At Burdick Chevy, I always am taken very good care of, the staff is always AWESOME, and Burdick Chevy is my dealership of choice. I go there for service because I need a solution to a problem, and I always walk out feeling great because it's always a pleasant surprise how easy everything is and a load is always taken off my mind.

I drove in with an electrical issue that had prevented getting my car inspected. They fixed it quickly, gave me an inspection, and only charged me for the 20 minutes it took to fix the problem (plus the cost of the inspection, of course). Great people, who definitely know what they're doing, and do it well. Next time I have an issue, I know exactly who I'm taking it to.

Tried to get a 2017 Lincoln MKZ. While test driving, the finance manager put together the worst deal you can offer and went home. Probably because it was a Saturday. I could not change anything and they were offering me a low trade in for my car. I said I will think about it and maybe come back. Went to another Lincoln dealer and got what I wanted and bought the new car. Customer service goes a long way.

Thank You.

I have heard and read bad things about drivers village so I was reluctant to go there. I must say that the Chevy /GMC people were awesome. They helped me get a new car and get out of two other car loans I had from a bad divorce. I had a great experience with them. Just want to say thank you to Erin and Adam for being cool. I will be back for sure and will send people your way. Thank You

I wanted to take the time to share my experience. I originally had an appointment with a sales manager to test drive a used Jeep Compass, who ended up leaving early for the day before my arrival. I was disappointed at first and wasn't sure how this would really turn out. I was handed off to Jesse Scheider. Jesse is very pleasant and answered most of my question during the test drive. I had done my research on the car and was very interested in it. In comes sales manager Steve Wisiniewski t work the deal. The monthly payment was coming too high for me. I explained where I really needed to be and the most that I could afford in budget. Steve really listened to me and worked to make that happen! Tome, he went above and beyond with outstanding customer service. He even found the color I was looking for! Jesse is new, but Steve was the driving force and closed the sale. He is truly an asset for your dealership, and I will highly recommend him to anyone looking for a car. I can not thank him enough - I truly appreciate all he has done for me! Ps... I absolutely LOVE my new car.

From start to finish a great experience! I recently had hit a deer and was in need of a new vehiclemail fast. I was so upset to lose my VUE but the sales associate, Dustin, was amazing in finding me a new car. Originally I wanted an SUV since that's what I had, but he took the time, almost all day, to make sure I had exactly what I really wanted and needed. From talking with him I knew reliability and best bang for my buck was what I really needed. Dustin couldn't have been more patient and understanding of my indecisiveness. Such a better experience than I could have hoped for!

I had a great car buying experience at Drivers Village KIA, no pressure that is why I shop here. I made an appointment on-line and Lori Sears was there to great me when I got there and was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the KIA Optima that I was purchasing. We took a test drive and I decided to purchase the car. When I picked up the car, everything went smoothly with Lori and signing the paperwork with Debbie, I was out of there in an hour.

Terrible service

A while back I wrote a review about this place so I don't even know if I can do another. I will say this one is just as important as the last. Ok, so I bought a 2013 F-150 from this place and if you want to read the whole story please look at my other review ("Terrible service, good selection of vehicles"). Long story short, I bought this truck with only 25K miles on it. Dealer didn't fix the brakes like they said they would when I test drove it but ended up paying for SOME of the work for me to have them fixed at a shop near me (I'm about an hour and a half away - should not have been inconvenienced as it is but these guys must think I have all the free time in the world). ANYWAYS, I see numerous complaints on this website only for them to be followed up by "Ken" saying that he wants to make it right and to give them a call. I gave him a call and told him some other problems that my truck was having and that I cannot get a hold of the sales manager for anything! He said he would contact the guy and call me back. He called back and left a message (go figure, I was busy). Since then, I've made SEVERAL calls back leaving messages to this guy and have heard nothing back...again! SO, anyone on here reading these reviews complaining about the terrible service, don't be fooled by all of Ken's replies saying he wants to make it right because it hasn't happened with me yet. I would be curious to know how many others that he replied to that they actually have made things right.

Horrible collision center experience!!

