I am from out of town and just stopped in to get my oil changed because my indicator light came on. This dealership went WAY above and beyond my expectations! They got me right in, gave my daughter and I a ride to have lunch while we waited, and then had the oil changed and tires rotated before we had even ordered our drinks. I have dealt with many Chevy dealerships - this one is fabulous!

Was traveling through area, and decided it was time to replace my ten year old tires on my '06 Corvette. I had already received quotes from the National Tire stores, but felt uncomfortable with them changing tires on the car. So I called Don Mealey Chevrolet inquiring what they offered, and was connected with Danielle Macri, which is one of the dealerships Quick Service Manager. My goodness, what an awesome experience! She was very knowledgeable, gave me tire mfg options, and once she knew my needs, she called me back with pricing and availability (which was very competitive with the national chains). Ordered tires, set an appointment, was treated like royalty when I arrived for appointment. They provided me with loaner while tires were installed. When I came to pick up the car, Danielle also had made arrangements to have car washed and polished.It made me feel that with Danielle's great positive attitude, she reflected what must be the dealerships and managements attitudes about customers.

Went to the website to search running deals, found a new 2016 camaro at a great price call to confirm the car I was viewing was in stock and matched the vin and stock number. I go in prepared to buy to find out it had 5k miles on it and they are selling it as brand new and would not honor the deal even though it had a running clock and an expiration date on when the deal would be up. This was a horrible experience and they gave lie after lie after lie, if this is the way they are going to do buisness I would suggest that no one buy from them you will regret even going in there to view their inventory.

This is the best experience that my family has ever had at a car dealership. Our salesman, Adam Snyder, was awesome and set the tone for a great evening. He was laid back, full of expertise, and very customer service oriented. He made it his mission to help us find exactly what we wanted and needed. My family appreciated his willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to see us through the experience from beginning to end. Every single person we dealt with was very patient and kind. I would recommend this dealership and Adam to anyone interested in a vehicle.

Ricky has been a excellent advisor in helping me with the restoration of my 1995 truck. He has been pinnacle in getting my truck restored to better than original. In the beginning of the build Ricky talked with Mike Deal, and with his experience, Mike has been able to get everything completed. During the time that I have been working with Ricky and Mike, I have noticed that the Don Mealey service department is a big family. They are a great team of people. I would recommend Ricky and any of the other advisors for your needs. Working with Mike has been great. I consider the people at Don Mealey service the best in the business.

On September 20,2016. I brought my 19 year old daughter to this dealership in hopes to find her a newer car. We were paired up with Alex Croyle. Man he is the best car salesperson. He knew we were stressed and did everything right to help calm us down. Alex paired us with Deandre to help with insurance for my daughter. He also helped get everything in order and neither of them left our side during the whole time. Answered all question and talked with us like we were their family members. When the time came for the last part of signing papers we were sent to the finance department. Where we met Mark. He also did a fantastic job with making the transition from never owning a car to owning a car. I will always recommend people i know to come see these 3 great men. They have become our family. We will always deal with them for future needs. Thank you so much for helping calm a stressful day for my daughter and I. If i could rate all 3 of them at a higher standard I would rate them at 100%

I brought my car in for a oil change and tire rotation. The oil change was completed and they did not rotate the tires because they said it would be a waste of my money to do so. They suggested that I get new tires. Danielle was awesome. She gave me all the info but was not pushy or overbearing. She gave me a full explanation of what my choices were and I left. I stopped at a local tire place to get a price quote on my own. Danielle got back to me by the end of the day and she was able to give me a great price. She was so very helpful thru this whole process. I have been coming to this dealership for oil changes for a few years now and I have really enjoyed each visit. The team here is always helpful and I am always in and out. I will be coming here for all my service apts in the future.

