Ava seems to be a caring sales agent, eager to answer any questions, and willing to explain any process that you aren't quiet familiar with. If she isn't clear on a certain process, she will find someone that is.

Sales manager was downright confrontational after initial offer on a used vehicle. I was willing to go up another 1-1.5K on initial offer but unfortunately he would rather aggressively argue instead of negotiate or maintain open lines of communication. I will never do business here, no one in my family will ever do business here, nor will I recommend this establishment to any of my associates. I'm not sure how their reviews are as high as they are. I suspect many of their positive reviews are false.

My mother does not have an email address so she asked me to extend her sincere gratitude of thanks to the Cross Creek Subaru staff for their kindness and professionalism in making her car purchase such a pleasant experience. Her and I would like to especially point out our sales woman, Emily Bracey. The kindness and at ease feel you gave my mother during this process was nothing less than outstanding. She had been nervous for a week coming into this process because her experiences in buying vehicles over some 45-50 yrs has always been something less than pleasant. From the time we walked in unannounced and unscheduled, Emily took away from her already engaging schedule and literally treated us like family. She made sure that my mother got exactly what she wanted in the way of options on the car. My 79 yr old mother was so afraid she was going to be bullied into buying something else. From the time mom told Emily what she wanted, Emily put her towards that vehicle. It allowed my mother to breathe with a sigh of relief that she didnt have to have her guard up. It was, by far, the most pleasant car buying experience that either of us have ever been through. I will absolutely seek out this dealership for my next car purchase and I will express to everyone I know that this is the dealership to do business with. The Subaru product is a great one. When you add this type of customer service to it, it is a major win for the manufacturer and the buyer. From top to bottom, this is exactly how a car buying experience should feel. Thank you all so much again. Sincerely, Kevin (son) Evelyn (mother)

From the first time I came by Cross Creek Subaru, the employees in the service department told me how highly ranked in customer service this particular dealer was in the country. And they have certainly proven this during every experience Ive had so far. I recently stopped in to get my tire pressure checked since my alert icon showed up on my dashboard a couple days before. Turns out there was a nail stuck in my tire that was causing a slow leak. They repaired my tire in less than 30 minutes and sent me on my way free of charge! Not to mention I showed up right before closing and they were still happy to help.

Absolutely, positively an AWESOME experience! Brittany was my pilot for the buying experience and easily walked me through the buying process with great comfort and to ensure that I was more than happy at each step in the car buying process. Gary, Jessica, John and even Mr. Johnson each made this Subaru Legacy a worthwhile trip from Southport to Fayetteville to buy my car. Stress level was a zero. Buying experience was a 10+. Well done, I say. Will easily be back for another car. Don't hesitate to work with Cross Creek Subaru. Give them a chance - you will be overwhelmingly pleased, I'm sure. I had a Subaru Legacy that was on the end of its 36 month lease. I ended up purchasing from Cross Creek Subaru a 2016 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited vehicle.... it is awesome! My lease was ending in early January, 2016. I contacted CCS via the ePrice application on their website on 12/30 and wrote what I was trying to do and what cars I was interested in. That was 15 minutes before 8p when they closed for the day. Within ten minutes Gary called me to discuss my inquiry. We agreed on a simple plan and I told him that I would be willing to make the 2:10 minute drive to Fayetteville, NC from Southport, NC if we could outline a basic agreement. Gary set me up to work with Brittany when I arrived. Within 45 minutes we had an agreement in principle on my current lease and on the new vehicle. Then I worked with John and Stephanie to finalize the deal. Every person was above board and transparent as we discussed options to conclude the transaction - so they made the process simple and comfortable. There were no games, no gimmicks; just solid business discussion, which concluded with my acquiring the ICE Silver Legacy with Black interior and walnut trim.

I am driving the third Subaru I have purchased from this dealership. I also purchased my daughter's first car, a used one, through them as well. This dealership is a rare breed in the car world--- folks with integrity as well as expertise. Their service dept. doesn't patronize women customers, and they will advise what absolutely NEEDS to be done, without padding the bill. They advise on preventive maintenance, and find ways to help those on a budget keep their cars maintained, even helping you plan ahead for any service appointments that will be more major expense than others. (Each one of my cars was close to or over 200,000 mileage when I traded it in.) They explain things so you understand what is being done, and make every effort to give good customer service. I trust them! Most of the folks there have been there a long time, which speaks volumes about the dealership --- the shyster places have tons of turnover. This enables the dealership to give consistent care and service, and creates a family sort of feel to doing business with them. Their body shop is great too- repairs are done well, and they stand behind their work.