About a year and a half ago I bought a car through Nissan. I had a good buying experience and as a three time rogue buyer got a good deal. However I have had so many problems with my rogue and the service center is less than helpful. They always have some kind of answer of why things aren't their fault. Horrible customer service. So a year and a half in, I have already had to have a barring changed and at that time had problems with my car stuttering when trying to accelerate. The only way to have it checked was to pay 100$ if they didn't find a problem and or the decided it wasn't covered. So we decided to wait as it is an intermittent problem and I wasn't paying 100$ for them to tell me nothing is wrong. So fast forward a few weeks and now my car will not shift and had to be towed. They offered two days of rental coverage but won't be able to even run the diagnostics for atleast two days. And apparently cause it is the weekend they are unable to offer any information on what to do after the two days for the rental car payment. This has been a horrible experience and I am definitely looking into another dealership and brand of car. I hope this helps save someone else trouble in the future.

Widest selection of used cars in Syracuse NY area, but left with a bad experience. We agreed on a price on a vehicle and I asked them how soon they could repair the brakes. They said as is. I reminded them that they promised to make all major repairs. They said the brakes meet inspection. I noted that according to my mechanic they just barely meet and that they grind so loudly people look when you come to a stop. They said sorry, and I did too, and walked away from the deal. Rather spoiled what was otherwise a pleasant experience.

My sales rep at the Used Warehouse was Jim Gunn. He was the best. He was very knowledgeable with no pressure. He answered my questions and helped me get into the right car at the right price. I really like his style. He has great customer service and did everything for me even though he knew my plan was not to purchase that day. When I was ready to move forward with the sale he assisted me, above and beyond. Thank you Jim for making my used car sales purchase feel great. Thank you!

Well...I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this and I'm sure leaving a review will do nothing other than temporarily relieve my dissatisfaction with this place. I will start by saying that if you can't find a car here there's something wrong. The vehicle and brand selection is probably one of the best in the state. BUT that's where it all ends! The sales guy I dealt with was very friendly and very helpful. I was looking at a used vehicle and on the test drive I told him that something was wrong with the brakes and if I decided to buy those would need to be fixed. Well after haggling a bit in the showroom after the test drive I decided to buy. Sales guy turned VERY pushy on an extended warranty...almost to the point where I was going to leave and forget the whole thing. It was discussed and written on the paperwork that new tires would be put on and the brakes would be fixed. I live about an hour and a half away so it took me almost two weeks to find a day that I could get back to pick up the vehicle. My original sales guy was off that day and his replacement was just as friendly and helpful. I signed all the papers and was back on the highway. Oh and I looked and sure enough, there were new tires on it! Cool! Well after making a few stops (remember, I'm on the highway now and far away from the dealership at this point) I noticed that absolutely NOTHING was done with the brakes. A couple attempts to email the dealer within the week after I bought it and they finally got back to me. They admitted it was their fault and said I could take it to a shop near me for the work. THEN they only paid for about 80% of the work! Not long after that the wipers started going on for no apparent reason. Maybe I was wrong in diagnosing the problem myself but I also did not want to waste at least 4 hours of a day driving there, having them look for a problem, hope they have the part, fix it and drive back. Instead I ordered the part online and fixed it myself. Do you think they would compensate me for just the part like I asked (not my time to look for the problem or my time to fix it)? Of course not! In fact I can't even get a hold of the sales manager and I haven't heard "boo" from my original sales guy since the day I test drove the vehicle! Now the transmission is acting up and the AC doesn't work well at all either! Anyways, I'm sure Roger Burdick (or whoever the owner is) could care less about one complaining customer. Like I said, the place is absolutely huge so I'm sure they are selling tons of cars. Maybe I can save a few folks from wasting their time with this place.

