I am looking for a particular car and Diamond Jim's had one. Drove over 100 miles to look at the vehicle. The salesman tried to make a deal. I wouldn't do so without the vehicle history/carfax. Left the dealership and continued to ask for the carfax. Finally, four days later, a carfax was posted. There is a large discrepancy with the odometer history and what they are saying is actual mileage. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing this car. Since I asked for an explanation, the salesman has not returned my emails and phone call. If I would have not demanded the carfax and trusted the seller, I would have purchased this vehicle with an altered history.

Just in (meaning) new to the lot.....After I purchased the vehicle I experienced some expensive work that needed to be done the next day I was told to bring it back to the lot. I am surprisingly amazed that when I went back to the lot not only did they fix my complaints they also fixed A lot of other problematic issues considering diamond jim's being a used lot....... Yesterday I finally picked up my 2005 Chevy Tahoe from Diamond Jim's. Tony was the sales professional that helped me with the purchase. I first looked at both of the vehicles I purchased on their website, the great thing about the website it has a lot of pictures and you can browse at you leisure. After finding the vehicles I wanted I went to their show room and was greeted by their great friendly staff that helped me finalize my purchases. I was so pleased with their service and pricing I just referred my sister in law to them for a new car.

If you are thinking of buying from here think twice! The car I was sold had frame work damage and was previously a rental/lease car. They did not notify me and sold the car to me as a good condition. Double and triple check the cars. Their window paper info on the cars are not accurate either! I will continue posting everywhere online my experience so that no one has to go through what I'm going through.

My fiance called the place Monday (Labor day) more than 10 times that day. Yes, they were open. Their website even said so. They opened at 8am. WE called at 8am. Nobody picked up the phone. I finally called one last time, and a man picked up the phone. I gave the phone to my fiance and the guy on the phone told us to apply a credit loan application online and they will call tomorrow (which was Tuesday)about the car. So my fiance called on Tuesday at 10am. The guy on the phone told my fiance to call back later at 5:30pm to talk to the Credit Manager. I called at 5:40pm, and the guy on phone said to call a bit later, because he wasn't in work yet. So I called at 7pm. The guy on the phone said to call the next day (Wednesday) at 10am when the credit manager will be in. I said "But you told us to call a little bit later. Was the credit manager not suppose to work today?" The guy on the phone said "He had personal issues at home." On Wednesday my fiance decided not to call them, but to go there instead. So we went there, and the car we wanted wasn't even there anymore! My fiance asked the man who worked there what happened to the car we was looking for, and the man said they sold it already. My fiance and I got really mad. If they sold it already why didn't tell us or call us that the car was bought already? We apply for the credit loan online on Monday, when the car wasn't bought already. If they would've called us on Tuesday, like how they was suppose to then we would've bought the car already.

Went specifically to look at 2 vehicles. One had spare parts laying on the interior, and 2 flat tires. Second was parked in on the over crowded lot. Both cars have way more damage than listed on the site. The sales person would not even pretend to entertain a buy price that was anything less than what was posted. Waste of time.

Called 2 times waited 2 days for a return call , I missed his return call so I called back the salesman, I talked to him for about a minute and it seamed like he was in a big hurry , when I started to talking to him a customer must have pulled into the lot because he cut me off and said he would get back to me , as of today (and it's been 2 weeks) I still haven't heard from him. I ended up buying a car from a another person someplace else . Poor service to a person that wanted a new car, Would not buy from them if this is the way they treat customers surprised if they stay in business long.

Test drove a beautiful 2007 Grand Prix, drove smoothly. The 2nd day I came in to finish the paperwork as I drove off the airbag light came on, called them up and told them about it and they said it is sold as is. Throughout the ride home the transmission started to buck, GM is know for that problem with those transmission, they through in a warranty for the engine and transmission without my consent like they anticipated this to happen. Can't complain too much about that as I will get a 0 millage transmission out of the deal, nonetheless watch out and bring the a mechanic when buying a car from this place. I am somewhat mechanically inclined so I can roll with this punches but if you're not I wouldn't recommend them.

If you are looking for FREE coffee or LATTE this is NOT your dealer. These guys are down to earth people, nothing fancy about what they do. I bought a 2006 Honda Civic Coupe late summer 2013 and I will go back to them. I knew what I was buying and the few things they promised me they delivered. They have good pricing but make sure you know what u want.

