Everything was Great!! My pickup was finished way before I needed it. Jeff the service manager even called me to let me know it was ready, and he let me know my batteries are getting to the point of needing replace. They even scrubbed the 100's of bugs off my windshield.

This was just an oil change visit. You did a good job except you and I forgot to discuss greasing the lube points and your report does 't tell me if this was done or not.

The staff is always friendly, when I walk in the door they great me and know my name. Their service is timely while I wait in the comfortable customer waiting area. They let me know if my vehicle needs any addition service, otherwise they walk me to the cashier followed by a friendly goodbye. The cashier works quickly and I am out the door until the next time my vehicle needs service.

I was working with my insurance company on what they termed as my truck being totaled, a 2002 Explorer Sport Trac, with over 231,000 miles on it. As you can see it was a hard working and long lasting truck. I was on limited time to find a replacement. Living in Salem I did not find anything that interested me in the time frame I was working on, so I put the target range out over 100 miles. Doherty had just what I wanted, all my dealings were done by email and over the phone, I pretty much bought the truck without even test driving it, I put my faith and trust in Doherty Ford that they stood behind my purchase and that I drove away in. My experience with the dealership was excellent, more of a hometown approach, no high pressure. They wanted me to be happy with my choice, the price was great and they were wonderful to deal with. Thank You Doherty Ford and Staff.

My husband took our Grand Marquis in for a recall. He did not like that he had to take it in twice. Once to assess it, then again when the parts came in. That being said, he did like that the servicemen were friendly and helpful. I'm sure it's not their fault, but rather a corporate decision, that the car couldn't be fixed in one visit. Thank you for the good customer service.

I thought I was going to be a in for a SUPER expensive transmission repair. I took it in to Doherty Ford, which had the best price in town for a diagnostic check. I show up and Gene Sanders has his transmission expert Don Stadelman take it for a drive with me to find out what is wrong. We hop in the van and before we get out of the parking lot, he suspects the problem, pulls back into the service bay, grabs a tool and fixed the whole thing in like 15 minutes! Then...seriously, then he's like, there is NO CHARGE!?!?! What? Ok, I understand helping a guy out or telling me to go home and fix it myself or even set an appointment and get charged the minimum...but NOTHING! Seriously, the guys there are super! I even asked what kind of pizza they like, so I could say thanks, and he's like, "You don't need to buy us a pizza..."

Staff member took our 15-passenger van to Doherty's. After just asking a couple of questions, pinpointed exactly the problem, quick fix with a fuse (that was causing all kinds of turmoil) and did not even charge us for disgnosis nor time...........And good sense of humor besides! They won our business.

I took my 95 ford explorer in for a check on 11/19/13 due to a flashing OD light. The service manager called and left a message for me to call back, fearing the worst (this vehicle is on its third transmission) I called back to be informed that the vehicle threw a code for "excessive converter slip." I asked what was done to check the vehicle out and was told that they reset the code and drove it for twenty five miles with no problems and if it throws the same code I will need a new transmission. These folks could not even drop the pan to check the transmission out or see if there was crud on the screen or bottom of the pan. As I walk out the door with $99 less in my wallet with no more information than when I dropped it off I was a little hot, I expected a little more since it was a transmission issue. I truly wonder if the so called "service tech's" can diagnose problems any more without the computer telling them what is wrong with the vehicle. I will do Doherty a favor and send folks who own Doges their way, this quality of service deserves that quality of vehicle. I will no longer go to these folks for even parts.

-my truck will not start,so i towed it in $99.00 diagnose-told me it was the battery,so they replaced it.$130.00-went to pick up my truck,and will not start.-they re checked it,and now i got a bad inertia switch.$89.00-so they replaced it.-went to pick up truck,and still won't start.-so they check it yet again,-and now i got a bad fuel pump,$750.00-so finally that did it.-at this point, my truck has been in the shop for 2 weeks.-and this people were never apologetic.about any thing.-it was the worst experience,-can anyone top that.?

Fantastic Service!!Had a dead battery in car. Called Doherty Ford, talked to Gene and asked if they could get to it today.Gene said they would look at it. Well i did not get it there until 1pm!. I gave the particulars to Jeff at the desk on what it was doing (or not doing). I said i would wait a couple of hours before i had to get a rental. 11/2hrs. later Jeff told me it was a bad battery, everything else checked out good.They replaced the battery at NC (car was still under warranty) and i was good to go.Great experience!!!. I will definitely return to Doherty Ford. They went out of their way to get me in and out, in time.Good job Doherty!!!.Noel