Just moved here from Texas and brought in our 2015 Forester for its first maintence check up and oil change and the service was phenomenal! Philip was behind the service desk and helped accommodate us and get our car in and serviced. He was great to us and was so nice to my wife and I and even went so far as to fax some of my wife's doctor's records over to our new OBGYN while we were waiting since we didn't have the car to get to a FedEx, which was huge as are set to have our first child soon and really needed to get the paper work sent over ASAP. That was truly above and beyond! Kudos to this place and specifically to Philip for being so helpful!

My husband bought a WRX a month ago. Our experience when purchasing the WRX was what I thought above and beyond until we went in today to get some work done on it. Everyone today went way out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. I have been looking at the outback since his purchase. Today everyone made me feel like family while making my new purchase of the 2016 outback. They do not give you the run around nor do they try to cheat you of your money. Which was so wonderful since 99.9% dealerships do just that. Philip was great and talked us through the issues. Jimmie our salesman both times well he's just Jimmie, no one can be Jimmie but..Jimmie. There are not enough words to describe how perfect the sales manager, John is! I have purchased many car and trucks over the past 40 years and Cross Creek Subaru is ranked to me the best one ever. The salesman was knowledgeable about the car, (and I tested his knowledge), he was kind and courteous. The sales manager was extremely nice and informative, he went above and beyond to make a great deal that my wife and I could live with. We had been to another Subaru dealership close to our home and the experience was less than stellar. But Cross Creek does what is necessary to make you feel comfortable, informed and at ease when making a car purchase. We didn't intend to buy when we went to look and maybe test drive, but they made us feel so comfortable and relaxed we couldn't say no. I would buy from them again. Everyone from the owner (Sam Johnson) to the finance manager and the parts guy made us feel like we had bought from them many times before. Salesman Guy and sales manager John were the best to deal with.

CrossCreek has been great. The let me order my Subaru after their promotion had expired. The kept in touch and answered my questions about delivery dates and it only too about 45 minutes to complete all the paper work and drive away. Guy Jordan was an excellent salesman to work with. John McHann was very helpful. Overall a great experience. Also when I asked about the promotion they actually sent me a written quote with the discount! No other dealer in my life has ever put anything in writing they didn't expect you to sign. No surprises when I went to pick up the the Outback.. Again, great overall job!

My experience with this dealership has been solely through phone contact with the sales manager John McHann. This manager has been incredibly rude and bullying (almost threatening) to my family members and acted in such a way that, in my opinion, he should no longer be employed at this dealership. I highly recommend avoiding working with this individual.

A++++++++++ couldn't be happier!Geography:We live in Charlotte.Cross Creek is located in Fayetteville.Timeline:2/11: 1st contact with Cross Creek Subaru2/19: Behind the wheel of my brand new 2015 Outback 3.6rWithin 3 minutes of using the USAA's "Car Buying Service", Sanden Woodham from CCS called. We knew we wanted a 2015 Outback 3.6r for some time and had been in contact with close to a dozen dealers before we spoke with Cross Creek. Most gave us the run-around about the car we wanted: "These 3.6r Outbacks are hard to come by.......You'll have to order one and it will take 6-12 weeks......, etc." One dealer's salesman even stated that the 2.6i was a better car than the 3.6r and there was not much difference between the 4 and 6 cylinder engines.... even after we told him we weren't interested in a 4-cylinder in the least bit. We believe this was because they didn't have any on the lot and didn't want to lose a sale. Another dealer continuously told us he would follow-up the next day...TWICE....and each time it was 2-days later, explaining that the dealer-swap was almost completed.Sanden immediately found the vehicle we wanted, but it was in GA and had to negotiate a dealer-swap. When other dealer's were beating around the bush, Sanden had the vehicle secured and ready to be brought up to NC. Through this entire process, Sanden's follow-up has been second to none. When Sanden was off, his colleague Gary new every answer to every question we had.Not only did Sanden beat the best out-the-door price of any dealer we negotiated with, but he texted us photos of our vehicle (from his cell-phone) during the process of adding on accessories. He coordinated the delivery of the vehicle to our home in Charlotte and called the next day to follow-up.Incredible service....................the only downside is that they are not in Charlotte.Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate giving them the first shot at our business if an additional Subaru might be added to our family.

