to speak with someone just to ask questions about the new Optima and general information regarding leasing a vehicle. Adam was the person that I spoke with during my phone call. He was so friendly, patient and courteous. He was knowledgeable and was patient with me while I asked him several questions. From that first moment, I knew that we were going to have a great experience with this dealership. Adam gave me his cell phone number (very personable) and asked me to call him back once I talked with my husband to set up a time to come and look at the Optima. We were running late to our appointment and when I called Adam to let him know, he was still pleasant and friendly. When we arrived, he showed us exactly what we wanted to look at. Everyone at the dealership were very nice and courteous. We decided to go with the Optima AND the Kia Soul. We love both cars and were educated on all of their features. HOWEVER, I ASKED TO SPLIT THE DESTINATION THEY SAID NO, I ASKED TO SPLIT THE DOC FEES THEY SAID NO, I ASKED LIKE SOME OTHER DEALERS WERE OFFERING TO GIVE ME A LIFE TIME WARRANTY ON THE TRANSMISSION THEY SAID NO AGAIN AND FINALLY I AKED THEM TO GIVE ME A 5 YEAR WARRANTY ON THE ACCESSORY PARTS INSTEAD OF THE 3 YRS AND THEY SAID NO AGAIN. My car buying experience at Folger Kia South left me speechless!! I went in hoping to come away with a plan in place to buy/lease a used vehicle within the next couple of weeks (all that I thought I could afford I had nothing to trade in since my car was totaled in an accident the week before). Jackson Goodwin was friendly, patient, honest and understanding he showed me some used vehicles like I requested and also showed me some new vehicles and let me know that there were some programs available which might allow me to purchase a new vehicle instead of leasing/or purchasing a used one. He and Marcus Payne were able to work it out and I left that evening with a new 2010 Kia Optima (fully loaded) with payments only a couple of dollars a month more than what I was previously paying. Jackson has contacted me since my purchase to make sure everything is o.k. and from beginning to end has been quick to respond to any questions I might have. And words cant express how grateful I am to Marcus for working his magic and negotiating an interest rate for me lower than I ever could have imagined!
