After my husband decided to put his 24 year old Toyota P/U it to pasture we went searching for a naw vehicle. Toyota of Culver City has a great internet sales department who is willing to provide the buyer with hard and fast out the door price without any haggling. Dexter was great to work with and attentive throughout the entire process. Bought the car within one day. Thanks for our new "spaceship".

Quick the point, efficient, and good service. Salesperson connected us to the Manager right away to make a deal. Deal was offered and beat other rate in Toyota DTLA which was a plus. My sister purchased a car from this dealer, parents have also and now me. Recent graduate discounts are also offered (not too much of a difference but something). Needless to say, it's interesting to read negative comments, but for me it was a solid experience, perhaps luck or people I encountered. Thanks Djamil!

I sincerely hope that if you're reading this review, you are doing so before wasting your time with this dealer personally. I initiated contact with Culver City Toyota online and after exchanging several emails with their "Internet Concierge", Carla Cruz, I was quoted an internet price that I deemed fair. After rearranging my entire Saturday to make it down there I drive on to the lot where a salesperson stops me and asks me to valet my car, even though there were clearly open spaces in the customer parking area . I told the salesperson that I would look for street parking at which point he "suddenly" saw the open spaces. After parking my car, I asked for Carla Cruz, which she asked that I do upon arriving. Carla does not so much as make an attempt to greet me and sends a salesperson named Ish, with whom I had never communicated with. Again, I had exchanged several emails with Carla. While I don't believe it takes a whole lot of effort to walk over to someone and simply greet them and shake their hand, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and got up to shake Ish's hand. Now I could see that the vehicle I was interested in was blocked in (at least two cars would have to be moved). To my extreme disappointment, Ish pretty much tells me that before he bothers moving around cars that I should know that I was under quoted a price by Carla and that the quote is actually $2500 above what had been shared with me. I looked outside at the vehicle and then at Ish and then back at the vehicle - all the time wanting to laugh that a business could operate in such a way (it was one of those times when you wonder if you're the crazy one). Anyhow, I thanked Ish for letting me know and wished him a good day at which point he says, "oh that doesn't work for you?" "OH THAT DOESN"T WORK FOR YOU?!" - this was actually asked. I calmly answered, "No, I felt that the quoted price was fair, I just wish I didn't have to waste my time." Again, I had to move around my entire Saturday - I have two kids and anyone with even one knows how many moving parts exist when attempting to do anything. So I shake Ish's hand and walk away still wondering what the heck just happened. If you think this is where my negative experience with Culver City Toyota ends, I'm going to have to disappoint you.A couple of hours later, I receive an email from a Romonia Wright, who claims to be Carla and Ish's manager (oh, when you're dealing with a shady dealer, everyone is everyone else's manager). In the email she apologized for what happened and said she spoke with her "General Manager" (more on this in a bit) who said he would honor Carla's quote if I could come back that same day. I replied by sharing the details of my visit and that I would be open to returning, but it wouldn't happen that same day. 48 hrs passed and no reply from Romonia. I reply with another email informing her that I was eagerly awaiting a response. Still nothing. So now I figure I would contact the "General Manager". An easy task for nearly every single other dealer in the world! There is no listing of a "General Manager" for Culver City Toyota. Internet results yielded conflicting results with not contact info whatsoever. I finally call and the receptionist seems almost put out by the odd inquiry into the General Manager's name and contact info. Finally I get the name Shams Salahieh and his email that turned out to be incorrect. Who know's if this is really the GM or if Romonia's email actually came from Romonia - who knows if there is actually a Romonia. Who knows! One thing is absolutely, undeniably true -- this is how they do business at Culver City Toyota. Heed this warning - steer clear of this place.