I took my 2016 corvette in yesterday for an appointment to get my first oil change completed. When I arrived I was already under the weather. Danielle told me that there was a recall for a software update regarding frontal air bag non-deployment. I asked her how much more time would this take then my oil change - she stated 30 minutes. I explained how I did not want to sit for 1 1/2 - 2 hours due to not feeling good. She amazingly had the entire car finished and had me back on the road in 40 minutes. This is my 2nd experience with Danielle - the first was a flat tire on my corvette on my way to work. Needless to say I missed my shift that day. However Danielle with her great personality and sense of urgency made my day better than as well. Kudos to whomever promoted her to quick service manager. It is important to have the faces of your business as true genuine ambassadors. Chevrolet is my favorite brand and Danielle is a good ambassador for Chevrolet.

This property is nothing short of beautiful and all the staff here are welcoming and friendly! I had Bruce as my salesman and there was no pressure or stress on being forced to buy. It really became a seemeless and efficient visit and I ended up buying a Chevy 2017 CruzeLT. Love my new ride and would recommend Bruce and everyone that was involved in my transaction there. We just moved here and in need of a new truck. We looked on line and found a truck for a certain price. We went to dealership found the truck on the lot. We were approached by a salesman . We ask about the truck and were told the price on line was not for that specific truck. We were then told they could not sell that truck for the price on line. When we asked about the best CASH yes cash price ( we don't need financing) he just kept on talking about financing and how much did we want to pay a month. What part of cash did he not understand. Maybe listening skills should be at the next staff meeting. And false advertising is not acceptable.

Then she explained that it would take more testing and she told he there would be one hour labor charge. When the problem was discovered, Danielle waved the labor charge as the fix was very simple. My son's car started to overheat while he was in Clermont visiting a friend. We live in Crystal River which is over an hours drive to Clermont. He took the car, a 2002 Chevy Impala to the Don Mealey delership. Initially we were told the problem was a radiator thermostat and associated hoses. the delearship replaced those parts and called us to come get the car. We left Crystal River to pick up the car and when we arrived we were told the car was still overheating and we needed to leave car with the dealership. While I was not happy about driving over an hour to pick up the vehicle only to be told it was not ready, I think the fact that the dealership staff continued to test the car and would not let us take the care back to Crystal River speaks to the honesty and integrity of the staff. They could have just sent us home with a car that was not fixed and the car would have broken down somewhere between Clermont and Crystal River. I was very impressed with the staff and their dedication to find a solution to the overheating problem even though it took a couple of weeks to find a solutiion. After our initial "visit" the dealership installed a new control module but still had issues with overheating. The problem apparently was the control module was not sending code to the fans that cool the radiator to come on when a specified temperture was reached. The dealership ended up calling technical experts from GM to help them with the problem. The problem was fixed by executing new software codes for the control module. The staff worked dilligently and regular communications were provided by Danielle Macri. Danielle even drove the car during her lunch hour to ensure there was no overheating problem after technicians installed new codes. Danielle also filled the car up with gas. The dealership was more than fair with cost of repair and did not charge us for the thermostat and associated hoses. My family and I were very impressed with the way this complicated problem was handled by dealership. Danielle was the face of the dealership and her assistance was both diplomatic and competent. I wish I knew the names of other staff members who helped with this "project" as I am sure several technicians and managers were involved. Thanks to all!

