Picked up my new Alfa Romeo 4C on Monday, November 14 after closing the deal with Matthew Sherman over the phone on Saturday, November 12. Matthew was spectacular to deal with and made both the sales and delivery experiences easy and smooth. Oh, and this car is SWEET! What a fun drive home to Vestal, NY. Too bad the car is away for the winter already. Can't wait until next spring!

For several years we have owned mostly domestic vehicles. In August my wife stopped in at Dorschels and test drove a Murano. She was hooked immediately. I have been fascinated by "0" emission vehicles for several years and I went to Dorschel's to test drive a Leaf. I also became hooked. The sales staff of Katy, Kim, Bill and Warren convinced me to put one in my garage. I love my Leaf. It is the best, most exciting car I have owned in over 60 years.

We were searching for a very specific used car. We found it at Dorschel and began working with them to purchase the car. Since we live two hours away they allowed us to put money down (refundable) to hold the car until we could get there. From the moment we walked in the door we experienced a professional and friendly atmosphere. The car was exactly as stated on their internet site and the purchasing process went smoothly. We now are the proud owners of a great car.

Reese was great! We had some pretty awful experiences in the past with other dealerships. These guys were honest and helpful through out the whole sale. Took care of everything and kept us updated on all the paperwork and a what to do next. They come highly recommended from my family. We did plenty of research before buying and a fair deal was made! Can't ask for more.

I called on a Friday to inquire about the availability of a car and was told it was available. Made an appointment to see it Saturday and called Saturday to confirm with Nick the sales manager that it was available and to give details on my trade to expedite the appointment. Got to the dealership to see the car and was told that it had been sold previously that week and delivered to the customer already. Big waste of time, especially since I was proactive about calling to confirm it was available. Dorschel you lose, been a customer for 10 yrs of service and sales and never coming back.

Porsche does it, again! I had been a Dorschel customer before, but I chose to do some shopping around. I found several great deals in the area and met wonderful sales staff. When I pulled into the Dorschel lot, I was looking for a specific car. Patrick came out and greeted me. He took me to the other lot to check out the car. We drove and it was as nice as I expected. It was after that, Patrick set himself apart. He provided a truly clear, simple and different approach. I kept looking and saw a car online and asked if he knew about it. I drove my new car to a recital that same day!

The whole process felt unprofessional. The salesman didn't know much about the car. Didn't even know how much the car was. Had to argue about fixing a couple of things on the car. Something as simple as a windshield wiper. Told him how we were paying for the car and as the deal went on told us we couldn't pay that way. Car was not ready when we went to pick it up more than 24 hrs. later. The salesman never setup the three month trail of satellite radio. According to the satellite radio company the salesman was supposed to have it setup.

Dosrchel Auto Exchange. My experience started out great, and got better from there. At around 6 am I found the vehicle I was interested in online. I sent an email in. The receptionist called me later that morning, and the appointment was set up for later that day. When I arrived, i received information, professional courteousness, the opportunity to make up my mind, and just a plain good experience. By 2:30 pm, I was picking up my new vehicle!! Mike was kind, gentle, just down plain nice. I asked several questions, to which I received kind answers. I felt no pressure to buy, or to pick that vehicle. I felt totally in power to make up my own mind, and make my own choices. He was great! I didn't feel violated in any fashion. He was efficient, in that he and his organization handled the whole process for us from start to finish. It was a "clean deal" in that they left no loose ends. I would recommend this dealership and salesman/manager to any one of my friends!! Nice job! My wife and I were treated with respect. I will buy from here again.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Dorschel and I had an excellent experience with regard to the sales process, the valuation of my trade-in and the quality of the repairs. Specifically, my sales representative (Rodney) was very polite, patient and responsive to all of the questions I had during my visits, after all of my visits and even after my purchase when most sales reps (based on my experience) forget about you. The sales manager (John) also treated me very fairly with regard to my trade-in vehicle. Most of the other dealers I shopped low balled my trade which I found frustrating and somewhat insulting since there is so much information on-line........just seems pointless. I found Dorschel's approach refreshing and reassuring. I bought used so there were some minor repairs that were need and both Rodney and John were hassle free with regard to the repairs and addressed everything in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. In my opinion, if you want to be treated fairly right from the start then go to Dorschel, if you want get frustrated go anywhere else.