I had been looking for a Cadillac CTS-V for a long time, and I found the perfect one at Diamond Jim's. Their sales staff was very easy going and didn't put me under any sort of pressure, unlike my experience at other dealerships along S. 27th Street. I am very glad they were able to get me financed at a great interest rate, since this was the first major loan I have gotten. The car was spotless, and just as they described. The finance manager, Tony, and the sales staff worked very hard and I was able to get my loan and complete all of the paperwork that same day. The general manager, Harold, was able to help me out a few months after my purchase by getting me a great deal on a new set of summer tires! I felt like I was part of the Diamond Jim family by how nicely they have treated me over the past few months. I guess it's one of those things that you can only find at a small family-owned dealership like this one. I have recommended all of my family and friends to go to Diamond Jim's when it comes time for their next used car purchase. Overall, I had a great experience. If anyone is looking for a dealer that doesn't put any pressure on you, gives you plenty of options, and is very courteous, then this is the place to come to.

I contacted Diamond Jim's 2 times via cars.com. The first time I asked right away for a carfax report and never heard back from them. The second time I just requested info for a vehicle. I was emailed within 24hrs and the statement was made that this time of year they will do ANYTHING to make a sale. So I emailed back and stated that I had requested a carfax report about 2 weeks before and that I was ready to make a purchase If the HHR checked out. So could they please send me the report. Needless to say I NEVER heard back from them. Not sure what they meant by they would do anything. To me it sounds like a shady dealership. I would be VERY careful if you were shopping there.

I live in Illinois and I was looking for a gas saver for my daily commuter car and it looked like Diamond Jim's had exactly what I was looking for. I called to get more information on a 2004 Hyundai Accent. The guy told me it was still on the lot and he was actually just out looking at it. I asked him if I could get the CarFax report on this vehicle. He told me he'd be happy to show me the report if I wanted to stop in the showroom. I explained I was 1.5 hours away in Illinois and that I was pretty sure this was the car I wanted but I'd like to see the report before making the time and gas commitment to come see the car. I asked if he could email me the report and then when everything checked out I would come up to see the car. He told me that they pay $15 for every CarFax report (not true as dealerships pay a flat fee for as many CarFax reports as they want each month... he probably had it in his hand as we were talking) and that he wasn't going to spend $15 on a $3995 car. I again explained the 1.5 hour issue and he said "I guess you're gonna have to find another car that's local... thanks for calling" and then literally hung up on me. Maybe it was my fast city slicker Illinois talkin' that made him upset... but he lost a sale for sure. I was prepared to get in the car and take my $5000 in cash to his store and buy a car... but that won't be happeneing now. Sorry Diamond Jim... you're in the rough on this one!

Me and my fiance were looking for a new truck and do not have the best credit. We first tried places that tell you they have guaranteed approval. Those were ok at first because they would give us a loan but every vehicle they tried to have us test drive was not what we were looking for. So we just started searching online for only what we wanted and just hoped that everything else would work out. This was a dream we both thought would never come true. Found our dream Ford Escape around 10 pm that night and by noon the following day we had filled out our applications, talked to Nick from Diamond Jims and were on our way to owning our new ride. From the moment we saw the escape to when we were driving it home was less then a few days. They could not have been more on top of their game to do everything they needed to so we could call this ours. Even after the sale was over they have continued to answer questions and help us in anyway possible. I feel like a million bucks to be driving something I have always wanted and not having to settle for something else. Nick was an awesome salesman, never was pushy or a bother like some dealerships I have worked with. He kept me up to date on everything and I was always able to reach him when I had a question. He and the dealership were both amazing and I will speak highly about this place for years to come and will be a returning customer. Everyone thought we were crazy driving from green bay for a vehicle and I just tell everyone it was worth every mile driven!! I purchased a truck from Diamond Jims early in December 2012. The sales process was fast and sales people were nice...they even had their "mechanic" go over the truck while I signed the papers to make sure it was solid. Well, 80 miles later I needed to replace a cracked radiator and bad Head Gasket. My mechanic said that the crack had been there awhile and head gasket needed changing some time ago. I asked if another mechanic could miss this and he said "there's no way any mechanic would miss this". I guess Diamond Jims person who claims to be a mechanic really isn't, or Diamond Jim's sold me a truck they knew had problems. Either way they lost a customer and I would stay clear of this dealer.