I took my traverse into the service department on a Saturday morning of a holiday weekend for some engine issues. There were at least 10 other cars there and I pulled up with 3 other people. I came into Don Mealey Chevrolet looking to possibly buy a new vehicle. I had my heart set on a newly redesigned Impala but was unsure if it would work for my financial situation. I was greeted with a sales floor full of smiling faces, all willing and happy to help me in any way I needed. I was asked if I needed any refreshments before taking the walk around the lot to check out their inventory. The salesperson Taylor was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I could tell that everyone there was genuinely happy that I had stopped in to their dealership. After walking around the lot for a bit I noticed a beautiful blue new body Impala. It was an their LTZ (Top of the line) and I immediately fell in love. I was explained everything in exact detail with a very non-pressure presentation. Actually, I found the whole experience to be very transparent and non-pressure. I was initially worried I would not be able to afford the vehicle but the managers Ted and Rodney as well as the finance department assured me they would do everything they could to make sure I was happy with my experience and my deal. They worked up the numbers in a very timely manner and they did not try to use any outdated pressure tactics or side talk throughout any of the process.They tailored the deal to fit my exact needs. FINALLY A PLACE THAT DOESN'T PLAY ANY GAMES! I can honestly say they truly care about their customers as well as their community. I am extremely pleased with my experience at Don Mealey Chevrolet! I won't be shopping anywhere else due to the professionalism and genuine appreciation with which everything was handled. Rickey Jordan acted with uncommon professionalism, stepping in on my scheduled service that had previously been arranged by another technician. On the day of my drop off of the vehicle, We reviewed the scheduled service in great detail and avoided a costly installation that would not have satisfied me. Rickey asked very detailed questions and allowed me to speak directly with the outside service provider to get exactly what I wanted versus what had previously been scheduled. The service completion was delayed a day, but was well worth the delay. On the day of pickup, Ricky called me midday to reconfirmed time of pickup and met me at the service cashier station and went out to the vehicle to go over it with me to make sure it met my expectations. Bought a 2009 Arcadia from them only to learn it was rigged up to drive for only a year started having problems after problems took it into the service center to explain to them what was wrong with it asked for a vehicle inspection in which I told them to put it on a machine so I knew exactly what was wrong with it instead I was told by Rickie they done a visual inspection instead remind you a visual inspection meant looking at it visual and not physically so what's to say what's physically wrong with it to make a blog story short I replaced the pipes underneath which cost a lot every time I went to fuel my car and put gas in it it wouldn't start so I was told that was the problem got home drove it for two days and now something else wrong take it back to them now it's the motor mounts transmission all kind of bull crap remind you if they would of put it on the machine the first time all this would have been prevented after getting very frustrated with them letting them hold on to it for a while they give me a call that they were going to fix all the problems for me free of charge so I said great not to mentioned I bought 4 other cars from them so I thought they were doing Me a huge favor remind you I haven't drove this car for a year so I get it home drive it for a week and now it's the transmission wow I gave up on it the whole theory of this story if you purchase something make sure you know what your getting yourself into all this money came out of my pocket and there not honest they just want your money I would never in life purchase or recommend them to a dog if he had license and wanted to buy a vehicle stay away from them

My lady and me decided to take a look at a Corvette last week and the salesperson had no tact at all.We where neatly dressed in jeans but the salesperson gave us the feeling of not taking us serious to possibly by a car in the future. The salesman said the cars are locked because of children but he never offered to open the doors on any of the 4 cars in the showroom. The salesman never offered his card as we where leaving. The salesman seemed to be sizing us up that we could not afford a car like a Corvette.When I buy one and not from Don Mealy I will be sure to send my invoice to the dealership.We can't remember the salespersons name but by the pictures below it looked like Bob Poston.A lesson for this dealership never estimate a person's ability to buy.

John Flecher has helped me with service for about 7 yrs. Now that he is a supervisor he still steps in to ensure that all of his people are doing an excellent job. On 12-19 he appeared to be short some staff so he took charge of my problem and called one of the mechanics who took care of my problem in record breaking time. He has to be one of Mealey's best employees. My car is always given the very best of service.xx

Towed my car to two independent shops before towing it here. After over paying elsewhere my car still would not start. Was contacted by the staff after only half a day! (Took the other shops over a week with no positive results and vehicle still would not start). Turned out to be a small repair of a replacement intake manifold after both independent shops quoted me a new engine! Fully expected the same here and intended to have the repair done here but their product knowledge saved me thousands! I would recommend this be your first stop before the independent facilities and will be mine from now on. Thank you!!!!

Being a recent widow I was nervous about bringing my vehicle into a dealership because I don't know anything about cars and my husband was the one who always handled things. I called and set up an appointment to bring my car in for maintenance with Katie and she was very friendly. Once I got to the dealership Jennifer was my service advisor and there was a young man on the drive that checked my battery and fluids right there in front of me so I could see what fluids needed changed or not. Jennifer was knowledgeable and great at explaining everything to me and made me feel at ease and not taken advantage of at all. I will definitely be back to Don Mealey for my future services.