I stopped twice to look for a 2 year old RX350. Both times I was driving my old van. Walked around the lot for 5-10 minutes without being greeted by a sales person and I left. I came back a 3rd time and after a few minutes I had to approached a service person and asked for a sale person. I waited 3-4 minutes and a sales person came out. When I told him what I wanted he said there wasn't anything in stock but invited me to come inside and he would ask the sales manager if they were working on something I might be interested in. When walking into the showroom I passed an office and there were 4 sales people sitting in the office eating and having a very funny chat. There wasn't a customer in site both inside or out. I was told the exact vehicle would be coming in within 2 weeks. How ironic that exact vehicle was coming in on trade!! I waited 3 days and called the sales person who I first saw and asked him " be honest, is the exact vehicle really coming in"? After a brief phase he told me NO. Two hours later I was at Valley Cadillac and I purchased a 2 year old SRX. I've been in sales before and the 1st thing I was taught was to never prejudge a customer. Apparently my old work van through them off. Maybe If I had driven my Acura RL or my BMW Z4 your sales people might have shown me a little more interest. My van is my winter vehicle. Thank you.

Purchased a used car, the asking price was fair. The trade in offer for my car was also fair. Got a nice car for a fair price. My salesman was Ryan, he was eager to help, however it took me 3 days to get a buyers order for the bank, Natalya was very helpful in this matter (she sent me the buyers order from her IPhone). The car had no front license plate holder upon delivery, Ryan promised to have one Federal Expressed to me from the Volvo store. I attempted to contact Ryan multiple times to inquire about the status of the plate holder, no return email. I finally purchased one myself. Moral of the story is prices are fair but get what is promised before you leave the lot.

I recently purchased a used BMW from Dorschel Lexus sales rep Matt Reeves. I wasn't actually planning on buying a new car but met Matt when I accompanied my wife, who was shopping for one. I've had just about every kind of car- buying experience imaginable over the past 30+ years and can say with great certainty that this was, by far, the most enjoyable purchase I've made. I purchased my 2012 Audi A4 just before Thanksgiving at the Dorschel Infiniti location. I was kindly greeted by Natalya Depasse as soon as I entered the location. She was amazing to work with, knowledgeable, friendly, personable and made the buying process seamless and quick. This is the first time I have ever purchased a vehicle in less than a 2 hour time frame, it seemed too good to be true!!. The manager John is also fantastic. Both Natalya and John went above and beyond after realizing my car was missing some key factors during my purchase. The staff is friendly and the overall experience was top notch!

After a lengthy process of searching for used SUV's online, I came across Dorschel's add for my used Equinox. I called to make appointment to test drive. The sales agent Matt Reeves was ready to assist me. We drove the auto and discussed some minor repair. The financing went VERY smooth! Matt was very informative. By far, Dorschel had the BEST financing rate and auto price! The next afternoon I picked up my Equinox with the repair completed and auto looking brand new. I highly recommend Dorschel for your next purchase. I know next purchase I can skip the tedious time spent shopping and go to Dorschel where they do know their business!

We have continental tires on this vehicle which are absolutely awful. Meg knows my whole story. Return calls from Nissan (Doug Avery) were never met. Working with Continental by phone was terrible and the Nissan dealership in Texas was no help at all. We had previously had a Rav-4 through Toyota which was a pretty good car. My wife liked the Rogue so we went with that. i continued to use the service people at Toyota because I liked them. Everyone was very nice when we bought the Nissan but just as soon as something goes wrong nobody wants to speak to you. Right now I am out almost $500 for two tires that Continental does not even have a warranty on them. I purchased a userd, 2008 Acura TL from Ryan at Dorschel Infiniti. When I got to the dealership, I expressed which car I was there to see, Ryan escorted my straight to the car for a test drive. I put a deposit down on Monday, and drove the car off the lot, purchase complete on Friday. After about a week of driving the car, I had noticed some noises that I wanted checked out. I called and made a service appointment and everyone of my concerns were reconciled at no cost to me. As a first time car buyer, this was an extremely smooth, easy, and satisfactory experience from start to finish.

