A fantastic car dealer!!!!!!

We purchased a Hyundai Sante Fe from Dave. We drove from Long Island because Dave has sold our family SIX CARS now. We shop no where else when we need a car. While we were driving the car home a check engine light came on. Our mechanic pulled the code and a catalytic converter went bad. We called Dave and said he would replace it and work with our mechanic to make the problem right at Dave's cost. My wife and I were happy that we did not have to drive 4 hours back to Bridgeton to have it repaired. All went well, our mechanic replaced the catalytic converter and it passed NY State emissions today. If you live in NY this can be a real problem. We highly recommend Dave and Mike's to anyone looking for a reputable used car dealer. We will be back in the future for the next car, well worth the 4 hours trip. Thanks Dave, for all your help.

What a Deal!

Went down to Dave and Mike's to look at a pre-owned 2008 Nissan Sentra that caught my eye. They talk about how buying a car can be an unpleasant experience, well this dealer could not have proved that statement more untrue! As soon as I walked in the door the staff was cordial and polite and made me feel right at home. I inquired about test driving the Sentra and they just gave me the keys! After the test drive I explained to them the next step for me was to take the car to my mechanic so he could go over it with a fine tooth comb, we worked out the logistics and I was able to do that without a problem the very next day despite the fact my mechanic was located nearly 45 minutes away! I previously went to Honda of Turnersville to test drive a pre-owned Honda Civic and my mechanic is literally right next door to the dealer and Honda of Turnersville wouldn't even let me take the car I test drove to him without a salesman accompanying me. At Dave and Mike's I dealt with the Sales Manager Joe who was polite, relatable, and just and all around good guy. As far as the car goes it's great! I still can't believe the deal I received and even was able to add a premium warranty for 3 months through the dealership that barely cost me anything! A few years down the road when I am once again in the market for a car I will undoubtedly be returning to Dave and Mike's!

LOVE my new "used" HONDA CIVIC

After receiving an email from my credit union, knowing that they would be at Dave and Mike's, I decided to check it out. After telling Joe (the GM), I'd really want a Honda, he showed me the best car. He truly is honest and cares about his costumers. I love my Honda. Shopping for a new car can be so stressful. But the staff at Dave and Mike's made it so pain-less and fun! Joe, the GM was awesome! Good Car, Good Price, Friendly Staff

I searched for months for a Honda Element in a certain color, model, and mileage and found it at Dave and Mike's. I was a bit wary to drive 2 hours to look at a vehicle, so I called ahead and Joe looked over the vehicle and took it for a drive before I came out. Vehicle was as described. The out-of-state sale was handled with no problem. The lot and office are no frills (hence the 4 stars) but was clean... I would rather get a good vehicle at a good price than pay for a lavish facility anyway. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealer for a clean used car and good buying experience.

A Great Car for a Great Price

We were looking for a 2nd economical family car. Since, we have young adults in our household, car safety was our main concern. The owner recommended a 2009 Ford Fusion to us. I was concerned about the car's high mileage, but the owner explained to us some good and valid reasons for going with a newer model. Absolutely no pressure, rather helpful information so we could make the right decision. We took our 2009 Ford Fusion to the service dealer we use for our other cars. The car passed with flying colors. The only thing they recommended we do is put on new front tires. The car has been great. I highly recommend Dave & Mike's Used Cars. They were a pleasure to work with!

Great Truck from Dave and Mike's!

I searched hard online for a decent used truck for my son and found a 2003 Ford 150 in what appeared to be very good condition at a very good price at Dave and Mike's. I was 2.5 hours drive away in Delaware, but the great reviews gave me confidence to call and check it out. From the start, Joe was outstanding to work with. I drove up to NJ one day and came back the next day with my son to get the truck. Not a bad drive at all, mostly country in NJ. Mike went over all the mechanical areas. It was a fantastic experience. We are titling the truck in Maryland, which has a pretty strict inspection process. When we took it in for inspection, the mechanic said it was one of the cleanest, best condition 12 year old trucks with 100k miles he had ever seen. Joe and the staff are honest, personable, and very fair. Highly recommend for a nice used car or truck! You'll be glad you went there.