I went to Don Mealey in Clermont in search of a truck. We got out of the car and within a minute or so Ben came up to help us! He was so honest and knowledgeable. He asked some questions to find out exactly what we needed in the price range we were looking for. He found us the perfect truck! I couldn't thank him enough! My car would not start one morning this past week. It ran fine the evening before. When i tired to start it the engine tried to crank but only made an unusual noise. I had the vehicle towed to Don Mealey as that is where I purchased the vehicle. I allegedly have an extended warranty. Although I was hesitant to give them another chance since during a previous service request, Don Mealey refused to honor the extended warranty and I had to pay over $1,000.00 to have my vehicle repaired at another facility, but i was unsure as to why the engine would not start. Once again the service writer advised me I did not have an extended warranty. I requested he check with the sales department and get back to me the next day. I was called back at 3:00 pm and advised the car only needed a battery. I was advised by the service writer, Chris, that my battery was "dead" and would not hold a charge. I questioned this as the battery was recently replaced and less than 6 months old. He advised that it might be a bad cell, or a short in the battery. I needed my car, so asked that the battery be replaced. Upon picking up my car, I paid the core charge and asked for my old battery back. At first they seemed hesitant to give it to me, but upon agreeing to pay the core charge t was provided to me. It soon became clear why they were hesitant to give me back my battery.Since leaving the dealership, my check engine light has come back on, the car idles rough, AND, I have had the battery inspected from the auto parts store where I purchased the battery, as well as two (2) independent auto parts stores and an independent mechanic. All four have agreed that the battery is fine. It had 90% life on one meter, it had 609 of 615 amps on another meter. The mechanic confirmed the battery would work by disconnecting the "new" battery and connecting the old battery back up and the started. He did advise the car needed a tune up as there codes that arose from the check engine light coming on.It is clear that Don Mealey has no intent of ever honoring the extended warranty I purchased, no intent of ever diagnosing the problems with the car, and has committed FRAUD in selling me a part (battery) which I never needed. The were nice and smiled as they comiited fraud and tole my money is all I can say good about the dealership

Service is the quickest I have ever experienced, 3 different instances they could have taken advantage of me buying add on parts etc and they fixed things for free under warranty when I could have spent a few hundred dollars. They also have told me I already had a leveling kit when I had ordered one and brought my truck in to have it put on. So, when I went into Don Mealey I put on my usual game face and experienced a nice surprise. A nice and gentle support from Paul, smiling faces that made me feel welcome and an ambiance of excitement. Something that should go along with the thrill and adventure of buying a new car. I didn't feel pressure, Paul was fantastic. Called me back if interested and I still was. Sure enough bought a great truck and then came back months later for a great deal on a BMW! We have had pleasant staff, good pricing and comfortable feel in facility. I especially enjoyed the help from Jere when I bought my BMW, we had been in contact via phone and internet looking for something nice and we found a great car. I called today for an oil change appointment. I noted I had a coupon and was quickly told the price would not be honored because my car requires special oil. If there was a disclosure I didn't see it (false advertising).I checked in and the sales rep was friendly and quick telling me I would pay a certain amount, which is still discounted even though I couldn't get the rotation/oil change amount on the coupon.I waited and waited and after 1 1/2 hours finally the service rep came to tell me the oil filter was not in stock and would arrive from NAPA in about 10 minutes. About 1/2 hour later after a total of 2 plus hours the car was ready.I went to check out and the price I was quoted was not on the invoice. The person handling the invoice payment was kind, made the change, and I paid.While waiting in line a woman who came in after me and waited a long time too was given a free oil change/rotation. I was not offered anything. Although I saw the Service Manager walking around while I waited I was never approached to see why I was still there.I can get my car and oil change anywhere. I buy cars where the service is good, rather than the other way around. My disappointment should show. I don't plan to use Don Mealey again!Disappointed Customer,Don Dunn

I Just went in to the dealership for the first time on Friday to get a recall done on my car I was talking to service manger about my warranties has ran out and he said I should go inside and talk to on of the sales guys I said I did not want to do an upside down trade he told me not to worry about it .. he was right I meet Dennis Payne he put my mind at ease after the test drive and said my upside down trade was not going to be a problem .. I told him I want to keep the payment around the same I was paying on my car . sure enough Dennis and Rodney Allen was able to make it happen better yet I was able to sign and drive with no money down ... I would not have a problem recommending Dennis or Rodney to deal with if you looking for a new chevy .