Our recent visit to Drivers Village for a new car turned out to be a very pleasant experience. We looked at many makes & models due to the fact that my wife is very short and it's hard to find a vehicle that is comfortable for both of us and one that she can also drive with ease. We ended up purchasing a new Mazda CX5 and one of the things that impressed us the most was the salesperson that worked with us. Her name is Lorrie Anderson and we felt that she was one of the most professional sales people we had ever dealt with. She was very knowledgeable about her product and explained every feature in detail answering any question I asked. This helped us immensely in our decision to buy that particular model. We would like to thank her & Burdick Mazda for making our car shopping experience a pleasant one.

after you buy a car with a warranty, anything that goes wrong with the car seems to not be covered. 2 years and I'm supposed to pay over 2k in repairs. in 2 years, you shouldn't have to replace a heater case (1600) and have the crew tell you "to bad, your warranty doesn't cover that". I recommend going elsewhere

The service staff is great - very friendly and helpful. My service and repairs are always done well and efficiently. The most important reason I keep coming to Burdick Lincoln for service is that I trust them. I have been to other service centers with one problem, and come out with another problem. I trust the service team at Lincoln not to cheat me.

Its been a yr and nothing! I know the value is lowered on the warranty the longer you have it I feel like its a sick game I've called all week all yr all I get is voicemails and no call backs!! I'm beyond frustrated and will never get another vehicle there again. Seems they really only care about sales after that your not important enough to deal with.

So my buying experience was pleasent. It wasn't till 2 weeks later that I found out why. I have been leasing vehicles for 20 years with another large dealer in the area and have never got a bill for damages or over milage on the car i traded in.They always took care of it and handled it. My mistake was assuming this dealership would do the same. Through my whole negotiation period on this vehicle no one looked or asked any questions about the car I was handing in.Before the deal was signed they asked my milage and i told them. Two days later when i picked up the vehicle, the salesman seemed nervous and in a hurry to get me out the door, which I didnt mind at the time. So 2 weeks later iI recieved a bill from Nissan for $1,100. in mileage over. I believe Knowing the milage overage would not get me in the price range I required to be, the questions were never asked during the negotiation. I have since contacted the sales manager and was told it was my fault and should have been aware. My wife has leased with the Toyota dealership for her last 3 vehicles and I had leased once before with thier Hyundia dealership.I'm still waiting to hear back from customer service. We may be taking our business back to the other large dealership in the area..

Over the last five years I have bought three vehicles and serviced them and actually others. Here's my major complaint - in a world now where customer service is everything, customers expect to be nurtured. I have called and left phone messages over these 5 years 21 times, and only three of those 21 times has my phone call been returned. Not only is it frustrating to try to talk live to a person but you never hear back either when you leave a message! The last two cars now I've bought I've made a point to not even consider DV. I have a Jeep Cherokee transmission and sunroof problem currently (neither problem has been satisfied by anyone) and decided to query DV on a solution - left message and haven't heard back!

Here we are, seven weeks after I made an initial request for warranty repair, the bad taillight has been replaced by Drivers Village Dodge. When I arrived, the service writer says "this shouldn't take long". How insensitive can you get? I'd say, seven weeks, three trips at 62 miles each trip is far from "it shouldn't take long." Not once, did the service manager ever return my calls, or help in any way.

I purchased two vehicles from Burdick Dodge in 2015, dropping a lot of money. I purchased a 2015 Dodge Journey Crossover, and a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. I also purchased the Advantage Plan. Huge mistake, their pitch that no appointment needed is a farse. I have been turned away twice for oil changes, service writer stating minimum two hour wait on one occasion, and no time that day on another. Routine warranty work requires minimum of two week wait for appointments. Recently had Journey in for warranty repairs, after a a two week wait, only to be told no parts available. When parts came in, told another two week wait for an appointment. Brought car in on scheduled date, only to have technician install wrong parts. Had to wait another 7 days for parts, and told, you guessed it, two weeks to install. Ridiculous. Called service manager twice, left message, no return call. Ordered part from parts department for the Jeep, and made appointment for install. Told by parts department my part arrived. Brought car in at scheduled time, only to be told parts department has no record of my parts order. Asked to speak to service manager, told he was not available. Asked to have him call me, still waiting. I have purchased several vehicle from this dealer. I seriously doubt I will ever buy another. I'm recommending to everyone I talk to, to stay away, because of irresponsible service and parts department, and non responsive service management.