Went on July 16th, 2016 for a 30k oil change.Scheduled my appointment online on Culver City Toyota website, for 11:45am.It doesn't say anywhere your waiting time.Arrived at 11:43am. So...Issue #1: The guy told me that it will take 2-3 hours. And he will call me when is ready.3 hours later I walk there and he said they haven't even started working on the car yet... and he claimed that he told me it will take 3-4 hours, not 2-3. Well sorry dude, I have a pretty xxxx good memory. I had told him "do what you can to make it 2 hours", otherwise what the heck, 3 hours. So why exactly did I make an appointment for 11:45am?? For what reason? What do they expect someone to do for 4 hours on Saturday afternoon in Culver City?Sorry, but I can't on weekdays. You need to do something about that. In the past (same place) I had to wait 2 hours, 2.5 max, that was on Saturdays.Issue #2: He sold me a "deal" for 3 oil changes and tire rotations for $105 (instead of $109 each). When I went after 4 hours (finally) to pay, the bill was $169. I asked why and he said the $105 is for regular oil, and that for synthetic oil is $169. Indeed on the giant banner that says $105, at the bottom with super tiny letters it says that for synthetic is $169. Well.... since you A*!%-guy see my info on your computer and you know what type of car I have, you probably also know what type of oil my car takes right? So you fooled me. Be honest next time (I am not coming again). Please.Overall bad experience. They used to be better up until 8-9 months ago, and they also used to wash your car. Well, not anymore!

i had to trade in a car 2014 honda crz and I wanted a toyota rav4, Enrique was able to make the deal work for $699 without disclosure. Enrique the Sales Manager at Toyota in culver city said he made the deal work for $699 a month but didn't disclose how he made it work, I called in over the phone expecting a lease when I got there it became a buy and I asked for maintenance since its a buy and he said he would include maintenance, GAP insurance, and warranty for $22 a month which make 72monthsX$22=$1584. He stated he had to make the deal work but did not give me a sheet or anything showing numbers how it works and said i was having buyers remorse when confronted. I went to dealership to offer to put another $2000 down if they remove the warranty and maintenance which came out to $4000 dollars and $84 a month. Based on my income the debt to income ratio did not line up and the loan to value on the car is 164% so Toyota financial is not looking good to approve the deal. I want to keep the car but because i was not disclosed full pricing of gap, maintenance and warranty i told Enrique to take the items off and rewrite the loan with a higher down payment so the bank can approve it. He was yelling at me the whole time. His coworker Oscar said I should not yell at him even tough he was yelling at me. He stated he would not even make a deal with me and i told him that would have been better than lying to me to sign the deal. Considering my husband just totaled a Toyota and this is the 5th Toyota purchase for my family i expected an honest person to help me out and i am disappointed and stressed and worried they will come take the car if I don't take their warranty or they won't approve the deal.

I took my Highlander in for a routine oil change and tire rotation, and, having just recently finished a trip down the entire west coast, requested a diagnostic. A couple hours later I got a call informing me that there was $6700 worth of issues with my car, a figure that was almost immediately reduced to $5100 when I asked if he could make me a deal. Through a convoluted process which involved my inability to contact my parents (the registered owners of the car) and extensive insistence that these issues were critical, and would very soon result in the abrupt and unavoidable failure of my car, I regret that I allowed him to begin maintenance, while requesting that he hold off on the bigger issues until I could contact my parents. He took that as an opportunity to begin all maintenance, and, upon hearing from an mechanic friend that the described issues were almost certainly not in need of immediate intervention, apologized that nothing could be done, all the work had been started. The process involved informal invoices, claims that paperwork was too complex to produce pre-maintenance, broken promises (delayed finish, inability to clean the car), an accusation that my father had not been effectively caring for the car, taking it in for regular maintenance, and, most upsettingly, THE ISSUES ARE STILL THERE! One of the most expensive procedures was replacement of the tensioners in the timing belt, which he claimed was why my car made so much noise when stopped, but it's been nearly a week since the maintenance, and it STILL MAKES THE NOISE.This place took advantage of me. Without question. It is incomprehensible to me that it is still running, and under the banner of Toyota, no less. The worst part is, I feel like an idiot, but I really didn't know better, and they used that to their advantage.