I LOVED my experience at Don Mealey. They are the BEST dealership around. I shopped at 12 different dealerships and was so frustrated until I came to Don Mealey. Make sure to request DENNIS PAYNE in Sales because he "ROCKS"!!. He listened to exactly what I wanted, and made sure I was totally happy. He took the time to listen patiently and found my dream car that will pull my boat for my dog and me (a beautiful Tahoe that rides like a dream). He was absolutely wonderful and even followed up with me on his day off to make sure I was taken care of!!. I also received a great deal as well!! Rodney in Finance was fantastic too. He made sure I got the lowest interest and even shopped for a lower rate after I signed and it dropped 4 more percent!! I will go straight to Don Mealey for my next vehicle in the future!

I was looking at corvette on the show room floor. I opened the door to look inside. When I closed the driver door, someone in the dealership locked the doors remotely. I was not looking to buy the corvette but found thisto be an extremely rude gesture. Dispite this, we later decided that we would go back and test drive a Camero we were looking at. We placed two calls to our salesman to set up a test drive but he never called back. We purchased our new car from another dealer. Very poor customer service. And a poorly maintained dealership. It looks run down and does not give you the impression you are dealing with a first class operation. From the looks of the place and poor customer service, I do not expect this dealership to be open much longer.

From the minute we walked in the door we felt comfortable and at home with Eric, our salesman. He worked with us thru several very trying months, due to personal problems that had to be solved before purchasing this new car. Equally hepful was Jason, the manager, who help guide us thru the unique problems we were dealing with. When all was said and done, and we were free to finally purchase our car, we drove out with a deal we never thought possible. In over forty years of driving experience we have never encountered a dealership that works as hard as they do to get you into a vehicle that is just right and at a price that fits into your budget. Service advisor was rude to my wife as was the cashier. Maybe the need to send there employees to the GM/Disney training program to learn how to treat there customers because they really don't care probably why they are still in a old delapidated building and haven't done the updates like all the other Chevrolet dealerships They could care less about the customer experience. This was the second bad trip to them gave them the benefit of another chance after a terrible sales experience.

bought a new 2014 chevy Silverado, found out a month after a bought the truck there was a work order for $2000 worth of transportation damage. the damage was never disclosed of at the point of sale. Ran a carfax report and the damage was reported to carfax. to this day 2 months later they refuse to give me the signed contract and all the papers I signed at the point of sale. been having mechanical issues with the truck and Don Mealey refuses to fix the truck. So I bought a brand new truck with a carfax and have taken a huge hit on the value of the truck yet they don't care. thanks Don Mealey for doing NOTHING.

I traveled here from Jacksonville to buy a late model Cadillac with only 7800 miles on it for $29K. For that kind of money you would think it would be clean and ready for a test drive, it was not. The General Manager (Ted Pappas) is apparently allowed to drive whatever car he wants too and out of all the new chevy's on the lot he picked this Cadillac. I called from Orlando and they said he was out driving it but they would have it there by the time we arrived, this thing was so dirty it was sad. The inside looked like he had his kids soccer team in the back seat and the putrid smell of cigar smoke was more than we could take. It also now had over 13,000 miles on it. He must have been driving the snot out of it because the tires will need replacing rather soon.Pretty sad that they don't tell you these things on the phone or in their advertisements. I was also told these precious gems "Are you sure it's the same vehicle?" "Just leave the window cracked and that smell of stank will be gone in no time" "Maybe it was a typo" "Forget the smell and the miles, look at that shiny paint" "This is our best selling model" - my favorite since they are a Chevrolet dealership.I wouldn't drive back out there if they were giving away cars.