I picked up a new-to-me car from Dorschel Nissan (Nissan) Tuesday afternoon June 23rd and on Friday June 26th the Service Engine Light came on at noontime. I immediately drove it back to Nissan and they saw the indicator light. A quick check showed that the pre-delivery service was done by Dorschel Toyota (Toyota) and that they would have to determine which service department was responsible to fix the problem. I was told to drive the car home and that I would hear on Monday June 29th on where to bring the car for service. Monday and Tuesday came and went without a call from anyone. Wednesday July 1st I called the service rep at Nissan back and was told that Toyota should have called me on Monday. He said that he would contact Toyota and have them get back to me. Forty minutes later I received a call from Toyota asking what the problem was, as if they had no idea. I was asked to make an appointment and I said that I had planned to take the car out of town for a long Independence Day weekend. Toyota said to bring it in at 1 PM, which I did. Upon arrival Toyota service employee noted the Service Engine Light was on. Travis said that they could drive me somewhere but the diagnostic should only take twenty to thirty minutes and I probably should wait to see what needed to be done. An hour and forty five minutes later, at 2:45 PM I was told that it was a Code P0420 Catalytic Converter and that they had contacted Ford to assure that the manufacturers warrantee would cover it but that Ford hadnt called back. Again, I was told to take the car home and wait for another call for the instructions for the next step. At 3:03 PM I was on my way back home again. On Thursday morning July 2nd I received a call from Toyota saying that the Manufacturers warrantee would apply and that I would have to bring it to a Ford dealership. I was given the name of a Service Rep at nearby Ford dealership and said that I might want to call him. My wife and I left for our trip in her car returning on Sunday. On Tuesday July 7th I called the suggested Ford Service Rep and he said that he had spoken with Toyota the previous week. He said that I would have to bring the car in to have the Code P0420 confirmed and that they would have to order the replacement Catalytic Converter. Here I am two weeks after picking up the car from Nissan, with virtually all the mileage back and forth to the service departments, and looking at a one hour appointment tomorrow and at least one more after that before learning if this car purchased from Dorschel will ever run properly.

She met with us on multiple occasions to show us different cars and could tell when it wasn't the perfect car, without us having to say anything. There was never any pressure to buy anything that we weren't 100% satisfied with. We brought in our own financing and she did all the work with our bank to get that paperwork processed. Great from the start! I was working with Bobby Coleman for over a month preparing me, who is a first time buyer from a dealership, to be successful once I came in to look at SUVs. I loved the no prssure, yet stayed in touch at my convience for all my questions and concerns. I have him my situation and budget, along with what I was looking for, and he gave me a huge list of options! Finally I picked what I wanted to test drive and made a time to come in. Unfortunately, Bobby wasn't able to assist me, but they set me up with Mark who helped finish what Bobby had planned. Mark was awesome, listened to what I want and let me test drive the best choices for what I was looking for. He laid out the pros and cons to each vehicle, but never once told me or made me lean towards something I wouldn't like. He followed my lead which was such a relief! While doing the paper work there were snags that did take a long time and did cause me some stess. Mark helped me through it and the people there did the job and got me the best rate and I drove out in the exact vehicle I was looking for! Defiantly telling where I got it and how great those 2 were to me. And if I need to get a new vehicle I am going straight there, good prices and great people!!

I had gone in to buy a used car that was from a website. Dorschel sales associate had no experience and knowledge of what the vehicle was. Also, she pulled credit scores and told us we should have no problems getting a loan for the vehicle we picked and then we waited and waited and waited several hours. Then we came back the next day and waited to find out they had entered our credit info in incorrectly. The vehicle had only half a tank of gas when getting it. It also blew a headlight before getting home. The sunroof didn't work correctly. It didn't even come with a key fob and The shift boot was messed up on the car. It was just overall ridiculous dealership. I plan on never coming back and advise others to look else where unless you want to get a bad experience. The best thing about the dealership was the service department which I had to come back the next day to fix stuff on the car.

Andrew Dana was an absolute pleasure to work with while buying our used Ford from Dorschel. Being an Infinity salesman he wasn't that familiar with the Ford line and that was acceptable. I could tell this car was dropped on him only a couple of days prior. He was young and smart and we figured it out together. He allowed my wife and I to discuss the pros and cons, listened and was able to figure out some of the "bells and whistles" because of his youth and technical ability. There was no "hard sell". It was completely up to us. When we decided to make the purchase Andrew worked his butt off to make sure we could take it home that day. "That day" was a Saturday, by the way. This was the first time we dealt with Dorschel and we will certainly not hesitate to come back again. Buying a car can be stressful when you don't have an unlimited budget, but when we left in our new car, we were more than relieved with the ease of the experience......now let the payments begin.

I came in and was matched with Bobby C . he was very pleasant and knew what he was talking about. I told him exactly what I liked and didn't like and we found a car. It was new in so still being detailed so we went to look at it. He drove me there and back twice once I decided I wanted to put a deposit to hold it. After that point the communication was lacking and my pick up date was delayed. I like things to run as planned and it didn't. Once the sign date came things went better. I was shown around the facility and it was much to my likeing. I hope the future with this dealership is as pleasant as this was.

Brought my VW in for a check engine light. Replaced a sensor that eliminated the check engine light (temporarily), for about 30 miles. Then it came back on. Also, when I picked my car up the tachometer no longer was working, but it was working perfectly fine before I brought it in. So, brought car back a few days later to have check engine light fixed again, along with the new broken tachometer issue, plus inspection. Engine light problem was finally solved, it was found to be some emissions issue and was replaced under warranty. But in order to pass inspection, my computer needed a reset, almost $100. Had no choice there so I had that done. Got my car back and tachometer still isn't fixed. Doesn't a computer reset fix that? Shouldn't they check to see if it has? Two trips there and 4 hours of combined waiting in the lobby for a car that still isn't fixed. So I'll have to go back yet AGAIN for the 3rd time! Not sure if the technicians are on the same page with the service reps or even fully read the page/printout of what the car needs done. I can't imagine what kind of nightmare it would be if I needed major repairs.

