Honda Fit

I bought a new Honda Fit from Dick Hannah and had a good experience. Chris was helpful, nice, and a good salesman, and the financial man who handled the paperwork (can't remember his name unfortunately) was nice and helpful as well. All in all a good experience. So far I love my new car.

I will make this quick and to the point being that I am very busy these days and rarely fill these surveys out. I have had mixed emotions in regards to Dick Hannah in general, but after today, when it comes to the service side of things, I am an extreme happy customer. When I had taken in my certified Honda vehicle for inspections and software update/reset, it was very busy and even though of course I had already called in and schedule an appointment, I could tell at first that it was going to be awhile until my car was going to be ready, well so it appeared. The young gal that handled my appointment or vehicle was by the name Lisa Maunu and I have to admit that in the last 25 years of dealing with service managers, mechanics, technicians etc...I have never met or came across such a friendly, attentive, warm heart, excellent customer service then Ms. Lisa Maunu. Billy was professional, friendly ,courteous, patient and knowledgable about Dick Hannah's selection and cars in general. He slogged through the lot in the pouring rain to find cars that matched our specifications. Car shopping is typically stressful, not so with Billy. My husband and I came in to find out more about the vehicle exchange program. Outstanding Buying Experience

I have purchased many new cars over the years, but nothing comes close to the outstanding buying experience I had with Dick Hannah Honda of Vancouver. I had been in the market for a specific Honda model since this past summer. Most of the Honda dealers in the Portland area I found to be pushy; maybe even a little indifferent towards the customer. They also did something that really put a bad taste in my mouth. Since they had trouble locating the exact model I wanted to purchase, the did the ol' dealer bait and switch tactic which suddenly gave me flashbacks of the ghost of car dealer pasts. Dick Hannah Honda was none of that. Just a pleasurable buying experience, offering friendly deals and friendly faces. Austin was very helpful. I needed my drivers air bag replaced & I asked if they could replace my front & back windshield blades. No problem. He got me set up with a rental car quickly, so my baby & I didn't have to wait very long to get home. The service was done in half of the time, but I had just put my baby down for a 2-hr nap, and he was understanding why I wouldn't be able to pick up my car until she woke up. Great experience!

Surprised!

Having previously bought two cars from a different DH dealership I was apprehensive about another car buying experience at DH. I resolved 'I can always buy the vehicle in Portland and just determine if I like the CRV today'. I sent a request for a 2017 Black Edition Ridgeline. Mike Melnick responded within a very short time with an email that they didn't currently have one but he would help me find one. I returned with an email requesting a price for the car when they get one and Mike had no hesitation in giving me a fare price for the currently hard to find vehicle.I prefer to get a cost and availability up front for the car that I want and that is exactly what Mike did. Made a grown man cry.

The team at Dick Hanna Honda worked so hard to get me what I needed. Billy a new sales associate ran from the second I got on the lot until he put me in Noah's office. I was not an easy customer to help. I only wanted one specific car, was a first time buyer and had $ limitations. I gave as much as I was comfortable with and they came with the rest. I'm sorry Noah had gone home by time I came to re-sign a new document so he could have seen the look on my face. When I able, I'm coming back to Dick Hannah to by my next car.

Rough start, good recovery

Checked in with attendant and was told I'd be helped momentarily. Stood next to car with dog on leash for 10 minutes while seven employees dinked away on computers without making eye contact. Someone finally came over and said, oh, did you have an appointment? Yep, sure did (maybe shoulda looked at the license plate and figured that out when I first pulled in...). Service rep apologized profusely and got us back on track. Managed to fix airbag recall in time allotted for oil change and tire rotation - like I said, good recovery. Fix the paramount issue of greeting customer upon arrival and asking what they're in for, and rating will be back up to 5 stars.

Great Honda sold by good people

I came in late and they stayed and worked on my papers as fast as they could. Coffee not so great but customer service was quality. Nick did a great job. He promised to deliver and he delivered everything he promised. Wasn't pushy very personal yet professional. Thank you.

I had a great experience purchasing a 2016 CRV EX-L! I started the transaction via email with a very responsive Chris Nelson and was referred to Scott Doyle (as Chris was not going to be at the dealership when I planned to come in) and it was a very smooth hand off. The deal was as Chris and I agreed to and Scott was able to get me a very fair price on my trade. I found Scott to be ethical, fair, honest and caring. I finished the deal in finance with Jon Lee, no surprises or pressure to purchase anything beyond what we agreed to. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. They say they "Believe in Nice". My experience is that these folks walk that talk.

Everything was smooth and quick. The service center had early appointments available for me, which was awesome. The service done was quick at about one hour for oil change.

2015 Honda Civic

Working with Nick made our car buying experience actually enjoyable, I would normally prefer to get teeth pulled instead of buying a car at a dealer. Nick was extremely easy to work with and very knowledgeable. He showed us multiple used car options and never tried to push one on us that we said NO to. We test drove an Accord and a Civic, Nick knew both cars in and out and was able to answer all of our questions easily as we asked them. New Ridgeline purchase

Was a decent experience overall. Nick was the reason we came in. Nick was very flexible in meeting our schedule requirements. The dealership was clean and pleasant.