Great vehicle and excellent customer service!!! In the past we always bought small cars, but we were looking at getting a more dog friendly vehicle. Before going on our vacation, we had test drove a couple of used RAV4s. We went to Drivers Village to get a better feel of which SUV would best suit our needs. We were greeted at the door and invited to look around. It was nice to be able to look around without a salesperson hovering over us. When we were ready to ask questions Dustin was very helpful. We ended up getting a 2012 RAV4 (excellent condition/ great price). We were leaving the next day to go back to Virginia; they went thru hoops to make sure I drove away with that vehicle. It took most of the day for Allstate to get the proper documents to the dealership. One of the ladies in the office made me feel right at home and kept checking on me. I really wasnt sure what was involved in purchasing a vehicle in another state. The dealership took care of everything and when the plates were ready sent them next day mail. My husband is ready to go on another vacation and wants to get his own SUV

Mary E. on 07/25/2015

I was very specific about what my problem was when calling to set up my appointment at the Driver's Village Burdick Mitsubishi service center--my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse car alarm was going off sporadically which was causing problems. I was scheduled to come in at 1:30PM on Saturday but they called back to say that that wouldn't give them enough time to diagnose the problem so they rescheduled me for 8:00AM. I dropped off the vehicle, and let them know that I had taken out the fuse for the horn the day before as a temporary fix and handed him the fuse. The man helping me said that they would give me a call in "no more than a couple of hours" with the diagnosis. Three and a half hours later I still had not received a call, so I called Burdick Mitsubishi, asking for the status of the diagnosis. The gentleman that I spoke with said that the person working on my car was "tied up" and that he would personally go and check on the status of my car diagnosis and "would give me a call back in five minutes." 30 minutes later after still receiving no phone call, I called Burdick Mitsubishi again, this time speaking to a woman. I explained my situation yet again and she said she would find out who was assigned to my car and would call me back regardless of what she found out. By that time I was walking back over to speak with someone in person. When I got there, I was told that they had looked at my car and couldn't see anything wrong with it. They were then waiting around for the car alarm to go off while it was there, they said, because otherwise they just had no way of knowing why it was going off. They offered no explanation for why they failed to call me after they had found "nothing wrong." The report they wrote up said, "Vehicle was not duplicating said concern. Found IOD fuse popped up which could cause issue [although I had told them upon arrival that I had taken the horn fuse out--and physically handed the horn fuse to the man helping me], pushed down fuse." I asked why I had not been told when I called to make the appointment and had explained my issue that the car would have to be "duplicating said concern" while it was in the shop--I then never would have made the 1 hour 15 minute drive to come there. I was given a flimsy excuse of, "the call center people don't really know." I then asked why I was not called at, say 9:00AM and told that they hadn't found anything, or why I was not called at all, in fact. Burdick Mitsubishi did nothing to try to figure out the problem, and offered no solution whatsoever. They took up 5 hours of my time and I drove away with absolutely nothing solved.

The salespeople and especially the management were difficult and very frustrating to deal with. That said, the facilities are nice and the warranty work I've had done was done quickly and usually correctly. Ok place to get work done, terrible place to buy a car.

I woudln't recommend using the Driver's Village Vehicle Excahnge Center to my worst enemy. Driver's Village purchased my 2012 Jeep Liberty on April 24, 2015. The lien holder's requirements were satisfied on April 29, 2015. 43 days later (June 11, 2015), I still have yet to receive a check from Driver's Village covering the difference between the purchase price and the value of the lien. Being that my ownership of the 2012 Jeep Liberety ended 48 days ago, I reccomend that one thinks twice before using this aspect of the dealership. I would have been better of using another dealership or having sold the vehicle on my own. I simply want what was promised in the documents i signed on April 24, 2015.

Wish I'd checked before buying. This time I wanted to see if a leopard had changed it's spots. Less than 50% positive - I guess not. We bought three preowned vehicles from this dealership six years ago. Only one of the vehicles was worth it. The other two began having trouble right away. To give an example - one of the features that was a decision maker for us was that the seats were heated in the vehicle that was to be mine. Um.....not seats apparently - but seat....passenger side. When brought to the dealer's attention - oh, well, not covered under the warranty......we had brought the vehicle in because it was chugging a lot....they did us a "favor" and cleaned the fuel injecters.....two months later the catalytic converter - which was the real problem - fried the computer. OH, and also - the thermostat needed to be replaced - not noticed until defroster was used but ---- they wouldn't do it. That was just the beginning. Four months later we had to replace the transmission on the second car. Both of these vehicles were "certified" preowned - be careful of what you think that means. We came to the conclusion that buying from these people is a crap shoot. CHECK EVERYTHING yourself if you decide to take the chance. Since it would seem that things haven't changed - we will not be purchasing from them this year - or again. Yes they are a large dealership and problems to arise - but from first=hand experience - the service is sketchy and you take your chances.