I received a recall notice from GM related to a power steering problem on my year vehicle.I telephoned this dealership to inquire on whether the part needed to be ordered or how I needed to proceed with fixing this issue.The representative in the parts department told me ,just bring the car in anytime and they could correct the problem.Actually the representative told me to come in the afternoon when it was less busy.On 8/12,I took my vehicle to the dealership to have the repair done.When I arrived to check in the car at the dealership the service attendant told me if the part had been ordered .I told him the above information and he stated the part needed to be ordered.I complained to this individual about the inconvenience of my coming 20 miles each way due to the bad information from the dealership.He had no interest to the problem and my part was ordered.When I returned home I telephoned the Service Manager of the dealership and explained the problem I had and the inconvenience which was incurred to me by the bad information from the representative of Don Mealey Cheverolet.The service manager had no real interest in my problem .He stated who had told me this information and I stated it was a person in the parts department.He stated he doubted anyone would say that ,because the parts people know about the recalls.I told him I would not have come 20 miles each way if your representative had not told me to bring the car anytime.He stated basically it was not the dealerships problem. for the recall and it was GM problem.I ask if he could compensate me for my inconvenience.He answered by stating it was Gm's problem and offered their telephone number and told me to call them.This Service Manager showed no customer service etiquette or skills to resolve my problem or help me in any way.Apparently he flunked the customer service 101 class.Do your self a favor if you need service go somewhere else.

On May 4, 2014 I purchased my new 2014 Chevy Silverado and I must say that this was my best car shopping experience ever. I reluctantly needed to purchase a truck and was hesitant to trade in a car I loved. After a long painful day of truck shopping I decided to make one last stop at Don Mealey Chevrolet where I was greeted by James Lee. James approached me, listened to my needs and wants, made me feel comfortable without being pushy and showed me several truck options. James was very informative, answered all my questions, was patient and worked very hard to get me the payments I wanted. This was a refreshing experiencing as nowadays, it commonly seen that car salesmen just dont care enough and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet. But, a salesman like James delivered an incredible service and provided a very pleasant experience. I will definitely be coming back to Don Mealey for my next purchase. Thank you!

I apologize in advance for the long story. I went in to look at an Impala. Impala's come highly rated and well priced. So I went to the closest dealership. Don Mealey Chevrolet. The salesman stopped us and told me his name was Dan and Bob. Either he couldn't decide what his name was or he had amnesia. At that point I was on the defensive knowing I wasn't likely to get a straight answer. I asked several more questions... "does this car come in all wheel drive?". "no", was the answer. (seriously this guy knows nothing about his product. does the car have ventilated or cooled seats?, the answer was yes, all Impala's do. (they don't). They next question was why have they been on for several minutes and I don't feel anything. Dan or Bob or whatever his name was told me its because we had the doors open. (after the car running for 15 minutes I should at least feel air moving). Then I asked if there were rebates on the car. His answer was, "lets go inside and sit down and talk about it". So I asked again... his answer, "all sortsa things on this car". It was clear to me this was a high pressure, no answer kinda dealership. The place needed the grass mowed and the floors cleaned. Who runs this place??? On the way out the salesman yells, "can I sell you a car today?". I guess leaving did not get the point across. I will go buy a Lincoln instead.