I was looking for a car online and saw an excellent deal that I thought was too good to be true. I called the dealership and they still had the car I was interested in. I explained to them that I was 2 and a half hours away so I would like to only make it a one day experience. They answered all of my questions and told me everything I needed to know. When I arrived, I was instantly greeted. Everyone was so nice and accommodating and I ended up leaving with the car I wanted. I recently purchased a 99 Chevy Suburban from Dave and Mikes. I live in Canada so I did most of my research on the vehicle by pictures and email. I called Dave when I decided that I was going to go to New Jersey and look at the vehicle in person. Dave insisted that he go over the car with me on the phone before I travelled all the way to New Jersey. He was very honest and completely accurate in his description of the vehicle. Dave was more than helpful in all aspects of the sale, from where to stay to completely servicing the vehicle, including a tank of gas (42 gallons) for my trip back to Canada. 2004 Jaguar

We were looking for some very specific vehicle criteria in our internet search for our son's first car. Via Autotrader, we were led to Dave & Mikes. After speaking to Dave on the phone, we decided to make the trip from Lancaster County, PA, to view and test drive the car. We were happy with what we saw, and the price was right (very competitive). Dave was very helpful with us in manuvering through the logistical and administrative issues associated with buying a car in another state, making the transaction as easy as possible. So far, so good on the car, and I won't hesitate to directly check their website inventory the next time we need another vehicle.

VERY HAPPY BUYER FROM VIRGINIA! MERRY CHRISTMAS

I hit a deer in Virginia with my 1992 Honda Accord with 270,000 miles. Did about 2K damage to my car. Did not want to spend the money to fix an old car with that many miles. Went to visit family in Baltimore for Christmas. Next day decided to drive to NJ and look at 1995 Honda Accord at Dave and Mikes Used Cars. The car had the worlds cleanest Carfax report ever! The car had all the regular maintenance done at a Honda dealership in Pa. Every wiper blade, transmission service, timing belt, brake job, oil change etc. was on the report. This car had been babied its whole life. Test drove the car and it rode great. Straight as an arrow, no vibration of the steering wheel while driving or braking. It needed to be detailed on the inside and needed some new stereo speakers. Dave was very accommodating and knocked more than enough off the price of the car to make it worth my trip. I bought it, drove it 300 miles back to Virginia on the same day. Got 32 miles to the gallon. My wife said the car runs like a new car. My brother -in-law followed me back home from NJ with my CRV. He said the 1995 Accord does not burn any oil. He was amazed that the exhaust fumes were clean! The car has a burglar alarm and a remote starter which I am enjoying in ths 3 degree weather! Had my Honda certified mechanic in Va check out my car. Needed a steering rack boot (91 bucks-parts and labor) to pass Va inspection. Got a great deal on a quality car at Dave and Mikes in New Jersey.

I was looking for a used Chevrolet Colorado or GMC Canyon with a specific set of options and a specific color. I knew the only way I'd have a chance of finding it was with internet searches since driving to every used car lot within 100 miles of my house would be ridiculous. I'd like to thank Dave and Mike's for advertising their inventory online and for taking such nice photos. They had the truck I was looking for and there's no way I would have found it had it not been for their listing on Cars.com. They gave me a great deal on it and I drove it off their lot within 1 hour. Car buying should always be that easy!

2003 Ford Expedition.

I needed a big vehicle. Short term. Rental was too expensive. So, I tought I woud buy a used Expedition or Tahoe and then sell it in a few months. I got told them my plan, got a great vehicle at a great price. No hype. No hassle. They were willing to buy it back, only I love the car so I have kept it for the past 17 months. I would tell everyone to buy from them. They were honest and fair and I am very happy with everything they did for me.

