Total bait and switch con job artists....I was willing to buy a car directly off the internet only going by what was listed!! Had all financing in place and ready to place a down payment....it took salesman 2 days to "get permission" from management.....then I get the "sorry car was sold" story. All because they won't take a deposit over the phone.....funny though - car was still listed.....I contacted them using a different name and email inquiring about the same car.... "Oh yes, car is available.....come by to see it"..... i guarantee that the car never existed and was bait to get buyers in the dealership.....please don't chance it.

Salesperson was very cooperative and friendly. His patience and honesty was a good experience. But, in less than a month of purchase I have had two issues with the car, a Volvo XC90. First, a check engine light within the next week of purchase. Took it to service department and they took care of reparation in a very timely and efficient manner. The manager was very helpful to get the repair service done. Then, one week later, when wife started driving car to commute, a very serious leakage of engine coolant was discovered. I was very frustrated and even made a negative comment about the dealership in a survey on driverside.comI must admit that even when my frustration was reasonable, I had not contacted them before my negative comment. When I actually contacted them to provide me a solution on this very serious issue, their attitude was very constructive, professional and helpful. I believe that all the staff are quite customer-oriented, and that if you play honest and clear, they will help you to solve the issues. I regret that my bad comment impacted the manager, but now I even contacted DARCARS headquarters who agreed that they aspire to guarantee my 100% satisfaction with the purchase of the car. I will be dealing with the solution of the still pending issue, and I wouldn't doubt that they will solve the problem responsibly, professionally and in a timely manner. Again, if you really want to work in a collaborative manner with the staff at DARCARS Fairfax, they will excel in their customer service. I have already recommended friends to visit the dealership and to do business with them.

So, I visited this dealership because I was looking for an automobile for my mother-in-law who is new to the country, her credit wasn't fully established nor was she on her job for very long, but we visited Darcars because they said they could get her approved. We decided to go to this dealership because they had the vehicle she wanted, which was a 2007 Nissan Murano, the price that was listed online at cars.com, autotrader.com, and even their company's site was $7994. when I visited the dealership on October 18, 2016, we sat down with Max, who was our sales person throughout the who process, by the way he is one of the best sales persons I have ever dealt with, but the price of $7994 suddenly became $9994 almost $10k, because they said that they had to do a substantial amount of work to the car for it to be advertised for resale.After they told me what the price was I immediately got up and began to exit the showroom floor, the sales manager and the finance manger requested to talk to us about why the price was changed from $7994 to almost $10k, I said well if the price is more than what it is, the dealership is false advertising, and the price that is listed online at many car advertising services needs to be changed, because customers are only coming to the dealership based on what they see online, but if when they come into the store and the price is changed for whatever the reason, that is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, and I don't think that is what Darcars is about. whatever work they performed on the vehicle should be included in the price that is listed online, and not when you are in the process of making the deal. After I challenged them for 2 days, I think they realized I wasn't a DUMMY, and was going to go with what they said. We went back to the dealer on October 19, 2016 because they said they will try to work something out. The store manager and the finance manager told us the reason why the price of the car changed and even the overall total amount of the deal is because they have to pay close to $1,700 to $2k for the bank to take a chance with her, it didn't make any sense because I have financed many cars before. Basically, the finance manager Robert/Bob, and the sales managers Nick and Brent, wanted to make a profit off of a person who needed help and had limited options, these guys are the biggest crooks in the Darcars Organization. What is even worst is that I called Darcars in Silver Spring, MD and Darcars in Frederick, MD, I asked the sales guys is the price that is listed online is the price I would pay if I come into the dealership, they all said YES, so I don't understand why Darcars in Fairfax, doesn't follow or honor the same rules.MYSTERIOUSLY, AFTER I WALKED OUT THE DEALERSHIP AND SAT DOWN TO EAT LUNCH AT RESTAURANT CLOSE BY, I RECEIVED A CALL FROM BRENT, WHO WAS THE SALES MANAGER FOR THE EARLIER PART OF THE DAY UNTIL THE OTHER CROOKS CAME IN, HE SAID HE WOULD SELL US THE CAR FOR $9600 OUT THE DOOR, WHEN I GOT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND LOOK OVER THE PAPERWORK, ALL THOSE EXTRA CHARGES AND FEES WERE GONE, BUT THE PRICE WAS STILL $1000 ($8994) ABOVE WHAT WAS LISTED ONLINE ($7994). Darcars, Fairfax does not believe in TRANSPARENCY, the managers are DISHONEST, there's no INTEGRITY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO MY WORST ENEMY, I feel bad for the sales representatives because they are so HONEST and CARING but because of the people who are in charge they will be viewed as being just like them.

it was suppose to be a 40K mile car, but the carpets and engine oil fill cap showed 100k +, plus the cluster was completely loose. after flying in for delivery of vehicle, had to fly back home! poor quality vehicle.