Stay very far away from Culver City Toyota for a new car purchase. I was in the process of buying a van when i reached out to them. The after hours auto-reply was the first indication that i should have stayed away from them. I asked for them to send me their pricing for a specific make / model / trim level and the MSRP of the vehicle on the auto-reply was more by about 6000, Later they told me "Oh it was an error in the autoresponder"While exchanging emails, I was sent an out of the door price for the van, Toyota has special financing if you go with that option, however you lose the cash rebate they provide since it is either or, I was very familiar with this and i asked the salesman 3 times via email if he was sure about the price, and that it was for the promotional financing rate, all along he said it was and to come down to the dealership. While at the dealership, i had an appointment with the sales person, I was there about 15 minutes early and i let them know i was there, The salesman was running late, not only did he not make it in time for the appointment, but he came about 35 minutes late, and his excuse was, "Oh i was out looking at apartments that i am trying to move to", all along we were waiting at the dealership for him, after having setup an appointment. When he was back, i asked him for a pricing sheet to show me all the details, this is when things started going down, He brought a pricing sheet with the cash rebate, and i told him we did not agree to that several times, A typical bait and switch that car dealers play, trying to get you down to the dealership first. In any case, we declined their higher offer and walked out of the dealership, I would strongly suggest staying away from this Toyota dealership and taking your purchase somewhere else (there are about 50+ Toyota dealers in Los Angeles)

When I called Toyota Culver City service department to make an appointment to replace brakespads I ask the employee Randy what will be the price for replacing front and back pads, his answer was total $289.95 for the front and back breaks. I made an appointment for 3/11/2015 to do it. As arrived to the service department and told them of the price quoted me by Randy they said Ho no this is a price for the front only, I asked to speak to the manager and talked to Shant Keoroghlian, Fixed Operations Director, he insist that the price given to me is incorrect, Randy showed up and did not utter a word, did not denied that it was a mistake. I could see that I will not go anywhere with Mr. Keoroghlian. I have left and replace my brakes somewhere else for $258.00 It is obvious that this dealership wants you in and then change the price on you knowing that you arranged the day for that and it will be hard for you to leave. Do not trust verbal quote from this dealership. Yoel

I had a maintenance light on my Prius and took it in to be checked. They told me that 1/3rd of my coolant had leaked out and if I didn't replace the engine water pump my engine would be permanently damaged and would have to be replaced. They also said I had two other leaks which needed to be fixed. All together costing over $2700. I didn't want my engine damaged so I only had the water pump replaced. I took my car to my fathers mechanic the next day. He did a full inspection and found nothing wrong and no leaks. My dad asked me if I park in the same spot every day, and I said yes. He asked if there is a stain or puddle in my spot. I answered," No my car doesn't leak". And then I realized, I've been had! $2700 in leak repairs for a car that has no leak! Culver City Toyota is a dishonest lying bunch of xxxx! Do NOT trust them, do NOT believe their claims of wear on your car. Better yet, never take your car there.

Most importantly, she got exactly the car she wanted at the price she could afford. Thanks Kendra!!!!

Not So user friendly.

I contacted this dealership over the telephone regarding a car at their dealership I saw online. They were not very helpful. Said they would call back and never did. I had to call three times to get an answer to my question regarding the vehicle I was interested in.

Salesman Jonathan did a fantastic job on giving me options to buy my new car. No pressure just choices....unlike your regular salesman that wants to sell you the most expensive car, Jonathan gave us plenty of choices. Made it very easy for us to choose a car that we were looking for... Thanks

My parents leased an all-electric 2013 RAV4 from this dealer on 8/29/13. The guy that works in their finance department is a liar. None of the managers cared what he did to my parents - which I was able to spot and stop because I buy a lot of cars. The finance guy (Robert I believe is the liar's name) tried to sell them a $800 insurance policy because he said Toyota no longer allows "reasonable wear and tear". He said that means that you cannot bring the car back with minor door dings or scratches, and it must be returned with new brakes and new tires UNLESS you buy the policy - according to Robert. This makes Toyota look bad - not the dealer! He said Toyota's policy is "just like BMW". I happen to know people who lease BMWs every 2-3 years so I knew right off the bat he was full of it. So we read the lease agreement and he was totally lying - you are allowed reasonable wear and tear! Next we looked at the insurance policy he was trying to sell us, and it literally covers nothing!!!Furthermore, he rudely told my parents "what you can't afford $800? You're leasing a $45,000 car!" At hearing this in combination with his lies, I lost my temper.Upon getting into a huge argument with him, the general manager came in and assured me Robert would be disciplined. I doubt that happened!I'm sure lots of people have been sucked into this and it's something the District Attorney ought to be made aware of. In addition to this scam that the dealer tried to pull, they completely messed up the paperwork three times for the car which required us to take time off from work, wait in line at the DMV, and even contact Toyota U.S. They listed the car as gasoline which prevented us from getting the CarPool stickers and despite promises to correct it, the dealer never did until Toyota U.S. stepped in. These guys are totally incompetent and are total liars. I took all their advertising stuff (plates, etc...) off the car immediately. Absolutely disgusting sales practices.