Great Customer Service

Bought a 2008 Suzuki Forenza from Dave and Mike's in late October. About a month after buying, noticed engine coolant level was low. E-mailed Dave and Mike's, and they said bring it in and we'll fix it. I had told them the radiator appeared to be leaking, and they had a radiator at the shop to replace it with. It turned out it wasn't the radiator, just a leaking hose. Since I was the one who told them the radiator was leaking, they took the time to show me where the actual leak was, and to show me the replacement radiator they had to ensure I was comfortable with the repair they did. Since I was the one who told them the radiator was leaking, I felt a little foolish that I put them to all that trouble (ordering the replacement radiator), when it was a leaking hose, but they were understanding and pleasant during the entire visit. I really didn't expect such an pleasant and easy experience. They were courteous and personable, and very easy to deal with. Buying the car was also a no pressure, low key experience. Took car for drive, and no one hovered nearby as I checked the car out on lot. From my experience with this car, I would definately recommend them and buy another car from them when the need arises.

Worth the drive

A total surprise. Saw the car online and decided to take the trip for a test drive. The car looked and drove as advertised and the staff were helpful and honest, rather than pushy. The advertised price was fair and the process was simple enough that I ended up driving home with the car the next morning. All used car sales, by their very nature, are somewhat adversarial; this was conducted with understated class and dignity. I do think I would buy another car from them, but I am going to be driving the one I bought for the next five years. Can't speak for anyone but myself, but I am one very satisfied customer.

Great Service - 06 Vue

Had an accident with our well maintained/condition Grand Caravan. The insurance company totalled us out which forced us to find a replacement. Since the kids are now mostly driving on their own, we thought we would drop down to something smaller than a van this time. We looked online for a long time trying to find vehicles that were comparable to the condition and mileage of our van and in the price range but weren't having much luck. We also went out to several local dealers to see what they had on their lots that may not be listed online but again didnt see anything comparable. We had gotten to the point where we were almost resigned to not being able to find something comparable to what we had and settling for something less. Then we stumbled upon a listing under Dave and Mikes for a nice looking/well maintained Vue with low mileage, clean carfax and at a really great price. We went to look at it in person and found out that they had it offsite already scheduled for auction in another state. He had other dealers who expressed interest in it beyond his advertised internet price. However, when Dave found out that he had someone local interested, he brought the vehicle back to his lot for us to look at instead. This was a risk on his part and this really says a lot about how far they will go out of their way to help their customers out. When we did get a chance to finally see it, it was as nice as the advertisement stated and in great condition overall. We ended up buying it with no regrets. If you are researching reviews trying to determine whether or not you should buy your next car from Dave and Mikes I can certainly recommend them based on my experience. They demonstrated that they will really go out of their way for their customers. Not only was the car I picked out in great condition and at a fantastic price, but their lot was full of other good quality vehicles at equally good prices. When comparing them to the other dealers that I had visited they stood well above in terms of quality, price and friendliness. Thanks Dave for all that you did.

I just purchased my Honda Odyssey and the whole experience was fast and easy. The customer service given by Dave simply put was the best. My boyfriend told him what I was looking for and a fews days later I was called in to take a look at the car. It was exactly what I was looking for. I had spent weeks looking for my car when really all I needed to do was call Dave and Mikes. If you are in the market for a great used car without the high pressure sales this is the place to go.

Great service - great car

I've been driving my 2002 Subaru Outback for 3 days now and I LOVE it! I worked with Woody and Joe. Very low-pressure sale. I was allowed to take it for a test drive off lot, and there was no "be back in five" limit put on it. We inspected the car and found the gas cap was cracked, and they repaired it before I picked the car up. While I didn't get a great rate (my credit, not their fault), Joe did work to try to get me a rate as low as possible. I'd definitely look at their dealership for my (or my fiance's) next car.

What an easy shopping experience for us. We were given the keys to the cars in our price range that appealed to us. There were no pressure tactics. All our questions were answered honestly. '05 T&C Touring 88k Mi Excellent Experience