I've been wanting a Mini for a long time, but wasn't sure that it would fit all my gear in it (I"m a home care nurse and I carry a LOT of supplies). We thought we'd stop by Dorschel Mini on our way to the new Field and Stream store. As we pulled in, we saw a 2003 BMW Z4 - much like one we had seen earlier at a different dealer, but it had issues and they weren't helpful. Anyhoo, we took it out for a drive on a cool but sunny October afternoon. The heated seats kept us nice and warm and it's trunk will hold my stuff, should I choose to drive it for work. Then we went on to look at the Minis. Our salesperson, Ryan Dwyer, was extremely knowledgeable, wonderfully personable, and not at all pushy. We hadn't really planned on buying a car that day, we were "just looking", but when you find the right vehicle, why wait? So, we bought both the Z4 and a Clubman and couldn't be happier! This is our third car from Dorschel, we are very pleased with the experience and service we receive!

My wife wanted a new car, as her 2003 CRV had seen better days. We found a 2013 Accord EX at a local dealer in Henrietta (NY) and put down a deposit. A coworker of mine suggested I try Dorschel, as they usually have great prices and generally give more for trade-ins. Well, I reached out and discovered they were actually taking in a 2013 Accord EXL that day with fewer miles, no accident reported on the CarFax, had leather and heated seats AND were asking $500 less than the original car we looked at. They told me to come over right away and take a look at the car, which I did, and immediately put a deposit down on this vehicle (I did get my other deposit back). Ashley Lanning at Dorschel Mini met me as I arrived and was as pleasant to deal with as any car salesperson I've ever worked with. Long story short, I brought our CRV in the next day and Dorschel gave me $2,000 more for the trade, meaning I spent a total of $2,500 LESS on a superior car, with fewer miles and no accident history! Even though we didn't finance through Dorschel (we have excellent credit, and their lenders were not able to meet the rate our Credit Union offered), Ashley was instrumental in working the phones with our Credit Union to get the deal done quickly, as I had a business trip to leave for in 2 days. All around excellent experience from our salesperson Ashley and Dorschel as a whole. The next time we need a car, we already know who we're calling - Ashley Lanning at Dorschel!

Having found the model I was looking for online, I called to make sure the vehicle was still there and available. I was invited to make an appointment to see the car, did so and drove late one afternoon to Dorschel Lexus, from Syracuse. The over the top experiance began upon my arrival at Dorschel--it was the most pleasant approach to auto purchasing I've ever witnessed-- no waiting, no back and forth negotiations, no "checking with my manager"; one fixed, fair and exceedingly competitive, pre-determined displayed price and personal, uninterrupted attention to all details and needs of the customer: The vehicle was immaculate--obviously cleaned and detailed just before my arrival. Matt Reeves extended an invitation to drive the vehicle for miles, offered to have my trade in appaised, patiently answered my questions and demonstrated the operation of the various accessories, reviewed the car's prior history, and devoted an uninterupted 2-3 hours to my focused attention. What a delightful purchasing experience! It's worth the drive!

For anybody looking to get into a new or used car, I can whole-heartedly recommend the guys at Dorschel's Mini Cooper division. I was dreading the thought of having to go through the associated pains of replacing my old car when I happened across Dorschel's site and found a car that fit my budgetary and other requirements. Went down to the dealership expecting this to be just an initial choice in a long process of evaluation, recalculation, etc. Funnily it was the exact car I ended up getting. Ryan was a pleasure to deal with, straightforward and more of a facilitator than anything else. So - no free TV, oil changes for life or other gimmicks, but a fair deal and respectful transaction. Who could want more.

I had an excellent experience at the Dorschel Infiniti facility while purchasing one of their used cars. My salesmen was Andrew Dana and he did a great job helping me through the car buying process. He was so friendly and had excellent customer service and knowledge of the vehicle. I will always check out Dorschel first from now on because I was so pleased with Dorschel's sales process and how easy it was in comparison to other dealers. Not to mention they really do cut down the cost of the vehicle as much as possible. In comparison to the other dealers with the same car and same miles Dorschel was just so much more affordable and they really made it easy. I was a more then satisfied customer.

