For my first time leasing a vehicle I had the most knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly salesperson (Chris Saroj) that anyone could ever want in a salesman. If I could rate higher than 5 stars i definitely would do it. He listened to what i was looking for and found exactly what i wanted. Toyota in my book is number one. My old Toyota Camry was 17 years old when we leased my 2015. It is still in good condition. My son is now driving it as his first car. He loves it, as did I. I put very few miles on my vehicles as I do not have far to go to work and live in the city near all necessary conveniences. My very first new car was a Toyota celica. I drove that car to 140000 miles. I sold it to a friend who drove it another 100000 miles. The body gave out before the engine did. I swear by Toyotas. My experience with Della was wonderful. Everyone we encountered during the car buying experience was pleasant, helpful, and informative. I would highly recommend Della dealerships to anyone looking for a professional, informative, and pleasant experience while shopping for a automobile.

Greeted by Ryan Allogio when I first visited the dealership. I was there to look over their fleet of new Rav 4s but I told him that I did not want to test drive or discuss a purchase that day. He gave me his card and assured me that there would be no pressure but invited me to call him when I was ready move forward. He was kind and considerate of my request. Approximately 3 weeks later, I called and made an appointment to go in and test drive a new car. Before I left the dealership that day, I had purchased my new car. Ryan answered all my questions. He was pleasant and did everything to make me feel comfortable with my purchase without all of the heavy pressure that you feel in some of these transactions. He definitely wanted me to feel comfortable and understand everything as we proceeded through the process.

Went just as expected. Only small complaint I have is I asked for a call when it was about a half hour from being done and that wasn't done. Other then that a great experience. Just had some running around to do and live a half hour away.

Three days after leasing a new Toyota Corrolla we took a trip to Vermont and lost a hubcap. We stopped by Della Toyota on our way home to see if we could get another one. They were closing, but Adam Walton offered to send us a hubcap in the mail. Free of charge. Free shipping! Every other dealer, including the one we got the lease from, was going to charge $85 or more. Adam and his assistant Gabe were over the top helpful, friendly, generous. If we lived in Plattsburgh we would for sure go to Della and tell all of our friends and family to go, too.

I can only speak for myself but I hate shopping for a new car. Don't get me wrong, I like to GET new cars. However, in the past, when shopping for a new car, I've found the sales people to be overbearing, blatantly full of crap, condescending and rude at times as in "they know all - you know nothing", etc. My experience with Ryan Alloggio, Sales Represenative at DellaToyoto in Plattsburgh was the best experience I've ever had. His pleasant and calming demeanor made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. He told me he was there to work for me and at first I thought "Nice line they taught him." but he really did work for me. He was very knowledgeable of the vehicle that I was interested in, he told me tricks and tips about the car that a normal sales person, once they've made the sale, wouldn't have done. He took his time with me, made sure that all of my questions were answered and he even quizzed me in the car about how to do things! I absolutely loved that!!! Story ending: HAPPY CUSTOMER & CAR SOLD! :)

I came to Della Toyota looking to lease a new Tundra. My salesman, Jeremy Dowler was on it from the first time we sat down. He aske me what I was looking for in a new truck and although they didn't have something at that time he called me about a week later with a truck they just took in. He nailed it! We were able to get what I wanted for options and get the price right where I wanted it. It was the best experience I've had purchasing a new vehicle. We have been in the market for a bigger family vehicle for a while. We stumbled on a SUV we liked at Della (their online site) It was actually at a different Della dealership, however when my husband called Della Toyota answered. We wanted to test drive it.. when we arrived 30 minutes later, the car was waiting for us and so was the sales person.. and that was the first step to their amazing service! We didn't like the first car, but he quickly found us another that fit us PERFECT! With their wide selection of vehicles through out all the dealerships.. YOU WILL FIND WHAT YOU WANT! I am very pleased with Della Toyota and I will recommend them to EVERYONE! Great costumer service! We just bought our family car with Della Toyota and from the moment we first arrived and having the car waiting for us (from calling to see if it was still available) to the sales person (Jeremy Dowler) hand waxing our car the day of pick up! I read the other reviews and I couldn't believe any of the negative ones.. the service here was outstanding and we really weren't that easy to deal with! I recently decided to purchase a newer car. After weeks of online shopping I narrowed down to the Toyota Camry. I am so happy I did. My sales person Jon Kinsman was so wonderful to work with. I was nervous buying a used car and John made me feel comfortable with my decision. The process was fast and smooth. I will be referring my friends to John in the future. I can not say enough about buying a new car at Della Toyota!!!! This is my 4th Toyota from Della. To go with a great price I get great service has well. My salesperson John has been great from the first sale. I have never had a sales person come to my office and pick up my cars for service then return them to the same spot washed and in better shape then I parked it. I have emailed him with an hour left in the day and got an oil change before I left plattsburgh. If you are looking for an honest straight forward deal the just email Gary,John and all the folks at Della!!! Great popcorn has well!