I recently bought a new Forester at Cross Creek Subaru. Our sales associate, Jeanette, was new to the dealership, but very eager to help me, in any way. She could answer most of my questions and quickly checked on anything she was unsure of. Overall, I had a great experience working with her. She greeted us in bitterly cold weather, stayed after hours to close the deal, and helped outside when I picked up the car the next day, despite the freezing cold rain! Emily (a veteran sakes associate) was there to aid her new co-worker, if needed. Jessica helped us finish up the paperwork. She is a true pro on the financial end. Clearly, she knows her job and does it well. It was easy, informative and fun working with her. I would like to say that that I also enjoyed my experience with the Sales Manager, John McHann, BUT that would be false. As an adult, married, college educated wife and stay-at-home Mom, I've negotiated new cars 3 other times in the past 20 years. I do my research well, never walking into a dealership without knowing what price my target vehicle rolls out of the factory with, what the advertised MRSP is, and what the national selling average is. In general, I have a good idea of what the vehicle is actually worth. My last negotiated purchase involved the dealership going into "hold-back" funds to get the price closer to what I was negotiating for. Mr. McHann clearly has an issue negotiating with anyone. He acted very "put-out" that I didn't take the first "great" offer he put on the table. As the negotiations continued, his face got all red and he jabbed his finger across the desk at me, stating "Let me explain to you how these numbers work!" It was demeaning that Mr. McHann made the assumption that I DIDN'T know how the numbers worked!! It was at this point that my DH, who had been quietly listening to this escalating conversation, got up and walked out of the office. He asked me to come with him. It took much wasted time for me to convince my DH that we should stay & finish the deal. The other employees had been GREAT, particularly Jeanette, and I loved the car. We did end up closing the deal, with very little credit to this Sales Manager. If I absolutely had to say something positive about him, it would be that he did work with us to get the paperwork signed after hours. But, his overbearing, condescending negotiation style almost blew the entire deal for Cross Creek Subaru. My advice: Go in, enjoy the great customer service from everyone else, and work with a different Sales Manager to close out your purchase.

I had a wonderful experience buying from Cross Creek Subaru. I ordered a 2015 WRX in September 2014 and it arrived 4 days early in November! I worked primarily with Dave Mason, the general sales manager. This was my first time buying a new car, and he was very thorough and transparent throughout the entire process. The process was pretty involved, given that my new car had to be ordered (~2 month wait) and I was trading in my current vehicle at the time of delivery. Every question/concern I had was addressed promptly and with a cheerful attitude. Dave's pricing was extremely competitive for both the new vehicle and my trade-in's value. I would highly recommend this dealer, and I will continue to work with them, despite living an hour away in Raleigh!

I recently visited Cross Creek Subaru and had an awful experience as their Sales Manager, John McHann, attempted to bully me and physically challenge me. After a few weeks of deciding which vehicle I wanted to purchase, I had cash in hand and was ready to buy a vehicle from them if we could agree on pricing. I was led into the Sales Manager's, Mr. John McHann, office and began to discuss pricing with him. Immediately he was flustered by my offer and began to discuss with me why it was so unrealistic. I calmly engaged in discussion with him about pricing and even went as far to have him pull up usaa.com to compare prices that he said were unrealistic. Sure enough, my price was close to what usaa.com's car buying service offered (the prices set by the dealer themselves!). His fluster continued upon discovering this, and his voice began to raise towards me as if to attempt to bully me into accepting his pricing. I quickly realized this and kept my cool, as uncomfortable as it was. When I asked him to compare the features of the usaa.com vehicle pricing to the dealer invoice sheet he had presented to me, he quickly realized he was found out. He threw down his glasses on the table, pointed his hand in my face and almost yelling said to me, "Sir! This is not how we sell cars!" and jumped up, clearly enraged, and stormed out of his office. Shocked and feeling somewhat physically threatened at this point, I stood up and politely informed him that I will be taking my business elsewhere and reminded him that I'm spending my money here and simply wanted a good price. I thanked my floor salesman Mike, who seemed shock by the whole ordeal, and left the dealership. The sales service manager here is incredibly unprofessional, rude, and bullying. I strongly advise against interacting with this dealership.