Went shopping for a used car at this dealership. Welcomed by the greeter and a manger once i entered the dealership and they had the car I asked for online ready to go. Scott Kells-Murphy was the person I worked with for 3 days while making my decision on the car. I bought a 2011 Elantra and at a good price from here. Scott always got back to me fast on every phone call and there was never pressure on getting the car. Helped me look up other cars to test drive and was always understanding that i wanted to look around more. The dealer ship found a low interest and searched different places for them. The rate was lower than the actual one quoted in the beginning. Test drove the car on Monday and was taking off the lot on Wednesday. Fast turn around great experience

We wanted to choose four and a half stars but weren't able to do that. Our salesman Gregory Chernyak was informative, courteous and there was no pushing of options. Gregory made us aware of what options were available (example: undercoating, extended warranty etc..) There was zero pressure to do any of them. We chose what we wanted. My suggestion to anyone thinking of buying a new or used vehicle is to research it online at the Dorshel website. They provide detailed information online including great pictures. When you are ready, call them up or e-mail for a test drive. You will not feel the pressure to buy like at other dealerships. The will give you their "clear" price and if you like it, within an hour or two, you will have your new car. Their isn't any pressure to do add ons either. I will go to Dorschel again for the purchase of my next vehicle.

I suddenly found myself in need of a new car--my old one had caught fire and was a total loss. So, here I was looking for a car not having any idea what I really wanted and soooo many places to look. I found some nice cars on the Dorschel used car website and decided to investigate. From my initial phone call with the young lady who set me up with salesman Ryan Chacinski I have had nothing but great things to say about buying this car. Ryan was very polite, professional and didn't mind that I tried several cars in the cold, came back several times and then brought back my boyfriend to once again try these cars. He was patient and he didn't pressure me. Probably the coolest thing about him was his extensive knowledge about all the cars I test drove. He even impressed my boyfriend who is a car "nut" . I believe I got a good price on a very nice car and they helped me get good financing. I appreciated the tour of state of the art facility and am confident any service I will need will be done correctly and I will have a comfortable place to wait or a lift to where I want to go. Although I didn't have any plans on getting a car, I am very pleased with my purchase and the unbelievable customer service I received from Ryan. As a customer service professional I appreciate finding someone who really loves his job and performs it well. This is my first time buying from Dorschel. My daughter and her husband both bought Toyotas from Dorschel and she brought be over to the Dorschel Nissan. Kyle Stefano took care of us and he was patient , knowledgeable and NOT PUSHY. He let me test drive 6 times with 4 different cars. He offered help but let us walk around and try sitting in cars. He patiently waited until I decided on a car, which was two trips later. After shopping around online and at local dealerships for weeks, my search lead me to Dorschel, the place I wished I had started my search, I would have avoided a lot of frustration and wasted time. I couldn't have possibly asked for a better experience. I was looking for a reliable, classy, affordable vehicle and I got just that. I met with Josh (Dorschel Sales), explained to him my situation, needs and budget. He came back to me three viable solutions that all met the criteria that we established in our original conversation, Josh explained very thoroughly the pros of each and suggested I go with 2008 BMW 535xi. There was literally zero oscillation (on my decision), because Josh is knowledgeable, trustworthy and did not push me in any direction. He presented the options and left the decision with me (there was no hard sell). Mike (Dorschel Sales) was able to get me financing at a very competitive rate (less than what was presented as market on-line) and worked through the necessary paperwork thoroughly and efficiently with great attention to detail. When I got in the car it was immaculate, their detail shop really did their job. Mike gave me a tour of all the bells and whistles (I have no need to pick up the manual) and I was on my way. I recently purchased a used Volkswagen Jetta from the Dorschel Automotive Group. This experience, which concluded a 2 month search, was so positive that I consider Dorschel a first class dealership. My sales consultant, Will Nichols, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He made this vehicle purchase, from the initial test drive to the final paperwork, the most enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had. This vehicle was delivered in impeccable condition both inside and out. I live 50 miles from this dealership, but will travel to Dorschel for my future vehicle needs. Again I would do this given the fact that, from my personal customer experience, Dorschel is a first class dealership.

The attraction for me that brings me back to Dorschel is the simplicity of the process. I am not a fan of buying cars. I realize it is a part of life that is tough to avoid. Like going to the dentist. So I choose to make the process as simple and easy as possible. Terry Butler was top notch. No pressure. Allowing me the time to come to the dealership when I could, and leave again when other things needed to be attended to. I knew what I wanted to pay. He made it work without any songs and games. I don't mind that other dealerships create promotions that are designed to bring in customers. The marketplace has something for everyone. But if what you want is just a straight forward buying experience, that gets you a fair price without all the clutter, then I recommend you stop in to see Terry. And Kia makes a great car. This is our second Soul and we have had absolutely no problems with either. Now if Terry could only fill cavities!