Came up (and over) from Middletown, DE after spending weeks looking for a used, but under 100k mi mini-van with loaded options for family and travel sports needs. The original one I had been scoping out was sold (I waited too long trying to watch the price go down...which was the risk I took on myself...someone else bought it). Fortunately, as that one rolled out, another rolled in, similarly equipped (slightly less options, but no complaints here), yet almost 20k miles less than the previous van. Given my poor choice of waiting it out last time, I called as soon as I was happy with what I saw on-line and exhanged emails with Joe (very pleasant) and then phone calls with Dave (equally pleasant). Give these guys credit for all the questions they handled from me, I had a TON! Among the typical questions all customers should ask when buying a used vehicle, the carfax link wasn't directing me to a 'free' report (there is a delay from when they put the vehicle on-line and when the free report becomes available). Dave didn't hesitate one second to send me an email copy of the full carfax report. So, if you need the same on the vehicle you're looking for, JUST ASK!!! I brought in a high-mileage, but well-maintained vehicle for trade-in (over 165k mi). They were also accommodating with that. Large dealerships and even other used-dealerships won't even entertain evaluating a vehicle with that many miles on it, but Dave and Mike's appreciated my business and treated me and my vehicle with respect. Rather than toss out a junk value - something I experienced elsewhere - they saw the good condition of my trade (original owner and I took meticulous care of it) and there is a market for it, so they offered me the fair market value for the trade-in, which matched my own self-assessment coming in, so I was very happy in that exchange as well. The minivan I bought (one week ago at this point) has overall behaved well. There was one issue with the exhaust system (not part of the powertrain warranty) that popped up the next day, but Dave worked with me in getting it repaired. Since I was down in Middletown, DE, he and I worked out a deal to have a local business handle the repair (after a fair price was worked out) and he handled the rest. The issue was fixed immediately and I am very satisfied with Dave and Mike's response and handling of the matter. I am very confident of their integrity throughout this follow-up concern. I acted so quickly in buying this vehicle, they hadn't even had it in inventory for a full-day before I secured it, but even so, Dave assisted me with resolving this as quickly and painless as possible. Things like this set Dave and Mike's apart! Most important to many reading this review is the price. Dave and Mike's price crushes similar competition. Up to the point of making my purchase last week, I had been evaluating available vehicles for almost six months. Time and time again, Dave and Mike's was at the top or very near the top for pricing. They easily beat large dealership pricing and are competitive and in most cases better than dealerships similar to them. One natural thought when seeing their pricing is the quality of the vehicle. One obvious rule as a consumer is to be your own advocate! They allowed me the freedom to poke around this van independently (they were NOT watching me or standing near me). I may have spent over 30 minutes doing my own inspection. I was very pleased with what I saw and then even more enthusiastic about the price. When the day comes that I need another used vehicle, Dave and Mike's will be at the top of my list!

Honest Salesmen

Needed something more economical to go back a forth to work. Have always liked the HHR's, but never found one that really "stood out" . Mileage, cleanliness, well maintained, and of course price. I found just what I was loooking for at Dave and Mike's. I got a good deal on the HHR, there was no pressure to buy. I took the car home for the wife to look at and get her opinion. When I went back to the dealership, they filled out the paperwork and I was on my way in no time. Very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend them.

Great Service, Great Business, Extremely Great Car

I found a car listed online at Dave and Mike's so, I decided to call them up and spoke to a very kind and courteous sales person on the phone, who informed me that the vehicle I was looking at online had just been sold earlier that day.But however, he suggested I come and take a look at their inventory because, they had more cars coming in and ensured me I would find the vehicle for me. So, the next day I showed up and pondered around a bit not knowing the car for me was right there. It was not the car I inquired about nor what I was looking for but, it was me 100%. A Kia Sportage it was in excellant condition and they worked out a great deal for me excellent price.They handled all the paperwork, and I was on my way. I would most definitely recommend Dave and Mike's to "everyone". One very happy and satified customer!

Saw the 2007 Ford Cargo Van on the internet at a great price. Drove over 2 hours to this dealer but didn't make it there before the dealer closed. When Dave received our call he agreed to stay late to allow us to look at the van. With no pressure he allowed us to look at the van and ask questions. Great service. Extremely satisfied

Stopped in to look at a 2000 Jeep Wrangler I saw on the lot. Went in with no credit history at all, Joe spent the next hour on the phone with the finance company trying to get me approved for a loan. When it was all said and done, I drove off the lot with a new (to me) Jeep and a smile. All the folks on the lot are friendly and focused on making the buyer happy. Everybody was friendly and courteous. Spent a few minutes talking with one of the men from their on site service department just going over the vehicle will he pointed out the highlights and the very few flaws. They're upfront and honest with you every step of the way. At no point did I feel pressured from them. And they treat you with respect which is hard to find anymore these days. I will definitely buy from them again, when the time comes.