In the fall of 2012 my husband & I were searching for a fuel efficient, safe & reliable vehicle to purchase for our daughter who was moving to the west coast to further her education. After a great deal of research we came upon the new 2013 Subaru Crosstrek, which wasn't even on car lots at that time. This led us to our closest Subaru dealership, Sam Johnson's Cross Creek Subaru, where we found not only a great car, but a wonderful family of professional, caring individuals who went above & beyond any car dealership we've ever dealt with. Our initial contact was with CiCi, a gem who works behind the scenes, diligently researching & finding what your looking for. Our sales person Courtney was the new girl on the block & confidently handled our sale along with Tyson whose professionalism made the sales process go smoothly. From there we had the pleasure of dealing with Jennifer, a wiz at closing the financial aspects of the sale. Mr. Johnson personally introduced himself and graciously extended the typical "Let us know if we can do anything for you". Little did we know that within a month of the purchase we would be dealing with a serious car accident that landed our daughter in the hospital and led us to the body shop of Cross Creek Subaru for car repairs. Eddie S. has been fantastic from all aspects of handling repair of the car. He has kept us updated on the repair status every few days and been invaluable in overseeing it's restoration to the great looking, smooth riding vehicle it has been. Our daughter has recovered from her injuries and although delayed, she will soon be moving to the west coast. Our regret with that is that she will be unable to take advantage of the terrific service & perks that the dealership included along with the purchase of the vehicle. Not only have they been professional, but we have had the pleasant surprise of experiencing the Sam Johnson "family effect", from their phone calls to inquire about our daughter's recovery to assistance in questions about the car to a listening ear, always in a respectful manner. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience and we have definitely made Sam Johnson's Cross Creek Subaru a part of our family for years to come.

On Thanksgiving day I was driving from Baltimore, MD to Southern Pines, NC when all the dash lights went crazy. The cruise control went out and that light was also blinking. My wife and I were both worried about driving the car back to MD. I drove to Cross Creek Subaru Friday morning at 7:15am without an appointment. I explained the situation to Larry Roush, a service advisor. He said he would have the car looked at right away and get it fixed. He gave the car to Labron Land, a tech.He found the problem, fixed it and reset the computer. I was back on the way to Southern Pines in an hour an fifteen min. The car was perfect, the service was great and the people could not have been more helpful. I wrote a letter to Subaru in NJ thanking them for the great care I got in Fayetteville. I was from out of town and would not be a regular customer but they treated me like a VIP.Gene SchwartzBaltimore, MD

Sam Johnson sales rep provided all the info I needed before driving 10 hours to look at vehicle. She was straight up about the condition of the truck and upon arriving, I confirmed what she told me was true. All the staff was very helpful and walked me through my first vehicle purchase at a dealership.

The staff at Cross Creek Subaru made the car buying experience better than any I have ever had. First, the salesperson, CC, gave me more specific information about each available car than any other salesperson I had previously dealt with. Second, when we had decided to use her dealership, every person on the staff bent over backwards to make sure we understood everything about the operation of the car and the warranty-plus the business manager worked harder than my bank to get a great interest rate!

Larry was very helpful. I had some concerns and he answered my questions. One of the concerns was about the windshield wipers being changed out with new wipers. I didn't feel there was any need for that to be done. I had the same thing on another car and the new wipers weren't as good as the original ones.He told us the 30000 mile work would take two to two and a half hours approximately. He showed us to the showroom to wait. Two hours later he came out and told us the work was almost finished and they were washing the car. That it wouldn't take long.He told us this because he was breaking for lunch. He also said he had checked the wipers and he agreed they did not need to be changed.I appreciated all his help.

The new Forester was dirty inside and out, even though they had 1-1/2 hours advance notice that we were coming. They had used magnetic door signs at some point and the outline was clearly visible because of the dirt on the outside. We were offered an insulting $500 for our trade-in, even though their own website's "value your trade-in" put the value around $2600. I would never consider this dealership again.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Sam Johnson's Cross Creek Subaru dealership (Internet Sales). My sales representative was Monique. She went above and beyond to assist me in obtaining a really nice vehicle with low mileage. Eric, finance, assisted me in obtaining a resolution regarding a few minor discrepancies. I was extremely satisfied with the level of service provided by Stephen Jackson. He followed through on commitments and provided periodic updates regarding steps that were being taken to ensure customer satisfaction was met. Stephen's goal was to provide ultimate customer service and he successfully completed this task. Thank you Stephen & Eric for being men of your word. Thak you Stephen for not letting me down. Based on my experience I would recommend others to Sam Johnson's Cross Creek Subaru.