I would also like to give kudos to Tony in Financing, who was willing to share his financial knowledge with me. Tony patiently explained the paperwork and went above and beyond to ensure I was aware of what to expect with my present loan thru Diamond Jim's, as well as expert suggestions for the future. Congratulations Diamond Jim's, you have found yourself employees willing to give a whole new meaning to the "salesmen" persona. Even though I am now living in the Madison area, I will make a special trip to Milwaukee to make all future vehicle purchases.

I have worked in customer service for years and this is the first time I have felt that I need to let people know of the great experience my wife and I had. My wife and I were looking for a used vehicle after she had the brakes go out in our old one. We had gone to a big name dealer in Oshkosh and we were totally turned off by the service that we received. So, the next morning we headed to Milwaukee to Diamond Jims where we were pleasantly greeted and not pushed to buy something. All the employees that we met had exceeded our expectations. We were assisted by Nick. He was EXTREMLY patient with us as we went back and forth trying to decide what we wanted a car or SUV amongst other options. After 4 hours of going back and forth we finally found the one that fit our needs the best. I however wanted a remote start. So we asked if that could be included he said for that we could for 100 bucks which for the car we got was a great price. Unfortunately, it was so late in the day when we decided on a car so my wife had to go back down the next day to have it installed. So, when my wife got down to the shop Nick took her to my parents and picked her up as well. He also lent her his cell phone charger. Nick goes above and beyond the call of duty. He is an immeasurable asset to Diamond Jims. I would not think of buying a used car anywhere else from anyone else. He was polite, considerate, personable, and empathetic and PATIENT. We are so grateful to have met such an amazing person.

I went in looking for a used car with the best gas mileage that would fit in my budget. As a naive, stereotype-fulfilling female, I was hesitant to even go to a dealer. However, Andrew was able to show me exactly what I was looking for without trying to sell me things I didn't want! They were very respectful and helpful, and Andrew never gave off a car salesman vibe. The guys there were straight forward and got me a great deal on a Chevy Malibu. I will definitely be returning!

I am the first one to admit theat the world of car buying can be full of shady characters; But Andrew and Tony were great to work with and were very straight up guys. I called about this car, was taken care of immediatly, and began the process of getting finainacing all right from my desk at work (wanted preapproval before drving down and they had all their forms online - SMART!). Andrew noticed where my credit union was on the credit application and immediatly began working with them directly, rather than putting the contract out to a million other banks! Good job on the attention to detail. When I got home my husband was reviewing the car on cars.com;and I noticed that the price had dropped from what I had seen earlier in the day, As it turns out, the someone from the dealership was making price adjustments and transposed the entry for the vehicle I was buying with another vehicle. When I brought it to thier attention, they called me back on honored the lower price! The car is amazingly clean and a great deal. In life you don't always get the triple win...but in this case we did... a win for the dealer by selling the car, a win for our credit union with great finanacing, and a win for us with a great vehicle at a great price! I recently purchased a 2005 Toyota Highland from Diamond Jim's. My husband mentioned that the front tires looked worn & that it felt like the front brakes needed to be replaced. They put new tires on the truck & after looking at the brakes put new brakes on the front & back at no additional cost to me. They are very friendly & willing to help out! My husband & I have already said the next time we need a car we will be going there again!

Diamond Jim's is a great dealer. Good selection, great customer service, nice guys and good prices. I would dediantly recomend these guys to others. They are honest, helpful and give you that experience like your a real human being. You dont feel like they are cheating you or BSing you. They dont treat you like your an idiot. Im a first time buyer, im a young kid and new to buying a car and how to buy a car. They didnt push me, they just gave opinions and suggestions. I bought a 2005 GMC Yukon used from them and Im completly satasfied with the truck and with the dealer.I will defiantly be back for services and potentially more cars in the future.

My experience with Diamond Jim's was amazing! I purchased a 2002 BMW 530i and I love it. They made sure that everything was just the way I wanted it and even went above and beyond my expectations. Tony was my salesman throughout the process and was also there until I signed for the car. He made sure that it was clean and had gas before I drove it off the lot. A week later my window was not operating properly so they had me bring the car in and they fixed it within a few hours. I will be back to purchase my next car from Diamond Jim's and recommend them to family and friends. Thanks guys!!!

They have advertised for an 2008 escalade for $24400.00 so i called , and the excepted my offer, i gave them my debit car to hold this car, for me, however the next day they call me they said that the price has change to $26600.00 , and now this is what they want for the car, so i refuse their new offer, i think they are punch of crooks, they advertise a car with a price but then when you go through the transaction they want more money for their cars. Be aware!!