I went hoping to be able to finance my first car. I got with a sales person who checked my credit said I would need a cosigner so set that up he said it would be a while so we left 5 hours or so later he calls to say that they would not be able to help me with my cosigner. So I tried another still was told no. Asked what I could get and was told that I would not be able to get anything with out a cosigner with a 700+ credit score. How is anyone at 19 years old with a 0 for a credit score supposed to build credit if the dealership is not willing to work with you? I was basically laughed at. And felt he was not even interested in selling me a car. I will be going elsewhere. and would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Your Nissan Service people Mike , needs to know how to talk to a customer and not make the customer feel stupid. I brought my truck in to Nissan a 2013 Frontier cause it was not turning off and if it did the lights would stay on. I brought it in on Thursday January 8th, Zach, said there was no way my truck could be seen they were too busy so I set up for Monday at 10am, plus have a car for me to use. The car I got from Hurtz, the brakes were bad and had bald tires I took the car back to them only had it for a couple of hours.( I refused another car after that first experiance) Was told the tech wanted to let my truck sit till it got cold..So the shuttle took me home. Next day tech said he could not find nothing wrong with my Frontier, so I told Mike, I want my truck back he gave me a song and dance that it was all apart and Cody, who is working on it has a few other cars to work on too. OK my truck has been there sense the day before they cannot find nothing wrong with it then give me back my truck I told Mike, I need my truck back .. WHY does this have to be so difficult even coming for an oil change takes ALL DAY LONG!! Service there is beyond terrible slow is NOT the word for this and customers get treated like we know nothing..I will go else where for my Frontiers needs.

Driver's Village would not honor my new car warranty...because I did not purchase the vehicle there! My new car warranty should be honored at any dealership in the USA! BEWARE of this dealership before dealing with them. I had to pay for a service that is warranty covered!

First, we saw an internet ad that claims that you can get $400 off a new car purchase or lease (should you buy one). But, in order to do this, you have to make an appointment to see a sales person (which is quite silly and unprofessional). So, we make an appointment to see a specific person in a specific dealership on a Saturday morning. I see my name on their white board as having an appointment, yet once we got there, we stood around and waited until we were ready to leave. The person wasn't available and my "appointment" really didn't seem to be worth much. One of the managers was helpful, and assigned us to another customer service rep, after we had already wasted a bunch of time. The salesperson was nice, but we didn't want to buy from that dealer, we wanted another brand, and they didn't really know much about the other dealer we were interested in. It is very difficult to get help, and very difficult to get straight answers. My wife and I have outstanding credit and a nice cash down payment, and were ready to buy or lease, but the process here is just ridiculous. I can't imagine how much business they lose based on this very disorganized chaos. I would imagine that they could double their sales if they could somehow get organized. I don't think I would ever shop here again, unless I had huge chunks of free time that I wanted to waste. It really seems like whoever is in charge of this gigantic auto mall really has no clue how to run this. We went to another dealer, were helped IMMEDIATELY, got the price we wanted and within 1 1/2 hours total we had the deal we wanted on a NEW car. And that was WITHOUT an appointment.

I went on line for a specific vehicle they had advertised without pictures. One of their guys called me right away and said the car was newly received and needed to be cleaned up before photos ( which was understandable), but he'd let me know when pictures were available . I told him I lived nearly 70 miles away so I needed to see pictures before driving all that way to see the car, but I was VERY interested in it. He sais no problem, he'd follow up. That was 10 days ago. No follow up and still no pictures posted. Makes me wonder why anyone would buy a car from these guys?