This dealership is now under new ownership. I saw all the prior reviews and was a little reluctant to go, but just purchased a 2014 Toyota Highlander from Culver City Toyota last week. Got a great deal from Geoffrey Saunders. The dealership was honest and trustworthy. It was the best new car purchasing experience that I ever had. I would be happy to recommend Culver City Toyota to anyone needing a new Toyota.

I purchased a brand new 2013 Prius from Culver City Dealership. The car was sold to me with a malfunctioned blue tooth. Every single time I was turned away saying that the blue tooth was fine and it was my phone that was the problem. Finally 3 months later after taking the car in 5 times, they found out that the blue tooth module needs to be replaced. I wasted so much time and effort needlessly for a dysfunctional car. It took 3 months for the dealership to take me seriously. I feel disrespected and angry that I was sold a broken car. They do not do a thorough enough job when servicing a car. They made me return 5 times unnecessarily. The customer service here is terrible.

PISSED OFF MORE THEN WORDS CAN SAY!!!! Went into this dealership tonight 3/9/14 to buy a 2014 Toyota Corolla S. Found the one I wanted, the bright blue. Test drove it and fell in love. Didn't haggle or anything, told them to keep my payments under $500 and I would put $5000 down. The salesmen, Barry, ask if I had my checkbook with me, and I did, I was fully ready to buy the car right then and there. The sales manager comes out and ask me if the check was a starter check, because his check machine wouldn't scan the check. I told him it was a check I got the bank to print me out, as I don't use checks. He said okay, not a problem he would take it as long as I promised him the funds were in there. I had just got my tax return of $5,163 back. The funds are there. So they take me into the finance office to sign all the papers and get me out the door. The washed the car, gased it up, and was sitting outside the door. The finance guy has me sign all the papers, he got me financed with Toyota.... so he said. After I signed the last form, he then says, hold on a minute. He comes back and 1 second later the other finance guy walks in and tells us, we can't have the car tonight, he can't take my check because it won't scan, and tomorrow morning I need to go to Wells Fargo and get a cashiers check for $5000, and then I can have the car.Problem.... tomorrow is Monday morning, I work from 8AM to 8PM... and don't have the time to go get a cashiers check, or go out of my way. I told him he could use my partners debit card, however he would only be able to pull $2500 at a time out, due to bank limits on the card... that didn't work for him either. I then tell him I would see if I could make it to the bank, He says great be here at 9AM. Tell him I can't make it at that time. I ask him for my check back since he wasn't giving me the car now... and they REFUSED to give me the check back. The REFUSED to give me the car as well..... sounds like a scam to me, however Wells Fargo has great online banking and I placed a stop payment on the check and will be contacting DMV Investigators on this dealership first thing tomorrow morning. After reading all of their reviews, I'm very happy I didn't finish the deal with them. The poor salesman Barry was begging me to come back.... and said he was just as pissed off at them for pulling that, says he just came there a month ago from another Toyota dealer, and wishes he would of stayed where he was, because this dealership was a "joke" as he put it.STAY CLEAR OF THIS xxxx HOLE!!!

You charge a bit more, but I always know my car is going to be in good shape when I pick it up. Osbaldo Perez was above and beyond kind, considerate, treated me so well and I really appreciate that. The best service I have had at your dealership ever. Osbaldo deserves recognition.

I literally looked at hundreds of trucks and SUVs on Cars.com and it was fun and easy! After speaking to about ten, then narrowing my search to 3 dealerships, I chose Culver city Toyota for 3 reasons: 1. They gave me the best deal. 2. They were the ONLY sales people to call me back, send new photos, and email me when they said they would. 3. They were the easiest to talk to and deal with overall. The staff were professional, friendly and simply answered my questions without pressure to purchase a vehicle. I highly recommend Culver City Toyota!!!