I was in a car accident last week and totaled my car. I had to go out of town for work the next day so my mom called Nick Olan at Dorschel since she had recently leased a car from him a few months prior. When I got back from my work trip I met with Nick on Monday. A few hours later I was driving home my new Nissan Rogue! Nick was excellent, working with me to stay in my budget and helping me through the process. Looking for a new car can be stressful, especially after being involved in a car accident and Nick went above and beyond to help me. I just took home my second Infiniti and enjoyed the process of purchasing without any pressure from the Salesperson, Christina Dana. Typically, buying a car is all about fairly intense negotiating going back and forth about your trade the price of the car you're buying, what a pain. Clear, simple, different, very refreshing + it works. They give you the best price that they can for the car you're buying, if you agree to that price they evaluate your car and give you the best price that will pay you for your trade, if you agree to both transactions, you've made a purchase That's it. I couldn't be more pleased, you never walk away thinking, if I held out for one more hour I could have saved a few dollars. Dorschel's buying process is straight up and I like it.

Our experience at Dorschel was just awful. Clear. Simple. Different. OK how about Confusing. Complex. Different yeah since the last business model of standing behind every car they sell. This model safely distances them and leaves the customer feeling alone. How about walking into Dorschel Toyota interested in test driving a certified pre-owned car, only to be told "no one is available to help you, please come back later." No pressure to buy. Try, acting like they couldn't care less if you buy or not. Probably because they don't work on commission anymore. No haggling. Try, not working with the customer at all with any price (including trade value). Making the customer feel guilty they even attempted to inquire. We're still trying to get over what happened. Yes, we ended up purchasing a vehicle. Only after exchanging a brand new car from Dorschel that had mechanical problems within 24 hours of owning it. We love our new (certified pre-owned) car but not because of Dorschel. It's still nauseating as we are 3-car buyers from Dorschel so we thought nothing else than to go back to them to purchase our 4th. What a complete mistake that was. Huge mistake. Maybe it was the Toyota receptionist. Maybe it was the 2 Toyota saleguys. Maybe it was the Nissan trade assessor. Maybe it was the Nissan salesguy. All seemed to have a lot in common. Blatently lying over and over, acting like they don't care, putting us on the defensive, not returning our calls or emails throughout the process. Not giving us the paperwork we needed when we finally purchased the certified pre-owned so we had to go back several times to get all of it. Promising things that didn't happen. Not showing up to the delivery. Just a disgusting experience. One that will take some time to get over. And in the meantime, letting others know to be careful at Dorschel. It's not the same company as it used to be.

I traveled from out of state to Rochester to purchase my pre-owned 2013 Hyundai Veloster, and it was well worth the almost 600 mile trip. The non negotiable price of the car was by far the lowest that I could find anywhere, and the car was everything described verbally and by pictures. I had filled out the vehicle intrest on a pontiac vibe that they had for sale on a sunday nite. Monday morning they gave me a call to see if i had any questions about the vhicle or would like to come down and take it for a test drive. But at this time i was still trying to figure out which of my old vehicles i was going to be trading in , so i explained it to them , and told them it would take me a couple of days to figure it out. Well by the time i made my decision, they had sold it. Not a problem , my fault for waiting to long. I had purchsed a 2004 toyota matrix from them back in august of 2010, and me and my wife were very pleased with how they do busness. That's why i checked them out first. Unfortunately they sold the Vibe and had nothing else that i was intrested in, so i went elsewhere. Yes i will always check with Dorschel first , before i try anywhere else.did i mention that they honored the warranty on the used matrix that i bought from them in 2010 and did quaity work withouy any hassle. I feel guilty for going somplace else.

This was definitely one of my better car buying experiences! I had test driven the 2013 Nissan Murano a few times at different dealers while deciding what vehicle I wanted to buy. When I finally decided on the Murano I found a color combination with the options I wanted on Dorschel's online inventory. I contacted them online, we followed up with a few phone calls and my Murano was purchased! I was transferring plates and the employees were able to do all the DMV work with a picture of my registration and my insurance card texted to them. The credit application was done online so that when I got to Rochester later that evening, my car was ready and I just had to sit and sign all the paperwork! I am amazed at what a better experience internet buying was compared to sitting through what typically seems like all sorts of games car salespersons typically employ. Our sales person was fine, he went over the vehicle with me and gave me only one "wrong" piece of information. He did follow up with me and I had a question that I still don't have a good answer on. So I guess the only area of improvement would be just that little bit more knowledge to help the customers with. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family!