Ok, I have seen a lot of negative reviews about people buying experience and for those who had a negative experience must not have had Brian Grant as their salesman. I take Car buying very seriously, I had a list of vehicles that I wanted to test drive with info about them, stock #'s and Vin #'s All typed up. I started my shopping on Saturday and just bought today (Wednesday). I went to several places including fucillo's on route 31 in clay, Sun Chevy, Fucillo's in Adams and FX Caprera's in Pulaski. I Spent over 7 hours (from 1pm until a little after 8pm) With Brian looking for the perfect vehicle. I started out at the used warehouse where I met Brian and I intended on buying a low mileage Small Car that gets over 30 MPG HWY. I ended up buying a BRAND NEW midsize Sedan that gets 31 MPG HWY and drove much Smoother and nicer and had much more space than any of the dozens of Small cars I test drove over the past 5 days and he led me to that vehicle because of the MPG that I was looking for and the Price of around $20,000. I received $4000 in rebates and incentives with this car otherwise I would not have even looked at it. I went in with my top choice being a Small car with 29,000 miles on it priced at $18,990 and left with a BRAND NEW midsize car with 17 miles on it for $19,489 So, I am Very PLEASED with this purchase. What really made this experience great was Brian though, He was Very patient with me (I am a pain when it comes to making a big purchase), He was Extremely friendly, He listed to what I said I wanted and needed in a vehicle and he found them. He showed a Genuine interest in getting me in the vehicle I wanted rather than trying to push me into a vehicle, there was no pressure with him, it seemed more like I was car shopping with a friend than a Car Salesman. I can not picture Brian taking advantage of anyone. So for ANYONE & EVERYONE who had a bad shopping experience at Drivers Village, or anyone who just wants to have a pleasant one, I would strongly recommend that you ask for Brian Grant., YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

saftey recall run around

Customer Service: 1.0 Buying Process: 2.0

contact by email on burdicks service dept online appt system. 8/6/14-- regarding recalls/ issues with 2012 cruze (car stalling/ wipers stalling while using) & to request a loaner due to the recall being from prior to purchasing the car in 2013 , other issues (stalling) and having 3 places to be before 8 am. I explained that the shuttle service would not do me any good. 8/6/14- received email from Elizabeth- she would check with service manager about a loaner & was trying to confirm the drop off date from my email. She also stated that recalls could not be repaired on the weekend and would have to be done during the week. She also had what was probably pre written language about the shuttle service in the email as well at the end. 8/6/14- emailed Elizabeth right back and told her again to let me know about the loaner for 8/14 since recalls are only done during the week. 8/6-8/10- no response from anyone. 8/10/14- Finally received email at 11:20 pm from a Joe Albert. He states he emailed me prior and if I had any questions or concerns to let him know and that he is here to assist in any way. Then went on to talk about maybe getting another car that was less expensive or more features. Not sure why he was trying to sell me a car when I contacted the service dept. to do repairs on recalls. None the less I thought I had the service manager as stated in ELizabeths email that she would ask them. So I thought I was in good hands, he did write he was here to assist in any way. SO IM thinking great! 8/11/14- emailed Joe back- told him I did not receive the email, that I need to know what it said, if he could resend it (never received it after asking for it) and the status of a loaner. I also told him I did not plan on getting a new car unless they excepted a no down payment and the same monthly payments, after all my contact email was to the service dept. to have my recalls fixed on the 2012 Cruze.I told him to get back to me on the loaner as 8/14 was the date I was asking for etc. 8/11/14- did not hear from Joe from my morning email- so called the dealership around 3pm. Asked for Joe, and was sent right to him. I thought great! Spoke with Joe told him I did not get his prior email. He said, oh someone should have called you back its all set-- he mentioned Anthony's name. And that Anthony or the service dept should have told me I was all set. I told him no one has gotten back to me at all other then Elizabeths first email on 8/6. He said ok ill go down there and talk to them to fix this out and that someone should have called me. That elizabeth was second in command etc..and this should have been taken care of and his was sorry. SO again, im like GREAT- Joe sounded nice and that he had it all set..WRONG! 8/11/14- same day- I get a phone call from Elizabeth at 3:48 on my cell phone. She leaves a message to call her at 315-233-0333. In the msg she only states she has the service appt started in the system and to call her- no reference to the loaner that Joe just mentioned. I call the # at 3:54 pm and ask for Elizabeth to only be told there is no Elizabeth there. I said I just got a call from her and email there is an Elizabeth. They wanted to know her last name, but she didnt leave her last name on phone or email. So i said she is in service- she is working on getting me a loaner for a recall. They didnt believe me that I talked to a Elizabeth. So I am transfered . gentleman picks up the phone- I said I am looking for an Elizabeth- his response there is no Elizabeth here I am the only one in service. I said she is working on my recall appt. and a loaner. He said I can help. Again, ok great! So I tell him the whole story. (about Joe Albert, Elizabeth the emails the phone calls from not even an hour ago) He then tells me that there is no loaner (contradicts what Joe said as it being all set) and then tells me he will take care of my appt. I told him no, I was dealing with Joe and Elizabeth whic