This dealership gave me a lot of run around and mis-information. I went in for a recall service and they did not have the part in stock, which they should have told me when I called for the appointment. Since I was there, I asked them to appraise the truck. They made me wait for more than an hour (while I was approached several times to buy a new vehicle - not what I was there for) and then the resales manager was "in a meeting" and not available to speak to me about the truck's value. I never got anything in writing and had to call several times to get the appraised value by phone, which was significantly lower than they had appraised it for just 6 weeks earlier. They said it was because of gas prices, although gas prices were coming down at that time. I felt deceived. They had no regard for the value of my time or my continued business. I will not do business with Miller Toyota again, but Marina del Rey Toyota is not much better.

I went in with my wife and with my two year old son, to settle a deal on 2011 Toyota Prius. They did not seem to have much customers, still they were all over the place and wasted my time searching keys to a car of our preference to test drive. After about three hours of ordeal, I got a quote for $25068 plus the regular fees. You know what - the MSRP for the car was $24,720. YES. I think they thought I was an idiot. While they were rambling to get a better quote with their "ESTEEMED MANAGER" - I called two other dealers (with whom I had discussed and had had a pleasant conversation - great guys). They gave me a quote/ final number of thover dry competitive price over the phone, guess what, it was about $3000 less than Miller Toyota of Culver City.No wonder the Miller Toyota dealership did not have any customers and are so poorly rated here. As it seemed, my family were the only ones sitting there. At the other two dealerships, they had people waiting for their turns to get an agent.I went to dealer XXX and bought my car in 15 minutes. As it was one of hot selling colors, it was back ordered. And it goes with Toyota's slogan - just in time delivery. My car was sold prior to it being at the dealer XXX. Can I wait two days if the car costs $3000 less, certainly yes!I will be writing rave reviews of XXX and YYY here when I have the car.

I went in with my own financing and after telling them repeatedly that I was not interested in their financing (four times) they still tried to run an unauthorized credit check on me in an effort to offer me their company financing. They went back and forth about how I'm a lucky lady to get the price that I bargained for (650 below MSRP) and then tried everything in their power to prolong the visit and have me fill out credit applications. As if I'm stupid and can't read. I respect that they are trying to make the dealer and themselves the most money possible in a poor economy, but I came it with a solid understanding of the poor sales performance of Toyota over the past few months and knew that I had the upper hand by securing my financing through an outside source. They even said some crap about how I needed to give them my SS# before I would receive the buyer's order. The guy said it was the law. When I asked to see the CA state law stating this, he then retracted his statement and said it was the dealer's policy. With the final lie being well established by this band of idiots, I left the dealer prepared to file a complaint and spread the news about my experience on any website I could find. I guess their tactics work on some poor soul, otherwise, why would they continue to do it. But I would avoid this dealer at all cost.

This dealership is a joke. We went to test drive a Yaris Liftback and the salesperson (Edwin?) immediately tried to sell us on it for $304 a month over 60 months. For a Yaris? Are you kidding? He tried the "gas is going up, these cars sell fast bit." Don't waste your time here. Read my reviews on Penske and Power Cerritos instead, and go in with some research!

I was in the market for a new Prius. I called 10 dealers in the area and got price quotes from all. I decided that after talking with Homi about 6 times over the phone, and getting a price quote, to come down and buy from this dealership. Now, I had called 6 times, and was quoted a price of $300 below MSRP. Most dealres in the area were very close in price, and some were even offering $500 off MSRP (it was the end of the year). After driving 30 minutes to the dealer, test driving the car and sitting down to buy the car at the agreed upon price, which Homi confirmed with me at his desk, he went to go talk to his manager, William. William came in and said they couldn't do the price and wouldn't take anything off the MSRP. I told him the deal that Homi and I had agreed upon and the 6 phone calls, and that I was quoted the price right before driving down to the dealership, and William didn't care. Made no attempt to deal with me and said that he would not budge. When I complained that they bait and switched me and was extreemly unhappy, they offered me 2 free oil changes. Keep in mind I live nowhere near the dealer. Homi then said that he could take $50 off. All of which I refused and let them know about their unscrupulous business practices. Homi even had the nerve to call me when I left the lot and say that someone else was looking at the vehicle and that if I wanted it, I better hurry back. I told him that he already lied to me before and that there was no way I would believe him again. I then drove to Toyota of Hollywood and bought the same car, for a cheaper price than they had lied to me about. Hollywood Toyota took $500 off the MSRP immediately.Miller Toyota will lie to you to get your business. They have no regard for trust or their customer. They will lie to you to get you into the dealer.