That said I have to say, the people that I came into contact with at Dorschel made this an almost enjoyable experience and would not hesitate to recommend them if you are in the market for a new vehicle. They were patience, they listened, offered solutions, guiding where I should be looking based on my stated preferences -- the buying process moved at the perfect temp, I never felt rushed, but yet they kept the ball moving forward so to speak to get the deal done and I'm glad they did because I love my new car. My experience was excellent with Todd Phenneger as my sales consultant. He was professional and extremely patient as I made my decision. Unlike the majority of other car dealerships Dorschel was not pushy and primarily concerned that I was making the right purchase decision for myself. Both Todd and Hobbie worked with me to accommodate my budget and there were no hidden fees. They were willing to stay beyond closing hours to finalize the sale and ensure that all documentation would be ready at the time of pick-up. I made an appt with don shoemaker who was very nice.,but he had to walk to the Kia dealer to ask questions about the car I test drove, then we were discussing warranties and he couldn't reach anyone to answer questions it was the last time I would go through such bad service. I have just recently bought a used 2009 toyota from Dorschel. They were absolutely wonderful. my sales rep Ashley Lanning went above and beyond when it came to my schedule to sign papers, even offering to bring them to me. The manager John was also very helpful and flexible in making sure my needs and wants were met. the over all buying process was quick and easy and the great deal on financing was even better. A week after buying the car I had some minor problems with my tire after hitting road debris Dorschel towed my car at no expense got it in and fixed quickly to conform with my busy work schedule and all at no cost to me. They are wonderful with both pricing and customer care and service I went to several different dealers and this one was the most relaxed and easy buying experience I was offered.

My wife and I were looking for a new car for her. We went to all dealers, Chevy, Toyota, KIA, and Nissan. My wife was frustrated with the sales people we encountered. Most were pushy and some were down right rude. We then went out to Dorschel in Henrietta. It was a breath of fresh. Our salesperson was Dave Dildy, he was very professional and down to earth. He asked us what we wanted and after we told him he showed us a number of vehicles that fit our description. After we decided on a Nissan Rouge Dave showed us all of the Incentives that we qualified for. If the service dept is as good as the sales staff it will be a continued pleasure to deal with Dorschel. My first service is in 3 months and then I will be able to comment on the service dept.

I initialy went to the dealership for the 30k maintenance and while there I checked the summer clearance deals. My lease was due on October31 so I just went in 3 months ahead of time. I was able to get into a new 2013 Rx350 with similar features as before plus very nice new ones. The process was very smooth. The company even paid the first month lease payment so I am left with 35 more months. The new features are great, especially if you get the blind spot detector option. The navigation system is more simple to use and now you can synchronize your smart phone via bluetooth so you can listen to Pandora, etc. The new monthly payments were just slightly higher than before with exiting new features added. There was no pushy sales pitch and I could have waited to the end of my lease but with the deal I got I decided best to do the change now. Bill Barish is a fantastic salesperson and I highly recommend him.

I visited a full circuit of Nissan dealers from Cortland, Ithaca, Syracuse to Rochester. First, let me say the no haggle, bottom line pricing was a different experience and having "greeters" was unusual, but did make sense in how busy they were that day. I was close to a deal in Syracuse but Dorschel had the Frontier 4x4 crew cab full bed I was looking for...AND at a bottom line price that beat the other dealer's short bed. Yes, there are "gimmicks" in the bottom line, like all applicable rebates and finance incentives, but Bill Treadway explained them to me before the deal went too far. It was also a new experience to take the team leader (manager) for a test drive in my trade-in. I was extremely happy with the trade-in offer. That sealed the deal and worth the 3 road trips from Cortland. In reference to other reviews that don't rate service as doing well, Bill and I did experience a snag in the process of paying for mud flaps, so there may be truth to those reviews as well. However, the overall experience was so good that except for a difference in trade-in value my wife almost bought her Rogue from them.

I recently went to Dorschel to look at the Lexus brand. I have been driving Acura's for several years and I became frustrated with the quality of vehicle Acura was putting out and felt it was time for a change. I had several deals on the table with Audi and Lincoln but wanted to look at Lexus as well. The night before I went to Dorschels to look at what they had in stock. To my suprise the vehicle I had been looking for was right on the showroom floor! I got back in my car and told my wife I was buying that car the next day as long as they could make the deal resonable. I spoke with Cheryl over the phone the very next morning and explained what I was looking for and what I wanted to pay. She was back to me 10 min later with some rough numbers and asked me to come down. about an hr after I got there I was the Proud owner of a Lexus IS 250 AWD. The sales manager Ron went for a ride in my trade in and was very interested in how I was able to keep the car in such great shape. It was nice considering it had 120,000 miles. Overall it was very much a simple and VERY fast process, I drove the car home a few hrs later and this was on a Saturday.