Hadi is an insightful and helpful salesperson, knowledgable and friendly. We checked out a truck for a family member to purchase, and when that member decided not to buy it another family member decided to purchase it. Over a period of 4 days, Hadi was patiently there for us as we worked our way through the family decision making process. He found us a great truck at a good price without any pressure. When Hadi was not available, John was very helpful. We couldn't be happier with our experience at Darcars of Fairfax, and we highly recommend it if you are looking for a used car.

Everyone was fantastic up until I purchased the car. After I got the car home I found the gas cap was broken, and it had a fog light out. I bought the car from out of state, so I was not able to just turn around an go back. I contacted my sales person and his response was "oh okay", but never offered for me to bring the car back in. I was given temporary tags for the car, and I was told if they run out before my inspection was done, it will be no problem we will "hook you up with another pair". When my plates ran out a few days after the car was inspected they told me I had to drive there to pick them up (they are paper!), or I would have to pay a $20 fee to have them shipped to me. When I bought my BMW out of state the dealership emailed them to me-super easy! When my permanent plates came in the clerk was rude when I asked her to mail them to me, and then charged me again $20 to ship them. Again, BMW mailed my plates to me-no charge. I understand there is a shipping charge, what I don't understand how the employees were so nice until I signed the contract to buy the car, now I am an inconvenience to them. I will not recommend this dealership. The phone message that says "we are honored to serve you after you have purchased your car" is far from the truth.

Although I came from a great distance this transaction was very smooth. So as to not waste my time Tish let me know the things that needed to be repaired so that I could make a decision before driving an hour and a half to Virginia. And even after the sale was complete Nick made arrangements so that something that I overlooked during to test drive could be fixed. When I came back on another day, Barbara, Reenato and Jim who work in the mechanic department got me in and out in no time. THANKS GUYS ????

I went to this dealer with a trade for a specific vehicle. They offered me an amount for it that I thought was too low. I told Nick (sales manager) what I needed for it .He worked the phone hard with his whole sellers to try and obtain that amount. Even though he was not able to obtain that kind of offer, he gave the amount I requested to me anyways. He said that it wasn't worth losing a customer over. Alan was my salesman and worked very hard also trying to please me. I would recommend these people to anyone needing their services. Every one I saw there was very friendly.I would have no problem using them again.

The car that I purchased did not even make it back to my house before it broke down on 495; turns out there were several more issues with it than the salesman admitted to. I knew it was going to be be a project but one of the surprises was a short in the electrical system which could end up being a very costly repair. The service manager contacted me today to ask about purchase and, after hearing situation, offered to let me bring the car back in for a full refund. I still think the salesman was being a little shady (told me that it just needed a new fuse, but that he had seen it with fuse in and could verify odometer works - but if you put in a large enough fuse to get it to come on then smoke starts pouring out from behind the dashboard and he somehow forgot to mention that part) but overall I am very pleased with the service there and will definitely consider any other car I might find through them.

Salesman was polite. Dealership was not cleanest and disorganized. Their ad for the car we went to look at had beautiful pictures and looked very interesting. As we walked to the very back of the car lot the salesman stated i don't think you would want this car but we have others and he said he could not find the key that some other employee had it. The nicer cars were all at the front of the lot and some of them were questionable. We went all the way to the end of the rear lot walking past some couple of hundred cars lined up on dirt parking which seemed more like a salvage yard. Got to the car and it was nothing like the photos. Seats, tires, body all a mess. Salesman walked around with us looking for another car as we were trying to stay in the 5k price range since it was for my son that just graduated high school. Many cars, flat tires, cracked windshields, dents and banged up cars. Some cars unlocked and many not. He fumbled through a list of the cars as we asked what the prices were on some. Walking back up to the front I observed the work bays and people and very disorganized and messy/nasty area. After traveling over 60 miles this dealer was a waste.