Got my car in for repair. Told the kid at the service desk all 3 problems I had. While kid is writing I'm talking with the mechanic on duty so I don't see what the kid is writing. Sign the paperwork and go on my way. 5 hours later get a call from dealer saying the car is ready. Get there only to find out 1 issue had been taking care of and told the guy what happen to the other 2 issues? Answer: Well you sign the paperwork which only described 1 issue. The kid did not write the other 2 issues and I was now accuse of not reading the paperwork! Called back the service dep. next day and had to quit after 4 failed attempts to talk to them about the other issues. Decided to go somewhere else for service.

July 2, 2014 By Dena, Sherrill NY I see there is a number of unhappy customers may I add to the list!! I purchased a 2012 GMC Acadia from Drivers Village in Syracuse NY brand new. In late March of 2014 the Rear Main Seal went and there was a meeting of GMC Reps on whether to replace the motor or just the end seal. The seal was replaced On June 13, 2014, I noticed oil on the ground under my car again. My husband got under the car and saw that the seal area is leaking in the same area as before. He called the service department at Drivers Village and dropped the car off on 6/17/14. A week later they called to say they are ordering and replacing a motor. I have not received any other information. My husband called on July 1, 2014, three times and left messages for someone to return his call. He has not received a call back. My wife called Burdick GMC this morning and they were going to contact someone to return our call. It is after noon and no one has returned our call. My husband and I have lost time and wages from work by having to go to the dealership. With the cost of fuel being what it is, not to mention the stress of having a repair done and the problem return a short time later and again my family cant count on the car. You would think that someone would have the common courtesy to keep us posted. As it stands right now, I would never want to buy another vehicle nor at this time recommend this dealership to anyone.

I would never buy a vehicle here again. Nor would i recommend it to anyone. Although I like my vehicle and the sale was pleasant everything after is nothing but a headache and always frustrating. We own a few makes and models and each service department is always a nightmare to deal with. One of my vehicles came with a two year maintenance program but when i try to get the oil changed under that agreement its always make an appointment (more than a week out) and i have to leave it. I remember when the Burdick companies meant quality deals - now Drivers Village means you would be better off going else where

When I first came to drivers I was excited about the car I found, then after I purchased the car I noticed someone took the symbol off the back and they said they will order a new one that was two weeks ago. Then the ac was making noise when you turn it on and they aint fix that yet and thats been a week I only had the car for two weeks. I feel like they give you the run around about everything and im very dissatisfied with their business.. I will never purchase another car from them and will not recommend them either.

They are human beings, so treat them how you want to be treated. I always receive a hello from my salesperson ( now manager ). They have never treated me poorly in service. My husband and I had a great experience at Drivers Village today, bought a used Audi with a trade-in. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about these folks - the whole process from start to finish was professional, honest, no games, no hidden anything. There's lot of ways to make the process easier and we took advantage of them all and it paid off nicely. Thank you for a great job!

I have purchased 3 Cars over $100,000 worth from Drivers Vill;age, and all 3 have had issues right from the start, and nothing but nightmares and mockery from their service departments. The first time, the tires were bad and needed replacing because the car sat to long. Second time, New car locked up in my drive way the first day I had it, had to be towed. Third time, New Car, once again bad tires and yet this time a bad rim which took them three different times to fix, and at no time did they bother to clean nor do what they kept telling me they where going to do to make things right, which they haven't. Do not buy a car from Drivers Village, they are the most disorganized and buck passing group of sales pitchers I have ever ran into. Being a business owner, I am able to see from two different perspectives. And yet I am mind boggled by the mass amount of run around one gets when buying a car from DV.