Great Dealer no pressure and excellent vehicles!

Went to Dave and Mike's looking for a dependable used car for my daughter. Woody was exceptional to deal with he understood my needs for her safety and balanced that with her wants/likes. Got a great vehicle at a price I couldn't match anywhere else. I can only recommend one thing Do NOT DELAY in making a purchase. They have a ton of foot traffic, I watched 3 vehicles be sold that we looked at in the same weekend we purchased the vehicle of our choice. It was worth the trip over the bridge from Delaware, my wife said she wants to buy her next car from Dave and Mike's.

Unusually positive experience

It was a pleasure to end up here at Dave and Mikes to purchase my used car. The personalities of everyone there was friendly, honest, and wreaked of integrity. They never pressured me into a purchase and were very open about their philosophy and operations. In the end i bought a car that was exactly as advertised for a more reasonable price than anyone else out there. I will absolutely go directly to Dave and Mikes first when i'm ready for another car to see what they have in stock. Its absolutely worth the time to visit or call them, they are a "what you see is what you get" operation without fancy banners and all that other typical used car lot glitz.

Great Place to buy a Use Car

I went to Dave & Mike to buy a use car for my daughter . I see this blazer there I like but was a little out of my price range so I turn to this Hundi accent that was more my price rangeand not a bad look car...I talk to Joe Hartman who came right out to help me out and he show me a few more different types of cars but decided on the Accent..so I put a down payment on it cause the still needed to put on a power steering belt..They called me a few hours to tell me that they found to many other problems with the car and decided not to sell me that car and gave the Blazer for the price of the car which was a much nicer car for my daughter,,,This place will not sell you anything that is not safe or falling apart they will help you get in a good car at the right price

Quick and easy with great service start to finish

We found a car listed online at Dave and Mike's. Called them up and talked to some very courteous and helpful folks on the phone. Showed up a day or two later and the car was right out front, in great condition (as advertised) and with an excellent price (better than anything we saw elsewhere by far - even compared to some private sellers based on the condition of the vehicle). Went out for a little drive around and decided to buy it - we were out of there in about 45 minutes, they handled all the paperwork, we got a great deal on a warranty, and we were on our way - completely hassle free and easy and friendly to work with. Definitely recommend Dave and Mike's.

Went there to see a 99 Tahoe I Bought a 2003 Trailblazer After leaving I get Three Miles down the road the check engine lightComes on I took it back they ordered the newPart replaced it under a hour no muss no fuss. Been driving it a couple of weeks running great.Now mind you I'm a out of State Buyer!!So go Ahead And Buy From Them!!

was looking for weeks for a car for my daughter and stumbled across Dave and Mikes. They had a great selection of used cars that weren't beat up and didn't have a ton of miles on them . Test drove the vehicle i was looking at and decided to buy. We were waited on by the GM Joe Hartman who was very knowledgeable and courteous. We drove an hour each way to check the place out and it was well worth it.

Hyundai Sonata Purchase

I had been searching a long time for the right 1st car for my son. I didn't have much knowledge about cars, but I remembered a few tips my husband had told me to check for before he passed away. When I saw the Hyundai Sonata listed on Cars.com, I thought it might be the car for my son. I called Dave at the dealership to insure it was still available since I would be traveling 30 miles to see it. The whole experience was well worth the trip. Dave was so helpful and understanding of our situation. He knew we wanted the car, and he personally made sure everything was in proper working condition with it, so my son would start out with a reliable car. Dave treated us like we were family. Well Worth The Ride

After an extensive local & online search, I chose to travel to this small dealer which is almost an hour from my home in Delaware. My reason was a particular car I was looking for & the fact that theirs was VERY reasonably priced. Knowing I wanted the car, which drives like new, I had only one concern: would it pass emissions in my home state? The staff at this dealer was so accommodating they actually let me drive it back to Delaware & take it through inspection!! I would STRONGLY recommend these guys to anyone! And unlike many small dealers, they have the facilities to perform service work onsite; but you may never need it...