Dead battery. Dick Hannah to the rescue!

On July 12th I Accidentally pushed my start button twice when parking in my driveway. Went out to leave about 2 1/2 hours later and the battery had died. Called D. Hannah and John from customer service came to my aid. He was VERY helpful. Answered all my questions as I was totally unaware I had done this. John was really great! (This is a 2016 CR V that I have had for a month.)

We have bought many cars over the years. I had trepidation about buying yet another car and having to go through the dealer's "song and dance" routine. Scott is the man

I went in to buy my first new car nervous as all hell about what I was getting myself into, not knowing how the car buying process goes at all. Scott provided some excellent service from the moment I arrived however and did his best to explain everything to me so I could understand it (I had a lot of questions I felt like), made sure I was comfortable and I believe he tried his best to give me the best deal I could get. Scott was great, I gotta give it to him. He explained in detail what my options were and hooked me up with a ride that I love. We were having intermittent noise. The tech test drove for some time to replicate but couldn't. When we described further he pinpointed the problem quickly and there was no need to do a repair at this time. I was very impressed as they did not push for a repair or sale. A very positive and actually fun experience purchasing our latest new car from Honda dealer.All people we worked with were friendly, informative, flexible, agreeable and cooperative in explaining all questions we asked.We had a specific model in mind so salesman concentrated on that style and we found the vehicle we liked very quickly with actually more bells and whistles on the car than we had planned. The financing guy was also really helpful and flexible. To begin, the selection of new and used cars were vast at the auto mall with all stores together in one area. The service was friendly, prompt, helpful and professional and Christina and Dylan made the atmosphere light, easy going and comfortable. Milton and Noah, in the office, were also very pleasant and fun to work with, thus making my paperwork painless and engaging. My initial plan was to look for an economy car for my daughter. I test drove, with Dylan, a good amount of these autos which was a lot of fun and informative. While I continued to look, I came upon a beautiful 2014 BMW 5-Series that looked great and was priced right. Such that I came back and test drove with Christina and ultimately purchased the BMW. Finding the unicorn of civics

The people at Dick Hannah Honda were able to find me one of just a few white Honda Civic EXs in the region. Prior to finding my civic they tried making a trade with another dealer for the car I wanted. The other dealership backed out, but they didn't stop searching for the car I wanted. They had someone drive from Vancouver to Medford to pick it up for me. They also did what they could to make up for the inconvenience.

Single mom, tight budget - no hassle!

After a highly unexpected and ill-timed failure of my current vehicle, I found myself in the market for something reliable, safe, and affordable. Being a single mom on a tight budget with challenged credit, I knew my odds were going to be slim to none, and was fully expecting to rely on c-tran for a while. I sent an email on a whim asking about a Ford Focus, and within a few hours, I was on the phone to Scott, filling out an application for financing, and desperately trying to find a way to stay within my budget. Scott and the whole team working on my financing really went to bat for me and went 10 extra miles to help me find what I needed at a price I could afford. From haggling with the finance company to making the necessary concessions on their end, I walked out of the dealership in my new car the same day my old one died, and never once did I feel that anyone had anything other than my best interest in mind, and never did I get that 'she's a girl, so she's an easy target' feeling. Everyone I worked with was respectful, no-nonsense and honest. Scott was amazing and really took the time to look over my finances with me and help me make the decision I needed. Beyond wonderful !!

When I went in I had already done my research & knew that I wanted a 2016 Civic EX in Lunar Silver Metallic. There wasn't one on the lot, but they found me one in Gladstone. I got a great price & Christina Ramos was very helpful with showing me how things worked on the car. When there was something I asked & she didn't know, others were very good about helping, also. The purchase process was easy

When I first called, I felt that the sales guy Nick was pushy and wanted to drag out a simple phone call to get me on the hook... I was annoyed. Then I went in to see the car which was a used '13 Toyota 4Runner, and it was for sale at the Honda dealership... The guy who I spoke with on the phone was leaving for the day (he was not annoying in person BTW) instead I got to work with Richard. He was very friendly and not pushy... I drove the car, 2 test drives actually, then went home and slept on it. Came back the next afternoon and purchased the car. All in all it was a great experience (for someone who does not like buying cars or the car sales environment at all) and I love my new vehicle.

Good but wrong on a charge

Dylan was a good person and I like him as a salesman but charging your customers 208.00$ for mud flaps to be put on by your tech that a 7 year old can do is unjustified.Plus I had to go back and have service fix a screw that was stripped,and the screws didn't match.Very unhappy about that.

Following my online research for a CR-V on the Dick Hannah Honda website, I received a call from Chris Nelson. The conversation was brief and encouraging regarding our planned purchase, and my wife and I arrived at the dealership within an hour. Chris greeted us, and was happy to allow Scott Doyle to take care of us since he was with another customer. Scott took his time with us, listened to us, and explained options to us as we strolled around the lot looking at the amazing inventory of CR-V's. This was our family's third car buying experience with Dick Hannah Honda, and each time we have returned because everyone has always gone out of their way to be sure our experience was satisfying. We especially appreciated Scott Doyle, and all the time he spent with us to ensure that we found the perfect car.