I live in Albany NY. Drivers Village had a Subaru i really liked and i was very interested in it. I was looking around for about 3 weeks, driving to NYC, NJ and Mass but was having a hard time getting financed because my credit was not the greatest, but i was looking to get a newer car with a few miles on it at a good percent rate. I did the credit application online and someone called me the next day saying i was approved. I came in the week later, remind you i had to drive 2 hours out of my way to the dealership. The place was huge and was a little difficult to find the right building i was looking for. I was introduced to Mike Poppe and he helped me through everything. I told him what i had down for a payment and what i didn't want to go over for monthly payment. Mike was great throughout the whole process. I got the car a few days later and drove home happy. I even had an extended warranty (after doing some hw) added on the car for a fare price. the only thing i would say that disappointed me was the service department. a few spots on the car should have been cleaned since i was just buying a roughly new car. overall my experience was great and definitely plane on dealing with Mike in the future. If your looking for a place that you are looking to get financed and your young just out of college with a job, i would recommend these guys.

I drove over 100 miles to turn in a lease and to purchase another vehicle, thought is was convienient because the different makes and models at this location to do it all in one stop shop. This was on a Saturday morning, arrived at 9:30 never left until 3 pm. however to find out that I had to return on Monday as they would not let me leave the dealership with the new vehicle and my own plates. They put dealer plates on my car because they said they could not get a hold of my insurance company and it was not legal to put my plates on the car. The majority of people buy vehicles on weekends and do not have tor return on Monday to return dealer plates. This is obsurb. I called my insurance company on Monday morning and they too have never heard of such a thing. They were going to call the dealership themselves. Not good business practice from the dealership. I new more about the vehicles through research than the salesman did themselves. So needless to say another trip back and another quarter of a tank of gas.

I proposed a price for a new car after extensive research to four different dealers. Driver's Village was the first to reach out in a non-automated manner and engage in discussions prior to my deciding on whether or not to even enter into the dealership. They were attentive and responsive, not wasting my time and respecting me as a buyer. While I believe there were a few "nickle and dimes" at the closing (i.e. fee to obtain license & registration) and a limit on the usage of my credit card for a down-payment ($2,000 limit), they went right to a fair price and we ended up arriving at a deal before other dealers even got around to noticing my initial contact. I liked my sales person (Joe D), and appreciated his approach. I'd recommend purchasing a car, but also that buyers do their research in advance.

my gym is next to drivers village so i went there to buy my new truck. it was convenant. bought my truck new the gas pedle i thought was very touchy, and thought i would get use to it.and realizede it wasnt that at all. the truck when putting on and off the gas there are noises under the truck. geers making noise. asked them to look at it when i was in for a oil change. and with out looking at it, they said it was the transmission and it was normal. still thinking it isnt normal i want back and asked if they could look at it. i know i needed a appointment i stopped in to make one. and a guy walked up and was taking to the guy that was helping me and he mentioned there was nothing to do. so i said i have time and can wait if you have time now. and was told it would take 2 or 3 hours to look at it. so i said i would like to make a appointment. so i made the appointment fri 8 oclock am. got there friday 8 ocock and for them to look at my truck. i was told it would take 2 or 3 hours to look at my truck. i had to ask somebody in the sales department to help me and nobody will look at my truck and i made a appointment. and took my truck on a test drive. and said it was fine. the noises it makes dosnt do it all the time. and and asked if they can put it up on the lift to look at it. check out to see if there isnt something lose. and again i was told it would take 2 or 3 hours. to do that. i dont know what was the point of making a appointment when they wont give you a loner or look at your vehicle.

I was really concerned visiting Drivers Village as I had a negative experience back in 2005; however, this was a much more positive visit. Aaron Kordek, my sales representative was excellent, he listened to what I had to say and I was extremely pleased. One complaint I have about all dealerships is that they don't give you the bottom line right up front. You have to negotiate a deal and, although I know this is a long time practice and an effective one, I prefer to just get down to business and to have them tell me how much my trade-in vehicle is worth and at what price they will sell me the new vehicle.