SMDH!! I purchased a dodge charger from this place and I bought it as is and I will never ever do that again!! This was a straight lemon, I only had the car for 1 month and then it broke down on my way to work and I took it to have it looked at and they said it has severe engine damage and needs a new engine. How in the hell do u need an engine in a month n didnt even put 1000 miles on it smh and was in there waiting for about 4 hours to start the paper work. This was my first time getting a car and the worst and they told me they couldnt do anything and I still owe all this money on it , like this is really pathetic just a lemon,and to anybody looking to purchase a car from here PLEASE DONT !!!!!!!!

I originally sent an email online to see if the vehicle i was interested in was still available. The internet sales gentleman(alan smotkin) sent me an email saying call him. I did and told him I coming from fort Washington, Maryland so would this be a good time to come. He said oh im not at work but go up there and they will help you. I told him did you get the part in the email about what all i can pay and he said yes just go up there and they will help you. When I arrived a very nice man named John Thompson came up to us and said how can I help you. I told him what I was there for and he looked perplexed...None the less he went to the back and got the car for me. He looked at me and then my son and husband and said I don't think you want to test drive this because it died on a customer that tried to drive it the day before. My heart sunk and he could sense it and said Alan didn't tell you that this was more like a mechanic special???Of course alan didn't or I wouldn't have driven 30minutes away to see this piece of crap! Long story short Mr. Thompson was great and because of him I left with great information and I will probably go back but I will only deal with mr. thompson.

In all of my 10 years in car buying this has been the worse experience ever. First of all I bought the car in cash and it took them 4 hours to get me processed and out the door. I asked them not to wash the car because I was afraid it was going to take them another hour to get me out of the dealership. This is just the beginning 4 days before the tags expire I call the dealership looking for my title and I was told Ow I am just getting around to processing your title paperwork. Ok cool so I have to drive back out to the dealership from Annapolis MD to Fairfax VA. Finally I get to the MVA to get my MD tags and I was told there is a lien on the car...WTF!!!! I contact the dealership and notified them that there is a lien on the car. I was told I thought I sent you the lien paperwork. The lady looks the information up in the system and says "Ow I apologies the paperwork is at another location, would you like to come out to the dealership and get another 30 day tag??? Umm no, I do not wish to drive from Annapolis MD to Fairfax VA during the evening rush hour. Are you kidding me!!!! I will never ever go to any DARCARS locations ever again.

If you are interested in buying a lemon make sure you bring plenty of sugar! This place is a rip off...we bought a car from here, they claim they did all this work to it which is why the price was different than the price is was listed as on the internet which is why we went out there to begin with. To make a long story short, they did NOTHING! That bull crap warranty company that they try to sale you does NOT cover every inch of that car as they try to sale you on. We have had two different transmission changes in this car and each time they still insisted on charging us the BS $100.00 deductilble for their faulty work! This place sucks....buy NEW never USED or just take your business elsewhere PERIOD! THE WORSE, con artists, rip offs!

BUYER BEWARE. We went in to purchase the green 2001 audi allroad that still is advertised on the site for $8995. After negotiating a price, but before signing a contract, we took the car to be inspected at an Audi dealership. The Audi dealership told us in no uncertain terms that the repairs exceeded the car's value. The summary of the report listed the following as items that would need to be repaired in the near future: timing belt, valve cover, cam seals($3750); R/f outer tie rod/align ($758); Transmission output seal ($845); Both catalytic convertors and 4 o0 sensors ($4800); multiple items would also need to be done very soon - R/F CV boot cracking & likely to rip open soon ($485.00); air bag module-codes in system; Upper control arms (Bushing split cracked ($1820)). The summary then referred the reader to the inspection sheet for additional smaller items. My experience may be an outlier, but I would never again consider buying a used car from the DARCARs pre-owned dealership. If you do plan to buy a car there, I strongly recommend that you get a detailed inspection from a reputable shop: a few hundred dollars may save you thousands of dollars down the road.The only plus of the experience was our salesman. He never tried to pressure us into a sale and was very nice. He wasn't there when we dropped off the car. My husband informed the representative who did take the keys that there were significant problems with the Audi; the representative didn't ask what was wrong or to see the copy of the inspection report.