We were met at the door by Stephen Jackson and helped immediately. We weren't given alot of smoke and mirrors. Simply helped us find what we were looking for and kept the terms of the sale reasonable and where we wanted things to be. The finance manager, Eric Thompson, was great to do business with as well. Best experience ever at a dealership for me. Quick and easy, the way I like it!!

We have a very good experience at Sam Johnson the day we purchased our car. We had a special need, my husband is 6' 9 and we had to find something that he could fit in comfortably. Stephen was able to find us a Jeep that my husband loved. The service was great.

Where to begin my experience... The employees are well knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful... I was originally in the process of purchasing a used Subaru when I noticed the 2011 Subaru outback sitting there, and just had to test drive it.... When I did I was taught all the new amenities that the vehicle was equipped with... Alex Felize was very helpful and knew exactly what he was referring to about the outback... When I entered the building I was greeted by Stephen Jackson who helped me set up the tint for my windows with there shop, and gave there guarantee of customer satisfaction... They had the up most respect for me and my son who was tagging along, they are all child friendly and will help you... I as well got a great trade in for my jeep... I highly recommend working with the great people of Sam Johnson Subaru...

My husband and I stopped by Sam Johnsons on Saturday afternoon. From the moment we stepped onto the lot we had a great experience!! Our salesperson Sanden Woodham was very knowledgeable about the different makes and models of vehicles on the lot and guided us in the right direction in choosing a car to meet our specific needs. I usually dread the bargaining part of making the deal work for us. Eric Thompson the finance manager took the worry out of this and was very open to working with us and helping us get the best deal. He put us at ease and took the us against them feeling out of the experience. This was one of our best car buying experiences ever!!

We were shopping for a new subaru. We have always bought our cars in Fayetteville. So we went to the Subaru dealer there. Mike Barco and Stephen Jackson along with Toussaint Hammie were great. They went the extra mile to make certain that we got the car we were looking for.

I had been wanted to find a Kia Sorento (manual) trans used. Looked everywhere on the internet but no luck. I found what I was looking for at this dealership. it was very clean and just what I wanted. The saleman was knowledgeable and friendly. We got along great. I was in the auto sales business for 10 years and I know what to look for in a good operation. This is a good one.

me and my husband are a military family and we came to this dealership looking for a car for me and my 2 baby boys. we called ahead and made an appointment with the interenet sales manager steve jackson. from the moment we got there he was very helpful and very focused on us, not like other dealers dealing with 2 pr 3 other people. steve had pick out a car for us to drive and it was a subaru legacy and i didnt like it and he could tell before i even said anything and decided to go and look some more for a car that he thought i would like, and he ended up showing me and my husband a 2010 toyota camry, and i fell in love with this car. and ive had it for about a week and a half and im glad i picked this car. it runs great, the inside is very clean and it only had 20000 miles on it. all in all it was a very great experiance. so if your looing for a car go see steve jackson at cross creek subaru. p.s. he also went out his way to buy my 2 year old a snack while we waiting for them to put gas in the car.

I recently arranged a meeting with Stephen to look at a used Outback that was advertised on their website. Upon arrival after a two hour drive he was waiting for us and had everything ready for our test drive. We looked at both the used vehicle and several new ones before we decided on a 2012 Outback. There was a trade-in involved and the entire process was handled very quickly and made the purchase a pleasure. We purchased several additional add-ons that were not stock items and rather than have them shipped directly to our house Stephen had them delivered personally to our residence which is over two hours away from their dealership. I would highly recommend both Stephen and Sam Johnson's Cross Creek Subaru.

Great Experience at Sam Johnson's Cross Creek. I live 3 1/2 hours away and found the exact late model used car I was looking for. I was concerned to drive all that way and then be disappointed when I actually was able to see see the car for myself. I relied on Steve over the phone and he gave me an honest and accurate description of the car. When I arrived the car was exactly as he described. All 3 staff members that we worked with were very pleasant and made the overall experience great.