I was handed of from person I was deealing with-who was not with a customer- to James who knew nothing about me.2)During test drive I was told about maintenace package and other items that would be included if I got equinox and right now I have no way of redeeming since he did not gie me any paperwork explaining how to redeem.3) I had to negotiate for over 90 minutes for price that was reasonable. The reason this is so galling is that I had told him that this was very reason that I was not going back to the GM dealership that I had previously bought from. I came in with information I needed and he still started $100 more per month than reasonable. He also tacked on an additional $2.50 per month to agreed upon amount. This is absurd since the last negotiation was literally over $5 per month which I finally relented on. 4) The financing took another hour plus and caused me to be late to where I was going after. I did consider walking in middle of this time but thought that since I had made my schedule known prior to arrival they would not make me later than needed.5) After leaving and realizing some of issues I have emailed James, and two other employees only to get no feedback except " I will look into it".6) recieved postcard in mail stating I owe them more money since they made a mistake on paperwork. I read these reviews and maybe my mistake was not to ask for one of the other salesman. Overall though this experience has soured me not just on Don Mealey but all of GM because I have bought 5 cars in my life and the only two bad ones are at GM dealerships.

Went in looking for a new vehicle. Gave the salesman an idea of what I was looking for and then gave me two SUVs to choose from. I told him I didn't like either and said I would like to look at something else. He then told me that those two SUVs were all I could choose from and he then began trying to talk me into them after I said no. He then had a manager come out to do the same, once again I said I didn't like them and was told we should go inside and run my credit and do numbers. I could not figure out why they wanted to move inside when I still hadn't picked out a vehicle I liked. I then said thank you and told them I was leaving. They both then stepped in my way and asked me to reconsider and tried to keep me from getting to my car. I will never come back here!

I always receive great service from Don Mealey Chevrolet. Their staff is always friendly and professional. Their technicians seem well experienced in their abilities to diagnose and repair. The staff and technicians will take the time to listen to my observed symptoms with sincerity. In my opinion, they are second to none in the Orlando area based on my experiences with other dealership service centers and other brand name shops in the area.Their prices are also very competitive even with non-dealership shops. We took our Pontiac to Don Mealy because they're the closest GM dealer. Our Pontiac was recalled. We took it in and they needed to evaluate it. We were called in about an hour and they replied that a part must be ordered. They promised to call us as soon as it arrived. Well, in a week we hadn't heard from them and decided that we'd better call. The person that took the call said that they didn't phone because their computer does not call cells. My wife said that we were in the book and this employee's response was " that would take some brains and effort ". We made an appointment for the next day and delivered the car around 1:00. We told them we were there because of a recall. In about an hour we were called by another employee and he said they had done the evaluation and they needed to order the part. I just about jumped through the phone. He came back a couple of minute later and said it would be done in a couple of hours. When my wife signed to pick it up, she said the lady behind the desk was completely unfriendly and bordered on being rude. This used to be Bill Siedell Chevy and they had a horrible service department. I thought since the owner was changed, maybe the service had changed. Apparently not.

We can't say enough good things about Biker Bob. He is warm, personable, engaging, professional, knowledgable and genuine. My experience at Don Mealey Chevrolet was one of the best experiences I have ever had when purchasing a car. I went into the dealership assuming there would be pushy salesmen and people who were only interested with making a sale. However, I am pleased to say I was so very wrong! I was greeted by Nick McDermit and the good experience just kept on coming! He was friendly, extremely helpful and very patient with all the questions I had for him! Once I decided I was interested in purchase, Jason Butera came in and helped out with the finances. Jason's expertise, professionalism and care was obvious from the start and continued through until the very end of the transaction. The entire crew at Don Mealey were so friendly, kind and definitely did everything they could to get me the best deal for my car! And best of all, I love my car!!!! Don Mealey in Clermont Florida did not give us good service. I felt like we were not taken seriously. We bought a truck less then a month ago (April 2012) and we have had nothing but problems since. The truck ran great for our five minute test drive. Within the second day of having the truck home we noticed a rattling in the motor. Don Mealey insisted the rattling noise in the motor is "normal" . We knew better then that. We had two certified mechanics check out the truck and they both confirmed the lifters were going bad and needed to be replaced. Finally the mechanic at Don Mealey admitted the truck had "lazy lifters". After giving us the run around for about three weeks ( using thick oil treatments to quiet the noise) and stating that this is not something that needed to be fixed they bought the truck back to resale. So buyers beware of a 2002 Grey Chevy Silveraldo 1500 LS that has a "normal" rattling sound.