I would highly recommend DARCARS of Fairfax! My stepson...

Where to begin....First of all, and I guess kind of expected, we paid cash but there was no wiggle room on the pick up we bought. We did buy as is, HOWEVER, with a brand new inspection sticker on it, I did not expect what was to come next. 50 miles later it is in the shop. $1,400 on repairs to a radiator, hoses, and brakes that never should have passed inspection. Don't buy here. You're going to get a really crappy deal, and your car will break down. And they lie on inspections. My guess is they don't even really do one. Just put the sticker on.

Ahmed Albadri was great and his Managers(two of them - one with glass) are great too. Both gave perfect information and they are flexible and try to work with you. Ahmed gave right information and when i went to see the car, they are flexible and easy to work with them. No pressure environment. I would go back if i want another car. I bought a 2006 Nissan Murano SL AWD from this dealership. It was making a small noise, and they took it into their shop to look at it twice. I was assured it was nothing major, but that if anything happened, since I was purchasing the "Ultimate" in warranties, I would be fine, and was further told that if the warranty would not cover the repairs, they would.To make this short, I just scheduled my first payment for this car, that I only got to drive 3 days after the purchase before the transmission literally fell off. The after weeks in the shop and all sorts of excuses, the warranty company backed off from the repair, and soon after so did the dealership. All the sudden, amnesia fell in, and no one remembers saying anything about repairing it. But, they did offer for me to pay half of the repair bill. When I said no, they told me... I was "unreasonable" and left it at that.I am currently in the process of formal complaints on the company, and will be seeking legal advise tomorrow. DON'T BUY HERE, and if you are brave enough to... make sure that anything they tell you is in writing, because when it counts, they will back out of it.

Very bad experience with Darcars Fairfax- I had visited Darcars through washington post for 2005 Honda Civic (Stock #: N240031), the add was for $5995 and the saleasperson told me it is for $6999 on cash payment and he said this is what my computer is showing, I do not know what your inetrnet is showing you, the very next day price for this car was incresed to $6999 on internet, the sales team is not friendly, I do not trust this dealer anymore and would not recommend anyone to bye car from this place.

They listed a car for sale on cars.com for $25,995 which lured me into going to the dealership. I found the car on their lot and it had a sticker of $31,995 which I thought was a major red flag. I had printed the cars.com advertisement and the salesman said they would honor it. Hence, I test drove the car and inspected it which took about 1 hour of my time. I then told them I was interested in purchasing it. After spending more time filling out forms inside the dealership, the manager came over and said they would not sell the call for under $29,995 because they paid more than $25,995 and would lose money on it. This is totally unprofessional behavior. The manager was telling me this stuff with a straight face all the time wearing a $30,000 Rolex gold watch, probably figuring he was going to get another one by ripping me off. He also was very condescending and low-balled me on my trade which Kelley Blue book had at $17k and he offered me $12k. Overall this dealership is disreputable and should be avoided.

I bought a pre-owned SUV from this dealership in November and traded in my vehicle. I had a payment due on my current vehicle a few days from the purchase date of the SUV but the reps at the dealership told me not to worry about making the payment and that they would sort out the pay-off swiftly. Well, that didn't happen, it took always THREE WEEKS for them to send the pay off check and by that time it was so late that the amount they sent was a bit less than the 10 day pay-off they were given. I told them they had to make sure they paid the difference before the 30 day period (so my payment is not reported as 30 days late on the existing loan being paid off). 30 days is tomorrow and the second check has still not been received by my previous bank/lender, even though I was told a week and a half ago that it would be sent immediately (to only find out it was sent 2 days ago!!) What sort of nonsense is that??!Very inefficient and poorly managed process by the finance department. And they were not completely forthcoming and honest with me. My gut was telling me to make my payment, and I should have trusted my gut!Will not be purchasing another vehicle from this dealership ever again, and do not recommend them to anyone.

I had a great experience. Not only was the price best around. Staff was very friendly. Great selction to choose from. No hassle very straight forward. Was able to get a fantastic interest rate through finance.Overall would recomend. Took delivery very pleased with my car. Thank you DARCARS.