We've finally given up trying to buy a car from Della Toyota in Plattsburgh -- I second the strongly negative reviews on this page. In all my years of car buying (roughly 40), I have never encountered such rudeness and contempt for the customer. Other reviews have had the same complaint about the salesman I dealt with, John, and the manager, Gary. Have been to the showroom several times, considering a new or used car. Finally, in response to an email advertising their 'special' on used cars, we searched the inventory on the website and found one that we were interested in -- I filled out the form to get a quote and was phoned back...by a salesperson in Queensbury, 110 miles away! Turns out the car wasn't in the Plattsburgh inventory at all, despite the way it was represented on the website; Plattsburgh people had no interest in helping me pursue this or clarifying the confusion - they were bizarrely rude, defensive, and impatient about it. If this is how they are when you're trying to buy a car, how would they be if you came in with a problem? Enough to make us drive the 110 miles to Queensbury -- or anywhere but to Della in Plattsburgh.

I recently visited Della Toyota in plattsburgh ny with no intention of purchasing a vehicle. It was a rainey tuesday afternoon. I was just driving through the lot when a sales person by the name Ryan came to our car greeted my husband and myself. He was very polite and asked us if we would like to come inside the dealership for warm coffee. Although he needed warm coffee more than us we accepted his offer. While inside my husband and I sat at his desk with him and explained what type of new vehicle we were interested us. The sales person Ryan then had us wait and he drove up in the new Toyta camery we own today! He must have been a mind reader because he picked the right exterrior and interrior color. He was very knowledgable about the car. After the test drive we could not say no. My husband and I have recomended many friends and family to Ryan I dont think we could ever repay him for all of his help. I hear nothing but great things about Della Toyota everywhere I go. I dont know how any imbasal could ever talk bad about this facility. We have traveled many of places and have been to many of dealerships. The exprince we had at Della Toyota scion was world class. Thanks to Della Toyota

If I could give this dealership 0 stars, I would. I went into this dealership interested in purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. I found the Sales Representative that I dealt with to be extremely unprofessional, uneducated about the vehicle I was interested in and obnoxious. Not only did this representative take a personal phone call during my test drive but, he proceeded to yell out of the window during the test drive to a car next to us a stop light and have a conversation with the driver because he knew him. The representative also made some inappropriate comments about a customer who had come in previously who was receiving government assistance, called by fiance "bro" and proceeded to essentially tell us that our college degrees were pointless because my fiance is not working in a field that he went to school for. The vehicle that I was interested in was a 2012 and although it was a great deal, it had quite a few scratches on it and not once did the representative address these scratches. I would have probably taken the vehicle if the representative was not so unprofessional. Even though I called the dealership the next day after deciding I was not interested in purchasing the vehicle, the business manager sent me an email asking me when I would like to pick up my new car. I called him, explained that I had called the day prior saying I was not interested, was looking into other options and that his employee was extremely unprofessional, and all he had to say was "we have other sales people if you don't want to deal with "______" and are still interested in the car." He did not apologize for the service that I received and did not seem to care that the dealership lost out on $18,000 due to an employee's actions. I took my business to TJ Toyota in Potsdam and had an amazing experience!