Easy to find the facility. Greeted by a receptionist. Salesman called . Sat at his booth & chit chated & then I told him what I wanted he explained the ins & outs of leasing & buying very thoroughly. Terry was very easy to deal with. You should let him teach your salesman how to sell without all of the tricks & poor sales techniques that I have been use to for 60 years. So far I am very pleased with Dorschel. Since I just purchased the Kia on Monday I have no experience with the service dept.

I enjoyed walking around the lot knowing that the clear price displayed on the window tag was the price I was going to pay. I hate the idea of having to negotiate the price of a car, I can't do it for a bottle of ketchup at the grocery store! Chris Stelter was an excellent representative, not only of the Kia line but also the Dorschel brand. Although fairly new in the business, he was knowlegable of the product and the buying process. I'm happy with the entire experience and my brand new Sportage! Thanks Chris!

i have not bought a new car in a decade. i was always intimidated because of my awful car buying experience years ago. dorschel was so different. i had a wonderful sales guy that was patient and explained everything to the fullest. i am so glad i went there. i love my car. my experience at dorschel. i have already began to reccomend friends that are looking for cars. i will definitely be going back when i need a car upgrade or any other services.

I purchased a new mini cooper AWD countryman from Dorschel and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the experience. I worked with Ashley, who was patient and friendly. Never did I feel the pressure of a sale, which was not true at other dealers. I highly recommend working with her at Dorschel.

The buying process was quick and easy. Everyone was very helpful and made th process easy. Only problem is when I got home I noticed there was tape on the passenger side mirror holding a platic piece together. My own fault for not looking the car over better. Other than that no problems at all

I have bought two cars in the last month and one car in the past from Dorschel I enjoyed the no bargaining and no crap from the dealer I like that they didn't push me to buy the car it showed it to me and let me decide whether I wanted to buy the car the salesman was very knowledgeable about those cars I bought unlike other dealers in my pastthey went out of their way to help me and even on his own time the salesman was answering questions if you're looking for a Mini Cooper headed mini cooper Rochester talk to Alan and if you want to Kia Soul or any kind of Kia head to Dorschel also.

Is your facility staffed with Sales Consultants or phone operators? I have tried for 3 weeks to get information about a 350Z convertible that you may or may not have available. I must admit I am not a fan of the "new" Dorschel Sales process. How difficult is it to determine if a car is available or not? It seems near impossible to get an actual Sales Consultant to walk over to the car and speak to me about the car on the phone! I have news for you, not all of us do our shopping in person at your facility. I will go to a dealership that knows and appreciates how to treat people with busy and active lifestyles.

I was firsr impressed when meeting salesman Phil who explained the no haggle pricing and no pressure approach to Dorschel. I was disappointed that he never followed up in the ensuing weeks as his inventory of used cars changed with the thought that something would meet my needs.When researching a few weeks later, I saw an ad on a car search web site for a car that I wanted to see at Dorschel, so I called the number. The person in charge of internet contact told me he couldn't find the car in his computer; it was an old stock number. A sales person was supposed to get back to me on the status of the car but never did. A few weeks later, I saw another car and spoke with the same internet person who told me a similar story and that the car was more than likely sold. He did give my number to a sales person who said the car just arrived on the lot. Prior to that phone call the internet sales person was rude when I insisted that this couldn't be happening twice. He accused me of wanting to contact the buyer! In any regard I did make an appointment for the following day to see the car that seemingly arrived out of nowhere. Since it'd been a few weeks since they estimated my trade, they said that had to do the process again. Only this time the price they offered me was 1700 less than what they'd offered me a few weeks ago! I said surely nothing in the market place or my car could justify the drop in trade in value. I left saying if they give me the same trade in that I had from them before, I'd consider the car. I came back that afternoon and they offered me 200 shy of the original quote. However, when totally up their final numbers, their price of the car was 400 more than the internet price. They told me it's very easy for a person to view 14000 and 14400 the same! I knew that I saw 14000 the night I made the call, so when I got home, I called the manager who confirmed to me they had increased the car's price that day.He said he would honor the price I saw and turned me over to another manager, who after going through details I wanted said to me he "had a company to run", implying I was taking up too much of his time. The following day, when talking to my salesmen about delivery, he stated "Just don't come in after 4 pm because I have 5 deliveries to do" Both these conversations made me feel like I was not important to them. Along with the other red flags regarding price changing, not finding cars that are advertised, and lowering my trade in allowance made me decide against their car and against using them ever in the future.I was surprised and yet not shocked to read the other reviews about price changing from Dorschel. Buyers be aware of their tactics.All these red flags made me not want to purchase the car I'd seen.