Jessica Walker is a wonderful person to deal with while deciding which vehicle to purchase. We have gone to her twice now for our Toyotas. Bought my 4th Toyota Highlander on January 7th, 2013 from Jessica Walker. The transaction took place over the telephone. Ms. Walker was pleasant, easy to work with and the deal was solidified quickly. When the vehicle was ready for pickup she explained, in detail, how everything operated. Periodically, I receive a call to see how the Highlander is operating and to ask if I have questions.Just had my six month complimentary service and attendant Adam Walton got me in and out quickly.The Highlander is a great vehicle to drive and the staff at Della Toyota are a pleasure to work with.

In June 2012 I bought a 2009 Scion Xd certified used car; nice little car with 35,394 miles on it. Did not expect to pay $1301.50 in February for repairs. I have faithfully maintained the car. When the check engine light came on Della diagnosed the problem as a defective vapor canister. Della advised the repair was not covered under either the emissions warranty or the 1 year, 12,000 mile warranty. Sadly I had only 1,491 miles over the 12,000 mile warranty. I thought surely Della would make some adjustment under the circumstances. The General Manager ignored a very polite letter, 2 phone calls left on his voice mail, and another follow-up letter. I am very disappointed in this dealership. I won't buy another car from them. Della purchased the Toyota dealership from Garrand's in Plattsburgh. I have purchased several Toyota models, new and used from Garrand's and was always treated as a valued customer. It should not matter if you buy a used car or a new car, your dealership should take care of you, and certainly not ignore you!

i went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. seemed pretty simple. when i first pulled up they did not even greet me. they acted like they hated there jobs. just Be happy to have one. they did the work and put it thought the car wash. it left scaches every were. they said there was know way the car was did that. Not honest, mis-informed regarding what was replaced/damaged on vehicle. Any further questions with salesman were "I don't know" "as far as we knew". Intentionally concealed issues with car during test drive (turned fan on high to hide the fact the fan motor needed replacement, horrible follow-up customer service, non responsive to emails, very unhelpful after the sale was made.

This was my first expierence with Della Toyota, and I was very impressed! Both John and Pete are excellent to work with, and I highly recommend Della Toyota. I started out building my truck online and they helped me out through email or phone every day for a week or so until we finally found exactley what I wanted! Della Toyota is awesome!

I wonder how their overall rating is even a 2. I read the other reviews and had similar experience. The people were arrogant and not very cooperative at all. I feel like they thought they were their for us to do them a favor. Jessica had zero negotiating skills (this is my offer take it or leave it), finance officer was incompetent (he hand wrote on an envelope the propsed financing and called back later adding $1000 to the price), and the sales manager could not have cared less. He had the same take it or leave it attitude.I highly do NOT recommend this dealer to anyone. I drove 1 1/2 hours to Handy Toyota in St. Albans and bought my new Camry XLE there!

I called to inquire about a frame for my Tundra. John was extremely curt in a "not clint eastwood" (which actually works). He was very cold and apathetic towards my inquiry regarding a new frame for my truck. The truck was purchased in Vermont and I wanted to see if I could get the frame replaced in Plattsburgh.I couldn't get any help from that man, at all. I truly felt like he hated his job and could care less about customers.SO, after speaking with the St. Alban's Toyota Dealership, who are AWESOME, I am actually going to drive to VERMONT to get my work done.THAT is how badly I felt treated.I do not trust that Della would do a good job.

I went there to inquire about their used Scions. No one greeted me while browsing their inventory. I had to go inside to find a salesperson, all whom were not occupied. Inside, I was "greeted" by Ron. I old him about the car I was interested in and offered a price. We began negotiating a price. After agreeing on a price, I applied for financing. Living out of town, I told them to call me with the approval. After being approved, I asked the interest rate and Fred (finances) told me that the interest rate didn't matter since the amount (around $10000) was insignificant. So I asked what the monthly payments would be around. "Worst case scenario, $280" Having done the math at home, this was about an 18% interest rate, which is outrageous. Turns out bank would only loan $8,300 for the car so the rest was made up with a "extended warranty" that cost $3000, bringing the new total closer to $12,000. A non-optional warranty (on an already certified pre-owned vehicle).
